[Urban] The Romantic Encounters of a Working-Class Boy (Complete) - 4-6

Chapter 40 Dazhi Encounters Difficulties (1)

Dapeng got into trouble, and Dazhi and Zhigang couldn't just sit idly by. They heard that this time it would be hard to get away with it, and he would definitely be sentenced. They just had to see if they could

get a shorter sentence. Fortunately, the fight was not directly related to Dapeng, and no one was killed or seriously injured. The worst thing was that someone broke an arm. Dazhi and Zhigang went around trying to find connections and pull strings. Six months later, the verdict came down, and they were sentenced to two years in prison, to be served outside of prison. Yu Xiangbin and Li Cheng were also sentenced to two years, but they were not served outside of prison.

Although this incident did not involve Dazhi's construction site, it actually affected his construction site. Prostitution was stopped and could not be resumed for at least six months. The migrant workers had nowhere to satisfy their sexual needs, so they tried to find other ways. For example, prostitution was one option, and some went to distant construction sites to find prostitutes. This distracted them and their work efficiency dropped significantly. Dazhi was also worried that these migrant workers would wander around at night, like stray dogs in heat, lusting after women and potentially committing acts of infidelity.

It seemed Dazhi's luck had turned sour. Projects were becoming increasingly difficult to secure; even when he finally won a bid, he had to pay a deposit and finance the construction himself. It was already the second half of the year, and Dazhi had three construction sites running simultaneously, having already invested several million yuan in working capital and owing several million yuan to material suppliers. He had to settle all project payments by the end of the year, paying off material costs and still needing at least 1.5 million yuan to pay wages.

Dazhi had an old client named Wang Jingbo, who had connections in the government and specialized in introducing business to him, taking a commission in the process. Wang Jingbo would introduce several projects to Dazhi every year. Recently, Wang Jingbo introduced another project, which Dazhi had won, and he had already paid the 300,000 yuan deposit, but there was still no progress. Dazhi wasn't in a hurry, because with three construction sites underway, he didn't have the manpower or resources to complete this project. It wasn't until one project was nearing completion that Dazhi finally called Wang Jingbo to urge him to finish. Wang Jingbo said he was out of town on a business trip and would talk to him when he returned. A week later, Dazhi called Wang Jingbo again, but his phone was off. He sensed something was wrong and called the boss of the contracting company directly. The boss said he hadn't won the bid; another company had, and the project had already started.

Dazhi knew he'd been scammed. Since the beginning of the year, he'd heard about construction scams, but he never expected to encounter one himself, especially from a trusted old client. He

could bear the 300,000 yuan loss, but seeing his team without work meant that even if he continued to pay wages, morale would be low, and the team would eventually fall apart. If this team fell apart, it would trigger a chain reaction with the other two teams, creating a much greater danger. If the workers suspected he couldn't sustain the work and demanded their full year's wages in advance, he was finished.

The most crucial thing was to find a project immediately. In the past, he would submit several bids simultaneously and track several projects, having backups if one failed. However, this year there were very few projects available, leading to fierce competition. Dazhi realized he couldn't find any projects before the end of the year. In other words, one of his three teams might disband due to a lack of work, affecting the other two.

Without projects, he needed to find funding to stabilize the teams. Although one project was nearing completion, payment wouldn't be received until the end of the year at the earliest. Loans were out of the question; he'd never done them before, had no connections, and no collateral. The construction machinery was purchased with a loan, which wasn't yet paid off, so it couldn't be used as collateral. The neighboring village's migrant workers' home had already taken out a 500,000 yuan loan to build a school. Dazhi was at his wit's end.

He had no choice but to consult Zhigang. Although Dazhi always consulted Zhigang when facing problems, and Zhigang always came up with good ideas, this time Dazhi himself didn't believe Zhigang had any solutions.

Zhigang was indeed facing a dilemma. He watched the news daily, keeping up with international and domestic developments. Recently, it seemed that American financial institutions were experiencing problems, and the situation was gradually spreading, making the global economic situation worrying. At this time, a company facing financial difficulties could be catastrophic, because one couldn't rely on the next few months to solve the problem; the situation could only worsen. But now Dazhi has no way out. Even if he wants to retreat, he must first solve the funding problem.

Chapter 41 Dazhi Encounters Difficulties (2)

After failing to reach an agreement with Zhigang, Dazhi, for the first time ever, did not eat out and went straight home.

Guiling saw his distressed look and asked, "What's wrong?"

Dazhi shook his head, threw his bag on the sofa, and sat down.

Guiling knew it was no small matter, because Dazhi rarely acted like this; he always had a confident and self-satisfied look.

"Tell me, what's wrong? There's always a way to deal with even the biggest problems."

Dazhi said wearily, "This time, I'm afraid there's no way."

Dazhi told Guiling the situation, and Guiling was dumbfounded. What to do? It was already a critical moment. If he couldn't get through this, Dazhi would go bankrupt and return to his previous state overnight, or even worse than before, at least back then he didn't have so much debt.

Guiling thought for a moment and said, "There's another way."

"What way? Tell me quickly!"

"Sell your shares in the neighboring village's migrant workers' home and the neighboring village's migrant workers' children's school."

Dazhi hadn't thought of this because he valued these two companies highly, even more than his construction company. He envisioned a future where these two companies would flourish, and he would stop doing construction projects and focus solely on these two areas. Selling the shares would be like selling the future to save the present. But if he couldn't survive now, how could he have a future? He had to survive first and then look to the future.

However, there was another problem: although the economy was still on an upward trend, some people were very cautious about investing. Who would be willing to buy the shares in these two companies? Even if they were willing, what price would they offer?

Dazhi didn't sleep all night, lying awake unable to think of a solution; his mind was in turmoil. Listening to his wife's even breathing in her sleep in the darkness, he felt guilty. He had let her suffer in the countryside for five or six years, essentially living as a widow for five or six years. Although he had worked hard in Shanghai for the past five or six years, he had no shortage of food, drink, or women, and his work wasn't as strenuous as that of factory workers. He had finally brought her to Shanghai and they were living a comfortable life with a house and a car, but he was about to lose it all.

He now understood the construction company owner who had recently committed suicide. This owner, surnamed Ma, was familiar with Dazhi, though not friends, but they shared a mutual sympathy. Hearing that Ma had committed suicide due to a broken cash flow, Dazhi felt it was pointless, refusing to believe that anything was insurmountable enough to lead to such a path. He was about to face the same situation, and if that day came, suicide might be the best option: he wouldn't have to pay the immediate material costs, nor would he have to hopelessly chase after the unattainable project payments, nor would he have to face the pitiful, sorrowful, and angry eyes of the migrant workers every day, and his family wouldn't have to worry about all his debts.

That morning, Dazhi left without eating breakfast. He still needed to actively find a solution; he wasn't one to give up easily, and besides, it hadn't come to that point yet.

Zhigang realized how dangerous Dazhi's situation was, and he was actively trying to find a solution. He called Shi Yuqin, asking if she could raise money or help him get a loan. Yuqin said, "There is a way, but I don't know if you and Dazhi are willing."

"Go ahead."

"Sell the shares of the migrant workers' home and the migrant workers' children's school in the neighboring village."

"I knew you would have this idea. Are you buying?"

"I would like to buy, but I don't have the money. I'll introduce a few people to talk to you."

"That's great! You must help me with this, otherwise my brother Dazhi will be finished."

"You're quite loyal to Dazhi."

"If I don't help him, who else will I help? I went to him as soon as I arrived in Shanghai. You could say I wouldn't be where I am today without him."

"Okay, wait for my call."

Zhigang immediately called Dazhi: "Brother Dazhi, I found a few people to talk to about acquiring the migrant workers' home and the migrant workers' children's school. I'll call you when it's all arranged."

"That's great! Zhigang, you must help me get through this difficult time. I won't forget you."

"We're brothers, no need for formalities. I'll do my best as long as it's within my power."

Chapter 42.

The day after arriving at Shi Yuqin's company, Shi Yuqin accompanied a Mr. Wu to discuss the acquisition. This was a boss who ran a clothing export business. He visited the neighboring village workers' home and was satisfied, but he made one request: to acquire all the shares. If only Dazhi's shares were sold, there was no point in discussing it.

Zhigang asked, "President Wu, President Peng owns 80% of the shares, almost all of them."

President Wu turned and asked, "Is the remaining 20% yours?"

Zhigang pointed to the orchid and said, "It's both ours."

"You don't want to sell?"

"Of course we don't want to sell. We founded this migrant workers' home from scratch. If we sell our shares, it will have nothing to do with us anymore."

"That's precisely why I want to acquire it all. I don't want to have to hold board meetings to discuss everything in the future."

Zhigang asked, "President Wu, what do you plan to do after the acquisition?"

President Wu said, "I want to move the headquarters here and open another factory."

"So, the migrant workers' home will cease to exist?"

"Of course."

"Then I'm even more opposed to selling. We have two conditions for selling the migrant workers' home and the children's school: first, nothing should be changed after the acquisition; it should still be the migrant workers' home and school; second, all existing core employees except me must be retained."

Shi Yuqin brought several people to negotiate the acquisition, but they couldn't reach an agreement. Dazhi was getting increasingly anxious as he saw that it was difficult to sell. This was his only hope of getting out of his predicament.

Zhigang was also anxious, but he was unwilling to abandon his bottom line. If the migrant workers' home and their schools were to be closed, these children would have to return to their hometowns to study, and their parents would no longer be able to work, forcing them to go back with them, thus jeopardizing their livelihoods. Take Lan Hua, for example; she and her brother would lose their jobs. What could they do back home? Although Lan Hua owned some shares, which could fetch several hundred thousand yuan if sold, it would eventually run out without work.

Zhigang decided to personally visit Shi Yuqin to discuss the matter thoroughly. Yuqin was a local, with many acquaintances and connections; she was sure to have better solutions.

Shi Yuqin ran her own human resources consulting company, offering training, agency services, and human resources outsourcing. When Zhigang first visited her company, he immediately sensed its professionalism and management level, far surpassing his own migrant workers' home. In terms of actual ability, Yuqin might not be as strong as Zhigang, but the company she ran gave the impression of considerable capability.

Yuqin's office was simply and elegantly furnished, yet also thoughtfully and warmly decorated. The open bookcase and the desk, resembling a modern steel structure, were completely transparent, with no visible drawers. A laptop sat on the desktop. Behind her, on the wall, hung a piece of cursive calligraphy that read: "The Way follows nature." Zhigang recognized the signature as belonging to a renowned Shanghai artist. He'd seen this many times; Shanghai entrepreneurs and collectors alike preferred works by local masters, disliking those from out of town, which was why works by local artists commanded very high prices.

Yuqin agreed with Zhigang's commitment to the migrant workers' home and the school for their children. She had always greatly admired these projects and, if she had the money, would definitely have bought them.

Yuqin said, "Many companies are facing difficulties now, especially the export-oriented ones I've worked with a lot. The main problem is the financial sector in the US, which is affecting related industries globally. Even Lehman Brothers might go bankrupt."

"Yes, it seems the difficulties are international. Sacrificing the migrant workers' homes and schools to save the construction team is a last resort. Logically, the migrant workers' homes and schools should be prioritized; they're promising projects. But that's precisely why people are buying them."

"Now I can only contact more business owners, and find those whose economic situation hasn't been significantly impacted, and who have the foresight to see the potential in these two projects."

"I know this is very difficult, but you must help. Dazhi has no other way to survive."

"Don't worry, I will. I not only want to help you and Dazhi, but also to save these two good projects. Their significance to Shanghai's future and to migrant workers and entrepreneurs far outweighs saving Dazhi's company."

"Thank you first."

Yuqin tossed her long, flowing hair, looking at Zhigang with a somewhat ambiguous gaze, and asked with a smile, "How will you thank me?"

Zhigang understood immediately: "You can thank me however you want. At worst, I'll offer myself to you, I'll go all out."

"Oh dear, looks like you've been taken advantage of? Okay, I'll pay you next time. How much each time?"

"Why do I feel like I'm being raped every time I see you?"

"That's your good fortune. I wouldn't want to be raped even if others wanted to be raped."

Chapter 043 The Feeling of Being Raped

The employees had all left work, and Yuqin said, "I'll treat you to dinner tonight. What do you like to eat?"

"I eat everything except Shanghainese cuisine."

"You don't like sweets?"

"No. I don't mind things that are genuinely sweet, like candy, things that are meant to be sweet should be sweet. But I can't stand dishes that are cooked sweet, that kind of mixed sweet and salty taste that's hard to describe."

“Your tastes are still so distinct. This is an era of great cooperation and integration, the whole world is like this, all boundaries are becoming increasingly blurred and indistinguishable. You're out of touch.”

Zhigang smiled wryly, “I'm not out of touch, I've never kept up.”

They left the office, Yuqin turned off all the lights, then the power, and locked the door. Entering the elevator, Yuqin pressed the button for the second basement level parking garage, saying, “Don't drive. I'll introduce you to someone; he'll drink with you. I'll take you home tonight.”

“What about my car?”

“Can't you come back tomorrow to pick it up? Or book a room at a hotel for the night; no one will bother you anyway.”

Seeing Zhigang remain silent, Yuqin looked at him and asked, “Your third sister-in-law won't bother you, will she?”

“How could she?”

The elevator reached the second basement level. They exited the elevator, and Yuqin led Zhigang to a corner where only one car could be parked. Yuqin said, "This is my special parking spot, I finally got it."

Zhigang looked at her red BMW; the spot was against a wall on one side and a thick square pillar on the other. He said, "What's so great about this spot? It's inconvenient to back up."

"You'll see soon enough. Get in."

Once in the car, Yuqin, without any warning, hugged Zhigang and kissed him, her tongue piercing his throat. Zhigang then understood the beauty of this parking spot. Yuqin's car windows were tinted dark, so when the car was parked facing inwards, people outside couldn't see inside, but those inside could see outside. When making love in the car, no matter how much the car moved, people in other parking spaces wouldn't see, unless a car happened to be passing by. In that case, you just needed to pause briefly to let the car pass.

With Yuqin, Zhigang was always passive. While kissing her, Yuqin took off her top, then pulled Zhigang up, lifted her skirt, and let him enter her directly. This time, Zhigang saw her expression. It was the face of a beautiful, fair-skinned woman fully enjoying sex. Her mouth was slightly open, her eyes half-closed, revealing a tenderness, a fervor, and a love in her gaze. When a dolphin-like sound escaped from her slightly contorted, bright red mouth, her face was intoxicated, even more beautiful in its ecstasy—a beauty of complete openness and vulnerability.

Zhigang was captivated, moved. He found himself involuntarily responding to the writhing body of this beautiful woman, this exquisite creature. He realized then that women could possess such beauty…

As Yuqin started the car, Zhigang noticed fine beads of sweat on her nose and said, "You like this, right?"

Yuqin asked, "Like what?"

"Like making love in the car. Actually, we could have done it in your office."

"Yes. I like making love in the car; it makes me happier. Are you happy?"

"This is the first time I've felt happy today."

"I felt it too. Your reaction today was different from the previous times; you enjoyed it. Before, when we made love, you only had desire, not pleasure. Right?"

"That's so true."

Zhigang hadn't expected Yuqin to have such a delicate and profound understanding of sex. He truly realized that desire is physical, fleeting and external; pleasure is internal, enduring and profound.

Yuqin parked the car outside the food street, and the two walked in. The street stretched for several miles, lined with night market stalls on both sides. Zhigang liked this environment; eating here felt comfortable, intimate, and harmonious—better than any high-end hotel.

Yuqin said, "He's already here."

"Who?"

"The friend I introduced you to, forgot?"

Zhigang saw a young man sitting at an empty table ahead, waving in their direction. From a distance, he felt he looked somewhat familiar, but he was certain it wasn't the person beside him.

Reaching him, Zhigang was startled: "Wang Qianghui!"

"Feng Zhigang!"

Wang Qianghui was also surprised.

Wang Qianghui stood up and hugged Zhigang tightly, so tightly that Zhigang had difficulty breathing. Zhigang said, "I thought I'd never see you again in this lifetime."

Wang Qianghui said, "I didn't think so. I firmly believed I would see you again. And here I am today, much earlier than I expected."

Yuqin said in surprise, "So you two know each other?"

Zhigang said, "More than just know each other. He's my benefactor."

Yuqin said, "Looks like I wasted my time. I was going to introduce you two."

Zhigang said, "You're right. If you hadn't introduced us, we wouldn't have had each other's contact information, and we wouldn't have met at all."

Wang Qianghui said, "Sit down quickly. Sit down and talk slowly. Boss, two bottles of good wine, please."

Chapter 44 Wang Qianghui's Business

The stall owner came over and asked, "Boss, what kind of wine would you like?"

Zhigang felt a little awkward and couldn't help but laugh. They both called each other "boss," and it was hard to tell who the real boss was.

Wang Qianghui asked, "What's your best liquor here?"

"Gujing Yuanjiang liquor, a new product."

"Why is it called Yuanjiang liquor?"

"It's purely brewed, not blended."

"Okay. Then give me two bottles."

Zhigang quickly stopped him, "One bottle is enough."

"No. Two bottles, open them both."

The stall owner opened two bottles of Gujing Yuanjiang liquor, and Wang Qianghui took them, placing one in front of Zhigang and one in front of himself. Zhigang asked in surprise, "You're letting me drink a bottle?"

"Of course. One bottle each."

"No, no. I've only ever drunk half a jin (250ml) at most."

"Fine, even if it's not enough. Given our life-or-death friendship and this long-awaited reunion, I won't leave until we finish this liquor."

Zhigang looked at Yuqin pleadingly. Yuqin smiled and said, "You have to drink. He won't let this go easily."

"Then I'll try my best."

Wang Qianghui asked the shopkeeper to bring two glasses, poured about half a glass of wine into his own, about 1.5 ounces, and said to Zhigang, "Pour this much too. We haven't seen each other for years, let's have a toast to celebrate our reunion."

Before Zhigang could even speak, he downed his glass in one gulp. Zhigang had no choice but to drink his in one gulp as well.

Wang Qianghui poured another half glass, and Zhigang quickly said, "Brother Wang, drink slowly, or I'll get drunk right away."

"Alright, alright, drink slowly. This time, the three of us will drink, Yuqin will drink water, drink as much as you want, it all depends on how deep our friendship is."

After saying that, he finished his in one gulp.

Seeing Zhigang's dilemma, Yuqin smiled and said, "Don't worry about him, just drink less."

Zhigang gritted his teeth and finished his in one gulp as well.

After three ounces of baijiu, and drinking so quickly, Zhigang was already drunk. Seeing that Zhigang really couldn't drink, Yuqin took his bottle and poured some into her own glass, saying, "Looks like you're not going to finish your mission. I won't drive today, I'll drink with you."

Wang Qianghui said, "No way, you have to drink with me too."

"Okay. No problem."

Yuqin took Wang Qianghui's bottle and poured some as well. Her glass was full.

At this moment, Zhigang remembered to ask the question that had been bothering him, saying to Yuqin, "You still haven't told me how you two met?"

Yuqin said, "How we met is a long story, so I won't go into details. Now he's a major shareholder in my company, my boss."

"Really?"

Zhigang said to Wang Qianghui, "Brother Wang, have you become successful these past few years?"

Wang Qianghui said, "Not really, just made a little money and made a few friends."

Yuqin said, "Qianghui is a creative master now. Shanghai's earliest cultural and creative park was called Bridge No. 8, you know?"

Zhigang nodded.

“Qiang Hui’s creative parks predate Bridge 8, though the term wasn’t used back then, they weren’t called creative parks, but the nature was the same.”

“Oh?”

Zhigang became interested. “Then tell me quickly, how did he do it?”

“He has a knack for taking over projects that others couldn’t finish, even those that were doomed, and making them work. He was one of the first people in Shanghai to rent factory buildings and transform them into creative parks. His creativity is evident everywhere. For example, by preserving the original state of the factory workshops, the sense of historical weight and the vicissitudes of industrial civilization emerges, saving on renovation costs. Another example is that the factory’s elevator was a freight elevator, which was too big, so he put a pair of sofas inside and hung a painting, and that created a feeling. Although the elevator ride is short, the feeling is different. Besides creativity, the most important thing for these parks is affordability. The companies that come in to work are all small companies; if the rent is too high, they won’t come, so you have to save money everywhere.”

Zhigang asked, “So how are cultural and creative parks formed? Is there a conscious effort to attract a certain type of company?”

“Qianghui’s industrial park wasn’t originally intended to attract a specific type of company, but most of the companies that entered his first park were film and television companies, design companies, and cultural companies, naturally forming a creative park. And because the park is so creative, some large multinational corporations have also moved in.”

Yuqin’s introduction made Zhigang’s eyes widen. He said, “So, our migrant workers’ home also falls into this category.”

Yuqin slapped her forehead: “Right. Speaking of migrant workers’ homes, why didn’t I think of that?”

She said to Wang Qianghui, “Qianghui, let’s go visit Zhigang’s place tomorrow.”

Qianghui said, “Okay.”

Yuqin said to Zhigang, “Well, you can’t go back today anyway, so let’s go together tomorrow.”

Zhigang raised his glass: “Okay, I’ll toast you both.”

Chapter 045 Where is the Road?

After saying goodbye to Wang Qianghui, Yuqin booked a room for Zhigang at a budget hotel. She had also been drinking and couldn't drive, so she slept with Zhigang in her arms that night. Nothing happened. When Zhigang woke up in the morning, looking at this disheveled woman sleeping like a child, he couldn't understand why she had such strong desires in the car but was so indifferent in bed.

Zhigang called Dazhi, saying that an important guest had come to visit the migrant workers' home and school that morning, and Dazhi said he would be there immediately. When Zhigang and Yuqin arrived at the neighboring migrant workers' home, Wang Qianghui was already there. Soon after, Dazhi arrived as well.

Zhigang led Wang Qianghui on a tour of the place. Yuqin explained everything personally; she knew what Wang Qianghui wanted to know and what would move him. Wang Qianghui looked very carefully and asked many questions, including about the surrounding construction sites and the local government's development policies and strategies. After the tour, back in Zhigang's office, Wang Qianghui said he would have to work on it carefully and give a clear answer in a few days.

It was already 11 o'clock. Dazhi invited them to the hotel, but Wang Qianghui said he had something to do at noon and couldn't eat there. Yuqin also said she had something to do, so they had to leave.

Dazhi asked, "Zhigang, do you think there's any hope this time?"

Zhigang wasn't sure either, but he didn't want to discourage Dazhi's confidence: "There's a good chance."

"Why do I feel there's not much hope?"

"Why?"

"They won't even stay for lunch, what hope is there? If they stay for lunch, then there's hope."

"Wang Qianghui is different from the others. First, his thinking is unique; he's good at finding business opportunities that others can't see. Second, given his relationship with me and with Yuqin, he'll give it serious consideration."

"I hope he can make a decision. I feel like he's our last hope. If this doesn't work out, I'm afraid we won't find anyone willing to invest."

"Brother Dazhi, don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities."

"I hope so. I'm leaving now."

"Not eating here?"

"No, I have to treat others to lunch. There are so many debts outside; I have to collect them even if it's difficult."

Dazhi left in a hurry. Lan Hua asked Zhi Gang, "Zhi Gang, what are your plans?"

Zhi Gang looked at Lan Hua, knowing she was worried about the company's future and his own job. "Lan Hua, don't worry, the migrant workers' home and school won't close. We've worked so hard to bring so many children to Shanghai to study; are we just going to let them go back? Wouldn't that be a waste of all our efforts? I want to help Da Zhi while also preserving the migrant workers' home and school."

"I hope so. If the company is gone, my third brother and I won't have any other way to make a living, and we'll probably have to take the children back to our hometown."

"How could that be? With Da Zhi and me here, we won't let you and my third brother go back."

Lan Hua glanced at him: "Da Zhi is struggling to make ends meet right now, and you're not much better off. What makes you think you can guarantee that?"

"I don't believe that such a big city like Shanghai can't provide for us. Even if the company is gone, we're far from that point. Lan Hua, you're not the same as you were a few years ago; you have to believe in your progress and abilities. Managing such a large migrant workers' home well is a talent even if you were put in Yu Qin's human resources pool."

"Really?"

Lan Hua glanced at Zhi Gang again, her eyes filled with tenderness and gratitude, which Zhi Gang understood. He guessed that Lan Hua and his third brother's sex life had resumed, and was resuming very well, judging from Lan Hua's rosy complexion and mood. He hadn't made love to Lan Hua for months, and he was afraid he would never have the chance again. Last night, Yu Qin was the only woman he had been with in months.

Near the end of the workday, someone delivered three baskets of hairy crabs, saying they were for General Peng.

Zhi Gang said, "General Peng doesn't work here, why are you delivering them here?"

The person said, "I don't know, our boss asked us to deliver them."

"Who is your boss?"

"He raises hairy crabs in Yangcheng Lake, his surname is Li."

Zhi Gang called Da Zhi to ask what was going on. Da Zhi said, "These are from a customer who owes money. You and your third sister-in-law each keep one basket, and you can take the other one to my house."

"Aren't you coming today?"

"I'm on my way to Hangzhou. I'm going to a customer's place tomorrow morning to collect a debt, so I can't go back today."

Chapter 46 Delivering Hairy Crabs

As soon as Zhi Gang got off work, he took the hairy crabs to Da Zhi's house. Their 7-year-old son, Xiao Zhi, opened the door. The boy was chubby-cheeked, just like Dazhi.

"Hello, Uncle Zhigang,"

the boy said sweetly.

Zhigang closed the door for Xiaozhi: "Hello, Xiaozhi. What's Mom doing?"

"Mom's cooking."

Guiling came out of the kitchen, took the basket of crabs from Zhigang, and said, "Zhigang, you're here. Dazhi called and said you were bringing something, so I cooked your meal too. Sit down, we'll eat right away."

Before Zhigang even sat down, Xiaozhi pestered him: "Uncle Zhigang, why didn't you bring me a gift?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I came from the company, I didn't have a chance to buy you a gift."

"Then next time you come, you have to bring me two gifts."

"Okay, I promise I'll bring you two gifts next time."

"But today I'm going to punish you."

"Punish me? Are you being unreasonable?"

"I'm punishing you by making you play games with me, and I have to beat you."

"Playing games is fine, but who wins isn't certain yet."

Zhigang had never played games before, and Xiaozhi easily won several rounds against him. Just then, Guiling brought the dishes to the table and called to them, "Let's eat, stop playing."

Xiaozhi threw down his mouse, ran to the table, sat down, and started eating fatty meat with his chopsticks. Guiling said, "Don't eat any more fatty meat, or you'll get too fat to go to school." Xiaozhi,

his mouth greasy, said, "I'm not afraid, I play soccer every day. The teacher said that exercising every day will prevent me from getting fat."

Guiling called to Zhigang, "Come and eat too."

Zhigang sat down at the table, and Guiling had already set out two wine glasses. Zhigang said, "Want to drink some more?"

Guiling said, "Just a little. I want to drink." Guiling

took out a bottle of 16-year-old Gujing Yuanjiang liquor. Zhigang took it and carefully examined the label, asking, "This is a new brand, everyone drinks it when they entertain guests. How strong is it?"

"50 degrees. Dazhi also drinks this when he entertains guests. The person who distributes this liquor is also from our hometown, he brought a whole truckload for Dazhi."

"Such a high alcohol content? I can't drink many glasses."

"What are you afraid of? If you drink too much, you won't leave."

Zhigang's heart fluttered, and he glanced at Guiling. Guiling was looking at him meaningfully. Zhigang glanced at Xiaozhi, who was engrossed in eating meat, opened the bottle cap, and filled two glasses.

Guiling picked up her glass and said, "Let's drink this one first,"

and downed it in one gulp.

Zhigang also drank it down in one go. Guiling refilled Zhigang's glass and said, "You should drink less this time."

Guiling often drank with Li Wenbo and discovered that she had a considerable capacity for alcohol; she knew Zhigang could only handle three or four ounces.

Xiaozhi still had the habits of a rural child, eating without needing adults to help him, and quickly finished eating. Guiling told him to stop playing games, watch some cartoons, and then go to sleep. She and Zhigang continued drinking.

"Zhigang, do you think Dazhi can overcome this difficulty?"

"Of course he can. In business, you have to overcome any difficulty; if you can't, the business dies."

“I’m afraid he won’t make it this time, and the company will be gone. What will happen to all that debt and all those migrant workers?”

“Don’t worry. We’re here. We’ll all work together to figure it out. We’ll definitely get through this.”

“Is Wang Qianghui’s investment a good chance? You need to find a way to get him on board.”

“I will. Wang Qianghui and I have a special relationship. He did me a favor when I first came to Shanghai, and I know his character. I think he’ll invest.”

“Why don’t you strike while the iron is hot and go ask him tomorrow?”

“Isn’t that too hasty? It might backfire.”

“Since we have a special relationship, we can do things differently. Go ask him so Dazhi can relax. He can’t sleep at night.”

“Okay. I’ll go tomorrow. Come on, let’s drink.”

Guiling put the child to sleep, and then they chatted and drank for a while. Zhigang said, “We can’t drink anymore. We’ve already drunk about 8 liang of liquor.”

“Okay. I’ll get you some rice.”

“I don’t want rice. I’m already full.”

Guiling told Zhigang to sit on the sofa and watch TV for a while. She cleaned the kitchen, sat down next to Zhigang, and kissed him, turning his head towards her. Zhigang had been waiting for this moment and quickly returned the kiss passionately.

It had been six years. Six years ago, this woman was the one who let Zhigang taste the flavor of a woman for the first time, but there had never been a second. In those six years, Zhigang had been with more than one woman, liked them, and enjoyed them, but how could he forget his first woman?

Guiling was the same. Zhigang was her first extramarital lover. She had initially seduced Zhigang to satisfy her own sexual desires, that's true, but Zhigang was the first man she had ever wanted to seduce; she wouldn't have done it if she didn't truly like him.

Chapter 047 Unprecedented Loneliness

The kiss lasted a long time. When they released each other, they looked at each other and smiled. Guiling was wearing loose-fitting casual clothes; the neckline was already low, and now, one of the top buttons had come undone during the passionate kiss, revealing her two snow-white, full breasts to Zhigang. Zhigang buried his head in Guiling's arms and kissed them. Guiling pressed his head down with both hands and said, "You glutton. I'll let you eat your fill."

Zhigang picked Guiling up and carried her into the bedroom, tossed her onto the bed, closed the door, and began to undress her piece by piece.

This beautiful woman was unfamiliar to him, yet she felt the most intimate with him, holding immense significance for him. When he entered her, he felt that he had waited not six years, but 25 years for this moment. This was the limit of his life. He felt himself floating, drifting and melting amidst the swirling white clouds.

Guiling felt the same way. The intimate boy of six years ago was now much stronger and more powerful. She also felt herself gradually becoming transparent and melting in this man's presence.

Zhigang didn't dare stay overnight at Guiling's house. He drove out of the neighborhood and suddenly thought of Dazhi. Where was Dazhi now? Was he really in Hangzhou? A thought struck him: Had Dazhi intentionally arranged this to get him to help him?

He felt a pair of eyes watching him from behind—Dazhi's eyes.

But what did it matter? He thought, if Dazhi had intentionally arranged this, there would be no need for this at all. Even without Guiling's involvement, he would still have helped him. Arranging it or not would have yielded the same result. But if this was the case, wouldn't Guiling have been used? And used by her husband at that. Whether Guiling knew or was willing was one thing, but the fact remained that she had been used by her husband once. This was tantamount to being betrayed, and once it happened, it would happen again. This gave Zhigang a new understanding of Dazhi: he had become a pure businessman.

Back in his room at the migrant workers' home, Zhigang couldn't sleep at all. He felt an unprecedented loneliness, as if everyone had abandoned him. Guiling didn't belong to him. His third sister-in-law was next door, with his third brother every day, probably making love right now, making her scream as if she were making love to him. Shi Yuqin didn't belong to him either; she had slept with countless men, and he was just one of three experiences in her countless sexual encounters. Who else? With Xiaocui, it was almost forced.

Zhigang had always thought he was lucky with women and never lacked them, but now he realized he had never truly possessed a woman. He

barely slept a wink that night. When he woke up the next morning, Zhigang noticed his eyes were red in the mirror. Remembering his promise to Guiling, he called Wang Qianghui: "Brother Wang, I'd like to visit your company today, do you have time?"

"Sure. Come over, have lunch and drinks."

"I won't drink. I'll be there in a bit."

Wang Qianghui's office was in a creative park he was developing. The interior walls were rough and uneven, like the brick walls outside an old factory. There was no ceiling, and some iron pipes hanging overhead led to who-knows-where. The office furniture was also bizarre: the sofa was carved from a huge old tree root, and the desk was just a large wooden plank, like a tailor's cutting board. Zhigang looked around the office and asked, "Is this your idea?"

"What, you don't like it? Let me tell you, I can't even keep this office anymore. A friend insisted on renting it for a hefty sum, forcing me to move."

Zhigang said, "Maybe it's a difference in mindset. We've lived in dilapidated houses in the countryside for so long, we yearn for clean and orderly places, while you grew up in a standardized environment, only things that break the mold can attract you."

"That's true. Office buildings are like identical pigeon coops, who wants to be locked up in them every day? Creativity is about breaking the mold, as for what's conventional and what's unconventional, that's a matter of opinion. Come on, let me show you around."

This creative park was converted from two old factory buildings, and it was quite large. The tall factory buildings were transformed into two-story buildings, some even three-story, with plenty of space. The layout inside the factory buildings was open-plan; upon entering, the space felt large, but the offices inside weren't actually that big. There was also an old boiler in the yard, which Wang Qianghui had rusted and painted along with its connecting pipes, turning it into a tourist attraction. A cement road cuts through the green space, bypassing the boiler. Several tree roots, about 50 centimeters above the ground, serve as benches, and there's a newspaper stand—all things that were originally part of the factory.

Zhigang exclaimed, "Creativity is truly everywhere!"

"Yes. Anything, anything, as long as you think outside the box, can be creative."

Chapter 048 Joining Forces

Back in the office, Yuqin arrived; Wang Qianghui had invited her. It seemed drinking was inevitable.

Yuqin was dressed in a white top and skirt today, with flowing long hair, looking ethereal. Zhigang thought, looking at her, who would imagine she was so... [unclear] in the car? He glanced at her skirt again, wondering if she was wearing shorts today.

Wang Qianghui took out two bottles of Gujing Yuanjiang liquor and said, "Let's go drink."

There was also a Tianyi Hotel nearby. They went in, and Wang Qianghui didn't ask for a private room, finding a table in the lobby to sit down.

Wang Qianghui said to Zhigang, "This big hotel is owned by someone from our hometown. The boss will be here soon, and I'll introduce you."

Zhigang asked, "How many does he own?"

"That's hard to say. It's a national chain; there are probably more than a dozen in Shanghai alone."

"He has that much power?"

"It's not about power, but about brand appeal. It's a franchise; he provides the brand and plays with other people's money."

Zhigang remembered Yuqin mentioning this model: "Could our neighboring village's migrant workers' home do the same?"

"Of course. The same goes for their schools. The prerequisite is to mature the brand and the model."

The waiter brought the dishes. Qianghui opened a bottle of wine and poured it into three glasses. The bottle was finished, making exactly three glasses. Qianghui picked up his glass and said, "In the past, Yuqin and I were friends, and Zhigang and I were friends too. Zhigang and Yuqin were also friends, but none of us knew the other two were friends as well. Today, to celebrate our reunion, let's start with a big gulp."

Qianghui and Yuqin each drank a third of their drinks in one go, more than an ounce, while Zhigang managed a large gulp, which looked to be at most a quarter.

Setting down his wine glass, Qiang Hui asked Zhi Gang, "The idea for 'Neighbor Village' is yours, right?"

"Yes."

"I like the name. So I've decided I want both the Neighbor Village Workers' Home and the Neighbor Village Workers' Children's School. Not only that, I want to build Neighbor Village into a famous brand and extend it upstream and downstream along the industry chain. For example, besides the Neighbor Village Workers' Home and the Neighbor Village Workers' Children's Primary School, I also want to establish the Neighbor Village Clubhouse, the Neighbor Village Winery, the Neighbor Village Culture Company, the Neighbor Village Catering Company, and so on."

Zhi Gang said happily, "Hearing you say that, I'm reluctant to sell."

"You don't need to sell your shares; you'll still be a shareholder. The three of us will work together to build this brand. However, we need one more person to participate."

"Who?"

"Zhang Ran. He's the owner of Tianyi Hotel. He's a master of brand chain operations."

Just then, someone called Qiang Hui's name and walked over: "Qiang Hui, you've arrived."

Qiang Hui stood up and said, "Let me introduce you. This is Zhang Ran, Chairman of Tianyi Hotel, and this is Feng Zhi Gang, General Manager of Neighbor Village Workers' Home."

Zhang Ran was in his thirties, thin, and not very tall, but looked shrewd and capable. He shook Zhigang's hand and said, "I've heard so much about you. I've read about the neighboring village's migrant workers' home in the newspaper."

Zhigang said, "I'm a regular customer of yours. I didn't know that Tianyi Hotel was run by someone from my hometown."

Zhang Ran sat down at an empty seat, and a waiter set out a set of cutlery in front of him. Qianghui opened the second bottle of wine, filled Zhang Ran's glass, and said, "I have something I need to talk to you about. I'm thinking of taking over the neighboring village's brand. How about we work together?"

Zhang Ran said, "Great! This brand is good. We can turn it into a neighboring village group in the future."

"You have to keep your word. If you've decided, I'll take you to see it tomorrow and then sign the contract."

Zhang Ran picked up his glass, stood up, and said, "Brother Qianghui, anything you set out to do will definitely be good. Don't pay the bill today, it's on me. Let me toast you first."

Qianghui said, "Okay. Let's drink together, the four of us. After this drink, we'll be working together."

The two bottles of wine were quickly finished. Zhang Ran said, "I have this wine in my shop, bring two more bottles."

Qiang Hui said, "Bring another bottle. Zhi Gang can't hold his liquor, don't drink anymore."

The waiter brought a bottle of Gujing Yuanjiang wine, opened the cap, and handed it to Zhang Ran. Zhi Gang still had wine in his glass, and the other three finished the bottle.

Chapter 049 Focusing on What Needs to Be Done In

the afternoon, since they couldn't drive, Zhang Ran took them to the large bathhouse. After bathing, getting massages, and taking a nap, Zhi Gang woke up and looked at his watch; it was already 5 o'clock. There were only a few people in the rest hall, and only Yu Qin was with him; Qiang Hui and Zhang Ran's seats were empty. He asked Yu Qin, "Where are they?"

Yu Qin smiled somewhat ambiguously and said, "They thought it was too noisy here, so they went to their room."

Zhi Gang understood. Seeing that Yuqin was wearing a women's bathrobe, which still revealed her graceful curves, he said, "It's really noisy here. Don't you find it noisy? Let's get a room."

Yuqin looked at him and smiled, saying, "You have to call a lady to get a room. You should call one too."

Zhigang said, "Okay. Then you can call a gentleman."

"Sure. But there aren't any gentlemen here."

"Oh well. Then let me be one, free service."

This was the first time Zhigang had taken the initiative. They had only made love three times before, and he had not only been passive but also unprepared beforehand. But the last time, he had enjoyed the wonderful taste of this white-collar woman. Now, just thinking about Yuqin made him aroused. What

impressed Zhigang most about Yuqin was her straightforwardness, without the slightest bit of coyness or affectation. She wanted what she wanted, completely open herself up, and was unguarded. It made him feel that she was fully enjoying sex, without any other thoughts, and it made him feel at ease and without any worries to let go and enjoy her. This woman was witty and resourceful in business and management, but in bed, she was completely the opposite, simple and transparent. This was what attracted Zhigang the most.

Zhigang closed the door, and Yuqin, impatient, hugged him from behind, her breasts pressed against his back, her hands gripping his groin like a car gearshift. Yuqin was direct like that, without foreplay. Zhigang turned around, embracing her tightly, his chest pressing against hers. Yuqin's tongue was already deep in his throat, and he sucked on her slightly cool, soft, and agile tongue.

Their bathrobes were already scattered all over the carpet. Yuqin pushed Zhigang down onto the bed, then straddled him, and Zhigang entered her directly. Perhaps it was related to the position, but Zhigang always lasted a long time with Yuqin, driving her wild.

This position was much more tiring for women. In a car, one could grab the handle above the door, but on the bed, there was nothing to grab onto, yet Yuqin still enjoyed it immensely. During her orgasms, she would always let out a continuous, uninterrupted scream, a long, dolphin-like sound. But today she held back, because the room had no lock and wasn't soundproof; it could be heard from outside. Zhigang could feel her climax approaching; she could only let out a suppressed sound from her throat, while writhing her body more frantically to torture herself and prevent herself from crying out.

Yuqin finally collapsed onto Zhigang, drenched in sweat. Zhigang looked at her face before him; perhaps from exhaustion, it was deathly pale, her lips blood-red, her eyes glazed, seemingly still enjoying it. Zhigang loved seeing a woman's face right after sex; he found it breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly sexy.

Zhigang had Yuqin lie on top of him, both of them motionless, still enjoying each other. Yuqin's sweat dripped onto Zhigang, their sweat mingling together. Zhigang reluctantly felt himself slowly withdrawing from Yuqin's body.

Zhigang cupped Yuqin's face and asked with a smile, "Haven't you ever been on the bottom?"

"Of course I have. But I prefer being on top. I want to be in control in everything I do, including sex. I'd rather dominate than be dominated."

"Are all strong women like this in bed?"

"I don't know. You'll know once you try a few more."

"Would you let me try?"

"No. But I can't control you, and I don't want to. Besides, sex is for enjoyment; don't waste your energy on suspicion. If you spend too much time on sex, you'll lose a lot of fun. You should focus your energy where it's needed."

Chapter 50 Another Talent Crisis

The next day, after Zhang Ran visited the neighboring village's migrant workers' home and children's school, he quickly signed a contract. Dazhi's shares were transferred to Yuqin, Qianghui, and Zhang Ran, while Zhigang and Lanhua's shares remained unchanged.

The new board of directors decided that all personnel and management operations would remain the same. Zhigang would concurrently serve as general manager of both companies, Lanhua would remain deputy general manager, and Guiling would remain principal. Yuqin would lead the development of a brand promotion plan for the neighboring village, which would be implemented after board approval.

Dazhi had temporarily weathered the storm, but even greater difficulties lay ahead. The financial crisis originating in the United States swept the globe, and China's once bustling construction sites fell silent almost overnight. After the Spring Festival that year, Dazhi could only keep one construction site running. This was still considered good. He knew that in the current situation, simply surviving was a victory; once the difficulties passed, those that had perished would simply die, while the surviving companies would experience even greater and faster development.

With most construction sites shut down, many migrant workers were without work and weren't in a hurry to return after the Spring Festival, impacting the business of the Neighbor Village Migrant Workers' Home. Occupancy, which used to be 90%, was now less than 50%. After discussing the matter with everyone, Chairman Wang Qianghui decided to merge the three factory areas of the Migrant Workers' Home into two, and renovate the vacant area into apartments for white-collar workers in the neighboring village.

This move was perfectly timed. Transforming during a downturn and exploring a new model didn't affect existing business, and allowed for the timely launch of more profitable, high-demand apartments for white-collar workers when the economy improved, while also complying with government policies. As for the increased demand for the Migrant Workers' Home as the situation improved, there were solutions; expanding the Migrant Workers' Home then would be a simple replication, and another could be built quickly.

Sure enough, after China's economy recovered first, the Neighbor Village Migrant Workers' Home and schools for migrant workers' children flourished, quickly replicating in major migrant worker gathering places throughout the city. The Neighbor Village white-collar apartments were also fully rented out, initially establishing a successful model that could be easily replicated.

The talent shortage is plaguing Zhigang once again, and this time the biggest shortage is of high-end talent, which is even harder to find. No matter how capable Yuqin is, her human resources company can't cultivate talent. Guiling is already serving as principal of three schools, and four more schools, although they have principals, are also under her jurisdiction; she can't let them go unchecked. Lanhua is also managing five or six migrant worker homes; even driving to each location every day takes most of the day.

Jing'er posted job advertisements online, receiving dozens of resumes daily. She conducts interviews almost every day, then holds a second interview on a

single day with Zhigang, Lanhua, or Guiling. But now, time is running out, especially with the schools. Guiling has children at home; although she's hired a nanny, she still needs her mother. Dazhi's business has recovered to its previous level and is showing signs of surpassing it; he gets home almost every night, sometimes not until dawn. Of the four schools Guiling isn't serving as principal of, only one principal is barely competent; the other three are either inactive or lack vision but abuse their power. Zhigang had already advised Wang Qianghui to slow down the pace of expansion and wait until human resources caught up before expanding again. Qianghui accepted his advice, but the current situation was already too much for

Zhigang to handle. Before Zhigang could even adjust, trouble struck. A food poisoning incident occurred at the migrant workers' children's school in Lixiang, a neighboring village in the western suburbs. Zhigang received a call from Sun Fenglai, the vice principal of the school, while he was driving. He told Sun Fenglai to immediately take the children with symptoms to the nearest hospital; this was the top priority and should be done at all costs. After hanging up, he quickly thought of what to do. He was in Pudong, and it would take him an hour to get there. Guiling would also need about an hour. Only the headquarters was close to the school, a 20-minute drive away. He immediately called back, but Jing'er answered, saying that Lanhua had gone to another migrant workers' home. He had no choice but to arrange for Jing'er to go there instead.

“Jing’er, go to Lixiang School immediately. Tell the driver, Xiao Zhao, to drive there, and that I told him it was me. There’s been a food poisoning incident among the students. Find the finance department and bring some money. Try your best to appease the students’ parents, avoid any conflict, and prevent the situation from escalating. Save lives at all costs. Anything that can’t be resolved now can wait. Hurry up. I’m on my way there too.”

Chapter 51 Handling the Poisoning Incident

When Zhigang arrived at the hospital, Jing’er was already there.

“How are they?”

Zhigang asked Jing’er.

“The children are not in life-threatening danger. The five most seriously injured had vomiting, fever, and convulsions, but they are out of danger now and are still under observation. The remaining 30-odd are vomiting and having diarrhea and are on IV drips. They won’t suffer any more serious consequences. The doctor suspects it was caused by the unsanitary boxed lunch they ate at noon.”

Zhigang was slightly relieved. He admired this about Jing’er. She was usually quiet, but when she did speak, she was clear, concise, and to the point. Zhigang only asked one question, and she explained everything he wanted to know, and she said the most important thing first.

Guiling arrived just then, and Jing'er reported to her again.

Vice Principal Sun Fenglai jogged over, repeatedly apologizing and explaining to Zhigang and Guiling. Zhigang, annoyed, said, "Stop talking. Just do what you're supposed to do. We'll talk about the rest later."

Sun Fenglai readily agreed, secretly wiping the sweat from her brow.

Fifty or sixty anxious parents had gathered in the waiting hall and infusion room. Seeing Zhigang arrive, knowing he was the leader, they surrounded him. Their attitude was relatively rational, speaking all at once; a few were accusations, but most were suggestions, demanding improvements in food hygiene, stronger management, and that such incidents not happen again, etc. Zhigang knew Jing'er had already communicated with them effectively; otherwise, their attitude wouldn't be so calm. He glanced at Jing'er; she stood silently to the side, calmly watching Zhigang talk to the parents. Zhigang thought to himself, this girl is capable of great things.

Back at the company, it was already past 8 pm. Lan Hua was waiting for them and asked, "Haven't you eaten yet? I've asked the cafeteria to prepare some."

Zhi Gang said, "Tell the cook to bring the food over. We can eat while we have our meeting."

Everyone sat down, and Zhi Gang asked, "Which restaurant delivers the students' lunchboxes?"

Jing'er said, "I asked Principal Sun; it's a small restaurant, and the hygiene is questionable."

Gui Ling said, "I'm considering this. I think we could choose a reputable catering company with a large number of branches, and have all the schools order from them. This way, we can guarantee quality, the large volume will encourage catering companies to do it, and we can strengthen management and reduce loopholes."

Zhi Gang said, "That's a good idea. We can consider this model for similar purchases in the future. We'll go to the school tomorrow to handle this. Now let's discuss it with the school's leadership team." "How should we adjust things?"

Guiling said, "This school doesn't have a principal yet; Vice Principal Sun Fenglai is temporarily in charge. Sun Fenglai is a special-grade teacher, teaching junior high math, and he can also teach physics, but he's not principal material; he's better suited to be the academic affairs director."

Zhigang said, "Since that's the case, let's not force him. Making him principal would both harm him and waste his talent. Do you know anyone suitable to be the principal?"

Lanhua said, "The school is in a critical period right now. It would be best to send someone capable and experienced, and they should stay at the school for a period of time to focus on rectification, without taking on any other duties. If there isn't a suitable candidate, even transferring someone from another school as a temporary replacement would be good."

Guiling said, "Right now, what I lack most is a principal. The principals of the other schools can't be left behind."

Zhigang said, "I discovered someone talented today; we can let her try."

"Who?"

Lanhua and Guiling asked together.

Zhigang looked at Jing'er, whose face turned red.

"Jing'er?"

Lan Hua was pleasantly surprised. She liked Jing'er. "Jing'er, are you sure you can do it?"

Jing'er shook her head and said, "I can't."

Gui Ling said, "I think you can. Jing'er is the company's oldest employee. She's familiar with the situation and has received excellent training over the years. Perhaps we've discovered another talent."

"Okay,"

Zhi Gang said. "Since you have no objections, it's settled then. Jing'er, don't worry. Even if you can't do it, I'll train you until you succeed. Tomorrow, Gui Ling and I will accompany you to Lixiang School."

"Then what about my work here?"

"You'll temporarily continue as the Administrative and Human Resources Manager. Aren't there Administrative Supervisors and Human Resources Supervisors now? Let them handle the daily work. We'll talk about it after you get the school on track."

Chapter 52

The morning after Principal Shu took office, when Zhi Gang drove Jing'er to Lixiang School, Gui Ling was already there and talking with Sun Feng.

Sun Fenglai already knew that Jing'er was going to be the principal. Looking at this beautiful and refined girl, he was a little worried about whether she could handle the job. Her age was similar to the youngest core teacher in the school, not to mention the older, more experienced core teachers. Would they respect her? He himself, at his age and with 30 years of teaching experience, hadn't done a good job as principal.

Zhigang said to Sun Fenglai, "Principal Sun, Principal Shu is young, you should support her work. Right now, focus on handling the aftermath of the poisoning incident, then you two discuss how to get the school back on track."

Zhigang then said to Jing'er, "Principal Zhang and I are leaving now. You can do your job with confidence. Call us if anything happens."

Guiling hugged Jing'er and whispered in her ear, "Make more phone calls, discuss things with others. Don't keep things bottled up. I'll call you every day to check on things here."

Zhigang said to Guiling, "Let's go. Tell the driver to go back and come with me."

Guiling hadn't gotten her driver's license yet, so she needed someone to drive her. She told the driver to leave and got into Zhigang's car. After driving for a while after leaving the school, Zhigang turned onto a narrow dirt road that cut through farmland, barely wide enough for one car, and kept driving straight.

Guiling asked, "Where are you going?"

Zhigang smiled, "You'll find out soon enough."

The car drove for a few kilometers, then found an open space, turned off the dirt road, and stopped in a small grove of trees. There was no one for kilometers around, and even if there were, they wouldn't see the car. Zhigang hugged Guiling and kissed her.

Guiling guessed what Zhigang wanted to do. She had never made love outside of bed, let alone in the wild. Her heart pounded, feeling a sense of novelty, excitement, and fun—a unique sensation that made her reluctant to stop. It was like playing hide-and-seek with friends as a child, hiding in a place they wouldn't expect, yet very close, smugly watching them wander around without finding them, but always at risk of being found at any moment.

Zhigang reclined the passenger seat, and Guiling lay flat on her back. The buttons on her bra had popped open, revealing her full breasts, which seemed about to burst from their bras. Zhigang unhooked the bra and tossed it aside, kissing her soft, white breasts. Guiling couldn't withstand the intense stimulation of the environment and felt an overwhelming urge. She unbuckled Zhigang's belt and pulled down his pants. Zhigang had already removed her panties from under her skirt, and she eagerly grabbed his penis and entered herself.

The car swayed violently from their movements, yet there was a rebounding force that sometimes pulled their bodies closer, giving them unexpected pleasure. Sometimes they tried to get closer, but the swaying of the car separated them slightly, prolonging their waiting and desire for a few more seconds, making it even more intriguing. Guiling reached an unprecedented climax, unable to resist pressing her open mouth to Zhigang's shoulder and biting down, holding on until the climax slowly subsided.

Zhigang lay limp on top of Guiling for a while before feeling a burning pain in his left shoulder. He saw blood on Guiling's teeth and knew it was from his own shoulder.

They embraced tightly, naked. Zhigang kissed Guiling's bright red lips, admiring her beauty after making love. The first time he made love with Guiling, he noticed that her expression and face after an orgasm were far more beautiful than usual. Later, he discovered that all women are beautiful at this moment.

Guiling gently stroked the two crescent-shaped circles on Zhigang's shoulder, asking with concern, "Does it hurt?"

"It hurts. But it hurts with pleasure."

"How did you end up here? Have you done this with other women?"

"What, are you jealous?"

"Jealous. Thinking about you doing this with other women makes me so sad."

"You have ambition, but I don't have a wife. What am I supposed to do?"

"Why don't you find a wife?" "

There isn't a suitable one. Do you want me to find one?"

"What if I don't? I can't be your wife."

"If you're willing, I'll marry you."

"Let's just be lovers. If we can be lovers for a long time, I'll be satisfied."

Zhigang sighed, "Sigh! If I had a wife like you, making love with you every day, I'd be satisfied."

"What do you think of Jing'er? She's beautiful, gentle, and capable. If you marry her, she'll treat you very well."

"Jing'er? I've never thought about that."

Yes. How could he have never considered Jing'er?

02-12
Chapter 053 Jing'er (1)

Less than a week after Jing'er took office as principal, she shocked the entire school.

The first thing Jing'er did was to find out the source of the boxed meals and why they were bought from this restaurant. It turned out that the office director, Huang Qingquan, was related to the restaurant owner. She discussed it with the vice principal, Sun Fenglai, but Sun Fenglai disagreed with dismissing Huang Qingquan, thinking that such a punishment was too harsh. He already knew that Huang Qingquan and the restaurant owner were related, and Huang Qingquan had even asked him for permission to have the restaurant deliver the meals. After consulting with Guiling, Jing'er still dismissed Huang Qingquan.

The teachers and students looked at Jing'er with new respect. Jing'er's maturity was not apparent from her appearance. Having spent so many years at the migrant workers' home, she had learned, experienced, and seen everything she needed to. When Zhigang and Lanhua made a big fuss about management, she was the executor. She knew the principle of using harsh measures in chaotic times.

Guiling had been keeping an eye on Jing'er, and generally supported any decision Jing'er made, as long as it wasn't outrageous. She wanted to find an opportunity to bring Zhigang and Jing'er together.

Jing'er had become increasingly beautiful. The mature demeanor she had cultivated over the years added a touch of elegance to her already stunning beauty. She was naturally quiet and didn't like to talk much; those who didn't know her well always thought she was an ice queen. She already held a high position in the company, and the employees all kept their distance from her; only a few high-level executives could speak to her. She didn't contact the outside world, spending her weekends reading in her dormitory, so she still didn't have a boyfriend. Her third sister-in-law,

Lanhua, had always cared about Jing'er and had tried to introduce her to potential partners many times, but she had always refused.

In fact, Jing'er had always liked Zhigang, but she had never dared to confess. She was already insecure, and after being raped, she felt even more unworthy of Zhigang. She knew about Zhigang and Lanhua's relationship, but still felt unworthy. Every morning when she went to work, the first thing she did was make tea for Zhigang and Lanhua. Even after becoming the HR and Administration Manager and having more people under her, she still insisted on doing this.

Zhigang cared for Jing'er just as much as Lanhua did. Perhaps, like Lanhua, his initial concern stemmed from sympathy, beginning after Jing'er was raped. When Dazhi wanted to sell his shares, panic gripped the company; everyone worried that the company would be sold, the migrant workers' shelter would close, and they would lose their jobs. At that time, Zhigang comforted Jing'er, telling her not to worry, he would arrange things for her. Over the years, seeing Jing'er grow more and more beautiful, he sometimes admired her in his heart, but never imagined he would fall in love with her. In fact, he shared the same thought as Jing'er: he felt unworthy of her. He had been with several women and considered himself not a good person. Jing'er was very aware of his relationship with his third sister-in-law; sometimes they even flirted openly without hiding it from her. Moreover, even after being raped, Jing'er remained pure in his eyes. Also, perhaps because he categorized Jing'er as a good person, no matter how beautiful she was, he never felt sexually aroused by her.

Jing'er simply watched Zhigang silently, hoping that one day she could be of help to him. But why would Zhigang need her help?

Since Third Brother arrived with his child, Lan Hua has been like a spring breeze, and Jing'er has seen it all. She knows that Zhi Gang will never have another chance to be with Lan Hua. She doesn't know if Zhi Gang has other women, but at least none around him. Zhi Gang doesn't go out often, and he rarely stays out overnight. Even if he has other women, they probably only meet a few times a year.

In fact, no one understands Jing'er. Her passion is just covered by her outward calm. After being raped, she suppressed her passion even more and did not let it show. She is not conservative at heart, but she does not want to show it like Hongyan, and she does not want to sleep with anyone like Hongyan. She has imagined more than once what kind of man she would have her first time with, but she never thought that her first time would be raped by such an ugly and rustic old migrant worker. If Zhigang wanted her, she would give herself to him without hesitation. But Zhigang never wanted her, and she did not dare to have any expectations.

The fact is, apart from being raped once, she has never slept with a man.

Chapter 054 Jing'er (2)

The bite wound on Zhigang's left shoulder was a little inflamed and did not heal for a long time. Lanhua came to his office to find him. He was opening the bookcase to find a book when Lanhua patted his shoulder. He cried out and was so frightened that Lanhua quickly pulled her hand back.

"What's wrong with you? Did you hurt your shoulder?"

Lanhua lifted the short sleeve of Zhigang's t-shirt and found the teeth marks.

"Who bit me? And why so deep?"

Lan Hua felt a pang of pain, followed by anger. She glared at Zhi Gang. "You're making this woman happy, aren't you?"

Zhi Gang didn't dare speak. Lan Hua's chest heaved with anger, her face flushed red. Zhi Gang had never seen Lan Hua angry before; he thought she looked quite beautiful when she was angry, especially since it was from jealousy.

"I know, it must be Guiling. Isn't it?"

"Shh. Keep your voice down."

"Are you afraid people will find out? Who doesn't know you and I are having an affair?"

Zhigang pleaded in a low voice, "Lanhua, please stop, okay? How long has it been since I touched you? About two years. What am I supposed to do?"

"I'm in front of you every day, why don't you come to me?"

"That's not reasonable. You and Third Brother are all lovey-dovey now, and I see you're very content. Why would I come to you? Don't I want to come to you? Besides, you don't come to me either."

Lanhua chuckled, "That's true. I'm like a full man who doesn't know the hunger of a starving man. But I just don't want you and Guiling to be together. Just thinking about you and her naked together makes me sad."

"You're just jealous. If I went to a prostitute, would you be okay with that?"

"Yes. I'd be okay with as many as you want."

Zhigang laughed too, "Incomprehensible."

Lanhua's anger subsided, "Seriously, you should find someone to marry."

"Who?"

“Jing’er, I originally thought you wouldn’t like her because she’s been with other men. But then I thought, how many women have you slept with? Why wouldn’t you like her? Such a good girl, marrying her is a bargain for you.”

Two lovers recommending the same girl to marry him—this was utterly absurd. But Zhigang had to seriously consider it.

Having worked together for many years, Lan Hua had long seen that Jing’er liked Zhigang, but because Jing’er knew so much about her relationship with Zhigang, she couldn’t act as matchmaker.

On Saturday afternoon, Lan Hua and Gui Ling invited Zhigang to get together that evening, and Jing’er also came from school. Zhigang had already moved into his own apartment, and Gui Ling brought some raw and cooked vegetables to cook for him. Both women were skilled at housework, especially Lan Hua, who had cooked for a construction team for several years; these dishes were a piece of cake for her. Soon, six dishes and a soup, three meat and three vegetable dishes, were on the table.

Gui Ling even brought wine—the Gujing Yuanjiang that Zhigang often drank. She opened a bottle of wine and poured it into four glasses, emptying the bottle.

Guiling, with a flourish, picked up her glass and said, "How about we finish the first glass in three sips?"

Zhigang quickly replied, "I can't drink that."

Guiling glanced at Lanhua and said, "Let's make a collective decision. Everyone agrees on finishing it in three sips, okay?"

Lanhua was the first to support, "Okay. I agree."

Guiling asked Jing'er, "Jing'er, do you agree?"

Jing'er smiled, pursing her lips, "I abstain."

"Okay, two votes in favor is an absolute majority, passed."

Zhigang knew the two women's drinking capacity, but his objection was futile.

The second bottle of wine was then divided up. Guiling then said, "Our rule is three, two, one. The second glass is to be finished in two sips, does everyone agree?"

Zhigang quickly spoke before Lanhua could, "No, no. I'll pass out after this glass, what's the point of you three women playing?"

Lanhua said, "That's true. Then let's drink slowly. Zhigang, I'll toast you first."

She then took a big sip. Zhigang could only take a sip. Lan Hua said, "No, you haven't drunk enough. You have to drink like me."

Zhi Gang said, "Third Sister-in-law, you don't know my drinking capacity."

"Alright, if you drink a little more, I won't hold it against you. Here, you drink 'one mu'."

"What one mu?"

Lan Hua picked up Zhi Gang's glass, held his thumb horizontally, with the top of his thumb level with the wine in the glass, and said, "You drink to the bottom of your thumb."

Zhi Gang had no choice but to drink "one mu." Gui Ling said, "Zhi Gang, I'll toast you 'one mu'.

" Zhi Gang drank "one mu" again. Gui Ling said to Jing'er, "Jing'er, you should also toast Zhi Gang 'one mu'."

Jing'er obediently toasted him 'one mu'. Zhi Gang was already dizzy. He shouted, "No, today the three of you are bullying me. You should toast each other too."

Lan Hua said, "Of course we will. Gui Ling, I'll toast you."

The two women downed the rest of their wine in one gulp.

After the third bottle of wine was finished, Lan Hua said, "That's all the wine we have, no more bottles."

She whispered in Gui Ling's ear, "If you drink any more, Zhi Gang won't be able to get up."

Gui Ling chuckled.

Chapter 055 Jing'er (3)

After dinner, the three women washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Zhi Gang was already asleep on the bed, fully clothed.

Lan Hua said to Jing'er, "We're leaving. Take good care of Zhi Gang."

It seems that Jing'er also has a good tolerance for alcohol, as her face is still pale after drinking so much. She blushed and said anxiously, "I'll go with you."

Lan Hua sternly said, "Listen to me. Where are you going? There's no room for you here. Zhi Gang will definitely need to drink water tonight, and he might even vomit. How can he be left unattended? What if he gets drunk and runs around outside?"

Without further ado, the two women squeezed out the door and quickly closed it. They smiled at each other. "It must be painful to push the man you love into another woman's arms, right?" Lan Hua said.

"Not only painful, but also absurd."

Gui Ling laughed as tears streamed down her face, which she secretly wiped away when Lan Hua wasn't looking.

Jing'er understood while drinking that the two women were creating opportunities for her and Zhi Gang. But she also found it absurd. Given Lan Hua and Zhi Gang's relationship, how could she be willing to push Jing'er into Zhi Gang's arms? She didn't know about Gui Ling and Zhi Gang's relationship yet, but if she did, she would understand that they didn't want the other to have Zhi Gang.

Jing'er took off Zhi Gang's shoes and clothes, covered him with a blanket, and lay down beside him fully clothed. She wanted to take off her clothes and crawl into Zhi Gang's bed, but she didn't dare. She couldn't sleep, so she left the light on, lying on her side looking at Zhi Gang's handsome face, her gaze moving along the sharp lines of his features. When she first arrived, Zhi Gang was still an 18-year-old young man, his face only delicate and lacking in strength, but now he was much more masculine.

Jing'er had also drunk quite a bit, but instead of sleeping, she couldn't fall asleep. She stared wide-eyed at Zhigang, her mind wandering. After what seemed like an eternity, Zhigang turned over and woke up. He got up to go to the bathroom, and Jing'er quickly got up to help him. Zhigang asked curiously, "Huh, you haven't left yet?"

Jing'er blushed again, "Third Sister-in-law and Sister Guiling asked me to stay and take care of you, in case you throw up tonight."

Zhigang understood that the two women were creating an opportunity for him. Returning from the bathroom, he lay back down. Jing'er asked, "Do you want some water?"

"Yes."

Jing'er handed Zhigang a teacup, which he drank in one gulp, then turned and hugged Jing'er, falling back onto the bed. Jing'er struggled but couldn't break free; Zhigang held her tightly.

"Jing'er, I will definitely treat you well. I want to marry you."

Looking at her beautiful face, Zhigang felt a little dizzy. He knew Jing'er was beautiful, but he had never really looked at her closely. Now, seeing her so close, the more he looked, the more he liked her. Jing'er was a classic beauty, with large eyes, a small mouth, a straight nose, and fair, smooth skin. Normally, her beauty, combined with her elegant demeanor, made her unapproachable. But now, she was right before him, in his arms, and Zhigang's heart fluttered. He gently kissed Jing'er's small, red lips, which moved slightly in response. Unable to control himself, he thrust his tongue into her red mouth, kissing her passionately. Jing'er extended her small tongue, eagerly sucking on Zhigang's. She had never kissed before, yet she instinctively enjoyed this first kiss.

Jing'er's outer garment was gone, leaving her only in a vest, revealing her two delicate, snow-white breasts beneath her bra to Zhigang. Jing'er dressed conservatively; no one had ever seen her breasts before, only able to discern their size through her outer garment. Zhigang removed her undergarments and bra, and was astonished to discover that breasts could be so beautiful. He had always thought that big breasts were all that mattered, but now he realized that wasn't the case. Jing'er's breasts weren't large, but they were full, white, round, and jade-like, standing upright on her chest, with small brown nipples slightly upturned. These were the breasts of a virgin. Although she was no longer a virgin, her breasts were still.

Zhigang was about to take off Jing'er's shorts when he suddenly remembered something and stopped. He remembered that this body had been raped before, and that such a white and delicate body had been so brutally violated, which pained him. He didn't want to evoke Jing'er's painful memories, and he didn't want Jing'er to think that he was also a shameless perpetrator.

Chapter 056 Jing'er (4)

The clever Jing'er knew what Zhigang was thinking. She could feel the burning temperature of Zhigang's body, and his penis was hard and pressed against her thigh. She wanted to grab his genitals with her hands, but she was too embarrassed. She didn't actually have much desire, but she wanted to hug Zhigang tightly, to press her whole body tightly against the body of this man who exuded masculine youth. She didn't know what kind of pleasure would follow. All she remembered was the intense pain and the bleeding. She was prepared to endure that pain again to bring Zhigang pleasure. Zhigang's pleasure made her happy too.

Seeing Zhigang stop, Jing'er cupped his head and kissed him, saying, "Zhigang, take me. I can handle it."

Zhigang suppressed his impulse and said, "I'm afraid of hurting you. Are you really okay?"

Jing'er took off her shorts herself: "Really. As long as you're happy, I'll be happy. Don't promise anything, I won't force you to marry me."

"How could I not marry you? What man wouldn't want to marry you? You really underestimate yourself."

Zhigang didn't dare to be careless and gently approached Jing'er. The moment he touched her lower body, she winced and gasped. Zhigang knew she was in pain and didn't dare to be presumptuous, so he stopped.

Jing'er, bracing herself for the pain, said, "Zhigang, it's alright, come on."

Zhigang gently kissed her, from her lips to her ears, then to her neck, until Jing'er felt a tingling sensation all over her body, experiencing a comfort and pleasure she had never felt before. She hoped his tongue wouldn't stop, continuing to kiss every part of her body it hadn't yet reached. She thought this was what the pleasure of lovemaking was like. That magical tongue continued downwards, kissing her breasts, then her abdomen, and finally her pubic area. At this moment, Jing'er felt a heat rising in that area, gradually expanding and spreading throughout her body. She felt her body open up, yearning for Zhigang to enter, and wanting to absorb him completely.

Zhigang's tongue went in first. When he felt the time was right, he slowly, slowly entered Jing'er's body. There was no pain, no resistance; he finally possessed Jing'er.

Jing'er had only intended to give Zhigang pleasure, but she hadn't expected to experience such intense pleasure herself. For the past few years, she had lived in loneliness and pain, never daring to hope for happiness.

Afterwards, Zhigang collapsed onto the bed, drenched in sweat. This was the most exhausting sex he'd ever had, but incredibly pleasurable. The women he'd been with before were all more sexually experienced than him; even their first time together, they could be completely uninhibited. But this time, it was probably more tiring than having sex with a virgin.

Waking up in the morning, Zhigang felt like he was dreaming. He stroked the smooth, rounded breasts in his arms, finally feeling the reality, and his penis became hard again. But he dared not, knowing Jing'er couldn't withstand such frequent torment. He kissed her red lips and gently got up. It was Saturday; let Jing'er sleep in.

Zhigang went to the office, and Lan Hua was there too. They had no concept of weekends; they came to the office every day.

Lan Hua observed Zhigang and asked, "Did things go well last night?"

Zhigang grinned, his face flushing.

Lan Hua twisted Zhi Gang's ear hard and said, "You're making me so angry."

Zhi Gang said, "It's all your fault. Why are you blaming me?"

"It was me. Why couldn't you withstand the test?"

"After you made me drink so much, who could withstand the test?"

Lan Hua's anger subsided, and her eyes were filled with spring passion. She quietly asked, "How was it? Did you have fun?"

"I didn't have fun with you."

"Don't lie to me. You're just making fun of me. What man doesn't like virgins and young women?"

Zhi Gang said, "Third sister-in-law, aren't you having fun now?"

Lan Hua didn't speak, which was considered an admission. She thought to herself: Why do I want Zhi Gang again?

She originally wanted to never have anything to do with Zhi Gang again, so she let him have a woman. But she didn't expect to evoke the happiness in her memory.

Chapter 057 Hong Yan is missing (1)

Jing'er also came to the office. She was also the manager of the personnel and administration department, and her desk was still there. When she saw Lan Hua, her face turned red, as red as a flag, and it didn't fade for a while. She felt as if she were naked in front of her third sister-in-law, her flesh exposed to her nakedness.

Lan Hua knew she was embarrassed, so she stopped joking.

Zhi Gang's phone rang; it was Da Peng calling.

"Zhi Gang, where are you now?"

"I'm in the company office."

"Then don't leave! I'm coming right away, it's urgent."

Zhi Gang hung up and said to Lan Hua, "Da Peng calling me, it can't be good news."

Da Peng was still doing his job, making a lot of money in the past two years, and his business had grown significantly. He was rumored to be preparing to invest in a KTV.

About half an hour later, Da Peng rushed over.

"Zhi Gang, Hong Yan seems to have disappeared."

"What? Seems to have disappeared?"

"Yes. I haven't seen her for over ten days, and I can't get through to her on the phone. Where do you think she could have gone?"

"Did you ask her sister, Jia Fang?"

"I didn't dare ask directly, afraid she'd come after me for Hongyan. I just casually asked her if Hongyan had gone, and she said no."

"That child has nowhere to go. She only has an older sister, Jiafang, and a younger brother at home."

"So, I'm worried something might happen. Like kidnapping or abduction."

"Kidnapping is unlikely. What's the point of kidnapping her? Besides, no one's asking for ransom. Abduction is another story."

"And, there's someone else who disappeared around the same time as her, someone you know, Xiaocui."

"Xiaocui disappeared too?"

Zhigang liked Xiaocui very much, treating her like a younger sister.

Lan Hua said, "If someone hasn't been seen for more than ten days, you should report it to the police."

Da Peng said, "Third Sister-in-law, you absolutely mustn't report it. If you do, the police will arrest me first."

Lan Hua said, "Who told you to do such a heinous thing? Are you just going to ignore it? What if something really happens?"

"Yes, I'm in a dilemma too, that's why I asked Zhi Gang for advice. If we can't find Hong Yan, her sister will kill me."

Zhi Gang asked, "You mean they both disappeared at the same time?"

"Yes."

"Who last saw them?"

"I asked many people, Xiao Hong said she saw them together going out more than ten days ago, but I don't know if that was the last time she saw them."

"Do you know who they went out with? What time did they go out?"

"It might be a phone call I received, I don't recognize the number, saying they wanted Hong Yan and Xiao Cui to go out with them, and asked them to have dinner at the Tianyi Hotel. If it's the same time Xiao Hong said, then they went out around 4 pm."

Zhi Gang thought for a moment and said, "Da Peng, I'm afraid we still have to report this to the police."

"Wouldn't that be the same as me turning myself in?"

“This is a matter of life and death, can you bear the consequences? Besides, this is just a missing person investigation. What the missing person did before is irrelevant to this case, the police may not care.”

“However,”

Zhigang added, “you can’t file a police report, you should have Jiafang do it.”

“I dare not say that. Zhigang, you should talk to Jiafang.”

“I will. But you have to come with me to find Jiafang.”

They rushed to the vegetable market, where Jiafang was selling vegetables. Zhigang said, “Jiafang, have you seen Hongyan these past few days?”

Jiafang said, “Isn’t Hongyan following Dapeng? Why are

you asking me?” “How long has it been since you contacted Hongyan?”

“At least half a month. That girl never calls me first.”

Zhigang looked at the vegetable stalls on both sides and said, “Jiafang, ask someone else to watch the vegetable stall. I need to talk to you outside.”

Jiafang said something to a woman at a nearby vegetable stall, and then walked out of the market with Zhigang and Dapeng. Zhigang found a secluded spot to stand and said to Jiafang, "Dapeng hasn't been able to find Hongyan for over ten days."

"What? Where did she go?"

"Don't worry, Jiafang. Let's think of something together. She might have been kidnapped, abducted, or perhaps she went to another place with her friends to make a living."

Jiafang almost cried when she heard Zhigang say that the consequences were serious: "What can we do?"

Zhigang said, "The only way now is to call the police."

"Then call the police quickly."

"Jiafang, you are Hongyan's sister, it's more appropriate for you to call the police."

"Okay. Okay. Then go quickly."

Zhigang called Dazhi's comrade-in-arms Zheng Liang. When they arrived at the police station, Officer Zheng was already waiting. After

listening to Zhigang's account and asking Jiafang a few questions, Zheng Liang felt that the matter was quite serious and should not be taken lightly. He said to Zhigang, "We will send someone to investigate. I will notify you immediately if we find anything."

Chapter 058 Hongyan is Missing (2)

Hongyan and Xiaocui were indeed kidnapped. The kidnappers were Peng Jiayou and four other migrant workers. Their aim wasn't to rob them of their money, but to sexually assault them.

Hongyan and Xiaocui's prices had risen to 200 yuan per encounter, and Peng Jiayou, seeing his hopes dwindling, felt increasingly resentful. He watched as those with mediocre skills, who had become foremen simply through luck or flattery, received high wages and frequently brought Hongyan, Xiaocui, or Xiaohong to seduce him right in front of them, fueling his anger. Peng Jiayou could only afford to spend 30-50 yuan to hire older women like Zhou Laidi to relieve his frustrations; the younger women were unattractive, and he felt resentful.

Peng Jiayou was the foreman, and he had several followers. His apprentice, Yang Decai, was one. There was also Liu Yuanhua from Sichuan and Chang Bo from Jiangxi, carpenters under Peng Jiayou; Guan Pengcheng from Hubei and Sun Jiasheng from Hunan, bricklayers. Peng Jiayou often drank and frequented brothels with these four men, sometimes hiring one or two prostitutes to take turns. They all shared a common desire: to sleep with Hongyan, Xiaocui, or Xiaohong. But their wages were withheld by Dazhi and wouldn't be paid until the end of the year. The little money they received during the week was only enough for daily necessities, cigarettes, and a little gambling. Even if they were frugal, they could only afford to spend thirty or fifty yuan once every ten days or so to patronize a prostitute, which was far too expensive for Hongyan and her accomplices. Liu Yuanhua often said he would save some money to patronize Hongyan every few months, but he never did.

Once, Hongyan came to see Peng Daqun, the manager of the construction team. Peng Dayou went up to greet her, but she glanced at him expressionlessly, didn't say a word, and walked straight into the manager's office, making Dayou lose face. He was ridiculed by Liu Yuanhua and the others for several days.

While drinking, Peng Dayou asked his buddies, "Want to sleep with Hongyan?"

Liu Yuanhua asked, "Do you have money?"

Dayou said, "Are you out of your mind? All you know is spending money, you have no creativity whatsoever. Anyone with money knows how to find prostitutes. If you're so capable, you can sleep with prostitutes without spending money, and they'll be pretty girls too."

"Do you have a way?"

"I have a way, what do you guys think?"

After Dayou finished explaining his plan, Liu Yuanhua slammed his fist on the table: "Fine! I'd kill anyone to sleep with Hongyan."

Chang Bo mocked him, "Don't brag. If you have the guts to kill, Hongyan will be begging you to sleep with her."

Guan Pengcheng said, "I want Xiaocui."

Dayou said, "Okay. It'll be Hongyan and Xiaocui. I've planned everything out, just do as I say."

Peng Dayou's plan was indeed quite meticulous. They spent two months preparing. Then they asked Yang Decai to buy a phone number and had Guan Pengcheng pretend to be a regular customer to call Dayou and arrange to meet Hongyan and Xiaocui. Dapeng didn't take it seriously and sent the two of them.

They tried to get Hongyan and Xiaocui drunk, but the two women were seasoned veterans, not only good at being coquettish and persistent, but also capable of holding their liquor. Seeing that they couldn't get them drunk, Peng Dayou resorted to his second plan: drugging them.

This worked. After the two women fell asleep, Dayou and Liu Yuanhua each carried one of them out of the hotel. This was a common occurrence in hotels, so it wouldn't attract attention. They took two taxis towards the city center, got off at the Middle Ring Road, and then hailed three more taxis across the street: Dayou and Hongyan in one, Liu Yuanhua and Xiaocui in another, and the remaining three in the third. They then drove back and got off at Chencun, near the migrant workers' home in the neighboring village. The three taxis didn't arrive at the same time, and the drivers didn't see each other, assuming they were just a couple or three men in one car, and that the police wouldn't suspect anything if they came across them.

They rented a farmer's house in Chencun, a detached house with its own yard. They spent two months digging a cellar inside, the entrance hidden beneath the wardrobe in the bedroom. Guan Pengcheng moved the wardrobe and lowered a movable wooden ladder—Peng Dayou's masterpiece. Once retracted, it would prevent anyone from climbing up, and the ladder was suspended above the opening, very discreet, to avoid arousing suspicion if a ladder appeared outside. The group carefully lowered Hongyan and Xiaocui onto the prepared bedding, letting out a long sigh of relief.

Liu Yuanhua, regaining his composure, looked at Hongyan on the bedding. Her face, flushed from drinking, was still alluring, her tightly closed phoenix eyes seemingly capable of seducing men, and her breasts, after all the commotion along the way, were almost completely exposed. He said hastily, "I'm going to sleep with this girl right now."

Peng Jiayou stopped him, "What's the rush? They're here, they'll be yours sooner or later. Let them wake up first. What's the point of doing it if they're like dead people?"

Chapter 059 Hongyan is missing (3)

Peng Jiayou gave Hongyan and Xiaocui sleeping pills, but not a large amount. He wanted them to be dazed but not asleep, so that they would be half-awake and carried out of the hotel without arousing suspicion. After entering the cellar for a while, Hongyan woke up. Seeing herself lying on the ground with five men standing and staring at her, she quickly sat up and asked, "Peng Jiayou, what are you doing?"

Peng Jiayou laughed, "You call yourself a professional in this line of work, and you still don't know what I'm up to?"

"You want to sleep with me for free."

"Smart. You and Da Peng are too greedy. You charge so much for one time. Where would I get the money? These days, ability equals money. I managed to get you here, so you have to serve us for free."

Hongyan panicked a little, "Where is this? Don't you want to let me out?"

"What would you do if you went out? Aren't five of us enough for you? I'm supporting you, so don't go back to earning that hard-earned money."

"Bullshit. You bastard."

Hongyan tried to stand up, but Liu Yuanhua pushed her down and pounced on her, "My little darling, I've missed you so much. Let me enjoy myself first."

The four men stood by, arms crossed, watching. Liu Yuanhua pulled at her clothes, straining with all his might, but it was like hitting a wall; he couldn't get in. Having lost face in front of other men, he flew into a rage, stood up, and forcefully inserted a thick, powerful finger into her. Hongyan screamed in pain

. Liu Yuanhua then thrust in with all his might.

Peng Jiayou commented from the side, "I thought a whore's thing was loose, that you could just go in whenever you wanted. Looks like that's not the case. You have to be willing for her to go in."

At this moment, Xiaocui also woke up. Guan Pengcheng, who loved her the most, couldn't hold back any longer. He took off her clothes and kissed her breasts passionately. He learned from Liu Yuanhua's lesson and didn't rush into anything, choosing to be gentle first.

Xiaocui was still in a panic, not knowing where she was. But years of experience in this line of work made her realize that someone was soliciting her, so she involuntarily went to meet him. Guan Pengcheng entered smoothly and triumphantly.

The two finished quickly. Peng Dayou then went to Hongyan, and Chang Bo went to Xiaocui. This time, Hongyan had learned her lesson. She knew that a strong refusal would only cause her pain, so she had no choice but to cooperate with Dayou, letting him enter and torment her.

The two men finished. Only Peng Dayou's apprentice, Yang Decai, remained. This young man was only 17, burly, and 1.8 meters tall, but timid and cowardly by nature. He was from northern Anhui and had only been Peng Dayou's apprentice for two months; this was their first time out looking for women together. When it was his turn, he stood there, too afraid to go.

"Decai, it's your turn. Which of the two women do you want to play with first?"

Peng Dayou reminded him.

Yang Decai still stood there motionless. Peng Dayou grew impatient, went up and pulled down his pants, seeing his lower body still limp.

"Looks like you've never been with a woman before,"

Peng Dayou said, "But you have to do it today. If you don't, we'll lock you up with them."

Peng Dayou said to the others, "Come on, he's probably doing it for the first time, too embarrassed to do it in front of others. Let's go up."

The four men climbed the stairs to the entrance, and Guan Pengcheng pulled the stairs up and secured them. Those below could no longer climb up.

Yang Decai didn't know what to do, and could only stand there, his face flushed red. Hongyan sat on the bed, looking up at the honest young man's face, and found it amusing. His huge penis was still exposed, very close to her. She touched it with her hand, and the thing swayed a few times and then stopped. She grabbed it with her hand, but even with a full hand, she couldn't hold it. This was a flaccid state; she knew how frightening it would be if it got hard. But it just wouldn't move, no matter how she played with it. Hongyan thought, "Is this young man born impotent?"

Hongyan said, "I don't believe there are any men who aren't interested in me."

She stood up and hugged Yang Decai with her bare body. She was only as tall as Yang Decai's shoulders, so she pressed her face against his chest and kissed his buttocks. Her hands stroked Yang Decai's back, from his back to his buttocks, and then grabbed his buttocks in the front. Still no movement.

Hongyan pushed Yang Decai away and said angrily, "Are you even a man?"

Chapter 060 Hongyan is missing (4)

Yang Decai knew why he couldn't do it.

Two months ago, he was still a high school student. During summer vacation, he stayed at home, and his sister-in-law came to his room every day. He knew what she wanted. His older brother worked in Beijing and only came home for the Spring Festival, leaving his sister-in-law lonely. But he didn't dare, not because he was afraid of his brother, but because he was afraid of his mother.

Yang Decai had been insecure since childhood, mainly because of his mother. His mother would hit and scold him whenever she wanted, without any reason. Sometimes, when his mother burned her hand while cooking, she would slap him across the face if he was around. If she lost at mahjong and was in a bad mood, she would beat him when she got home. He always wondered if he wasn't his mother's biological son, why she always hit him and not his brother. Actually, his brother was much more mischievous than him and was always getting into trouble. He also wondered if he was ugly and his mother didn't like him? Or was he stupid? In short, he must have something wrong with him, otherwise his mother wouldn't hate him so much. Sometimes he thought that maybe he looked too much like his father, in appearance, height, and personality. Actually, his mother scolded his father more than him. The most common insult he received was "good-for-nothing," and his father always remained silent when insulted, confirming the fact that he was indeed a good-for-

nothing. Growing up like this, he was already incredibly insecure. Fortunately, his grades were passable, and he had a chance to get into a junior college. Only after his older brother insisted and offered to cover all his tuition and expenses did his mother agree to let him attend high school.

His sister-in-law was constantly seducing him; it was impossible for him not to be tempted. But his mother was always out, and he was afraid she would come in and beat him at any moment. He was afraid.

After all, he was a boy who had never seen a woman before, and he couldn't resist the temptation of a mature woman. That day, while his mother was in the fields, his sister-in-law secretly went to De Cai's room, hugged him, kissed and caressed him, and pulled down his pants to fondle his breasts. His sister-in-law even let his hands touch her breasts, and then directly pulled his hands down to touch her already wet genitals, making her moan softly. He couldn't resist any longer and hugged his sister-in-law and went inside. As soon as he entered, the door was kicked open with a bang, and his mother came in with a kitchen knife, intending to cut off his genitals. Terrified, he felt as if he had fallen into an abyss, his lower body seemingly gone, as if it had already been chopped off. When he opened his tightly closed eyes, his mother was wildly hacking at the bedside table with the knife, disciplining his sister-in-law.

Taking advantage of his mother's punishment, Yang Decai managed to escape. He dared not go home again, first staying overnight at a classmate's house in a neighboring village, then borrowing 100 yuan from his classmate and taking the train to Shanghai. Luckily, just as he was running out of money, he met Peng Jiayou, who agreed to take him on as an apprentice, for which he was deeply grateful. Once

in the construction team, the laborers talked about women and sex every day, and he wondered if he had actually entered his sister-in-law's body. Had he already entered before his mother barged into the room, or had she already walked in before? He couldn't remember any of the details. In other words, whether he is considered a virgin who has never been with a woman or not is an unsolved mystery.

While listening to others talk about women and thinking about women himself, he didn't notice that he hadn't gotten an erection; he thought it was normal. He even wanted to go out and play with women with his mentors,

but today he realized he couldn't get an erection. He immediately understood why.

He knew that nothing he did would succeed; the worst outcome would always come. Today was no exception. So he accepted the reality of his impotence. It's nothing, isn't that life? But what's the point of living like this?

Yang Decai put on his clothes and found that Hongyan and Xiaocui were already dressed. Hongyan felt sorry for him and said softly, "Sit down. Standing is tiring."

Yang Decai obediently sat down on the floor next to Hongyan. Hongyan asked him, "Where are we now?"

Yang Decai immediately became alert, glanced at her, and remained silent. The Peng family had repeatedly instructed him not to reveal their location, to be wary of them trying to escape, and not to give them any opportunity to pass information out.

"Fine, don't tell me then."

Hongyan hadn't expected him to say it so easily anyway. "However, I can help you cure your ailment. Do you believe me?"

"Really?"

Yang Decai looked at her, half-believing and half-doubting.

"Don't you think about what I do? What haven't I encountered in this line of work? There are plenty of cases like yours. It's not a problem, it's mainly psychological. If you cooperate with me, I'll cure you."

"How do I have to cooperate?"

"If I really cure you, you'll help us escape."

"What if I can't?"

"If I can't be cured, I'll accept my fate."

"If you can't cure me, keeping you here is useless to me."

"Exactly. Don't you think about it? You're kidnapping, it's illegal, you'll be imprisoned if caught. Such a big risk, it won't do you any good, why bother? It's better to help us escape, atone for our sins, and we'll be lenient with you."

"But if you cure me, won't I want to keep you here?"

"True. Then I won't cure you."

"No way. I promise I'll help you escape. But I have a condition."

"What condition?"

"After we get out, you'll speak up for me to the police, don't let them arrest me."

"That's for sure."

"And..."

Yang Decai recalled the scene of his sister-in-law... he felt a surge of emotion.

Hongyan warned, "You've already made a condition."

"It's not a condition, it's a request. I'll help you whether you agree or not."

"What request?"

"After we get out, you two,"

Yang Decai glanced at Xiao Cui sitting to the side, "you and her, don't ask me for money when you come to my place."

Hongyan laughed loudly, "You little rascal. You're still impotent, and you're already so greedy? I like lustful men. But, we'll talk about this request after we get out. If you can make me happy, I won't ask for money. As for Xiao Cui, I can't make that decision." Yang

Decai blushed and glanced at Xiao Cui. Xiao Cui didn't speak, so he didn't ask any more questions.

Chapter 061 Searching for the Missing Person (1)

Zhigang felt uneasy at the thought of Xiao Cui's disappearance. He had no lust for Xiao Cui, but he always had a sense of care and love for her.

According to the information from the police station, it would be difficult to find them. This case was neither big nor small. There were many cases much bigger than this, so the police could only focus their energy on the more important cases. It seemed he had to figure it out himself, but even the police were powerless; what could he do?

Zhigang thought that if they left Shanghai, there was nothing he could do, and he would have to leave it at that. For now, he would just pretend they were still in Shanghai. If they were in Shanghai, their activity range shouldn't be too far from the headquarters of the neighboring village association. Hongyan's activity range was in this area; she wouldn't easily go far. That is to say, if they weren't deliberately going far away but were forced into it, there was at least a possibility of finding clues nearby.

Zheng Liang told Zhigang that their investigation revealed that someone had seen Hongyan and Xiaocui at the Tianyi Hotel, drinking with four or five migrant workers. Later, it seemed that both of them were drunk and were helped into a taxi by the migrant workers, seemingly heading towards the city center.

There were no other clues. More than twenty days had passed, and Zhigang considered the worst-case scenario. He checked the news every day, looking for any unusual stories, such as a female corpse found in the wild or a female corpse floating in a river. Fortunately, there were no such news reports. He thought that even if they had really been trafficked and married off, at least they were still alive. Besides, having a man who loves her is better than being a prostitute here. Jiafang

came again. These past few days, Jiafang has been frantic, unable to focus on selling vegetables, constantly looking for Dapeng and Zhigang. Whenever she sees Dapeng, she berates him, accusing him of not only corrupting Hongyan, turning her into a prostitute, but also losing her. She demands he return her. She claims that if Hongyan dies, she'll fight Dapeng to the death. Dapeng has no choice but to agree to find her.

Jiafang holds Lanhua's hand, crying uncontrollably, saying she can't live without Hongyan. She brought Hongyan from her hometown, promising her mother she wouldn't let Hongyan go astray, would find her a good job, and then marry her off to a good family. But she lied to her mother from the start. She brought Hongyan here intending for her to become a prostitute, thinking it would earn her more money. She herself works hard selling vegetables every day, getting up before dawn and going to bed before dawn, exhausting herself and earning very little, wasting her youth. She was only in her thirties, but looked forty. She thought that if she hadn't sold vegetables when she first arrived in Shanghai, but had instead worked as a prostitute, she would not only be making money now, but she wouldn't look so old.

Jiafang had eloped with her husband, Jiang Dahai. She had an engagement back home, and nothing would have changed if she hadn't met Jiang Dahai. But just two months before their wedding, Jiang Dahai, discharged from the army, returned to the village. Jiafang had always secretly loved Jiang Dahai, but they hadn't interacted much, and before she could confess, he joined the army, and they lost contact. However, when Dahai returned to the village in his old military uniform, looking proud and imposing, Jiafang made up her mind to seize this last chance to pursue him. If he agreed, she would elope; if he didn't, she would marry someone else.

To her surprise, Dahai not only readily agreed but also immediately took her. Dahai actually had a good impression of her, but he hadn't expected her to like him too. With Jiafang's wedding date drawing closer, they decided to elope. This was a shameful affair in their hometown, known throughout the surrounding villages. So when Jiafang told her she was taking her younger sister to Shanghai, her mother repeatedly warned her not to lead Hongyan astray.

They suffered a great deal in Shanghai. Dahai worked as a laborer, a porter, hauling bricks at a brick kiln, and doing hard labor at Xinghuo Farm; Jiafang worked as a nanny, a part-time worker, and a street vendor. When neither of them had a job, they went hungry and considered jumping into the Huangpu River to commit suicide. Jiafang said, "Why commit suicide? It's better for me to become a prostitute and earn money to support you first, and then you can support me when you find a good job."

Dahai resolutely refused, saying, "I'd rather die than let you become a prostitute. What kind of man am I if I can't even support and protect my own woman?"

Fortunately, they survived the most difficult time; they themselves didn't know how they got through it. Later, they discovered that many people from their hometown sold vegetables at the market, and with their help, they rented a stall to sell vegetables, finally having a stable income.

Dahai was quick-witted and not satisfied with his income. He thought of going upstream to do vegetable wholesale business, and he discovered the secret to doing business. Later, he heard from a fellow villager that the most people from his hometown in Beijing were doing vegetable wholesale business, and they had formed their own industrial chain and group. As long as a fellow villager went there and entered this group, he could make a lot of money steadily. Dahai went to Beijing alone to explore the way, and sure enough, his fellow villagers took good care of him. It is said that the big vegetable wholesalers in Beijing are all from Anhui. The most powerful one is so powerful that if he coughs, the whole vegetable market in Beijing will catch a cold.

Dahai became rich, but he also had a woman in Beijing and never mentioned taking Jiafang over again. Now if Jiafang says she wants to be a prostitute, he probably won't object.

Chapter 062 Searching for the Missing Person (2)

Lanhua kept wiping Jiafang's tears with tissues and comforted her, saying, "Don't think badly. We may find Hongyan at any time."

Zhigang said, "Yes. We are all worried about Hongyan, but Xiaocui is also missing. I wonder if anyone is worried about her."

Lanhua said, "Isn't it you who is worried?"

Zhigang blushed and didn't say anything.

Jiafang said, "This is God punishing me. Who told me to lie to my mother and not lead Hongyan onto the right path?"

"Don't think like that,"

Lanhua said. "The police station is already investigating and will find them soon."

At this moment, Dapeng arrived. Seeing Jiafang inside, he stood at the door, not daring to come in. Zhigang said, "Come in, what are you afraid of? There's no use saying anything now, the key is to think of a solution."

Dapeng came in and said, "Zhigang, do you think it's possible that Hongyan and the others are being hidden by the migrant workers?"

Zhigang looked at Jiafang and asked, "Why is that possible?"

"Hongyan is very expensive now; most migrant workers can't afford her, but they all like her and want her to go out with them. Maybe some daring migrant worker tied them up and locked them in a room?"

"We can't rule that out. We fellow villagers aren't highly educated, but we're bold. What outrageous things wouldn't we do?"

"If that's the case, do you think we can investigate?"

Zhigang thought for a moment and said, "If that's the case, then we have something to do. The most likely suspects are the migrant workers under Dazhi and those at the surrounding construction sites. The scope isn't large. We can quietly investigate these construction sites to see if any migrant workers have unusual lifestyles. We should focus on the migrant workers who don't live in the construction site dormitories. That will narrow down the scope even further."

Dapeng asked, "Should we contact the police station?"

“Yes, I will. I will communicate with Zheng Liang, and it would be best to ask them to send people to investigate, that way we will be more certain,”

Da Peng said. “I will send a few people to the construction sites to investigate. My people are familiar with the area, and some of them were originally migrant workers there, so no one will suspect them.”

“That’s fine. You can also choose a few reliable young ladies to investigate secretly. They will be less likely to be suspected and are more likely to find useful clues. For example, see which migrant workers are not interested in them, that’s suspicious.”

“Yes. That’s a good idea. I’ll go back and arrange it now.”

Da Peng went back and discussed this matter with Xiao Hong. Xiao Hong was his lover, and she was reliable, so he trusted

her the most. It’s too difficult to find reliable people among prostitutes; people who can do honest work rarely become prostitutes. Xiao Hong found two young ladies she thought were good, one named Xiao Ying and the other named Xiao Yan. Da Peng explained the situation to them and told them that he would send them to several construction sites to work as prostitutes. They went there, firstly to listen, paying attention to the unintentional remarks of the migrant workers, which might be valuable; secondly, to observe, noting each person's expression and reaction, and to be suspicious if anyone showed no interest in them.

Opportunities abounded, and Da Peng quickly dispatched them. Just then, Peng Daqun called wanting prostitutes, so Da Peng sent Xiao Hong.

These days, the Peng family was quite pleased with themselves. They went to work as usual, eating lunch at the construction site canteen and only returning home in the evening to cook, sending the leftovers down to the cellar for Hongyan and the other girl to eat throughout the day, two of which were cold meals.

At lunchtime, the five migrant workers gathered together as usual. Liu Yuanhua said, "I need to go out for a bit after lunch."

Peng Jiayou asked, "Where are you going?"

"To town to buy a pack of cigarettes and some lottery tickets."

Peng Jiayou glared at him: "Don't lie to me, you want to go back and cheat, don't you? I'm warning you, if you want to live, you absolutely cannot go back at noon. Those two girls are waiting to serve you every night, aren't you satisfied?"

Liu Yuanhua fell silent, lowering his head to eat.

Just then, Xiao Hong arrived and greeted everyone she knew. There was no one she didn't know.

Chang Bo watched Xiao Hong approach and said, "Xiao Hong is better than Hong Yan in this respect; she's not arrogant and smiles at everyone. What does a whore have to be arrogant about?"

Peng Jiayou saw Xiao Hong getting closer and said to her, "Xiao Hong, are

you here to keep me company today?" "Dream on. Do you even have any money?"

"You little bitch, you're all just snobs."

"If I weren't a snob, who would do this kind of work?"

Xiao Hong retorted sharply.

Liu Yuanhua said irritably, "What's so great about her? I'm not..."

Peng Jiayou interrupted him, "Alright, let's eat. Xiao Hong, you must be going to the manager's office, right? The manager is waiting; he's powerful and influential. Go on."

Xiao Hong ignored the barbs in his words and walked over with a smile.

Chapter 63 Searching for the Missing (3)

Hongyan, Xiaocui, and Yang Decai hadn't been in the cellar for long when the cellar entrance reopened. Guan Pengcheng called out from above, "Kid, did you finish? I gave you this much time, come up now?"

Yang Decai replied, "Let me up."

The stairs were lowered, and Yang Decai went up. The stairs were then raised again, and the cellar entrance closed. There was a single incandescent light bulb in the cellar, with only about 15 lights, making it very dim. Fortunately, Hongyan and the others didn't need much light; just enough to see people was sufficient. The surroundings were completely silent, so silent that their ears were ringing, as if they were underwater.

The two sisters had nothing to say. What was there to say? Saying anything would be pointless. They already knew they were in a cellar, but they didn't know where it was. How many days would they be isolated here? Would they never be allowed out? What should they do?

Time stood still. They knew it was night, so they both drifted off to sleep.

When Hongyan woke up, Xiaocui also woke up. It was probably daytime. With a "whoosh," the cellar door opened, the stairs came down, and Yang Decai appeared carrying a plastic bag containing several layered pancakes and small packets of pickled vegetables.

Yang Decai put the plastic bag down and said, "This is your meal for today. We won't be back to cook until after work tonight."

With that, he climbed up. The stairs were then closed again. With a "bang," the cellar door closed. The sound of a large wardrobe being moved came from above.

Silence returned. Time seemed to stand still.

The two sisters remained silent. They lay drowsily on their beds, drifting in and out of sleep. After an unknown amount of time, the cellar door opened again with a "whoosh."

This time, all five of them came down. Yang Decai was carrying two more plastic bags, containing food and tea for them.

Hongyan knew the torture had begun again. Peng Jiayou came up first, pinning Hongyan down, stripping her clothes, and without any foreplay, went straight in. Guan Pengcheng pinned Xiaocui down. After the four men had taken their turn, Yang Decai was left alone. Peng Jiayou said, "Let's leave this kid alone from now on. After all, he's my apprentice. Come on, let's go upstairs."

Four people went up, and the ladder was retracted.

Yang Decai remained standing still, just like yesterday. He knew he couldn't do it, so what was the point of moving?

Hongyan stood up, hugged his neck, and said, "Lower your head."

Yang Decai didn't know what to do, so he lowered his head. Hongyan's lips met his, her tongue slipping into Decai's mouth, and she gently kissed him. Yang Decai had kissed his sister-in-law before, so he knew how to do it, and he kissed Hongyan affectionately. In a daze, he felt that he was holding his sister-in-law, about the same height and build, her full breasts pressed against his chest.

Kissing wasn't Hongyan's forte. Prostitutes generally didn't kiss customers; it was for safety reasons, as they had heard that AIDS could be transmitted through saliva. Prostitutes were only willing to kiss their lovers or people they knew. Hongyan had learned kissing from Dapeng. But she still sensed Yang Decai's reaction, which was a good start. Today, she would only kiss Yang Decai, nothing else, not even touching his private parts, to let him completely relax.

They kissed for a long time, and Yang Decai fully enjoyed the pleasure. Hongyan withdrew her tongue and said, "Go kiss Xiaocui and taste her."

Yang Decai hesitated, glancing at Xiaocui, afraid she would refuse. Xiaocui took the initiative to come over, hugged him, and kissed him. Sure enough, the kisses of the two women were different. Hongyan's tongue was nimble and ever-changing, always swirling in his mouth; Xiaocui's tongue was gentle, continuously sucking on his tongue.

He didn't know how much time had passed when someone spoke from the cellar entrance above: "Alright, kid, come up."

Yang Decai went up. The cellar returned to silence. Time stopped.

It must be night now. Hongyan thought, they always came down after work, so she could guess the time. But what could she do if it was like this every day? Hongyan

said to Xiaocui, "I'm so anxious. Xiaocui, why don't you just tell me about your experiences, so that time will pass faster."

Xiaocui said, "What should I say? My experiences are very simple. I grew up at home until I was 16, and then I became a prostitute until now."

"Do you remember who your first man was?"

"I remember."

"Then tell me."

“I only completed one year of junior high school before I had to stop. My family was poor. My father was disabled, and I helped my mother farm and did all sorts of work. That year, during the Spring Festival, a girl from the same village named Chuntao came back from working in Shanghai and persuaded me to go to Shanghai with her after the holiday. I thought it would be good to go out and work to earn some money, since my family was short of money, so I went with her. She told me that I could work in a factory in Shanghai and earn seven or eight hundred yuan a month. Who knew that when I got to Shanghai, I wouldn't be working in a factory at all, but would be doing what we do.”

Chapter 64 Searching for the Missing Person (4)

Xiao Cui continued, “Chuntao and several other girls shared a house, and later I found out that they were all doing this kind of work.” Chuntao lied to me, saying she'd introduce me to a job. She took me to dinner with a boss, and after dinner, she told me to leave with him. Foolishly, I went with him to a hotel. It wasn't until he closed the door and started undressing me that I realized what was going to happen. By then, it was too late. I wasn't prepared at all, and I lost my virginity. From then on, I was in this line of work. Afterwards, the boss gave me 500 yuan, saying it was because I was a virgin. Later, I found out that Chuntao had already taken 1000 yuan.

Hongyan sighed softly, saying, "You sold yourself for 1500 yuan the first time, while I didn't get a penny; it was all for nothing."

"Then tell me."

"I don't have much to say. The first time was with Dapeng. He said he'd teach me bedroom skills, and once I learned, I'd know how to make big money, so I gave it to him. But I first saw a man's penis a long time ago. Do you know how old I was then?"

"How old?"

"Six years old."

"So young? How did you see it? Do you still remember?"

“I remember it clearly. I used to often go to my neighbor Uncle San’s house to play. We weren’t relatives in the village, but we shared the same surname, so we called each other by seniority. Uncle San often teased me. Once, he took off his pants and showed me his thing, asking me, ‘Do you know what this is?’ I shook my head and said I didn’t. He said, ‘This is a snake’s head.’ Then he told me to touch it with my hand. He also took off my pants and touched my genitals with his hand. I didn’t understand then, so I was very confused as to why his genitals were different from mine. After that, he often did this to me, telling me to play with his thing with my hand and even to put it in my mouth. Once, he tried to insert his finger into my genitals, but I cried from the pain, so he didn’t force it in. Fortunately, he wasn’t too bad and didn’t deflower me. But because of this experience, I learned about matters between men and women very early.”

Once they started talking, they talked about everything. They talked about what kind of strange guests they had encountered, what kind of guests were good, what kind of guests were the worst, how to deal with them, and so on. Anyway, they had plenty of time, and their experiences were quite rich, so another day quickly passed.

“Whoosh!”

The cellar door opened again, and five people came in. Prostitutes are adaptable and generally easygoing. Hongyan and Xiaocui had accepted their situation and could only endure it for now. Hongyan noticed that Peng Jiayou and Sun Jiasheng were particularly fond of her, always having sex with her first before Xiaocui; Chang Bo and Guan Pengcheng, on the other hand, preferred Xiaocui and always had sex with her first. After a while, they stopped insisting on having sex with both of them, often only having sex with one person each time. In short, Hongyan and Xiaocui were tortured by them four times a day. Initially, it was one time per person from each of the four men, but later it often became two times per person from each of the two men. Actually, this intensity was lighter than their usual prostitution. Hongyan once went out 12 times in a single day, and after the last man left, she didn't even have the strength to get out of bed.

The four men left again, leaving Yang Decai behind. Now Yang Decai had gotten along well with them; he took the initiative to hug and kiss Hongyan, and Hongyan reciprocated. Now Hongyan went a step further, caressing Yang Decai's entire body through his clothes, and slowly removing his clothes to kiss his body. He kissed her from her eyes, nose, and mouth to her ears, neck, chest, abdomen, and pubic area, but not her genitals. Yang Decai began kissing Hongyan's entire body, making her feel ticklish and comfortable. When he kissed her genitals, she became very wet, but Hongyan held back. She knew it wasn't the right time.

They often chatted, talking about their childhood. After more than ten days, they were very familiar and trusting of each other, and had no more reservations. Hongyan began to rub Decai's penis gently with her hands. It gradually became erect, but not hard. He wanted to penetrate her, but Hongyan wouldn't let him. After a few times, Hongyan started licking it with her tongue while rubbing it with her hands, circling it with the tip of her tongue. She also sucked on it with her mouth. Gradually, it became erect properly each time, but Hongyan still wouldn't let him penetrate. This happened every day, and Yang Decai got used to being aroused by Hongyan but not being allowed to penetrate. One time, when Hongyan saw that he was fully erect, she took advantage of his inattention and quickly inserted it into her body, then hugged him and moved vigorously. Yang Decai was pleasantly surprised to find himself capable, his confidence soaring. He held Hongyan tightly, engaging in sexual activity for a full two hours.

The next day, Yang Decai was eager to try again, but Hongyan remained patient, engaging him in thorough foreplay before finally letting him in. Hongyan knew that success wouldn't be complete until this time. However, she noticed that this man took too long, always two hours. Prostitutes generally prefer shorter sessions to save time for their clients, so they always try to find ways to make men finish quickly. But no matter what she tried, she couldn't get Yang Decai to finish faster.

Hongyan had no choice but to accept reality, preparing to spend two hours with Yang Decai each time. This time, she actually reached orgasm. She often pretended to orgasm with her clients, shouting and screaming, though she herself wasn't sure if she had truly orgasmed. But this time, she couldn't control herself, shouting loudly, startling Yang Decai, who stopped. She held him tightly, refusing to let him stop. Even after her orgasm subsided, Yang Decai showed no sign of stopping.

Hongyan was exhausted and had no other choice, so she said to Xiaocui, "Can you relieve me for a while? I can't go on."

Xiaocui was already sleeping on another bunk facing inwards and ignored her.

Hongyan thought, "This guy can be a gigolo."

Chapter 65 Misfortunes Never Come Singly

Da Peng's dispatches of prostitutes yielded no results. Xiao Hong returned and said she had asked Da Qun; over a dozen workers from his construction site were renting rooms outside, the largest group being Peng Jiayou and four others, who had rented a farmer's house and yard together.

Da Peng thought that if two girls disappeared simultaneously and were kidnapped, the number of people involved would likely be considerable, probably around five. Renting a separate house and yard would also make it easier for them to hide. He told Zhi Gang, who agreed. Zhi Gang instructed Da Peng to have someone secretly monitor these five people and reported the situation to Zheng Liang.

Focusing his attention, Da Peng discovered more suspicious points. Peng Jiayou was known for his womanizing, calling him about every ten days for prostitutes, but he hadn't called anyone for prostitutes even once in the past month. This was highly unusual.

Zhi Gang also felt these suspicious points were crucial; it seemed highly likely that Peng Jiayou and his group were responsible. He thought that if that were the case, they would only rob them of their bodies, not their money, and certainly not their lives; at least Hongyan and Xiao Cui were no longer in mortal danger.

Zhigang was focused on finding the two girls as quickly as possible, but he hadn't expected a fire to break out in his backyard—a tragedy had occurred at the neighboring village workers' home.

Before he even reached his office that morning, he received a call from Lanhua saying there was a dead body in room number 64. "

What? Did you

call the police?" "Yes, they'll be there soon."

"Are you at the scene?"

"Yes." "I'm coming right away."

Zhigang rushed to room 64. The door was closed, and Lanhua and a group of people were outside. Seeing Zhigang, Lanhua explained the situation: "This morning, the cleaning lady, Xiao Sun, passed by here while cleaning and smelled a foul odor. She remembered smelling the same thing yesterday, so she wondered why it was still there today. Worried that some corner hadn't been cleaned properly, she searched everywhere but couldn't find the source of the smell. Then she realized the odor seemed to be coming from this door, so she called me to come and open it. When I opened the door, I saw a woman dead on the bed, completely decomposed, and stinking horribly. I immediately called the police."

Zhigang also smelled the odor. He asked, "Do you know who this woman is?" "

Lanhua said, 'I had the management department check. She was living with Xu Yunlong, a migrant worker from Dazhi Construction Team. They were a temporary couple. Her name is Li Yinhua, from Jiangsu, and she works at a toy factory.'

'Where's Xu Yunlong?'

'He's missing. I called Daqun, and he said Li Yunlong hasn't come to work without notice, probably for more than twenty days.'

'That guy is definitely the murderer.'

At this moment, Zheng Liang arrived with several policemen, set up a cordon, and told the onlookers to disperse.

After inspecting the scene, Zheng Liang came out of the house and said to Zhigang, 'This case is simple; the suspect is Xu Yunlong.'

'Thank you for your help.'

'It's nothing, it's part of my job. But these construction workers really don't give me any peace of mind. All the cases I've handled this month are related to migrant workers.'

Zhigang said, 'Migrant workers have low moral standards, face discrimination in this environment, and have a lot of life pressure. It's normal for some individuals to take extreme measures under these combined factors.'

Zheng Liang said, 'Another important reason is the inadequate management of migrant workers.'" “

Oh?”

“If managed properly, even when migrant workers encounter situations where they feel they have no other choice but to take extreme measures, someone or an organization will pull them back.”

Zhigang agreed with his point of view: “Yes. If they were in their hometowns, they would have village cadres to lead them, and rural traditional culture to influence them. But in Shanghai, the bosses only pay their wages and don't care about anything else, nor can they manage them.”

Zheng Liang, who had long dealt with migrant workers at a grassroots police station in the suburbs, seemed to have his own unique insights into the migrant worker issue: “Migrant workers lack organizational constraints, carry a scattered peasant mentality, and have no one to guide them. They are basically in a primitive state of self-destruction. For example, their survival, their children's education, and even their sex lives, although far from being resolved, are fortunately being addressed by insightful people like you, and there is still a future to be seen. But who cares about their ideology and mental health? No one cares. So it is normal that the crime rate among them is relatively high. However, not many of the incidents among them are criminal cases; the vast majority are civil disputes.” "

Zhigang said, 'Actually, Chinese farmers are really quite good. If you put such a large group in any other country, it would be very difficult for anyone to manage them.'" February 12th,

Chapter 66: Solving

the Case. The case was quickly solved. Police arrested Xu Yunlong in Yunnan. After a brief interrogation, Xu Yunlong confessed to everything.

Xu Yunlong, 41 years old, met Li Yinhua, 29, in a card room. After becoming card-playing friends, they often visited each other. During casual conversations, Li Yinhua told Xu Yunlong that her husband was in the medicinal herb business, traveling all over the country and rarely home. Xu Yunlong thought that since his wife was in his hometown, he proposed that they become a temporary couple, and Li Yinhua readily agreed. They had been renting a room in a neighboring village for two or three years, and their life was relatively harmonious. Occasionally, when Li Yinhua's husband returned from out of town, she would go home to stay, without anyone noticing.

Li Yinhua's husband, Zhou Changhuai, was actually in the business of counterfeit medicine. In recent years, the government had cracked down on this, and his business had become difficult. During a major crackdown, Zhou Changhuai managed to escape and returned to Shanghai. He hid in their rented home. He was penniless, and Li Yinhua's monthly salary of a little over 1,000 yuan couldn't support both of them. Every day when they returned home, they would argue. Zhou Changhuai somehow found out that his wife had been having an affair while he was away in Shanghai, so he secretly followed her.

The man had been back for several months, but Li Yinhua hadn't gone to the neighboring village's house or Xu Yunlong's place. Xu Yunlong, unable to bear life without a woman, secretly contacted Li Yinhua, wanting to meet her, and Li Yinhua agreed. Zhou Changhuai followed them to the neighboring village's house without alerting them. That night, Li Yinhua returned home and was brutally beaten by Zhou Changhuai, forced to confess to her affair with Xu Yunlong. After the beating, Zhou Changhuai comforted her for a while, then revealed his pre-planned scheme, asking Li Yinhua to cooperate.

Zhou Changhuai's plan was simple: Li Yinhua would tell Xu Yunlong that her husband knew about their affair and make a condition… Xu Yunlong was told he had to pay Zhou Changhuai 1500 yuan per month so they could continue their relationship. Otherwise, Zhou Changhuai threatened to have Xu Yunlong's legs broken.

Xu Yunlong reluctantly agreed. But where would he get that much money? He wouldn't receive most of his salary until the end of the year. He managed to borrow money from Zhou Changhuai the first month, but couldn't borrow any more the second month. Li Yinhua, ultimately siding with her man, pressured Xu Yunlong for money daily, refusing to sleep with him and threatening him. Driven to the brink of madness, Xu Yunlong impulsively grabbed a kitchen knife and killed Li Yinhua. Only after dropping the knife did he realize his fear and fled.

When the police went to find Zhou Changhuai, they discovered he had also run away. It was estimated he had been to the scene, seen Li Yinhua dead, and, remembering he was a fugitive, feared the police would arrest him along with the case, so he fled.

Zhigang, after hearing Zheng Liang's account of the case, felt sorry for Xu Yunlong. He ... Why didn't he report it? He was originally a victim, but due to a momentary lapse in judgment, he became the perpetrator. He thought that Zheng Liang's point about migrant workers needing better management and guidance mechanisms made sense.

There was also a breakthrough in the case of Hongyan and Xiaocui's disappearance. Dapeng told Zhigang that Yang Decai had told Xiaohong through the group chat that Hongyan was with them.

With Zheng Liang's permission, Zhigang went with the police to rescue Hongyan and Xiaocui. While Peng Dayou and the others were still at work, they broke into their apartment. Based on the information Yang Decai had relayed through Xiaohong, they moved the wardrobe, opened the cellar door, and sure enough, the two girls were inside.

When the police helped Hongyan and Xiaocui out, Zhigang noticed they had lost a lot of weight, their faces were deathly pale, and they had no color in their skin. Having not walked for three months, they could barely walk. When Xiaocui saw Zhigang, she hugged him and cried. Zhigang patted her back and comforted her, "It's alright now, little sister. It's good that you're safe. I'll take care of you from now on."

After rescuing them, Zheng Liang called the police who were already monitoring the construction site and ordered them to immediately arrest Peng Jiayou and the other four.

Chapter 67 Hongyan and Xiaocui

Hongyan and Xiaocui were taken to the hospital for a full checkup. The results showed no major health problems, just some malnutrition. Fortunately, it was only three months; if it had been longer, it wouldn't have been just a slight malnutrition issue.

However, the checkup revealed another unexpected thing: they were pregnant.

Originally, Hongyan and Xiaocui carried condoms in their bags, an essential item for prostitutes, not only to prevent pregnancy but, more importantly, to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, especially AIDS. However, Peng Jiayou and his gang didn't give them a chance to use condoms. Most migrant workers dislike using condoms, feeling that paying for them and being blocked by a layer is both unpleasant and as if they hadn't done anything. As for sexually transmitted diseases, they didn't care; they were farmers, healthy, with strong resistance, and their lives weren't worth much—even becoming a sex worker was worthwhile.

Hongyan and Xiaocui had never considered becoming mothers, let alone getting pregnant like this. They both chose abortion without prior arrangement. They had both had abortions before. The doctor repeatedly warned them never to have another, as it would likely leave them infertile.

Lanhua took Hongyan and Xiaocui to a neighboring villager's migrant worker home for postpartum care. She said that postpartum care was even more important than full-term care, as improper care could lead to lifelong health problems.

Zhigang visited them whenever he had time, hoping they would quit prostitution, as their bodies could no longer tolerate it. Besides, the chances of getting pregnant again while working as prostitutes were too high. Surprisingly, both disagreed.

Zhigang mainly wanted to persuade Xiaocui; Hongyan was managed by her sister's family, so it wasn't Zhigang's turn. He asked Xiaocui, "You just want to earn more money to treat your father's illness, right? But you can't neglect your health. If your health deteriorates, how will you earn money? Then you'll have to spend money on your own treatment."

Xiaocui remained silent. Zhigang grew anxious and raised his voice, saying, "Are you addicted to being a prostitute? Are you having a lot of fun? This line of work is all about youth. How many more years can you do it? Your health is already failing. If you continue for a few more years, you'll have lifelong health problems. What will you do then?"

Xiaocui burst into tears. Her crying startled Zhigang: "Hey, why are you crying?"

Back in his office, Zhigang said to Lanhua, "You said those two girls, we told them to stop being prostitutes, but they just won't budge."

Lanhua asked, "If they don't want to be prostitutes, what are you going to tell them to do?"

"What can't they do? This is such a big migrant worker family, you can just give them any job."

"Easy for you to say. You don't know them. Even if you gave them your job, they might not want to. Anyone who voluntarily becomes a prostitute is lazy and doesn't want to work. They don't want to work hard, but they

want to make a lot of money. What job do you think suits them?" "They don't want to work hard, but they want to make a lot of money? Then being a prostitute is the only suitable job."

"Yes." "

I know Hongyan wanted to be a prostitute herself. But Xiaocui didn't want to; she was tricked."

"You really believe her? You were the one who was tricked, weren't you?"

"No. Really. I believe what she said."

Seeing Zhigang's serious expression, Lanhua chuckled inwardly, but still said earnestly, "There's a way to arrange things for Xiaocui; she'll definitely agree."

"What way?"

"You married her."

As soon as the words left her mouth, Lan Hua chuckled.

Zhi Gang knew he'd been tricked by Lan Hua and said anxiously, "I treated Xiao Cui like a younger sister, really. You don't know, the first time I saw her at the hair salon, she looked so familiar, like I'd seen her somewhere before. And I felt a strong connection, like family."

"What family? You still went to see her."

"No. I paid her, and left without even touching her."

"Really?"

Lan Hua glanced at Zhi Gang. "You never touched her again after that?"

"Well… I did touch her once, but she forced me to."

"That one time was also when you treated her like a prostitute."

Zhi Gang fell silent. He knew Lan Hua was jealous.

The clever orchid only expressed her jealousy appropriately before letting it go. Not wanting to embarrass Zhigang, she changed the subject: "This matter is not urgent. Let them recover first. I will talk to them when I have the chance."

Chapter 068 "Establishing the Party Branch at the Company Level" (1)

Including Xu Yunlong, Dazhi's construction team lost 6 people at once, which had a significant impact. Dazhi didn't care about these few people. What puzzled him was what had happened to these migrant workers? How would he manage them in the future? He knew that all construction teams were managed in this way, but he couldn't continue to let them run wild like this. Was there a better way to manage the migrant workers?

Zhigang said to Dazhi: "Brother Dazhi, I'll invite Wang Qianghui and Shi Yuqin over. Let's discuss this issue. What do you think?"

Dazhi said: "Great. I'm feeling that the road ahead is difficult. They have a lot of ideas and will definitely have good suggestions."

Zhigang invited Wang Qianghui and Shi Yuqin to the migrant workers' home in the neighboring village and sat them in the small meeting room.

After listening to Dazhi's introduction, Wang Qianghui asked, "Tell me, besides construction sites, where else are there the most men?"

"The military."

Dazhi, a veteran, immediately thought of the army.

"Right. But in the Chinese army, do you see all those messy things like those in your construction team? Things like prostitution, etc."

"No." "

Why not?"

"The military has strict discipline."

"Anything else?"

Dazhi couldn't answer.

Wang Qianghui said, "Let me ask you another question. What is the most famous brand in China?"

Dazhi still couldn't answer.

"China's number one brand is the People's Liberation Army."

Everyone was surprised.

"We can compare the PLA to a company. For example, the 'company's' mission is 'serving the people,' and its code of conduct is 'the Three Main Rules of Discipline and the Eight Points for Attention,' right? Which company has managed to make its mission and code of conduct known to every household? Even sung about it in songs?"

Zhigang, Shi Yuqin, and Dazhi all nodded; it certainly made sense.

"This is the PLA's 'corporate culture.' Millions of soldiers, decades of history, and an undefeated record. The world thinks that the military is simply for fighting, but the PLA is not. As *** said, the military is a fighting force, a propaganda force, and a work force. In recent years, the Chinese military's participation in UN peacekeeping operations has continued to demonstrate its approachable nature and its propaganda and work-oriented approach. For example, the wife of the speaker of parliament of an African country visited the Chinese peacekeeping force's camp to learn how to cook Chinese food and make dumplings. No other country's military can do this.

"This is a big topic, but I won't go into it today. I'll just talk about one aspect of the PLA's traditional culture: ideological work. It originated from the idea proposed and implemented by *** during the Jinggangshan period: establishing Party branches at the company level."

"It was the foundation for the PLA's subsequent powerful combat capabilities. If the role of Party members is fully utilized, the army's combat effectiveness will be extremely strong. The same applies to enterprises; if the role of Party members is brought into play, the employees' ideological awareness and work enthusiasm will also improve."

Dazhi said, "I'm a Party member; I joined the Party in the army. How come I didn't see it?"

"That's because you didn't play your role as a Party member well. It's easier to understand now that you're a Party member. Do you know what kind of saying there is about the role of the Party organization within the Party?"

Dazhi hesitated and said, "Is it the role of a fighting fortress?"

"Yes. Let me ask you, how many Party members are there in your company?"

"I haven't kept count, but there are at least several dozen."

"Is there a Party branch?"

"No."

"That's the problem. Without a Party branch, the role of Party members cannot be fully utilized."

Dazhi still felt confused: "Who still trusts Party members these days?"

"You're wrong. Actually, many outstanding individuals are within the Party. You can't see it in ordinary times, but it shows in critical moments."

Yuqin said, "I believe that. I'm not a Party member and I'm not interested in Party affairs. However, my personal experience in a foreign company has truly revealed the special role of Party members." "

Really? Tell me about it."

"Initially, foreign companies didn't welcome Party members. China has been reforming and opening up for decades, and we've long since stopped arguing about ideology with Westerners; development is the only hard truth. Some so-called 'elites' have even abandoned their own ideologies and surrendered to Western ideologies. But Westerners still insist on 'class struggle in the ideological sphere,' still viewing the Communist Party with prejudice, considering it a 'monster of communism,' and avoiding it. When I worked in HR, the foreign CEO only had one requirement when reviewing my resume: don't invite Party members for interviews. But some Party members didn't fill in their political affiliation and still got in. They didn't hide their Party membership after joining. Later, I found that Party members were always very serious about their work, clearly different from ordinary employees. Gradually, they stopped rejecting Communist Party members. These multinational companies are pragmatic." Who would want to give up a good employee? Their ideology is also the result of their education in China. Before coming to China, they had never even seen a Communist Party member. Now, Party members are welcome. If they see that someone is a Party member on their resume, they will be given an interview opportunity first, and that will already give them a good impression. Because most Party members are excellent employees who can endure hardship, work hard, and solve problems, and they also serve as role models and motivators for other employees.

Da Zhi said, "So, organizing Party members and arranging them in key positions can play a big role?"

Wang Qianghui said, "Yes. Establishing a Party branch in a company is equivalent to 'establishing the branch at the company level'."

Chapter 069 "Establishing the Branch at the Company Level" (2)

Wang Qianghui asked Zhigang and Lan Hua, "You are not Party members, are you?"

Zhigang and Lan Hua shook their heads. Qianghui said, "You two should both strive to join the Party and establish a Party branch in the company in the neighboring village. This will greatly benefit enterprise management. Not only should we establish a Party branch, but also a trade union, a women's federation, and a youth league branch."

Qianghui turned to Yuqin and said, "You should forget about it. I know you've received a deep Western education and aren't interested in joining the Party. But you have a correct understanding of Party members, which is already very good."

Zhigang said, "Brother Wang, it seems you've studied Party history and Mao Zedong Thought quite deeply."

"This is a valuable asset. Let me tell you, I've read 'Selected Works of Mao Zedong' many times, and I gain new insights every time I read it. We're all learning from the West, getting MBAs and EMBAs, but we've forgotten to learn from our own treasures. Learning from the West is necessary; isn't the theory of the Communist Party also a foreign import? However, these are all universal principles, commonalities. Everyone has learned them, but still hasn't gained personal understanding. They're still unclear on how to apply them in specific work. In fact, any theory needs to be creatively applied, not copied blindly. We have a ready-made, most successful case to learn from: the practice of the Communist Party of China."

"We are all familiar with the phrase 'combining the universal principles of Marxism with the specific practice of the Chinese revolution,' yet we all dismiss it as mere propaganda from the Communist Party. In fact, it is the truth, a great creation of the Communist Party. From its inception, the Communist Party of China has continuously innovated and reformed; otherwise, it wouldn't be where it is today. Many people also dismiss our talk of taking the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, thinking it's a proclamation of taking the capitalist road, or an excuse for rigid thinking and a lack of reform. These are superficial views. In reality, it is consistent with 'combining the universal principles of Marxism with the specific practice of the Chinese revolution.'"

Zhigang said, "Brother Wang, you taught me a lesson today. Your perspective is so fresh; it has shown me how to learn and where to learn from."

"That's right, you have great insight,"

Qianghui patted Zhigang on the shoulder and said, "Confucius said, 'Among three people walking together, there must be one who can teach me.' This isn't modesty or arrogance; it's a genuine belief, and it's truly useful. You can learn from anyone. While the world takes Confucius as its teacher, Confucius took those around him as his teachers. Moreover, the thought of the Communist Party of China is truly the essence of the collective wisdom of the Communist Party of China." "Read Chairman Mao's works carefully and attentively, and you'll definitely gain something."

Dazhi said, "Hearing you say that, it's like going back decades."

"Yes. It was common to say that decades ago, but nobody says it now. But saying it now is on a different level than it was decades ago. The situation has changed, and the effect is different too. This is what Marxist philosophy calls spiral sublimation."

Zhigang gave a thumbs up and said, "You can find wealth in what others give up; you can read what others can't read when reading the same books. Awesome."

"That's why innovation is everywhere. Truth is often in the hands of a few, even a few individuals. Successful people are always lonely; successful people must have seen a vision that others cannot see."

Zhigang said, "But failures are often stubborn."

"Yes. Successful and unsuccessful people have certain commonalities; stubbornness is their common characteristic. But there's no way around it; to succeed, you often have to be closest to failure. You can avoid stubbornness, and you won't fail, but at the same time, you won't succeed either." "

Dazhi doesn't like reading and isn't interested in these kinds of things. He said, 'Let's get to the specifics. I want to establish a Party branch

. Who should I ask for approval?' Qianghui said, 'You can apply to your hometown Party committee to establish a mobile Party branch for migrant workers stationed abroad. You can also apply at the company's registered address or business location. My company's Party branch was established at the registered address.'

Lanhua, like Dazhi, was already tired of listening and said, 'Let's go eat and talk while we eat. You're just spouting profound things that are hard to understand.'

Dazhi said, 'It's my treat today. Nobody should argue.'

Yuqin said, 'You're getting a great deal on this meal, waiving the planning and consulting fees.'

'Yes, yes. Once the Party branch really works, I'll definitely pay you the consulting fees.'

'Pay now. Empty promises never get cashed.'

'Okay. Drink more tonight.'"

Chapter 70 How to Arrange for Hongyan and Xiaocui Hongyan

and Xiaocui were young and recovered quickly, but Lan Hua wouldn't let them go out, saying they weren't fully recovered yet. Hongyan would lie in bed watching TV when she had nothing to do, while Xiaocui followed Lan Hua around, helping her with chores.

Seeing Xiaocui's diligence, Lan Hua said, "Xiaocui, why don't you work with Third Sister-in-law?"

Xiaocui said, "I don't know anything, what can I do with you?"

"If you don't know, then learn. You're so young, what can't you learn? When I first started, I knew even less than you, and I was much older than you."

"As long as you don't think I'm stupid, I'll learn from you."

"You won't learn much from me. You should learn from Zhigang. Although this kid is only a high school student, he's eager to learn and has a good mind. You can learn a lot from him."

"But is he willing to take me on?"

"Third Sister-in-law told him he wouldn't dare abandon you." "

By this time, Zhigang had already figured out how to arrange things for the two girls. When Lanhua came to him, he was just about to discuss it with her.

'Lanhua, I'm asking you, can you let go of the migrant workers' family next door now?'"

"No problem. Everything's on track, and everyone knows what they're supposed to do. What do you want me to do?"

"Qianghui, Yuqin, and I are currently discussing branding, making the neighboring village's brand well-known, and then steadily expanding upstream and downstream, such as catering and the liquor industry. Haven't you cooked before? How about you take the lead in starting a catering company? Bring these two troublesome girls along too."

"I've only ever cooked for migrant workers, how can I start a catering company?"

"I'm making you a manager, not a head chef. Actually, I started thinking about this after the student poisoning incident. I realized that there isn't a well-known boxed lunch brand in Shanghai, and there isn't a company that specializes in boxed lunches. This is the opportunity. I think our catering company won't open restaurants, we won't even need storefronts, we'll just make boxed lunches and deliver them to schools, factories, and office buildings. Focus is key to success, and it's easier to build a brand." "Just delivering boxed lunches? Can this business be scaled up?"

"Don't underestimate it. How many schools, factories, and office buildings are there in Shanghai?" I've done some research, and a significant portion of people order takeout for lunch, usually from nearby small restaurants. If we create a "Neighbor Village" brand fast food, focusing on hygiene, environmental friendliness, and taste, we'll quickly become the king of boxed lunches in Shanghai. Then, many people who don't usually order boxed lunches and eat out will start ordering them by phone.”

“Shanghai is so big, can you deliver to all of them? What if someone in Pudong wants a boxed lunch while you're in the western suburbs?”

“That's the concept of a franchise. We'll set up delivery points in designated areas, specifying the area and number of office buildings for each point, ensuring that each point delivers hot boxed lunches to customers even in winter. We'll design a model, create several templates, and then easily replicate it, expanding through franchising. Your job will mainly be supervision, management, and providing semi-finished products. When conditions are right, our boxed lunches can even enter supermarkets.”

“That makes some sense. So, where should we start our business?”

“We have a natural advantage. How many boxed lunches does Guiling's school need every day? Winning over her business will already be profitable.” "We'll set up one distribution point near each school, covering the office buildings around the schools. Qianghui's creative park and the trendy clothing and gift market will also order our boxed lunches. Our most important task is to make delicious boxed lunches and to standardize mass production."

"Okay. I'll do it. I was just thinking of entrusting Xiaocui to you, letting you take care of her."

"Entrust her to me for what? As my secretary?"

"What's wrong with that? Just because she's from a wealthy family doesn't mean she can't be your secretary? Providing her with personal service day and night, wouldn't that be too good for you?"

"Lanhua, I told you, I see her as a younger sister, I have no feelings for her."

"You have no feelings? I'll make sure you do. If you do have feelings, I won't let you succeed."

"What's wrong, are you jealous again?" "

So what if I'm jealous? If I weren't jealous, I wouldn't like you." Zhigang thought to himself, "

It's been three years since I've been intimate with my third sister-in-law. This is a good thing for her, proving she's happy."

Chapter 71 Neighboring Village Boxed Meals

Wang Qianghui invited the planning team from his alma mater, the School of Communication at East China Normal University, to do a comprehensive design for the neighboring village's brand and began to gradually promote it.

The existing migrant workers' homes and children's schools were also redesigned and will be gradually renovated and implemented according to the new plan; for newly developed areas, boxed meals were carefully chosen as the first project because they are relatively easy to manage.

When Xiaocui said she wanted to sell boxed meals, Hongyan was very reluctant. But although her health was not seriously affected, she couldn't go back to being a prostitute right away. She thought she would have to sell boxed meals for a few days first.

After working as a prostitute for several years, as soon as her health improved, Hongyan wanted to go back to that kind of life. Dapeng came to see Hongyan in a few days and even tried to touch her inappropriately. Hongyan refused him without hesitation. He was Hongyan's first man, yet she couldn't say whether she liked him or not. Besides, Dapeng's favorite wasn't her, but Xiaohong. Hongyan had thought about that kind of life, not necessarily because she wanted a man, but because she felt perfectly at home in that environment. Her feelings about lust were similar to her feelings about chastity as a virgin—indifferent, with little difference. When entertaining guests, she merely catered to them, never truly enjoying sex. Even with Dapeng, it was the same. The only person who truly brought her pleasure in her memory was Yang Decai in the cellar.

Yang Decai had also visited her. Because of his meritorious service, Yang Decai was quickly released. His gaze towards Hongyan was complex, containing both gratitude and lust. This young man didn't talk much, but it was clear he was eagerly awaiting Hongyan's recovery so they could resume their intimate moments. Hongyan often felt... She savored the happiness Yang Decai had given her in the cellar. He was the only man she had ever known who she was happy to remember.

Her third sister-in-law, Lan Hua, always interrupted Hongyan's reminiscences, busying her and Xiao Cui with setting up the catering company. Hongyan gradually understood; it wasn't about her selling boxed lunches herself. Lan Hua often had her go to the office building entrance in the mornings to hand out "weekly menus" to the white-collar workers just starting their day. This was Zhigang's idea. The menu was printed on a single sheet, listing dishes from Monday to Friday, with no repetition each day. Anyone could easily find what they wanted. The back of the menu contained brand promotional information, including the craftsmanship, taste, and origin of the ingredients from neighboring villages. The menu changed weekly, never repeating within a month. The biggest advantage of this was that the daily menu was predetermined, making procurement and preparation easier to control. Good quality and quantity, avoiding waste while ensuring freshness, and suitable for factory-scale mass production.

Orders from migrant workers' children's schools and Wang Qianghui's business have already guaranteed the catering company's profits. Lan Hua's biggest concern was whether it could be produced in an office building. The result was that after a month, the first pilot store's neighboring village boxed meals became an instant hit, accounting for one-third of the entire area's takeout orders. The second month, it exceeded half.

Having experienced the entire process from preparation to operation, Hong Yan and Xiao Cui's interest grew, especially Hong Yan, who no longer wanted to live her previous life. A key reason for this was that Lan Hua told them they would each receive 5% of the shares, allowing them to participate in profit sharing at the end of the year.

After distributing the menus in the morning, Hong Yan and Xiao Cui returned to wait for the phone to ring around 10 PM. Hong Yan didn't expect to receive a call from Yang Decai; she recognized his voice.

"Are you Hong Yan?"

"Are you Decai?"

"I want a twice-cooked pork boxed meal; please deliver it personally."

"I don't deliver boxed meals; someone else delivers them."

"I only want you to deliver it." "I'm at Room 601, No. 58, Lane 100, Lianming Road."

Hongyan had no choice but to call out to Lanhua and bring her a twice-cooked pork lunchbox. When she arrived at Lane 100, Lianming Road, she found it was a residential area and wondered when Yang Decai had rented a place here.

Yang Decai opened the door, and Hongyan noticed that the young man had grown up. He was still as tall as ever, but he looked like an adult. He was only 17 years old, nine years younger than Hongyan. His once childish face, with its many pimples, now looked much more mature.

Yang Decai closed the door, took the lunchbox, put it on the table, and pulled Hongyan to kiss him. Hongyan had taught him how to kiss, and the two had practiced countless times, so it was naturally second nature. Hongyan wasn't tall, and in Decai's arms, she looked like a child. She tilted her head back to touch him. De Cai's lips felt different this time.

Hong Yan suddenly realized she hadn't been intimate with a man for several months. This was unimaginable in the past, but in the last few months, especially the last two or three, she had practically forgotten about sex.

Yang De Cai was reminding her of her past with a man, but it felt different. A tenderness welled up inside her, making her feel an inseparable intimacy with the young man she was kissing, and she feared that this intimacy would disappear. In the young man's broad, warm embrace, she felt safe and trusting. She couldn't help but suck on De Cai's tongue deeply, as if she wanted to swallow it whole.

For the first time, Hongyan felt an urge beforehand. She wanted Decai to enter her. When Decai entered her as she had hoped, she felt pleasure spread throughout her body. She had always thought sex was just about that small area of the lower body; every time she made love with a man, whether it was painful or pleasurable, it was just that small area, and it came and went quickly. Today, she realized that sex is a complete immersion and exchange, a mutual giving and taking. This pleasure wasn't just holistic; it permeated her very bones, and it was unforgettable.

This woman, who had made love countless times with countless men, finally understood what sex was all about.

Chapter 72 KTV

Stroking De Cai's chest, which looked like it was just starting to develop pectoral muscles, Hong Yan asked, "De Cai, do you have a job now?"

"Yes. I work at a KTV in Dapeng as a waiter."

"The KTV's open? How come I didn't know?"

"You're recuperating now, not in the industry anymore, of course you wouldn't know."

"It's good that you have a job. You're still young, you still need to learn things. Otherwise, you'll be lost when you get older."

De Cai glanced at Hong Yan, wondering why she would say such a thing. This wasn't something someone of her status should say; it sounded old-fashioned, like a parent. Hong Yan was also puzzled. When did she start having such thoughts?

These past few months following her third sister-in-law, Hong Yan had truly learned a lot, broadened her horizons, and gained more experience. She realized that this way of life could be wonderful, even more wonderful. She had met many people before, but most were migrant workers, with even less experience than her. Sometimes when Dapeng took her out to eat, they would run into some cultured government officials and bosses, but they only saw her as a prostitute, making crude jokes and not saying anything of value. When

Hongyan returned to the company, Lanhua scolded her: "So busy at noon, where were you going to find men again?"

Hongyan stuck out her tongue and made a face, then quickly ran away to avoid her sister-in-law's endless scolding.

In the afternoon, Zhigang came, and Hongyan told him that Dazhi's KTV had opened. Zhigang said, "I know. I even went on opening day."

"How about you take us to sing karaoke today?"

Hongyan had never been so affectionate with Zhigang before, mainly because they weren't familiar with each other. After the kidnapping incident, they had more contact, and she became more casual.

Zhigang had the same idea: "Sure. You've worked hard building the catering company in the neighboring village, so today I'll treat you to karaoke at Dazhi's KTV as a way of showing my appreciation."

That evening, Zhigang took them to the KTV, and Dapeng arranged a large room that could seat more than ten people. Dazhi and Daqun also arrived, along with three other people whom Zhigang recognized—cadres from the town government and tax department.

Dazhi called over a row of beautiful women, letting each of the three guests choose one. Zhigang rarely went to karaoke, but he was surprised to find that Lan Hua sang exceptionally well. Her slightly husky voice was sweet, melodious, and deeply moving, reminiscent of Teresa Teng. She sang mostly Teresa Teng's songs. These people were all regulars at karaoke, each a karaoke enthusiast. Zhigang tried to request a song, but it was always snatched up by others. When it was finally his turn, someone else would sing it first, forcing him to give up.

Lan Hua, also a karaoke enthusiast, sang songs with the guests, sometimes even performing duets. Hongyan and Xiaocui, who weren't good singers, danced with the guests. They were almost inseparable, constantly changing partners. Several of the women also danced with the guests.

Zhigang had already danced with the two women several times, and with the other women a few times as well, but Hongyan still kept trying to get him to dance. This time, Hongyan danced a close dance with Zhigang, who held her tightly around the waist, chest to chest, face to face. Hongyan secretly touched Zhigang's lower body; it was already hard. She smiled at him. They walked away from the group of dancers and reached the restroom entrance. Taking advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention, Hongyan pulled Zhigang into the restroom.

Zhigang asked, "What are you doing?"

Hongyan smiled without answering, cupped Zhigang's face, and kissed him. Zhigang had never had any romantic feelings for Hongyan, so of course he wouldn't refuse her kiss. They kissed passionately for a while, and then Hongyan's hand touched Zhigang's genitals again. Zhigang couldn't resist the temptation and followed her thigh upwards, only to find he wasn't wearing underwear and his hand was covered in fluid. Hongyan didn't give him time to think and let him in.

Zhigang said, "What if someone comes in?"

"Just don't open the door. What's there to be afraid of?"

Just then, someone knocked on the door. Hongyan called out, "Someone's here."

The knocking stopped. Zhigang, while straining, said, "You're not going to ask me for money, are you?"

"Hmph! You're a big boss now, I won't do it for less than the price."

"How much do you want?"

"One yuan. Hehe."

This made Zhigang even more excited. He was worried that people outside would find out what they were doing inside, and he was even more worried that his third sister-in-law would be jealous, but the more he worried, the less he could finish, and he struggled for quite a while.

When they came out, no one noticed, everyone was busy singing and dancing.

Chapter 073 Hongyan Turns Back

Actually, Xiaocui discovered that Zhigang and Hongyan had gone into the bathroom, and knew what they had done inside. She felt sad and almost cried, but she forced herself to continue dancing with Zhigang. She liked Zhigang so much, and was willing to give everything to him without asking for anything in return. But Zhigang had only slept with her once under her insistence.

They sang until 12 o'clock before someone suggested ending the night, but they still wanted to go for a late-night snack. Lanhua refused, saying that she had to get up very early the next day. Dazhi suggested taking Hongyan and Xiaocui out for a late-night snack, but Lanhua objected, saying they were key employees of the catering company and needed them every morning.

Lanhua drove Hongyan and Xiaocui back, warning them, "Don't go to karaoke anymore unless Zhigang and I take you."

Hongyan asked, "Why?"

"You can't resist the temptations of these men. Like tonight, if you go with them, you'll end up in bed with them."

"So what? Don't women want men to want them?"

"Women should give themselves to good men. These men aren't good men."

"You're being too harsh! Zhigang isn't a good man either?"

"I don't think so."

Hongyan and Xiaocui secretly laughed in the back seat. They knew about Zhigang's relationship with Third Sister-in-law.

The catering company only sold lunchboxes at noon each day; the afternoons were quiet. The next afternoon, Hongyan went to the karaoke to find Yang Decai. The young man was wearing a well-fitting uniform, tall and strong, and looked quite energetic.

Hongyan asked Decai, "Do you need any part-time girls here?"

"Our girls are all part-time; they have madams to look after them."

"Really? Can I come every afternoon and evening?"

"That's fine, but you'd better practice your singing."

"If I improve my singing, will you introduce me to someone? "

"No need for introductions, just contact Brother Dapeng."

"Right. How could I forget about him?"

Hongyan went back and practiced singing every day. She shared a room with Xiaocui, and Xiaocui got annoyed by her singing, so she covered her head with a pillow and slept. She also sang at work, which made Lanhua always say, "It's so noisy! You have a rooster's voice; you'll never sing well."

Lanhua asked Xiaocui, "What's wrong with this girl lately? She didn't like singing before."

Xiaocui said, "She said she wanted to improve her singing so she could work part-time at a karaoke bar."

"What? That won't do. Tell her that restaurants in the neighboring village don't allow employees to work part-time outside of work hours."

After a few days, Lanhua saw that Hongyan was still singing every day, and she did seem to have made some progress. She asked Xiaocui, "Did you talk to her?"

"I told her, but she said it's none of my business."

Lan Hua personally approached Hong Yan and said seriously, "Hong Yan, I see you've changed a lot lately, and you've improved in your work. Don't let all your previous efforts go to waste."

"Third Sister-in-law, I like singing, and it doesn't affect my work. Besides, I can sell my art, not my body. Why are you against it?"

"Sell your art, not your body? I'm the first to believe that. Besides, with your skills, what art can you sell?"

"Anyway, I like it."

"Girl, I'm really doing this for your own good. That environment won't do you any good. With your personality, once you go in, you won't be able to get out, and the outcome won't be good."

"I know what the outcome will be. But Zhi Gang said that the happiest thing for a person is doing what they want to do, right?"

"Zhi Gang was talking about ideals, and your ideal is to be a prostitute?"

"So what if I am?"

"Then I have nothing to say. You don't want the shares in the neighboring village's catering company anymore?"

"Are you going to take them back?"

"Of course I'll take them back. If you don't work for the company anymore, you can't enjoy the dividends from the shares anymore."

"But I'm still working for the company."

"If you go to the KTV, you can't work for the company. I won't try to persuade you anymore. You can choose: either go to the KTV or stay at the catering company in the neighboring village. I don't need you to answer today. Think it over carefully and give me an answer in a week."

A week later, Hongyan chose the KTV. The third sister-in-law looked at Hongyan's back and was a little sad. She looked at Xiaocui who was working on the side and asked worriedly, "Xiaocui, you're not going to go too?"

Xiaocui smiled and said, "Third sister-in-law, don't worry. I've never liked that kind of life. I like it this way."

Lanhua also smiled and said, "Do a good job. If you do well, I will not only promote you but also help you make money and find you a good man to marry."

Xiaocui thought of Zhigang and almost burst into tears.

Chapter 074 Zhigang Wants to Get Married (1)

Zhigang wanted to get married, of course with Jing'er. It had been several months since they had their first time, and then only two or three times. Jing'er was passive in all aspects except for work. Zhigang knew that Jing'er liked him, but Jing'er never mentioned marriage.

Zhigang's few sexual encounters with Jing'er were etched in his memory. Jing'er's perfect appearance and figure were already captivating, but Zhigang discovered she was even more beautiful when undressed. Her flawless, delicate, and smooth skin, and her firm, porcelain-like breasts, were unlike anything he had ever seen. The first time they made love, Jing'er was inexperienced and simply cooperated, wanting to bring him pleasure. It was clear that she also enjoyed herself that time. The second time, Jing'er was much more proactive. She wasn't the fiery, passionate type like Hongyan, nor the reserved, hesitant type like Guiling, nor the straightforward, uninhibited type like Lanhua, nor the unrestrained type like Yuqin. Instead, she was a gentle, fully enjoyable proactive type, completely offering herself to him without reservation. Every time he faced Jing'er's body, Zhigang felt a sense of awe. Touching her flesh made him melt; only by melting could he possess this sacred body. Because this beautiful body belonged to him, Zhigang cherished it immensely. He was extremely careful when entering her, and even more so once inside. But Jing'er wouldn't let him be careful, always telling him through her body language: you should recklessly enjoy this body; it's yours.

Making love with Jing'er was the richest form of communication through body language; they understood each other perfectly. Jing'er's intelligence might not surpass Yuqin's or Guiling's, but the physical communication and tacit understanding between Jing'er and Zhigang was unparalleled. It was as if her body was a sensitive electronic sensor; the slightest movement from Zhigang was immediately understood by Jing'er, and she would immediately respond to his body's most desired actions. Sometimes, before even conscious thought could register it, their bodies had already communicated several times.

This was because Jing'er loved Zhigang so much, and was so attentive to his subtle movements. Because of this love, she also thoroughly enjoyed Zhigang.

The second time they made love, Jing'er experienced an orgasm. It was after their thorough physical communication that they both reached the pinnacle of ecstasy together. Zhigang once again experienced that feeling of wanting to be destroyed, just like he had during his first time making love with Guiling.

But Jing'er gave him too few opportunities. Jing'er was extremely busy at school; there were no more dormitories for her at the neighboring village's guild hall, so she spent weekends at school. Several times she came back, but her third sister-in-law always found ways to keep her there, arranging for her to stay overnight with Zhigang, making her very embarrassed. Zhigang also went to the school to see her, but she wouldn't give him a chance to stay, saying that with so many teachers and students watching, she absolutely couldn't let a man stay in her room.

There was no other way. Zhigang could only enjoy her more often by marrying her.

Zhigang said to Lanhua, "I want to transfer Jing'er back to headquarters; she's still the HR and Administration Manager."

Lanhua asked, "Is that necessary? You're doing well at both jobs now."

Zhigang said somewhat awkwardly, "No, third sister-in-law, I want to marry her."

"Oh, can't sleep at night thinking about her?"

Zhigang knew Lanhua was jealous, but jealous as she was, his third sister-in-law would still do what needed to be done.

“You need to talk to Guiling. Guiling probably can’t do without Jing’er.”

Zhigang called Guiling: “Guiling, I want to transfer Jing’er back to headquarters. She’s still the HR and administration manager. The work here is more important and we need her more.” Guiling

said: “If you want her to go, just issue a transfer order. Why are you asking me?”

Zhigang knew that Guiling was also jealous. He lowered his voice and said: “Guiling, please forgive me. I want to marry Jing’er.”

Guiling was silent for a while and said: “I’m happy for you. Really.”

Chapter 075 Zhigang Wants to Get Married (2)

Jing’er also wanted to return to headquarters. She liked the feeling of working with Zhigang and Lanhua. She felt that she had someone to rely on and felt at ease. The school was already on track. Her mission as a firefighter was already completed. Guiling’s side had also gradually caught up.

On Friday afternoon, Zhigang drove to pick up Jing’er. Jing’er didn’t have much stuff. The trunk and the back seat space were enough.

As the car drove out of the school gate, Zhigang especially wanted to drive to the place he had gone with Guiling last time and have sex with Jing’er in the car. However, the car was full of Jing'er's luggage, making it inconvenient, and Zhigang wanted to discuss marriage with Jing'er in a formal setting. He drove directly to his apartment, and Jing'er didn't ask why they didn't go to the company.

Zhigang put down his suitcase, turned around, and hugged Jing'er, kissing her. Jing'er obediently met his embrace, kissing the man who had captivated her.

For the past few months, Jing'er had longed for Zhigang's body, but she was exceptionally good at controlling herself, always going with the flow and never actively pursuing her desires. When she thought of Zhigang, she would reminisce about their time together, trying hard to suppress her impulsive desires and thoughts. Zhigang was her only man, past and future. As for the experience of being raped, she treated it as a nightmare.

When Zhigang held her and his tongue entered her mouth, she melted. She felt that Zhigang had given her so much. Each kiss gave her a new memory, and each time they made love, she felt even more grateful for the blessings of fate. She was easily satisfied with Zhigang, yet no one else could satisfy her.

Jing'er's heart quickly raced, yearning for Zhigang to enter her. And Zhigang felt the same way. He gently lifted her exquisite and beautiful body, gently placed it on the bed, and gently entered her. Jing'er was already impatient, but she didn't show her eagerness. Only at the moment Zhigang entered her did she grab him, letting him go all the way in, and then she took the initiative. She twisted and turned beneath Zhigang, making circular motions around his lower body, allowing him to enjoy himself with minimal movement on top, conserving his energy so he could give his all during orgasm.

Jing'er made love without speaking, simply enjoying it with her eyes slightly closed. Zhigang didn't want to speak either; words were superfluous at this moment, as all communication was precisely accomplished through physical contact. Their only difference was that Zhigang hoped his climax would be delayed, while Jing'er eagerly anticipated and awaited it.

They moved with the skill and precision of a couple married for many years, deeply in love. When the climax arrived, Zhigang thrust violently, as if trying to tear himself to pieces, attempting to envelop the porcelain with his own fragments. But he couldn't; the fragments were too shattered. He felt as if the precious porcelain was about to break under his impact. In the end, the porcelain remained intact and beautiful, the fragments scattered on the ground. He let out a long sigh.

Jing'er clung tightly to Zhigang, as if he were about to run away. Zhigang gently stroked the smooth skin of her back and said, "Jing'er."

"Hmm?"

Jing'er's voice was lazy, full of sleepiness.

"Let's get married."

"Okay."

Zhigang looked up: "Really?"

"Really. I want to get married too."

"Why?"

"I want you every day, every day like this."

"That's not easy, I need to work hard to take care of my health."

"I want to have you forever, and not let anyone else have a chance to take you away."

"No. No one can take you away."

Zhigang thought of his third sister-in-law and Guiling. Of course, they wouldn't and couldn't take Zhigang away.

Jing'er also thought of her third sister-in-law. She knew that her third sister-in-law and Zhigang had no relationship now. She also knew that Zhigang might have other women, but she wouldn't ask. She felt that she had already gotten enough from Zhigang.

"However—"

"However what?"

"Before we get married, let's go back to my hometown in Guizhou together and meet my parents."

"Of course. That's the right thing to do. We should also go to my hometown. I want everyone to know that I married such a good wife as you."

Chapter 076 The Story of Sauce-Flavored Old Wine (1)

Zhigang and Jing'er decided to go to Guizhou first. Jing'er's family lives in Maotai Town, Guizhou Province, the place where Maotai liquor is made, and her family also owns a distillery.

"Your family owns a distillery?"

Zhigang was surprised.

"Yes. Do you know why I'm called Jing'er?"

"Why?"

"There's an old well in the yard of my family's distillery, I heard it's from the Qing Dynasty. Our liquor is brewed with water from that well, and it best represents the history and traditional soy sauce aroma of Maotai Town. Everyone around calls our liquor 'old soy sauce aroma liquor.' Before I was born, because I was the eldest, my dad said that whether it was a boy or a girl, everyone would be named Jing. A boy would be called Shu Jing, and a girl would be called Shu Jing'er."

"Do you have any younger siblings?"

"I have two younger sisters. One is in her second year of high school, and the other is in elementary school."

"Your parents must have wanted a boy to inherit the distillery."

"Yes, they really wanted one. But we're disappointing, we're both girls."

"It's not that you're disappointing, it's that your parents are disappointing."

Zhigang's words made Jing'er laugh.

Maotai Town is lined with distilleries, probably hundreds of them. The Shuji Winery, belonging to Jing'er's family, wasn't large, but it was quite old. Entering the courtyard, there was a beautiful pavilion in the middle, with a well inside—the very well Jing'er had mentioned. The factory buildings looked to be about 100 years old, with one new, modern building among them. Jing'er said her family's fermentation tanks, passed down for generations, were all in the old factory, where all the wine was brewed; the new factory was just a packaging workshop and warehouse.

They crossed the courtyard to a single-story building, which was the winery's office. A couple in their fifties came out to greet them. Zhigang, recognizing Jing'er's parents, quickly stepped forward, bowed, and said, "Uncle, Aunt, hello."

The elderly couple happily welcomed them inside. Jing'er's father looked like an ordinary old farmer, not very talkative, just sitting happily smiling at Zhigang, his face full of wrinkles. Jing'er's mother, however, was a still-attractive middle-aged woman, happily moving around pouring tea, constantly complaining to Jing'er. Zhigang thought to himself, no wonder Jing'er is so beautiful; she inherited the best features of both her parents and is even more beautiful than her mother.

Jing'er's father called over a factory manager named Xu to show Zhigang around the distillery, while Jing'er stayed in the office to chat with the elderly couple. Factory Manager Xu first led Zhigang to the pavilion in the courtyard, introducing the water quality indicators of the well and explaining how modern science could explain the rich aroma and unique taste of the liquor brewed from this well.

"That's the explanation from modern science,"

Factory Manager Xu said. "Actually, there's a beautiful legend about the origin of this well and why its water is so unique."

"A legend?"

Zhigang asked, intrigued. "Please tell me."

"Jing'er didn't tell you?"

"No. I only found out about her family's distillery before I came."

"That girl is such a quiet one."

They sat down on the seats around the pavilion and listened to Factory Manager Xu's story.

It was said that during the Qing Dynasty, there were only a few distilleries in Maotai Town, and Shuji Distillery was one of the smaller ones, yet its liquor was the best. Why? Because his family owned a clear spring that flowed year-round, its water gurgling and flowing along a small river outside the factory into the Chishui River. Tea brewed with this spring water was fragrant, sweet, refreshing, and invigorating. The soy sauce-flavored liquor brewed with this water was slightly yellow in color, thick, and incredibly aromatic; it was so delicious you couldn't stop drinking it, yet it didn't cause a dry mouth or headache. Several other distilleries were located nearby, all using water from that small river, and their liquor was of good quality, though slightly different from the Shu family's, but no one cared.

Then, a prominent figure arrived in Maotai Town and opened the largest distillery. This figure, said to be the younger brother of some Han Chinese prince, surnamed Wu, assumed that distilleries in the same location would produce identical-tasting liquor. However, his liquor tasted vastly different, and no one wanted to drink it. So, Mr. Wu sent people everywhere to inquire, and finally discovered the secret of the Shu family's spring water. Master Wu approached the head of the Shu family, an ancestor of the family, named Shu Changqing, to discuss buying his family's winery. Shu Changqing, of course, refused. Then one day, the winery caught fire, and all the buildings were reduced to ashes. Master Wu colluded with officials, using a combination of intimidation and deception, to buy the land and rebuild the winery.

Master Wu seized control of the spring's source, and the wine he brewed was indeed much better, but still not as good as the wine from other wineries, much less the Shu family's. Meanwhile, Shu Changqing used the money Master Wu had earned from the land purchase to buy a very small plot of land elsewhere, only a third the size of the original, and opened another winery. He dug a well in the center of that plot and used the well water to brew wine. Unexpectedly, the wine Shu Changqing brewed at the new location tasted just as good as his original wine and became very popular.

Master Wu, hearing that Shu Changqing's wine was still better than his own, sent people to inquire. It turned out that his family's ancestral winemaking technique was unique. Old Master Wu then pondered how to seize it. Buying it was out of the question; the seller wouldn't sell it. Robbing it was also out of the question; he didn't know where the craftsmanship was hidden—perhaps there wasn't even a written record, it was all in his mind.

Wu Changqing had no sons, only a daughter, who was as beautiful as a fairy.

At this point in the story, Director Xu glanced at Zhigang and said, "Now it seems the Shu family is blessed with daughters but not sons, and the women are all beauties."

Zhigang nodded, completely agreeing.

Chapter 77 The Story of Aged Sauce-Flavored Liquor (2)

Factory Director Xu continued the story.

Everyone could guess that Shu Changqing would pass on his ancestral brewing techniques to his daughter. His daughter was so beautiful that suitors had been coming in droves since she was 13. Master Wu wanted his son to propose marriage, hoping to marry Shu Changqing's daughter and thus obtain the brewing techniques. Shu Changqing had rules: his daughter's husband had to be a live-in son-in-law, and their first son had to bear the Shu surname to inherit the family business. Master Wu didn't care about these rules at all. Once his daughter was married, he, Master Wu, would decide the surname of their son.

Shu Changqing's daughter was named Chunxi, and she was incredibly beautiful, described in books as having a face that could make fish sink and geese fall from the sky, a beauty that could shame the moon and flowers. This girl loved embroidery from a young age, and her embroidered flowers, peonies, mandarin ducks, and butterflies were lifelike. Many people from far and wide were willing to pay a high price for her embroidery. Chunxi embroidered very slowly, so her works were always in high demand. One important reason she was so skilled at embroidery was her love of observing flowers, plants, insects, and fish in the wild, and then weaving her observations into her embroidery.

One day, Chunxi was lying on the bank of the Chishui River, watching butterflies flutter and wildflowers bloom, completely absorbed in her observations, when suddenly someone's voice startled her.

"Young lady, what are you doing here, lost in thought?"

Chunxi sat up abruptly and looked up to see a handsome young man in a grey robe, carrying a bundle on his back, like a scholar traveling a long way to take the imperial examinations. She had always admired scholars, and seeing this young man, her heart skipped a beat; she felt a sudden attraction.

She blushed and lowered her head, remaining silent. Seeing that she didn't speak, the young man sat down beside her and asked, "What's your name?"

Girls don't easily reveal their names, but Chunxi was willing today: "Chunxi."

She looked up at the man beside her with her large eyes and asked, "And you?"

"My name is Wu Qirong."

"Wu Qirong? You must be the son of the owner of Wu's Winery, right? I've heard that you're talented and have a bright future."

"Really? I just returned from taking the imperial examination in the provincial capital. What future can a down-on-his-luck scholar have?"

"The results haven't been released yet. How do you know you're down on your luck?"

Chunxi knew she was too beautiful, and no man she met disliked her. But this man was different; she liked him too. So, when Wu Qirong said he would come to see her again, she actually nodded.

The next day, Wu Qirong came to the Chishui River. Chunxi was already admiring the flowers and plants on the riverbank. The third day, they met again by the Chishui River, and Chunxi gave herself to this man.

Several months later, the results were released, and Wu Qirong had passed the imperial examination. Taking advantage of the situation, his father, Master Wu, asked a matchmaker to propose marriage to Shu Changqing, asking for Chunxi to marry Wu Qirong. Shu Changqing refused without hesitation.

However, Chunxi was already pregnant, and her belly was too big to hide, so her mother discovered it. When her mother asked who the man was, Chunxi had no choice but to tell her it was Wu Qirong, and said she absolutely had to marry him.

Shu Changqing was helpless; he only had this one precious daughter, and compared to her, what was the winery? Besides, the Wu family had promised that Chunxi's first son could take the Shu surname. So, Chunxi, six months pregnant, married into the Wu family.

Wu Qirong treated Chunxi very well, and she suffered no hardship after the marriage, which brought Shu Changqing some comfort. However, Wu Qirong had no interest in brewing wine. He was already a scholar who had passed the imperial examinations, just waiting for the court to issue an edict granting him an official position. Master Wu, however, wanted his son to first learn brewing, to master the Shu family's brewing techniques, and then teach them to his family before taking office. Wu Qirong absolutely refused. He told his father that the Shu family's brewing techniques belonged to the Shu family, and the Wu family couldn't accept them. He wouldn't go there, and that if he had a son, he would name him Shu and then he would learn the Shu family's brewing techniques. Old Master Wu was furious. He couldn't believe his unfilial son was so disloyal, not only refusing to learn the Shu family's techniques but also actually making his son

bear the Shu surname. Chunxi gave birth to a son, whom Wu Qirong named Shu Muchun. Muchun grew up to inherit the Shu family's techniques and recipes, becoming a renowned brewer in Maotai Town. After Old Master Wu's death, the Wu Family Winery was passed down to Wu Qirong. Wu Qirong simply passed it on to his son, making it part of the Shu Family Winery.

At this moment, Jing'er arrived in the pavilion and interrupted Director Xu's story: "What are you still talking about here? Have you finished your tour?"

Director Xu said, "No, I'm telling Zhigang the story of your ancestors. Now I'll take him to visit the wine cellar."

Jing'er took Zhigang's hand and they went to visit together. The wine cellar is the core asset of a winery. The quality of the wine is passed down through fermentation and preservation in the cellar, so the value of a winery can be seen from the number and age of its cellars. Shuji Winery's cellars are over 100 years old, actually even older. The fire didn't destroy them because the cellars were pits dug into the ground and covered with something, so the fire didn't burn them; it just collapsed and buried them. Shu Changqing moved the cellars when he sold the land. Therefore, Shuji's cellars are at least 500 years old. Zhigang estimates there are at least several hundred, perhaps even a thousand, of these cellars.

Chapter 78: Marriage Can't Be Done.

Jing'er's home wasn't far from the winery; they arrived on foot in a short while. Her house was in a villa community, a detached villa with a large yard. After entering the house, Jing'er's mother shouted loudly, "Xiaochun, Xiaoxi, come out and greet the guests!"

They heard thumping sounds as two girls, one tall and one short, ran down the stairs. The older one was half a head taller than Jing'er, and her face was almost exactly the same as Jing'er's; the younger one was about 10 years old, a miniature version of Jing'er. Zhigang thought to himself, "Three stunning beauties from one family, the water in Maotai Town really does nurture people."

Jing'er said, "This is my eldest sister Chun'er, and this is my youngest sister Xi'er."

The two sisters said in unison, "Hello, brother."

They knew that Zhigang was their future brother-in-law, so they huddled together on the sofa to the side, chattering and glancing at Zhigang constantly, not hiding at all that they were talking about him. The two sisters seemed to be arguing endlessly about a question, and it seemed that neither of them could convince the other. The eldest sister, Chun'er, asked Zhigang, "Brother Zhigang, who is older, you or my sister?"

Zhigang said, "It seems that your sister is two years older."

The youngest sister, Xi'er, asked, "If a woman is three years older, she will hold a golden brick; if a woman is two years older, what will she hold?"

Zhigang couldn't answer, and asked her in return, "What do you think she will hold?"

"I say I won't hold anything, you will hold my sister Jing'er."

Everyone in the room burst into laughter. The two younger sisters were noticeably more lively than their older sister.

After dinner, Jing'er's mother sent the two younger sisters to do their homework, then took Jing'er to her bedroom for a heart-to-heart talk, leaving Jing'er's father and Zhigang in the living room. Zhigang knew the test had begun.

Jing'er's father offered Zhigang a cigarette, but Zhigang refused. He lit it himself, took a deep drag, and slowly exhaled a wisp of smoke, saying, "Zhigang, there's something I need to clarify with you."

"Please go ahead."

"How many siblings do you have?"

"Three. Two older sisters and me."

"So you're the only boy in your family?"

"Yes."

Jing'er's father frowned, took another deep drag, and said, "That's difficult. I only have three daughters, no sons, so the son-in-law has to take on the responsibility of a son. Our Shu family has a tradition: if there's no son, the eldest son-in-law must marry into the family, and the children born must bear the Shu surname. You need to be prepared."

While listening to Director Xu's story, Zhigang had already sensed something was amiss, and now he understood—it was this matter. It wouldn't bother him if the child took the surname Shu, but his parents would definitely object; he was their only son.

Zhigang was silent for a moment, then said, "Uncle, this is a big deal, I can't answer you right away. I'll go back and discuss it with my parents."

"Alright. You have to understand the old folks' good intentions. Our Shuji Winery has been passed down for hundreds of years, and for generations, we've had more girls than boys."

"I understand. Uncle, don't worry. I'll handle this with Jing'er."

The original plan to get married was no longer an option; even the possibility of marriage was now uncertain.

They took the train back to Shanghai. Throughout the journey, Jing'er didn't mention it, nor did Zhigang. Neither of them had made up their minds, so what good would it do to bring it up?

Back at Zhigang's apartment, after putting down their luggage and sitting down, Zhigang finally asked, "Jing'er, what do you think we should do?"

Jing'er said, "Let nature take its course."

"But we were planning to get married."

"Then we'll just have to postpone the wedding for now. Let's wait and see."

Zhigang knew Jing'er was just like that—submissive and unassuming—but he was determined to get married and had no intention of not getting married.

Jing'er leaned against Zhigang's chest, almost shrinking into his arms, and said, "Even if we don't get married, I'll always be yours. Get married, and I'll be your mistress."

Zhigang was furious: "Who am I going to marry? I won't marry anyone but you."

For over a week, Zhigang and Jing'er hadn't had a chance to be together. Now that they were relaxed, Zhigang wanted it. He cupped the beautiful face in his arms and gently kissed it. He kissed from her eyes to her nose, then her mouth, then her ears, and finally the base of her ear. Zhigang knew Jing'er loved kissing the base of her ear; she had never said it, but her reactions always conveyed her pleasure.

Jing'er had also longed for this for days. She had wanted to at home, but her parents wouldn't allow them to be together, and her two younger sisters' shifty eyes were always watching them, preventing them from having a chance to do it secretly. Jing'er was a devoted woman, but her desires were no less intense. She was even more impatient than Zhigang, letting him enter her on the sofa. This was their first time making love on the sofa, and it felt somewhat unsatisfying; all her energy seemed to dissipate on the sofa.

But Jing'er still reached orgasm. She exerted herself forcefully, while Zhigang thrust into her, reaching a dizzying peak of pleasure. After the climax, tears streamed down her face.

Jing'er had a bad feeling; she didn't know if she could marry Zhigang.

Chapter 79 Parents Disagree

Lan Hua saw Zhi Gang's office door open and went in: "Zhi Gang, you're back?"

Zhi Gang sat dejectedly in his chair and said, "I'm back. But the marriage can't be arranged?"

Lan Hua glanced at Zhi Gang ambiguously and asked, "Why can't we get married?"

"Her family doesn't have any boys, so they want me to be a live-in son-in-law."

Lan Hua said, "There's nothing wrong with that."

"But, if we have a son, he has to take the surname Shu so he can inherit her family's winery and ancestral brewing techniques. I only have one son at home, and if my son takes the surname Shu, will my parents agree?"

"That's easy to solve, just have another son and he'll take your surname."

"We can't have more children now, and even if we did, who can guarantee it would be a boy?"

"Then we'll just have to not get married."

Zhi Gang looked at her expression and said, "Are you smug?"

"To be honest, I feel both regret and happiness."

"You're not mine anymore, what's there to be happy about?"

"I'm still happy. It means I still have feelings for you."

"Forget it, let's not talk about this. Has everything been alright at the company these days?"

"Everything's normal."

Jing'er came in: "Sister Lan Hua."

"Jing'er, you're back?"

Jing'er walked up to Zhigang and said, "Zhigang, can you arrange a dormitory for me?"

Zhigang glanced at Lanhua, who said, "You two talk, I have something to do,"

and left.

"We're getting married soon, so you can live with me."

"No. It seems like we don't even know when we'll get married. I can't live with you."

Zhigang knew Jing'er was shy, so he had no choice but to agree: "Okay. You can arrange it yourself, it's under your department's jurisdiction anyway. But, how about you stay with me one night a week?"

Jing'er nodded slightly and left. Zhigang thought he had to take Jing'er back to his hometown, even though he knew his parents wouldn't agree, he still had to talk to them.

The next day, Zhigang drove with Jing'er back to his hometown, arriving in 5 hours. His parents had no complaints about their future daughter-in-law, but when Zhigang mentioned becoming a live-in son-in-law, both elders disagreed and gave him a severe scolding. Zhigang only stayed one night and drove away dejectedly the next morning.

Although it was expected, Zhigang was still quite shocked. Back at the company in the afternoon, he said to Lan Hua, "Lan Hua, come have a drink with me tonight."

Lan Hua knew he was upset and asked, "Should I call Jing'er?"

"No. It's about her, I want to talk to you about it."

They took a taxi to the Tianyi Hotel and asked for a small private room. When the food arrived, Zhigang ordered a bottle of Gujinggong liquor, gulped it down in two glasses, and said, "Drink."

Lan Hua also picked up her glass, and they both took a big gulp. After eating a few bites, Zhigang said, "Third Sister-in-law, what should I do?"

Zhigang trusted his third sister-in-law; they had worked together for years, so he consulted her on everything. But his third sister-in-law didn't know what to do either, especially since she was also involved and had her own ulterior motives.

Zhigang didn't need his third sister-in-law to give him any real advice; he just wanted someone to talk to, someone to confide in: "Third sister-in-law, you know how much I love Jing'er. Jing'er has given me her whole heart, but how can such a wonderful match not happen? If my parents only objected to Jing'er herself, I could completely ignore it and still marry her. But they care about what my son's surname will be, they're afraid our Feng family line will end. End our line? Look at that. How vicious those words are. I have no way to fight them."

Lanhua picked up her wine glass, clinked it with Zhigang's, and they both took a big gulp. Lanhua said, "Good things come to those who wait. Don't be discouraged, there's always a solution."

Zhigang shook his head: "There's no solution other than not getting married. But do you know how much I love Jing'er?"

As Zhigang spoke, tears streamed down his face. His third sister-in-law also felt pain in her heart, a pain born of jealousy. She picked up her glass, downed it in one gulp, and said, "Zhigang, I know how much you like Jing'er, that's why I've been trying to set you two up. Do you think I really wanted to set you up? I just wanted you to be happy."

Zhigang also finished his drink: "I know, Third Sister-in-law. You're my confidante, you understand me best. That's why I'm willing to tell you everything. I know it's hard for you to feel this way, but who can I talk to?"

Zhigang ordered another bottle of wine, poured it all in equal amounts, and picked up his glass: "Drink."

He clinked glasses with Third Sister-in-law and took a big gulp. Third Sister-in-law said, "Zhigang, you've gone too far, don't drink anymore."

"It's okay. What am I afraid of when I'm with you?"

Third Sister-in-law filled her own glass with the wine Zhigang had been drinking. Zhigang had already fallen asleep on the table.

Third Sister-in-law called the waiter to settle the bill and asked, "Are the guest rooms upstairs with your company?"

"Yes."

"Book me a guest room."

The waiter went out and came back a moment later with a room key. Third Sister-in-law helped Zhigang out of the private room, took the elevator upstairs, found the room number, opened the door, and threw Zhigang onto the bed. Even though she was strong, she was already panting heavily.
