San Niang also appointed Ruan Wen Jun as the Grand Tutor of the Ming Dynasty, responsible for assisting Prince Zhennan, Wanyan Dongsheng. The Prince Zhennan's palace and Wen Jun's Military Governor's office in Southern Xinjiang would both be located in the former capital of Annam. Thus, the Empress entrusted the entire Southern Xinjiang of the Ming Dynasty and her youngest son, Wanyan Dongsheng, to Princess Ruan Wen Jun of the Southern Kingdom. Upon hearing the news, civil and military officials and nobles from the court came to congratulate Ruan Wen Jun.
