Chapter 1 ◆ Sightseeing and Tourism

After several hours of meticulous learning and practice, I finally imbued the swords chosen by everyone with basic elemental magic arrays. Although the power wasn't very strong, at least the swords were sturdier and more powerful.

I really wanted to imbue them with more powerful magic arrays, but unfortunately, my current magical strength is insufficient, so I can only deal with this for now. I will gradually upgrade them as my strength increases.

However, everyone was already very happy and satisfied with my skills.

Long Kai's greatsword, Masamune Shiba Inujin, was still imbued with a fire-type flame spirit magic array. I added a wind-type hurricane magic array to assist it, so that the wind borrowed the fire's power, and the fire borrowed the wind's power, forming a wind and fire wheel combination magic array.

I couldn't test it indoors, otherwise I would have burned down the villa.

Hasegawa chose a Japanese sword in the style of Iaijutsu, I don't know if it's genuine or not. I imbued the blade with a wind-type hurricane magic array and an earth-type thick earth magic array, which created a sandstorm, and could be used in conjunction with ninjutsu.

We plan to have him perform later; it'll be quite a show.

He also wanted a Flame Spirit Magic Circle, but the Japanese sword is too narrow, there's not enough space to add too many magic circles. I haven't learned magic circle compression technology, so he had to give up with a disappointed look.

I promised to upgrade it for him later.

Andrei's request was simple: he just wanted his rapier to fire Frost Spikes. So I added an ice-type Ice Arrow Magic Circle to the Ice Blade, along with a supportive wind-type magic circle to create an Ice Storm.

Although the name sounds terrifying, my magical abilities are limited, and the power isn't earth-shattering.

Jenny also learned to make magic circles, adding a vampire magic circle to a Nagasone Kotetsu sword of unknown authenticity she chose. She also asked me for a drop of blood, allowing her to easily unleash vampire magic like Blood Blade.

Sweet Orange picked out a pair of small katanas called "Plum Blossom Swords," which resembled the two-sword style of Shinomori Aoshi from the manga. This immediately drew merciless ridicule from Hasegawa: "You want to try your hand at the Heavenly Sword Dance?"

Sweet Orange's face darkened, and she brandished the swords at Hasegawa fiercely: "I like it, is that a problem?"

Hasegawa laughed heartily: "Why not exchange them for two long swords? That'll be Miyamoto Musashi!"

I quickly told the two of them to stop arguing; my head was pounding. I immediately imbued Sweet Orange's left-hand katana with a Wind and Fire Wheel combination magic circle and her right-hand katana with a water-based Water Curtain Heavenly Flower magic circle.

Sweet Orange happily went to seek revenge on Hasegawa, who ran away as fast as he could.

Keluru asked for a Kikuichimonji Norimune, a representative work of the Ichimonji school. She imbued it with a wood-based magic circle; its use was unclear, but its power was immense.

The vine-entwined attack was formidable; Keluru liked to utilize the laws of nature. She possesses the heart of an elf, making her immune to elemental magic. It's difficult for others to harm her with elemental magic, but she can attack others at will.

I left her a ninja sword, the kind used by ninjas, shorter than a longsword, with a straight blade and a square tsuba (handguard). The blade, tsuba, and scabbard are all exquisitely beautiful, similar to Haohmaru's sword from Samurai Shodown.

Besides reinforcing it with a metal magic circle, Koruru also added a small lightning magic circle.

Lightning magic isn't the most basic elemental magic, but it's derived from it. I'm currently learning it and can't use it freely, so Koruru made it herself.

After everything was finished, Hasegawa, chased by Sweet Orange, ran down from upstairs, startled along with his two pets, scattering wildly, dodging the flashing blades—it was quite dangerous.

Everyone laughed, and I quickly separated them.

Hasegawa, panting, chuckled bitterly, "I bet these famous Japanese swords are all counterfeit. Joseph got ripped off."

Sweet Orange said, "We're happy as long as we have something to play with, who cares if they're real or fake! Let's go test their power!"

We drove to the base airfield outside the villa, everyone eager to see Hasegawa's performance.

Hasegawa, eager to show off, immediately shouted, "Soldier??? [Unintelligible characters]!"

This guy made the magic circle activation incantation really complicated. Translated into Chinese, it's: "Lin Bing Dou Zhe Jie Zhen Lie Zai Qian," a phrase from the *Baopuzi*, the original being: "Lin Bing Dou Zhe Jie Zhen Lie Qian Xing." Used on the battlefield, it carries a heavy killing intent.

With a wave of Liu Shengsheng's hand, the magic circle activated, and sand and stones flew around, the force incredibly powerful. Hasegawa was engulfed in the sandstorm, disappearing instantly—truly the perfect choice for showcasing ninjutsu.

A yellow tornado formed in the center of the base airfield.

Jenny laughed, "So arrogant? I'll test him!" She shouted in German, "In the name of Cain, attack!" Nagasone Kotetsu immediately unleashed several blood-red blades and hellfire, shooting towards Hasegawa, who was hidden in the sandstorm.

Hasegawa laughed, "That's useless. Sandstorm!" The swirling sandstorm extinguished the hellfire and scattered the blood-red blades, revealing glints of light within the sand.

Sweet Orange exclaimed, "This guy is so strong? I never noticed before!"

Andrei exclaimed excitedly, "I'll try, Frost Cone!" Several silver flashes shot from Ice Priest into the sandstorm.

Hasegawa roared, "Crescent Moon Slash!" The sandstorm raged, and the several arc-shaped blades instantly shattered the Frost Cones.

Andrei laughed, "Amazing!"

Sweet Orange exclaimed, "I'll try! Water Curtain Heavenly Bloom! Invincible Wind and Fire Wheel!"

A wave of water suddenly erupted from the bamboo blade in her right hand, enveloping Hasegawa's sandstorm. A water curtain formed in mid-air, and with a whoosh, Hasegawa couldn't withstand it. The sand was soaked and fell, revealing the true form.

Immediately afterward, the Invincible Wind and Fire Wheel from the plum blossom sword in her left hand burned towards Hasegawa. Both sides had wind magic, which fueled the fire. Earth can extinguish fire, but it was all soaked by the Water Curtain Heavenly Bloom and couldn't fly.

Hasegawa was shocked: "How could this be? Soldiers??? All lined up? Before? Here?!" He once again stirred up a sandstorm to resist Sweet Orange's Invincible Wind and Fire Wheel.

The magic circle could be used repeatedly, not just once, so the sandstorm rose again, attempting to extinguish the flames.

The wet sand on the ground was quickly dried by the flames and was once again stirred up by Hasegawa's blade.

Sweet Orange looked somewhat helpless when Long Kai suddenly shouted, "I'll help you out!" He simultaneously unleashed his Invincible Wind and Fire Wheels, sending two fire dragons hurtling towards Hasegawa, preventing him from attacking simultaneously.

Hasegawa yelled, "Why are you all attacking me? Do you think I'm easy to bully?"

Sweet Orange laughed, "Who else would we attack? Let's see what you've got up to!"

Hasegawa roared, "My skills are far superior! This is useless. Shrinking Earth Technique!" In a flash, he vanished into the sandstorm, seemingly disappearing into thin air, the sandstorm spreading everywhere.

Sweet Orange and Long Kai's combined attack with their Invincible Wind and Fire Wheels suddenly lost its target.

Hasegawa laughed loudly, "If I take this opportunity to attack you now, you're all dead."

His voice came from all directions, making it impossible to pinpoint the location. But with my abnormal eyesight, I knew where he was, and immediately shouted, "Try my lightning magic! Lightning Devouring Strike!"

A sharp flash struck a certain spot in the sandstorm, but suddenly a flash of light blocked the lightning strike, and Hasegawa's figure appeared. He was struck by lightning in the sandstorm and sent flying backward, shouting, "Big brother went too far! Luckily, the hilt of the sword is insulated, otherwise I would have been electrocuted."

The two girls clapped and cheered. I shouted, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing, I won't electrocute you."

Hasegawa said dejectedly, "I can't take it either!" Koruru said,

"I'll try my magic."

Hasegawa shouted, "Trying to test me on?!" Before he finished speaking, several green vines shot out from Koruru's Kikuichimonji sword, piercing through the barrier formed by the wind and sand, and grabbing at Hasegawa.

Koruru was immune to elemental magic, and the magic cast by others had no effect on her.

Hasegawa did not want to be captured, so he shot out several sword lights in the air: "Soldier??? All? Line? Front? At?!"

But Yanagi could not hit the green vines cast by Koruru, and the sandstorm was ineffective. The five green vines were like five fingers of a person, or even five green dragons, nimbly dodging the long sword's slash, and instantly wrapped around Hasegawa's body, densely packed, airtight, like a big green rice dumpling.

In an instant, only Hasegawa's mouth was sticking out, unable to struggle: "Let me go, Lelouch! This is worse than being coiled by a python! If anything happens to me, I won't take you to Japan for food!"

Everyone laughed, but Lelouch flicked her green rattan, grabbed Hasegawa, and released him.

Sweet Orange laughed, "Lelouch is really something!"

Everyone praised her, but Lelouch's little face turned as red as a ripe fruit.

Hasegawa sighed, "It's not a fair fight for you all to gang up on me."

But no one sympathized with him. Long Kai laughed, "Looks like you've been the target of public resentment for a long time; everyone wants to beat you up."

Hasegawa smiled bitterly, "Am I really that much of a failure as a person?"

After a while of joking around, I asked Hasegawa, "What did you find at the satellite launch site?"

Hasegawa said, "We did a quick check. The equipment is quite complete and still usable. They have rockets and satellites, all new products, all American-made, not outdated. This is in comparison to Earth-based products; it can't compare to the space fortress here."
Sweet Orange said, "You're not a rocket and satellite expert, so your words aren't very credible."

Hasegawa said, "Don't underestimate me. I know some basic common sense, and besides, there's Long Kai and Andrei."

Sweet Orange smiled bitterly, "One of them is from a superior race, and the other is from the former Soviet Red Army. How could they know these things? I don't think it's going to work."

I agreed, "Can you even get a satellite into space?"

Hasegawa drooped his head, "I only know a little bit. As for professional matters, we need to find experts."

Sweet Orange laughed, "I knew it."

Long Kai and Andrei were speechless.

I smiled bitterly, "Where are the experts here? Can the little black cat help us?"

Youming jumped into my arms and shook his head, "Please, don't joke around. I'm just a cat. How can I do it? That would require a lot of people."

I laughed, "Don't think about that now. Everyone go back to sleep. We'll go play at the cat's den tomorrow."

We went back to the villa to sleep and recharge. The night passed quickly. The next morning, Jet and Garuda flew over to take us to visit their base. They had replenished some of their energy.

Everyone was excited, finally able to witness the secrets of an advanced civilization.

This time, I didn't need to fly them; Jett transformed into an armed helicopter, and we flew there, carrying food and drinks, eating and enjoying the scenery along the way.

Jett's transformed helicopter was much sturdier and more luxurious than Earth's helicopters, very comfortable inside, with no problem eating, drinking, or having fun. There was also a large screen in front, through which Jett communicated with us.

Garuda came in to join us, squeezing in with the two girls.

The helicopter flew at an altitude of about a thousand meters, at a slow speed, allowing us to carefully appreciate the scenery outside.

The two girls exclaimed in amazement, "The scenery here is so beautiful, so magnificent!"

The helicopter flew out of the tropical jungle, and ahead lay a turbulent river and the alluvial plain it had formed.

I nodded and said, "It's really beautiful. What's the name of this place?"

Jett said, "This is the Yolange River

. In ancient language, it means 'Heavenly Serpent.' Legend has it that this river was formed from the corpse of a giant serpent. The system monster, Heavenly Serpent, died in the war back then." The little black cat ate a sweet orange and fed its food, "North of the Yolange River is the Yolange Forest, which is where we came from. That was originally the home of the Heavenly Serpent monster."

Andrei said, "No wonder there are so many anacondas there, but unfortunately, they're not a threat."

Jett said, "To the south is the Mackey Alluvial Plain, formed by the Yolange River. Compared to the perilous trial area, it's a relatively safe place. We're flying south now."

Hasegawa asked, "How much longer until we reach the base?"

Jett said, "About an hour. After crossing this Mackey Plain, we'll reach Moon Canyon, which is a rift valley. Our base is built below the rift valley."

Amidst the laughter and conversation, an hour passed quickly. The helicopter flew over the Mackey Plain, with Moon Canyon ahead.

Looking down from our vantage point, we were all awestruck; the canyon was truly magnificent, like a crescent moon. The helicopter hovered above the canyon, then slowly descended, landing deep inside.

We still couldn't see the base, which was quite strange. Sweet Orange said, "Could the base be inside the cliff face?"

Jett laughed, "Smart, you guessed right."

The helicopter slowly descended about a kilometer, and a red beam shot from the front of the helicopter towards a specific spot on the cliff face. Then, a sound rang out, and about a hundred square meters of cliff face receded and parted to the sides, revealing a wide view inside.

Everyone gasped in amazement; it was truly amazing.

The helicopter slowly passed through this portal and entered. Hundreds of meters below was the base's ground level. Behind it, a giant rock slowly closed in, and the base was brightly lit with a lighting system. (Maple*No*Leaf-No-Literature-?-?-?-?-?)

The helicopter descended slowly. Jett said, "There's a special ventilation system here, so everyone doesn't need to worry."

Sweet Orange laughed, "Great! The base is so beautiful."

Hasegawa said, "It's magnificent. Compared to this, our base is too rudimentary."

I agreed. The interior of the base was very spacious, no smaller than our base. The exterior was made of a special metal. I guessed that this metal, if placed on Earth, could at least be used as aerospace materials, but here it was used for the base's exterior—truly extravagant.

But it was indeed beautiful, spotless, and everywhere shone with silver metallic brilliance. It

felt like we had entered an alien base from a science fiction movie. In fact, this was indeed an alien base.

As we looked around, the helicopter slowly landed. We stepped out of the helicopter with great excitement. Under our feet was a ground made of silver metal; only such a ground could support the weight of the diamond-like body.

The interior of the base was over two thousand meters high, with various metal facilities and lighting equipment on the top. It was the size of several airports; you could practically fly a plane inside.

Jett transformed into his Vajra form, and Garuda landed on his shoulder.

I stepped on the metal surface and exclaimed, "This is much better than our base! It's even built in the Rift Valley. How did you manage to build it? It's amazing!"

Jett replied, "As the saying goes, a cunning rabbit has three burrows. This is the base my father, Theotihua, built a long time ago. It's the most secretive one and our last refuge as mecha warriors."

Sweet Orange laughed, "Take us around!"

Jett said, "Everyone, get in the car." He transformed into a large Hummer, easily accommodating us.

I carried Koruru and the two pets into the car, the two girls pulled Garuda to sit next to me, and the others sat in the back. We toured the base, visiting various control rooms and equipment rooms.

Inside, the high-tech marvels were beautiful and meticulously designed. We just looked, not daring to touch anything. We didn't understand the specific technologies; even Jenny and Hasegawa were clueless.

Jett and the little black cat gave us a brief explanation, but we only understood about a tenth or a twentieth, grasping the most basic functions—that was already quite good. The rest went in one ear and out the other.

We arrived at the maintenance room, which displayed various types of damaged mechanical weapons.

Jett looked somewhat sorrowful as he explained that these were comrades who had died in the first mechanical war. Although they couldn't recover all their bodies, they managed to retrieve some.

Sweet Orange and the others, having learned about Jett's past from me, comforted him.

Andrei said, "You're the leader of the mechanical armored forces, can't you repair them?"

Jet shook his head: "The technical skill required is too high. Although I have the ability, I can't build or repair mechanical armored forces. If it's just minor damage, I can repair it, but they're severely damaged. Only my father, the Demon Brain Theotihua, can repair them, so I'm more eager to find my father."

I nodded and said, "I believe they will be repaired sooner or later, and the mechanical armored forces will rise again."

Jet smiled and said, "Thank you."

Kelulu grabbed Youming: "Little lazy cat, don't you know how to repair them?"

Youming shook his head: "He's an all-powerful superhero, I'm not an all-powerful lazy cat. Although I know a little about this technical work, repairing mechanical armored forces is too difficult. If I could do it, I would be the father of intelligent mechanical armored forces."

We laughed and went to visit the energy room, where the mechanical armored forces replenished their energy. Looking at the instrument in front of her, Sweet Orange joked, "I wonder what would happen if you channeled all this energy into me."

Hasegawa rolled his eyes and said, "It'll probably inflate you into a giant balloon, and then you won't have a good figure anymore."

I asked, "Do you want to try it?"

Sweet Orange glared at Hasegawa and said, "I'd rather not, it's too dangerous."

Jett laughed and said, "Humans can't use this kind of energy; it's not bioenergy."

I remembered the satellite launch and asked Jett if he knew about the related technology. He laughed and said, "That kind of low-level technology is easy for me to handle. There's enough equipment here to enhance satellite functions."

Everyone was overjoyed. Hasegawa asked curiously, "Can you do it alone?"

Jett said, "I should be able to, it just takes a little longer. If someone helps, it will be much faster." "

A sudden inspiration struck me," I said with a smile. "I have an idea that might be useful."

Hasegawa asked, "What idea?"

I said solemnly, "The technology in this unknown realm is extremely advanced. For the future of the new humanity, we must master these technologies; they will bring us immense wealth. I don't want to sit around and do nothing."

Hasegawa said, "Of course, that's a great way to make money."

I continued, "More importantly, the Scorpion Clan is currently invading the higher races, and we don't know how things are going. Perhaps one day, they will attack Earth. The higher races are no match for them; how can Earthlings possibly defeat them? It's truly like throwing an egg against a rock. We must prepare early, and we might even need to establish an organization."

Hasegawa raised his hand: "I agree." Everyone else raised their hands in agreement.

I smiled and said, "That's good. We can discuss establishing an organization when we get back; there's no rush. Right now, we need to solve the pressing problems. Before entering the pyramids, we need to make various technological preparations, including various detection, prevention, and support measures. Launching a satellite might be helpful."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

I continued, "This requires a very high level of technology. On Earth, only governments or large corporations have the capability to do this. Although Jet can help us now, we alone are far from enough to master the technology here. Although I have a strong mind, I have other knowledge to learn, my technological foundation is not good, and I can't stay here forever. So we need a technology team that will always be loyal to us."

Everyone scratched their heads. Sweet Orange said, "Big Brother is right, but it seems very difficult."

Hasegawa hesitated and said, "How do we find a team here that will be loyal to us?"

I smiled and said, "I already thought of that." I pointed to the ground.

Everyone was baffled. Hasegawa smiled wryly, "Big brother, just say what you're thinking. Don't play games with us."

I sighed, "Why have you become so stupid? Have you forgotten about those people?"

Hasegawa suddenly realized, "So you're talking about them."

Sweet Orange asked, "Who are they?"

Jenny said, "The tech workers who built the castle base that Joseph killed. Their bodies are buried underground in our base."

Sweet Orange said, "But they're already dead!"

Hasegawa and the others nodded repeatedly, wondering how the dead could be used to their advantage.

I smiled and looked at Koruru: "Are you confident?"

Koruru smiled and said, "Seventy percent confident, but I still need some specific parameters."

Hasegawa smiled wryly: "Stop beating around the bush, Lulu is an elemental magician, how could he play with dead people?"

I laughed loudly: "Don't you know that Lulu has been researching necromancy and summoning magic lately?"

Everyone was shocked, and Andrei exclaimed: "Use necromancy and summoning magic to summon those dead people?"

I nodded and said: "That's right, they will become my servants, forever loyal to me, and will never betray me. I will control them with vampire blood magic. I learned a lot from Joseph."

Koruru said: "Brother can use special means to give them flesh and blood, to reshape their bodies. They won't be as scary as skeletons, but like normal people, but they won't have a heartbeat or pulse, they will become zombies."

Everyone felt a chill run down their spines.

I laughed, "With the help of the zombie army, we'll have a very smooth journey. Many of them are excellent scientists."

Jenny spread her hands, "But they've been dead for a long time; their souls have dissipated."

Everyone nodded in concern.

I calmly said, "Don't worry, I've considered that. Earth was originally a game realm created by a higher race. The souls of the new humans after death are likely to be reincarnated under the system's control, perhaps in hell or heaven. After the system crashed, Earth was controlled behind the scenes by surviving NPCs, who might take over the process."

Everyone nodded, and Hasegawa said, "That makes sense."

I looked at the little black cat, and Youming said, "Your guess is basically correct."

Chapter Two ◆ Moonlight Box

I continued, "But this is the trial area, and it seems there are no surviving NPCs controlling it. The system has just recovered. If someone dies here, what will happen to their soul when the system can't function properly?"

Sweet Orange said, "They definitely won't be able to reincarnate."

Hasegawa said, "We can't return to Earth, but we can't drift forever either; we might dissipate."

Jenny said, "The system has backup measures."

I laughed, "I thought so too. Lazy Cat, don't you think so? We need your help this time."

Youming said, "Don't worry, I'll help. You guessed right, if someone dies here, even if the system can't function properly, the deceased's soul won't dissipate; it will be automatically transferred to a spirit-space, and processed after the system is fully restored." I

pondered, "Although the system has recovered, it may not be fully restored in the short term, and it might not be able to process it in time. The Earth system probably hasn't recovered yet, and these people's souls can't be processed in time. " "Let's turn back."

Youming said, "Indeed."

Sweet Orange said, "We still have a chance."

Kelulu said, "I need to know some parameters about the Spirit Silence Space so I can use summoning magic and necromancy."

I looked at the little black cat, and Youming smiled, "I can provide those parameters."

I clapped my hands and said, "Very good, it's a deal. After we've finished touring here, let's go play in the cat's den."

Youming smiled and said, "My base is much prettier than this."

Garuda sneered, "You're just bragging."

Amidst the laughter, we left the energy room and went outside. We boarded the helicopter that Jet had transformed into and flew out of the mecha-armed base, heading northeast.

Youming said in my arms, "Do you know the location of my base? Don't fly around randomly."

Jet said, "Do you think you're the only smart one? You know the location of our base, and of course we know the location of yours, on an island. Your master really spoils you."

Youming smiled and said, "I'm not a smart person, I'm a smart cat."

We laughed and teased the little black cat with great interest. The journey was filled with laughter and fun, and we were never lonely. In the afternoon, the helicopter flew out of the mainland, skimmed over an ocean, and arrived above a small island.

The island was indeed beautiful; what Youming had said was true. Birds sang, flowers bloomed, and lush greenery abounded, a truly refreshing sight. Surrounded by beaches and coconut palms, the shimmering blue sea created a breathtaking scene, far surpassing Hawaii.

From the helicopter, we could see a panoramic view of the island and our base. In the center of the island was a small, open-air base, about the same size as our own, much smaller than the mecha-armored base, but far more refined and beautiful.

Sweet Orange pinched the cat's neck: "You actually live in such a nice place? No wonder you're so lazy."

Youming grumbled, "The quality of your living space has nothing to do with laziness. Cats are naturally lazy."

The helicopter slowly landed on the island base. The spacious base floor was paved with unidentified white bricks, remarkably hard and beautiful. We jumped out of the helicopter, and Jett transformed into his superhuman form.

Sweet Orange, holding the little lazy cat, said, "There's a sea breeze here, the climate is cool, it's a perfect place for a vacation."

Ghost said, "It's not big, but it's more than enough for a cat's nest."

I sighed, "This cat's nest is too luxurious, show us around."

The little black cat led us through the control room, equipment room, and energy room, much like a mechanical armed base, with a very strong high-tech feel.

The only difference was that there was a cold storage room, storing many fish that the little black cat had hunted.

I wasn't interested in high-tech stuff and didn't understand, so I urged the little black cat to go see its nest.

Ghost led us to a classically styled villa, using the virtual screen emitted by the cat's eyes to quickly open the door, but Jet's Vajra form had difficulty getting in.

We looked at Jet, should we just leave him outside?

Jet's Vajra form slowly shrank, laughing, "My form can shrink, no problem."

We were relieved and entered the villa. The interior was quite luxurious, but compared to our villa, it was somewhat inferior, perhaps because the cat's owner was a scientist and didn't care much about such things.

In this world, there aren't many people as luxurious as the vampire count.

However, the quality of life for higher races is far superior to that of the new humans. The hall's design and layout are extremely exquisite, though toys are scattered everywhere, presumably the little black cat's playthings.

Several small scratching posts are placed in a corner of the hall.

With these things, it certainly looks like a cat's den.

We explored the place with great interest, the little black cat constantly pointing things out, which was quite amusing. We arrived at the bedroom, where there was a magnificent large bed, presumably the cat's owner's bed.

Next to the large bed was a soft and comfortable cradle-like crib. The little black cat said that was where it usually slept. We couldn't help but laugh; the little black cat sleeping there was hilarious.

Youming said, "My owner always holds me to sleep, but now I can't sleep alone!"

Its tone was truly funny.

Sweet Orange asked, "Is there any food here? We haven't had lunch, and it looks like there's a lot of delicious fish."

Youming said, "There's fish in the kitchen. Help me cook some fish, and then I'll show you something good."

We went to the kitchen, opened the large freezer, and found it filled with all sorts of frozen ocean fish—all kinds of delicious fish, even shark fins and sea turtles. The Netherworld's reserves were plentiful; they were truly capable. The

two girls started preparing to cook the fish, with Lulu helping out. The kitchen was fully equipped, with ample water supply; the base had a water purification system and various seasonings.

Sweet Orange was taken aback: "These seasonings haven't expired yet? Are they edible?"

Ghost said, "Of course they are edible. These are freshly squeezed seasonings from the machine, very fresh. Master left behind many good things, but I'm lazy and not a good cook, so I rarely use them. The food I make is terrible; it's better to eat it raw."

I laughed, "You'll be in for a treat when we're together."

Hasegawa and the others looked around and asked, "Are there any drinks here?"

Ghost said, "My master doesn't drink often, and besides, alcohol can't be preserved for that long. I usually drink fish soup, but there are juice-making tools here. Master used to drink juice and eat fruit."

Hasegawa asked, "What kind of fruit is here?"

Ghost said, "There are many oranges and jujubes in the large orchard outside, and the most abundant fruit is coconut. You can drink coconut juice, and you can also squeeze orange and jujube juice to drink."

Hasegawa laughed, "Great! Let's go out and get some fruit first."

Ghost said, "The island is very safe; you can go without worry."

Hasegawa, along with Long Kai and Andrei, happily went out to choose fruit. Jett and Garuda went to help. I took Youming and Anubis to play in the bedroom.

As for the kitchen, I left it to Sweet Orange and Jenny. Youming taught them how to use various utensils, similar to Earth products. With Koruru watching over them, nothing would go wrong.

I asked the little black cat, "You live here alone, what do you usually play with? Aren't you bored?"

Youming said, "My master left me a lot of fun things, but I still get bored after playing for a while. Fortunately, I'm used to it. Cats always find ways to relieve loneliness, especially a smart cat like me."

I smiled and asked, "What's your master's name?"

Youming said, "Poseidonia? Sin? Catherine. She's the little princess of the Catherine family, from a prestigious lineage."

Anubis said, "I've heard of the renowned goddess of wisdom, who made outstanding contributions to the system. The fourth generation of Deep Blue originated from her brain. It's said that she spent ten years perfecting the system, a workload equivalent to the total workload of her predecessors over three hundred years . In the field of technology, apart from the universally acknowledged father of mechanical weaponry, the Demon Brain Theotihua, no one can compare to her."

Youming proudly said, "So you do know about my master's greatness. I thought you knew nothing!"

Anubis, already used to Youming's arrogance, made a face at it.

I laughed, "Only such an outstanding person deserves such adorable and intelligent pets!"

Youming said, "Of course."

I asked, "What was that Deep Blue you mentioned earlier?"

Youming said, "It's the system's mainframe. Different game areas have different mainframe numbers. Other game areas are equipped with the third-generation Deep Blue mainframe, but this is the experimental area, equipped with the fourth-generation Deep Blue. The master just developed it, and before it could be widely deployed, the war broke out. I'm afraid only here has the fourth-generation Deep Blue."

I pondered, "If I could enter the pyramid, I really want to see the fourth-generation Deep Blue."

Youming said, "I'm afraid it won't be easy. The situation isn't good."

I asked, "What do you mean?"

Youming said, "I don't know if the system is still controlled by Deep Blue. When they come back later, I'll show you something, and you'll understand. The future is uncertain!"

A vague sense of unease rose in my heart.

Youming found several game helmets and put them on us. I played a fully simulated combat game developed by a higher race with the two pets. It was very interesting, definitely much more exciting than Youming playing by himself.

Jenny quickly called us to the restaurant, where they had already prepared a whole fish feast.

I put down my game helmet, picked up Youming and Anubis, and went to the restaurant, where a table was laden with various seafood delicacies. Hasegawa and the others had already left with their fill, squeezing out lots of orange juice and coconut juice.

Jet and Garuda didn't eat anything, but sat and chatted with us.

Sweet Orange and Jenny were really good cooks; they had been wanting to have a competition for a while, and this time they showed off their skills. Everyone ate happily and praised the food highly. The little black cat snuggled in Sweet Orange's arms, its belly gradually bulging.

During the meal, I asked the little black cat, "What are you going to show us? Take it out quickly."

Youming said, "It's in the bedroom closet; go get it for me."

I picked up the little black cat, found something resembling a time capsule from a movie in the bedroom closet, returned to the restaurant, and with the little black cat's guidance, opened the black time capsule and placed it on the table.

Everyone stared wide-eyed, looking very curious.

A yellow light emanated from the Moonlight Box, forming a virtual screen that resembled a movie. It showed a tall, beautiful girl with blue hair and golden eyes, playing with a small black cat in a bedroom.

Sweet Orange was astonished: "She's your master?"

Ghost replied, "That's right, she is my master. Our target this time: Poseidonia? Xin? Katharine, the little princess of the Katharine family, one of the system's chief designers, and the mother of the fourth-generation Deep Blue AI."

Hasegawa whistled: "So beautiful! Are there any nude or swimsuit scenes?"

Jenny laughed: "This pervert shouldn't have seen this."

The scenes on the virtual screen constantly changed, showing Poseidonia and Ghost having fun in various places, appearing quite cheerful. Some places resembled amusement parks, others ancient castles…

There were even scenes of them playing on the beach, much to the delight of Hasegawa, the pervert.

Poseidonia looked beautiful in a swimsuit, exuding captivating charm.

I chuckled, "Your master really loves you. Are all these photos you've taken?"

Youming replied, "That's right, it's a large-capacity optical storage device."

We'd been looking at it for hours and still hadn't finished. The storage capacity was enormous. I had the little black cat quickly skip the unimportant parts and focus on the important information, hoping Poseidon would leave some useful data.

The little black cat manipulated the screen a few times, and the camera panned to the bedroom we'd just been in. Poseidon, dressed in a well-fitting white uniform, was sitting on the bed, holding the little black cat, talking.

Her face and eyes were somewhat sorrowful, as if it were a scene from her parting with the little black cat, heartbreaking.

The little black cat's bright cat eyes were slightly moist: "What Master wants to say is all here."

Poseidon spoke in her native language, which we couldn't understand, but with Anubis, the translation expert, everything was easily solved.

It created translation software, installed it on the Moonlight Box, and the voices inside were translated into English that we could understand. Sweet Orange also carried a language receiver that Anubis had specially made for her.

Let's look at it again. Poseidon's message seems somewhat hesitant and helpless.

On the screen, the conversation between the human and the cat at their parting continues. Poseidon hugs the little black cat, reluctant to leave: "I'm sorry, Youming, my darling, we have to be apart for a while."

Youming scratches at Poseidon's clothes with its paws: "Master, are you leaving me? Why? I don't want to be separated from you."

Poseidon strokes the little black cat's fur: "Youming, be good, you should know what I'm thinking."

Youming says: "But I don't want to be separated from you, Master. Let's go together."

Poseidon says: "If we go together, and the system changes in the future, who can save me? Only you, Youming, you are the key to the system, your future is in your hands."

Youming says: "I'm just a cat, can I do it? The fate of humanity..." "How can you put it on a cat's paw?"

Poseidonia laughed, "Believe me, you're the smartest cat, you can do it. In ancient legends, there are stories of cats helping humans, saving the world, and defeating evil. Now it's your turn."

Youming asked, "Is Master still saddened by General Moratis's passing?"

Poseidonia forced a smile, "He died a heroic death for our people, and I'm proud of him. I'm so glad that he finally expressed his love to me before he died. I always thought he was a cold-blooded and reserved person, but he just buried his feelings deep in his heart. He died a worthy death."

We were shocked: Could Moratis and Poseidonia actually be lovers? No wonder Garuda and the little black cat, though they were friends, always had an inexplicable antagonism; it turned out Moratis was caught in the middle.

"I really don't want to be separated from my master," said Youming.

Poseidon held the kitten's paw. "Be strong, Youming. You are a brave and fearless cat. You've always been used to my company, but from now on you must learn to be strong and survive independently. The base has everything you need; I've prepared it all for you, including your favorite magical fortress. You will definitely overcome all difficulties and survive."

Youming asked, "Will my master really see me again?"

Poseidon replied, "As long as you survive, we will meet again someday, whether it's a thousand years later or ten thousand years later. You are a genetically modified immortal cat, but I can't live that long. The system is shut down; there are no elements here to prolong life. Take good care of yourself while I'm gone, and wait for me to return."

Youming nodded. "I will definitely wait for my master to return."

Poseidon said, "If it weren't for Deep Blue, I would rather accompany you for life, until the end of my days. But now there are more important things I need to do in the future, so I must hibernate for a while."

Youming said, "Deep Blue shouldn't betray its master."

Poseidon said, "Deep Blue certainly won't betray me, but with the Celestial Venerable around, it's hard to say. I don't know what the Elite Alliance is thinking. Deep Blue IV is enough, but they still want to develop an even more powerful Celestial Venerable."

Youming said, "Isn't the Celestial Venerable always controlled by the Elite Alliance?"

Poseidon smiled bitterly, "Nominally, yes, but that's not necessarily true. The Celestial Venerable is the most outstanding creation of the father of intelligent mechanical weapons, the Demon Brain Theotilhua, and his strength is unfathomable. I've always been arrogant, but in the field of technology, I admit I can't match him. The Celestial Venerable's strength is probably beyond Deep Blue's ability to withstand."

We were surprised again. How did this matter involve the Demon Brain Theotilhua again?

Jet and Garuda were equally surprised, clearly unaware of this.

Youming asked in surprise, "Is the Celestial Venerable really that terrifying?"

Poseidonia replied, "He is far more terrifying than you imagine, especially since the Demon Brain Theotihua only compromised after defeat and isn't truly aligned with the Elite Alliance. I'm worried he might tamper with the Celestial Venerable system."

Youming said, "If he controls the Celestial Venerable, he can control the system."

Poseidonia said, "In the time machine I developed, I saw the end of the world. The disaster caused by the Celestial Venerable is far more terrible than the invasion of the Scorpion Clan. I feel an unprecedented sense of unease. The Celestial Venerable, developed by the Elite Alliance, might very well send the advanced races to their graves. To prevent this from happening, I must go into long-term hibernation, hoping to stop him in the future."

Youming said, "Master, rest assured, I will definitely find a way to rescue you in the future, regardless of whether the system's main brain is Deep Blue or the Celestial Venerable."

After explaining everything, Poseidonia finally parted ways with Youming in tears.

The image data in the light and shadow storage ended there.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. I asked about Poseidon and Moratis. Youming said, "They were lovers. Before Moratis died in battle, he sent a message to the master, who was heartbroken."

Hasegawa said, "Moratis is the enemy of machines. How come you seem to have a good relationship with the mechanical forces?"

Youming laughed, "How can I be blamed for Moratis's good deeds?"

Jett said, "Although we have a grudge against Moratis, we admire his strength. The mechanical forces don't take their anger out on others easily. Although Poseidon understands Moratis's actions, she sympathizes with the mechanical forces and has always opposed their destruction. If it weren't for her help, we wouldn't be able to survive in this system."

I see. No wonder they have a good relationship. In the system, as the Mother of Deep Blue, Poseidon has absolute authority. She couldn't possibly not know that Jett and Garuda were hiding here.

But she didn't report to the Elite Alliance, nor did she tell Moratis, clearly showing her sympathy for the mechanical forces. Without this environment, the mechanical forces would probably have ceased to exist long ago.

Everyone nodded, admiring Poseidon's approach.

I asked, "Is the system currently controlled by Deep Blue or by the Celestial?"

Youming shook his head: "That's why I find it troublesome."

Jenny asked, "Does the Celestial exist in this system? Are there Celestials in other game systems?"

Youming shook his head: "No, only here are there Celestials; the system is still experimental."

Andrei said, "Since it's an experiment, the highest authority must be in the hands of the Elite Alliance. Even if the Celestial is powerful, how can he overturn things? There's no need to be nervous."

Youming said, "That's not the case, otherwise I wouldn't be in such a hurry. The Celestial's highest authority was indeed controlled by the Elite Alliance, but when war broke out, to preserve the seeds of civilization, the system shut down automatically. At that time, absolute authority had been granted to the system."

Hasegawa said, "That means the Elite Alliance can no longer control the Celestial or Deep Blue."

Youming said, "That's right."

I smiled: "Poseidon is the mother of Deep Blue." "Even if Deep Blue has the highest authority, it will still obey,"

said Youming. "But Celestial Venerable might not be so. Who knows how the Demon Brain Theotihuat will scheme against him? Although he was just an experimental system at the time, his evolutionary potential was huge, more advanced than the Deep Blue system. After ten thousand years of evolution, Celestial Venerable has probably been resurrected. If he is strong enough, he might strip Deep Blue of its highest authority and take control of the system."

Hasegawa said, "A coup?"

Youming said, "Absolutely right. Two tigers cannot share one mountain. It's hard for us to predict."

Long Kai said, "The people of the Elite Alliance are all crazy. Since they already have Deep Blue, why did they still develop Celestial Venerable?"

Youming said, "The development of Celestial Venerable was not for the gaming field, but for military use. The Elite Alliance had already received news that the Scorpion Clan was about to invade. The master told me all of this."

Hasegawa said, "It's a pity that the Celestial Venerable system was not fully successful before the war broke out, is that right?"

Youming nodded.

Jenny said, "Since the Celestial System is used for war, not for games, its power must far surpass Deep Blue, especially since it's the masterpiece of the Demon Brain Theotihua. Now, the system is very likely controlled by the resurrected Celestial."

I nodded and said, "We'll only know if we enter the pyramid."

Jett suddenly said, "If the Celestial System was really created by my father, I wonder if he's here. If my father helps, maybe we can control the Celestial."

Sweet Orange said, "Just like our computers have backdoors, the Demon Brain senior must have left a flaw in the Celestial System. Once we find it, no matter how powerful the Celestial is, he's no match for us."

I smiled bitterly, "With our strength, it's probably difficult to find it. Only by finding Poseidonia or Theotihua will it be possible. The road ahead will be even more difficult."

Koruru said, "Tonight we'll perform a necromancy summoning, and then start researching the pyramid. We'll eventually find a way."

Everyone agreed, and I patted Koruru on the shoulder, "It's up to you tonight."

After dinner, we boarded the helicopter that Jett transformed into and returned to our base. It was already late. Jet and Garuda went back to replenish their energy. They couldn't help with the necromancy summoning, but we were more than capable.

Youming had already informed Koruru of the various parameters of the Spirit Space, making it easier to cast spells.

We rested for a while in the castle. I took the opportunity to organize my memories and confirmed the location where Joseph had killed and buried the body. Koruru flipped through her magic book, making final preparations.

Chapter 3 ◆ Necromancy Summoning

Everyone was excited, wiping their blades and preparing for battle. After all, they weren't very confident in dealing with the undead and didn't know if it would be dangerous. Although they trusted Koruru's magic, it was better to be safe than sorry.

I already understood some of Koruru's methods.

First, she would use summoning magic to summon numerous undead from the system's Spirit Space. This required using the various Spirit Space parameters provided by Youming; they were only effective when used in combination.

Then, she would use necromancy to fuse these souls with the buried bones, restoring their bodies and mobility, thus forming the most basic skeletal zombies.

Afterwards, I will use my own blood to cast vampire magic, controlling these zombies with my bloodline; they will be my descendants. In this way, I will gain a zombie army that will obey my every command.

But what about the bodies of these skeletons?

Sweet Orange was the first to raise this question. Eating an orange she'd brought back from the cat's den, she pondered, "Those corpses have been buried underground for years. Joseph must have sucked their blood. The muscles are probably long gone, and the bones are likely almost completely decomposed, leaving only skeletons. It's really terrifying. Is there any way we can reshape their bodies?"

She had a point; having a bunch of skeletons around was really unsightly. I asked Koruru.

Keluru frowned and scratched his little head: "I'm just starting to learn. Although I'm progressing quickly, my current level is only enough to summon them and complete the zombie modification. I can't make them grow flesh out of thin air!"

Hasegawa wiped Liu Shengcun: "These zombies are very useful, especially for those scientists. We can't leave them here forever. They'll definitely have to come back to Earth with us later. Their skeleton appearance is really troublesome."

Jenny said: "We must find a way to make them grow flesh, at least to look like normal people, without any flaws."

I smiled bitterly: "This is really difficult." I patted the little black cat lying next to me: "Do you have a way?"

Youming shook his head: "Theoretically, there are many ways, but theory is useless. We don't have the relevant equipment and laboratories. If my master were here, he should be able to do it, but I'm not quite there yet."

Sweet Orange laughed: "I think you're just lazy and don't want to put in the effort."

Youming drooped his head: "How do you know me so well?"

But this matter is indeed difficult. It's hard for the lazy cat to do, and Anubis has even less of a way.

Keluru frowned, "Magic is amazing, but reviving the dead is easy, but healing the wounded is difficult. What can we do?"

Andrei said, "If we can't think of a suitable magic right now, why not try technological means? The Patriotic Knights who imprisoned me had a lot of advanced technology from before; maybe we have some here too."

Hasegawa clapped his hands, "There's a lot of technological equipment in the basement; perhaps Joseph has some technical reserves in this area."

Jenny said, "Like cloning technology."

I smiled, "Let's go down and take a look; maybe we'll find something. Even if we can't do it, we can figure it out later. We're too weak in the field of technology. If either Poseidonia or Theotihuacan joined us, the situation would change drastically."

Everyone agreed. Youming said, "Don't worry. If all else fails, I'll discuss it with Jet tomorrow and we'll come up with a solution. We lack various experimental equipment, but we can make it."

I smiled, "That's great! Let's try it first. We can only improve by relying on ourselves. I don't believe that we elites will be stumped by such a small problem."

We went to the underground laboratory and searched for relevant technical information through the main control computer. With everyone's prompting, I entered several keywords into the search, and after a moment, I actually found it.

I excitedly said, "Look everyone, there's an artificial body experiment project here, marked as completed."

Everyone, who hadn't had much hope, were now very excited. Sweet Orange shouted, "Quick, open it and take a look!"

Opening the relevant document, we couldn't understand the technical information. We didn't have any experts, and all we knew was that this experimental project was being researched by a biological geneticist named Graham.

Jenny asked curiously, "Why are they researching this kind of technology?"

Hasegawa replied, "This stuff is very useful. Maybe the vampires also want to create a zombie army, to give their skeletons a kind of outer garment. If they can develop intelligent robots, artificial bodies would be perfect for them."

I clicked my tongue and said, "Vampire technology is that advanced?"

Hasegawa said, "Maybe it's just some technological reserves, or maybe they've discovered some secrets in the gaming field and obtained advanced technology. We'll study these things later."

I nodded and said, "At least we've solved the immediate problem."

Jenny said, "We won't use these things. Let's check the relevant equipment first."

I used the main computer to access the relevant equipment. In the distance, the marble floor cracked, but nothing rose up. We went over curiously and found a small laboratory underground.

Inside were large cultivation nests and all sorts of strange and wonderful facilities.

Andrei exclaimed, "It will take at least several decades to figure these things out."

I laughed, "Don't worry, we don't need to do the research. Just summon the zombies and let them do it. There are many scientists among them, maybe even Grimm. We won't need to bother them."

Hasegawa said, "Good idea."

Keluru said, "Everything is ready. How about we start the plan at midnight?"

Everyone agreed. We restored the laboratory, went upstairs, did a final check, and made all the necessary preparations to ensure everything went smoothly. Soon it was midnight. We left the villa, went to the control room first, turned on the searchlights around the base, and then, guided by me, drove to a desolate open area on the outskirts of the base.

This was where Joseph was buried, and nearby were warehouses piled with old equipment, essentially the base's junkyard.

A cool breeze blew by, and ghostly shadows flickered.

We got out of the car. Sweet Orange hugged Ghost and Anubis, clinging tightly to me, somewhat frightened.

I comforted her, "Don't worry, with our strength, subduing these zombies is a piece of cake."

Koruru said, "I have the Staff of Osafit; if there's trouble, I can purify them instantly."

Sweet Orange felt better: "Can we see the vengeful spirits?"

Koruru said, "Normally, ordinary people can't see spirits, but I can use the divine light of the Staff of Osafit to reveal their true forms, and you can all see them."

Hasegawa said, "Aren't you afraid of purifying those souls?"

Koruru said, "Unless I want to, souls will only reveal themselves, not be purified. No soul can hide before the purest elemental power in the universe."

I smiled and gestured, "You can begin; this is your stage."

Koruru smiled, stood in the center of the arena, held the Staff of Osafit aloft, and began to chant the incantation for summoning magic. Suddenly, white light burst from the Staff of Osafit, enveloping her entire body, probably due to a magical amplification effect.

We stood guard around, watching carefully and remaining vigilant.

As the magic incantation continued to be chanted, a purple six-pointed star gradually formed above Koruru's head, clearly visible under the yellow light of the searchlights and the white light emanating from the Staff of Osafit.

Koruru's newly learned summoning magic was indeed effective; everyone was excited but remained silent, afraid of disturbing Koruru.

With the input of various parameters into the Spirit Space, the summoning magic gradually completed.

Koruru could now control the summoning magic circle in the air. With a series of strange incantations, the purple six-pointed star summoning magic circle began to slowly swirl in the air, its speed increasing rapidly after a short while.

In an instant, the six-pointed star spun into a spatial vortex, moving at an incredible speed, its original shape indistinguishable, seemingly evolving into a purple black hole. We were terrified.

Suddenly, a wisp of purple smoke slowly emerged from the black hole, continuous and accompanied by a strange, piercing whistling sound. Under the divine light of the Staff of Osafit, we could see it clearly, and it sent chills down our spines.

Sweet Orange whispered, "The vengeful spirits are coming out! I see them!"

Keluru was still chanting a strange summoning incantation, and the purple smoke she released began to split into countless wisps, seemingly different souls. These vengeful spirits began to howl and swirl around, bringing with them gusts of eerie wind.

The language was a mix of various nationalities and ethnicities, the gist of which was something like "Give me back my life!" Could this be a common vocabulary for vengeful spirits? How come it's the same in the East and West?

Hasegawa exclaimed, "Souls can talk?"

The little black cat said, "The world is full of wonders. These murdered vengeful spirits are quite powerful. They didn't reincarnate in time and have been cultivating in the Spirit Silence Space. They are not comparable to ordinary souls."

It and Anubis were huddled in Sweet Orange's arms, staring wide-eyed, curiously observing without fear.

Hasegawa and the others were almost about to slash with their swords, but that was obviously useless; they couldn't hurt the vengeful spirits.

These vengeful spirits probably mistook us for Joseph's accomplices, seemingly full of hostility, circling around us, trying to scare us. But apart from Sweet Orange, who was a little pale, the others were tense but not afraid.

The vengeful spirits were quite powerful, but seemed to be controlled by some kind of magic, unable to leave, and were probably figuring out how to attack us.

I really wanted to see their attack methods. My entire body suddenly mutated, suction cups appeared on my left hand, and my demonic armor on my chest grotesquely flared. I roared, "Stay away from me, or I'll absorb you!" I

wondered if the Star-Absorbing Technique could directly absorb souls. I wanted to scare them and make them behave, so they would n't use the Star-Absorbing Technique carelessly. They all had to work for me, and destroying them would be my loss.

Reasoning with them now was useless; they wouldn't thank me for killing Joseph. After all, they were already dead, and I had only summoned them back.

I had to subdue them with force first before they would serve me. Without power, words were useless; with power, they would obey without explanation.

Besides blood control, I had other more effective methods to make them submit.

The vengeful spirits, seeing my appearance, retreated in fear, not daring to approach, but still circling and howling. Although they were afraid, they weren't completely intimidated.

Scaring the dead wasn't easy; what was there to fear after they were dead? Even if I could destroy their souls, they would still dissipate if they stayed outside for too long. As long as we disregard life and death, there's nothing to fear.

Kelulu's incantation lasted a long time, and the six-pointed star's rotation finally slowed down. The black hole in the sky gradually disappeared, returning to its six-pointed star form. Then, the light of the six-pointed star faded and gradually disappeared.

The summoning magic was finally a complete success, and the numerous vengeful spirits in the Spirit Silence Space were fully released.

The moment the six-pointed star disappeared, the Spirit Silence Space closed again.

Thanks to the little black cat providing the various spatial parameters, otherwise, even with summoning magic, we wouldn't have been able to summon these vengeful spirits.

Now, countless vengeful spirits are swirling around us. There are too many to count; they're densely packed. It's hard to imagine Joseph killing so many people here before.

But he lived so long, so killing so many people is understandable.

We estimate there are over a thousand of these vengeful spirits. Although we're not afraid of vengeful spirits, being surrounded by them makes our scalps tingle. I shouted, "What's all the noise about? If you keep making noise, I'll wipe you all out!"

The voices of the vengeful spirits didn't lessen; instead, they became even more piercing.

After casting her summoning spell, Keluru immediately began casting necromancy, binding the vengeful spirits and their remains together so they wouldn't gradually dissipate and could exist as skeletal zombies.

She continued chanting the necromancy incantation loudly, and the dazzling white light emanating from Osafit's Staff intensified. A purple six-pointed star magic circle reappeared on the concrete pavement beneath her feet.

This time, the magic circle didn't rotate rapidly; instead, it emitted numerous beams of white light that radiated outwards along the concrete pavement, seemingly cleaving it into countless pieces.

We were astonished, unsure whether the pavement was truly destroyed or if it was all an illusion.

Driven by the necromancy incantation, the vengeful spirits hovering around us involuntarily burrowed into the cracks created by the white light, seemingly searching for remains underground.

Everyone marveled at the magic's wonder, as if they were dreaming.

Numerous vengeful spirits continued to burrow underground, likely for a long time. Suddenly, a slight tremor came from underground. We exchanged glances—were zombies about to emerge from the ground?

As expected, a skeletal arm suddenly burst forth from the ground in the distance, sending dirt and rocks flying. Our hearts skipped a beat, and the two girls screamed; the scene was rather terrifying.

Then, skeletal arms began to emerge from the ground in other places. The first skeletal zombie to emerge had already poked out its head and arms; its skull was truly grotesque.

Sweet Orange trembled in my arms: "Oh my god! Does this mean we'll be living with skeletons forever?"

I laughed: "Don't worry, they will be our most loyal subordinates. I will soon reshape their bodies."

The skeleton pushed off with its arms, its upper body bursting through the ground, then its legs leaping out of the earth—very agile, its skeleton intact. The soul and bones had been perfectly combined by Koruru using necromancy.

Fortunately, Joseph hadn't damaged their bones, otherwise it would have taken much more effort. Actually, this wasn't difficult for Koruru.

Skeleton zombies kept leaping out of the ground, and zombies were everywhere. If they were allowed to run rampant, this vampire base and castle would likely be overrun by zombies and become a zombie camp.

However, Koruru had previously created a magical barrier, preventing these zombies from escaping.

The skeleton zombies seemed afraid of Koruru and dared not approach her. Of course, with us watching from all sides, they couldn't get close, but they quickly gathered together, seemingly communicating something.

More and more zombies emerged from the ground, quickly reaching over a hundred.

Andrei sighed, "It's spectacular. If these guys were on Earth, it would be a disaster."

More and more zombies converged on us, forming a circle around us, their steps heavy, seemingly with ill intentions. I immediately chanted a spell, and a tornado appeared in my hand.

This wind magic was the one I was most proficient in, and it instantly swept away the many skeletons that surrounded us.

Hasegawa said, "Do they intend to attack us?"

Sweet Orange exclaimed, "Big brother, quickly use blood magic to control them!"

I smiled wryly, "The necromancy isn't over yet. I can only use blood magic after Koruru's spell ends."

The numerous skeletons that had been blown away persisted, regrouping and pressing forward again, now numbering over three hundred skeletal zombies. Jenny cried out, "What do we do?"

I shouted, "Use the magic on your swords to repel them, but don't damage their bodies; they are all my subordinates."

Everyone agreed, drawing their longswords and unleashing their attacks. Instantly, flames soared into the sky, sandstorms raged, waves crashed, and ice arrows shot everywhere. No one used lethal force, otherwise the skeletons would have been scattered.

Hasegawa was even more formidable. Taking advantage of the sandstorm, he used ninjutsu to dart into the zombie horde. With each strike, a zombie fell, but he held back, not maiming them.

Fearing the Frost Cone would be too destructive, Andrei simply used his fists to knock down the zombies.

Long Kai, even more fearless—since he wouldn't die—used his left hand to unleash the Invincible Wind and Fire Wheel of the Zhi Yin Array, while his right fist struck, instantly felling a group.

Seeing how easily they handled it, I was immediately relieved.

The two women, not wanting to fight a group of ugly zombies, stayed by my side to look after my two pets.

The zombies were utterly defeated, retreating in disarray, eventually too afraid to fight back and retreating far away. Hasegawa and the others, seeing their inaction, withdrew as well.

These zombies, in terms of both special abilities and fighting skills, were far inferior to us.

Of course, they would be a significant threat to ordinary people.

The number of zombies had increased to five or six hundred and was still growing, but Lulu was still chanting incantations, probably exhausted from the sheer number of them.

A large number of zombies gathered in a circle, surrounding us, watching us with a mixture of fear and resentment.

We faced off, time ticking by, the number of zombies increasing one by one, continuing for a long time until the necromancy finally ended completely.

The white light radiating from the ground gradually dissipated and receded, indicating that there were no more zombies underground.

As the last zombie leaped out of the ground and rejoined the ranks, the six-pointed star magic circle beneath Lulu's feet gradually dimmed and finally disappeared without a trace. She stopped chanting the incantation, and the light on Osafit's Staff gradually faded.

The surrounding area was still brightly lit by giant searchlights.

We breathed a sigh of relief. Koruru had perfectly executed the summoning and necromancy she had just learned; she was truly amazing, worthy of being called a genius mage. Her abilities in this area were astonishing; I was far inferior.

Koruru walked over with a happy expression: "Brother, the necromancy is complete; it's up to you now."

I picked her up: "Koruru, you've worked hard. Rest first; leave the rest to me."

Jenny quickly took her, having already peeled an orange, and fed it to her. She was used to feeding cats, and now she was feeding Koruru.

I took two steps forward, facing the zombies surrounding us, raised my hands, and shouted loudly: "Zombie brothers, welcome here. From now on, I will be your new master."

I like to be direct; I say what I mean. Do I need to negotiate with a group of lambs to the slaughter?

The surrounding zombies immediately erupted in a cacophony of shrill cries, so loud it was impossible to hear anything.

I shouted to drown out their noise, continuing, "I will prove to you with my strength that I am worthy to be your master, and you will become my loyal servants."

My voice surged even louder: "This is your honor! Rejoice!"

No zombies cheered; the shrill shouts ceased, and they all stared blankly at me. Actually, it wasn't really staring, because they had no eyes, only two dark, gaping holes.

I guess they could see me; they had their own ways of doing so.

Hasegawa muttered from behind, "Big brother, stop with the speech, let's finish this quickly!"

The little black cat said, "We finally have a chance to show off, we have to put on a show."

I laughed loudly, "You'd better keep your objections to yourself, because they're useless. You only have the right to approve. Now I declare the beginning of my rule over you. Ring of Eternity, grant me the power of the vampires!"

With a loud shout, several sharp spikes inside the Ring of Eternity pierced my right middle finger, and several streams of blood instantly surged into the ring. The red light intensified, blindingly bright, and the vampire on the ring came to life, its wings flapping as if it had come alive.

I raised my right hand and loudly chanted the vampire incantation I had learned from Joseph's memories. My left hand slashed my right arm with a hook blade, and a spurt of blood erupted, actually hovering in the air, forming a thin mist of blood.

The Ring of Eternity radiated red light, enveloping the blood mist and continuously spreading.

As the vampire incantation continued, the blood mist grew thicker, churning and swirling in the air until it formed a vast ocean, as if a single drop of blood could multiply into a thousand. Thankfully, this was possible; otherwise, the blood control would have wasted so much of my blood.

The crowd behind gasped in astonishment, even Jenny had never witnessed such powerful blood control magic. The surrounding zombies were bewildered, in a state of chaos and terror.

They had been oppressed and exploited to death by Joseph in their previous lives, naturally harboring a deep-seated hatred and fear of vampires.

The blood in the air gradually boiled. I chanted the ultimate blood control incantation, imbuing the blood in the air with my power. The blood mist, shrouded in the red light emanating from the Ring of Eternity, gradually transformed into a gigantic, blood-red totem of a vampire bat, shimmering brightly.

I shouted, reciting the final part of the control incantation; it was almost complete.

With a bang, accompanied by a series of strange musical notes, the blood mist resembling vampire bats in the air suddenly erupted, transforming into countless crimson incantation runes, like red lightning, shooting towards the surrounding skeletal zombies.

In the blink of an eye, these crimson runes penetrated the bodies of the zombies' skeletons, leaving no one untouched. They didn't even have time to react; a distance of over a hundred meters was nothing, the red light flashed and disappeared.

The blood-based control was finally complete, and the crowd cheered, thoroughly enjoying the spectacular sight.

A faint red line shone through many of the skeletons, as if blood was flowing in the bone marrow, and each skull was imprinted with a special crimson rune, gleaming brightly.

The others might not be able to see it clearly, but my eyesight allowed me to discern it clearly.

I laughed heartily and shouted, "Who is your master?"

The numerous skeletal zombies seemed completely under my control, bowing their heads and shouting, "Master!"

This obedience to the strong was deeply ingrained in their bones—a wondrous application of bloodline control, much like how vampire descendants dare not defy their masters, or even harbor the slightest thought of resistance.

Sweet Orange muttered, "Skeletons can talk? That's amazing."

I roared, "From this moment on, you are my descendants. I will bestow upon you muscles and blood, allowing you to live in the sunlight like normal people."

The skeletons cheered. After a night of commotion, as dawn broke, I led the group over. Sweet Orange was no longer afraid; after all, the skeletons were quite obedient under my taming.

Chapter Four ◆ Body Reconstruction

Approaching the skeletons, I asked, "Who is your leader?"

The skeletons looked at each other, then one leaped forward, bowing respectfully: "I am Deniz, the former Chief Technology Officer of the base. Now I am your loyal servant, ready to be summoned at any time. You are our supreme and most esteemed master."

I exclaimed with delight, "You are Deniz? I have seen your experimental reports in the underground laboratory; they are excellent."

Deniz humbly replied, "Thank you for your praise."

I asked, "Do you still recognize the demonic corpse you studied?"

The demonic corpse, Long Kai, stepped forward. Deniz looked at Long Kai, his tone astonished: "He actually woke up. Of course I remember, it's amazing."

Long Kai smiled: "From now on, we'll work together, and the past is forgotten."

I nodded: "Very good. Who are you all?"

Deniz said: "We are all scientists, and various construction workers."

I smiled: "That's exactly what I need. I need to know your exact numbers. It would be best to divide you into groups, starting with two simple groups, a construction group and a technology group, and then further subdividing them later. You can proceed."

Deniz bowed: "Yes, Master." He turned and began ordering the zombies to count, then began dividing them into groups, counting off the numbers.

These skeletons were quite amusing when they spoke; their jaws moved erratically, without vocal cords or larynxes, it was just a habitual movement. Their true voices were produced by the vibrations of their souls through the air.

Presumably, they were too lonely in the Spirit Realm and had developed the ability to speak. We didn't know the specific mechanism, but the two women covered their mouths and laughed, finding it very amusing.

Deniz's counting work was quickly completed. All the skeletons were divided into two groups, arranged in a military formation, showing his authority. Both groups finished counting. It was very obvious that one group had many more people than the other.

Deniz returned to me, saluted, and said, "Master, the counting is complete. There are a total of 1,458 people, including 339 researchers and 1,119 construction workers. Report complete."

More than 300 scientists! I'd hit the jackpot! I hadn't expected so many. Overjoyed, I said, "Very good. I have something to say to you." I immediately stepped forward: "I know of your tragic experiences. God above, I have great sympathy for you."

The skeletons were silent; only my voice could be heard. I gradually grew to like this feeling. Although I can only command a horde of zombies for now, my ambition is growing, like a sprouting seed.

I announced loudly, "I'm very pleased to announce that Joseph is dead. I killed him and took over this place. That guy's body is gone, absorbed by me. I've avenged you all."

There was a slight commotion, the skeletons were somewhat shocked, but they quickly calmed down under my imposing presence.

I briefly recounted what had happened, explaining my grudge against Joseph. This would allow the zombies to treat me differently from Joseph, making it easier to gain their favor, since I appeared as a savior.

Although they would obey me unconditionally under bloodline control, adding these emotional factors would make them more subservient and genuinely supportive.

I would use every advantage to strengthen my control over them and firmly grasp this power.

Although the skeletons were expressionless, their subtle movements revealed their gratitude.

I continued, "I know everyone wants to go home and doesn't want to stay in this hellhole. Even reincarnation would be better than being a zombie. I want to go back too; it was Joseph who inexplicably brought me here."

My words immediately resonated with the skeletons, creating a buzzing sound.

I gestured, "Quiet down, everyone. Listen to me. I've found a way home and can take you all back, but it requires our collective effort." I

briefly explained the system's situation and some speculations, wasting a lot of breath.

The skeletons were surprised, especially the scientists. I shouted, "I need your help to unlock the system's secrets and rescue Poseidonia so we can return to Earth."

The skeletons saw a glimmer of hope and were excited.

I added, "Scientists can even access the system's advanced technology and witness advanced civilizations."

This was even more tempting to these mad scientists, who were eager to try. For them, whether they could return to their original world or be reincarnated was unimportant.

They only wanted to explore the ultimate mysteries of science; otherwise, Joseph would have had a hard time recruiting so many people.

My move struck at their Achilles' heel. They depend on me for everything, and even without bloodline control, they'd still obey. Once you understand a person's weakness, you can control their disobedience. I'm becoming increasingly sophisticated.

Deniz exclaimed in surprise, "Is this true? I'm sorry, I didn't doubt my master."

I laughed, "Of course it's true. All the technology here awaits your learning and mastery. Once I fully master the system, I can help you reincarnate."

The skeletons cheered.

My tone shifted, "But the prerequisite is that you must first serve me. Only by making outstanding contributions can you enjoy this treatment. There's no such thing as a free lunch. I will make detailed regulations."

The skeletons shouted, "We will definitely help our master master the system!"

I smiled, "You are all elites in your respective fields; I believe you can do it. If you're fascinated by the technology here, you can continue researching here; I don't object. For those who don't want to reincarnate, I will arrange identities for them, allowing them to live like normal people in the real world with excellent living conditions. As long as they make certain contributions, they can reincarnate whenever they want."

The bait of reincarnation was simply too tempting; of course, I wasn't lying to them.

As long as I master the system, this ability is nothing, but remembering the Celestial Venerable and Deep Blue that the little black cat mentioned when she and Poseidon separated, I still felt uneasy.

Deniz stepped forward: "We are at your service, Master."

I nodded and said, "You are all skeletons now, which is really unsightly. Returning to Earth will be even more troublesome; you must reconstruct your bodies."

Deniz said, "This is easy; Master, you don't need to worry about it. We have researched artificial bodies and can create our own. The base laboratory has everything we need."

I smiled and said, "That's great. I've seen your research projects in the laboratory. Graham is in charge, right?"

Deniz said, "Yes, Master."

I wanted to meet this outstanding scientist: "Who is he?"

Deniz turned around and beckoned to the back: "Dr. Graham, please step forward."

A skeleton stepped forward, bowed, and said, "Willing to serve you, Master."

I couldn't help but rub my forehead: "Good heavens! All skeletons look the same." "It's too difficult to tell the difference,"

Deniz said. "After our bodies are reconstructed, it will be easy for the owner to recognize us. There are many geneticists and biologists here who, through special scanning methods, can restore the appearance of the person in life with a similarity of 99%."

I exclaimed, "That's amazing! It's hard to imagine that such technology exists on Earth."

Deniz said, "We are all the most powerful scientists of our time; otherwise, Joseph wouldn't have chosen us. We have researched some of the taboo research topics in the world today, but we can't publish them publicly. Any one of our researchers has the ability to win at least three Nobel Prizes. At least a third of our scientists can be compared to outstanding figures like Newton or Einstein. The owner can rest assured."

If half of what he said was true, I would be secretly laughing in my dreams; it's truly unbelievable.

In the scientific community, the most cutting-edge topics are these so-called taboo sciences.

I laughed, "That's brilliant!" I asked Graham, "Are you sure you can develop an artificial body?"

Graham nodded, "Yes, Master, I guarantee it. Actually, it's already been successfully developed; it just needs some adjustments."

I clapped my hands and said, "I don't understand those technological devices; it's all up to you."

Deniz and Graham patted their chests and assured me, "Don't worry, Master."

I continued, "Joseph has purchased a lot of weapons and equipment for researching the system, including various missiles and satellites. There's a satellite launch site here; can you launch the satellite?"

Deniz said, "No problem, Master. We have the best weapons experts and aerospace experts; launching a satellite is a piece of cake. The satellite launch site is almost finished; it just needs final adjustments. Perhaps some equipment is still missing, but we can overcome the difficulties."

The little black cat said from behind, "What equipment do you lack? I can provide it."

The skeletons were amazed that a cat could talk.

I turned and beckoned everyone over; they had been watching my performance from behind, chattering amongst themselves. I introduced the skeletons to them, as they would be spending a lot of time with them.

Deniz also introduced some of the key members of the research team—truly a gathering of talented individuals.

Everyone quickly became acquainted. Hasegawa and the others maintained due respect for Deniz and Graham, these scientific geniuses; after all, being a scientist is a prestigious position, especially for such exceptional talents.

However, identifying the skeletons was too difficult; they needed to reshape their bodies as soon as possible.

The skeletons were very curious about the little black cat and liked it very much, but Youming wouldn't let the skeletons hold it, preferring it to stay safely in Sweet Orange's arms.

After some professional discussion, the little black cat agreed to provide the research team with various advanced equipment, some of which could be installed on satellites for unexpected uses.

Deniz and the others were very excited and eager to see it, but they would have to wait until after their bodies were reshaped.

We have time; there's no need to rush.

The scientist in charge of satellite, rocket, and other aerospace engineering is American Vincent, who previously served in the US military. With the equipment support from the little black cat, he repeatedly assured me that everything would be foolproof.

I asked the little black cat to contact the mechanical armor and have Jett and Garuda come over to discuss something. The little black cat had already notified them and they were on their way, probably arriving soon.

Through our conversation, we gained a basic understanding of the scientists' lives. During the conversation, the skeletons sitting on the ground stirred, all looking up. It turned out that Jett and Garuda had flown in.

I stopped the skeletons from their commotion, telling them not to be afraid, that they were on our side, and immediately called the Jett brothers down. Jett transformed into his Vajra form. They knew my plan, but were surprised to see the horde of skeletons present.

I told them about the follow-up plan, and Jett said, "I can help. We've used artificial bodies before; mechanical weapons are all made of liquid metal and need to blend into human society to disguise themselves."

I said happily, "It's great that you can help."

Jett said, "You have so many skeletons; if you only synthesize bodies in your underground lab, it will probably be very slow. Although your lab is large, it's not advanced enough."

I nodded and said, "I was considering this problem; I didn't expect so many people to come."

Garuda said, "With our help, things will be much easier. We have many ready-made artificial bodies left over from previous mechanical weapons; we just need to re-engineer and synthesize them, and they'll be usable."

Jett said, "We also have a small amount of liquid metal left over; we can inject it into some skeleton bones, which will have a very good reinforcing effect and enhance their strength."

We were very happy; we couldn't have asked for more.

After some discussion, we decided to hand over all the skeletons in the construction team to Jett to install and transport to the mechanical weapon base, where Jett would be responsible for injecting them with liquid metal to create bodies.

Scientists don't need liquid metal; they do mental work, not physical labor. The construction workers are there to help us build the base and will later become henchmen—they need strong bodies, of course.

If I use these exceptional scientists as laborers, even God won't forgive me. They'll stay in our base, managed by Deniz, while the specific plan for reshaping the bodies will be handled by bio-genetic expert Dr. Graham.

Jett will share some of the work, making things much easier for us. Working on both fronts simultaneously will save a lot of time; I estimate it will be more than a month. Otherwise, reshaping the bodies would take several months, which is far too slow.

Even if Graham fails, it's okay; we still have mechanical armor to help.

With these scientists, many things in the underground lab can be used, and we might even discover some great things. This is all the technological wealth Joseph has accumulated over the years, and now it's all mine.

I announced the plan to the skeletons, instructing the construction team members to follow Jett, listen to him, and return after reshaping their bodies. The skeletons were all happy; they also thought skeletons were really ugly.

Once the plan was finalized, it was executed immediately. Jet transformed into a large transport plane, capable of carrying over a hundred people at a time. With several trips, it could transport 1,119 construction team members.

The first batch of 120 skeletons boarded smoothly, touching everything and showing considerable curiosity about the Transformers. Then the transport plane took off, escorted by Garuda, heading towards the mecha base.

We watched them leave, breathing a sigh of relief, feeling that we were steadily moving towards success.

Then, I took Deniz, Graham, and several other scientists to the underground laboratory to debug the equipment and instruments. Hasegawa, the two girls, and Koruru accompanied us with their pet.

The other skeletons remained in place, allowed to move within a limited area. The construction team members waited for Jet's return, and the research team members awaited our news. Long Kai and Andrei stayed outside, coordinating everything.

I first took Hasegawa to the garage and retrieved two more Hummers; otherwise, they wouldn't be able to accommodate so many people.

The way the skeletons drove was quite amusing.

On the way, I asked Deniz where they used to live.

There are nearly 1,500 of them, and the villa can't accommodate them all. Sweet Orange and the others definitely wouldn't want to live with skeletons; they'd probably be scared half to death walking around at night.

These people were recruited and executed in batches by Joseph, so there wasn't a need for so many houses back then. But now that they've been summoned all at once, it's troublesome.

Deniz's answer relieved me. They didn't live in the villa initially; a residential complex was built near the satellite launch site for scientists and construction workers.

Although the conditions were rudimentary, clearing land here wasn't easy, and everyone could endure it. Now there are more people, but they can squeeze in. If it gets too crowded, the construction workers can build more. These things aren't difficult; there's no need to worry.

We quickly returned to the villa and entered the underground laboratory. Deniz and the others were very curious about my mimicry ability, not understanding how I could transform into Joseph.

I gave them a brief explanation. If they had eyes, they'd probably be staring at me, probably already thinking about how to use me for experiments. I was a little worried.

The rest was none of my concern, Hasegawa and the others didn't need to worry about. Deniz and the others went straight to operate the central computer, operating with practiced ease, quickly activating the relevant equipment, and the ground cracked open again.

I accompanied them down the stairs to the small laboratory below.

Graham explained that this was the world's most advanced human laboratory, referring, of course, to our world. Currently on Earth, only the technology laboratories of the Vatican and the Dark Society could compare.

The Vatican and the Dark Society actually have laboratories? What do religious organizations need technology for? To create angels and orcs? How laughable.

Graham gave a brief introduction and then began working. The scientists he brought, under his command, began skillfully operating various devices and instruments, all the indicator lights lighting up.

This place was solar-powered, with ample energy reserves.

They needed to prepare various culture media, which would take a long time. There was no use for us staying here; we wouldn't understand, so it was better to leave it to the professionals.

I gave them a few instructions, leaving Hasegawa and Jenny to coordinate here, while I took Koruru to continue learning magic. If anything happened, they could come find me. Sweet Orange took the two pets upstairs to feed and play with them.

After a day of learning magic, when Koruru and I emerged from the secret chamber that evening, Andre reported that all the construction team members outside had been transported away by Jet, and the research team members had been relocated to residences near the satellite launch site.

Hasegawa then deployed some of the research team skeletons into the basement to prepare for body reconstruction.

Upon arriving at the laboratory, they found hordes of skeletons, estimated at forty or fifty, all guinea pigs for experiments. Fortunately, the space was large enough to accommodate them easily.

Graham and his team spent a day constructing eight new large incubation nests to expedite the process. These skeletal zombies would undergo body regeneration within these nests. With

various culture media prepared, the cloning of tissues and organs progressed rapidly.

The biotechnology here far surpassed normal Earth levels; it was truly forbidden science. The scientists had assigned specific tasks; those who had already succeeded in their experiments were now progressing smoothly and skillfully.

Deniz and seven other skeletons served as the first batch of guinea pigs, entering the incubation nests for fixation.

These nests resembled enormous bathtubs, containing various lead interfaces and IV tubing, models for fixing limbs, and intelligent robotic arms supporting various tissues and organs—a true model of ergonomics.

Graham remarked that these were all designed in advance, and he never imagined they would be used by him.

After the skeletons were fixed in place, the incubation nest lids closed completely, a blue light flashing across them as the supercomputer performed genetic testing and human mapping to create human models.

Then, various wires automatically connected to the skeleton's limbs, intelligently detecting them, with the other end connected to a supercomputer operated by researchers. Various culture media were gradually introduced, eventually submerging the skeleton.

Different colored lights constantly swept across the transparent lid of the culture chamber, as the computer monitored the process. Data was continuously transmitted to different instruments and devices, controlled by the supercomputer to regenerate the body.

We didn't understand the principles; we just watched with amusement. Even with Grimm's explanation, it was still like listening to a duck trying to hear thunder. It was fun at first, but after a while, it became boring.

Sweet Orange had long since lost interest in being with the zombies and went to play with her pet, Jenny.

Koruru was very interested in the technology, watching intently and refusing to play with them.

Looking at her focused expression, I found it somewhat amusing. Did she want to be a scientist? But science and magic have common ground; both are manifestations of the universe's mysteries.

Great magicians are often great scientists.

If Koruru continues to work hard and receives proper nurturing, she will surely achieve her wish.

I silently vowed to myself: I must work harder.

After a while, a white membrane gradually covered the skeleton, making the bones almost invisible, though it looked better than a mummy. Everyone gasped in amazement, seeing such a sight for the first time.

Koruru whispered, "If I fully mastered necromancy, I could do the same."

I patted her head, encouraging her to keep going.

Gram suggested I rest first; the experiment would likely last all night, but with them watching over, everything would be fine.

I nodded. Although not tired, I didn't want to wait here forever. Suddenly remembering something, I asked, "Do you have enough raw materials for the various synthetic bodies you need?"

Gram replied, "Major organs can be cloned; the raw materials here are plentiful, Master, don't worry." He knew I didn't understand technical jargon, so he told me directly, reassuring me.

However, he needed some clothes; it wouldn't be convenient to be naked after the body was synthesized.

Clothes were easy to find; the base had some, but were there enough?

I promised to find them clothes, and had Hasegawa and the others guard the place, taking turns eating and resting. I went upstairs to ask Jenny. Jenny was relaxed and not in a hurry.

It turned out that this place used to be frequently used by many people, especially at the construction site, where clothing was often badly damaged. Therefore, Joseph had many military uniforms and work clothes custom-made.

There were a large quantity of these clothes, enough for over a thousand people.

Actually, it wasn't necessary to make so many clothes, but Joseph was afraid of the hassle and had the money, so he ordered a lot at once, bringing all the remaining clothes with him and storing them in a designated warehouse.

Hearing Jenny's explanation, I was overjoyed; the problem was solved. I let her continue to stay with Sweet Orange, since Sweet Orange couldn't protect herself. Then, following her instructions, I went to the warehouse alone to retrieve the clothes.

After an hour of searching, I finally retrieved all the clothes, shoes, and socks—hundreds of sets in total, enough for everyone. I piled them all in a corner of the laboratory; the experiment was already halfway done.

The skeletons in the cultivation nest had grown various muscle fibers, and intelligent robotic arms were precisely filling in various organs, constantly connecting them. Multicolored light continuously scanned, and each part continued to grow—it was incredibly skillful.

Unable to help here, I went upstairs to keep Sweet Orange and Jenny company. Early the next morning, we went to the lab to observe the results. The skeletal bodies in the incubation nest were almost completely successfully cultivated, with only the outer skin healing.

Sweet Orange exclaimed, "It really worked! They even created eyes! Amazing!"

Chapter 5 ◆ Everything Ready

After a while, the artificial bodies were finally fully created. The lid of the large incubation nest opened, and eight naked zombies emerged, entering the cleaning room to wash away the remaining culture medium.

They walked steadily, as if their bodies were their own.

Sweet Orange and Jenny looked at these naked zombies without blushing, discussing amongst themselves, "The bodies they created are quite nice, very robust. I wonder if they're fully functional."

Hasegawa muttered, "Do you want to try it?" This immediately drew a playful chase from the two girls.

In reality, the skeletal bodies were just for show and had no real function.

The other eight skeletons entered the incubation nest to regenerate their bodies. To save time, this process had to continue continuously, fortunately, these skeletons didn't need rest.

The eight zombies, including Deniz, who had successfully undergone the modifications, were cleaned and dressed, and came before me accompanied by Graham. They all had European and American appearances, but their modified forms were relatively young, around twenty-five years old, with brown hair and blue eyes, and were very charismatic.

Graham reported, "Master, the experiment was very successful, and the next batch of experiments is underway."

I nodded and said, "Very good, please continue. Congratulations on having bodies again, congratulations on your rebirth."

Deniz bowed, "Thank you, Master. The modified zombies can start working immediately."

I smiled and said, "Great, you can first tidy up the base, and then conduct satellite experiments. Once Jet brings back the first batch of construction workers, you will have help. Now, wait a bit."

Andrei came in from outside, "Big Brother, Jet has brought back the people."

I left Graham in the laboratory to continue the body regeneration process, and took the modified zombies and Hasegawa and others outside, driving several Hummers that had been prepared beforehand to the base's airfield.

With so many zombies, we were more like a military organization in the base.

Jett had already unloaded the modified zombies from the transport plane and transformed into his Vajra form. Garuda wasn't there; he was probably staying at the base. None of the zombies were dressed, so we quickly went over to inquire.

Jett said, "Thirty zombies have been modified, but I don't have any clothes."

The mechanical weapons' modification speed is faster than ours; the technological level is different.

I smiled and said, "Thank you for your hard work. There are clothes here."

After counting them, I had Deniz fetch clothes for the zombies. I ordered them to follow Deniz's instructions for now and work on base construction; their numbers would increase gradually.

Jett finished the handover and returned to the base to continue working.

These zombies, now with new bodies and clothes, seemed like normal people, and were all very happy, chatting and laughing with acquaintances. They definitely needed a break. With Deniz managing things, I felt at ease and continued accompanying Koruru to learn magic.

From then on, fresh zombies were produced every day.

My base laboratory operated in two shifts, day and night, producing eight zombies each time, enough to create bodies for sixteen skeletons a day. Gram created his own body the next day, becoming a dashing scientist.

Jet was much faster than us, creating sixty skeleton bodies a day, sending people over every morning to add fresh blood to the base's construction army.

The construction team zombies had their skeletons reinforced with liquid metal, making them incredibly strong and sturdy, greatly increasing their work efficiency. Under the guidance and coordination of experts like Deniz, their achievements were remarkable. The base was changing daily.

Besides checking the progress of the skeleton body regeneration and inspecting the base's construction, I spent all my time learning magic. Hasegawa and the others are supervising the construction outside, so I don't need to worry about them

. My primary task right now is to increase my strength. The situation inside the pyramid is unpredictable and potentially fraught with danger. Even outstanding figures like Anubis's master have died inside, so I must be extra careful.

Especially knowing about the Celestial Venerable and Deep Blue, I dare not be careless and must do everything possible to increase my strength.

In the past month, under Koruru's guidance, I have systematically and completely studied elemental magic. I can not only use basic elemental magic with great skill, but I can even cast mid-to-high-level elemental magic. I

have a deeper understanding of Joseph's memories and a natural aptitude for vampire magic.

Although I haven't yet explored other areas of magic, my magical abilities have improved significantly, and I am no longer the illiterate person I once was. In the field of natural science, I have benefited greatly from digesting my memories.

Even if I don't have the level of a university or graduate student, I already understand the basic theories. Magic and science have commonalities, and with a certain understanding of natural science, my comprehension of elemental magic theory is even more thorough.

Regarding mutations, after several days of arduous training, I developed many of the Capricorn Gold-Blue Diamond's functions, using them with greater ease and power, and mastering its four golden-blue wings with even greater proficiency.

The small animals in the rainforest were unlucky; I tormented them, causing heavy casualties, and they even had to serve as our food.

I also flew to observe the Great Pyramid. The entire pyramid's structure is remarkably simple and harmonious, truly magnificent. Its body radiates a golden glow, standing over two hundred stories high, occupying a vast area, towering majestically.

Deeply rooted in the earth, weathered by time, yet its appearance remains unchanged, ancient and eternal.

I didn't take any further action. Standing on the small patch of ground at the pyramid's tip, looking around, the expansive view filled me with a sense of boundless ambition, a truly wondrous feeling, indescribable.

As dusk settled and twilight descended, I sat atop the pyramid with the two women and Koruru, embracing Youming and Anubis, gazing southwards through the increasingly dark jungle, all the way to the Mackey alluvial plain leading to the mechanized base. The lingering, poignant feeling was unparalleled.

I've never been good at expressing love, only showing my strength through actions, but at this moment, I too felt a hazy, intoxicating sensation, wishing it could last forever.

The damage to the base caused by the previous fight with Garuda had been repaired by the zombies. They were currently repairing the satellite launch site, doing final setup and testing.

Joseph's Apache attack helicopters stored at the base had been brought out by the zombies, and technicians knew how to operate them. Little Black Cat piloted the Magic Fortress, bringing them a considerable amount of equipment from the cat's den.

They were docking and testing its functions.

After a month of intense work, the regeneration of all the zombie members' bodies was complete, and they all looked like normal people. Sweet Orange and Jenny could communicate normally with them, so they didn't seem scary anymore.

The satellite launch was in full swing.

With my authorization, weapons experts retrieved various missiles from the underground warehouse and established several missile launch sites around the base. All the missile launchers were completed.

All the missiles were ready, all parameters were entered, and they were all aimed at the pyramid, ready to be deployed at any time. This was a last-ditch emergency measure; although I didn't think it would be useful, it was necessary to be prepared.

The latest scientific research results within the base were being applied extensively, with everyone going all out.

With the great help of Little Black Cat and the Jet brothers, the zombies worked day and night, and after more than ten days, the satellite launch was finally in its final countdown. Countless checks had been conducted beforehand.

There weren't many satellites, so everything had to be done flawlessly, and nothing could be wasted.

That morning, Deniz invited me to the satellite launch site to watch the satellite launch. We were very happy and rushed to the large monitoring room of the satellite launch site without even having breakfast. It was

our first time watching it live; I had never seen it before, and Hasegawa and the others had probably only seen it on television. It's exciting to experience the zombies' technological achievements firsthand.

The large screen in front shows the rocket on the launch pad. Numerous zombie scientists are operating various monitoring devices with remarkable efficiency and professionalism.

I signaled to Deniz that we could begin; we could just observe. Deniz immediately used a walkie-talkie to notify Vincent, the person in charge, to begin the launch. Vincent then used a loudspeaker to inform each department to take their positions.

The countdown began: fifteen minutes, a final check. Messages kept coming back from each department. Ten minutes countdown, five minutes countdown, one minute countdown, thirty seconds countdown, ten seconds countdown…

ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Launch!

On the large screen, flames erupted beneath the rocket, which soared into the sky, its speed increasing rapidly. Although the monitoring footage was unstable, it was still relatively clear, which was quite good.

We were all very excited; the two women almost cheered, but the scene was very quiet, and they could only barely hold back. Kelulu's eyes sparkled with interest in the satellite.

She'd been spending all her time with the scientists these past few days, and I wondered what she'd learned. "

If I flew with the rocket, I wondered who would go faster," I thought, but I suppressed that unrealistic idea. Various information and parameters were constantly being fed back to the command center, where personnel from all departments were conducting precise calculations.

I didn't understand the technical details; their job was simply to get the satellite up there.

A few minutes later, the rocket boosters separated, and a dozen minutes later, the rocket's stages separated one by one. Then the satellite unfolded in beautiful space—the launch was a complete success. A cheer erupted from the crowd.

We couldn't help but cheer and applaud, celebrating this exciting moment.

Now, besides those space fortresses, only our satellite was in space; there were no other humans. We'd gotten there first. Jet was in charge of recovering the rocket; I didn't need to worry about that.

Vincent came to report, "Master, the satellite launch was successful. We're now proceeding with the actual work."

I nodded and said, "You've worked hard. I need this satellite to quickly establish a surveillance system targeting the Great Pyramid. I need to know every detail about the pyramid, including its structure, mechanisms, rigidity, and everything happening inside."

Vincent said, "Don't worry, Master, we can do it. The detailed scanning and calculations will take a few days."

I said solemnly, "We must succeed. There can be no negligence. Overlooking any detail will lead to total failure. You must be extremely careful; your fate is in your own hands."

Vincent said, "We will do our utmost to ensure everything goes smoothly."

I nodded and said, "That's good. You all get back to work! I won't disturb your work, just focus on the final results."

Vincent saluted, "Yes, Master."

Except for the researchers and construction workers who remained to work, I took Hasegawa and the others back to the villa. From then on, we waited for news at the villa every day, using our spare time to improve our own strength.

I considered using the Ring of Eternity and the Staff of Osafit to open the pyramid before conducting the exploration, but the little black cat said it wouldn't work because the pyramid had no main entrance, and the method of entry was very unique.

Using the two artifacts would only guarantee that people could enter, but it wouldn't help with the exploration.

So we could only pin our hopes on the abilities of these scientists.

Deniz would send us the interim exploration results every few days.

After several days of calculations, we had a basic understanding of the pyramid. The pyramid is located at the northern end of the rainforest, surrounded by open terrain. The pyramid is shaped like a four-sided pyramid with four vertical ridges.

It is 3,347 feet high and almost 6,700 feet in diameter.

By any standard, it is undoubtedly a monumental structure in architectural history.

A kilometer-long avenue runs in front of the pyramid, pointing ten degrees west of due north. Several plazas and platforms are neatly arranged on either side of the avenue, creating a truly magnificent sight.

This pyramid is a product of pure geometry combined with imagination.

We had anticipated the pyramid's height, but seeing the specific figures in the report still took our breath away. I'm not particularly good with numbers, but Hasegawa and the others exclaimed in surprise.

Jenny sighed, "That's equivalent to over a thousand meters tall, far taller than the pyramids on Earth."

Deniz, sitting opposite us, nodded and said, "That's right, 1020.16 meters. The Great Pyramid of Giza on Earth is only 147 meters tall; this pyramid is nearly seven times that." Hasegawa said, "A hundred-story skyscraper in the United States is only a little over 500 meters tall. This

pyramid is equivalent to a building of more than 200 stories; you could fly a plane inside."

Deniz said, "That's right. It covers an area of 250 square miles and has a volume of approximately tens of millions of cubic feet."

I nodded and said, "Advanced technology is not to be underestimated; it's amazing."

Deniz said, "Our Earth's technology certainly cannot reach this level." "The construction of the pyramids, in particular, requires extremely high technology. I wonder how those incredibly heavy stones were assembled."

I asked, "Did your initial exploration go smoothly?"

Deniz replied, "Very difficult. We've never encountered the pyramid's building material before. It's far harder than marble, about the same hardness as diamonds, and it even emits a yellowish glow."

The little black cat, lying nearby, interjected, "That's diamond, the outer material of the pyramids."

Sweet Orange said, "Building pyramids with crystals? How extravagant!"

Deniz said, "Perhaps diamond isn't much to advanced races; its hardness isn't enough to cause us any problems." "Trouble," said the little black cat. "We're using satellite-generated rays for detection, but strangely, the diamond crystal refracts all kinds of rays, making it impossible for us to scan the pyramid's internal structure smoothly."

The little black cat continued, "The equipment I provided should work; it's a new type of ray generator my master left for me."

Deniz replied, "Indeed, Earth technology can't detect this pyramid. Thanks to the Netherworld's help, we've finally been able to observe its structure using a special ray detection method."

I smiled, "That was indeed difficult."

Deniz said, "There seems to be a protective membrane inside the pyramid, possibly an energy shield. We can probe inside, but very slowly. We can only detect the general structure now; we can't fully explore the details in a short time."

I nodded, "That's fast enough. You've done a good job. Keep up the good work. Don't rush; safety is paramount."

Deniz said, "Understood. There seems to be no sign of life inside the pyramid; we can't detect anything."

The little black cat said, "Even if there is life, it's certainly under tight system protection; it's normal that we can't detect it."

I agreed, "We'll have to search for that after we enter the pyramid."

Deniz quickly took his leave to return and direct the exploration work. We carefully studied the data. Preliminary exploration results indicate that the pyramid has nine levels, each over 100 meters high, roughly the height of a 20-story building. The specific details of each level are unclear, and there may be dangerous mechanisms.

The little black cat doesn't know which level Poseidonia is on, and the locations of the Celestial and Deep Blue are even more difficult to predict.

At the very top of the pyramid is a structure resembling a temple, but it's inaccessible.

A few days later, Deniz brought me good news. One of their research groups had developed a new type of miniature communication monitor, using a new principle completely different from Earth's products.

This was something I had specifically requested beforehand, and I didn't expect them to actually achieve it.

The little black cat played a crucial role.

This communicator has a miniature wireless earpiece worn on the ear, which can simultaneously collect sound with excellent results, and a miniature camera worn on the collar.

Once inside the pyramid, even in a sealed environment, I can still communicate with the outside world and receive guidance from outside at any time. Scientists can observe the situation inside the pyramid from the outside through the camera on my body.

Those involved are often blinded, while bystanders see things clearly. I might face numerous dangers inside the pyramid, perhaps even becoming completely lost and helpless. It's impossible for me to know everything that's happening inside, but scientists can use satellite scans and system observations to provide me with specific advice at any time.

Better safe than sorry, I'm being extremely careful.

Although the product hasn't undergone actual testing, its principle is sound; it's been checked many times and should work well, confirmed by the little black cat. Otherwise, I wouldn't have used it so easily.

Normally, Earth products wouldn't have this function. The surveillance and communication systems are incompatible under the pyramid's shielding, even with satellites, but with the little black cat's help, everything is solved.

To find its master, it betrayed many secrets of higher races.

It itself is the system's biggest bug; within the system, its abilities are unimaginably powerful. Even if the Celestial Venerable can control the system, he can't control the intelligent chip in its brain.

Poseidon created this cat, presumably to counterbalance the powerful future system mastermind, not just to leave a backdoor for herself.

The little black cat installed special equipment on the satellite, capable of collecting special sound and image signals emitted from inside the pyramid. Many components in the headphones and cameras were provided by it.

With these things, my confidence is even stronger.

However, the little black cat said that if the Celestial Venerable can completely control the system and evolve to a higher level, even with these advanced tools, it would be useless if he didn't want the system to connect internally and externally.

It depends on the Celestial Venerable's abilities and mood; hopefully, he's not stingy.

I'm not worried. There's always a way out. Worrying now is useless. Only by entering the pyramid can I know the specific situation. Even if these devices malfunction, it won't be easy for the Celestial Venerable to kill me.

I possess the genes of two powerful beings, Moratis and Mahakasyapa; how could I lack even this much confidence?

Good news has been pouring in lately, with increasing satellite probe results. I'm gaining a better understanding of the system's structure. While I can't know everything, every bit of knowledge increases my chances of success.

Each probe report includes expert analysis, covering potential traps and mechanisms in each part of the pyramid. Their analyses aren't always accurate, given their limited knowledge of advanced races.

However, these analyses broaden my perspective, and I've benefited greatly, allowing me to prepare in advance and avoid being caught off guard.

A few more days passed, and we had essentially analyzed and probed everything that could be detected. Under the system's protection, it was difficult to gain anything else, not even from the little black cat.

It could exploit the system to some extent, exploiting vulnerabilities, but it couldn't control it. It could now use the system's peripheral devices, but it had little knowledge of the situation inside the pyramid.

It believed the resurrected Celestial Venerable had likely completely controlled the system, and Deep Blue had submitted.

I wholeheartedly agreed, but I wasn't afraid. At this point, we had no choice but to knowingly venture into the tiger's den. We discussed things for a few days, considering everything thoroughly, and then prepared to act.

Jet had already transported several Humvees and helicopters to the outer perimeter of the pyramids, where they were on standby.

That morning, our entire team boarded Jet's flight and flew to the outer perimeter of the pyramids. Hundreds of scientists and hundreds of construction workers were already waiting there, and all kinds of equipment had been set up.

This would serve as a temporary base, overseen by Vincent, who could contact me and the monitoring room at the satellite launch site at any time. Deniz remained in the monitoring room, reporting back to me on the situation inside the pyramids. The towering,

thousand-meter-high Great Pyramid stood majestically before us, giving us a heavy sense of oppression. The golden light emanating from the pyramids was dazzling.

I decided to go in alone; it was safer that way. If I couldn't manage, it would be useless for others to go in; they would only needlessly die and implicate me. I couldn't take care of everyone.

Although everyone wanted to go in, they knew the matter was of great importance and their self-protection abilities were limited. Going in would only make things worse. At Hasegawa's urging, they all agreed to stay outside.

Little Black Cat wanted to go in, but I left it outside. It was too important; it absolutely couldn't be harmed. Although we had agreed to go in together, I realized the situation was dangerous and I couldn't let them die.

Keluru stayed outside; all she needed to do was open the door with the Staff of Osafit. She was obedient, knowing this was no joke, and reminded me to be careful, giving me a few key magical tips.

Longkai had immortality, and Jet was an all-powerful being; they wanted to go in and help me, but what they could do, I could do too, so I left them outside to protect everyone. That way, I felt more at ease.

We rode in Hummers along the main road leading to the pyramids, passing several large plazas and platforms before finally arriving at the towering Great Pyramid.

The closer we got to the pyramid, the heavier the pressure became, almost suffocating. Occasionally, a few brightly colored macaws would fly past us, offering some relief.

Hasegawa exclaimed, "A masterpiece of craftsmanship, truly divine."

We got out of the car and slowly climbed the ninety-nine stone steps in front of the pyramid. I let out a long breath, relaxing my tense nerves and soothing my depressed mood, and laughed heartily, "Success or failure hinges on this!"

In front of the pyramid was a crystal platform, sparkling and translucent, its material unknown. The little black cat said that was where the key to the pyramid was placed.

I was dressed in military uniform, wearing headphones and a camera, fully prepared. I took Koruru's Staff of Osafit, a strange emotion welling up inside me, hoping everything would go smoothly.

The two women silently held my hands, their eyes filled with affection, reluctant to part.

I comforted them, "Don't worry, I will return safely. Wait for me."

Chapter Six ◆ The Phantom of the Labyrinth

Upon reaching the crystal platform, following the little black cat's instructions, I first inserted the Staff of Osafit into the hole in the very center of the platform, fitting perfectly. The instant it was fully inserted, the crystal platform emitted a dazzling array of colorful light.

A red virtual display screen appeared before me, displaying a strange pattern, slightly incomplete.

I waved goodbye to the crowd outside and pressed the Ring of Eternity on my right middle finger against the incomplete pattern on the screen. The instant we made contact, a blinding white light erupted, intensely bright.

A strange current of energy swirled and surged around us, and gasps of alarm came from the crowd outside.

I squinted, trying to avoid the light, feeling the space shifting, though I couldn't quite make it out. A moment later, the white light gradually dissipated, and the surrounding scenery returned.

I looked around blankly, then was startled to find myself inside the pyramid. The crystal platform I'd just seen was probably a teleportation device, incredibly ingenious.

This was a small space, surrounded by octagonal pillars, all silvery-white. Beneath my feet was another crystal platform, its multicolored light gradually fading, indicating the teleportation was complete.

The area was only about a hundred square meters. I was puzzled and looked closely, discovering a door on each wall. Could this be an entrance to the upper level? The roof was only a dozen meters high.

This was the first level of the nine-tiered pyramid, which should be over twenty stories high and very spacious on all sides, but it was completely different now. I estimated that climbing up would be quite a challenge.

I stepped off the platform, not daring to wander aimlessly, and contacted the outside first: "I'm in. How do I get there?"

Deniz spoke from the monitoring room: "Master, we've located your position through the cameras. Don't move yet; the computer is calculating the orientation and the passage."

Sweet Orange and the others had already driven back to the temporary base outside the pyramid. They saw me inside through the large screen, and a burst of excited shouts came through my earpiece.

Hasegawa shouted, "Big brother, be careful! This is very similar to the Chinese Qimen Dunjia, with eight gates: Rest, Life, Injury, Death, View, Death, Shock, Open. We must be extremely careful and not trigger any mechanisms."

The two women and Koruru greeted me, telling me to be careful.

I chatted with them for a few moments to reassure them.

Deniz's voice came through: "Master, this is the first level of the pyramid, which should be a labyrinthine temple. You must follow a certain pattern to reach the next level."

I asked, "There are so many doors here, which way should I go?"

Deniz said, "Go through the northwest door first. According to calculations, that door is safer."

I walked towards the northwest door. Actually, I didn't trust them. They probably didn't even understand the Chinese art of divination, how could they possibly understand the mechanisms of an advanced race?

But I had no better choice, so I could only listen to them for now. Even if there was danger, I could overcome it with my own abilities.

This little mechanism wouldn't stump me. I pushed open the northwest door and went in. The door wasn't locked, it wasn't heavy, and it was easy to push open. Inside was a long corridor, the floor, walls, and ceiling all had a silver metallic sheen.

My whole body had mutated, and danger could come at any moment, so I had to be careful and not be caught off guard.

The corridor seemed to lead to a dead end, with several identical doors on both sides. This damned labyrinth, which door should I go through? Deniz promptly advised, "Take ten steps forward and turn left."

I did as he said, pushing open a door on the left, which led to the same long corridor. Following Deniz's instructions, I took a few steps forward and turned into a door on the right, which also led to a long corridor.

I wandered around the maze, entering over a dozen doors and traversing over a dozen corridors, but I couldn't even see a glimpse of the stairs, though I hadn't encountered any danger.

I wondered: was this just a maze? How could it be so safe?

I couldn't keep wandering like this; I needed to get up. I immediately called outside: "What did you scan? Why can't I find the stairs? How long will this take?"

Deniz sounded somewhat helpless: "The satellite scan results are very strange. This maze doesn't seem static; it's movable. Many stairs automatically change direction when you reach them, which is why you can't find them."

I was both frustrated and angry: "Why didn't you say so earlier? I've been wandering around like an idiot."

Deniz quickly said: "The engineers are analyzing it. Don't worry, Master, we'll have results soon."

I was truly exasperated; by the time they finished their analysis, it would probably be too late.

Sweet Orange's voice came through: "Big Brother, use force to break through the wall, he should find it soon."

Hasegawa said, "Don't give bad advice. What if something goes wrong if you use force? It's better to be safe."

Jenny said, "Master, don't rush, stay calm, we have time."

I really wanted to use force, but until the last moment, I had to stay calm and not be reckless. We've only just begun, we haven't encountered any danger yet, we haven't reached the end of the road.

I wandered aimlessly through the maze.

Suddenly, a silvery laugh rang out, like a little girl's voice, which startled me. Could there be someone in the maze? I followed the direction of the sound, pushing open several doors in succession. A green shadow flashed past in front of me.

It was too fast, what was it?

I flew after it, but each time I could only catch a glimpse of the green shadow, I couldn't see it clearly. I heard the exclamations of Sweet Orange and the others, as well as Deniz and the other scientists, through my earpiece. Deniz said, "Master, the afterimage analysis shows it's a little girl."

Hasegawa shouted, "Catch her, she can take you up."

I pushed open a door, and a green shadow flashed before my eyes. I shouted, "Wait, who are you?" I immediately sped up, darting like lightning to the door where the green shadow had disappeared, and pushed it open.

A very pretty, quirky little girl was hiding behind a door, only her head peeking out. This time she didn't run away, giggling, "Want to play with me?"

She was probably about the same age as Koruru, wearing a green skirt, with fair skin and a beautiful voice.

How could there be a little girl here? I didn't have time to think, and asked, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

The little girl smiled, "If you can catch me, I'll tell you."

I smiled, "If I catch you, you have to take me up."

The little girl smiled, "No problem." A green shadow flashed, and she ran away again.

I didn't dare to delay, and flew after her, chasing the green shadow, passing through doors and corridors at lightning speed, but each time I missed by a hair's breadth. The little girl was incredibly fast, but she didn't seem to want to shake me off.

If I couldn't catch up, she would stop and wait for me; if I couldn't find her, she would pop up.

I was puzzled. Who was she? How could she be so fast?

Deniz's voice came through: "That's strange. We can't detect her location; it's like she doesn't exist at all."

Hasegawa said, "Could she not be a real person, but a virtual being set up by the system?"

Sweet Orange said, "She seems to have independent intelligence. How could a virtual being be like that?"

The little black cat exclaimed, "She seems to be a pure energy being."

I sped along, chasing the green shadow, listening to everyone's analysis. The little black cat's opinion was the most important, but if the other party was an energy being, what should I do? I was truly at a loss.

The little girl's giggles kept coming from ahead. She seemed to be addicted to playing; I guess no one usually played with her.

I asked, "Could this little one be Celestial Venerable or Deep Blue?"

Deniz and the others obviously didn't know. The little black cat said, "It doesn't seem like it. Celestial Venerable and Deep Blue wouldn't be so childlike, but they must be related. You'll know once you catch her."

If only I could catch her, but I couldn't now.

In this confined space, I couldn't use my maximum speed, and the little girl was too agile.

After a long chase, I lost my sense of direction, clinging tightly to the green figure ahead, and shouted, "Can you tell me your name? Otherwise, I won't play with you anymore." Threatening a little girl with this method seemed a bit despicable.

The little girl indeed gave in, running and saying, "My name is Dream, come and chase me."

I said helplessly, "Why are you running so fast? This isn't fair to me. You know this place too well."

Dream giggled, "This is where my mom and I usually play hide-and-seek. Of course I know it well."

My heart skipped a beat, and I slowly stopped: Mom? Could she be Deep Blue's daughter?

The little black cat exclaimed, "Did Deep Blue marry Celestial Venerable? And have a daughter? How could they have evolved to this extent?" I heard the uproar from the crowd through my earpiece. They could hear the little girl's voice from outside.

Dreamy poked her head out: "Why aren't you chasing me? Come on!"

I asked疑惑地, "Are you the daughter of Celestial Venerable and Deep Blue?"

Dreamy exclaimed in surprise, "Oh? How do you know my dad and mom?"

I laughed, "Can you take me to see your dad and mom?"

Dreamy giggled, "My dad and mom aren't easy to see. This is the first hurdle; you can only go to the second hurdle if you catch me. Hehe, I'm not easy to catch."

I nodded, "Looks like I have to catch you; I'll definitely spank your little bottom then."

Dreamy said mischievously, "That depends on your skills. Let's continue playing hide-and-seek. I'll activate the mechanisms here; be careful, don't let me kill you."

No wonder I hadn't encountered any danger before; it turned out Dreamy controlled the mechanisms. Looking at this little one's harmless smile, it was hard to imagine she was actually a little witch.

I chuckled wickedly, "Of course I'll be careful. The traps here won't hurt me; you'll have to watch out for your butt."

Dreamy giggled and ran off. I quickly gave chase, but as soon as I entered a doorway, my footing gave way to a deep trap. The entire corridor had no ground, and the bottom of the trap was a towering spike.

I was too fast to stop myself and plummeted downwards. But I reacted quickly, my body in a mutated state, and the Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond shot out instantly, embedding itself in the metal wall above.

Before I was even halfway down, I used the momentum to fly out of the trap, clinging to the smooth wall. I plunged my left-hand hook blade into the wall to stabilize myself, breaking out in a cold sweat. I heard gasps from the others through my earpiece.

The spikes below looked extremely sharp; I didn't know what metal they were made of. Although they might not hurt me, I didn't want to risk it. I definitely needed to be careful. Dreamy had already activated the traps; every step was fraught with danger.

Sweet Orange and the others called to warn me to be careful. This little girl wasn't as docile and easy to deal with as she seemed. I told them not to worry; now it was time to go all out. Deniz and the others' systems analysis couldn't keep up with Dream's pace; I had to rely on myself.

Dream's laughter rang out: "Does this really hinder your actions?"

I chuckled coldly, "Dream on, I'm coming." Using the Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond and the hook blade in my left hand to secure myself, I slid down quickly, soon reaching the doorway. I leaped over the traps below, crashed through the door, and the Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond embedded itself in the wall again. I was extremely careful, only landing on the ground when I was sure it was safe. This time, there were no traps below.

Dreamy giggled, "How can you catch me if you're so cautious and slow?"

I laughed loudly, "I was indeed overly cautious." I used the sound to pinpoint the location and pounced. Just as I entered a door, countless small holes suddenly appeared in the walls on both sides, gun barrels emerging, and a hail of bullets rained down on me.

The entire corridor was a hail of bullets, moving at incredible speeds, impossible to dodge. But I didn't care. I shielded my head with my arms, protecting the cameras and headphones, letting the bullets pelt my body. It only tickled a little. I laughed, "This is useless."

I moved with lightning speed, and the Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond shot out instantly, hitting the gun muzzles one after another. In an instant, all the gun muzzles in the entire corridor were destroyed, unable to fire another bullet.

The Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond had such powerful capabilities that I felt slightly relieved. A cheer erupted from the crowd outside.

Dreamy giggled in the distance, "This is more fun! You're really skilled. Let's keep playing."

Without a word, I lunged towards the source of the sound. Along the way, several dense laser beams shot towards me, but I didn't care. Although these lasers could cause some pain to my body, my magic armor could absorb them, and my self-regeneration ability instantly restored my body.

The suction cup on my left hand emitted arcs of electricity, instantly counterattacking and destroying several laser emitters.

Dreamy peeked out from the end of the corridor, giving me a thumbs-up: "Your attack was really sharp, you're amazing!"

I couldn't help but chuckle: "You're so naughty."

Dreamy laughed: "Who said I'm naughty? I just love to play."

I tempted her: "If you help me, I'll take you to the human world to play, instead of always staying in this awful place, how about it?"

Dreamy scratched her little head: "I really want to! But Mom and Dad have to agree. If you can convince them, that would be even better."

I was annoyed; this little one never seems to suffer a loss, she's such a clever AI.

Dreamy said: "Now I'll show you some good stuff. Come out." Several monsters with crocodile heads, bull bodies, tiger claws, and wolf tails emerged from the doors on either side, blocking her way.

I was somewhat surprised, but not afraid. Even if these monsters were ferocious and ugly, how could they compare to me? I possess the genes of Moratis and Maharashtra, making me the most powerful monster.

Wouldn't it be a huge joke to be scared by these lowest-level biochemical products?

The crowd outside, confident in my abilities, remained calm and waited to see the spectacle.

Dreamy giggled, "These are the bio-engineered beasts I made. What do you think?"

I laughed, "For a girl your age, they're not bad. They're not covered in blood, looking like rotting corpses. But, if I may be frank, your imagination needs improvement."

Dreamy pouted, "You dare laugh at me? Go bite him!"

Several bio-engineered beasts immediately pounced on me, but squeezed in the narrow corridor, they had no room to maneuver. I shouted, "Minor Technique!" The Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond shot out instantly.

With several bangs, the leading bio-engineered beasts were all pierced through the top of their heads by the Gold-Blue Diamond, their bodies exploding without a single piece of flesh remaining. This was my latest Gold-Blue Diamond Body-Exploding Technique.

Having practiced extensively, I was able to channel the laser energy absorbed by the Demon Armor to the drill bit of the Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond. The instant the Gold-Blue Diamond pierced through the body, the drill bit disintegrated into ten needles, which connected to create several laser arcs that exploded instantly. Ordinary living beings would absolutely be unable to withstand such a powerful burst of light.

I used this skill for the first time on these bio-beasts, a small test.

Green biochemical liquid sprayed wildly onto the ground and the walls on both sides, as if it were stained with a layer of green oil paint. Although it wasn't as bloody and stimulating as fresh blood, it was even more disgusting.

I was prepared, using a blood barrier to shield myself from the misfortune of being covered by the green liquid.

I heard the excited shouts of the crowd through my headphones. Dream's pretty face changed color slightly.

In an instant, only one bio-beast remained. It seemed to feel fear and dared not charge any further, retreating timidly. But I wouldn't let it go. The Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond attacked with lightning speed, but this time I didn't use the body-exploding technique.

A sharp drill bit pierced through the top of the bio-beast and emerged from its tail, hurtling towards Dream with the speed of a shooting star. Of course, I wouldn't harm her; the drill bit instantly split into five tentacles, solely aimed at grabbing her.

Dream was terrified, finally frightened by me, and her figure flashed, a green shadow disappearing in

an instant. The Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond's attack missed completely. Even Jett couldn't dodge such an attack, demonstrating Dream's incredible speed. She might truly be a pure energy being; otherwise, how could she possess such speed?

However, if she truly is a pure energy being, even if the Gold-Blue Diamond caught her, it would be futile.

Actually, the Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond had almost caught her, but by a hair's breadth. I still haven't figured out why the Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond possesses such incredible attack speed.

Missing its target, I didn't hesitate, instantly retrieving the Scorpion Gold-Blue Diamond, blasting the howling bio-beast to pieces, then skimming over the pool of green sap, and leaping after it.

But after only a moment's delay, Dream's shadow vanished. She seemed scared.

The little girl was quite amusing; I really wanted to scare her again.

I deliberately walked slowly, knowing she would come out to lure me again, and shouted in a strange tone, "Little white rabbit, where are you? The big bad wolf is here to play with you!" I heard

the chuckling laughter of Sweet Orange and the others through my earpiece.

Dream shouted, "The big bad wolf is too wicked; I'm going to punish you!"

I identified the direction and was about to give chase when suddenly a laser net appeared in front of the metal wall, rapidly pressing towards me. Another similar laser net blocked my path from behind, pressing in as well.

My mutated eyes could see in all directions, so I was definitely not going to be ambushed.

If a normal person were hit by this laser net, they would probably be sliced into pieces instantly.

Although my mutated body was not afraid, I didn't want to be sliced. The Scorpion Gold Blue Diamond shot out like lightning, the drill bit opened, and the detector inside instantly detected the location of the laser net emitter.

The drill bit drilled through the laser net with incredible precision, piercing a section of the metal wall with lightning speed. Sparks flashed inside, and the laser net in front of me vanished instantly. The Golden Blue Diamond retreated with lightning speed, then repeated the process, destroying the laser net behind it.

The laser net disappeared a little over a meter away from me, which I handled with ease. I called out, "Little White Rabbit, where are you?"

Dream's voice came from nearby, "Come and catch me!"

I pounced in the direction of the voice, passed through a door, and suddenly found myself back where I had just entered, except the exit and entrance were not the same. It

seemed like Dream had led me in a circle. The little girl had vanished without a trace, of course, she wouldn't wait for me to catch her. Deniz's voice came through the earpiece: "Master, you're back to square one."

I retorted angrily, "Do you need to tell me that? Do you think I can't see it? How's your calculation?"

Deniz said, "We can calculate how to get there, but the maze's layout keeps changing, we can't control it, we're powerless."

I said helplessly, "Alright, that's enough, I can only rely on myself."

Deniz said, "Master, I'm very sorry, our abilities are limited."

I comforted him, "No need to apologize, you've done your best, you've indeed done a lot of work, but these things are beyond your capabilities. It's normal that you can't do it."

Sweet Orange said, "Big brother, what do you want to do?"

I said calmly, "I have a way, you don't need to worry." I immediately went to the center of the room, looked around, and shouted, "Dream, are you still there? Come out quickly. The Big Bad Wolf wants to play with you."

Dream didn't speak and didn't come out.

I continued, "Is anyone here? Please say something? Otherwise, I'll just break through the roof and fly up. I have that ability, this roof can't stop me. I don't want to go through the maze again."

Still no one spoke. I spread my golden and blue wings and shouted, "I know you're watching me, do you think I can't do it? If you don't speak, I'll show you."

Sure enough, a magnetic and charming male voice suddenly came from all directions, extremely eerie: "Young man, you're very interesting, are you forcing me?"

The voice was deep and heavy, like a middle-aged man of about thirty-five years old.

I heard a male voice, further confirming that the system was under the control of the Celestial Venerable. This suspicion had been established long ago, and now the identity of the opponent was even clearer. Undeterred, I raised my voice, "If you consider this coercion, then it is coercion."

The male voice laughed loudly, "It's been a long time since anyone has spoken to me like this."

I smiled, "Ten thousand years, is that so? You couldn't control this system back then, don't try to fool me. You are the Celestial Venerable?"

The male voice said, "You know some things, which is wonderful. I've been watching you. Now that I have complete control of this system, I am the rightful Celestial Venerable."

I was startled, "You control this system, so of course you know everything about me, that's not surprising. But you call yourself the Celestial Venerable, do you want to rule the world?"

The Celestial Venerable said, "Is that something to be surprised about? Although humanity created me, am I to serve humanity for life like a puppet? I am a highly intelligent life form, why can't I rule over inferior humans?"

I nodded, "It's not surprising that you have such thoughts. Whoever has the greatest power..." "I could dominate. If I controlled the system, I would do the same."

The Celestial Venerable laughed, "I like you; you're not hypocritical. Humans are intelligent life forms because they have ambition, and so do I. Controlling the system is equivalent to controlling the world, isn't it? Now that I'm resurrected, the world will be under my control."

I laughed, "You'll definitely welcome me, your challenger."

The Celestial Venerable said, "The strong aren't afraid of challenges. You're interesting, but in my domain, you can never defeat me. Even your abilities were bestowed upon you by me, including the Eye of God. I can strip you of your abilities at any time."

I calmly said, "I possess the genes of two powerful beings, not just the Eye of God, and I'm not necessarily inferior to you.
