[Fantasy] The Beauty's Tribulation (Complete) - 4-6

Pei Xiaolei, the young lady who had been found

, didn't know how far the carriage had gone, only that the horse was dead and the carriage had overturned! Her hands, red and swollen from the reins, burned with pain. She jumped down from the overturned carriage, looking at the desolate and unfamiliar surroundings, then at the darkening sky. She clenched her fists, silently encouraging herself. Since she had escaped a near-fatal fall from a cliff on her first time driving a carriage, this minor mishap wouldn't easily defeat her.

The barren land stretched endlessly, and in the distance, she could see what appeared to be a house on the hillside. "Heaven never seals off all paths; the ancients were right," Pei Xiaolei thought, gazing at the distant glimmer of dawn. A slight sigh of relief escaped her lips, and the anxious heart that had been hanging in suspense began to calm.

The black and yellow earth was littered with the scattered debris from inside the carriage. She found a tinderbox on the ground, picked up a water bag full of water, gripped her longsword, took a deep breath, and prepared to walk up the hillside. She had only taken two steps when she noticed a huge burlap sack beside the carriage, its contents seemingly moving slightly!

Pei Xiaolei took a breath, mustered her courage, and stepped forward, using her longsword to cut open the tightly bound sack. What she saw inside shocked her even more.

A young boy—or rather, the boy named Tang Shizi whom she had seen a few days ago outside the brothel—was stuffed into the sack.

"Hey… how are you? Are you alright?" Pei Xiaolei checked Tang Shizi's breath, and seeing he was still breathing, she immediately half-lifted him, gently patting his slightly feverish face with one hand, and called out.

"Hmm..." With a soft sigh, the boy opened his eyes, looked at the woman embracing him, and asked, "Who are you?"

Pei Xiaolei was taken aback for a moment before remembering that on the day Ruomei and he had their conflict, she had disguised herself as a man; no wonder he hadn't recognized her.

"A passerby!" Pei Xiaolei replied.

"A passerby?" The boy was silent for a moment, looking at her suspiciously. But whether the boy believed her or not, Pei Xiaolei had no intention of continuing this pointless conversation with him in this increasingly dark wilderness.

"Can you stand up now? It's too dangerous here; we have to try our luck over there!" With that, she pointed to a house in the distance.

The boy, barefoot, struggled to his feet. The cool night breeze ruffled his thin, transparent shirt, the chill penetrating to his bones, and he shivered slightly.

A faint, strange fragrance wafted from him. Pei Xiaolei frowned, took a few steps back, picked up a dusty garment from the ground, and tossed it to him. "You can wear this for now!"

He glanced at it disdainfully, threw it on the ground, and said dismissively, "No need!"

"Suit yourself..." Pei Xiaolei shrugged, dragging her heavy longsword, and walked towards the distant hillside. The boy followed silently behind her.

...

Finally, they arrived. Pei Xiaolei looked at the mud hut in the wilderness, like a drifting duckweed, and tears almost welled up in her eyes. She used the hilt of her sword to shoo away the fighting wild dogs surrounding the door of the mud hut and stepped inside.

Self-reliance, sustenance and abundance. By the faint moonlight, she squatted down in front of the earthen pit she had found, took out a tinderbox, lit a small clump of thatch and put it into the pit as kindling, then threw in a few pieces of wood placed nearby. With a few crisp crackling sounds, the wood immediately burst into flames, instantly illuminating the dim mud hut.

This mud hut was probably built here by someone as a place to rest. Although the hut was simple, it was relatively clean. A long bench, a pile of thatch, a small earthenware pot, an earthen pit for burning, and some dry firewood were all neatly arranged.

As she was observing her surroundings, the boy also walked in. He swaggered to the long bench, plopped down, crossed his legs, glanced at her, and arrogantly ordered, "Hey... I'm hungry, get me something to eat!"

The boy's overly matter-of-fact ordering almost made her think that she had somehow become a maid in the Tang Prince's household.

"Little brat," Pei Xiaolei thought to herself, tossing him a water bag and coldly saying, "I only have water here! If you want something to eat, go find it yourself!" She then pointed to the dark expanse outside.

The boy glared at her, snorted, and didn't reply. He simply took the water bag and began gulping down water until it was completely empty, then he stopped and threw it aside.

Pei Xiaolei, too lazy to bother with this spoiled young master, sat on the straw, leaned against the wall, and closed her eyes to rest.

Midnight.

Low, hoarse murmurs and gasps echoed through the small mud house.

Pei Xiaolei was awakened from her sleep. Opening her eyes slightly, she saw the young master opposite her, who had somehow rolled off the wooden stool and was now curled up on his side. His thin shirt had been tossed aside, revealing the boy's slender, youthful body. One hand was constantly stroking the reddened skin of his chest, while the other was frantically rubbing his swollen, engorged member. His brows were furrowed, his eyes half-closed, and a series of low, heavy breaths escaped from his parted lips. Thick, mottled white fluid was scattered on the floor.

Inside, the air was thick with the stench of sex, mixed with a lingering, undeniable fragrance.

Had it already begun? Pei Xiaolei sighed softly and stood up.

Startled by the noise, the boy immediately stopped what he was doing, looked up, and stared intently at the woman before him with bloodshot eyes filled with grief, shame, and embarrassment… Finally, all of this culminated in a piercing roar: “Don’t look! Get away! Get out of here… all of you, get far away from me…”

Pei Xiaolei quietly watched the fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy before her, who was like a trapped beast, unsure of what to do. After a long while, she bent down to pick up the longsword from the ground, lit a torch in the fire pit, and silently walked towards the door.

Stepping out the door, with her back to the boy, she slowly said, “What you were fed… was probably the aphrodisiac for those young men!”

Without waiting for the boy’s response, she gripped the longsword, lit the torch, and strode out of the house, heading straight for the huge old vine tree dozens of meters away from the mud house. She would probably spend the night in the tree.

Several tall, dark-skinned wild dogs that had been lingering outside the mud house, upon seeing the fierce human carrying weapons leave, immediately followed the strong scent emanating from inside, wagging their tails and filing in...

Speaking of which, you're a complete novice, and I've never actually seen what a long review written for yourself looks like~~~ I'm so looking forward to it, so curious...

Lovely long review, let me broaden your horizons... broaden your horizons...

Pseudo-BL

Pei Xiaolei finally managed to climb up the big tree, but before she could even find a slightly comfortable spot, she was startled by a burst of frenzied barking and almost fell off.

"What's going on now?" she muttered, looking at the source of the sound, her head throbbing. "That brat, he never lets me relax for a moment!" But despite her complaints, she didn't dare slack off. Using both hands and feet, she slid awkwardly down from the tree, and as soon as she landed, she ran back to the mud house.

The scene that greeted her upon entering truly startled Pei Xiaolei.

Tang Shizi stood in the corner, his clothes tattered, his lips bitten raw. He gripped a long wooden bench with a broken leg, facing off against four panting, ferocious-looking wild dogs. The largest dog, perched on the broken leg of the bench, bared its teeth and growled at the boy opposite it. A long, bloody welt ran down its neck, and its steps were unsteady; it was clearly badly injured.

Pei Xiaolei, in a moment of panic, disregarded everything else and kicked the wooden door with a loud thud. The already crumbling door collapsed.

Tang Shizi stared at her in surprise; the wild dogs stared at her in surprise; she stared in surprise at the fallen door beneath her feet… Seriously? This is too much!

But now was not the time for reflection! She raised her head, her gaze filled with the most ferocious intensity, and gripped her sword hilt tightly. Come on, today it's either the dogs or the man who dies.

With a "woof...", four stray dogs rushed towards her...and then towards the gate behind her, disappearing in a few swift movements!

Uh...was her aura just too powerful?

The boy, seeing the threat gone, relaxed, his body went limp, the wooden stool fell to the ground, and he collapsed.

Pei Xiaolei rushed over, helping him up, and anxiously asked, "Hey, are you alright?"

He glanced at her, then immediately turned away, saying breathlessly, "Why did you come back?"

"Curious!" She used all her strength to help the boy, who was heavier than her, onto the haystack, letting him sit against the wall. Then, panting, she wiped the fine sweat from her brow and sighed with lingering regret, "Curiosity really does kill the cat!"

"Huh? What cat?" the boy asked.

"It's nothing!" she changed the subject, standing up and looking down at him. "I'm right outside! You can call me if you need anything." She then strode towards the door.

"Don't go!" Before she could finish speaking, he pressed down on her.

So heavy! Pei Xiaoli pushed away the weight that suddenly pressed down on her, and the person behind her immediately slid to the ground. Helplessly, she sat down and helped him up. His body heat radiated from him, and his exotic fragrance grew stronger.

"I feel so uncomfortable..." he said softly, clutching her sleeve tightly and leaning against her shoulder.

Pei Xiaoli glanced at his undeniably erect and swollen manhood, reaching out to touch his forehead. The heat was intense.

The young man, who was pressed against her and moaning softly, seemed to be burned by her touch, immediately avoiding her small hand and then forcefully pushing her away. He collapsed onto the haystack, his body arched, his hands hastily reaching between his legs to grasp his penis. He rubbed it rapidly a few times, then his curled-up body suddenly convulsed forward, and a stream of white fluid spurted out, staining the dry straw. Pei Xiaolei watched the young man, panting heavily, his flushed face buried in the straw, avoiding her gaze. She then looked at his enormous penis. A sense of astonishment washed over her. What was happening? Why? He had just ejaculated, yet his penis showed no signs of weakness; instead, it was even more erect and swollen. Logically, regardless of the type of aphrodisiac, such frequent ejaculation should have somewhat reduced its effects. But his current appearance suggested otherwise; he seemed to be in even greater pain.

What was wrong?

Suddenly, a bizarre thought flashed through her mind. Could it be… that's how it is?

===

...

"Of course, this is just my guess, it might not be true!" Although she was the kind of person who had become somewhat knowledgeable through long illness, with the guidance of a renowned doctor, she should be considered to have decent medical skills. However, having never actually treated anyone, she was probably at best an unlicensed doctor, so she wanted to leave herself an out. She didn't want to make any definitive statements, giving others too much hope and cutting off her own escape route.

"However..." she changed the subject, looking into his eyes, and said seriously, "If you don't expel the aphrodisiac from your body soon, you will die from exhaustion!"

"Okay..." he nodded in agreement, his pale face flashing with determination.

Seeing that he agreed, Pei Xiaolei gave him a reassuring smile, then took off one of her outer garments. After thinking for a moment, she reached into her hair, pulled out an exquisite hairpin, and her silky smooth, black, shiny hair immediately cascaded down, falling over her shoulders. She gently touched the small flower bud carved on her hairpin, then pulled hard from both sides, and a sharp, thin knife was drawn, gleaming menacingly in the flickering lamplight.

She looked at this small, scalpel-like self-defense tool and smiled! Her senior brother's gifts always seemed practical. But if he knew she was using this meticulously crafted black iron knife like this, she wondered if he would be angry!

With a light stroke of the black iron knife, her clothes instantly transformed into a dozen or so strips of cloth. She took one and neatly tied her waist-length hair into a ponytail. Then she got up and went outside, finding somewhere two thin, clean wooden sticks, their bark peeled off, and half an aloe vera plant.

She took one of the slightly larger wooden sticks, wrapped it in layers of cloth, and handed it to Tang Heng, saying, "It might hurt a lot later. If you can't stand it, just bite on this!"

He took it without a word and placed it beside him.

Pei Xiaolei had read many high-H BL novels and had even studied SM works like "Absolutely Beautiful Slave" against the grain. But these were just things she used to kill time at home; she never imagined they would one day become her practical teaching materials.

Yes, Tang Heng's actions weren't wrong, but he wasn't entirely on the right track. Although he had ejaculated, his body had only just been aroused, and it seemed that this drug... The drug could arouse his lust to its peak for a long time. Now, she could either let him slowly ejaculate, slowly tormenting him, and he would soon die from exhaustion; or she could decisively bring him to his peak in one go, wearing down the drug's effects.

She took a thin strip of cloth, about half a finger wide, and looped it around his penis. Tang Heng's body tensed suddenly, immediately stopping the hand that had touched his penis, looking at her in shock, the tip of his glans trembling slightly uncontrollably, a little fluid seeping out.

Pei Xiaolei pulled away his hand that was stopping her, saying, "Bear with it, you've taken a very strong and strange aphrodisiac. Without an antidote, this is the only way I can save you!"

His face suddenly turned ashen, his voice low and hoarse as he confirmed, "The only way?"

She raised her head, her gaze clear as she met his, and answered clearly, "The only way!" After a moment, she added, "From now on, I am your doctor!"

He hummed in response, then lowered his head, falling silent and ceasing his struggle. His face flushed, he gritted his teeth, his eyes blurry as he watched her slender hands roam over his erect penis. Each subtle, unintentional touch sent shivers down his spine.

"Ah..." A sharp, intense pain shot through him, and he cried out, his head snapping back.

Pei Xiaolei didn't stop. Instead, she quickened her pace, fastening the rope binding the base of his penis. With a slight pull, the thin strip of cloth sank deeper. Another sharp gasp came from above. Her brows furrowed even more. She crossed the ends of the rope, creating a net-like binding around the increasingly engorged organ. Reaching the glans, she wrapped the rope around the shaft several times, tying a neat, standard bow at the base. While her method of bondage might not be considered excellent, it was certainly a convincing facade.

Tang Heng lay half-reclined on the straw, head tilted back, staring blankly at the simple roof, breathing heavily. Large drops of sweat streamed down his forehead. His lower body ached; his burgeoning desire was forcibly imprisoned in a small, dark room.

After a while, Pei Xiaolei pulled him up, making him kneel and spread his legs, sticking his buttocks out. He complied, his half-asleep, watery eyes unable to conceal the pain in his heart. The nightmare had finally arrived.

Pei Xiaolei looked at the wooden stick she held in her hand, covered in aloe vera slime, which she had sculpted into a crude male genital organ. She was slightly distracted. She was actually going to be the legendary S.H.E.

She knelt behind him, one hand spreading Tang Heng's buttocks, the other hand holding a piece of sticky aloe vera flesh against his already red-hot genitals.

Tang Heng's tense, stiff body prevented her from completing her task. She slapped his snow-white buttocks hard, as if to herself, and said, "Relax!"

Tang Heng, in pain, took a deep breath, spread his legs wider, raised his buttocks, and gritted his teeth, saying, "Go ahead!"

She glanced at him, finding it hard to believe that the arrogant and spoiled prince had suddenly become so resilient.

"It will hurt, bear with it..." She then inserted a finger into his narrow, hot body. Before the aloe vera was squeezed out by the intestinal wall, the thick wooden stick in her hand blocked the exit.

That bastard said anal penetration was easy; she would definitely kill him. It

was so tight; the two-finger-wide wooden stick couldn't go in even after several attempts. Tang Heng lay half-lying on the ground, drenched in sweat, nearly collapsing from the pain.

What to do? She was also worried! Then, the images from the comic book, hidden in her mind, began to flash before her eyes, perfectly timed…

After being taught a lesson, she changed her position, squatting down beside Tang Heng. One hand reached for his pink penis, which had been bound and was slightly discolored. Tang Heng was startled and abruptly looked up at her, his lips twitching as if he wanted to say something. However, after a moment, he simply lowered his already flushed face shyly. His body swayed back and forth with the rubbing between her fingers, gurgling sounds coming from his throat.

Behind him, a thick, hard object was slowly squeezing into his body inch by inch with his movements. His body, which had just softened, immediately tensed up again; his anus was painful, as if it were about to tear. But looking at the thin woman in front of him, her brows furrowed, lips tightly pressed together, her hair already damp with a thin layer of sweat, and who looked much younger than him, he couldn't say a word. His teeth were clenched tightly on his lips, and his body swayed more violently back and forth with the warmth of her hands. The wooden rod inserted into his anus, accompanied by the increasingly strong taste of blood between his lips and teeth, penetrated even deeper.

Suddenly, a strange electric current surged through his back, instantly coursing through his body, an extreme pleasure rushing to his head.

"Ugh...ah..." He jerked his head up, trembling as he cried out, his lower body recklessly rubbing and thrusting against Pei Xiaolei's warm hand hole, the surging blood within him clamoring for release.

Is this it? Pei Xiaolei's eyes lit up, gripping the wooden rod and thrusting it in the direction it had come from. This time, she was too excited, and the force was slightly too great...

"Ugh...ah...ah...ah..." An even more intense sensation overwhelmed him, but the outlet of his desire was mercilessly bound. Several times he tried to break free, but the consequence of failure was even more intense pain and arousal. After several repetitions, tears welled up in his eyes.

"It hurts so much, let me out..." he pleaded pitifully in a hoarse voice, his body weak.

"Not yet..." Pei Xiaolei suppressed her intense emotions and answered coldly, her hands moving without pause, thrusting even faster and more violently.

Under the dual stimulation from both ends, a strange pleasure coursed through every cell of his body, overwhelming him like a tidal wave.

His body was already weak and powerless, only mechanically swaying back and forth as a conditioned reflex. His ears and eyes seemed to have malfunctioned; he could neither see nor hear anything from the outside world. After some warm fluid gushed out from his burning anus, the pain seemed to lessen. His narrow body no longer made futile resistance to the aggressive intruder; the intestinal walls would contract and relax in coordination, reducing the pain.

All his nerve endings were focused on the swollen, purple penis that she was stroking with her fingertips. His ten fingers, pressed against the ground, pierced through the straw and dug deep into the soil. His glazed eyes looked at Pei Xiaolei, conveying only one signal: he needed release.

Just when he was about to give up hope, the rhythm behind him suddenly intensified, pounding heavily and rapidly against a certain spot. "Ah..." A short, sharp scream escaped his throat. At the same time, the tip of his penis received a cruel stimulation.

He trembled and convulsed a few times, and just when he thought he was about to end his life in this indescribable pleasure, the ropes that had bound him for so long were suddenly released. His body thrust forward violently, and a stream of milky white semen spurted out. He gasped, trembling, and after a few more rhythmic movements, he released some more white fluid intermittently before collapsing, completely exhausted, into Pei Xiaolei's arms…

This story was originally written by someone when they were bored, just for fun~~
This thing was purely created to satisfy someone's own perverse tastes!!!!!
Everyone can just read it casually, no need to take it seriously, and no need to worry about it~~
By the way, pseudo-BL and SM are really hard to write... Just a little sigh! ~~~

Proposal

The warm sunlight streamed in through the open doorway, softly bathing Tang Heng. He fluttered his long eyelashes slightly, opened his eyes, and sat up. A wave of discomfort washed over him; his head ached, his back ached… He glanced around; the place was empty except for a neatly folded stack of blue clothes and a pair of cloth shoes on the pile of straw where he had been lying.

He stared at the items before him, a fear slowly creeping into his heart, tightening its grip.

This couldn't be; she couldn't leave him alone! In a panic, Tang Heng grabbed the clothes and shoes and ran outside, completely unaware of the words written on the ground: “I’m going to find something to eat.”

Pei Xiaolei pulled her skirt high, binding it tightly around her thighs. Her snow-white calves below her knees soaked in the stream. She gripped a sharp wooden fork she'd made, intently watching the water, the fork raised high. Suddenly, a "plop" sounded, and a splash appeared on the surface, followed by a small red dot.

She deftly tossed the large, fat fish she'd caught onto the grassy bank, where several of her fellow fish lay crookedly. Thinking this was enough, she wiped the water droplets from her face, went ashore, dried her feet, put on her shoes, and pulled down her skirt. Then, she called to the sparse bushes behind her, "Don't hide anymore, come out!"

Tang Heng emerged trembling from behind a large tree, clutching his clothes and shoes tightly. His bare feet were covered in mud, his big toenails curled outwards, oozing a little crimson. But this was far less gruesome than the trail of blood that snaked down his snow-white skin between his legs.

Seeing this, Pei Xiaolei frowned, narrowed her eyes, and took a step closer to him. He seemed to sense something as well, clutching his thin coat, squeezing his legs together, taking a slight step back, and taking a deep breath before raising his chin. He looked down at her out of the corner of his eye, offering her the clothes and shoes, then said loudly in a hoarse voice, "I don't know how to wear these!"

Pei Xiaolei looked at the clothes and shoes in front of her, then glanced at the boy with his slightly puffed-out cheeks, and her worries dissipated considerably. Suddenly, she felt a surge of amusement and could

n't help but burst out laughing. "Hey… what are you laughing at!" Tang Heng never expected the woman opposite him to react this way and was momentarily speechless.

"N-nothing… nothing to laugh at…" she finally managed to stop laughing, answering breathlessly. This Tang Prince is really cute, especially when he puffs out his cheeks; his expression is so much like Liu Chen (see Chapter 1), the classmate she used to bully so badly when they were kids in the 21st century. Liu Chen! I wonder how he's doing now! Would he ever think of her? No, no, she quickly shook her head. He didn't remember her at all now. In that world, she had vanished forever, leaving no trace.

"If you don't want to help me, then so be it. There's no need to cry and laugh all the time!" Tang Heng lowered his head to look at her directly, his tone softening slightly as he spoke.

She was crying? She wiped her face and found there was indeed water. Strange! When did she become so sentimental?

"It's stream water, not tears!" She wiped away her tears and widened her eyes! In front of outsiders, she would never admit it, and loudly explained.

Tang Heng didn't dwell on the matter any further and obediently let her pull him to the stream.

Pei Xiaolei took the clothes and shoes from his hands, placed them on the shore, and then pushed him into the water, saying, "Take a bath first. I'll be over there. If you really can't put on your clothes and shoes later, just call me!" Then she took out a bottle of ointment from her pocket, placed it on his clothes, pointed to his buttocks, and said meaningfully, "After you're done washing, remember to use the ointment yourself!" After saying that, she turned around, strung up the fish on the ground with grass, weighed the heavy weight in her hands, squinted her eyes, and walked away with a seemingly satisfied stride.

She built a fire, lit the flames, and the aroma of roasted fish wafted over. Although she didn't prepare as many seasonings as she did when she participated in wilderness survival activities, this natural roasting smell was enough to make her, who had been planning to fast for a long time, drool.

"Come and sit down!" she said, pointing to the pile of grass that had been laid out beside her.

Tang Heng walked over to her side with an awkward gait and slowly sat down. The moment his buttocks touched the ground, his lips tightened and his brows furrowed slightly.

Pei Xiaolei glanced at the boy beside her, whose clothes were tied crookedly, smiled slightly, and handed him a grilled fish, saying, "Try it!"

He took it, ignoring the heat, and bit into it. In no time, the area around him was full of fish bones and fins. "

He can really eat," Pei Xiaolei thought, looking at the only grilled fish left in her hand with a hint of dismay.

"Hey...who are you a maidservant from?" He burped, having eaten too much, and asked the woman beside him.

Maidservant? Pei Xiaolei paused, then looked down at the fabric of her clothes. Although she wasn't very knowledgeable about the market, her silk robes were worth at least half a year's expenses for a middle-class family. In his eyes, she was merely a maidservant. Was his family too wealthy, or was the "Number One Manor Under Heaven" too shabby?

"I'm not called 'Hey' either, I'm called Pei Xiaolei!" Putting aside the issue of wealth, she finally introduced herself to her fellow sufferer,

"Pei Xiaolei, Xiaolei, Xiaolei... I'll call you Xiaolei from now on." Tang Heng repeated it twice before concluding.

"Call me whatever you want, a name is just a title!" After saying that, she squatted down and tied his loose shoelaces, a slightly rapid breathing hovering above her head.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Pei Xiaolei looked up, seeing the boy's face growing increasingly red, and asked her current number one patient with some surprise.

"Nothing!" Tang Heng immediately looked away, avoiding the alluring cleavage exposed by her bending over, and slowly stood up from the ground, moving a little further away.

What an awkward child, Pei Xiaolei smiled, patted her floor-length skirt, and stood up as well. Pointing to the stream, she said, "Where there's water, there are houses! We should follow the stream; we can't go wrong!"

The boy walked ahead of her without a word, his gait a little strange, but his back was very straight.

After a moment, the boy stopped in front of her, as if gathering his courage, and said with his back to her, "After leaving here, I will definitely marry you as my concubine! I will protect you for the rest of your life!"

His slightly wooden voice and his hunched back seemed familiar to Pei Xiaolei, but her thoughts drifted to another distant time and space.

Once, there was a small shoulder that often stood stubbornly in front of her, shielding her from stones and jeers; fighting for her against boys much taller than him, getting injured and bruised; her little fists were actually quite strong, but she never had the chance to use them. Her little tricks were often used on him in the end; he never resisted, and she never hit him hard. After he was adopted, he would secretly run back and give her all the pocket money his adoptive parents gave him; on her birthday, he would run away from home in the middle of the night to an orphanage several kilometers away to sing her a birthday song.

The Liu Chen she used to call a "homebody" when he left the orphanage had grabbed her hands and, in a childish voice, imitated the heroes on TV, promising, "After I leave here, I will definitely marry you! I will protect you for the rest of my life!"

Time seemed to stand still in those words. That silly Liu Chen, that blushing Liu Chen, that Liu Chen who promised her a lifetime, seemed to stand before her now, carrying her on his back, shielding her from all the storms that threatened her.

Seeing that she didn't respond for a long time, Tang Heng turned around, only to see the woman's face streaked with tears.

"What's wrong!" He quickly walked to her and reached out to wipe away her tears.

Pei Xiaolei snapped out of her daze, slightly stepping back to avoid his outstretched hand. She wiped away her tears, forced a smile, and said, "I'm fine, I just suddenly thought of someone I know!"

"Is he someone very important?" he asked, standing beside her.

"Very important! But he's gone!" Pei Xiaolei looked up at the sky, as if to stop the tears from falling.

"I'll take care of you from now on!" Tang Heng walked in front of her, looking earnestly into her eyes. "I won't let you cry!"

Was that... a proposal?

Pei Xiaolei finally understood what Tang Heng meant. Her eyes widened as she looked at the boy before her, her heart skipping a beat. A proposal...

She walked over, patted his shoulder forcefully, and said in a very brotherly tone, "Unfortunately, I already have a husband! You're too late!"

"You...you're already married?" Tang Heng looked at her in surprise, his face turning from red to pale.

"That's right!" she readily admitted, announcing her engagement.

"You're married now, why are you still wearing your girlish hair up like that!" He suddenly roared angrily at her, turning and walking away from her, his footsteps pounding loudly.

She touched her long, flowing hair, somewhat bewildered. Who said you have to wear your hair up after marriage? Her mother had been married to her father for over ten years and had never seen her wear her hair up even once. She herself had been married for ten years, and no one had ever touched her hair. Moreover, in the manor of the most prestigious estate in the world, there were countless women who didn't wear their hair up after marriage!

Author's Note: Thank you so much for your concern, I'm so touched~~~~ I'm not in the disaster area! I'm safe!

Because I was slightly unwell before, I didn't write, and then I caught the Wenchuan earthquake, and my attention was all focused on the disaster, so my mood was very low. I went on a long trip and returned a few days later. When I checked the TV, the death toll had risen to over 30,000… Seeing everyone's concern, I wanted to reply, but since I hadn't updated, I felt bad about disappointing everyone.

The 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, with a magnitude equivalent to 200 atomic bombs hitting the disaster area, was like 200 atomic bombs hitting the heart of every Chinese person. For the past eight days, I believe every Chinese person has been deeply saddened.

In my twenty-odd years, I have never experienced such a massive disaster, such a tragic event, watching the death toll rise from a dozen to over a hundred, then to thousands, tens of thousands! Every cold, hard number increase was a heavy blow to the hearts of the Chinese people!

Those vibrant, innocent faces vanished before our eyes. The elderly, adults, youth, teenagers, children; parents, spouses, children, lovers, friends, neighbors, colleagues; those who were once so close to us, disappeared forever in minutes.
This pain, I think, can never be healed! Most of us, being non-professionals, can only donate some money or blood, using our meager contributions to help them rebuild their homes and recover from the trauma as quickly as possible.

During yesterday's three minutes of silence, the moment I bowed my head, my eyes immediately filled with tears. I've always considered myself a rather cold person, rarely showing my tears. But this disaster has turned me into a real crybaby. Watching videos and photos online, tears streamed down my face! Watching the news on TV, without any emotional manipulation, tears would fall! These past few days, the thing we've used the most at home is probably tissues. I thought I was emotionally fragile, but when I noticed things at work, seeing the photos on Tianya (a Chinese online forum), and seeing the hosts in the videos holding back their tears, my male and female colleagues, some of whom were already in their forties and fifties, had red eyes.

The 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake—the whole nation mourned!

The assassin

walked and walked... At the end of the river, there was no bridge, no houses... only withered vines, old trees, crows at dusk... and that bottomless cliff and the waterfall cascading down three thousand feet! "

I can't take it anymore!" Pei Xiaolei dropped her longsword, plopped down on the ground, and looked at the other side of the river with despair. The winding river stretched endlessly upwards!

She rubbed her stiff, aching calves, took off her shoes, revealing a pair of perfectly shaped feet. Fortunately, foot binding wasn't common in this timeline, allowing the girls here to escape the fate of self-mutilation.

She put her shoes away, dipped her toes into the water, and felt the cool, refreshing current gently patting her feet. Occasionally, a few oblivious fish would dart and play between her feet, sometimes even stealing a few kisses, innocently oblivious to any danger. For the past three days, she had survived on fish from this river, and she was now a veritable fish-killing maniac, her speed and skill sometimes even astonishing herself.

But even the freshest and most delicious fish gets tiresome after so many meals.

"Won't you come and soak in it? It's very comfortable, isn't it?" she said, turning to Tang Heng, who stood a few meters away, and even playfully lifted her foot to show she wasn't exaggerating.

"Hmph..." Tang Heng, who hadn't given her a kind word except for simple responses like "hmph" and "ha" throughout the journey, ignored her and walked towards the shade of a tree. Suddenly,

a loud thud echoed from not far away, followed by the painful groan of the Tang family's eldest son. Pei Xiaolei was startled, slipped on her shoes, and rushed to the scene of the accident. She pulled Tang Heng, who had fallen flat on his back, to his feet, scrutinized his face, and only felt slightly relieved to see he wasn't injured.

"What...what are you looking at? Let go of me!" Tang Heng, his face flushed, pouted and broke free from her grasp, taking a few steps back to keep his distance.

Hmph! Little brat, I'm ignoring him! Pei Xiaolei lowered her head and tugged at the plant root that had tripped Tang Heng. With a sudden pull, she pulled out several huge sweet potatoes from the soil.

Good heavens! Pei Xiaolei almost thanked Tang Heng for his capriciousness—sweet potatoes! Hahaha…she could finally eat something else! At that moment, her stomach also started pounding in agreement. Without further ado, she got to work, quickly digging out about ten sweet potatoes, then immediately called out to Tang Heng, who was nearby, to gather some large clods of dirt. Tang Heng watched her busy work, still giving a sarcastic snort, then feigning reluctance with a sour face, deftly searching for clods of dirt.

They built an earthen fortress, heated the clay clods until they were red-hot, threw in a few sweet potatoes, broke the clods, and covered it up. A few moments later, freshly baked, fragrant sweet potatoes were ready.

So delicious! Ignoring the heat, she picked up a sweet potato with a charred exterior and golden-brown interior, broke it in half, handed one half to Tang Heng who stood silently beside her, staring blankly, and put the other half in her mouth, taking a big bite. The flavor lingered on her lips and teeth. Mmm…it tasted amazing!

Seeing her blissful expression, Tang Heng naturally wasn't going to be outdone. He wolfed down his own sweet potato in a few bites, then started eyeing the other sweet potatoes. After eating so much fish for so many days, he was tired of it.

After eating and drinking their fill, it was time to continue their journey. Although the road ahead was uncertain, no matter what, they had to keep going.

She wrapped a dozen or so sweet potatoes in a cloth and gave them to Tang Heng to carry. The two of them started walking back along the river, one after the other. She couldn't believe there wasn't a single house around such a large river.

But they hadn't gone far when they heard the rapid sound of horses' hooves ahead, followed by billowing dust.

Could it be Neng Shang and the others looking for them? Pei Xiaolei looked up, a flicker of hope in her heart.

No! She frowned. This wasn't them… The sound of hooves grew closer, and the murderous aura emanating from the horses intensified.

"Xiaolei, hurry! They're looking for me!" Tang Heng seemed to recognize something, pulling her along and pushing her into the jungle. He himself ran towards another exposed high ground, clutching a wooden stick, looking resigned to his fate.

"You brat! What are you doing? Run!" Pei Xiaolei chased after him, pulling the fool down, and ran into the jungle.

"Let go of me, run away yourself! They're looking for me! You'll die

if you stay with me!" Tang Heng, with a strength he didn't know he possessed, broke free from her and tried to run towards the other side of the mountain. Even in this life-or-death situation, he was still causing trouble. Pei Xiaolei was furious. She caught up with him in a few strides, grabbed Tang Heng who was still trying to escape, and slapped him hard. "Have you had enough? Since I saved you, I won't let you die so easily again!"

"Let's go!"

Tang Heng was stunned by the stinging slap, and was dragged along by Pei Xiaolei, somewhat dazed.

"Young Master Tang, we've been waiting for you for a long time!" After finally crossing the jungle, they were met by a team of over a hundred assassins.

"Let her go, this has nothing to do with her! I'll go with you!" Tang Heng blocked her way, stubbornly raising his head, still speaking to the masked man sitting on horseback in his usual arrogant voice.

"Hahahaha... Trying to negotiate with me? You? Hahaha... You don't need to come with me, you'll stay here forever!" The masked man on horseback laughed wildly, waving his hand and roaring, "Kill them!" Several burly men behind him immediately jumped off their horses, one of them brandishing a sword and charging at them.

Tang Heng shielded her behind him, drawing her longsword to meet the attack.

Young Master Tang's martial arts were truly pathetic; with their rudimentary skills, they couldn't even withstand three moves. Seeing the blade about to strike him, he didn't even try to dodge! Hey! Hey! Hey! You dodged in the wrong place! You should have dodged to the right! Attack his right flank, why are you attacking his lower body...

I can't take it anymore! Pei Xiaolei charged into the fray. With a swift turn, she used the chaos to parry the blade aimed at Tang Heng. Then, following the direction he turned to strike her, she suddenly dodged and shrugged, grabbing his arm and twisting it with a clockwise over-the-shoulder throw. The burly man screamed and tumbled to the ground. The knife was now in Pei Xiaolei's hand. The several burly men who had been leisurely watching from the sidelines paled upon seeing this and immediately swarmed in to attack.

"Nothing special!" Pei Xiaolei lightly tapped her gleaming white blade with her index finger, smiling as she looked at the masked man on horseback.

"Indeed!" The masked man also smiled at her, completely ignoring his unconscious subordinate lying on the ground.

"Aren't you going to kill them?" the masked man asked casually.

"Too dirty!" she replied indifferently.

"Come with me! I won't kill you!" He looked at her for a moment, then casually began to comb the snow-white mane of his mount, seemingly inviting her surrender.

"No interest!" She gave a faint smile, but her hands gripped the hilt of her sword tightly, stopping Tang Heng from trying to persuade her.

"Since that's the case, send them on their way!" The masked man looked at her, his eyes still smiling, but his words were as sharp as a thousand-year-old ice.

Dozens of burly men jumped off their horses at the same time, surrounding her in groups of three or five. In terms of martial arts and teamwork, these men were much stronger than the previous ones. After a dozen or so rounds, she was already panting, sweat stinging her eyes. Damn it, these men were soldiers.

"Let her go, it has nothing to do with her. If you want to kill someone, kill me!" Unable to break into the battle, Tang Heng charged towards the masked man.

"As you wish!" A sharp blade pierced through the air with a chilling voice.

"You idiot!" Pei Xiaolei swiftly broke through the encirclement with a dagger, but she didn't have time to block with her blade, so she could only use her body as a shield.

The expected pain didn't come; instead, she was pulled into a warm embrace.

"Shang!" She looked at the man holding her tightly, overwhelmed with emotion. Looking around, she realized that Ziye, Ruomei, and a dozen guards from the manor had surrounded her.

She had never felt such intense and close-up killing intent before. Neng Shang silently watched her, carefully checking her until he was sure she wasn't injured, then kissed her forehead and handed her over to Ruomei. He then walked towards the group that had attacked her, the air growing colder with each step.

"Kill him!" Before the man could finish speaking, he was already decapitated, his eyes wide as he stared at his scattered limbs, his face filled with terror and disbelief.

There was a reason why no scholar or warrior in the world dared to oppose the number one manor in the land. Don't even mention the Pei family army, said to be invincible. Even the four adopted sons of the Pei family have never fallen out of the top four of the martial arts rankings. Even Pei Xishan, renowned for his culinary skills, has long held the sixth-place position. If you include the fifth-ranked man, who is now the son-in-law of the number one manor in the world, then all those with the highest martial arts skills belong to the number one manor.

Death is not frightening; what is frightening is who kills you. This is a common saying among martial artists when facing the number one manor.

"Draw your sword!" A blood-dripping sword, dripping with murderous intent, was pointed at the masked man standing amidst a pile of decapitated corpses, yet still wearing a smile.

"Useless, all dead!" The masked man kicked the corpses at his feet and said casually, remaining unmoved by the sword pointed at his head. He simply turned his head and looked indifferently at Tang Heng, who was also being protected in the distance, saying, "If I die, you will never see your parents, siblings, or relatives again!" Neng Shang

narrowed his fox-like eyes, glanced thoughtfully at the masked man, sheathed his sword, and struck him with a palm. As the man coughed up blood, Neng Shang flicked the sword, and the mask split open, revealing an excessively pale and beautiful face.

Upon seeing this, Tang Heng's expression changed drastically. He immediately rushed out, shouting, "No, don't kill him!"

"Brother..." He knelt on the ground, grabbing the masked man's hand, crying in disbelief, "Why? What? You want to kill me? What have you done to my father, mother, and siblings?"

"I'm not your brother!" He disgustedly shook off the man's hand, stood up, and without looking at anyone, limped onto his horse, seemingly speaking to others, yet also seemingly to himself, "I won't let a single member of your Tang family go!"

"Ah...why? Why did this happen?" Tang Heng knelt dejectedly on the ground, watching the horses already far away, and cried out in grief and anger to the heavens.

*******************I am a cj dividing line! Very cj! Very cj! ******************************

“Shang! Do you think it’s just bad luck, or is the security in the territory poor lately?” They had only walked a dozen meters when hundreds of people suddenly appeared ahead, surrounding them completely. Pei Xiaolei found this situation somewhat amusing; her luck had been truly terrible lately, with one bloody incident after another.

“The manager here is no good, we’ll get rid of him later!” Pei Xiaolei completely disregarded the newly appeared enemies, instead childishly trying to negotiate with Neng Shang.

“It’s your decision!” Neng Shang affectionately tapped her nose and smiled. One arm tightened around her slender waist, pulling her close to his body.

She wasn’t afraid of blood, but she hated the enemy’s blood splattered on her. So when she frowned, Neng Shang immediately hugged her tightly and leaped up, placing her high up in a tree several meters high with a wide view.

The enemy's numbers were dwindling rapidly, while their own forces were fighting with ease, even leisurely. From above, it seemed like nothing more than a game of killing and being killed. If, if it weren't for the blinding white light in the distance, she would have been happy to watch the whole thing unfold. Arrows, a dense, swarming line, hidden in the jungle.

"Ziye, let's go!" She jumped down, and Xiao Ziye, who was waiting under a tree, caught her safely. The two immediately ran into the jungle. Tang Heng, who was also under a large tree, saw this and followed.

Sixty…seventy…eighty… There were over a hundred archers lying in ambush nearby, all with their bows fully drawn. It seemed they were prepared to wipe out friend and foe alike.

Pei Xiaolei, who had circled behind them, gestured to Xiao Ziye, picked up a stone, and threw it with a snap against another large rock. The crisp sound startled the archers, who quickly lowered their bows and looked back nervously. The sight of his comrades' blood and their screams was deafening.

"There are only two of them, no, there are three! Everyone, don't panic!" a more alert person shouted immediately. The chaotic crowd began to regroup in an orderly fashion, but unfortunately, the chaos had already attracted the attention of the others, and it was too late for the archers to line up and draw their bows again. There was really no need to fight to the death with fewer troops at this time. The three of them fought and retreated, waiting for reinforcements to arrive. Little did they know that this aimless retreat would drive them to the edge of a cliff.

"Force them down!" someone on the other side shouted loudly. This unexpected gain was like a pie falling from the sky. A group of people immediately attacked again. Ziye was of course no problem, and she was fine too, but Tang Heng was in a bit of a mess. After a few rounds, his body was covered in red and green bruises.

"Watch out!" Pei Xiaolei pushed Tang Heng aside and slashed her knife diagonally, deflecting the knife that was about to strike him.

"You brat, you're asking for it!" Another slash came, and she slightly stepped back, dodging it while pulling Tang Heng away.

"Miss!" A terrified scream rang out. She didn't even know how it happened before she and Tang Heng were both thrown off the cliff by a tremendous force. It turns out

that even transmigrated women can't escape the cliff law—it's true! While enjoying her free fall, she was surprisingly calm. Reading too many transmigration novels really does help improve one's mental resilience.

"Xiao Lei!" Neng Shang watched Pei Xiao Lei fall off the cliff in front of her, her eyes immediately turning red, and she frantically tried to jump down.

"Third Young Master!" The guards immediately rushed forward, holding him tightly. They couldn't stop Xiao Ziye, and they couldn't let the Third Young Master be unable to stop him either!

"Let go!" He roared, his killing intent rising, and the guards surrounding him were immediately knocked back three feet and fell to the ground. He looked at the people around him with red eyes and said, "Those who block my way die!" Then he turned and jumped off the cliff. Suddenly, a shiver ran down his back, and he felt dizzy and weak all over. "Master..." Before he could finish speaking, he was thrown into Ruomei's arms.

"Keep an eye on him!" With that, the newcomer leaped off the cliff.

Ruomei stared dumbfounded at the person who had suddenly appeared, then looked at the group of black cavalrymen behind her who had already cleared the area and were standing in neat rows. A sense of fear crept into her heart.

Young Master, you're here...

The Cliff Bottom

Transmigration Law: The Legend of Immortality. As long as you are a transmigrated woman, as long as you are the protagonist, as long as the author's story is not finished, no matter if you jump off a mountain, a cliff, or the sea, the god of luck will always shine upon you, cherish you, and protect you. Don't even mention death, you won't even get a small scratch. Obviously, this unscrupulous and lazy author has no intention of ending this story yet. Pei Xiaolei still has to be a magnificent, resilient female lead.

Of course, all this good luck only applied to our heroine; the others weren't so fortunate!

Xiao Ziye sat on the ground, clenching his teeth, his face growing increasingly pale, drenched in sweat.

"Ugh!" With a muffled groan, the thick branch, about two fingers wide, that had pierced his thigh, covered in blood and flesh, was suddenly pulled off.

Pei Xiaolei trembled slightly as she dropped the blood-soaked branch, took out a bottle of medicine from her bosom, and poured half a bottle of powder into the wound. The wound was bleeding so much that it washed away most of the powder. She frowned, squeezed out the dirty blood, and took out more powder to pour!

A hand, stained with blood and sweat, covered the bottle opening, stopping her. She looked at Xiao Ziye with suspicion. The man who had been so arrogant just moments before immediately lowered his head, avoiding her questioning gaze, and explained respectfully and humbly, "I'm fine now, please don't waste such precious medicine!"

"No matter how precious the medicine is, it's not as valuable as a human life!" Pei Xiaolei replied, then moved his hand away, too lazy to expose this man who could lie so easily in front of a doctor. She forcefully squeezed out the blood from his thigh, poured the remaining powder onto the wound, and quickly took the strip of cloth Tang Heng handed her, binding it securely. She then took out a bottle from her bosom, poured out a pill, and ordered Xiao Ziye to take it.

"You take one too!" She handed the remaining pill to Tang Heng, who was sitting beside her.

"I don't want it, you take it yourself!" Tang Heng turned his face away, continuing to wipe the deep and shallow wounds on his body covered in dirt with his sleeve, completely ignoring her kindness.

Pei Xiaolei stood up, walked to Tang Heng, grabbed his collar, and said fiercely, "If you're not going to eat it, get out! I don't have the energy to take care of someone who doesn't cherish life!" "

You..." Tang Heng's face flushed red as he looked at her, both angry and furious.

"Eat it!" She slammed the pill into his hand, glaring back at him menacingly. Only after watching him obediently take it did she turn back to Xiao Ziye's side.

Xiao Ziye stared at her, his pale face, flushed from blood loss, probably frightened by her fierce outburst. Only when he noticed Pei Xiaolei looking at him did he realize his overstepping his bounds and quickly lowered his head respectfully. This sudden shock aggravated his lungs, and he immediately coughed lightly, bright red blood spilling from his mouth.

Pei Xiaolei was startled and quickly supported him, half-leaning and half-carrying him to the riverbank, where they sat against a large tree. She gently wiped the bright red blood from the corner of his mouth with a handkerchief dampened with water.

Despite the immense pain in his limbs, Xiao Ziye sat upright, attempting to close his eyes and regulate his breathing. As soon as he stirred his internal energy, a metallic sweetness surged in his abdomen, burning his throat, which he forcefully swallowed. He looked up at the cliff hundreds of meters high above him; carrying the two safely down had already been a struggle. In his current physical condition, it was even more impossible to carry them back up from the bottom of the cliff. Looking at the swiftly flowing river beside him, he knew that the only way out was by water.

"Ziye, you rest for a bit. I'll go find some herbs!" His severe internal and external injuries couldn't be treated with just the pills she carried; the various bruises and cuts on him and Tang Heng required topical application.

"I'll go with you!" Tang Heng immediately limped ahead of her, his delicate face marked with shallow scratches from tree branches, looking quite disheveled.

"No need! You take care of him for me!" She tossed him a thick wooden stick as a weapon for self-defense, instructing him.

"Miss, please don't..." Upon hearing her intention, Xiao Ziye immediately straightened up, leaning against a large tree, struggling to stand.

"Cough cough cough..." Before he could regain his balance, a sudden, sharp pain in his chest triggered a violent cough, and an even stronger, more pungent taste of blood welled up in his throat. He couldn't swallow it in time; the scenery before his eyes blurred, and he lost consciousness.

"Ziye!" Her face changed drastically. She rushed over, steadied him, and helped him slowly sit down. Only after checking his pulse did her anxious emotions gradually calm down. Fortunately, he had only fainted. To protect her, Ziye had practically used himself as a cushion and protective shield, shielding her from anything that could potentially harm her. Such selfless protection was truly touching.

"You take care of him! I'll be back soon!" After entrusting him to Tang Heng, who was no longer arguing with her, she turned and walked into the forest.

********************* I am the dividing line of innocence! Very innocence! Very innocence!

Finding suitable medicinal herbs in the deep mountains and wilderness is not easy. To avoid getting lost, she would stop and make a mark every few steps. After this constant stopping and starting, she finally found all the necessary herbs when the sun set and the afterglow of the sunset painted the sky .

As darkness fell and mist began to rise from the jungle, the path ahead became increasingly difficult to discern. Clutching the herbs, she hurried back, the faint howls of animals behind her sending chills down her spine. She wished she could sprout wings and fly away at the speed of light from this place shrouded in danger.

Suddenly, a large tree ahead crashed down with a loud crack, blocking her path. Just as she was about to detour, a large black bear charged out from directly in front of her, crouching before the broken tree trunk. Its bright black eyes looked up at her, seemingly excited. It stood on its hind legs, brandishing its thick paws like Tarzan, its gaping maw revealing sharp teeth, and let out a deafening roar…

Should she play dead now? Pei Xiaolei stared at the massive black bear before her, at least twice her size, a bittersweet feeling washing over her as she drenched in cold sweat, her hand gripping the small black iron knife tightly.

Lost in thought, a sudden gust of wind ruffled a strand of her dark hair, and an immense pressure filled the air, instantly transforming the gloomy jungle into a sinister and eerie place.

"Who?" she cried, instinctively thrusting her knife towards the source of the pressure.

"Ah..." Her brow furrowed as she felt a light touch on her wrist, instantly leaving her arm weak and powerless. Her prized possession, the small black iron knife, had silently fallen into someone else's hands.

"It's a hairpin, not a dagger!" Her long, flowing hair was simply gathered up, and the previously gleaming black iron knife was now sheathed, concealed as a hairpin within her bun.

"Senior... Senior Brother?" Pei Xiaolei stared in astonishment at the man standing before her, combing her long hair. She could hardly believe that her senior brother, who should have been training troops and fighting battles thousands of miles away, would suddenly appear in this deep ravine and cliff forest, standing before her.

"Awooo... Awooo... Awooo..." The large black bear, which had been excited ever since it saw her, became even more agitated upon seeing its senior brother. Its large, bright black eyes gleamed as it ran and circled them incessantly. When it got excited, it even rolled around on the ground, its previous ferocious demeanor completely gone.

"It..." Pei Xiaolei pointed to the black bear playing happily on the ground and asked Shi Wu.

Upon hearing someone pay attention to it, the large black bear immediately stopped rolling, got up from the ground, its fluffy round ears drooping, and began howling and circling Shi Wu. Its pitiful appearance, waiting for its master's approval, made Pei Xiaolei wonder if it was some stray dog that had accidentally transmigrated.

"A defeated opponent!"...

Upon hearing this, the little black bear's fragile heart seemed to suffer a devastating blow. Its large, black eyes welled with tears as it looked at Shi Wu, howling a few times before running to the foot of a nearby tree and crouching there, facing the wall in sorrow.

"A pet?" Pei Xiaolei couldn't bear it and pretended not to have heard clearly, asking again.

The little black bear's round, furry ears twitched, as if it had heard someone was going to vindicate it. Immediately, it shook off its previous gloom and regained hope, turning around to look at its senior brother with sparkling eyes, full of anticipation.

"A defeated opponent!" Shi Wu didn't even glance at it, coldly reiterating.

The little black bear was dealt another blow, letting out a miserable howl. It pounced on the nearby tree, the branches swaying only twice before the poor tree, which required at least an adult to barely encircle, was innocently uprooted.

"Let's go!" Shi Wu ignored the guy who was destroying the environment, grabbed Pei Xiaolei, and with a few tumbles from the branches, disappeared into the dense forest.

Hearing the intermittent sounds of running and howling in the distance, Pei Xiaolei sighed inwardly.

Alas… another brave warrior, tragically bound to the command of her senior brother.

Zuihua …

about the person who suddenly appeared before them, holding her. Compared to Tang Heng, who flew into a rage the moment they landed, blinded by right and wrong, recklessly charging forward to beat them up, only to be casually tossed aside and dragged several meters away by his senior brother without even a glance, Xiao Ziye remained remarkably calm. He didn't rise to greet them, nor did he show any surprise at their sudden appearance. He simply looked at his senior brother and offered a curt greeting: "Brother Shiwu…!"

Shiwu nodded in acknowledgment, and seeing Xiao Ziye sitting on the ground with blood at the corner of his mouth and a pale face, he already understood. He put Pei Xiaolei down, gave a few quiet instructions, and then strode over to Xiao Ziye. He checked his pulse, frowned slightly, said nothing, and immediately sat down behind him, gathering his energy to strike him on the back. Xiao Ziye's body trembled as he felt a warm current emanating from the Martial Arts Palm, penetrating his clothes and skin and entering his body, gradually suppressing the chaotic internal energy within him…

Pei Xiaolei held a branch to light the fire; the crackling of the flames was exceptionally clear in the quiet darkness. The orange-red firelight illuminated two men sitting cross-legged under the tree, their foreheads covered in sweat, practicing their internal energy to heal their injuries. The flickering firelight danced on their faces. She looked at them, then glanced at the now pitch-black sky, carefully considering the time. Sigh! Three hours had already passed. At this rate, neither of them could withstand it, but she dared not disturb them rashly, and could only sit anxiously to the side.

Tang Heng, whether tamed by his senior brother's throw or something else… After getting up from the ground, he didn't utter another sound, sitting quietly on the other side of the fire. Occasionally, he would look up at his senior brother and Ziye, but most of the time he just watched her silently. No one knew what he was thinking; his expression was gloomy and he didn't look well.

The night was long and heavy…

“Awake?” She opened her eyes groggily, and a deep, resonant voice came from above her.

“Mmm!” She got up from the ground, removing her head from Shiwu's thigh, which had somehow become her pillow, and handed him back the coat draped over her, still sleepy and somewhat languid, as she answered.

The eastern sky was only just beginning to lighten, still overcast, and it was still early; Ziye and Tang Heng were still asleep.

When she returned from washing up, her senior brother had already set up the tools; a plump rabbit was sizzling and emitting a fragrant aroma. " So fast..."

She walked to his side, sat down, picked up a long stick and casually poked at the fire, not saying a word, obediently waiting... waiting to be interrogated by her senior brother.

"Why did you suddenly leave the manor?" Here it comes.

"The herbalists will go find it!" *Clang clang clang*... Instantly, she was caught red-handed!

"But, I wanted to come out and see!" She looked up at him, then said very seriously, "I want to come out and see this land that belongs to me!" Her senior brother could never be kept in the dark.

He paused, a fleeting emotion flashing in his eyes. He seemed to sigh softly, then affectionately patted her head, looking at her again with her long, flowing hair, running around everywhere, and shook his head, scolding her somewhat weakly, "Nonsense!"

“If I didn’t act up, why would my senior brother have called Ziye!” Pei Xiaolei obediently let him style her hair, and then laughed as she took off his card.

“Stubborn as ever, but much more mischievous! Where did that little brat come from?” She changed the subject, pointing to Tang Heng on the ground and asking.

“I picked him up!” she answered, then suddenly raised her chin, pointed ahead, her eyes crinkling with laughter, and added, “He copied you!”

“Awooo…” The large black bear hiding behind the tree, seeing that someone had discovered it, immediately shrank back behind the tree, its half-black body still swaying outside, looking like an ostrich! After a while, perhaps seeing no movement from the other side, and somewhat curious, it cautiously peeked its head out.

Who knew that this furtive peek only made Pei Xiaolei laugh even harder, laughing incessantly, seemingly unstoppable for the time being. Shi Wu glanced at the opposite side, his brow furrowing. He stood up and walked towards the black bear. As soon as Shi Wu noticed it, the large black bear roared loudly, then leaped out from behind a large tree and waddled towards them.

"Senior Brother, don't..." Pei Xiaolei grabbed Shi Wu, who was about to leap forward. "It meant no harm!" Just as she finished speaking, a pile of fruits of various sizes rolled down at her feet. Uh... she stared in surprise at the large black bear that had suddenly vanished from sight. Looking down, she saw it lying flat on the ground, its large, black eyes looking pitifully at her, whimpering softly... It had actually fallen.

She turned back, thoughtfully looking at her senior brother, who had already sat down as if nothing had happened and continued roasting rabbits. Then she looked at the large black bear, which hadn't gotten up but was instead rolling around on the ground, seemingly enjoying itself immensely. She was speechless for a moment.

The black bear's antics would likely wake even the sleepiest person. Xiao Ziye and Tang Heng were quite startled to see a huge black bear causing a ruckus not far away early in the morning. However, upon seeing that the two others, Shi Wu and Pei Xiaolei, who were also up early, were completely unfazed and continued with their own tasks as if nothing had happened, they calmed down. Although, it seemed a bit strange!

**************** Line break, always very innocent! Very innocent! **************

After the senior brother's internal energy healing and channeling last night, Xiao Ziye's injuries had greatly improved, and his internal energy had stabilized considerably. Today, he could regulate his breathing on his own and even stand up and walk a little. However, he still couldn't use his internal energy for the next three days, nor could he overexert himself. Therefore, in order to preserve the integrity and fighting strength of this stranded team, they would have to spend at least the next three days at the bottom of the cliff.

However, in this remote mountain forest, beneath those barren cliffs, what could be more amusing than a big black bear that would occasionally offer you fresh fruit and flowers, and sometimes roll around on the ground with its innocent, gray eyes blinking playfully, trying to amuse you?

Over the past two days, the big black bear had bombarded them with layers upon layers of sweet-talking tactics. However, even Senior Brother Ziye and Tang Heng seemed unmoved, their resolve unwavering. In contrast, our heroine, Pei Xiaolei, who would immediately beam and automatically rush to greet the big black bear with bundles of fruit and flowers, appeared much more swayed, her will so weak it would be blown away by a gust of wind. As the saying goes,

"He who eats another's food is bound to be obliged; he who takes another's gift is bound to be obliged." Holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a banana in the other, Pei Xiaolei, with what she considered impeccable, deeply moving, and heartfelt words, and after several patient and harmonious exchanges, finally made the martial arts-loving senior brother much more amiable towards his super fan who followed him around every day with burning eyes. From then on, the black bear's favorability and admiration for Pei Xiaolei, this friendly human, skyrocketed, and he became even more attentive in offering flowers and fruits. (In fact, basically, from beginning to end, from tail to tail, only Pei Xiaolei appreciated his flowers and fruits).

Of course, after such a magnificent "bear is affectionate, she is willing" mutually beneficial arrangement, it didn't take more than two days for the two of them to become inseparable, like old friends, as if they had known each other for a long time and regretted not meeting sooner, already regarding each other as confidants and old friends who could talk about anything. Although their conversation consisted mostly of phrases like "Aww," "Aww," "Aww..." "Good boy!" "Thank you!" "Great job, roll around again and see..."

But, friends, language isn't a barrier, race isn't a distance, communication is key!

So, upholding the supreme principle of friendship—"sharing joys and sorrows"—on the third day, early in the morning, just as dawn was breaking, while her senior brother went out to find food, and Tang Heng was still drooling and dreaming, she followed this big guy she had renamed "Da Xiong!" The two figures, one big and one small, stealthily and swiftly slipped out to go on a picnic and, incidentally, be a flower thief.

"Viewed horizontally, it's a range; viewed vertically, it's a peak; near and far, high and low, each view is different. I cannot see the true face of Mount Lu, only because I am in the mountain myself." At this moment, perhaps only Su Dongpo's poem "Written on the Wall at West Forest Temple" could accurately describe her feelings. This hidden scenery deep within the cliff is simply breathtaking! Standing before it, words fail to express the awe and wonder. Not to mention the exquisitely crafted little pavilion perched beside the waterfall, its form shrouded in mist, half-hidden in the river. The endless, fiery sea of flowers before her alone was enough to fill her with joy and enchant her soul. Suddenly, a gust of wind arose, and thousands upon thousands of red petals danced in the air, filling the air with their fragrance! Standing there, she couldn't help but open her arms, laughing loudly, running like a joyful butterfly, intoxicated by the dazzling rain of flowers.

Seemingly, after running for a long time, her limbs weary, her eyes tired, she lay down among the flowers, letting the fluttering red petals slowly fall upon her, layer upon layer, intoxicating her increasingly rosy and beautiful face.

The Pleasures of the Bedchamber (Part 1)?

She had a very long dream. In the dream, she cried, but she couldn't remember why she cried. She just cried unrestrainedly, as if she wanted to cry out all the tears she had accumulated in her two lifetimes at once. Various scenes flashed through her mind: the orphanage, the school, Liu Chen, the teachers, the classmates, the few friends she had left...; the number one manor in the world, her father, her mother, her love of martial arts, her skill in medicine, her business acumen, her writing, her love of food, Ruomei... Each scene vividly magnified and became clear before her eyes, then slowly blurred and disappeared... When only a blank space remained in her mind, she was exhausted from crying. The scene changed. This time, she was soaking in a pool of wine filled with the fragrance of flowers, scooping up mouthful after mouthful of wine and drinking it down until she was completely drunk. As they drank, the surrounding temperature rose higher and higher, the wine pool slowly turning into a steamer, and their body temperature climbed accordingly. A tantalizing heat, accompanied by the floral fragrance, seeped into their bodies inch by inch, then slowly spread…

“Xiao Lei…” Her body was gently shaken. “Xiao Lei… wake up!” Then the wetness on her face was wiped away, and she was pulled into a broad, warm embrace. Her ear was pressed against his heart, “thump, thump…” the strong, powerful beating, a very reassuring feeling. Her slightly furrowed brows slowly relaxed, a faint smile curving her lips, and she buried her head against the person who had come.

This voice, this scent, she recognized it—it was her senior brother.

“Xiao Lei!” His voice carried a hint of anxiety.

“Mmm…” she murmured softly, and at his repeated gentle calls, she slowly opened her eyes.

"Senior Brother!" She smiled as she looked at the newcomer. A gust of wind rippled the pool of spring water in her eyes, making it shimmer. She buried her head even more shamelessly in his neck, her warm feminine breath gently brushing against his skin, which was incredibly alluring.

"We have to get out of here!" Seeing that she was awake, Shi Wu immediately changed his position, intending to pick her up horizontally.

"Hmm..." She shifted slightly, seemingly dissatisfied with his actions. Her delicate, beautiful face rubbed against his exposed skin, gently nuzzling it. The cool warmth of his body felt so good, and she wanted more. Her hands honestly slipped inside his clothes, her white hands roaming over his body before moving up his abdominal muscles, finally choosing to tightly embrace his neck. Her own clothes were already half-open and half-off due to these actions, her delicate skin, still fragrant with flowers, pressed against his strong chest, transferring her warmth little by little to him.

She murmured softly, her hazy gaze rippling with emotion, watching him half-asleep. Then, slowly, she approached his half-open lips and kissed him lightly, before nestling in his arms, adjusting to a comfortable position, a smile on her face... and continuing to sleep.

Shi Wu watched with a mixture of amusement and exasperation as Pei Xiaolei peeled away his clothes layer by layer, openly harassing him in broad daylight. After arousing his weak will, she turned away, her face becoming innocently pale, sleeping like a baby.

A breeze stirred, and countless red petals, carrying a rich fragrance, swirled and danced freely in the air, a few landing on Pei Xiaolei's delicate face.

Shi Wu picked one up, placing it in his palm, a glint of light flashing in his eyes as he pondered silently.

Who could have imagined that the "Intoxicating Love," a priceless flower in the outside world, the most potent aphrodisiac, the catalyst for "Morning Sun," this famously rare, difficult-to-find, difficult-to-cultivate, and difficult-to-grow rare flower, would be found here, blooming everywhere.

The fragrance filled his nostrils, and a strange flutter stirred in his chest.

He composed himself, glanced at the faintly visible pavilion in the water in the distance, embraced Pei Xiaolei, and with a light leap, disappeared from the captivating sea of flowers in an instant!

The pavilion in the water. Inside the private room.

Shi Wu placed Pei Xiaolei on the bed, pulled down her hands tightly wrapped around his neck, and straightened her half-open clothes.

She was still fast asleep, a slight blush on her fair face, her graceful lines rising and falling with her breath. Shi Wu leaned down, his fingers tracing patterns on her delicate, rosy face; his slightly warm body ignited a flame in the still pool.

"Senior Brother..." She had woken up sometime earlier, her mouth slightly open, looking at the man sculpting her face before her. His handsome face was serene and composed, his dark eyes deep and unfathomable, a few strands of black hair falling naturally across his forehead, his half-open chest revealing strong male muscles... giving him an astonishingly masculine aura. Her heart pounded.

"Senior Brother..." Seeing that he didn't respond, she grabbed his hand, put a finger in her mouth, and gently teased and sucked it.

Shi Wu was startled by her sudden action, his heart skipped a beat, and for a moment he forgot to react. His chaotic thoughts stared at her, his eyes burning with fire, scorching and melting away the last line of defense in his heart, a suffocating heat.

"Husband..." she called again, her hands already clinging to him, her eyes, intoxicated, like a pool of spring water. Their eyes met, and the ripples of passion intoxicated him completely.

"Wife..." he smiled, whispering in response, and opened his mouth to take her still somewhat awkward kiss.

The kiss deepened, accompanied by the rapid breathing of the man and woman and the rustling of their clothes falling to the ground.

When they had to separate due to lack of oxygen, their naked bodies were intertwined on the bed.

She rose, panting slightly, and straddled his waist, her already erect breasts trembling slightly in the air, her pink, round nipples tingling with a slight ache.

She knew what her body desperately craved, and he knew how to give it to her.

He sat up, and she slid off his waist, pressing down on his hot, large member. He winced in pain, and she tried to roll over, but was pulled back down, almost landing on her senior brother's manhood again. Just as she was about to hit the ground, a male hand firmly supported her white buttocks.

"Where do you want to go? Hmm?" His lips moved to her neck, gently nibbling and kissing, asking in a low voice.

"I... umm..." A shiver ran through her, and she gasped before she could answer. The hand that had been supporting her buttocks had moved to her pubic area. She quickly knelt down, climbing on top of him, supporting her weight, and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, truly afraid that if she weren't careful, her legs would give way and she would break her senior brother's manhood.

Shi Wu seemed to have guessed her little thoughts, chuckled softly, his eyes filled with pleasure, and his fingers brazenly dug into the pubic area, two fingers hooking into the warm, pink layers, gently rubbing, parting the increasingly hot petals to reveal the gently trembling, protruding pink clitoris. His thumb probed in, pressing and rubbing, slowly drawing circles along the thin, tender skin of the clitoris.

All her attention and every nerve in her body seemed to be focused on the point under her senior brother's fingertip, her body jumping up, restless and hot, her rosy lips half-closed, breathing sweetly against his chest, her eyes darting around.

Shi Wu lifted her head, which was buried against his chest, and kissed her again, his heavy masculine breath spraying between her lips and teeth. Before she could even savor the moment, her clitoris was suddenly pressed down hard, sending a jolt of electricity through her body. "Ah..." She convulsed, instinctively trying to tighten her private parts, but it was too late. Shi Wu had already penetrated her forbidden zone with two fingers. Although her vaginal opening couldn't stop the forceful insertion, the flesh inside was uncooperative, the hot inner walls squeezing the intruder, trying to push him out little by little.

"Relax!" He stirred his fingers, completely ignoring her weak resistance, slowly pushing deeper inside.

Her body knew the potency of "Chaoyang" (a type of herbal medicine), and was even more acutely aware of the effects of its catalyst, "Siqingzui" (another herbal medicine). As the effects of the large amount of floral fragrance and pollen she inhaled gradually took hold, her previously dry passage began to secrete copious amounts of thick, slippery love fluid, clearing a path for the intruder. After only a few rounds of thrusting, his fingers were already moving in and out with ease, their fingertips smeared with the scent of a woman's desire.

With each intrusion and churning within her more intense, she involuntarily raised her hips, her body rising and falling in rhythm with the movements of his ruthless fingers. Her eyes were half-closed, her breathing erratic, her thoughts slowly blurring, and her self-control beginning to crumble.

It wasn't enough; this was far from enough to relieve the heat and emptiness within her body, her body warning her brain, which had little willpower left.

"Husband!" She pressed against his chest, biting his nipple, lightly licking away a drop of salty sweat from his genitals, then looked up at him, her gaze filled with a mixture of ripples and hunger.

"Mmm!" He responded unsteadily to the sudden wave of tingling sensation, his deep eyes already ablaze with desire. He cupped Pei Xiaolei's flushed, burning face, lowered his head to kiss her, and together they pressed down onto the bed.

Bedroom Pleasures (Part 2)

"Husband!" She pressed against his chest, biting his nipple, lightly licking away a drop of salty sweat from the tip, then looked up at him with a gaze that was three parts ripples, three parts thirst.

"Mmm!" He responded unsteadily to the sudden wave of tingling sensation, his deep eyes already ablaze with desire. He cupped Pei Xiaolei's flushed, burning face, lowered his head to kiss her, and together they pressed down onto the bed.

But now, Miss Pei was bolder. Instead of being subdued, she pushed Shi Wu away, kneeling with her slender waist arched, looking at him with seductive eyes, her delicate fingers tracing his face, a bewitching smile on her lips.

Shi Wu watched her quietly, silent, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of his mouth.

"You are mine!" she said, lowering her head to kiss him, her pearly teeth lightly biting his upturned lips, her voice muffled as she continued, "I want to devour you." Then, her nimble tongue invaded his mouth, sweeping over every soft inch of his oral cavity. The light touch of those tender, smooth spots sent shivers down his spine. Her kiss was subtle, intimate, and highly provocative, determined to leave him breathless.

At first glance, it really did seem quite convincing! Having remained unmoved, letting her frolic, Shi Wu pursed his lips. Seeing that she had played enough, he pressed one hand against the back of her head, his long tongue, which had been waiting patiently in his mouth, immediately entwined with hers, refusing to let go. His thin lips pressed tightly against her rosy lips, leaving no gap, his breath mingling with hers. Under such wild and domineering sucking and biting, she, who had been in a superior position just moments before, immediately collapsed like a house of cards. There was no escape; she could only submit to his every whim. Her previous domineering aura had vanished completely. When General Shi Wu finally withdrew from her lips, she was panting heavily, her face burning red. One hand pressed against her wildly pounding heart, unable to calm down for a long time.

"Good!" Shi Wu picked up a strand of hair that had fallen across her forehead and placed it back on her shoulder.

"Okay?" She looked up, confused.

"You'll devour me!" He leaned close to her earlobe, his deep eyes gleaming with an unreadable light, and whispered. His large hand pulled her trembling small hand to his firm chest and abdomen, moving down her skin until it covered his massive, burning-hot member. She was startled and instinctively tried to pull her hand away, but she couldn't break free from his warm, large hand. The more she moved, the tighter her hand clung to him. She could clearly see the veins bulging on his member.

With a whoosh, she snapped awake. The low, even gentle, words sounded dangerous to her.

She shook her head, trying to deny it, but the words she'd just spoken were like spilled water—they couldn't be taken back.

"Scared?" Shi Wu teased, kissing her brow. With a flick of his hand, he swept a small pot of wine across the table, took a sip himself, leaned down, and kissed her lips, slowly transferring the wine from his mouth to hers. The wine was strong, with a familiar, rich floral fragrance—it was "Intoxication of Yearning."

Pei Xiaolei had only heard of this flower, but had never actually seen it, and naturally had no idea that she was now standing on a foundation of millions of taels of gold, drinking a priceless treasure. "Intoxication of Yearning," besides being an aphrodisiac, was also extremely nourishing. Even in the inner palace, this kind of wine was only offered on the occasion of the emperor's wedding.

After just a few sips, Pei Xiaolei's body immediately felt like it was burning in a fire, slowly melting away the last shred of sobriety she had managed to regain. Her alluring eyes were half-closed, the clarity within them gradually disappearing, replaced by a pair of watery, cat-like eyes, exuding indescribable charm and allure. The

burning male symbol in her hand grew even stronger and harder, no longer able to be held in one hand.

"Eat me!" Shi Wu pulled away from her small mouth, his voice laced with a seductive wickedness.

A wisp of wine's fragrance lingered on her lips as he left. "Okay!" She smiled slightly, sticking out half of her tongue to gently lick away the lingering aroma. Her other hand reached down, grasping his thick, long member with both hands. One hand slowly rubbed it up and down, while the other pinched his swollen tip, her thumb pressing against the translucent, delicate skin at the tip, giving it a mischievous flick.

"Mmm!" The man, who was sucking and biting her breast, groaned, looking up at her with even greater fire in his eyes.

She pouted playfully at him, giving him a seductive wink, straightened her body, took a deep breath, and, holding the large, purple member in her hand, aimed it at her entrance, slowly sitting down. The narrow, tight passage swallowed and released the large member raised in her hand inch by inch. She thought that her body had already been aroused by Shi Wu, and with the aphrodisiac "Thoughts of Love," it would be moist and lubricated, making penetration easy.

But...

it was huge. She leaned back slightly, one hand tightly gripping Shi Wu, the other holding the enormous penis between her legs, pressing down little by little. Her passage contracted and expanded rapidly, seemingly greedily welcoming her, yet also forcefully pushing and squeezing, stuck in the middle, neither going in nor out. Several slow advances and retreats failed to take it all in, and the tight inner walls were already showing a slight tearing pain. Fine sweat broke out on her flushed body.

Finally, somewhat frustrated, she looked at the silent Shi Wu and pitifully pleaded for help, "Husband..."

Before she could finish speaking, she suddenly cried out, feeling her body suddenly tilt to one side, and Shi Wu immediately pressed her down beneath him. With the force of the thrust, the enormous penis suddenly plunged into her narrow passage, penetrating all the way in, causing her to spasm and feel a sharp pain.

With a bang, the tightly closed door was flung open, and she didn't even have time to see who this reckless intruder was. She only heard the man on top of her wave his hand and roar, "Get out!" with murderous intent, before the door slammed shut again. Then, a splash—something seemed to have fallen into the water.

"Senior Brother!" she suppressed the turmoil within her and asked the man on top of her in a trembling voice, "Should we go check?" She seemed to have heard Da Xiong's scream from the water.

"Don't worry about it, it won't die!" Shi Wu seemed still angry, his voice harsh. He turned her distracted face, lowered his head, and kissed her deeply, kissing her until she was dizzy and disoriented, before assuring her, "Don't worry!"

"Oh..." she answered blankly. Then, "Ah..." she gasped in surprise as the man spread her long, slender, white legs wide apart!

Her breathing was unsteady, her gaze unfocused as she looked at the man before her, watching him withdraw from her body. Her passage, suddenly forced open by this large, hot object, contracted rapidly, opening and closing, trembling as the weapon slowly withdrew. The tight inner walls pressed against the bulging veins of his manhood; this intimate friction between their bodies burned her face and scalded her heart. The

man slowly withdrew his engorged member from her tight, aching body, not in a hurry to immediately penetrate, but instead spreading her legs wider to adjust their position. Her not-yet-fully-closed pink flower was clearly exposed before him, the crimson petals trembling slightly, the round, swollen clitoris swaying gently. The flower, already somewhat disheveled from his earlier penetration, opened and closed, releasing a few drops of clear, slippery love fluid, exuding a strong scent of lust and wetting the surrounding hair.

He lowered his head, tightened his grip on Pei Xiaolei's slender waist, and bit down on her alluring, rosy nipple.

"Mmm...ah...no!" she cried out, trying to close her legs tightly, but it was too late. Her legs were firmly held in place, and no matter how hard she struggled, it was futile. Her private, sensitive area was being devoured bit by bit by the man.

"Ah...no...Senior Brother...hmm...no...ah...ah ah..." She tilted her head back, arched her body, and sobbed intermittently, begging for mercy. "Ugh..." A gentle bite was taken at her protruding spot, her clitoris was lightly licked by the tip of his tongue, and then a sudden thrust sent a jolt of electricity through her. She screamed again, gripping the sheets tightly with both hands. Her legs, pressed and spread apart, could not escape his grip. Her muscles tensed, her toes spread, enduring wave after wave of impacts.

"No more, Senior Brother, um...really...ah...no...I don't want it anymore..." she cried, her voice trembling uncontrollably.

There was no answer, only the man's heavy breath spraying closer and closer onto the tender flesh of her wide-open lower body.

His tongue, like a nimble little snake, pressed against the entrance of her slightly parted passage, not penetrating, but teasing it lightly and heavily around the opening, occasionally licking in halfway, slipping into the thirsty mouth, only to retreat just as her little mouth tried to devour more. This stirred a tingling emptiness within her, an unbearable craving.

Compared to her stubbornness, her body was much more honest. If the enemy didn't move, she would. Her body responded to the teasing of his tongue, rising and falling in response, each thrust more urgent than the last.

"Ah...ahhh...no...um...ah!" Suddenly, his tongue plunged into her body, licking and sucking the surface of the passage with meticulous detail. A wave of overwhelming pleasure washed over her, she gripped his shoulders tightly, her body tense, breathing heavily, a few rapid spasms, and then a gush of warm, clear liquid shot out from deep within her. She lay flat on the bed, her breathing shallow and disordered, her legs weakly flexed. Head tilted back, she gazed at the exquisitely carved beams of the roof. She had no mind to ponder where she was, or why such a uniquely beautiful house existed in this remote mountain village. She could only cover her eyes with her hands, afraid to let her senior brother see her like this. But the man's every small gesture, as he roamed over her, made her mouth betray her heart, eliciting soft, broken moans.

" What are you thinking about?" Shi Wu lifted his head from her, pulling Pei Xiaolei's hands away and forcing her to look at him. "Nothing!" She looked away, still unable to meet his gaze—so embarrassing. "Really?" He casually pecked at her nipple, a smile playing on his lips. It was fake… she, she, she actually…actually…got so high… ah…let her die, she's too ashamed to face anyone. “Then, Madam… let’s… continue!” He smiled, not exposing her, and affectionately kissed away the tears welling in her eyes, speaking softly and coaxingly as if nothing had happened. A large hand probed into her already wet, swollen, and limp lower body, forcing its way into the closed, warm crevice, rubbing and probing deeply and shallowly. His mouth continued to move to her high, full breasts, his tongue licking around the pink nipples, then biting down and sucking hard. “Mmm! It hurts… mmm… ahh…” She, who had been somewhat listless, was overwhelmed by the pain and pleasure of his biting and sucking on her already full and swollen breasts, and all her low spirits vanished. Just as she was about to push away the man who was pressing against her chest, thinking that he was a man who would “take her as his mother”, he suddenly stopped sucking, looked up, and quietly gazed at her, his eyes burning with a fierce fire. “Let’s get started!” The man’s lips curled into a smile, and he pressed his entire body against her. Before Pei Xiaolei could react to those words, both her legs were lifted high, one draped over the man's shoulder, the other bent and hooked around his waist. His large, burning member pressed against her swollen entrance, her already wet, pink lips tightly engulfing the half-entered tip. The iron-like member, several sizes larger than before, slowly entered. This time, he encountered no resistance; her tender, slippery inner walls, with each thrust, devoured him, like a thousand tiny mouths greedily sucking and nibbling at him. The woman beneath him, her eyes half-closed, looked at him with a mixture of innocence and allure, her lips slightly parted, her face flushed, her soft body arching and trembling with each thrust. Her moans, high and low, were a hundred times more potent than any intoxicating love song to him. "Madam..." he said, tightening his embrace around her slender waist and gently kissing her forehead. Then, lifting her buttocks, aiming at the swollen entrance, he thrust in forcefully, the hard, enormous penis penetrating her body, deeper, harder, and more wildly than ever before, plunging straight into her uterus. He quickly pulled back, then thrust in even more violently… “Ahhh… um… no… stop… stop… ah… ha…” she stammered, pleading incoherently, tears welling in her eyes. Her slender fingers gripped his shoulders tightly, knuckles white, nails digging deep into his flesh. Her two long, jade-like legs, raised high, swayed helplessly in the air. Her entire body was flushed and burning, drenched in sweat, her lower abdomen heaving rapidly, even her fingertips trembling. A certain area was a mess of red and purple, wet and swollen, her swollen, soaked vagina gaping, greedily and desperately devouring the seemingly insatiable, rampant, and arrogant enormous penis that had entered her. Pei Xiaolei tilted her head back, her eyes misty with tears, sometimes screaming uncontrollably, sometimes moaning softly! Her body floated like a duckweed in water, rising and falling with each increasingly intense, frenzied, rapid, and deep thrusts of the man on top of her! Layers of pleasure piled up on her body, the white-hot ecstasy like a giant tsunami crashing against her flesh, sweeping away all her senses. ... She had no sound, no strength left, even breathing had become a luxury, her heart pounding rapidly and heavily, as if it were about to explode. She tried to turn her head towards the window, wanting to see the sky outside. "It's Xu Shi (7-9 PM)!" the man said, turning her over and whispering in her ear. Oh... so it's already Xu Shi! No wonder it's so dark. "Hungry?" The man nuzzled against her back, his newly grown stubble tickling her. "Or sleepy?" "Both... I am!" She opened her mouth, managing to utter two hoarse, broken words. Four hours had passed, eight hours! How could she not be hungry and sleepy? Lovemaking was physically demanding. He chuckled softly, feeding her a pill to replenish her energy. He groaned, thrusting rapidly a few times behind her before reluctantly withdrawing, a long white thread trailing from his dark tip. As soon as he left, a large amount of sticky, milky-white fluid gushed down her pale thighs. She didn't want to move, nor did she have the energy. She closed her eyes, a satisfied smile unconsciously playing on her lips. Finally, she could sleep peacefully. Author's Note: Phew~~~ Finally, I finished this chapter! (So tired~ I'm collapsing~~~) Seriously, hhhhh, it's really, really, really hard to write~~~~ I have so much respect for those authors who can write tens or hundreds of thousands of words at a time! (You guys are amazing!) Why is it that I've only just started with 70,000 words and every single word feels so difficult! Where is my motivation? Where is my passion? Come here! The faint scent of sandalwood lingered in the air around the attic owner . Was it already dawn? Pei Xiaolei opened her eyes sleepily and looked out the window. The sun was already high in the sky. She had slept for so long, and although she was full of energy, her body was still exhausted. She moved, and a wave of soreness washed over her, making it hard to straighten her back. She slowly groped her way up and realized that she had already washed herself, and the marks on the bed had been cleaned up. But the bright red and purple hickeys on her body were so vivid, clear, and blatantly telling her how real the intense lovemaking that had almost taken her life yesterday was. A light purple summer dress lay folded beside the bed. She paused, picked it up, and unfolded it. It was a set of excellent quality women's clothing, still faintly smelling of sunshine, giving off a warm feeling.

This was a house of exquisite craftsmanship, yet remarkably simple interior. Aside from the large, two- or three-meter-wide ebony carved wooden bed beneath her, the spacious room contained only a square table against the wall and next to the bed, and two stools. On the table sat a beautifully crafted long wooden box and a bowl of rice porridge, steaming gently and still warm to the touch. On one stool was a bowl of water, and on the other were toiletries.

She slowly dressed, washed, and ate. Feeling listless, she became curious about the beautiful long wooden box on the table. Picking it up, she found it unlocked. Opening it, she found a scroll inside. Unfolding it, she saw a story stretching for dozens of meters. The first part depicted their first meeting in the forest, where they both studied under the same master. He learned martial arts, she cultivated medicine; they were childhood sweethearts, innocent and carefree. The second part showed him, young and impetuous, and her, ambitious and spirited, bidding farewell to their master and embarking on a journey through the martial world together

. In the middle section, he reigns supreme in the martial arts world, she is renowned throughout the land, yet they stand apart, each in their own corner, silently gazing at the other. In the next section, he kills, she protects; a single blow strikes, he regrets, she grieves, forever becoming strangers. She is married, he is unmarried, year after year, they meet only once a flower blooms! In the final section, on a green hilltop, after dusk, two lonely graves stand. At the end of the section, the author's last signature is Ling Han, painted in the winter of the thirtieth year of the Wanli reign. I put the scroll away, but my heart remained unsettled for a long time. Ling Han, the former leader of the martial arts alliance, my mother's senior brother, my father's lifelong rival. Five years ago, in the autumn of the thirtieth year of the Wanli reign, she hastily married; in the winter of the thirtieth year of the Wanli reign, my mother died, and the next day, my father committed suicide. On the day of the burial, my mother's body, heavily guarded, suddenly vanished into thin air. She exhausted all the resources of her entire sect, both overt and covert, searching everywhere, digging almost three feet into the ground, but still found no trace of her. So, her mother was buried here. Pei Xiaolei put the box back, took a deep breath, and calmed herself. Leaning on the table, supporting her aching body, she leaned against the wall, her steps unsteady, and slowly walked towards the door. In the corner by the door, a bunch of withered flowers lay scattered. She bent down to pick them up, feeling a sense of familiarity with their shape. But before she could think further, the sound of splashing water outside distracted her. Looking up, she saw Shi Wu, agile and nimble as a dragon, cutting through the waves. His tall, handsome figure plunged into the water, disrupting the lake's tranquility and stirring her own heart. "Awake?" With a thud, Shi Wu was already up in the water, picking up a long robe from the ground, casually draping it over himself, and quickly walking to her. He reached out a large hand to support her as she swayed. His long, black hair was still dripping wet, glistening droplets sliding down his firm skin and disappearing into his clothes. Under the sunlight, his masculinity was even more pronounced. He was a man more manly than any other man. She leaned against him, inhaling the cool moisture emanating from his body through her thin robe. "Yesterday, I was too reckless; I've exhausted you!" He pulled her to sit down by the water. "Mmm..." She paused, realizing the implication in his words, her face immediately turning bright red, as if burning with fire. With nowhere to escape, she could only surrender, burying herself in his arms, gently shaking her head in denial. Shi Wu's gaze softened, and he lowered his head to lovingly kiss her forehead, holding the woman nestled in his arms tightly. They sat quietly, watching the ripples on the water. A gust of wind blew, lifting a strand of her hair and disturbing the tranquility. "I never imagined this was my master's residence!" she exclaimed, breaking the silence. Although she had never met the man who had accidentally injured her mother, she still had to address him as "master" out of courtesy, since her mother had never truly hated him. Only, she no longer loved him. Shi Wu looked at the distant hillside and said calmly, "I was also surprised! I never imagined my master's wife was buried here. I had planned to bring you here to pay your respects another day, but that black bear was so clever, taking you to that flower field of intoxicating romance." "Da Xiong? Could Da Xiong also be my master's pet?" she interrupted, startled, asking curiously. She didn't quite believe that such an incredibly intelligent black bear was naturally sculpted. “Yes! It’s a black bear that knows martial arts,” Shi Wu said, an answer that instantly brightened her mood. “A kung fu black bear?” Wow! Her curiosity exploded. “You two sparred? How good was its martial arts?” She shook his arm, excitedly asking. “Not good, a defeated opponent!” he replied. …She was speechless. Senior Brother, please tell me, who isn’t your defeated opponent? What’s your standard for “how good”? After a round of fooling around, she closed her eyes, letting the warm sunlight bathe them, warm and comfortable. Her fingers unconsciously twirled the light summer shirt she was wearing, purple, her mother’s favorite color. The box of memories opened, and bits and pieces of the past flooded her mind. She remembered that since she was old enough to understand, her mother would leave the manor once a year, without any guards, going alone. When she returned, besides bringing various precious medicines, she would hide in her room, refusing to see anyone for three days and three nights. During this time, her father would guard her outside, rain or shine, never leaving her side. As she grew older, she learned that the person her mother went to see was her senior brother, a legend in the martial arts world, the former leader of the martial arts alliance—Ling Han, the only man who could rival her father. But this man, at the pinnacle of fame, fortune, and power, suddenly vanished from everyone's sight, as cleanly and decisively as if he had never existed in the martial arts world. Her mother, her father, Ling Han—these three renowned figures, revered as legends—what kind of story was intertwined? She didn't want to know, nor did she want to investigate. Who could truly understand the truth and falsehood of love in this world? What was there to speculate about? Who was whose poison, who was heartbroken for whom? After youth fades, life ends, vanishing from the world. "Xiaolei!" He stroked a strand of her hair that danced in the wind, tucking it behind her ear, pulling her back to reality, and said, "Tomorrow, we'll go pay our respects to Mother and Master!" "Okay!" She smiled, clearing her mind of all her thoughts, and leaned against him, nestled in his arms. A wave of weariness washed over her, and she yawned softly; she was utterly exhausted today. "Go back and sleep a little longer," he smiled, lowering his head to lightly touch his lips, and said, "You're too tired!" "Mmm!" she murmured, closing her eyes as Shi Wu picked her up. "Awooo... awooo..." Just then, a familiar howl rang out. She looked up sharply and saw a huge black bear running towards them on the small bridge connecting the pavilion and the riverbank. It held a bunch of flowers in its mouth, stopped in front of them, and seeing the two of them embracing again, it lowered its round head, its large, dark eyes first curiously glancing left at Pei Xiaolei, then right at Shi Wu. Suddenly, as if remembering something, he leaped up from the ground with a whoosh, spun around twice, then covered his eyes with his hand and plunged into the water with a "plop," creating a huge splash. His clumsy body swam towards the opposite bank as if fleeing for his life. Pei Xiaolei watched Da Xiong swim further and further away, feeling both amused and exasperated. She glared at Shi Wu with feigned anger in her sleepy eyes, a look that, to Shi Wu, was exceptionally cute and alluring. He used the opportunity to offer her Da Xiong's flowers, bringing his head close to her ear, his breathing heavy, "Don't tease me!" "I didn't!" Pei Xiaolei exclaimed in surprise, immediately retorting. Clutching the flowers tightly in her hands, she looked at him warily, her round, watery eyes filled with fear, appearing quite pitiful. Shi Wu laughed heartily, pulled her close, and strode into the room. 03-07 Unwinding Skills

Pei Xiaolei lay on the bed, holding the flower in her hand, turning it over and over, smelling it. For some reason, she felt the flower looked familiar; she wondered where she had seen it before. Red leaves, purple stems, thick foliage, trumpet-shaped flowers, pearl-like seeds—she described the light blue flower in her hand in four words.

"Ah…it's a purple-blue flower!" Suddenly, she exclaimed, jumping up from the bed. Her sudden cry made Shi Wu, who was about to leave, stop in his tracks.

"What's wrong?" he asked with a smile, his eyebrows curved, clearly infected by the joy of the woman who had suddenly jumped into his arms.

"It's the antidote!" Pei Xiaolei beamed, looking up at Shi Wu and sharing her surprise with him. "This purple-blue flower is the one mentioned in the Western Poison Evil Man's notes. Besides being able to cure all kinds of strange poisons, it can also neutralize his strange and domineering martial arts! This purple-blue flower blooms once every fifty years and bears fruit once every fifty years." She then held it up high to show it off.

"Oh?" Shi Wu, hearing that this excessively brightly colored flower was so miraculous, took one from Pei Xiaolei and examined it carefully. Then, looking down at her radiant, rosy face, he said, "This flower is good, but if it's not taken in time, it will wither quickly!" He pointed to several withered purple-blue flowers lying on the ground nearby, their shapes unrecognizable. These must have been brought over by Da Xiong yesterday.

"Yes!" She nodded, immediately snapping back to reality. She snuggled out of his arms, sat back on the bed, and looked at the flower in her hand, silently pondering how to eat this purple-blue flower. Should she eat it raw? Or boil it into a soup?

"This flower should be edible directly!" Shi Wu sat down beside her and patted her head. It turned out she had unknowingly read her thoughts aloud!

"How so?" Pei Xiaolei looked up at him, her eyes sparkling, eager to learn.

"There are bite marks on it!" He handed her a purple-blue flower, pointing to a small notch on the petal. Upon closer inspection, it was easy to see a row of faint animal teeth marks on the small opening.

"Really!" She took it and immediately smiled; indeed, there were teeth marks.

"Then I'll eat it, okay?" Pei Xiaolei looked at Shi Wu. Now that the question of how to eat it was resolved, she should have felt relieved. But suddenly, she felt a little uneasy. Perhaps it was because of something she had been searching for for so many years without finding a trace. Suddenly one day, when you least expect it, it arrives at your doorstep, packed and ready. Things are going too smoothly; it feels almost unreal!

Nothing to worry about, she patted her chest, encouraging herself. She was the legendary resilient transmigrator, having fallen from such a high cliff without losing a single hair—the author clearly favored her. How could they possibly let her fall for a little wildflower? Yes! Have confidence in yourself!

"Then I'm going to start eating!" Pei Xiaolei took a deep breath, her bright, mischievous eyes fixed on Shi Wu, and announced loudly.

"Okay!" Shi Wu looked at her and nodded.

She picked up the largest purple-blue flower, brought it to her lips, parted her pink lips, and bit down with her pearly teeth. A faint, grassy sweetness entered her tongue. She bit down a little more, more sweetness entering her mouth. She smiled; not bad, the taste was alright. Thinking this, she ate the whole flower bite by bite, and as she ate, she felt a little unsatisfied, reaching out to grab another one. Her outstretched hand was intercepted by a large hand and then taken into its palm.

"One is enough! How are you feeling? Is anything bothering you?" Shi Wu pulled her close, asking urgently, his cold face showing an indescribable seriousness.

"Hmm, I'm fine! I'm great! And the flower tastes quite nice, sweet and pleasant!" she replied with a smile, secretly relieved. Seeing that Shi Wu's face was still tense, she jumped off the bed, enduring the soreness in her limbs, and kicked a few times on the floor, turning around twice to show that she was healthy. But as she kicked, Shi Wu, who had been watching her intently, slowly darkened, then suddenly turned ashen.

"What's wrong?" Pei Xiaolei asked curiously, looking at the man whose expression had suddenly changed. As she opened her mouth, a warm liquid seemed to flow from the corner of her lips. She wiped it with her hand, and a glaring scarlet stain covered her fingers. She looked up at the man opposite her, a man known for his composure and calmness. A slight, self-deprecating smile played on her lips as she spoke clearly, word by word, "Looks like my luck isn't so good!" Her body went limp, collapsing into the arms of the martial arts enthusiast before the next wave of crimson blood washed over her.

Her body was in turmoil, several powerful currents of energy surging through her limbs, causing her to feel alternating chills and fever.

"Xiaolei, wake up!" someone called anxiously. She slightly opened her eyes, her eyelids heavy. Looking at the man before her, whose eyes were bloodshot, she reached out to grab him, but a burning sensation in her abdomen caused her to cough up blood again.

"I'm fine!" she said, leaning against his blood-stained chest, forcing herself to speak, a lie that wouldn't fool anyone. Internal energy flowed continuously into her back, only to be repelled each time, while the currents of energy within her grew increasingly chaotic. This is terrible. It's a thousand times worse than when she was sick before her soul was restored. Before she could even utter a second word of comfort, her mind went blank, her body went limp, and she felt dizzy again.

She was slowly laid on the bed, her clothes being undone piece by piece. The man's trembling hands roamed over her body, followed by the rustling sound of clothes falling to the floor. The man's body heat pressed against her…

*********I am a CJ's dividing line★CJ's figure★CJ's weight★CJ's appearance★Always CJ★Forever CJ! ********

Her body was hot, her blood was boiling, but her heart was cold. She was burning with fever, yet sweating profusely. Her head was spinning, surrounded by a white, deathly silence. She stood in the middle of the road, with flames on one side and an icy pool on the other. She stood there, frozen, not knowing how to choose, not knowing what to choose, just instinctively standing there, blankly standing in this white mist.

Suddenly, a pair of men's hands pulled her along, leading her through the white mist. She didn't know whose hands they belonged to, only that the warm, calloused hands made her feel safe.

"Breathe slowly! Focus your energy in your dantian!" The man's deep voice rang in her ears, breaking the white, desolate silence in her mind. She blinked her long, fine eyelashes and tried to open her eyes. She

didn't know when she had sat cross-legged, her naked body flushed, a faint mist emanating from her skin. Sitting directly opposite her was Shi Wu, half-naked, his skin also flushed, covered in fine beads of sweat. The man's warm palm was pressed against her chest, slowly moving downwards. She could feel a powerful surge of energy emanating from his palm, overwhelmingly suppressing the chaotic energy within her body, binding it together through her skin, pressing it inch by inch down to her lower abdomen, her dantian.

She closed her eyes, slowed her breathing, and, following Shi Wu's teachings, tried to gradually control the several chaotic streams of energy within her body. She attempted to guide them slowly through her body, and under her partial guidance and Shi Wu's partial pressure, these chaotic streams eventually converged in her dantian, merging into one.

She continued this for about an hour and a half, until the flush on Pei Xiaolei's body gradually subsided and her body temperature dropped. Only then did Shi Wu withdraw his palm strike.

With the support that had kept Pei Xiaolei seated gone, she naturally succumbed to gravity and fell freely onto the bed. Just as she was about to make intimate contact with the sheets, a sudden, unexpected hand intercepted her midway. She felt her slender waist being abruptly pulled into a broad chest. Her sweaty body was thus held in his embrace, slowly and gently wiped clean. After being dressed in a thin, soft blouse, she was carefully placed on the bed and gently covered with a blanket that still smelled of sunshine.

Pei Xiaolei's eyes were tightly closed, her long eyelashes trembling slightly. She tried hard to open them, but it was as if she were trapped in a nightmare; her eyelids felt as if they were being crushed by a thousand-pound boulder, or as if they were glued shut with superglue. No matter how hard she tried, it was to no avail. Meanwhile, she keenly sensed that the source of strength and comfort she had always received seemed to be leaving. In a panic, she couldn't help but reach out and grab his withdrawing hand, holding it tightly to her heart, not letting go for a moment.

The man let her hold one hand, while his other hand slid over her delicate and beautiful face, pausing at a few strands of hair that clung to her cheek. He smiled indulgently and gently brushed them aside. His sharp eyebrows and bright eyes, his intelligent and resolute face, appeared exceptionally gentle because of the smile at the corner of his mouth.

"Sleep well! Senior Brother is here!"...

A visit to Pei Xiaolei in the evening

. The saying goes, "A scholar should be looked at with new eyes after three days' absence," but if we were to apply that to Pei Xiaolei today, those three days would have to be reduced to one. Look at her now! The woman, now nimbly gliding across the lake, displaying her light-footed skills, shows no trace of the sickly, almost lifeless state she was yesterday! Her rosy cheeks and radiant smile as she flew towards Shi Wu on the shore.

"How do you feel?" Shi Wu wiped the fine sweat from her brow with

his sleeve. "Excellent! The true energy within me is now at my disposal!" Having said that, to prove his point again, he picked up a small stone and flicked it a few feet away. A branch the size of a finger snapped in two. "How is it?" She looked up at Shi Wu, her eyes sparkling. Hehehe... Who would have thought that upon waking up, not only would the domineering martial arts passed down to her by the Western Poison Master be gone, but the internal energy her parents and second senior brother had instilled in her, under the guidance and help of her eldest senior brother, would also be completely transformed into her own internal energy. Now, she was no longer a half-baked expert with only moves but no usable internal energy. If she were to participate in any martial arts tournament now, she could probably make it into the top fifty.

"Very good. With more diligent practice, given time, you should be able to reach an even higher level!" Shi Wu glanced at the broken branch and replied with a light, encouraging tone.

Although she had foreseen from the beginning that even if she were to openly show off her meager skills in front of her eldest senior brother, he would definitely not be as strict as he was with the other fellow disciples, this encouragement from the strongest still excited her greatly. She stood tall and proud, like a peacock, her eyes full of smiles, the corners of her mouth almost reaching her ears.

"Come on! Let's go pay our respects to Mother and Uncle-Master!" Pei Xiaolei happily grabbed Shi Wu's hand and strode up the hillside. Shi Wu smiled, letting her lead him like a child.

They saw another sea of flowers, but this time it wasn't *Drunken Sentiments*, but mint blossoms. Amidst the lush greenery, tiny pink flowers swayed, their sweet scent carried on the breeze. Mint, her mother's favorite plant, grew abundantly in the courtyard of their main house.

In the center of the flower field stood two tall graves. Her mother's tombstone read: "Tomb of my beloved wife, Minxin"; signed: "Husband, Ling Han." The inscription on Ling Han's tombstone was blank except for the name "Ling Han." The handwriting on both tombstones was identical, indicating they were carved by the same person.

When Pei Xiaolei saw the name of her husband, Ling Han, a fleeting coldness flashed in her eyes, but it quickly disappeared. She casually picked a few bunches of mint flowers and placed them before their grave. Together with Shi Wu, she knelt and bowed, but she never looked at Ling Han's grave again.

"Let the matter of the ancestors be left to them!" Shi Wu patted her head, comforting her.

"Mm!" Knowing that her emotions were known, she wasn't annoyed and obediently agreed. Who was whose husband? A hundred years later, everyone would return to the earth. What was the use of clinging to such a title? She had already died once, so why couldn't she see through it all?

"You and your master's wife talk! I'll be right back!" Seeing that her mood had improved, Shi Wu left these words and leaped away.

"Mother, I've come to see you! I never expected to see you here. I'm so surprised! You have no idea how much I blamed myself for searching for you all those years. If I hadn't found the inkstone Father had tucked between the pages of his book, I would have thought you had come back to life!" She was initially calm, but as she spoke, her heart ached, and she had to raise her head to hold back her tears. Her mother often taught her that as the head of the family, she must be strong.

"Father! He left the next day too." She sniffed, her voice choked with emotion. "I don't know if he caught up with you!"

Her voice grew increasingly nasal. Pei Xiaolei paused, composed herself, forced a smile, and began to talk about happy things. "I'm fine. The ailments I had before are all gone, and the Western Poison Demon's martial arts have been cured. Now I can run and jump, I'm perfectly healthy! You don't need to worry. My senior brothers and sisters are all very good to me! Oh, and I have some good news for you. Senior Sister Xishan got married last year! The groom is that boy who used to chase her all over the place. He pursued her for so many years, and finally, he won her heart. A while ago, we received the good news that Senior Sister had given birth to a son. Yitian City is probably still celebrating the baby's one-month birthday right now!"

"These past few years, we've all been doing well! It's just... it's just that sometimes, late at night, I miss you all so much!" Tears streamed down her face, falling in large drops to the ground. "Mother, I miss you and Father!"

*********************A dividing line to cheer on the adorable Nobita who rolls over and over*******************

A series of howls came from behind. Pei Xiaolei turned around with her red and swollen rabbit eyes. Nobita stood behind her holding a large bouquet of flowers, his big, dark eyes staring at her. Then he looked down at the flowers placed in front of the two graves, seemingly finding it strange. He tilted his head and stared blankly for a while before suddenly running up to her and shoving all the flowers into her arms. It happened so suddenly, and there were so many flowers, that she didn't react in time. She didn't hold on tightly, and most of them fell to the ground with a clatter.

Awoo… Seeing the flowers all over the ground, Nobita thought that Pei Xiaolei no longer liked him. His mouth pursed, and he squatted on the ground with his head down and ears drooping. He looked like he could draw circles on the ground with a melancholy smile if you gave him a pen.

"Thank you, Daxiong! All these years, I'm so grateful for how you've taken care of my mother's and my master's graves!" Pei Xiaolei bowed down in front of it, gently stroking its soft fur with one hand, looking at it directly in the eye, and said, "You're very smart and amazing!"

Daxiong was indeed very smart. Upon hearing the praise, its expression changed as quickly as the weather in June. Its face lit up like a flower, and it even did its signature roll at the end. Its amusing appearance swept away Pei Xiaolei's low spirits, making her smile involuntarily.

Just as they were having a good time, Shi Wu returned, carrying a hairpin. Pei Xiaolei, upon seeing this, sensed something was wrong and unconsciously touched her head. Oh dear, sure enough, her hair was bare! This morning, she had been too excited and had only casually tied her hair into a simple bun before heading out to tell her senior brother the good news! Later, under Shi Wu's guidance, she had been practicing using her internal energy with great enthusiasm. She had completely forgotten about her life-saving little black iron hairpin, leaving it in the room.

"Thank you, Senior Brother!" she said, bowing her head, her face flushed, feeling quite embarrassed. Shi Wu didn't say anything, skillfully inserting the hairpin back into her hair, and then told her that while they had been delayed for two days, Xiao Ziye's health was now fine, and the raft for leaving this place had been repaired.

Pei Xiaolei was overjoyed upon hearing this, and she and her man once again performed the three kneelings and nine kowtows to the two ancestors. Seeing this, Da Xiong, who was excited to see Shi Wu, followed his idol and friend in bowing. His movements, though clumsy, were anything but unfamiliar.

"Black Bear! Let's have a match!" After bowing, Shi Wu suddenly waved his hand at Da Xiong and leaped away.

A match with the senior brother? That would only result in a beating! Pei Xiaolei looked back with some worry at the large black bear that had suddenly become unusually excited. Clearly, this big guy had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. It suddenly stood up, pounded its chest with its fists, and let out several deafening howls, demonstrating its power before immediately chasing after Shi Wu.

A quarter of an hour later, the senior brother returned gracefully, but the bear was nowhere to be seen. No need to ask, the bear must have lost badly. Her senior brother wasn't even sweaty, not even a stain on his clothes. Poor Da Xiong, you chose the wrong opponent.

Back in the jungle, Pei Xiaolei felt a sense of disorientation, as if she had been transported to another world. The moment her feet touched the ground, a tall, thin figure ran towards her. She looked closely and saw it was Tang Heng. The young master Tang now looked much more rugged, with dark skin, a short stubble on his chin, and hands covered in scratches—mostly minor cuts and scrapes. It seemed he hadn't been idle these past few days. She smiled approvingly; this little brat was really starting to look like a man.

"Hey, Tang Heng, long time no see! You look much better!" Pei Xiaolei greeted him with a smile.

"Where have you been these past few days?" Tang Heng stared at her with a hint of malice, his tone far less friendly than hers.

"Going to see a doctor!"

"Seeing a doctor? Are you kidding me? Where's a doctor around here?"

"I am a doctor myself!" Kid, if I don't fool you, who else can I fool here? Smiling politely at Tang Heng, Pei Xiaolei walked past him towards Xiao Ziye, who was standing not far behind him.

"Ziye! Is there anything wrong with your health?" Pei Xiaolei grabbed his wrist and carefully took his pulse. Although she already knew from Shi Wu that he was fine, she couldn't help but confirm it herself.

"I'm fine, thank you for your concern, Miss!" Xiao Ziye withdrew his arm as soon as her pulse-taking time was over, then took a small step back and bowed respectfully to her.

"That's good! I heard from Senior Brother that you two have already prepared the raft for your departure, let's go see it!" Seeing that his pulse, complexion, and breathing were all normal, Pei Xiaolei finally felt relieved and asked Xiao Ziye to lead the way to the means of transportation he and Tang Heng had made.

In front of them was a large raft, enough for the four of them, and the most thoughtful feature was that it even had a thatched hut for shade and several small wooden planks. A large blue of fruit was placed on the bank next to the raft. It seemed that they were ready to leave.

"Let's go!" Shi Wu picked up the fruit and boarded the raft before her, reaching out his hand to her.

"Okay!" With Shi Wu's help, she boarded the raft, followed by Xiao Ziye and Tang Heng.

The raft slid downstream, and the group was about to leave the cliff when suddenly a series of howls came from behind. Pei Xiaolei quickly turned around and saw a large black bear chasing the raft on the distant shore. She could see from afar that the bear's black fur was covered in mud; it must have tripped and fallen on the way!

"Da Xiong, stop chasing! We're leaving. Take care!" Pei Xiaolei shouted from the stern of the raft.

The response was an even more desperate howl from Da Xiong on the shore, and the chase continued...

The small river flowed into the larger river, and the cliffside valley where they had lived for several days receded further and further away, slowly shrinking until it disappeared from sight.

Goodbye, Mother! Goodbye, Da Xiong...

Author's Note: In the next chapter, it's time for our little junior brother to make his appearance!
Someone really needs the motivation and passion to continue writing! Calling for a long review!
--- July 12, 2008 In the

capital

of Chu, there may still be ignorant children who don't know who the King of Chu is, but there is absolutely no one who doesn't know who the

Imperial Consort of Chu is, or who the Prime Minister of Chu is! It is said that Imperial Consort Ye Yufu of Chu, though born into a brothel, is renowned for her literary talent and exceptional abilities. She is also incredibly beautiful, naturally reigning supreme in the harem. Furthermore, having given birth to the only son of the Emperor of Chu, she has gained even more power and influence in the harem. The position of Empress of Chu has been vacant for many years, and the Emperor is frail and sickly, so the Imperial Consort handles most of the court affairs.

Logically speaking, someone of Imperial Consort Ye Yufu's noble status, even with a flawed background, should be fawned upon by officials and noble families who would fawn over her. However, there are always some people in the world who, without considering the consequences, willingly risk their lives.

Marquis Xinpin, Tang Yiren, was a high-ranking official of the first rank, holding a hereditary title. His eldest son had served in the palace for many years, and it was said he was highly favored by the Emperor of Chu. As the saying goes, having connections in court makes things easier, and in recent years, Marquis Xinpin had been enjoying immense success and prestige. However, his excessive pride led him astray.

Two months ago, the court held a banquet to celebrate the birthday of the Imperial Noble Consort, inviting over a dozen powerful officials. On a whim, the Emperor of Chu asked each official to compose a poem to celebrate the Imperial Noble Consort's birthday.

Whether Marquis Xinpin, Tang Yiren, was genuinely drunk or something else, his poem caused a stir among the guests, and the Emperor and the Imperial Noble Consort's expressions changed drastically. What should have been a joyous birthday banquet nearly turned into Tang Yiren's slaughterhouse.

"Of all the beauties in the world, none surpasses those of Chu; of all the beauties of Chu, none surpass those of my village; and of all the beauties of my village, none surpasses the wife of my neighbor to the east. This wife of my neighbor to the east, if added an inch, would be too tall; if subtracted an inch, would be too short; if powdered, she would be too pale; if rouge applied, she would be too red. Her eyebrows are like kingfisher feathers, her skin like white snow, her waist like a bound silk ribbon, her teeth like pearls. A single smile from her could bewitch Yangcheng and captivate Xiachai. Yet this woman has been peeping at me over the wall for years, and to this day, I have not been able to have my way." This rather well-written erotic poem resulted in the imprisonment of all 106 members of the

Marquis of Xinpin's household, except for his eldest son Tang Huo, who spent most of his time in the palace, and his legitimate son Tang Heng, who was away on business. And this poem, by some busybody, somehow managed to spread throughout the land. For the sake of fantasy, the dignified Marquis of Xinpin was willing to risk his life; one can only imagine the extent of the Imperial Consort Ye Yufu's beauty. From then on, the Imperial Consort of Chu's fame spread far and wide.

*********I am CJ's dividing line★CJ's figure★CJ's weight★CJ's appearance★Always CJ★Forever CJ! ********

Let's split into two groups and talk about two other things. Another well-known figure in the Chu Kingdom is their Prime Minister Pei Xingwen. Unsuspecting outsiders, upon hearing the name Prime Minister, would assume that Lord Pei must be over fifty, a white-haired old man. If you, even within the Chu capital, are bound by this preconceived notion and address Prime Minister Pei as "Old Master," you might be waiting for a basin of foot-washing water to fall on your head from some upstairs lady or young lady.

So, what kind of person is Prime Minister Pei that he is so beloved? Let's listen to the voice of the people.

This is what the waiter at the "Youjian Inn" told Pei Xiaolei and her group, who were new to Chu: "

Young lady, the way you mentioned Pei Xiangfu, I knew you were from out of town. Every girl and aunt in the city blushes like a monkey's bottom when they talk about Pei the Great, and

you can smell his stench from miles away. Don't laugh, I'm telling you the truth, hey hey hey… You really don't believe me? Why don't you try calling out 'Pei Xiangfu is here' on the street later? Let me tell you, for miles around, every woman, young or old, turns into a tigress the moment she sees Pei Xiangfu, baring her teeth and claws, keeping strangers away. Even my wife, a mother of three, rushes over whenever someone mentions Pei Xiangfu, oh my, she acts like I'm dead.

Mind?" Of course, I was furious! But who is Prime Minister Pei? And what are we? Why would he even look at commoners like us? Not to mention my wife, even the daughter of the former Prime Minister, Lord Liu, wasted so much time on him. She's almost twenty now, and she's still desperate to marry into the Prime Minister's household. I don't know if Prime Minister Pei is fed up with these women or what, but he actually went around announcing that he was already married and told all the young ladies to go and marry as they pleased. At first, all the girls in the city were crying their eyes out, looking like Meng Jiangnu (a legendary figure known for her tragic love story). But after only half a year, those women had all forgotten about it, and in fact, their enthusiasm was even stronger than before.

Why? Because in all these years, no one has seen or heard of a wife in the Prime Minister's household. They say the household is full of servants, not even a single maid.

Anyway, now everyone in the capital knows that Prime Minister Pei's claim of having a wife is a lie.

All show and no substance? Young brother, my second brother sees you as someone of considerable wealth and status, yet you're so petty and achieve so little. A man should be upright and open-minded; don't be fooled by appearances.

That Prime Minister Pei, not only do those gossipy women admire him, but even we men admire him. Men? Do you understand? Kid, do you know how amazing our Prime Minister Pei is?

Four years ago, at only fourteen years old, Prime Minister Pei came to our Chu capital and astonished everyone. In the palace examination, he stunned the emperor and all the civil and military officials with just a seven-character quatrain, easily winning first place. At the time, the court and the people were in an uproar. It was already unprecedented for a child who hadn't even reached adulthood to participate in the imperial examinations, let alone become the top scholar with such ease. At first, we all thought this young man wouldn't survive in the complicated environment of the imperial court, and that he'd be crying for his parents within days. But no one expected that in just a few years, he would become the Prime Minister, second only to the Emperor. Moreover, the Prime Minister has truly done a lot for us common people. See that big red-tiled courtyard? That's a school. It was proposed by Minister Pei to be built free of charge for us common children, so they could have a place to read and write. And... (The following 1500 words are omitted, praising the student's selfless acts of helping others and the young man's praise.)

Hey... don't think that our Prime Minister Pei is just a weak scholar. This Prime Minister of Chu is truly remarkable, excelling in both literature and martial arts. Just this month last year, a sudden outbreak of horse madness occurred in our East Market. Two horses charged straight into the crowd, threatening to injure the vendors and passersby. But then, Prime Minister Pei, who had just finished court, appeared. With a leap, he subdued the two magnificent horses in a matter of seconds. Don't think this was easy; anyone with a bit of knowledge knows that a mad horse requires at least three to five strong men to control, let alone two at once, in the middle of a busy market. This shows just how courageous and skilled Prime Minister Pei is.

See? That's what a man is like! A man of Chu! Hahahaha…

"Thank you for your explanation, waiter!" Pei Xiaolei, disguised and sporting an ordinary freckled face, left a small silver ingot as a tip and followed the other three downstairs.

"Young Tang, what are you planning to do next?" Pei Xiaolei asked Tang Heng, the only one of the two who was going to disguise himself and had been silently following behind them. Ever since he learned of his family's misfortune, this young man had been meek and taciturn, like a silent gourd.

"I don't know!" Tang Heng shook his head. He had originally planned to return to the capital to discuss countermeasures with some of his clansmen and friendly families, but as soon as he explained his purpose, they wouldn't even let him in through the gates, and some even sent people to report him to the authorities. If it weren't for Pei Xiaolei and her group protecting him, he probably wouldn't have even stepped into the capital before his fate was sealed—at worst, he'd be beheaded, at least, he'd be locked up in jail. The officialdom was dark, human relationships were cold, and the world was indifferent. Now, all alone, what plans could he possibly have?

"Then you should come with us for now. We'll deal with the family matters as they come!" Pei Xiaolei shook her head, making the decision for him herself.

"Since we're here, let's go and bother this super popular idol of Chu, Prime Minister Pei!" Pei Xiaolei said with a smile, playfully pulling Shi Wu along. She hadn't expected that their journey down the river would lead them into the territory of Chu, and that their first stop would be the Chu capital.

"Our sudden appearance will scare him!" Shi Wu quipped.

"A little scare is good for his health; that kid has a strong heart! Let's go!" She pulled Shi Wu straight towards the Prime Minister's residence. To be honest, she hadn't seen her junior brother, who was only half a month younger than her, for over four years. Speaking of which, why did he run away from home back then? Hmm... it seems it was because Senior Sister Xi Shan said something unintentional to him: "Useless scholar!"

The closer they got to the Prime Minister's residence, the more vendors and hawkers appeared, mostly selling things related to Pei Xingwen! "Useless scholar," huh? It seems that kid has completely overturned that saying over the years.

is my motivation! Xiang Fuxing has been in high spirits and a good mood lately. Although he was only recently transferred to the position of gatekeeper, he's already become familiar with about twenty charming maids and a dozen beautiful young ladies and women. Although the position of gatekeeper at the Pei residence seems lowly, it's actually a very lucrative one. Not only do they have to work hard to keep those beautiful women away from their master, but they also have to reluctantly accept small gifts offered to them to curry favor. He doesn't know how many people he's entertained each day, but his purse is now quite full. "Excuse me, young lady, what brings you here?" Having just seen off the little red maid who delivered the love letter to Miss Chen, they are now immediately greeted by another group of visitors. However, this group seems rather strange—three men and one woman. He glanced at the smiling, plain-looking woman with freckles before him, then at the two men behind her—men with striking features and imposing presence, exuding an air of authority—and the unassuming servant behind them. "I'm looking for Prime Minister Pei!" the freckled girl said to Cheng Shun with a smile. What set this girl apart from the other visiting women was that she didn't appear as humble as some commoner girls, nor as arrogant as some noble ladies. She simply and directly stated her purpose, and her tone was surprisingly pleasant. Cheng Shun's hand, which habitually reached out for a tip, unconsciously and obediently withdrew. "Give him this. Tell him his relatives from his hometown have come!" A translucent jade disc was handed to Cheng Shun. "The Prime Minister has gone to the morning court. Please wait a moment, I'll go find the steward right away!" Oh dear, Cheng Shun was a little stunned when he heard that someone from the Prime Minister's hometown had come. He had been in the Prime Minister's residence for three years and had never seen his master send even half a relative from his hometown to visit. Even if he didn't know much about jade, he knew that the jade disc in his hand was very valuable. Most importantly, his master also had an identical jade disc and always wore it with him.

In Cheng Shun's life, besides his master, the person he admired most was Steward Zhao. Steward Zhao, having served adults since childhood, was methodical and steady in his work, managing the vast household affairs impeccably. He treated people of all statuses with neither servility nor arrogance, knowing when to advance and when to retreat, relieving his master of any worries. Even his master often humbly sought his advice on many matters. Steward Zhao was undoubtedly the second most important person in the Xiangfu Mansion, a figure respected by all the servants.

However, today, for the first time, he witnessed Steward Zhao lose his composure.

"What did you say? This jade pendant means the master has arrived? What are you still standing there for? Quickly go and welcome them in!" Upon seeing the jade pendant, Zhao Dongcheng jumped up from his chair as if his pants were on fire, shouting orders as he rushed out, instructing the servants who followed him. "You, go and buy me two skilled maids right now, and remember they need to be quick-witted."

"You, quickly go and invite the chefs from Yixianglou and Chiliuxiang to come here."

"You, you, you, all of you, quickly tidy up the biggest and best rooms in the front yard, and also take out the imperial Biluochun tea and brew it."

"And you, Chengshun, prepare the horse immediately and go to the Imperial City to wait. As soon as the morning court session ends, immediately invite the master back and say that the young lady of the house has arrived!"

"What are you all standing here for? Go now!" Seeing that a group of people were all standing motionless in front of him, Steward Zhao immediately shouted.

"Yes!" Everyone was immediately jolted awake. The servants who were assigned tasks immediately scattered and went about their business. The others were all a little uneasy, thinking that the person who came this time was really something else. Steward Zhao was even more cautious and nervous than when the late emperor visited the mansion last time.

Upon receiving the order, Cheng Shun dared not delay. He rushed out of the side gate and headed towards the imperial city. As he passed the main gate, he curiously peeked out and, to his surprise, Steward Zhao was so excited upon seeing the girl that he almost knelt on the ground. Fortunately, the girl was quick-witted and caught him. The servants following behind were not so lucky; they were all kneeling in greeting.

"Giddy up!" Cheng Shun was quick-witted and immediately understood that this matter could not be delayed. He cracked his whip and spurred his horse towards the imperial city.

"Minister of State, what is your opinion on the matter of Marquis Xinpin?" As soon as the morning court session ended, before everyone had even left the main hall, Chen Liangyu, the Vice Minister of Rites, hurriedly approached Pei Xingwen and asked.

"Lord Chen, how can we, as subjects, presume to judge matters concerning the royal family's reputation!" Pei Xingwen stepped aside, blocking Chen Liangyu's path, and continued walking out.

"Hmph, little fox!" Chen Liangyu thought disdainfully, watching the purple-robed figure disappear into the distance.

"Lord Chen, if you want to extract information from Prime Minister Pei, you'd be better off directly petitioning the Emperor!" Another high-ranking official in purple robes approached Chen Liangyu, speaking with a low chuckle.

"Minister Liu is absolutely right. However, I am of low rank and position. I fear my memorials have been intercepted before they even reached the Emperor. Among all the officials, only this young Prime Minister, who carries the late Emperor's dying wish, is worthy to offer direct advice."

"Lord Chen, some time ago, I also inquired with Prime Minister Pei about his intentions. Prime Minister Pei only gave me eight words."

"What eight words?" Chen Liangyu stepped forward and asked.

"A thousand words are not as good as silence!" Liu Congyuan finished speaking and walked past him out of the hall.

"A thousand words are not as good as silence? Not as good as silence? Lord Liu, no, Prime Minister Pei, Lord Pei, please wait!" The middle-aged Vice Minister of Rites, Chen Liangyu, lifted his heavy official robes and chased after the purple-robed youth who had already gone far ahead, all under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

Unfortunately, this prime-of-life Vice Minister ultimately couldn't catch up with Pei Xingwen. He only caught a horseless carriage and a bewildered Pei family groom.

"Prime Minister, how... how did you just ride away like that?" Chen Liangyu pointed at Pei Xingwen, who had long since disappeared from sight, and asked Cheng Shun, who stood on the ground, staring blankly at the carriage that was now empty of horses.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, there's an urgent matter at the Prime Minister's residence! My master was in a hurry and immediately set off on horseback! Please forgive him!" Always ready to answer, Cheng Shun, having served in the Prime Minister's residence for many years, had received considerable education and gained some experience regarding servants. Startled by Liu Liangyu's question, he quickly regained his composure and bowed respectfully in reply.

"Since the Prime Minister Pei's family has an urgent matter, I will visit again next time!" Unwilling to waste any more words with a mere groom, Chen Liangyu turned and left.

Outside the imperial city gates, carriages and horses shuttled back and forth. In less than a quarter of an hour, each household had taken their master away. Soon, only Cheng Shun and a horseless carriage remained on the vast square.

The wind howled, the Yi River was cold, the hero departed, never to return! A gust of hot air rushed towards him, stirring up a few fallen leaves that hit Cheng Shun, causing him to shiver, his face covered in dust. This imperial compound is more than ten miles away from the nearest bustling market in the capital. The gates of the imperial city are about to close, and the main road leading to the inner palace is off-limits to vehicles except for those attending court. Good heavens! How is he supposed to drag this four-seater carriage out by himself?

"Miss, where is she?" Xingwen jumped off his horse and immediately grabbed the servant who had come forward to lead the horse, asking loudly and urgently.

"In, in, in Yiqing Residence!" The servant, suddenly seeing his master so anxiously grabbing him, was startled and stammered, forgetting even the proper etiquette of replying. By the time he came to his senses and wanted to add something, his master had already disappeared.

Xingwen half-walked, half-leaped, and quickly arrived at his destination, Yiqing Residence, a side courtyard of his mansion and also his living quarters. He preferred quiet, so although Yiqing Residence was large and elegant, he didn't have many servants. Besides a few necessary helpers and courtyard cleaners, only Steward Zhao would occasionally come to report to him. He hadn't seen his personal servants on his way here, so Steward Zhao must have sent them away long ago. This situation… he grinned, his excitement barely contained. It seemed Xiaolei had really arrived.

The door creaked open, revealing a woman in green sitting there, sipping tea. Hearing the sound, she looked up. Seeing the man who had suddenly entered, she wasn't surprised. She slowly put down her teacup, quietly looking at him, her lips curving upwards, her eyes full of smiles. "

Xiaolei, it really is you!" The man quickly stepped forward, his words filled with excitement and disbelief, his eyes fixed on Pei Xiaolei.

"Of course it's me!" Pei Xiaolei stood up, looking up at her junior brother who was now a head and a half taller than her. She raised her hand to gesture, wanting to pat his head like she did when they were little, but realized she couldn't reach him now. She had to withdraw her hand and said with a smile, "You've grown taller, junior brother!"

"Yes! I'm taller than you now!" He lowered his head, bending down halfway so their eyes were level, allowing her to pull him closer, just like before, to compare their heights. Back then, even if she was only a little taller than him, it was enough to make her secretly happy for a long time.

This distance allowed him to see more clearly the woman before him, with her delicately painted eyebrows and refined, ethereal beauty. "'In the north there is a beautiful woman, peerless and independent. One glance could topple a city, a second glance could topple a nation.' Xiaolei, what if you get into trouble wandering around like this?" He spoke these seemingly frivolous words in a refined manner, but his tone was serious.

She chuckled, lightly tapped his head with her fist, and scolded, "Nonsense, 'stunningly beautiful'? You've certainly learned a lot of flattery these past few years."

"No, I'm telling the truth. No woman in this world can compare to Xiaolei from our family!" He scratched his head, pouting slightly like he did when he was a child, and muttered his argument.

"You should call her Senior Sister!" She smiled and tapped him again, correcting him. This kid was still the same. Despite being well-read and having traveled extensively with the steward and his senior brothers since childhood, he still preferred to be a frog in a well, always believing that the best things in the world were always at home. However, at this moment, her hand, which had been poaching, was held firmly by Xingwen. The man's large hand tightly held her small hand.

He smiled without answering her correction, only pulling her back to her seat. The tea in the cup had gone a little cold. In the large room, only she and he, along with Steward Zhao, had kept the room very clean. He picked up the teapot, intending to change it, but Pei Xiaolei stopped him halfway. She squinted her eyes and smiled, saying, "This is fine, no need to change it!"

"Cold water isn't good for your health!" He pulled her hand away, insisting on changing it.

"Second Senior Brother, shouldn't I have sent you a letter home? Do I look unwell now?" She carefully protected the teapot, wary of this watchful junior brother. She didn't want hot tea on such a hot day.

Reminded of this, Xingwen remembered that his second senior brother had indeed written a few days ago saying that Miss's health had improved significantly. He told him not to worry and specifically reminded him not to send large quantities of medicinal herbs home anymore. He had assumed this was just an excuse from his second senior brother. Most of the letters home he received were written by Xiaolei herself, and when she mentioned her health, she always said it was fine, telling him not to worry and instructing him not to return, to be careful while away… Therefore, he didn't fully believe his second senior brother's letter, and the personal attendant he had sent back to the manor to investigate hadn't returned yet.

In his memory, Xiaolei was always sickly. Even though she was always close to her fellow disciples, a subtle aloofness lingered in her bones, impossible to conceal. This aloofness extended not only to them but also to her master and mistress. He

remembered years ago, when a Shaolin abbot met the young lady, he first praised her for her wisdom, saying she had already grasped the meaning of life and death, then went on to spout nonsense about half a soul, a short lifespan, and destiny... and so on. Before he could finish speaking, he was dragged out of the manor by the manor's manager and guards, and beaten up on the way. He couldn't recall whether he, in his rage, had also kicked that monk a few times. Everyone, however, had unknowingly been deeply offended by that monk.

The heir to the most prestigious manor in the world, the only daughter of the Pei family, Pei Xiaolei's life was precious yet precarious. Perhaps this was why, despite her exceptional intelligence from a young age, she always maintained a distant demeanor in her interactions with others.

Now, when she looked at him, there was something in her eyes that she hadn't seen before. In these years without him, she had truly changed a lot.

"Ah!" Pei Xiaolei suddenly looked up, as if remembering something, then poured him a cup of tea, her beautiful eyes sparkling. A hint of expectation lingered in her gaze as she looked at him, saying, "Senior Brother said he wants you to go to the backyard later. He wants to test your martial arts skills and see if you've improved over the years!"

Xingwen's hand swayed, splashing tea onto his wrist. He looked at Pei Xiaolei, stunned, as if confirming he hadn't misheard, and asked, "Senior Brother? You mean Senior Brother is here too?" He took a small step back, his voice trembling slightly.

"Yes! He's in the courtyard. Let's go!" Pei Xiaolei seemed oblivious to Xingwen's struggle and pale face, pulling him straight out.

――――――2008.07.20 The day

the truth came out

, the Chu court was unusually noisy. The civil and military officials, dressed in various court robes, gathered in small groups, whispering amongst themselves, making the court as noisy as a marketplace. If you were to ask them now why they were so excited, someone would immediately give you a disdainful look and secretly sneer, "Damn it, how did you even get into this court? Your information is so outdated, your news so limited."

Pei Xingwen, the one who was said to possess both the looks of Pan An and the talent of Zuo Si, who had served as an official for over four years, never late or absent from court, rain or shine, never missing a single day of official duties, and praised as the youngest and most diligent prime minister in Chu, had asked for leave—and for three days at that.

The court officials were in an uproar, and the emperor was in a bind.

In the Chu court, where factions were rampant, Pei Xingwen was like a balancing force. He held a high position and power, and with the late emperor's edict protecting him, even the current emperor was wary of him. He neither associated with others nor formed factions. He appeared isolated, yet he maintained close personal relationships with the leaders of various factions and cliques—or, more accurately, he seemed to have close ties with most of the civil and military officials in the court.

The late emperor greatly admired this protégé, handpicked by him, and the current emperor also favored this powerful minister. Whenever there were disputes in court, even threatening to escalate into a full-blown brawl under the emperor's nose, his opinions always acted as a calming agent, prudently quelling the tension. Now that he had taken leave, all the factions and cliques were eager to settle their scores; these three days would be enough for them to slowly settle old scores.

An imperial decree was issued, and Chen Liangyu, the Vice Minister of Rites, under the emperor's expectations and the watchful eyes of the ministers, nervously accepted this hot potato, representing the emperor and the court officials to visit and express his condolences to the meritorious Vice Minister. The emperor's meaning was clear: that young man should return to his post as soon as possible. The powerful minister's meaning was straightforward: please, Minister Chen, rest at home for a few more days and don't need to worry too much about court affairs for the time being.

Thus, amidst numerous instructions and entreaties, this Minister Chen, carrying the emperor's rewards and the goodwill of various officials, discreetly knocked on the gates of the Minister's residence, posing as a personal figure.

Entering the Minister's residence for the first time, he was filled with curiosity, looking around carefully, noting everything in detail. He would need to report back to the emperor and other officials, and observing the surroundings would provide some interesting anecdotes to share. However, the Minister's residence was truly unusually simple; in the front courtyard, besides a few stones and trees, there wasn't even a single potted plant.

Chen Liangyu sat in the hall for a long time, but Pei Xingwen was nowhere to be seen. The tea had gone cold several times, and several pots had been replaced. As the minutes ticked by, his face grew increasingly ashen. Unable to contain himself, he grabbed a servant and shouted, "Lord Chancellor, when will you be out? I have important business to attend to."

The unfortunate servant, caught, quickly and respectfully replied, "Master was unwell yesterday, and it will probably take some more time for him to wake up today!"

"Unwell? Could it be that Lord Chancellor is ill?" Upon hearing this, Chen Liangyu's liver-colored face slowly regained some color.

Think about it, he hasn't taken a single day of sick leave in all these years. What a dedicated pillar of the court, a public servant! Now, this model official is probably realizing his illness might be accumulating from years of neglect. This high-ranking official, a first-rank minister, only asked him to wait a little longer. If he were to utter anything inappropriate now, and it got out, it wouldn't just reach the emperor's ears; even if it reached his colleagues, he'd be in deep trouble. Moreover, the young minister's instruction to Minister Liu that day, "A thousand words are not as good as silence!" had truly impressed him. Objectively assessing his achievements over the years, it's not hard to see that this young man, barely twenty, indeed possesses admirable abilities.

"I wish to personally visit the minister. Please lead the way!"

"Then thank you for your esteemed presence, Minister. Please!" The servant had already received instructions from Steward Zhao not to disturb his master. The Vice Minister was to be allowed to wait. If he couldn't wait any longer, and wished to visit his master in person, he could be taken there. If not, he should be sent back; he must not disturb his injured master by getting up and moving around.

"Let's go!" Chen Liangyu picked out a few light items from the pile of gifts, large and small, and took them with him. He then followed the servant leading the way into the side courtyard.

If the main hall of the front courtyard exuded a rigid and simple atmosphere, then this side courtyard of the Vice Minister's residence was filled with a stable, pure, and elegant hue.

Painted decorations, carvings, glazed tiles; long corridors, halls, viewing pavilions; small bridges, green bamboo, lotus ponds; decorations and architecture, human elements and nature, were beautiful, vibrant, and varied, all harmoniously and organically combined.

Just a door away, the scenery was worlds apart.

This was none other than Chen Liangyu, the dignified Vice Minister of Revenue, a third-rank official. Even Chen Liangyu felt a bit like a country bumpkin visiting a grand garden for the first time. The courtyard was vast, and after several turns, Pei Xingwen's residence remained a distant sight. However, the sound of swordsmanship coming from not far away piqued Chen Liangyu's curiosity. He asked the servant leading the way, who looked somewhat troubled and stammered for a while before answering uncertainly, "It sounds like the young master and young lady are practicing swordsmanship!"

"The young master and young lady? Could it be that the Vice Minister already has children!" Two children at once? Chen Liangyu's heart leaped with excitement, his gossipy nature flourishing. Although Pei Xingwen had long ago claimed to be married, no one in the court or among the people dared to verify it, nor did anyone take it seriously. They simply assumed he was annoyed by all the women and was making excuses. Being popular and loved isn't bad, but if things escalate to the point where even going out requires sneaking around and hiding, that's no fun. Sometimes, being too good-looking can be a problem.

"Young Master and Miss aren't the master's children! They are..." The servant who had led the way was now turning pale. They, the servants, only knew that the new visitors were very important and distinguished guests, and they had to serve them carefully. But neither the master nor Steward Zhao had told them who they were, or how they should address these seemingly extraordinary guests.

Steward Zhao called the man and woman living in the side courtyard "Young Master and Miss." Although these low-ranking servants rarely had the chance to meet these two ethereal figures, some lucky ones had returned and reported that they too had followed Steward Zhao's example and called them "Young Master and Miss," and they had actually done so. This spread like wildfire, and since Steward Zhao didn't seem to mind, they all started calling them that too.

However, while the people in their own residence were fine, if there were outsiders present, the eldest son was clearly older than the young master, and the young lady, though appearing younger, was probably not much younger than the young master.

Master, eldest son, young lady! Such titles together were bound to cause misunderstanding for Lord Chen. However, as a mere servant, he didn't know how to explain it properly and could only obey orders, leading the burly official, whose forehead practically bore the character "eight," to satisfy his curiosity. They took a side path towards the direction of the sword-fighting sounds.

"Clang, clang, clang," the sharp sounds of weapons clashing grew increasingly rapid.

Standing not far away, Chen Liangyu watched with cold sweat beading on his forehead. Before working in the Ministry of Rites, he had spent some time in the Ministry of War, and in his youth, he had dreamed of being a hero and knight-errant, having studied under several masters and diligently practiced martial arts for several years.

The woman in green's sword was fast, ruthless, and accurate, each move deadly.

The brown-clad man's sword was swift yet slow, still yet dynamic. His body moved with the sword, becoming one with it. The sword flashed, advancing and retreating, protecting himself flawlessly while calmly and methodically pointing out the flaws in the green-clad woman's swordsmanship.

Suddenly, the green-clad woman leaped into the air, her sharp sword thrusting straight at the man, followed by another chilling exchange of blows. Chen Liangyu watched, overwhelmed by the spectacle. While admiring the green-clad woman's superb martial arts, he couldn't help but feel a slight fear of the unfathomable brown-clad man.

The green-clad woman, with a graceful movement, retreated from the battlefield, landing with a slight stumble. She tossed aside the sword in her hand, wiped the sweat from her brow, and said breathlessly, "I'm not fighting anymore! You're not taking it seriously!"

The man in brown shook his head, smiled, turned around and handed her a towel, calmly reassuring her, "In martial arts practice, you must avoid being hasty and impatient. You only just used your inner energy; it's already quite good that you've achieved this!"

"Besides!" He turned slightly, looking towards the bamboo grove, and said slowly, "We have guests!"

Upon hearing this, Chen Liangyu couldn't help but shiver. He quickly stepped out of the bamboo grove and bowed to them from afar, saying, "Chen Liangyu was just being nosy and disturbed your match! I hope you two heroes won't take offense!" At this moment, Chen Liangyu naturally understood that the young master and young lady the servant had mentioned were definitely not what he had initially thought. However, for the moment, he didn't know how to address them properly. Seeing that they both had swords and were highly skilled in martial arts, he took the liberty of calling them 'heroes'.

*********★I am a CJ who admires my senior brother★The strongest senior brother★The invincible senior brother★Sprinkling flowers★********

"It's alright!" The man in brown nodded at him, ignoring his third-rank official robes. He took off one of his outer robes and draped it over the woman. After the fight, the woman was covered in sweat, and her thin dress clung to her body, revealing her curvaceous figure and exuding sexiness.

"You go back first!" the man instructed the woman with his head bowed. The woman glanced at Chen Liangyu and nodded in agreement.

Chen Liangyu had already walked up to the man and woman in a few steps, feeling the same kind of admiration for the strong and excitement he felt when facing them in his youth.

"Senior brother, then I'll take the Qingming Sword back first!" The woman in green said as she walked to his side carrying two swords. She then looked up and glanced at Chen Liangyu seemingly casually, but this casual glance stunned Chen Liangyu.

Stunningly beautiful? Surpassing all others? Unparalleled in elegance? Those were descriptions of the Imperial Noble Consort Ye Yufu. But this woman before him, a mere Vice Minister, a former top scholar, he couldn't utter a single suitable word to describe. If the Imperial Noble Consort's beauty was captivating, then this woman in green's beauty would ensnare you for half your life.

"My lord, you have something to discuss!" The man stepped aside, blocking his gaze from further questioning the woman in green.

"Ah!" Chen Liangyu snapped back to reality, realizing his earlier rudeness, and quickly tried to redeem himself, "I've come to visit the Prime Minister." Only then did he look up at the man, who was half a head taller than him.

Upon seeing who it was, he stumbled, involuntarily taking a half-step back—that appearance, that aura!

"General Pei? What are you doing here?" Chen Liangyu's eyes widened in disbelief. Several years ago, when he was still in the Ministry of War, he and his colleagues had attended a military banquet. Pei Shiwu had been seated at the head of the table, watching the Pei family's soldiers compete against warriors from other countries and tribes. Although the competition was supposed to be an exhibition match, no one considered it a purely friendly contest. Those who took the stage were all top-tier elite warriors from their respective countries. Everyone put on a show of utmost friendship, but in reality, they were all using it to both flaunt their nation's strength and probe the strengths of others.

During the competition, a young tribal chief, who seemed to have just won some title of warrior in his tribe, perhaps unable to bear seeing the Pei family's army frequently reporting victories, or perhaps because it was his first time attending such a military banquet and he was fearless like a newborn donkey unafraid of tigers, actually jumped off the stage and challenged Pei Shiwu. Then, as if in the blink of an eye, after exchanging greetings with Pei Shiwu, the tribal chief disappeared from the stage. After a while, everyone finally found the unconscious tribal chief in the stands several dozen feet away.

Chen Liangyu, who had been a supporting official, sat at the very end of the table, but like many other military officers, he was deeply impressed and shaken by what he saw. Pei Shiwu seemed to be using this as a warning to the generals and military officers from various countries and regions present. The number one manor in the world was not to be underestimated by anyone, let alone dared to attempt to meddle with it.

He, Pei Shiwu, was an unshakable mountain simply by standing there.

"Who are you?" Shiwu frowned slightly, somewhat puzzled by the official who seemed to know him and appeared very excited.

"This humble official is Chen Liangyu, holding the rank of Vice Minister of Rites. Today, I have been ordered to visit the Prime Minister." Chen Liangyu bowed again.

"So you've come to see Xingwen! He was injured while practicing martial arts yesterday. Well then, I'll go with you to see him." With that, he led the way.

Chen Liangyu quickly followed, his mind still full of questions, asking as he walked, "General Pei and the Prime Minister are...?"

"He's my junior brother!"

Another thunderbolt struck Chen Liangyu, nearly splitting him in two. Junior brother? Good heavens, how could he not have thought of that? The world only knew that the Pei family, the most powerful clan in the land, had five talented and beautiful adopted sons and daughters. But the most well-known were the eldest, Pei Shiwu, whose Pei family army was invincible; the second, Pei Shanyi, whose miraculous healing skills were admired by all; the adopted daughter, Pei Xishan, whose culinary skills were divine, tempting countless palates; and the third son, Pei Nengshang, who wielded immense influence in the business world, controlling everyone's wallets. Only the fourth son, aside from participating in a martial arts tournament years ago, had vanished without a trace, never appearing before anyone again.

No one could have imagined that this enigmatic figure was actually in the Chu Kingdom, and had even worked with him for many years. Most importantly, he had actually risen to the highest ranks of the court, becoming the Grand Chancellor, second only to the King of Chu.

This… this news was too shocking! He was stunned on the spot. Only when he reached Pei Xingwen's residence did he come to his senses. Once he came to his senses, he abandoned all manners, shoving all the gifts in his hands into Shi Wu's hands. He tossed out a sentence, "Since the Grand Chancellor is unwell, I won't disturb you any longer. I have matters to attend to at home, so I'll take my leave."

Then, clutching the hem of his official robes, he fled as if his backside was on fire!
