"A Whisper Through the Flowers" - Chapter Twenty-Two: I am hungry, but this is not what I want to eat.

It's easy to imagine how triumphant Yue Chongguang was on his journey, while Xue Lingzhi lamented, "How much sorrow can one have? It's like a river of spring flowing eastward."
She didn't think Yue Chongguang was riding his horse that fast, and by the time they reached the small town, it was already dark.

Wow, the soft and chewy water-milled rice flour and the sweet and fragrant red bean paste inside taste absolutely wonderful together.
Xue Lingzhi actually closed her eyes while eating, a satisfied smile on her lips, gently shaking her little head, as if she were listening to heavenly music, completely absorbed in the experience, savoring every last bit of the taste.
Yue Chongguang, who was standing to the side, almost burst out laughing.
How did she experience such amazement and happiness from eating just a glutinous rice ball?
However, seeing Xue Lingzhi like this, Yue Chongguang felt a warm glow in his heart, so he reached out and touched the rim of her bowl, asking, "Is it that delicious?"
Xue Lingzhi then came to her senses and looked at the soup bowl in her hands, realizing that Yue Chongguang hadn't ordered anything.
She asked curiously, "Why don't you buy a bowl and try it?"
Yue Chongguang looked at Xue Lingzhi intently, patted his stomach, and said seriously, "I don't have enough money for travel, so I can only buy you one bowl..."
Hearing this, Xue Lingzhi felt a little embarrassed.
Although they couldn't share the good times, they could at least share the bad.
So she pushed the glutinous rice ball towards Yue Chongguang and whispered, "Let's each have half..."
