[Wuxia] Long Hui's Male Concubine (Complete) - 25

In the thirteenth chapter, at the

Jinling Commander's Mansion, after the messenger had delivered the victory report and Long Hui learned of Yue Biao's great triumph, he summoned his generals to discuss the details of the future. After the meeting, Long Hui and his generals left, only to find a beautiful figure in white standing outside the door. Her hair was as black as clouds, her face as white as snow, without makeup, pearls, or hairpins, only a plain ribbon tied at the back of her hair, making

her appear extremely elegant and alluring. It was Chu Wanbing. The generals knew that the woman before them was Long Hui's most beloved wife, and they all understood that the Dragon Scale Army's achievements were inseparable from the demon race. They treated Chu Wanbing with utmost respect, clearly regarding her as their mistress, and bowed to the little phoenix.

"Bing'er!"

After the generals left, Long Hui teased her, "These roughnecks were actually so polite to you, even more respectful than when they bowed to me."

Chu Wanbing giggled, "Most of them married women from my tribe. If they dared to be rude to me, they'd be kneeling on washboards tonight!"

Long Hui couldn't help but smile. It seemed these enchantresses were quite skilled with men. These guys were usually so imposing, but at home they were henpecked. But thinking about it, he realized he was also completely under this little enchantress's thumb. The entire Dragonscale Army had become a henpecked army.

After the demon race pledged allegiance to Long Hui, Chu Wanbing arranged for the women of her tribe to marry into the Dragonscale Army. These enchantresses were not only beautiful, but they also knew how to capture men's hearts. They used various methods to firmly bind these spirited men to their side, thus consolidating Long Hui's position from another perspective.

"Alright, you've all been busy all day. Have some soup first!"

Chu Wanbing smiled and handed him a bowl of nourishing soup, displaying the charm of a virtuous wife and loving mother.

"Bing'er is truly my capable helper!"

Long Hui chuckled and put his arm around her slender waist. Chu Wanbing blushed, slapped his mischievous hand away, and scolded, "Behave yourself in public."

Then, a soft, alluring glance flashed in her eyes, and she breathed softly, "When we get home, I'm at your mercy..."

Long Hui's heart immediately burned with desire, his eyes gleaming. He swallowed hard and added, "How about we invite Yi'er along too?"

Chu Wanbing gave him a coquettish glare and spat, "Should we?" "To Wutong Garden?"

Long Hui nodded repeatedly. Chu Wanbing pinched his waist and snorted, "You lecher, whatever you say. Hurry up and drink the soup, or you'll faint from hunger later... on the bed."

This girl was truly irresistible. Long Hui gulped down the nourishing soup and felt strong and energetic. He was about to explore Phoenix Nest again when he suddenly heard someone calling, "Brother Long!"

Looking closely, he saw Meng Ke rushing over. The young couple knew something was amiss, so they put away their playful mood.

Long Hui asked, "Brother Ziyu, what happened?"

Meng Ke ran up to him and said, "Brother Long, something terrible has happened! That fake Buddha is not only alive, but he has now become the head of the Buddhist sect."

Long Hui's face darkened, and Chu Wanbing frowned slightly, saying, "Young Master Meng, if I may be so bold as to ask again, is there any worse news besides this?"

Meng Ke sighed, "Sister-in-law... that fake Buddha has issued a martial arts invitation, calling high monks like the Lilou Bodhisattva 'evil Buddha,' and he has also announced the deaths of the Lilou Bodhisattva, the Water and Fire Venerable, and the Four Great Bright Kings!"

These words were like a bolt from the blue. Shattering Long Hui's elation, Meng Ke continued, "That false Buddha even set up an arena south of Muzhou, breaking countless swords to forge the arena."

Chu Wan coldly laughed, "Broken swords to build an arena? This fellow is clearly targeting Tianjian Valley. He was beaten to a pulp by Second Sister last time, yet he still dares to challenge her. He's truly forgotten his past wounds!"

Meng Ke sighed, "That evil Buddha, alas, the heads of his Four Great Bright Kings, Water and Fire Venerables, are hanging on the arena's flagpole..."

Long Hui was startled, realizing something was amiss: "Back then, Bodhisattva Lilou led the Water and Fire Venerables to hunt down the false Buddha, and now the Water and Fire Venerables..." "They've all met with misfortune. The Bodhisattva of the Li Tower is surely in grave danger. Daoist Jingchen and Pavilion Master Zong will definitely go to Crouching Tiger Forest to settle scores with that fake Buddha."

Chu Wanbing hurriedly said, "Little thief, think of something quickly! Crouching Tiger Forest must have already laid down a heavy killing array. Although the two seniors are highly skilled, they can't fight against so many opponents..."

Long Hui pondered for a moment, then looked up and said, "Bing'er, immediately have Poison Fang infiltrate Su Ming."

Chu Wanbing suddenly understood and clapped her hands, saying, "Husband, you want to strike straight at the heart of the enemy?"

Long Hui nodded, "Su Ming is closest to Muzhou, so it can be said to be the front line of Cang Shitian's army..." "The sentry post must be swarming with a large number of troops and supplies. As long as we burn their granaries, the enemy's formation will be thrown into chaos, and the killing formation in Crouching Tiger Forest will naturally break down without a fight!"

The Poison Fang elites are skilled in infiltration and assassination, using poison to spy. Although they are few in number, they are swift in action, and ordinary soldiers are no match for them. In addition, they are as fast as the wind, so encirclement and pursuit are useless. Unless a master is dispatched and ambushed in advance, it is possible to intercept and kill this elite force. However, these masters have already been transferred to the ambush in Crouching Tiger Forest, so there is no one in Su Ming who can threaten Poison Fang.

Fifty li from Muzhou City lies a Tiger-Sleeping Forest, which is now teeming with people from all sects and factions. In the center of the forest, countless broken swords are piled up like a mountain of blades, exuding a chilling aura. This is a sword-mountain arena. On one side of the arena stands a flagpole, upon which hang six human heads. These heads, treated with embalming techniques, are still lifelike, as if they had just died. Their features are still discernible. They are none other than the Water and Fire Venerables and the Four Great Kings. Above the heads hangs a string of blood-stained Buddhist beads, the relics of the Bodhisattva Lilou after her self-immolation.

Venerable Feng leaped forward, gracefully appearing before the Knife Mountain Arena. He proclaimed loudly, "Fellow martial artists, our Buddhist sect has suffered a calamity, giving birth to wicked Buddhas and scoundrels. Fortunately, the Holy Buddha descended to earth, severing these karmic obstacles. Today, we display the remains of these wicked Buddhas to serve as a warning and a reminder to future generations!"

These words immediately sparked a flurry of discussion among the crowd. Someone asked, "Master, what is the origin of these wicked Buddhas?" Venerable Feng sighed, "To my shame, these karmic obstacles were originally the Bright Kings and Venerables of the Leifeng Pagoda, and even some of them held the high rank of Bodhisattva."

This remark caused a great stir, and the crowd erupted in uproar. Venerable Feng continued, "Now, demonic forces have infiltrated every corner of the land. Whether it's the imperial court, the martial arts world, or even the Three Religions' headquarters, they have all been corrupted by demons. Even the self-proclaimed noble Heavenly Sword Valley has sided with traitors! The land is in chaos, and evil is spreading. If we do not unite, there may very well be another Holy Extreme Sect!"

"Master is right! We must unite, unite as one, and fight against the evil!"

The spy planted in the crowd immediately shouted, inciting the crowd's emotions. For a moment, the shouts were deafening, and everyone responded.

Suddenly, two powerful energies descended from the sky, carrying boundless anger and sorrow, like a whirlwind. Those who stood in their way were swept away and routed.

Venerable Feng felt an immense pressure on his body, his chest inexplicably tight, as if struck by a ten-thousand-pound hammer, making it difficult to even breathe.

When he was able to barely open his eyes, he met four cold and angry gazes, from Zong Yixiao and Jingchen.

With Lilou in ruins and his close friend dead, how could the Confucian Daoist Master sit idly by and watch his friend's belongings be insulted? Enraged, he forcefully pressed forward, vowing to avenge his friend's death.

Zong Yixiao, abandoning his former refined and gentle demeanor, suddenly grabbed Venerable Feng by the collar, swung his arm, and threw him away, displaying the fierceness of a Confucian warrior.

Venerable Feng was also quite skilled; he used the Wind-Riding Arhat Sound in mid-air, rising gracefully and stabilizing himself to avoid a tumble.

Zong Yixiao had no time to pay attention to Venerable Feng; he looked up at the blood-stained Buddhist beads, tears instantly blurring his vision. Jingchen, standing to the side, also lost his usual composure, his body trembling slightly, his fists clenched, as if suppressing a sharp, agonizing pain in his heart.

Zong Yixiao leaped high into the air, about to reach for the beads, when suddenly a purple light swept across the sky—a technique of the same origin, the Confucian Purple Qi.

"Yin Fangxi!"

Zong Yixiao roared, "Get out of my way!"

Yin Fangxi sneered, "If you have the guts, then try to get past me!"

Zong Yixiao was furious and slapped his palms three times in quick succession. Yin Fangxi responded with a cold laugh, striking back with his own palms. The two were from the same school and had similar foundations, so for a moment it was difficult to determine a winner.

Zong Yixiao's attempt to seize the pearl was thwarted, and Jingchen immediately took over the fight. Stepping on the Qiankun Gua Step, his body moved like a ladder to the clouds, instantly ascending into the air. He then spun the Tai Chi symbol, reversing the galaxy. Looking back, he saw a cultivator dressed in a dark green Taoist robe , and the martial art he was using was clearly the Heavenly Vault Mystic Technique.

Jingchen immediately understood that this was Cang Shitian's clone. This clone possessed the strength of the original body, and Jingchen dared not underestimate him. He focused his mind and held his breath, wielding his whisk and skillfully deflecting the attack.

"Who are you!"

Jingchen asked the evil god's clone with a sharp edge.

The Taoist priest snorted, "I am Shenyuan, the Protector of the Nation bestowed by the Imperial Court!"

Before him stood Shenyuan, behind whom lay an evil god. Jingchen had long known of his opponent's scheme, but exposing it now would be futile; only battle remained! Jingchen flicked his whisk, and a magnificent divine weapon rose behind him, its clanging sword light surging in all directions, forcing Shenyuan to retreat.

Shenyuan looked closely and saw that the Taoist held an ancient longsword, its blade engraved with Taoist demon-subduing incantations, and a bright pearl inlaid on the hilt. The pearl, black and white, resembled a yin-yang totem.

As an avatar of Cang Shitian, Shen Yuan was very familiar with the affairs of the Daoist sect and blurted out, "Is this the Daoist sect's innate spiritual treasure—Zhenwu?"

The most famous divine weapons within the Daoist sect were the swords Bai Hongyue and Xuan Yangfeng. Over a hundred years ago, a Daoist swordsmith devoted his life to forging a divine weapon no less powerful than the Xuanmen swords, named Zhenwu. Because this sword contained a hidden sword spirit, no one could wield it since its creation, thus its fame was not as great as Bai Hongyue and Xuan Yangfeng. It wasn't until Jing Chen appeared that Zhenwu found a suitable master. Jing

Chen drew the Zhenwu blade, launching another attack, wanting to seize the victory. Suddenly, a spell was chanted, and a mysterious, yellowish-brown power enveloped the surrounding area.

Jing Chen suddenly felt a sudden chill, and a strange, sharp pain shot through his forehead.

As an innate Daoist, he was familiar with all kinds of spells, and in an instant, he realized that he had been afflicted by a spell called the Cursed Hoop.

Jingchen suppressed the excruciating pain, his eyes scanning the surroundings to see the true face of the caster—none other than Zihe.

Zihe formed hand seals, chanting incantations, urging his energy to defeat the formidable enemy before him in one fell swoop.

Cang Shitian's avatar—Shenyuan—laughed loudly, "Outsider, prepare to die!"

As he spoke, a sharp weapon suddenly appeared, slashing towards Jingchen in a few swift motions.

This weapon was equally strange, sharpened on all four sides, with a blood-draining groove between each of the four blades. Anyone cut by it would bleed profusely, the wound difficult to heal; it was called Tianrui.

With the cursed headband binding his head and the sharp weapon threatening his life, in this moment of crisis, Jingchen roared and unleashed his power, breaking through the deadly threat. His overwhelming Daoist brilliance shook all directions. Then, he raised his hand and brandished his sword, unleashing six trigrams in one strike—water and fire, wind and thunder, mountains and lakes—a continuous barrage of six sword strikes aimed directly at Shenyuan.

The avatar of the evil god neither dodged nor evaded, but instead confronted the opponent head-on. The Heavenly Mystic Law manifested as a sword technique, and radiant karmic fire gathered in his palm, instantly unleashing a combined palm and sword strike, directly clashing with the Innate Sword Trigram.

With a deafening roar, both sides retreated several steps, their blood surging.

The Confucian and Daoist Innate Realm cultivators, their progress hampered, could only unite to stabilize their position before making further plans. However, they found themselves surrounded by various sects and factions, their escape routes completely blocked.

At this moment, Venerable Feng shouted, "Fellow Daoists, the remnants of the Evil Buddha have arrived! We must unite and not allow the demons to run rampant any longer!"

Shen Yuan also pulled out an imperial gold token, shouting, "I am the Protector of the Nation! This is a golden talisman bestowed by His Majesty! Whoever can kill the demonic Daoist and Confucian scholar before us will be immediately granted the title of First-Rank Duke, with a fief of a hundred li!"

A great reward always attracts brave men. Although these martial artists were aware of the strength of the two Innate Realm cultivators, fortune favors the bold, and disregarding the disparity in strength, they charged towards the two. The Confucian and Taoist

masters were already furious that their close friend's belongings had been publicly displayed and insulted. They knew that the incident at Crouching Tiger Forest was intentional, but they still generously attended the meeting.

The two masters stood back-to-back in their chairs, and Zong Yixiao laughed heartily, "White-haired Taoist, it seems we won't be able to leave Crouching Tiger Forest this time. Do you regret coming with me?" (Advertisement break: Still relying on your hands? How can that be enjoyable? Forum reputation guaranteed! Jingchen smiled slightly and said, "How can I allow my dear friend's belongings to fall into the hands of evil people? I have no regrets!"

Zong Yixiao recited loudly, "The three paths are severed, the strings of the confidant are broken, the crystal Buddha tower is shattered, I sadly watch the evil atmosphere in all directions, I stand up and guard my original heart!"

As soon as the poem ended, Zong Yixiao swayed his Confucian robe, and a sword surrounded by purple energy suddenly appeared. His unique divine weapon appeared in the world for the first time.

Jingchen laughed, "My friend, you've finally decided to unleash this divine weapon!"

Zong Yixiao said, "You White-haired Daoist have even brought out your trump card; my Haoque can no longer be kept hidden!"

Jingchen said jokingly, "You're a sensible scholar; if you dared to hold back today, I would stab you in the back!"

Zong Yixiao said, both amused and exasperated, "Oh dear, you White-haired Daoist are indeed cunning; I really don't know how I ever befriended you!"

Jingchen laughed, "Stop! Knowing a friend like you, who's so harmful to my health, is truly my misfortune."

The two ignored the looming danger, chatting and laughing, infuriating their surrounding enemies.

"Deeply surrounded and yet so calm, what courage!"

A familiar yet unfamiliar voice rang out, radiating Buddhist light, as if a god or Buddha had descended to earth, inspiring fear.

A monk appeared, riding on auspicious clouds, his head covered in relics, his face compassionate, and his forehead glowing with spiritual light—it was none other than the Venerable Shi, who had achieved the Great Perfection of the Buddha's Dharma Body.

Although they didn't recognize the figure before them, the two knew perfectly well that this man was the culprit who killed their friend. Without hesitation, disregarding all code of honor, they combined their swords and attacked together.

True Martial Arts and Vast Expanse, Confucianism and Taoism joined forces, yet the Venerable One remained calm. He formed hand seals, closed his eyes, and chanted scriptures. Instantly, a radiant light erupted, and six Buddhist artifacts materialized out of thin air, weaving together to form a wall of energy that blocked the Confucian and Taoist swords. Jingchen and Zong Yixiao, upon closer inspection, saw that these six artifacts were the Reincarnation Golden Wheel, the Dragon-Elephant Precept Blade, the Vajra Pestle, the Broad Dharma Cone, the Mandala Sword, and the Salvation Staff.

The two were greatly astonished. These six artifacts were treasures used by the Buddhist ancestors during the Great War of the Primordial Era to subdue demons and evil spirits. They contained boundless Buddhist spiritual power, considered sacred objects even under the Ten Directions Wisdom Mirror. Even the Heavenly Buddha himself had not been able to use them, yet now they were being wielded by this evil Buddha.

In their shock and anger, the two surged their inner energy again, their sword energy pressing forward, forcefully cleaving through the defensive barrier of qi.

The Venerable Shi remained calm, casually picking up two weapons: the Dragon-Elephant Ring Blade and the Mandala Sword.

With a resounding clang, the Dragon-Elephant Ring Blade blocked the True Martial Sword,

while the Vast Sword clashed with the Mandala. These six Buddhist weapons were divine artifacts from the Primordial Era, accompanying Buddhist saints across the world, subduing demons and monsters. Each weapon contained boundless Buddhist power, but after the patriarch's passing, these six weapons were sealed along with the Tribulation-Crossing Buddhist Essence. The Venerable Shi, after retrieving the Tribulation-Crossing Buddhist Essence, took them along with the six weapons.

The four divine weapons clashed, the Mandala Sword's hidden array suddenly activating, a massive mandala spinning and devouring most of the Confucian righteous energy, while the Dragon-Elephant Ring Blade unleashed dragon and elephant spiritual energy, with flying dragons and giant elephants roaring past, resisting Dao Hua's inner energy.

Legend has it that when Buddhism was first established, a sage drew a primitive mandala, which can be considered the origin of the Buddhist realm. The mandala sword originated from this. As for the Dragon-Elephant Precept Blade, its origin is even more extraordinary. In the past, Buddhist sages, in order to slay the giant demons and ghosts of the evil realm, forged the remains of the guardian elephant into weapon bones. Then, they obtained a dragon tooth from the Kunpeng Sage, using the dragon tooth as a blade, and finally used the Buddha Bone Forging Technique to forge the Dragon-Elephant Precept Blade.

Relying on the protection of the two great Buddhist weapons and the Buddha's Dharma body, Venerable Shi was able to fight two opponents with no shortage of strength and not be at a disadvantage.

Seeing their offensive thwarted, the Confucian and Taoist swordsmen joined forces. The Confucian scholar wanted to capture the Tathagata, while the Taoist scholar vowed to slay the evil Buddha. With the same intention, they ignited a raging battle intent and fiercely clashed with the Great Wilderness Buddhist weapons.

The two powerful internal energy techniques, Haoqi and Daohua, overwhelmed Shi Zun Zhe, forcing him to retreat repeatedly. As the three advanced and retreated, the clashing internal energies ravaged everything in their path, causing cracking sounds, shattering rocks, and flying vegetation—a truly horrifying sight.

Seeing this, Shen Yuan brandished Tianrui and charged into the fray. He unleashed his sword from all sides, slicing through the flames, and aimed directly at Zong Yixiao. Faced

with the deadly weapon of the evil god's clone, the scholar dared not be negligent. He could only turn and wield his sword, Haoque clashing with Tianrui in a dazzling display of power.

Without the threat of Zong Yixiao, Shi Zun Zhe felt much less pressure. He unleashed a flurry of swordplay from both sides, trapping his enemy with magical formations, unleashing a torrent of dragon and elephant energy, and unleashing a vast Buddhist light that threatened to devour the Daoist's pride.

Jingchen bit his tongue, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the Zhenwu Sword. His blood essence activated the sword, making it gleam brilliantly. Taiji energy surged forth, its gentle force dissolving the dragon-elephant power, its fierce energy shattering the mandala, turning the tide.

"Traitor, die!"

A sharp shout rang out, and Yin Fangxi darted in, his Heavenly Silkworm Gloves clamping down on the Zhenwu Sword. Jingchen cried out in alarm, urging his wrists to try and escape.

Yin Fangxi's gloves were impervious to blades and spears, unfazed by the Zhenwu Sword's full power. Coupled with his strong foundation, Jingchen would find it difficult to break free quickly.

Seeing this, the Venerable Shi flicked his robes, unleashing a powerful Dharma Cone.

Jingchen felt a gust of wind envelop his back; even before it touched him, his skin stung. This demonstrated the power of the Dharma Cone. However, entangled by Yin Fangxi, he couldn't withstand the killing intent from behind. He could only grit his teeth and activate his Hunyuan Dao Embryo for protection. But the most deadly thing was that Yin Fangxi's Purple Yang True Qi continuously attacked his body, forcing him to expend half his power to resist.

Seeing his close friend in danger, Zong Yixiao gritted his teeth, his sword flashing as he deliberately created an opening. Shen Yuan, without hesitation, thrust his sword forward. Crimson blood splattered as Tianrui pierced Zong Yixiao's right shoulder, blood gushing from the blade's groove.

Shen Yuan was surprised by the ease with which he succeeded. Suddenly, purple energy surged, and a scorching heat wave rushed towards him. Zong Yixiao, enduring excruciating pain, struck with a palm.

Faced with Zong Yixiao's strategy of exchanging blows, Shen Yuan cursed him as a madman and immediately retreated. However, this palm strike was not powerful; it was merely a feint. Zong Yixiao's true purpose was to rescue his friend.

Zong Yixiao, having frightened Shenyuan away with a single palm strike, immediately turned and lunged at Jingchen, intercepting the Guangfa Cone with his sword. As the two divine weapons clashed, the Guangfa Cone, imbued with Buddhist power, surged forth, injuring Jingchen's right shoulder. His right hand nearly lost its grip on the Haoque sword, and the wound, now square-shaped, caused the bleeding to worsen, gushing forth a torrent of blood.

"Scholar Zong!"

Seeing his friend splattered with blood, Jingchen was consumed by rage and inner energy surged forth, recklessly channeling his power to force Yin Fangxi back.

Zong Yixiao channeled his Purple Yang Fire Force in his left hand, striking the wound with his palm to burn and stop the bleeding. A pungent, burnt smell immediately rose, and Zong Yixiao's face turned deathly pale, cold sweat pouring down his face, but he managed to barely stop the bleeding.

Jingchen grabbed Zong Yixiao, gritting his teeth, and asked, "Scholar, are you alright?"

Zong Yixiao forced a smile and simply said, "I'm alright."

Two simple words conveyed that sincerity and intimacy. Jingchen's eyes welled up with tears, and he said loudly, "Good, worthy of being my friend!"

With that, he unleashed his highest Yuan Gong, and his Daoist crown shattered, his white hair fluttered, and his angry eyes swept over the surrounding demons, scaring away all the monsters in all directions.

Zong Yixiao propped up his injured body, held a single sword across his chest, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Jingchen.

The Venerable One retrieved his Dharma Awl, slung his sword behind his back, and confidently declared, "For the sake of this mere relic of a traitor, you knowingly walk into a death trap. I truly don't know whether to mock your foolishness or praise your courage!"

Jingchen sneered, "How could such heartless and ungrateful people understand the ways of the world?"

Zong Yixiao chimed in, "Even if our bones are shattered and our flesh is destroyed, we will kill you, this false Buddha, to avenge the hatred of Liuli!" Shenyuan clapped his hands and said, "What loyal and righteous people! Although you have joined the rebels, your integrity is still admirable."

Zong Yixiao spat, "To hear such words from a traitor like you is an insult to me!" Yin Fangxi frowned and said: "Zong Yixiao, why do you do this? If you're willing to turn back and abandon darkness for light, Yin Fangxi, out of our past camaraderie, will surely protect your life and property!"

Zong Yixiao glanced at him, finding him genuine, and sighed, "Yin Fangxi, we are not on the same path, so let me give you a piece of advice: when the birds are all gone, we share the spoils; when the rabbit is dead, the dog is cooked. You are so diligently assisting that emperor today, but you may not have a good end in the future!" Zong Yixiao's words

were aimed directly at the evil god's clone. Shen Yuan raised his eyebrows angrily and snorted, "Fellow Daoists, quickly capture these two villains!"

Holding the imperial decree, the heroes swarmed forward. The Confucian and Daoist innate masters unleashed their powerful moves, fearless of their impending exhaustion, all for the sake of loyalty and righteousness.

In the fierce battle against the heroes, the two swords flashed wildly, killing as many as they could. However, the three innate masters of the enemy were waiting for an opportunity to strike, leaving the two struggling to defend themselves, their blood spilling in the Crouching Tiger Forest.

Even when facing imminent death, the righteous spirit of the Daoists remained undiminished, and the pride of the Confucian scholars remained unbroken. Their hearts were filled only with hatred for their dearest friends; the clash of swords and the flash of blades could not extinguish the loyalty and righteousness of humanity.

Those who were bloodthirsty charged forward recklessly, shouting, "Unite as one, slay the demons!"

"Slay the demons? That sounds nice, but the real evil is that hypocritical Buddhist supreme!"

An elegant and pure voice suddenly rang out, like ethereal celestial music, suppressing the shouts of the crowd. Instantly, ten thousand swords appeared in the sky, and two graceful figures rode on them—it was Yu Xiuting and her daughter Wei Xuexin. The

two sword immortals, one large and one small, each possessed their own unique style. Their sudden appearance stunned the entire scene. Their powerful sword intent spread in all directions; not only the swords, but even other weapons reacted strangely, as if mortals were worshipping immortals. Yu

Xiuting's beautiful eyes were as cold as ice as she surveyed the crowd. Everyone felt as if a thousand swords were pressing down on them, sending chills down their spines. They couldn't help but look away, none daring to meet her gaze directly.

Venerable Feng used his Zen Mind Technique to barely suppress his shock, swallowing hard as he said, "Witch, how dare you barge in like this! You clearly disregard all the heroes of the world!"

Yu Xiuting sneered, "Stop pretending. You set up this arena precisely to lure me out. Now I have done as you wished. Use whatever tricks you have, and I, Yu Xiuting, will take them all!"

A black-robed swordsman angrily drew his sword and shouted, "Yu Xiuting, you have willingly fallen so low, associating with demons and evil spirits. You are truly a disgrace to us swordsmen!" As

one man drew his sword, many others followed suit, their blades unsheathed. They wanted to seize this opportunity to swarm forward. Even if they couldn't harm Yu Xiuting, just forcing this sword immortal back a few steps would make them famous throughout the world.

Yu Xiuting's eyebrows twitched, and she lightly brushed the sleeve of her black robe with her right index and middle fingers, as if flicking off dust. This seemingly casual gesture caused the arrogant scoundrels to cower, their arrogance instantly vanishing, replaced by a strange sense of awe.

"The sword is the gentleman among weapons. You cannot distinguish right from wrong; what right do you have to wield a sword!"

Yu Xiuting's elegant and serene voice rang out. Those who had intended to challenge the Sword Immortal's majesty immediately lost their grip on their swords. A strange force pulled their swords, causing them to tremble violently, and they instantly slipped from their hands, embedding themselves upside down in the ground, as if paying homage to the immortal sword.

Upon seeing Yu Xiuting again, the Venerable One's anger surged. His monk's robe fluttered without wind, his fighting spirit rising, vowing to wash away his shame.

Yu Xiuting coldly stared at the Holy Buddha's body, her lips curving slightly: "You actually managed to survive the Heavenly Vermilion Mark and even master the sacred Buddhist methods. I truly wonder if Heaven is blind!"

Venerable Shi sneered: "Thank you. I was born in accordance with the will of Heaven to restore Buddhism and usher in a new golden age of the true Dharma!" Yu Xiuting gave an "oh" and smiled faintly: "Since you have been reborn through Nirvana, you should choose a better Dharma name. Don't be like before, stealing other people's names."

Venerable Shi's face darkened, and he said indifferently: "Since you have been reborn, you should establish a new Buddhist name. From this day forward, I will call you Mara!" Yu

Xiuting raised her eyebrows and said coldly: "My Heavenly Sword Valley reveres the sword, yet Master Mara has broken his sword and set up a challenge..." "This is clearly a blatant disgrace to our sect in front of all the heroes of the world! If this matter isn't resolved, Yu Xiuting will not let it go!"

The Venerable Shi's monk robes fluttered, and he leaped onto the arena, snorting, "That day, the Valley Master forcibly stormed the Imperial City, and I, being inferior in skill, was defeated by the Valley Master's sword. Today, I have set up this arena to wash away that shame."

Yu Xiuting remained fearless, calmly asking, "Is this a one-on-one duel?"

The Venerable Shi replied, "Indeed!"

Yu Xiuting asked, "What will happen to the winner, and what will happen to the loser?"

The Venerable Shi said, "If the Valley Master wins, I will allow the four of you to leave safely!"

Suddenly, a dragon's roar shook the heavens, and a phoenix's cry echoed through the nine heavens. The dragon and phoenix

figures pressed in, and it was Long Hui and Chu Wanbing who arrived hand in hand. Chu Wanbing's alluring eyes swept across the crowd, and all who met her gaze felt their bones go weak, their steely fingers twisted, and their weapons fell to the ground.

The Venerable One was filled with rage, wishing he could tear the demoness before him to pieces. It was this very demoness who had severed his manhood that day. Because this old wound was inflicted before the Holy Buddha's Dharma Body was perfected, it was irreparable, and he was now powerless to comprehend the Joyful Meditation.

Upon appearing, Long Hui sneered several times, saying bluntly, "Bullshit! You scoundrel murdered the Bodhisattva of the Lilou and a group of eminent monks, even displaying their severed heads and belongings to humiliate the dead. Do you think you can just leave unscathed and let it all go?"

The Venerable One withdrew his hateful gaze from Chu Wanbing, coldly glaring at Long Hui: "What do you want!"

Chu Wanbing interjected, "My husband's intention is to increase the conditions for victory!"

Her voice, like a nightingale's song, sweet and charming, was pleasant to hear, but the Venerable One was consumed by rage, gritting his teeth.

Shen Yuan remained calm, knowing that Long Hui intended to challenge him. However, in front of all the sects, if he didn't accept the challenge, his prestige would be jeopardized. He immediately asked, "What conditions do you intend to set?"

Long Hui snorted, "If we lose, we must hand over the four cities of Muzhou, Liucheng, Nanli, and Xinghu." Four cities as a wager—a high-stakes gamble—tempted Shen Yuan, who asked, "Is this true?"

Long Hui declared loudly, "A gentleman's word is his bond! I, Long, dare to make this promise to all the heroes of the world, and I will certainly abide by it!"

Shen Yuan pulled out his imperial edict token and nodded, "Very well. Before leaving the capital, His Majesty ordered me to take full responsibility for this matter. I, Shen Yuan, accept the wager!"

Knowing Shen Yuan's identity, the Venerable Shi dared not say more, letting Shen Yuan negotiate.

Yin Fangxi, seeing the imperial edict token, also dared not speak, standing quietly to the side.

Long Hui snorted, "Don't rush, listen to all the conditions before you agree!"

Shen Yuan sneered, "Just name your conditions!"

Long Hui said, word by word, "If we win, we must return the remains of the Water and Fire Venerables, the Four Great Kings, and the relics of the Glass Tower Bodhisattva."

Shen Yuan nodded without hesitation.

Long Hui added, "Besides that, you, Shen Yuan, and Bo Xun must kneel and kowtow to the remains!"

Upon hearing this, both Shi Zun and Shen Yuan's expressions changed.

Shen Yuan wished he could tear Long Hui to pieces, but he had already made his promise, and going back on his word now would only make him a laughingstock. However, he couldn't afford to lose, so he resorted to a clever trick: "This matter is of great importance. A single victory or defeat won't convince all the heroes of the world. Let's decide the winner based on the results of multiple rounds!"

He wanted to use his numerical advantage to wear down Long Hui's side. Just as he was making his wishful thinking, he heard a disdainful sneer: "Pah! If just anyone goes up to the arena, how long will it take? Want to go up to the arena?" "Those who are going to the platform, please cross this line first!"

Before the words were finished, a burst of energy swept across the air, carving a deep gash outside the broken sword arena and creating a ten-zhang-wide arc. Immediately afterward, the ground trembled, and those with insufficient cultivation were thrown to the ground. After the heroes regained their footing, they discovered that an iron rod was stuck upside down in the ground within the arc, and a thick arm was holding the iron rod. The man was dressed in tattered clothes, unkempt and slovenly, with a wine gourd at his waist. It was none other than Yuan Qitian, the Great Elder of the Demon Clan.

Venerable Feng shouted, "You demon monkey, what are you doing here!"

Yuan Qitian sneered, "Just here to watch the show. The battle between innate masters is supposed to be intense, but if some clowns come up to fight, the show loses its luster!"

Venerable Feng was furious at Yuan Qitian's obvious attempt to disrupt the proceedings. He roared, "Arrogant monster! How dare you run wild here? This arena was set up by us, and anyone has the right to go up!"

Yuan Qitian spat and sneered, "Right? Heh heh, whoever can withstand one blow from my staff, go up!"

He picked up his tungsten iron staff and casually tapped the ground, looking like he was ready to provoke him. Although the monkey's expression was arrogant, each tap caused the ground to shake. Such immense power meant that even a slight touch would take away half a life, let alone a blow. Without an innate master to back him up, who would dare to challenge him?

Venerable Feng thought to himself, "No matter how powerful you are, you can't cover everything from other directions. Let others jump onto the arena from different places, and I don't believe you can stop them!"

He had already made up his mind. Once the people below jumped onto the arena, it would only be one-on-one. If Yuan Qitian dared to interfere, he would immediately call everyone to swarm him. There were over ten thousand people here; even the strongest would expend their true energy in a group fight. Then the three Great Innate Realm experts would seize the opportunity to eliminate Long Hui and the others.

Yuan Qitian seemed to have anticipated his thoughts. He chuckled, picked his ear, and said, "Bing girl, you and your sister each guard a corner. Anyone who dares to come in and ruin things, just stab them to death with your sword!"

Chu Wanbing smiled sweetly, "Okay, Uncle Yuan, don't worry."

Wei Xuexin smiled, drew her Time Sword, and guarded one side of the arc.

At this moment, Zong Yixiao walked over carrying Hao Que and said, "Although I am injured, I can still defend one side."

With four great masters present and the agreement made beforehand, Shen Yuan could no longer play tricks. At this moment, there was no excuse. If he did not accept the challenge, his prestige would be completely destroyed, and the various martial arts sects that he had painstakingly gathered would become disloyal.

"Alright, then let's have three against three!"

Shen Yuan agreed.

Long Hui squinted and smiled, "Then who are your chosen fighters?"

Shen Yuan said, "Naturally, it's Grand Tutor Yin, this humble Taoist, and Master Bo Xun!"

Long Hui chuckled, "In that case, please have your experts step up to defend the arena!"

Arena battles are divided into defending the arena and challenging the arena. This Broken Sword Arena was set up by the Venerable Shi. If their side wants to defend the arena, they must accept the challenges from the people below the arena. Only by winning can they successfully defend the arena.

Long Hui pulled Jing Chen and Yu Xiuting aside and said in a telepathic voice, "We're sure to win this battle!"

Yu Xiuting frowned and replied, "How can you be so sure?"

Long Hui smiled and said, "It's because they are the defenders of the arena that they have to go up first. We can then arrange the order of the battles according to their defenders."

Yu Xiuting raised her eyebrows and asked for details with interest.

Long Hui said, "That thieving monk is determined to fight the Valley Master and avenge himself, so we won't let him have his way. The Valley Master is dealing with Yin Fangxi, so our victory is already assured. As for Shen Yuan, he's an avatar of Cang Shitian. He'll definitely think I can't suppress my family grudges and will fight him to the death. I think Cang Shitian will never let this opportunity pass, and he'll even sacrifice an avatar to severely injure me. So I don't plan to fight him either. With Master Jingchen's Xuanmen martial arts, which uses softness to overcome hardness and strikes after the opponent has moved, I believe Shen Yuan won't be able to do anything to the Master. We just need to drag this out to a draw. And I'll deal with that..." "Bo Xun, using the Heavenly Power-Borrowing Technique, can absolutely avoid defeat."

Cang Shitian is extremely efficient, always weighing the costs and benefits of his actions. Severely injuring Long Hui would maximize the damage to the Jiangnan rebels, so sacrificing a hard-won clone is worthwhile. It's only natural that Long Hui avoids the main threat. When facing Jing Chen, Cang Shitian has no intention of sacrificing a clone. Furthermore, with Jing Chen possessing the Primordial Dao Embryo, Cang Shitian has no chance of defeating this Dao Sect Innate without a desperate fight. As for Venerable Shi, although Long Hui doesn't know his abilities after his rebirth, he will definitely not lose by using the Heavenly Power-Borrowing Technique.

Therefore, the outcome of this fierce battle is already clear. Yu Xiuting understands this crucial point and can't help but nod in approval.

"General, I have a request,"

Jingchen suddenly said. "I must fight that false Buddha to the death!"

Long Hui was taken aback and frowned. "Master, please forgive my rudeness, but that false Buddha holds a high position in the three religions and is already familiar with the martial arts of the Daoist sect. Now, he has been reborn through a fortuitous encounter. I'm afraid you will not be able to gain the upper hand against him."

Jingchen smiled and said, "General, your troop deployment is just right, but I also have my own principles."

Jingchen paused, slowly raised his head, looked at the string of blood-stained Buddhist beads, and said word by word, "The three of us have been friends for many years. Although our doctrines are different, we are of one mind and are close friends. We are like brothers. Today, no matter what, I must personally retrieve those Buddhist beads..."

Tears welled up in his eyes as he finished speaking.

Yu Xiuting sighed and said, "Long Hui, the Daoist has made up his mind, so let's not force it. Let's change the order of the fight so that I deal with Cang Shitian and you take care of Yin Fangxi."

Long Hui pondered for a moment and then resolutely said, "No need. The Daoist's words have reminded me that I will not entrust the revenge of a close friend to others, and similarly, I will personally avenge the extermination of a family. No matter how many clones Cang Shitian has, I will destroy them all and then tear his true body to pieces!"

Chapter Fourteen: Three Kneels to Apologize

"Yin Fangxi is here, who will give him pointers!"

With a loud shout, purple energy spread across the broken sword arena. Yin Fangxi moved with ease, his feet lightly stepping on the sword blades, completely composed.

Yu Xiuting raised her eyebrows slightly, her skirt fluttering, transforming into a celestial breeze, gently lifting up thousands of broken swords that instantly shone with cold light, as if rekindling their vitality.

"I pay my respects!"

Yu Xiuting uttered softly, her hands forming a sword incantation. Controlling her sword with her inner energy, the broken swords and fragments on the ground trembled. The arena, originally intended to humiliate Tianjian Valley, instantly transformed into a sharp blade in the hands of a sword immortal. Sharp edges poured forth, sword shadows crisscrossed, and even before the blade touched the skin, the pain was excruciating.

Yin Fangxi, clad in Heavenly Silkworm Silk, fearlessly met the sharp sword light with his palm. His Purple Yang True Qi circulated throughout his body, forming a solid defensive line, like a surging furnace,

instantly turning flying swords within a ten-step radius into molten iron. Yu Xiuting flicked her slender finger, and the Dragon Thunder sword was drawn. The intense Yang energy transformed the sword into a long chain of molten iron, adding another layer of cunning to Yu Xiuting's swordsmanship. The Dragon Thunder sword seemed to play like a dragon in water, darting left and right, constantly piercing the blind spots of the Purple Yang True Qi, forcing Yin Fangxi to retreat step by step.

Yin Fangxi channeled his inner energy into his dantian, instantly enveloping his feet in a thick protective shield against the sharp blades beneath. He then assumed a stance, lowered his waist, and focused his inner energy into his palm. A purple flame ignited in his palm, a testament to Yin Fangxi's ultimate technique—the Boundless Vast Palm.

Although Yu Xiuting had witnessed this palm technique before, she remained cautious. Using her swordsmanship to analyze her opponent's moves, she quickly realized this technique was different from before. Yin Fangxi's palm strike appeared powerful, but it concealed three-tenths of its strength, combined with two variations. Even if she won by directly confronting him, she would expend a significant amount of her true energy.

Now, deep in the lion's den, she couldn't afford to lose her strength lightly. With this thought firmly in mind, Yu Xiuting transformed her sword into a dragon, and under her swordsmanship's control, the dark red light deftly avoided Yin Fangxi's palm strike, aiming directly for his lower body.

With a resounding clang, the broken sword beneath Yin Fangxi's feet shattered completely. To unleash his powerful palm strike, he had to adopt a stance with his back slightly bent, which ironically made his steps heavier, causing him to lose his footing and become uncontrollable. "

Damn it!" Yin Fangxi cursed inwardly, gathering his energy to try and leap into the air. However, Yu Xiuting was one step ahead, her Yan Ting sword slashing down, completely blocking his path. Left

with no choice, Yin Fangxi could only raise his palms to meet the attack head-on. His silk gloves protected his bare hands, but his suspended lower body couldn't withstand the overwhelming sword energy. Yu Xiuting forcefully pressed him down, and he fell to the ground. Yin Fangxi—defeated! Yu Xiuting had cleverly and skillfully avoided direct confrontation, achieving victory with minimal cost, living up to her reputation as a sword immortal.

A hush fell over the entire arena. The onlookers were stunned. Although Yu Xiuting was renowned throughout the land, Yin Fangxi was also one of the leaders of the three branches of the Confucian school. They had expected a fierce martial arts duel, but Yu Xiuting hadn't even broken a sweat before knocking Yin Fangxi off the stage. Yu

Xiuting sheathed her sword and said with a smile, "Grand Tutor Yin, I admit defeat!"

Yin Fangxi's face turned ashen. Although he was unwilling, the result was undeniable, and he could only retreat with a flick of his sleeve.

"Valley Master Yu is indeed formidable. We concede defeat in the first round!"

Venerable Bo Xun shouted loudly, then leaped onto the stage, his monk's robe billowing as he assumed a stance to challenge.

"Which expert would like to come up and challenge me?"

Bo Xun glanced at the crowd below for a moment and said calmly.

Jingchen snorted angrily, raised his Zhenwu Sword, and leaped onto the arena. Stepping on the sharp blade, he pointed his sword at his enemy: "False Buddha, today I will make you pay the price!"

Bo Xun laughed loudly: "What a fearless white-haired heretic! Since that's the case, I will grant you the right to settle the score for Liulizi!"

The Buddha and the Daoist clashed. One had a series of fortuitous encounters, his Dharma body was indestructible, and he was at the height of his power. The other had a close friend who was filled with hatred, his Daoist heart was filled with grief and anger, and he vowed to kill the demon Buddha. Different thoughts, but the same fighting spirit. As their true essence gathered, they began their martial duel again.

Bo Xun made the first move. He stretched out his palm and the Du'e Zen Staff appeared. His staff technique was pure and varied, with three parts unpredictability and seven parts fierceness hidden within.

With a flick of his whisk, Jingchen caught the sword hilt, then unleashed a flurry of sword energy, creating a dazzling display of sword blossoms and sharp glints that overwhelmed the eye. This move, the Flying Meteor Sword Technique of the Xuanzong School, was unleashed like a meteor shower, relentlessly attacking the enemy without giving them a chance to breathe.

The Zen staff clashed with the Xuan sword, each employing their skills, and after thirty rounds, neither showed a clear victor. Bo Xun, his mind sharp, activated his Heavenly Eye, his Buddha-eyes blazing, his mind clear as a lamp, immediately spotting a blind spot in Jingchen's swordplay.

Although Jingchen's swordplay was fast, its frenzied pace inevitably led to a lack of stamina. The pseudo-Buddha, his mind shifting, drastically changed his staff technique, simplifying the complex, and skillfully slashed at Jingchen's waist.

Jingchen was startled; this was precisely the point where the Flying Meteor Sword Technique was launched. If struck in the ribs, the swordplay would be rendered unsustainable.

In desperation, Jingchen used the Illusionary Steps and the Qiankun Technique to evade the heavy blow from the monk's staff. He then conjured dozens of afterimages, attacking the false Buddha and demonic monk from multiple directions.

The afterimages were indistinguishable from reality, and with each step Jingchen took, the surrounding air pressure became more turbulent, making it impossible for Bo Xun to open his eyes. This move, called the Ultimate Void, used footwork and movement to stir up the airflow around the enemy, depriving them of their sight.

Despite his obstructed vision, Bo Xun remained calm. He closed his eyes, focused his energy on his ears, and activated his Heavenly Ear, clearly hearing Jingchen's breathing and heartbeat. Because of this, he instantly locked onto Jingchen's location, flicked his monk's robe, and shot the Guangfa Cone towards the southeast.

The sword and cone clashed, instantly shattering Jingchen's ultimate move. The illusory form vanished simultaneously. Bo Xun laughed, circulating the Tathagata Heart Sutra. The Guangfa Cone, seemingly summoned, began to relentlessly attack Jingchen as if it had a life of its own.

Jingchen wielded his sword to protect himself, his sword energy transforming into a Tai Chi totem, using softness to overcome hardness, and hardness to overcome skill, combining softness and hardness to repel the Guangfa Cone.

Bo Xun coldly snorted, swinging his staff horizontally. The staff's force dispersed the Tai Chi diagram in two, and the cone seized the opportunity to thrust, breaking through the Tai Chi sword circle. Jingchen

changed his move swiftly, his energy flowing like the Kan trigram. His sword intent was like water, first slicing through the staff's force, then engulfing the sharp energy of the cone.

Having averted the immediate crisis, Jingchen's sword unleashed a thunderous aura, a fierce lightning strike sweeping towards Bo Xun.

Bo Xun neither dodged nor evaded, using his holy Buddha body to meet the attack head-on. The indestructible lightning sword energy failed to harm him in the slightest.

Having blocked the sword energy, Bo Xun dared not test the True Martial Sword's edge with his own body. He immediately summoned the Reincarnation Golden Wheel, its golden light dazzling. As the wheel spun, the True Martial Sword was blocked three feet away.

His attack thwarted, Jing Chen's anger intensified. His raging resentment transformed into a blazing fire, and the Innate Absolute Hexagram unleashed wind and fire once more. He simultaneously unleashed the Sun Flame and the Wind Net's Arrogant Wind.

The Wind Wind sword energy restrained the wheel's rotation, while the Fire Qi clashed with the golden light. The Reincarnation Golden Wheel was deflected by Jing Chen's sword, but after breaking through the obstacle, the wind and fire sword technique had lost eighty percent of its power, easily intercepted by the Holy Buddha's Dharma Body.

Seeing that Jing Chen's old power was exhausted and his new energy had not yet arisen, Bo Xun immediately struck with the Great Brahma Holy Seal. Jing Chen could not retreat in time and could only use his Primordial Dao Embryo to receive the attack.

A Buddha's palm was imprinted on his chest, and the Daoist embryo's balance of strength and gentleness immediately circulated to ensure its preservation. However, Jingchen had only launched a few attacks, and the true energy he used for defense was relatively weak. Bo Xun, on the other hand, possessed six great Buddhist artifacts and an inner Dharma body. His previous defensive maneuver had not consumed much energy, so his palm strike remained as fierce as ever. With the balance shifting, Jingchen was at a disadvantage, his lungs injured by the blow, and he coughed up blood.

Jingchen used his internal energy to suppress the pain, regained his footing, and turned to attack again. He unleashed the Eight Absolute Trigrams in turn, while Bo Xun remained fearless. The six great Buddhist artifacts took turns appearing, and with the guidance of his internal Buddhist essence, these six artifacts became like an extension of his body, as easy and effortless as his limbs.

Jingchen's sword drew in wind and thunder, and his palm stirred up water and fire, while Bo Xun only needed a thought to use his staff to stabilize the wind, his Dharma cone to evade the lightning, his golden wheel to extinguish the fire, and his vajra pestle to repel the water, breaking through Jingchen's trigram sword. Bo Xun then grabbed the vajra pestle and slammed it into Jingchen's chest.

The magical artifact and the Dharma body complemented each other, amplifying their power. Jingchen could only hold his sword horizontally to his chest, blocking the impact of the vajra, but even he was shaken so badly that his internal energy was disordered, and he was forced to retreat repeatedly.

Bo Xun pressed his advantage, increasing the force of his wrist, and the vajra continued to exert pressure, bending the Zhenwu sword. If it were an ordinary weapon, it would have been broken long ago, but thanks to the resilience of the Zhenwu sword, Jingchen was able to gain a moment's respite.

The greatest advantage of Taoist techniques is their long-lasting aftereffects, nourishing the meridians, and the speed of energy recovery is unparalleled among the three religions. With a single breath, Jingchen's true energy was replenished. He incorporated the Tai Chi Silk Hand technique into his swordsmanship. With a twist of his wrist, he skillfully deflected the vajra, causing it to lose its aim, and then the Zhenwu sword began to draw circles.

Bo Xun felt that with each circle his opponent drew, the vajra in his hand became heavier. After Jingchen had spun it three or five times, the vajra weighed as much as ten thousand pounds.

With a sudden, powerful strike, Jingchen's sword transformed from softness to hardness, and with a clang, the vajra was immediately knocked from his hand.

"False Buddha—Give me your life!"

After cleaving the vajra, Jingchen countered with a flurry of attacks, his sword aimed upwards at Bo Xun's neck. In

that split second, Bo Xun forced out his protective magic weapon, the Reincarnation Golden Wheel, which floated in mid-air, blocking his neck. The True Martial Sword missed its mark again.

Bo Xun sneered, "I am a divinely ordained Buddha, how dare you heretics disrespect me!"

With his hands behind his back, in the blink of an eye, the vajra that had fallen to the ground flew back, slamming into Jingchen's dantian with a thud.

Fortunately, his Primordial Dao Embryo protected him, sparing Jingchen from the catastrophic loss of his cultivation by rupturing his dantian, but inflicting further internal injuries.

Having succeeded in his counterattack, Mara's Dharma Body unleashed his magical weapons. The Vast Dharma Cone moved like a snake, cunningly pressing forward; the Crossing-the-Calamity Staff shattered mountains and broke through prisons with its powerful and sweeping movements; the Reincarnation Golden Wheel spun and drew in, restraining Jingchen's movements. Meanwhile, the Vajra Pestle flew through the air, providing a powerful assist. Even with Jingchen

's strong foundation, he was forced into a disadvantageous position, feeling increasingly clumsy. The fierce battle reached a fever pitch, the surging energy destroying most of the broken sword arena, creating billowing dust and shaking the earth. The two, blinded by rage, disregarded whether they landed or not, continuing to fight. Spectators couldn't tell who touched the ground first, only that the battle was dazzling and spectacular, and both sides couldn't help but cheer and applaud.

In the ensuing struggle, the advantages of the Holy Dharma Body gradually became apparent. Mara's protective energy was thick and powerful, impervious to blades and spears. Even if injured, he could instantly recover, at most only his clothes would tear. Moreover, the Buddha's power within his Crossing-the-Calamity Buddha Essence was extremely abundant; the fiercer the battle, the longer his inner energy became, seemingly tireless. Jingchen, on the other hand, found his energy steadily weakening.

While the Taoist's internal energy recovery techniques are powerful, they are far inferior to the boundless residual power and indestructible defense of the Holy Buddha's Dharma Body. Furthermore, Mara, empowered by his magical artifacts, surpasses Taoists in recovery, defense, and attack.

Mara spread his hands, instantly grasping the Dragon-Elephant Ring Blade and the Mandala Sword. He combined his swords and blades in a fierce attack to kill Jingchen.

Knowing that a prolonged battle would be disadvantageous, Jingchen pushed his internal energy to its limit, sweeping his sword horizontally to parry two weapons with a single blade. His immense inner energy surged forth, the Eight Trigrams of the Primordial Heaven converging into a single move. Compared to this, Mara's internal energy held a clear advantage. The Holy Buddha's Dharma Body's endless inner energy relentlessly pressed down, causing Jingchen to cough up blood again.

"Evil path, I will send you to join Liulizi!"

Mara wielded his swords and blades, aided by the four great Buddhist artifacts. Jingchen felt his sword unable to extend, his body wracked with pain, and countless bloodstains appeared.

"Daoist Master!"

Long Hui was anxious and was about to rush into the battle to save Jing Chen, but Shen Yuan stepped forward to block his way, saying threateningly, "The two of you landed at the same time, and the outcome is still undecided. The battle should continue. If you dare to interfere, you will be violating the fairness of the competition. Don't blame me for disregarding the code of the martial world and leading a group to attack!"

Long Hui raised his eyebrows angrily and was about to make a move, but Zong Yixiao pulled him back and whispered, "General Long, please let Bai Mao Dao enjoy this battle to the fullest. Otherwise, he will regret it for the rest of his life."

Long Hui sighed and had to suppress his emotions, but he had already made up his mind that if the situation became unfavorable, he would immediately take action to rescue Jing Chen. He refused to believe that the five innate masters plus the Ice and Snow Twin Swords could not defeat this Crouching Tiger Forest.

The battle gradually became unbalanced. Jing Chen's Daoist robe was stained with blood, and his eyes revealed his indomitable spirit and unwillingness. Bo Xun pursued him with his sword and blade, using both hands to break through Zhen Wu's defense, and then struck Jing Chen's Zhongdan with an elbow strike.

Jingchen's Qi Sea stagnated, his true energy dissipated by three-tenths, and he vomited blood. But the blood feud with his close friend remained in his heart. Suppressing his internal injuries, he angrily raised his sword and slashed down at Bo Xun's head.

Bo Xun immediately summoned his Reincarnation Golden Wheel to protect his crown, then kicked Jingchen in the chest, sending him flying.

Jingchen fell to the ground, blood spilling from his mouth and nose. Bo Xun laughed triumphantly, "Gentlemen, the battle is over..." "Shut up! I have not been defeated!"

Before he could finish saying the battle was over, a firm voice interrupted him. Jingchen planted his sword on the ground and slowly stood up. Although his Daoist robes were stained with blood, he remained unyielding.

Bo Xun snorted, "I'll see how long you can last!"

With that, he swept his Dragon Elephant Ring Blade out. Jingchen blocked with his sword, but although he blocked the blade's edge, he could not defend against its energy. Coupled with the depletion of his true energy, his Primordial Dao Embryo could no longer sustain itself, further aggravating his injuries.

Despite repeated blows, his fighting spirit refused to falter. To slay the demon Buddha, to avenge his friend, Zhenwu pursued the killing relentlessly, caring not for the future. He gripped Bo Xun's pulse point with one hand, then delivered a powerful headbutt to Bo Xun's forehead. Caught off guard

by the sudden impact, Bo Xun was unable to activate his Dharma body and magical artifacts, and was struck dizzily, his head bleeding profusely, his holy Dharma body splattered with blood for the first time.

Jingchen was also shaken by the force, his angry brows instantly stained crimson, his white hair turning crimson, but his unwavering will remained steadfast.

The moment Bo Xun met those eyes, a nameless fear gripped him, and he immediately drew his Mandala Sword, intending to slay the vengeful seeker.

Unexpectedly, Jingchen was faster, locking his other hand. With his sword and blades clamped, Bo Xun immediately used his mind to control the other four Buddhist weapons, which automatically flew to surround Jingchen.

Jingchen exhausted his last breath of true energy, gathering his Primordial Dao Embryo to block the Buddhist weapons, then repeatedly struck with his knees, causing Bo Xun's breathing to become disordered and leaving him in a sorry state.

"Damn it!"

Bo Xun roared in fury, his inner energy surging wildly as he forcefully broke free from Jingchen's grip. He brandished his sword, intending to kill his enemy.

Jingchen's cold brows twitched, his white hair fluttering. He controlled his sword with his inner energy, the blade trembling, even faster than the sword and blades, seizing the initiative in one move. Bo Xun had no choice but to switch from defense to offense, using his sword and blades to protect and seal Zhenwu.

Jingchen's eyes widened in rage. Ignoring his injuries, he unleashed his inner energy, increasing the force of his wrists, forcefully pressing down, forcing Bo Xun to his knees.

Suddenly, Jingchen lifted his foot and kicked Bo Xun hard in the chest, sending him flying several feet away.

Protected by the Buddha's body, Mara felt only pain, not injury, but was deeply humiliated. The moment he raised his head, he saw Jingchen walking towards him step by step. Though slow, the movement instilled a strange fear in him.

Mara roared and rolled away, striking out with his palm. The force of the palm struck Jingchen from a distance. Jingchen neither dodged nor evaded, letting the force hit him. Forcing Mara to kneel had already exhausted his inner strength, and now he could no longer maintain his Primordial Dao Embryo. His internal organs were injured, and blood flowed freely, but his resolute body remained standing, step by step walking towards him.

Mara relentlessly unleashed a barrage of fierce palm strikes, which Jingchen absorbed without hesitation. Each strike stained the yellow sand with blood, leaving bloody marks on the ground, a testament to the Daoist's unwavering will.

After unleashing several palm strikes, for some unknown reason, Mara experienced a hallucination, as if he saw the Bodhisattva of the Glass Pavilion walking towards him. His mind froze, and in his shock, he couldn't catch his breath, his true energy stagnating. Just then, Jingchen seemed to be possessed by a god, rushing to Mara's side in a few strides, raising his sword high, and angrily slashing at the Demon Buddha's head.

Mara's Dharma body protected itself, his head unfazed by the True Martial's edge, but the sword's force was so powerful that it forced him to his knees.

"The first kneeling is to apologize to Bodhisattva Weituo!"

Jingchen said coldly, his calm tone exuding an irresistible authority.

The sect leader kneeling, an unbelievable humiliation, Mara tried to rise in anger, but Jingchen struck again, slashing the Demon Buddha down hard.

"The second kneel, to repent to my friend Liulizi!"

Protected by his Dharma body and empowered by his magical artifacts, Bo Xun's defenses were astonishing. He survived two sword strikes without a scratch, though he was covered in dust, disheveled, and utterly humiliated. However, the most shameful thing was yet to come.

Jingchen shouted, "The third kneel, to kowtow to those you killed!"

With a swift movement, Jingchen placed his left hand on the back of Bo Xun's head and pressed down, causing Bo Xun to fall headfirst to the ground, his forehead hitting the earth with a thud, creating a large crater, his entire head sinking into the soil.

Although Bo Xun was not seriously injured, the repeated humiliations overwhelmed him with rage, and he fainted from sheer anger. However, his magical artifacts spontaneously protected their master, detaching from his body and suspending in mid-air, forming a wall of Buddhist energy. His Dharma body responded in kind, and the two simultaneously protected Bo Xun's physical body.

To outsiders, it was utterly humiliating and laughable that the supreme Buddhist monk had been forced to kneel three times and then forced to face the ground like an ostrich with his head buried in the dirt.

However, Jingchen had exhausted his true energy and was too weak to continue. His vision went black and he was about to collapse when Zong Yixiao rushed over to support him.

Long Hui immediately shouted, "Two out of three battles have been won, the outcome is decided! Quickly return the remains and relics of the Buddhas!"

Shen Yuan's face turned ashen. With a flick of his sleeve, he sent over the Buddhist beads and the severed head. Long Hui gently caught the Buddhas' relics, then respectfully waved them around, chanting, "Masters, today I should have annihilated Cang Shitian's avatar, but Daoist Jingchen's health is precarious. I can only temporarily set aside this grudge. In the future, I will make Cang Shitian kneel before you all to apologize!"

Originally, according to the agreement, Shen Yuan should also kneel before the Buddhas' relics, but Long Hui was worried about Jingchen's health and did not want to force Cang Shitian too much, lest it cause a chaotic battle. So he restrained himself a bit. Seeing that Long Hui did not mention the past, Shen Yuan immediately fell silent. After all, no one could bear to kneel and kowtow.

Chu Wanbing, fully aware of Long Hui's intentions, immediately said, "Guardian Master, can we leave now according to the agreement?"

Faced with the various sects, Shen Yuan, no matter how unwilling, had to abide by the bet and could only helplessly wave his hand, saying, "Let them pass!"

The crowd immediately parted to make way, Zong Yixiao carried Jingchen on his back, and the others covered their retreat, successfully escaping from Wohu Forest.

Looking at Jingchen clinging to Zong Yixiao's back, everyone couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. His snow-white Taoist robe was stained crimson, as were his long, white hair and eyebrows.

Chu Wanbing snorted, "Master Jingchen is so badly injured, that fake Buddha must be half dead too!"

Wei Xuexin frowned, "Sister, I feel that the fake Buddha doesn't seem to be fundamentally damaged..."

Chu Wanbing was stunned for a moment, then said, "Impossible, after taking so many sword strikes from Master Jingchen, even if his protective qi is strong, he should be badly injured."

Wei Xuexin said, "Sister, I can't explain it either, but I feel something strange in my sword heart. I'm afraid that fake Buddha isn't that simple."

Yu Xiuting said, "Xuexin is right, the fake Buddha isn't seriously injured. He just knelt down repeatedly, and his anger overwhelmed him, causing him to faint."

Upon hearing this, Chu Wanbing stomped her feet in anger and scolded in a delicate voice: "Heaven has no eyes! Good people don't live long, but evil people live for a thousand years...

" Long Hui patted her small hand to soothe her emotions and said, "Bing'er, don't be angry. Today we've witnessed the true strength of that false Buddha. That wretch not only has a deep defense, but also an extremely fast energy recovery rate. Even his attack power is astonishing; he's practically flawless."

Zong Yixiao said as he walked, channeling his energy into Jingchen. "In terms of attack power, the Heavenly Sword Valley's sword energy is the best; in terms of energy recovery speed, the Xuanmen's mental cultivation method is the best; Confucian martial arts are known for their long-lasting power; and Buddhist martial arts are known for their strong protective energy. But the false Buddha seems to have combined all four advantages. Putting aside everything else, just in terms of defense and energy recovery alone, he could wear down many experts of the same level."

Everyone agreed with his words. In the fierce battle just now, Jingchen was exhausted by Bo Xun. If it weren't for his fierce blood energy supporting him, the outcome would probably have been different.

Although they had won both battles, Long Hui wasn't overly pleased. After all, the enemy hadn't suffered any fundamental damage; at most, they had only lost face. Meanwhile, his side had injured two top experts, Jing Chen and Zong Yixiao, especially Jing Chen, who would likely take at least half a year to recover. "

Fine, let's return to Muzhou first and then make further plans!" Long Hui sighed inwardly, leading his group towards Muzhou. Just past the beacon tower, they saw a swirling storm over Muzhou city, lightning flashing, and the earth's veins subtly trembling.

Yu Xiuting stared intently for a moment, noticing something amiss, and cried out, "The spiritual energy within Muzhou city seems to be dissipating! Something terrible is about to happen!"

Long Hui's heart tightened, and he quickly traveled, transforming into a dragon and rushing towards Muzhou city.

Upon entering the city, Long Hui immediately felt the surrounding spiritual energy was extremely chaotic, realizing the formation might have malfunctioned. He immediately headed towards the location where the ultimate spiritual artifacts were stored.

The ultimate artifact of Muzhou was hidden in the local earth god temple in the west of the city. Normally a bustling place with many worshippers, it was a perfect hiding place.

But today, however, it was heavily guarded, with weapons everywhere. The moment Long Hui appeared, the soldiers pointed their weapons at him, only making way after recognizing his face.

Long Hui hurried inside. The artifact was hidden beneath the earth god statue, but upon entering the main hall, he found the statue collapsed and shattered, the artifact reduced to ashes.

Ling Xiao stood before the statue, his face full of worry, seemingly focused on the mess, oblivious even to Long Hui's arrival.

Long Hui called out, and he snapped out of his reverie, immediately kneeling on one knee to apologize, saying, "Lord Dragon, I am incompetent! The ultimate artifact has been destroyed by the enemy! Please punish me, Lord Dragon!"

Long Hui waved his hand and said, "Things have come to this point, punishing them won't help. Tell me the whole story." Ling Xiao sighed, "Reporting to Lord Long, it happened not long ago. I was in the camp discussing matters with Military Advisor Feng and Yue Biao when I suddenly felt the earth's veins surging and the vital energy rapidly dissipating. I dared not delay and came to check, only to find it like this."

Long Hui said, "So you only just found out about this."

At this moment, Feng Wangchen rushed in and said, "Lord Long, I've already asked the worshippers from earlier. They said a nun and two monks broke in and shattered the statue of the Earth God with a single palm strike."

A nun and monks? Long Hui immediately thought of Du Hongchen. As for the two monks, he thought, "We only saw Venerable Feng in Crouching Tiger Forest; they must be Venerable Di and Venerable Kong!"

He suddenly realized that the Crouching Tiger Forest trap wasn't a simple ambush, but a trap within a trap. It was designed to draw their attention, mobilize the rebel army's experts, create a defensive vacuum, and then destroy the ultimate artifact.

"Although the ultimate artifact is destroyed, the formation's power remains. Those three thieves' cultivation is still suppressed; they certainly haven't gone far. Immediately dispatch troops to pursue them!"

Long Hui decisively ordered. Since the ultimate artifact was destroyed, they should seize the time to repair it and capture the enemy's experts to recoup their losses.

Upon hearing this, Ling Xiao immediately dispatched troops to search Muzhou, while Yue Biao conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area.

Upon hearing that the ultimate artifact had been destroyed, Chu Wanbing was furious.

Long Hui said, "Bing'er, Xuexin, Du Hongchen, and the others are still suppressed by the residual power of the formation, so they shouldn't have escaped far. You two sisters are responsible for searching the east side. Once you find anything, immediately send out a signal fire, and I'll head there right away."

Chu Wanbing nodded, used her Phoenix Divine Power, and spread her wings to fly high. Wei Xuexin also flew on her sword to follow her sister in the pursuit. The two beauties, Bing and Xue, were responsible for the east side of Muzhou, while Yu Xiuting and Yuan Qitian were responsible for the west and south sides respectively. As for the north side, it was the area where Long Hui's forces had penetrated deep, so Feng Wangchen could handle it alone.

The two beautiful women, dressed in ice and snow, flew through the air, their beautiful eyes fixed on the ground. Wei Xuexin suddenly had a sudden thought and pointed ahead, shouting, "Sister, look!"

Chu Wanbing looked closely and saw a giant beast carrying three people fleeing at high speed. The beast had a tiger-like head, a single horn on its head, ears like a mastiff, a body covered in scales, a lion-like tail, and hooves like a horse. It ran like the wind. It was the Nine-Unlikes Beast, and the three people it carried were none other than the two Venerables, Du Hongchen and Di Kong.

Upon seeing this, Chu Wanbing gritted her teeth and said, "You shameless nun, what a small world!"

Last time, she was severely injured by Du Hongchen, and Chu Wanbing held a grudge. Now that they had met again, it was as if she was seeing her enemy again.

Du Hongchen also saw Chu Wanbing, but she seemed completely unsurprised, smiling as she said, "Little vixen, if you want to set off fireworks and call for reinforcements, hurry up, or this humble nun will have to take her leave!"

Although Chu Wanbing was furious, she remained calm. Hearing this, she was immediately puzzled, thinking to herself, "Set off fireworks? How does this thieving nun know I have fireworks on me?"

Encountering something unusual, the little phoenix, with her keen mind, connected the dots: "Something's fishy. The location of the Extreme Yuan Artifact's storage is extremely secretive; even the higher-ups of the Dragonscale Army don't know about it." Moreover, the general guarding the city only knew about the ultimate artifact in his own city and was completely unaware of the other cities... It was truly perplexing that this thieving nun was able to succeed in one strike. Coupled with the layout of Crouching Tiger Forest, it seemed that the other party had already discovered the true strength of Muzhou.

Just as she hesitated, the Nine-Faced Beast had already increased the distance by more than ten feet. Wei Xuexin raised her eyebrows and pursued with her sword. Her fair hands condensed into light, and dozens of sword energies shot out like lightning. The Earth Venerable stood up and stood on the back of the Nine-Faced Beast, channeling his Buddha Palm energy to unleash a Maitreya Mountain Collapse Palm to block the sword energies.

The palm and sword clashed, and the Earth Venerable spat out crimson blood and fell backward. The Void Venerable caught him quickly to prevent him from falling to the ground.

Du Hongchen's beautiful face darkened, and she shouted, "Nine-Faced Beast, deal with them!"

The Nine-Faced Beast suddenly stopped its running momentum, turned around and roared, and a huge sound wave rushed towards Wei Xuexin.

Wei Xuexin's beautiful face paled, not daring to take the hit head-on. She dodged, the sonic wave compressing the surrounding air into a ball, its power comparable to cannon fire, shaking the earth wherever it passed.

Seeing this, Chu Wanbing didn't try to be reckless either. She immediately took out fireworks, pulled the fuse, and fired the signal. Du Hongchen patted the head of the Nine-Faced Beast, then pointed her jade hand at the fireworks flying into the air. The Nine-Faced Beast understood, roared to the sky again, and a gust of air swirled and swept past, crushing the fireworks into ashes before they could explode.

Du Hongchen was confident and sneered, "Want to find help? Not so easy!"

Chu Wanbing's eyebrows shot up, her almond eyes widened, and she shouted, "You slutty nun, even if it's a one-on-one fight, I'm not afraid of you!"

As she spoke, she reached for her waist, and Feng Yan floated out, flashing a cold light, thrusting her sword at Du Hongchen.

Chu Wanbing, seeing that the three men's martial arts were limited, attacked without hesitation, determined to kill them quickly. She unleashed the Returning to Truth Sword Technique and the Primordial Might, her sword energy surging like a tidal wave, her powerful force capable of shattering mountains.

Du Hongchen sneered disdainfully, his nine-legged beast immediately protecting its master. Its fierce eyes glared, radiating an eerie light. The ground and rocks, pulled by a strange force, floated and seemed to form a thick, high wall.

With a deafening roar, the wall shattered, and Chu Wanbing's powerful sword energy was neutralized. She was forced back more than ten steps by the recoil, while the nine-legged beast remained unscathed, the three behind it completely unharmed. "

What a bizarre beast!" Chu Wanbing's alluring eyes narrowed, a murderous intent rising within her. She lightly stomped her lotus feet, drawing in the earth's energy into her sword, combining the Gathering Yuan Sword Technique with the Mountain-Pulling Palm to strike.

Facing the righteous and evil martial arts techniques, the nine-legged beast revealed its extraordinary ability again. With a stomp of its front hooves, the ground trembled immediately.

With a flick of its tail, it shattered Chu Wanbing's sword energy with a snap.

Chu Wanbing's heart pounded. This ferocious beast's power was no less than that of the golden dragon, and even on the ground, the golden dragon might not be its match. Seeing her sister struggling to break through the enemy's defenses, Wei Xuexin immediately drew her sword to assist. Her single sword swept across the sky, a chilling aura flowing forth—the very essence of the "Snow Embracing Ice Clouds and Chilling Winds" from the Azure Lotus Sword Song.

The chilling aura transformed into a sharp blade, piercing towards the Nine-Faced Beast. The Nine-Faced Beast lowered its head and roared, its eyes shooting out flames that dissolved the icy sword energy.

Chu Wanbing cried out, "Xuexin, quickly use the Azure Sea Sword Realm!"

Wei Xuexin understood, her sword transforming into a surging sea wave, a wave that, while seemingly restraining, did not attack, tightly binding the Nine-Faced Beast's body. With the sisters working together, Chu Wanbing seized the opportunity, leaping forward and unleashing the Six Phases of the Clouds, attacking from above and below, aiming to capture the leader first.

Just then, the residual power of the Earthly Branches dissipated, Du Hongchen's internal energy recovered, and his true qi surged. With a fierce shout, he swept his whisk, making it difficult for the Six Phases of Clouds to achieve any significant effect, and Chu Wanbing's offensive was thwarted.

At the same time, Venerable Kong also recovered his full strength, adding his palm strike to support Chu Wanbing

, who was caught in a crossfire and unable to cope. She then used the Serpent Body Technique to evade the attacks. After forcing Chu Wanbing back, Du Hongchen swept his whisk downwards, shattering most of the Entangling Sword Qi. After struggling a few more times, the Nine-Faced Beast broke free from Wei Xuexin's control.

Du Hongchen had no intention of continuing the fight and called for the Nine-Faced Beast to leave. Wei Xuexin wanted to give chase, but Chu Wanbing hurriedly stopped her, saying, "Xuexin, don't chase after her. That stinky nun has recovered her strength, and besides, that strange beast is beyond our ability to handle. The most important thing is to go back and reunite with our husband."

Wei Xuexin sighed softly, glaring resentfully at the Nine-Faced Beast's departing figure.

Back in Muzhou, Chu Wanbing recounted the pursuit, and everyone couldn't help but sigh.

Chu Wanbing frowned and said, "Husband, I feel something is amiss. That thieving nun seems to have come prepared; both her destruction of the ultimate artifact and her escape seem to have been planned in advance."

Long Hui asked, "Why do you say that?"

Chu Wanbing said, "I won't go into too much detail, let me just tell you about her escape route. There's a shortcut to Su Ming to the west, and the Crouching Tiger Forest is to the south. Both of these routes would be the fastest way to escape our pursuit, but she chose the east."

Hearing Chu Wanbing's words, Long Hui also felt something was amiss. The southwest routes were the most difficult to cross, as Xiuting and Yuan Qitian were in charge, while the east route, although longer, had a relatively weaker search force. Choosing this route to escape, although time-consuming, was safer.

"Bing'er, are you saying that the enemy has spies planted in our army?"

Long Hui asked.

Chu Wanbing shook her head and said, "I don't think so, because the pursuit arrangements are all decided on the spot. Even if there were spies, there wouldn't be time to send out the news."

Everyone agreed, but there was also a contradiction—if the enemy didn't have spies, how did they find out the details of the pursuit operation?

Suppressing his doubts, Long Hui asked, "Ling Xiao, Feng Wangchen, and Yue Biao, it's not that I don't trust you, I just want to understand what happened, so I need to ask you some questions."

The three nodded in agreement.

Long Hui asked, "Have you told any outsiders about the location of the Extreme Yuan Weapon?"

Ling Xiao firmly replied, "I dare to swear on my life that this is absolutely not true."

Feng Wangchen also said, "I, Feng, have kept my mouth shut as well."

Compared to these two cautious subordinates, Long Hui looked at Yue Biao and asked, "Yue Biao, what about you?"

Yue Biao's face darkened, and he cried out that he was innocent, "I, Yue Biao, have never mentioned the location of the Extreme Yuan Weapon to anyone, not even this matter, except for a few words mentioned while drinking last night."

Long Hui pressed, "Who did you drink with!"

Feng Wangchen interjected, "Yue Biao drank with me and Ling Xiao last night. He had just seized a large amount of military equipment and was in a good mood, so he invited us to drink. There were only the three of us at the banquet. Yue Biao got a little drunk and casually mentioned the Extreme Yuan Weapon, and then we parted ways."

Long Hui asked, "What did Yue Biao say at the banquet?"

Yue Biao said... "I was feeling sentimental after winning a battle. If we kept winning so easily, everyone would want to join the army. Then Strategist Feng reminded me not to be too complacent, lest pride lead to defeat. After a few drinks, I got a little tipsy and praised how well the Extreme Yuan Artifact was hidden, like in a local temple,"

Feng Wangchen said. "I immediately stopped Yue Biao, forbidding him from mentioning it again."

Long Hui fell into deep thought. The loyalty of these three was never in question. If they wanted to be traitors, they wouldn't have waited until today to act. They had initially adopted a hands-off approach to hide the Extreme Yuan Artifact, leaving it unattended and without any experts or soldiers guarding it. This concealment in the bustling city made it impossible for the enemy to guess its location. However, this method had a flaw: once the enemy discovered its location, they could easily destroy the Extreme Yuan Artifact.

Long Hui and the others had assessed that the possibility of the enemy discovering the Extreme Yuan Artifact was extremely small, which was why they adopted the strategy of hiding it in plain sight.

"What's done is done, and assigning blame won't help."

Long Hui made a quick decision, turning his attention to the immediate situation. "With the Extreme Yuan Artifact destroyed, the Earthly Branches Grand Array is now flawed. The enemy will definitely take advantage of this opportunity to attack, and our army must prepare for battle. Muzhou is the front line of this bloody battle."
