In the amusement park, friends were all debating whether couples should marry acquaintances or friends. But when it came to the three of us, we always married friends. The first one is now 22 years old; we met when I first started working, and have been friends for over 30 years (I started working at 17). The second one was with me for ten years, but we broke up for other reasons, though we've stayed in touch.
Today, I'll tell you about the first one. It was probably in the spring of 1996. My friend came to me saying his wife was ignoring him and asked me to find him some videotapes to watch so he could improve his skills. In the winter, he would often come to my factory to see me. Later, he married the daughter of a leader in another company and went into business, but his wife didn't like him. Because we were good friends, I had often boasted to him about how I had won over my wife, and he was really at his wit's end, so he asked me to teach him. But that was impossible. However, soon a turning point came, bringing us together.
My wife's second lover broke up with her, and she was heartbroken for a while. I didn't know what to do. My friend kept coming to see me, and I thought this was a good opportunity.
