[Fantasy] The Beauty's Tribulation (Complete) - 7-9

"Ouch... Xiaolei, be gentle, be gentle..."

Pei Xiaolei glanced at the man in front of her who was grabbing the edge of the bed and yelling, and scolded him while suppressing a laugh, "Do you know it hurts now?" "

I know! Ah... be gentle, be gentle!"

"You know that, yet you're still fighting so hard? Senior Brother just wanted to test if your martial arts have improved over the years, why are you taking it so seriously? Look, it's all red and purple, and you even fell down by accident!" As she spoke, recalling his disheveled state, Pei Xiaolei couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"You're still laughing? Weren't you having a good time watching from the side? You were even cheering me on!" Xingwen gritted his teeth, enduring the sharp pain in his arm, and retorted as if he was itching with anger.

"Hehehe... It's rare to see you like this! I got a little carried away. I remember the last time I watched you guys fight like this was six years ago. Back then, you were so tall, only up to my ear! You were supposed to go up and fight against our eldest brother with our second and third senior brothers, but our third senior brother thought you were in the way and tied you to a big tree. You were so fierce back then! But, hehehe... you were much cuter than you are now."

"Hmph! It's because they held me back that they lost to our eldest brother, and lost so badly!" Xingwen felt angry when he thought about that time. Wasn't that blatant bullying of his youth?

"Still being stubborn. Actually, our second and third senior brothers were doing it for your own good. You were so small back then, only a tiny bit tall. What if you got hurt?" Pei Xiaolei released Xingwen's arm, which was covered in a red and swollen bruise, and her smile deepened! She picked up his other arm and, as if deliberately, rubbed the bruises harder, ignoring the grinding of his teeth, and continued, "Besides, in that match, although Second Senior Brother and Third Senior Brother both seemed to be fighting very hard, my parents said it was a draw; neither of them lost."

"Eldest Senior Brother is a martial arts genius, a once-in-a-century talent. His current martial arts skills have probably already surpassed Father's. If you went head-to-head with him, you'd only be asking for a beating. And like yesterday, he was just forcing your attacks back. You bumped into these places, and here, and here—all by accident!"

Hearing this, Pei Xingwen's lips pursed, and he didn't reply, only staring intently at her. Pei Xiaolei felt a chill run down her spine before slowly saying, "You've become so long-winded!"

Uh…long-winded? Long? Long? Long?

Pei Xiaolei was stunned, looking back at him with disbelief, her heart filled with turmoil! Not cheerful, not enthusiastic, not… actually, he was long-winded? He actually said he was long-winded? She had only said a few words, so many sentences, and he actually complained that she was long-winded? This… this… is too hurtful to her pride! Tears well up in my eyes!!!

"You, you think I'm long-winded?"

"No, I'm not complaining about you, Xiaolei, don't be sad!" Seeing her eyes slightly lowered, as if a little water was rising, Xingwen panicked and stammered, trying to coax her with one sentence after another, until he saw the smile on Pei Xiaolei's lips become more and more obvious, and then he realized that he had been tricked!

"You're teasing me again!" Xingwen breathed a sigh of relief, and the panic in his eyes calmed down!

"Hehehehe…" She pinched his cheek. Although he was very handsome when he was cool, she liked to see him smile even more, with two little dimples on his cheeks, which were cute and funny.

"Alright, it's getting late. Don't you have a banquet tonight? You need to get ready!" Pei Xiaolei weighed the time, composed herself, and began urging Xingwen.

"Chen Liangyu is such a blabbermouth!" Xingwen raised an eyebrow and complained. Chen Liangyu had barely left when the imperial edict arrived, piling up visiting cards from high-ranking officials. His senior brother had been invited to the palace early this morning, and he heard there would be a banquet at the palace tonight for all the officials. The invitation had already been sent to the Prime Minister's residence. Since it was an imperial banquet and related to his senior brother's trip to Chu, he couldn't refuse and had to attend despite his injury.

Pei Xiaolei smiled again and said, "What's coming will come! Now that these formalities are over, I should go back with my senior brother!"

"You're leaving? You just arrived!" Xingwen was anxious and grabbed her hand.

"Chu is not a place to stay for long!" She patted his hand and explained. It had only been one night since her senior brother's identity was exposed, and she had already counted countless people who had come

to the Xiangfu residence to investigate, some on her fingers and some on her toes. Although those people might not be able to get past the Xiangfu residence's guards, and certainly wouldn't be able to get close to her and her senior brother, their freedom and peace of mind had still been affected and restrained to some extent. "Wait a moment, I'll send more people, not letting a single fly in!" Xingwen understood her meaning. It was rare for her to go out, and she certainly didn't want to be monitored everywhere. And since this was the Xiangfu residence, she and her senior brother would have to be accommodating in many things to protect their junior brother, so he quickly made a promise to her.

"Alright, go change your clothes quickly. We're not doing anything shady, why are you being so strict? Once senior brother comes back from his rounds, their curiosity will pass, and it'll be fine! Don't make me feel like I'm in jail! Just like this is fine!" Pei Xiaolei pulled her hand away from his and stood up, urging him on. She also called in Steward Zhao, who was guarding outside, to help her junior brother, who was already looking very unhappy, change his clothes.

*************I am CJ, who is always racing against Miss Turtle and Mr. Snail! **************

The Emperor of Chu held a banquet at Huaxi Palace, with officials of the fourth rank and above in attendance. Shi Wu, as a prince of the first rank, sat to the lower right of the Emperor. Opposite him sat a pale-faced military officer with extremely beautiful features. A fourth-rank deputy commander of the Imperial Guard sat in a first-rank position, and even before the Emperor arrived, he poured himself a drink. Despite the many eyes and whispers around him, he still slowly and methodically ate the food on his chopsticks and drank the fine wine in his cup, completely unaffected by the surrounding noise. Such arrogant and unrestrained behavior in the imperial palace made even Shi Wu look at the person opposite him with some curiosity.

The official opposite him seemed curious about today's guests as well. When he looked up, his eyes met Shi Wu's. He raised his cup and drank it down in one gulp as a greeting. Shi Wu simply nodded in response.

Sitting to Shi Wu's left was a prince, not very old, around thirty, with a spiky mustache, and his title was Prince Yongle. This prince hadn't stopped talking for a moment since he sat down half an hour ago. Seeing the curiosity between Shi Wu and the military officer opposite him, he immediately leaned in, patted Shi Wu's shoulder, and whispered sarcastically, "What, General Pei, do you also have an interest in men?"

Seeing Shi Wu remain silent, he winked and thought he had found a kindred spirit, and once he started talking, he couldn't stop.

A few quarters of an hour later, the life story of Tang Huo, the eldest son of the disgraced official Xinpin Hou, who had caused such a stir a few days ago, was laid out before Shi Wu. It seemed that either this Yongle Prince was living a very leisurely and boring life, or he was genuinely very concerned about this deputy military commander. He was meticulous about everything, down to the exact size of Tang Huo's clothes and shoes, and even his dietary habits. He didn't miss a single detail. Shi Wu listened quietly without giving any objections, his gaze occasionally drifting to the glamorous man opposite him who was constantly drinking. Several empty wine jugs were already lying crookedly in front of him, but the wine cup in his hand was never empty. Strangely, the more he drank, the paler his face became, with only the blue veins on his neck standing out more prominently on his skin. If you looked closely, the fingernails on his fingers gripping the wine cup were tinged with blackish-purple. This is a person who has suffered severe internal injuries and will not live much longer. With proper care, he might be able to survive for some time. However, his current reckless drinking is undoubtedly suicidal.

"It's a pity that such a beauty is beyond our reach; she is truly 'beautiful to behold from afar, but not to be trifled with'!" Prince Yongle sighed in a low voice, his gaze lingering meaningfully on the imperial throne.

As he spoke with a mocking smile, a commotion suddenly arose at the banquet. The assembled officials, more or less aware of the master-disciple relationship between Pei Xingwen and General Pei, were now even more enthusiastic about Pei Xingwen, who possessed both the late emperor's decree and the powerful backing of the "Number One Manor Under Heaven." More than half of the officials stood up to greet the belatedly arriving official.

"Lord Pei, over here! Over here!" Prince Yongle immediately stood up, waving his hands excitedly.

Xingwen glanced in their direction, then followed the palace maid to an empty seat to Prince Yongle's left. Since entering the palace, a faint smile had played on his lips, but his eyes held a cold, aloof quality.

After bowing to his senior brother and taking his seat, Prince Yongle stopped his usual chatter about Shi Wu and focused entirely on ingratiating himself with Pei Xingwen. Xingwen and Tang Huo were both exceptionally handsome, but Prince Yongle's attitude towards them was worlds apart. While he spoke of Tang Huo with praise and admiration, his tone was frivolous and disrespectful, even his gaze towards the other man revealing undisguised contempt. However, when facing Xingwen, his previous frivolity vanished completely; his noble bearing and refinement returned instantly. His speech and actions became measured and courteous. Although Xingwen's greetings were merely polite responses, Prince Yongle was overjoyed. He looked at Xingwen with respect, admiration, and an undisguised adoration.

A high-pitched voice rang out, "The Emperor has arrived!" Everyone stood up. Except for Shi Wu, Xingwen, and a few other prominent figures, all the other officials were required to kneel and kowtow.

"My lords, rise!" Emperor Chu waved his hand, dismissing the formalities, and sat upright in his seat. His gaze swept over the surroundings before settling on Tang Huo.

"Minister Tang, the banquet hasn't even started yet, and you're already half-drunk. Do you even respect me?" Emperor Chu's voice wasn't loud, but his words carried weight, and the hall fell silent.

"Cough, cough, cough..." Tang Huo responded with a series of light coughs.

"Enough. Someone, remove his wine and replace it with tea. Xiao Liu, go and watch over him. He must only give him light food later!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" The young chief eunuch beside Emperor Chu received the decree and went to Tang Huo's side, clearing away the wine vessels and replacing them with a pot of fine tea.

"Set the table!" The emperor spoke, and the banquet began.

One exquisite banquet dish after another was served. The emperor didn't stay long at the banquet. After exchanging a few perfunctory greetings with the host and guest of honor, Shi Wu, he left with Tang Huo.

No sooner had the emperor left than the courtiers began to make a ruckus. The Chu court was known for its fierce style; now that their leader was gone, the monkey was ready to rise to power. In no time, everyone was reeking of alcohol. The group of men, besides boasting about power and money, also loved to talk about women, especially beautiful ones.

Chen Liangyu was naturally one of these men. After a few cups of strong liquor, this big mouth began to ramble on about women. His focus today was the highly skilled female warrior he had met at the Prime Minister's residence. He was probably really enjoying himself, his poetic inspiration flowing freely. He wrote a thousand-character poem describing Pei Xiaolei's beauty and vivacity, practically praising her as a celestial being descended to earth.

Chen Liangyu's praises were still in progress when the ministers, impatient to inquire about the whereabouts of the beautiful woman, turned to Shi Wu, another party involved.

"That's my wife!" Shi Wu smiled faintly, offering an explanation, his index finger lightly tapping the table, very slowly. But even this slight sound, amidst the noisy environment, was clearly audible to all the officials present. Each soft, slow tap carried a dangerous warning.

With perfect understanding, the previously heated discussion about the beautiful woman was silently and subtly diverted.

The custom of banquets in Chu was to last all night, with drinks flowing freely until everyone was thoroughly drunk. And tomorrow happened to be a 'rest day,' and the emperor had ordered a grand feast of fine wines for everyone to enjoy—the implication being that everyone should eat and drink to their heart's content and leave satisfied.

After several rounds of drinks, Xingwen's face flushed slightly, and he was already a little tipsy. His mood was already not good, but after hearing Shiwu introduce Xiaolei as his "my humble wife," it worsened. Even Prince Anle, who had been flattering him, had been rebuffed several times and could only awkwardly turn his attention to Shiwu, the host.

Several older court officials, taking advantage of the crowd's intoxication, came over to toast Xingwen. After a few official pleasantries, they got straight to the point, vying to promote their daughters to him. Xingwen was already furious, and now the people around him were constantly adding fuel to the fire. In a fit of anger, he slammed his fist heavily on the table in front of him. The table snapped in two, scattering fruit, wine, and meat all over the floor.

Everyone around stared at Xingwen in astonishment. Some of the timid palace maids nearby had tears in their eyes; none of them had ever seen the Prime Minister Pei so distraught.

"Uh..." Xingwen let out a soft hiccup, his face flushed.

He was drunk! The crowd relaxed, some laughing knowingly. Officials sitting close to him even considerately advised Xingwen to take care of his health and drink less.

Xingwen slowly rose, and, understanding everyone's comprehension, unsteadily bid farewell to his colleagues. The high-ranking officials knew that this Grand Secretary's alcohol tolerance was always low, and he didn't particularly enjoy banquets and parties. Considering his current illness and his half-drunk state, they reasoned that it was both reasonable and polite for them to refuse, no matter how enthusiastic they were.

After a few polite exchanges, Xingwen, supported by a eunuch, finally left the palace, his steps unsteady.

Once outside the palace gates, the grooms who had been waiting immediately helped their master into the carriage to rest.

Sitting in the carriage, Xingwen poured himself a cup of tea at the small tea table, leaned back on the soft couch, closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened them again, they were clear and bright, showing no trace of drunkenness.

"Return to the manor!"

"Yes!"

The coachman cracked his long whip, and a heavily decorated, luxuriously designed four-wheeled carriage sped away in the dim night...

A Boat Scene (Part 1)

When Xingwen returned to the manor, it was already 7 PM (around 8 pm). After changing and washing up, he tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep. He got up and went out of his room, only to see that the light in Pei Xiaolei's room was still on.

"Xiaolei, are you asleep?"

"Not yet, Xingwen, come in!" Pei Xiaolei's light voice had just fallen when a newly bought maid of about fifteen or sixteen years old opened the door and respectfully welcomed him in.

"You've come at the right time. Come and finish this game with me; I'm getting a little tired playing alone!" Pei Xiaolei smiled and beckoned him to sit at the other end of the chessboard. The pieces were almost all set up, and the black and white pieces were locked in a fierce battle.

"You take the black pieces!" Pei Xiaolei placed a stack of unfinished black pieces in front of him, then lowered her head to ponder the game on the table.

"Alright!" Xingwen picked up a chess piece from the box, his eyes not on the board, but fixed on the beautiful profile of the woman opposite him, her head bowed in thought, bathed in candlelight. His breathing quickened slightly; his heart felt like it was pounding with excitement.

Four years had passed, and she was even more beautiful!

"Xingwen, it's your turn!" Pei Xiaolei urged, seeing him hesitate.

"Oh! Alright!" He quickly lowered his head, hastily suppressing his agitation and trying to focus on the game.

His heart was racing, his moves were chaotic. He made this crucial move inexplicably, without any strategy.

"Xia Yu, go pour Fourth Young Master some tea to help him sober up!" Pei Xiaolei shook her head, looking at her distracted junior brother, and ordered the maid to make tea.

A faint scent of wine wafted from Xingwen. Pei Xiaolei frowned slightly, took out a handkerchief from her bosom, and dabbed it on his forehead through the chessboard. Looking at her junior brother, who was half a year younger than her, his face flushed and slightly sweaty, she felt a pang of heartache. "Look at you! You drink without any restraint! How old are you? You're already sweating buckets! Why didn't your senior brother stop you?"

"I'm fine, I didn't drink much. You… don't worry, my alcohol tolerance isn't any worse than ours," Xingwen said, smiling gently at her. He reached out and covered Pei Xiaolei's slender, boneless hand with his own, pressing it against his burning face, seemingly trying to cool his feverish body with the warmth of her hand. He didn't understand why, even though he had only drunk a small amount of wine, his heart was unusually restless, and this emotion intensified as he drew near Xiaolei. The feeling of being bound by a thousand ropes, tightening inch by inch, was incomparable to being drunk.

Pei Xiaolei moved closer to Xingwen, smelling the alcohol on him. Finding the scent wasn't strong, her worries eased slightly. She let him rub her hand against her face, thinking it was just her junior brother being affectionate. Seeing his dazed look, she found it amusing and playfully pinched his other cheek. Unexpectedly, instead of getting the benefit, Xingwen also grabbed her hand firmly!

"Xiaolei, actually I..."

"Actually what?" A deep male voice came from the doorway!

"Senior Brother?" The two looked towards the source of the voice in unison, their expressions different.

Xingwen hastily released Pei Xiaolei's hands and stood up somewhat uneasily. At this moment, the woman beside him had already walked up to her senior brother, her pretty face sparkling with surprise in the candlelight.

"What are you doing here so late, drunkard? Drink your tea and go rest!" Shi Wu handed Xing Wen a cup of tea, which he had somehow gotten from a maid, with one hand, while Pei Xiaolei gently held his other hand. Xing Wen

took the tea blankly, looking at his senior brother. A wave of annoyance washed over him. What had he been so guilty about? He had opened his mouth to argue, but his young lady, Pei Xiaolei, seemed completely oblivious to his frustration. Instead of standing up for him, she was adding fuel to the fire, helping her senior brother to push him out: "It was my oversight. Xing Wen, you should go back and rest. Your health is important. Senior brother can continue the game with me."

"But... I..."

"Fourth Young Master? Do you need this old servant to come in and help you?" Steward Zhao's worried voice came from outside the door. Steward Zhao had been waiting respectfully outside the door with a lamp lit.

Alas… time is not on my side. Xingwen downed the dull, tasteless tea in one gulp. Surrounded by enemies, he had no choice but to retreat and bid farewell to Shiwu and Xiaolei before returning to his room.

However, as soon as he left Pei Xiaolei's room, he stopped in the courtyard, turning back to look at the two intertwined figures reflected in the candlelight through the window. A mix of emotions welled up inside him—sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, and salty.

Looking up at the full, silvery moon hanging high in the sky, he knew tonight would be another sleepless night.

“Want to go for a walk?” Shiwu asked, looking down at Pei Xiaolei, who was now in his arms. She had been cooped up in the mansion for the past two days and was probably getting a little tired of it. Moreover, since Xiaolei had recovered somewhat, her energy had increased considerably. If there was nothing to do at night, she would stay up until midnight (11 p.m. to 1 a.m.) before finally falling asleep.

"Of course I want to!" Pei Xiaolei replied immediately with a smile, her eyes full of surprise and anticipation.

"Then let's go!" He smiled slightly, wrapped his arm around her, and leaped out of the mansion!

He didn't even give her a chance to take a few more glances at the bustling night scene of the Chu capital, its lights blazing and glittering.

After a few hops and hops between the bricks and tiles, they landed on a new boat, over three meters wide and about ten meters long, on the riverbank. The boatmen, who had been busy preparing the boat, quickly bowed upon seeing them and then disembarked to avoid suspicion. In a short while, only the two of them remained on the large boat, gazing at each other tenderly.

"Senior Brother, when did you buy this boat?" Pei Xiaolei asked, stepping down from his embrace and touching the edge of the boat, marveling at its exquisite craftsmanship, every carving and engraving delicate and beautiful.

"The Emperor of Chu sent it today!" Shi Wu said with a smile as he walked to the sail. With a pull, the pale purple sail billowed, and surrounding boats of all sizes made way. The magnificent little boat immediately sailed away into the wind.

He and she sat hand in hand at the bow, silent, simply enjoying the cool breeze carrying a faint fishy smell. Moonlight bathed them, casting a silvery glow. Their long shadows stretched across the boat, overlapping and mingling.

The boat slowly entered the fork in the river, heading towards a smaller channel, gradually leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the world. The channel narrowed, and there was no one else in sight. Under the bright moonlight, only their boat remained, slowly moving deeper into the river.

"Xiao Lei, close your eyes!" Shi Wu was unusually mysterious.

"Okay." Could there be a surprise? Pei Xiao Lei's heart leaped with excitement. Although she readily agreed, her eyes secretly remained open, ready to peek out at any moment.

"Xiaolei..." Shiwu, who had already gotten up and was personally steering the raft, smiled and reminded her again with a hint of helplessness.

"Oh!" Caught cheating, she could only pout slightly and obediently close her eyes. Sigh! She knew her senior brother was the hardest to fool.

The faint fishy smell in the river breeze was slowly masked by a sweet floral fragrance. With her eyes covered by Shiwu's hand, who didn't quite trust her character, she could only sense the changes in her environment through her nose and ears. Along with the low chirping of insects, the floral fragrance that filled her nostrils grew stronger. Her curiosity swelled to the point where she could hardly contain herself.

"You can open your eyes now!" Shiwu released his hand from her eyes and gently reminded her behind her ear.

Slowly opening her eyes, she was immediately stunned by the scene before her. Beautiful, beyond words. The river was full of pink lotus flowers vying for attention, and most magically, each one had a bright white light shining in its center, like countless lotus lanterns floating on the water. The difference is that those were made of paper, artificial. No matter how exquisitely crafted or how lifelike they were, they ultimately lacked that vitality.

The lotus flowers swayed in the breeze, releasing waves of intoxicating fragrance.

"So beautiful! Senior Brother, this place is truly beautiful!" She turned and shook Shi Wu's hand, shouting excitedly.

"There's something even more beautiful!" Shi Wu grinned, also infected by her joy. He smiled indulgently at her and flicked his finger. The fireflies hidden in the lotus hearts were startled and flew up, filling the sky with countless tiny fireflies. Pei Xiaolei opened her mouth, stunned by the beautiful scene. She remained speechless for a long while before finally coming to her senses.

She had barely recovered from her reverie when she almost burst out laughing again. A brazen firefly was stuck right in the center of her senior brother's hair bun. She reached out, but the height difference made it impossible to touch it. She had no choice but to pull Shi Wu down and sit with him at the bow of the boat. The firefly was clever; as soon as her senior brother moved, it scurried away.

People say, "A beautiful face and peach blossoms complement each other perfectly," but in her opinion, as long as you're handsome and beautiful, no matter what you're paired with, you're a heartbreaker. For example, the man before her, simply watching her quietly, had already stirred her heart.

"I missed you!" The man's hand gently stroked her face, a slightly itchy, tingling sensation.

"Nonsense, it's only been a day!" she replied softly, but the tender shyness in her voice was undeniable.

"I missed you!" Warm lips brushed against her face, lingering near her ear. The man's rapid breath, carrying a faint scent of alcohol, gently caressed her earlobe, making her tremble involuntarily. Memories of past tenderness bloomed vividly before her eyes.

"I missed you!" Light kisses pecked at the back of her neck, moving forward to her slightly parted lips. She only had time for a soft moan before her mouth was firmly enveloped. This was a kiss unlike his usual passionate, tempestuous ones; it was extremely tender and lingering, not making her heart skip a beat, yet deeply intoxicating her.

Her hands involuntarily encircled his neck, drawing them even closer. Their warm breaths mingled intimately, and the surrounding temperature seemed to rise several degrees.

When Shi Wu ended the kiss, Pei Xiaolei's cheeks were flushed red. Under the guidance of her senior brother, she had unknowingly half-lifted her skirt and knelt astride Shi Wu. This distance and height allowed them to look directly into each other's eyes.

"I missed you too!" she quickly pecked at him, the soft warmth of her body still lingering on his lips. Although she wasn't a virgin, this was the first time she had responded to his advances with both words and body in such a conscious state. Therefore, she still felt a little shy.

Shi Wu's breathing suddenly became heavy from her kiss. His dark eyes darkened, and with a gentle pull, he clearly uttered four words: "I want you!"

Pei Xiaolei, feeling the weight, felt her legs go weak and she squatted down halfway. Through the thin fabric of her clothes, she could clearly feel the heat and hardness of the man's erect penis. Under the bright moonlight, in this enchanting scene, even people seemed to become more honest. The heat mingled with the subtle friction through their clothing. He was in pain, and so was she. The aroused desire stirred a tightness and pain in her lower body.

"I want you too!" Pei Xiaolei's eyes were half-closed, half-open, her gaze alluring and passionate. She smiled slightly, then offered her lips, gently rubbing them together, deepening the kiss. This wasn't her first time with her senior brother; in their lovemaking, she had always been the passive recipient. But on such a captivating night, the occasional act of provocation from a woman was, to her, a novel and intriguing experience.

Her small hands slowly climbed onto Shi Wu's body, her slender waist held in his arms, most of her weight transferred to him. Her kiss gradually shifted from active to passive, the rhythm of the kiss and the subtle control she gained over the man's attention. She didn't mind, content to be a recipient of his unique and captivating kiss. She could never match the unique, alluring kiss of her senior brother. As Shi Wu's thin lips slowly kissed down his neck, her hands were not idle either, unconsciously following the rhythm of his lips, moving downwards and slipping inside his robes, loosening his elaborate attire layer by layer.

"Mmm..." A soft sigh escaped her lips, her head tilting slightly back. Her full breasts were already being taken into his mouth, the nipples being licked and bitten, already red and swollen, tinged with a strange pain. However, while she was touching the man before her, she had unknowingly had her clothes completely removed. Except for the thin, self-made thong covering her lower body, she was almost naked.

"This is unfair to me! Senior Brother is still so well-dressed!" Looking at Shi Wu, who was still relatively well-dressed compared to her, she felt somewhat resentful. After failing to remove Shi Wu's clothes, she bit her lip and looked at him, her fair body pressed tightly against his embrace. She gently poked at his fine robes, uttering a seemingly nonsensical complaint about the unfairness of their clothing.

"Hehehe...you..." Shi Wu watched her, clearly adding fuel to the fire yet completely oblivious, raise an eyebrow and chuckle softly. This girl, when she's confused, is truly utterly foolish. He helplessly flicked her small nose, then gently lifted her from his lap, pulling her slightly away so she sat upright on the scattered clothes. He then quickly stripped himself naked.

By the light of the ship's lamps, the moonlight, and the fireflies flitting around, Pei Xiaolei could clearly see everything about him: his broad chest, his lean and muscular frame. From his powerful physique, you couldn't find a single ounce of excess fat or flaw. Every line of his body was perfect, displaying the curves and strength of a man, yet never overly ostentatious.

This was a man no woman could resist.

In this environment, she suddenly felt a strange, almost awkward anticipation, hoping that the infamous line from the classic naked man dialogue, "Are you satisfied with what you see?" would come from her senior brother's mouth at this moment.

"Speak! Speak! Speak!" her inner anticipation grew stronger with each passing moment.

However, time ticked by, second by second, and aside from her ears perked up, her eyes wide open, and her saliva secretion working harder than ever, the man opposite her merely gave her a faint smile as she stared at her infatuated expression. There was absolutely no intention to satisfy her postmodern "a little shock is good for your health" mentality.

Alas, it's just a pity the author of this story is so unprofessional, inhumane, and unkind. How could she so cruelly crush her own heroine's curiosity under such a perfect, happy ending? Or at least have the senior brother say something like, "Sigh! What am I going to do with you?" to ease the tension. Even if it doesn't serve the heroine, it should at least consider the readers. (By the way, even in high-H stories, you need a God's-eye view occasionally! ^_^)

Why did she have to have the senior brother so cleanly and decisively pick her up, skin to skin, being forcibly held in his arms again? Look, on this dark and windy night, a lone man and woman, the female protagonist, so delicate and frail, is kneeling naked on top of a man. What's worse, she's using her long, slender, white hands, like an octopus, to tightly wrap around his neck, her head slightly raised, her red lips gently teasing him. Her jade-like buttocks are slightly raised, her private parts, through a thin, soaked silk fabric, pressed against the man's already erect, swollen, and enormous desire, circling back and forth, rubbing against him with each light kiss.

Soft breaths mingle with the man's heavy breathing, the air thick with the scent of lust, the surrounding pressure heavy and several degrees lower.

And so, under the watchful eyes of the unscrupulous author and numerous "pure" readers, the female protagonist of this story is thus inhumanely pushed step by step into a dangerous and extremely obscene "affair"!

A Boat Scene (Part 2)

Pei Xiaolei wrapped her arms around Shi Wu's neck, her head tilted back. In the moonlight, her delicate face, already flushed with a faint blush, was incredibly alluring. Her rosy lips parted slightly, gently teasing the man's warm, thin lips. It's said that men with thin lips are also fickle in love, but this rule seemed destined to be overturned when applied to her man.

She stuck out half of her fragrant tongue, lightly licking his thin lips. Taking advantage of the moment when his breathing became slightly erratic, she parted her pearly teeth and gently nibbled around his lower lip, as if tickling it. Shi Wu's eyes were slightly narrowed, and the corners of his mouth were slightly upturned, as if he was enjoying the woman's still slightly immature kiss. One of his hands roamed over her smooth, silky back, while the other rested on her chest, one hand grasping her high, round breasts, gently swirling and wantonly kneading them into various shapes.

As her red lips pressed completely against the man's, her tongue successfully prying open his half-closed lips, his tongue darted in, licking and entwining with her intruding pink tongue with serpentine dexterity. Soon, the initiative was snatched away by the man again. She, who had been so passionate and energetic just moments before, couldn't hold out for more than a few seconds before surrendering, leaving her only to close her eyes and enjoy the moment!

"Mmm..." Lost in the kiss, her lower body, which had been slowly rubbing against the man's hot, swollen member, was lifted slightly. Her panties, the only thing covering her, were ripped off in a flash. Before she could even feel the coolness, a large man's hand took its place, covering her slightly damp, soft vulva, pressing tightly against it. The warmth of the man's hand mingled with the heat of her lower body, surprisingly harmonious. He placed a finger against the tightly closed crevice, just as she had tormented him earlier. He didn't penetrate, but slowly moved it upwards and backwards along the opening, the slightly rough, calloused fingertip rubbing against her sensitive flesh. The extremely slow and ambiguous movement made her tense.

She gasped for breath, finally managing to escape a lingering, passionate kiss. She looked up, her gaze somewhat unfocused, at the man before her, whose eyes were clear and smiling. Her heart pounded again—she was in turmoil, truly in turmoil! She opened her mouth as if to say something, but instead, she supported her firm body, her upper body slightly upright, gently nibbling at the man's chin, his Adam's apple… His

fingers, driven by a martial spirit, stopped near the entrance, then slowly sank two fingers into the crevice. Parting her moist, tender flesh piece by piece, until he touched a smooth, raised area, his expression shifted. His thin, calloused fingertip pressed against it, gently moving back and forth, a subtle, almost imperceptible pressure and manipulation. The humidity around his large hand increased, and some slippery, transparent liquid slid out from a closed flower-like opening, staining his fingers. The woman's body began to sway slightly. Suddenly, he pressed down hard on the small, protruding clitoris.

"Mmm..." A sharp, tingling sensation rushed to her head. She tilted her head back, her body tilted downwards, and a heavy sigh escaped her throat. Her legs reflexively tried to squeeze inwards, but instead, they pushed his fingers, already pressed against the entrance of her passage, into her hot passage.

"Hmph..." The man's nimble, slender fingers, combined with the slippery secretions inside her, plunged deep into her narrow passage. Her body was already sensitive, and after the teasing, some clear, viscous liquid had flowed from her pink opening. The passage was narrow and hot; being inside it felt like melting.

He moved slightly, gently pushing in a little against the tight walls of her flesh. The woman on top of him arched her back, letting out a soft, drawn-out sigh. Her warm breath on his neck felt like a burning flame.

He entered slowly, his two fingers moving in and out gently a few times, as if leisurely strolling through a park, until the passage containing his fingers accepted his search. The hot, slippery passage was so wet it almost washed him away, only then did he stop this less-than-gentle act.

She, arched, head tilted back, her rosy lips slightly parted, eyes half-closed, face flushed, her body swaying slightly with the movement of his fingers. Her body was hot, and the place being violated was a chaotic mess, as if on fire, or as if she were starving, yet unable to reach the delicious food before her, a craving hanging high in the air. Her body, now so thoroughly teased by the man, was trembling, her lower body screaming with hunger and emptiness.

"Xiaolei, you're so beautiful!" Shi Wu lowered his head and kissed her lips, then buried his face in the back of her neck, gently biting her sensitive earlobe. His warm breath tickled her ear.

"Mmm...hehehe..." She trembled slightly, then giggled softly, her hands climbing up his neck again, her firm breasts pressed against his broad chest, half her weight hanging on him.

"Senior Brother, I like you! I like you so much! Do you know that?" As the man spread her legs, one hand supporting her buttocks, the other grasping his burning, enormous member, poised to strike, she suddenly reached out and touched his face, whispering.

Shi Wu was startled, the corners of his mouth slowly parting to reveal a barely concealed joy churning in his dark eyes. "I know!" He lowered his head and touched her lips, looking into her eyes gently as he answered.

The engorged, hard, massive sword, already pressed against her wet entrance, slowly slid in with his reply.

"Mmm..." Pei Xiaolei sighed softly, straightening her slender waist as she slowly sat down. Her pink lips, wide open, dripped with desire as she swallowed the hot, enormous manhood. The emptiness within her was filled inch by inch, packed tightly.

Shi Wu's movements were slow, pausing after each entry until her narrow passage had slightly adjusted to the intrusion's size before continuing.

Pei Xiaolei bit her lip, suppressing the increasingly intense agitation within her. When she looked up and saw the dense layer of sweat on Shi Wu's forehead, she felt a mixture of amusement and exasperation. Her senior brother was treating her too much like a porcelain doll. Although his size was indeed excessively long and thick, since a woman could even give birth, how could she not handle such a size? These past few days, they had clearly experienced so many intense moments of lovemaking, yet each time, he was still so cautious at the beginning, making the foreplay long and meticulous. Sometimes, when the passion reached its peak, it was unclear who was torturing whom. She thought about it and felt a surge of anger. Seriously, he deserved to be suffocated! He really underestimated her; she wasn't that fragile.

"Mmm..." Pei Xiaolei's body stiffened, her fingers gripping her senior brother's shoulders tightly. His red-hot, enormous iron pillar was already fully inserted into her body. The narrow passage inside her was swollen and full, leaving no gaps. Her face was flushed, feeling the walls of her vagina contract and squeeze, swallowing the enormous thing that was about to enter her mouth. She felt that thick, long penis, almost touching her cervix, trembling, and with the surging flow of blood, burning hotter and thicker. She breathed softly, nervous yet expectant.

"Relax!" Sensing her tension, Shi Wu lowered his head and kissed her slightly furrowed brow, soothingly saying, placing her kneeling legs on his waist. He gently slapped her flawless white buttocks with his large hand, the slight pain immediately diverting her attention and relaxing her tense nerves.

"Madam, I'm coming!" The man cupped her two white buttocks with both hands and moved slightly.

"Okay!" Her face suddenly flushed, burying her face in his neck, her fair legs immediately wrapping tightly around his waist like snakes, her lower body tightly embracing his desire, twitching slightly.

Her body was slowly lifted up, the large brown male member buried inside her, covered in her viscous, transparent secretions, slowly withdrawing from her tight inner orifice. Just as it reached the entrance, he suddenly thrust violently, her descent colliding with his forceful upward thrust, the huge male member plunging all the way in, the burning hot, arrow-shaped tip piercing straight into her uterus.

"Ah..." A jolt of electricity spread from her uterus, coursing through her entire body. Her head snapped back, her mind went blank, and a scream, a mixture of pleasure and pain, escaped her throat. Then, without pause, a series of increasingly intense thrusts followed, the screams turning into lingering moans. Her body burned, her lower body felt like it was on fire, and copious amounts of fluid were squeezed out with each thrust, some dripping onto her soft pubic hair, most soaking his testicles, his thighs, and his lower abdomen; some even splashed onto his navel.

Her body rose and fell with his thrusts, her lower abdomen contracting and releasing with each powerful stroke. The small boat beneath them rocked rhythmically, creating huge waves that crashed against the hull. The crashing waves masked the sounds of their bodies colliding, but couldn't drown out the increasingly rapid moans and low gasps in their ears.

"Ah... um... um... husband, wait... wait a minute, I..." Her voice was a mix of sobs and whimpers, her body a tingling, weak, and chaotic mess. Each time the man thrust in, regardless of speed, it penetrated extremely deep. Sometimes, like now, it would pause at a certain point, and amidst her pleas, he would mischievously circle and lightly touch that spot with his burning tip.

"What? Hmm?" Shi Wu asked in a seductive, low voice, a smirk playing on his lips. His enormous member withdrew from the spot that had caused her sobs, pulling away from her body and pressing against her erect clitoris, teasing it with gentle, rhythmic thrusts. His face was flushed, he was panting heavily, and his eyes were filled with a heavy, lustful gaze as he looked at the woman before him, continuing to coax her, "My lady, what do you want?"

"I want you! My husband, I want you..." Her once vibrant body suddenly felt empty. Her gaze was dazed as she looked at the handsome man before her, her mind reeling. She opened her mouth, the answer escaping without a second thought. When she came to her senses, the words were already out of her mouth. Her face flushed, she pulled the man's body down forcefully, trying to hide her embarrassment. But as she pulled, whether by chance or by his own design, the man's large, hard member pressed against her entrance. Her swollen, pink inner opening, like a hungry little mouth, opened and closed, sucking at the man's swollen, translucent red tip.

"Your husband obeys your command, my lady!" the man whispered in her ear, his deep voice carrying a bewitching allure.

He didn't enter her again immediately, but instead turned her over so her back was to him. A strong, large hand lifted her legs, like a child urinating—a very embarrassing position. Some cloudy white fluid dripped from Pei Xiaolei's tight passage, landing on the man's erect, throbbing member, sliding down his bulging veins.

He grasped his sticky member and pressed it against her entrance from behind, thrusting into her with a gasp. This position made it easier for him to penetrate her deeply, and she, feeling extremely embarrassed by the position, blushed and lowered her head. But this lowering of her head was unforgettable; she could clearly see her senior brother's enormous dragon slowly entering her body. He entered very slowly, starting from the tip against her private entrance, like a slow-motion rehearsal, letting her see every detail of how he loved her.

She breathed heavily, her beautiful face flushing even more vibrantly with each thrust of the man inside her, alluring and seductive.

Shi Wu licked and kissed Pei Xiaolei's back with the tip of his tongue, moving upwards to the sensitive spot behind her ear. His heavy breath tickled her skin, making her tremble slightly. Seeing this, he gently bit her earlobe, chuckling softly. He took her slender hand and placed it on her high, full breasts. His large palm then covered hers, pressing down on her fingers, their fingers intertwining and kneading her breasts. His hand then slowly moved down her breasts, past her navel, stopping at her lower abdomen and genitals. She could clearly feel her genitals rising and falling with the man's thrusts. If she moved any closer, she could even feel his dark, massive penis moving in and out.

"I love you! I love you so much, Xiaolei, you must remember that!" The man's tender words of love had barely left her ear when a sudden, forceful thrust plunged deep into her, hitting her G-spot.

"Mmm..." A surge of immense pleasure overwhelmed her, and before one wave subsided, another, even more violent, thrust into the same spot, then a third, a fourth...

This time, the impact was far more intense than any before, causing the small boat to rock violently in the water, with huge waves crashing against its hull one after another.

"Mmm... Stop... No... Stop, ah... Slow... Faster... Ah ha... Ah..." She screamed, cried, and moaned, her body trembling, her eyes glazed over. The heaving of her lower abdomen beneath his palm grew faster and higher with each thrust.

"Ah... Senior Brother... Slower, slower... Ah mmm..." The uncontrollable pleasure piled up heavily, pressing down on her, making her heart feel like it was about to explode.

Pei Xiaolei's cries didn't slow her husband down; instead, they made him suddenly release her legs, allowing her to stand firmly on the ground. He then quietly wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and after a few rapid, deadly thrusts, he suddenly pressed her body down forcefully, lifting his hips and thrusting upwards. With a deep, rough growl, a gush of hot fluid shot into her womb.

"Ugh..." At the same time, with a sharp spasm, her body arched, and a stream of clear, hot fluid gushed from deep within her, splashing onto the wooden board.

Her back remained arched for a while before slowly collapsing. Her consciousness faded, and she felt utterly weak, almost fainting. In her hazy state, she felt her senior brother turn her over, placing her legs around his waist again. He put a coat on her, and then held her, still trembling from the afterglow, in his arms, their bodies still tightly pressed together, without a single gap. A slight smile curved her brows and the corners of her mouth. She reached out and, with her last bit of strength, tightly embraced the man, a feeling of indescribable happiness welling up within her. It was as if this posture was the most suitable for them.

A Boat Scene (Part 2)

The night was deep, the wind had picked up, and the twinkling lights in the air slowly drifted back into the flower's heart. The night was so quiet, not even a chirp of insects could

be heard; the surroundings were desolate. "It's late, we need to go back to the cabin!" Shi Wu whispered to the sleeping woman nestled in his arms. He then got up, trying to pull away the human-shaped octopus clinging to him, but the moment he moved, she used her hands and feet to tighten her grip. His eyes suddenly darkened, and a low, heavy breath escaped his throat. The woman, still swallowing his manhood within his constricted body, had, with this slight movement, pushed the source of his barely suppressed impulse even deeper into her warm body.

"You silly girl!" He sighed helplessly, looking at the innocent-looking woman sleeping soundly in his arms. Her beauty, her kindness, her delicate features, her soft and supple body, her warm and comforting embrace… everything about her seemed like a poison, making him willingly addicted, intoxicated by a wondrous, sweet emotion, and never satisfied.

The night wind was growing stronger; they couldn't stay outside any longer. If they did, the woman he held so dear would catch a cold. With no other choice, he carried her into the room to rest, maintaining their current position. He supported her hips with one hand and pressed her slender waist with the other to prevent her from falling backward. But this gentle pressure only deepened their connection, allowing them to understand each other even more intimately.

Shi Wu stood up, and as he did so, he made a shallow yet forceful thrust. She seemed startled by his sudden action, and her small mouth let out an almost inaudible, alluring moan. Immediately, the narrow, smooth, and tender inner walls of her passage reflexively contracted and pushed, tightly gripping the already hard, thick, and fiery dragon inside her.

"Hiss..." He gasped, his steps faltering, the boat beneath his feet wobbling and swaying from side to side with the crashing wave. He lifted his foot and landed heavily, the boat immediately regaining its balance. This sudden change startled the woman on top of him; her legs clung tightly to his waist, her arms wrapped around him, her body trembling slightly, soft moans escaping the air.

"You're awake?" Shi Wu asked, looking down.

Pei Xiaolei slowly lifted her head from his embrace, her eyes shimmering with a languid allure, a faint blush returning to her delicate face. "Mmm!" she nodded shyly, loosening her grip on his neck slightly. She pulled away slightly, her breasts, pressed against his body, gradually regaining their full, alluring shape, the erect, rosy nipples brushing against his skin with a slight sting. She frowned, and a seductive moan escaped her lips, the soft sound carrying a particularly alluring and ambiguous quality in the quiet night.

Another step, and his enormous member thrust in slightly, the bulging veins rubbing against her already incredibly sensitive inner walls. His massive member swelled and hardened within her tightly embraced body, like a scorching iron rod firmly embedded inside. His pulsating blood surged within her, echoing her trembling pink inner walls, clinging tightly together.

It was a strange sensation; every movement of his foot tugged at her delicate nerves. His massive member, gently penetrating and withdrawing within her narrow passage, fueled her craving. The mere meters from the cabin felt like an eternity to her.

Pei Xiaolei buried her head, deeply nestled in her senior brother's arms, no longer daring to look at the glint in his dark eyes. She closed her eyes, listening to the pounding of their hearts, a calm before the storm that defined their relationship.

They entered the cabin and got into bed. Pei Xiaolei didn't even have time to glance at the various expensive and ornate decorations in the cabin; her eyes were filled with the sight of the man's muscular body slowly pressing down on her.

She lay on the soft bed, her legs, which had been wrapped around his waist, now loosened and arched casually. The man between her legs thrust forward with a sudden movement, his enormous penis penetrating her. Then, with a short scream from the woman beneath her, he thrust again with force. A sharper, trembling cry reached his ears, and her fingers, gripping his shoulders, dug deep into his flesh. His dark eyes deepened as he gazed at Pei Xiaolei, who was panting heavily beneath him. His narrow hips suddenly pulled back, and with a soft "pop," his still-erect, large, brown member completely withdrew from her body.

"Husband?" she asked, looking at the man before her with a puzzled expression. She watched him gently brush the hair clinging to her sweaty face. He slowly drew closer until she could clearly feel his heavy breath on her face.

"I love you!" A warm kiss touched her lips, and she heard the deep, resonant voice unique to this man.

"I love you too!" A sweet smile played on her lips, her soft voice alluring and seductive.

Without another word, the initial peck transformed into a passionate, lingering French kiss, its wildness and intensity undeniably captivating.

She breathed softly, her body still lingering in desire. Her lower entrance, swollen and red, trembled and contracted violently, slowly releasing a milky white trickle that flowed gently down her buttocks and thighs. His large penis, withdrawn from her, pressed against her private parts, gently rubbing and teasing. The brown tip, still glistening with his own thick, milky fluid, moved intermittently, sometimes brushing against her erect clitoris, staining her sensitive, red spot with specks of milky white. Other times, it lightly bumped and circled at her swollen entrance, a wet and provocative act that sent waves of ecstasy through Pei Xiaolei, her body involuntarily arching slightly in response to his movements.

His hands caressed her face, moving down her eyebrows, mouth, and neck, his warm, calloused palms tracing her silky smooth skin, igniting a fire everywhere.

Suddenly, one of her legs was pulled up and hooked onto his shoulder, while the other leg was placed around his waist. At this angle, her lower body was completely exposed to him. Warm lips kissed down her inner thigh...

"Hmm... Enough! Senior Brother, enough... Ah... Stop..." A familiar shiver swept over her as his tongue touched her. She couldn't take it anymore. Pei Xiaolei arched her body, her trembling voice pleading for mercy. She used all her strength to press down on his shoulders, preventing his lips from continuing to explore downwards. Her legs, hanging in the air, swayed weakly, and some milky white, salty substance dripped from between her legs, falling vertically onto the bed.

"Not enough...not enough!" The deep, resonant voice had barely reached her ears when Pei Xiaolei's legs were lifted high, spread at a ninety-degree angle, and draped over Shi Wu's shoulders. Her still-open private parts were brimming with fluid, which shimmered white under the lamplight. Shi Wu knelt between her legs, one hand around her slender waist, the other gripping his still-erect penis. Looking down at her trembling, swollen, rosy lips, he thrust in deeply, penetrating her womb.

"Ugh...ah..." The massive penis struck her most sensitive spot, and her entire body shuddered violently. A wave of intense pleasure spread from her womb, surging through her limbs like a tsunami, causing even her toes to arch uncontrollably.

"Gently...gently...uh...no...ah..." she pleaded intermittently, her long, slender, white legs dancing in the air, the battle between them never ceasing. Heavy breathing, deep, forceful thrusts—the man seemed to be using up all his ammunition in this moment. Each thrust was a full-force plunge, penetrating her depths, drawing blood and leaving no room for retreat; each withdrawal was clean and swift, the very tip withdrawn without a trace of lingering attachment. His dominance in lovemaking was like his command of troops in battle, invincible.

Large beads of sweat dripped from the man's forehead, landing on her and splashing into glistening droplets. Her entire body was flushed, and her slightly parted lips emitted hoarse, distorted sounds. The man on top of her gripped her slender waist, his thick, hard, and erect member gleaming, thrusting harder and faster into her already wet and chaotic body. She, at this moment, could do nothing but gasp, accept, and endure…

She lay limp on top of him, unaware of how many hours they had made love or how many positions they had tried. She only knew that speaking was now difficult, and she couldn't even lift her arms or legs. Fortunately, the dragon still deeply buried inside her had finally softened.

Their breathing gradually calmed, followed by a long silence. She wasn't the type of woman who liked to ramble on afterward, seeking reassurance, and her senior brother wasn't the type to simply release his desires and then turn away to sleep.

Yet, after such intense lovemaking, although their bodies were exhausted, their spirits remained high.

"Xiaolei!" The man broke the silence first, his warm hand gently stroking her disheveled, sweat-dampened hair, tucking strands behind her ear.

"Hmm?" She lay on his chest, her languid, alluring eyes half-closed, responding softly.

"Tomorrow, Ruomei and the Black Cavalry will arrive in Chu Capital. I must return to Xining with them!" The man's calloused fingers moved to her flushed face, slowly tracing their path, as gently as if carefully appreciating a fragile, precious object. The places where his fingertips touched felt tingly and numb.

"Leaving tomorrow? Why the rush?" Pei Xiaolei looked up at Shi Wu. She had already guessed that Ruomei and the others were coming, but she found it strange that they were leaving so suddenly. So she continued to ask, "What happened in Xining?"

Shi Wu nodded and replied, "Several neighboring tribes and bandit groups have suddenly colluded, not only burning, killing, and looting in some border towns and villages, but also inciting a group of refugees to cause trouble everywhere along the border!"

"Are they difficult to deal with?" she continued to ask.

He shook his head and replied calmly, "Clearing them out isn't difficult, but the mastermind behind the troublemaking is very familiar with the vast desert and Gobi terrain along the border. Every time we chase them there, we are forced to return empty-handed because we can't find their exact location." After speaking, he paused, pursed his lips, and continued, "After several such rounds, that kid Neng Shang is almost driven to the brink of madness. Not only did he wipe out the entire group of troublemakers, but he also threatened to kill all the tribespeople who were his accomplices and take over their territory." "It's being transformed into a commercial city, and preparations are already underway. The lieutenants can't stop it; they're driven to distraction by his temperament. It's a chaotic mess, with complaints pouring in from the moment we've been able to contact him. If I rush back, that kid Neng Shang will definitely cause a huge uproar!"

Although Shi Wu spoke of Neng Shang in a lighthearted and joking tone, Pei Xiaolei's heart tightened upon hearing the name. She couldn't laugh; a complex mix of emotions swirled within her.

"What's wrong?" Seeing her expression, Shi Wu asked, looking down.

"Hmm..." She shook her head, then asked in a muffled voice, "Will you...blame me?"

"Blame you? Blame you for what?" This was a completely unexpected question. Shi Wu was taken aback and asked in confusion.

Pei Xiaolei paused again, her head bowed low, not daring to look at him. Her voice was hoarse, her tone hesitant as she said, "I...I've already...already consummated our marriage with my second and third senior brothers!"

Hearing this, he suddenly pressed her down beneath him, forcing her to look at him. His deep black eyes met hers, their pupils unfathomable.

After a long while, he sighed heavily, gently wiping away the tears that silently welled in her eyes. He said with heartache, "Girl, whatever your reasons for marrying us, we have indeed bowed to heaven and earth with you, performed the formal rites, and are undeniably your rightful husbands. What's wrong with some intimacy between husband and wife?"

"Reasons? You all knew?"

"Yes, who can you fool with your little schemes? If we weren't willing, who in this world could truly force us!"

"Xiaolei, all these years, you've used various excuses to send us far away. There are some things I haven't had a chance to tell you. Actually, from the day I entered the manor, I knew my purpose in your life. Master and Mistress have devoted themselves to teaching us martial arts, not only so that we could use sexual intercourse to reduce the cold poison in your body and improve your martial arts, thus prolonging your life, but also because they've truly raised us like their own children. Besides martial arts, they've hired many teachers to teach us various subjects, and as we grew older, they sent us to the core of different fields to practice and learn. In this world, besides you, Master and Mistress have used their talents to treat us..." The energy between my fellow disciples probably surpasses that of many biological siblings in the marketplace.

Over a decade ago, the moment I saw you, I knew you were my wife, the woman I could never part with for the rest of my life. I'm a few years older than you, and I matured early. In my youthful arrogance, I dreamed of possessing you for life. To be closer to you in the future, I recklessly practiced martial arts. Moreover, seeing my fellow disciples fawning over you always made me want to beat them up. When

you were twelve, your illness suddenly worsened. I rushed back from the border, and the first thing I asked my master for was to consummate our marriage. My master stared at me for a long time before saying, "Let's see what you can do." At that time, I didn't understand the meaning of those words. It wasn't until evening, when we went to your room to discuss it, that we were kicked out. Seeing our second junior brother outside, holding a medicinal meal and wearing the same bitter smile, we realized that our hopes were merely wishful thinking on our part with Master and Mistress. No one can force you to do what you don't want to do. But none of us imagined that after all this commotion, you would become even more indifferent to us, your fellow disciples. You're so polite to everyone, intentionally or unintentionally drawing a deep chasm between us.

In a single night, several worlds separated us. How could I not understand your thoughts and concerns?

When you were thirteen, Mistress's old illness flared up, and the illness was severe. Master, without telling you, hurriedly summoned us senior brothers and hastily spoke of... Regarding the marriage, the first thing I said was that it was up to each of us to decide whether to agree to it. Admittedly, at that time, I thought I had the chance to have you all to myself, but unexpectedly, none of the four of us were willing to back out of this marriage. In the unwavering determination in their eyes, I seemed to see my own reflection. Their love for you was no less than mine.

You were afraid of ruining us, always pushing us away, not realizing that without you, our world would be nothing. So, that year, I secretly conspired with my master and mistress, hiding it from everyone else, and told you a lie, a lie that would only work on you! Shi Wu lowered his head and kissed Pei Xiaolei's ear, softly revealing a great secret.

Pei Xiaolei was stunned, unsure whether the heavy feeling welling up inside her was from being shocked by the truth, moved, or relieved; tears simply streamed down her face like pearls from a broken string.

She continued her story, recounting her love of martial arts: "I thought I wouldn't survive that summer. If my father hadn't suddenly mentioned it, I would never have known that if I didn't marry you, for the sake of the power balance of the most powerful clan in the land, on the day I died, you would all be forced to be my bodyguards and buried with me. I know your personalities; you would definitely agree to be buried alive with me without hesitation. Therefore, there is only one path before me: only by marrying me can you truly become members of the Pei family. As long as we don't consummate our marriage, after I pass away, you will be my widows." As the undisputed heir to the Pei family, no one could question it anymore. At that time, I didn't know my mother was seriously ill. I even thought that even if I were gone, years later, my loving parents would one day see through this empty marriage and find me a suitable wife.

How foolish I was! Back then, I always thought I was the one who would reach the end of my life at any moment. I always thought my parents would naturally be with me until the very end. But life is so fragile and unpredictable. The two people who loved me most in the world suddenly... They left, as if they had already arranged everything around them, except for forgetting to tell me that they were leaving, unable to stay with me, and would leave this world before me, without even giving me time to adjust. They passed away hastily, and then everything piled up, leaving me no time to grieve. Or perhaps this was my parents' last act of love, already planning how to minimize my pain in the shortest time after their departure.

In those days, I thought a lot. I am a selfish person; I don't want to experience the pain of being left alone again.

I know that in this world, the only person who could make my senior brother willingly be deceived and forced is me! And only my senior brother has the ability to suppress the other disciples. I want you to promise not to use that method of replenishing yin with yang to save me, and I also want you to guarantee to stop the other three from using that method to prolong my life. I know I am cruel, but I cannot watch any of you lose your martial arts and your essence because of me. On the road to the Yellow Springs, I don't want to see any of you go before me." As she spoke

, Pei Xiaolei changed the subject, her emotions suddenly becoming more turbulent and uneasy, and tears fell even more heavily.

“Senior Brother, all these years, I really didn’t mean to send you so far away to Xining. I didn’t mean to distance myself from you, but I had no choice.”

“Don’t say it, girl! Don’t say it!” Shi Wu hugged her tightly, his voice a little hoarse.

Pei Xiaolei shook her head, choking back tears as she continued, "But later, when I recovered, I found myself becoming increasingly greedy when I looked at you all. I liked Second Senior Brother, and I couldn't refuse Third Senior Brother. Now, even you, I want to selfishly possess you for life, using that marriage certificate as an excuse to avoid thinking about anything... I'm so greedy..."

Shi Wu embraced the weeping girl in his arms, his heart clenching. He gently kissed her face, wiping away her tears as if trying to erase all her sorrow.

“You can be even more greedy, Xiaolei, you can be even more greedy! Nothing compares to me, to being able to hold a healthy you like this now, that’s even more greedy. Silly girl, we are yours to begin with, your husbands. To receive your love is something we never dared to dream of. You’re not a stubborn woman, so why are you getting so fixated on this? I’m so grateful that you can love me and respond to my long-cherished wish, how could I blame you for being greedy!”

Shi Wu’s short words seemed to snap the shackles in Pei Xiaolei’s heart off. But instead of laughing through her tears, she cried even harder. She had kept these thoughts bottled up for too long, the snowball of conflict between reason and emotion growing bigger and bigger. All sorts of ideas, all sorts of guesses, and the fragile relationship between her and her senior brothers, as thin as paper, all sorts of emotional and moral anxieties, weighed heavily on her, making it hard for her to breathe.

Shi Wu held her in his arms, gently patting her back, softly comforting her. The woman in his arms seemed to be the same little girl from over ten years ago, the one who would always wrinkle her nose, reluctantly drink a large bowl of dark medicine, then tug at his clothes, asking him for dates in a childish voice.

"Senior Brother!" she sniffed, her voice still pitiful.

"Hmm?" Shi Wu asked softly.

"Pigeons, we can catch some live birds and keep them in sealed boxes made of mud. Remember to put some water and food inside, and leave some small ventilation holes around the bottom. Then place these boxes along the roads of the Gobi Desert. The pigeons will squawk inside, and when someone passes by, most people will be curious and open the boxes to check, and the birds will fly back into the sky. That way, we can know the enemy's exact location..." Her voice grew softer and softer, as if she were about to fall asleep.

"Use birds as a signal?" He pondered for a moment, then smiled, looking down at the intelligent woman in his arms with doting affection. He gently kissed her forehead and exclaimed, "You came up with a solution in such a short time, girl, you're really clever!"

Pei Xiaolei accepted his praise and kiss, her gaze fixed on the colorful painting of a hundred birds hanging in the cabin. She smiled slightly; in fact, she had been looking at this painting when the idea suddenly struck her.

A wave of drowsiness washed over her, and she couldn't help but yawn softly, burying her head in Shi Wu's arms. Soon, under Shi Wu's care, she fell into a deep sleep.

A gentle breeze blew in, diluting the strong scent of passion that filled the cabin... leaving only a faint, sweet fragrance lingering in the room.

Author's Note: Alas~ Poor senior brother, he was actually rejected~~Tears streaming down my face~~~
Continuing to shout: Everyone, please don't be so domineering!!!

After enduring so many years, I finally jumped into a bottomless pit! I couldn't resist the temptation and watched Togashi's *Hunter x Hunter*... Oh my god!
But seriously, *Hunter x Hunter* is really good. I spent several days reading it and almost laughed myself to death! Hikaru and Kiro are so cute, and their relationship is so ambiguous! Now I know why there are so many fanfics about them! Hahahaha...

I saw Nobita again. He

was on night duty today. Around 3 AM to 5 AM Beijing time, he took advantage of the shift change to go to the bathroom. Passing by the entrance of Yiqingju, seeing no one around, he sneaked in. Normally, a place like Yiqingju is not a place a lowly servant like him can enter and exit at will. Today, he must have had a death wish to do this trespassing.

Yiqing Residence was vast. He wandered around inside for almost half an hour, stopping and starting, without seeing a single person. He had rehearsed his prepared lines hundreds of times, but still hadn't found a single opportunity to use them.

Suddenly, with a "whoosh," a dark shadow leaped over his head. "A thief?" A chill ran down his spine. He immediately picked up a thick wooden stick from the ground and gave chase.

"A blind little thief? How dare he steal from the Prime Minister's residence!" Cheng Shun cursed inwardly, gripping the stick and watching the shadow disappear into the inner room. Standing at the door, he took a deep breath, preparing to rush in and drag out the fool who had no idea who he was, giving him a good beating.

The door slammed open, and a handsome man walked out.

"What are you doing here?" the man asked coldly, glancing at the stick in Cheng Shun's hand.

"Young Master?" With a "thud," the wooden stick fell to the ground. Cheng Shun, mouth agape, stared at Shi Wu before him, his legs buckling, and he knelt down with a thud. His tongue trembled as he stammered out a detailed account of what he had just witnessed.

Before he could finish, Shi Wu waved his hand, saying, "This is none of your business. You can leave!"

Cheng Shun's heart skipped a beat. He quickly scrambled to his feet, but not forgetting his manners, he respectfully clasped his hands in a salute before turning to run. But he had only run a few meters when a figure standing under a large tree nearly scared him out of his wits.

"Master!" He knelt down again with a thud, his voice trembling. Damn it, please forgive him! He truly knew he was wrong; he would never dare to run around like this again. "Master!"

After a long while, seeing no response from Xing Wen, he called out again, his voice trembling.

...Still no reaction. His master seemed completely oblivious to him, clenching his fists, pursing his lips, his eyes fixed intently on the room the young master had just emerged from, saying nothing. A night breeze blew, causing his robes to flutter slightly, but unable to shake off the leaves that had fallen on his shoulders. He looked at the mist-dampened hem of his master's robes, then at the number of fallen leaves around him. Could it be? Could it be that his master had stood here all night? A jolt of fear shot through him

, and he couldn't help but boldly look up...but immediately lowered his head again, his body trembling slightly, his heart filled with terror.

For the first time, he saw something called panic in this handsome, elegant, always composed, legendary young man who could turn the world upside down with a flick of his wrist.

He silently rose and quietly retreated, not daring to linger for even a moment longer. As he left Yiqing Residence, he couldn't help but look back. His master was no longer visible, but the scene from just moments ago remained etched in his mind, impossible to erase.

Master, you're still just a young man who hasn't even reached adulthood yet.

"Miss, you're awake? Would you like something to eat?" A familiar voice came from above.

With help, Pei Xiaolei sat up halfway and looked at the woman in front of her, asking, "Ruomei? When did you arrive? Where is Senior Brother?" "

This servant arrived at Chenshi (7 to 9 AM Beijing time). The eldest young master returned to Xining with the Black Cavalry at noon. This is a letter he left for you!" Ruomei draped a thin robe over her, took out a letter from her bosom, and handed it to her, answering with a smile.

Pei Xiaolei took it, unfolded it, and read it carefully. The corners of her mouth slowly curved into a smile!

"Miss, what did the young master say in his letter? You're smiling so happily! Oh... Miss, you're blushing!" Ruomei leaned closer, asking with a curious smile.

"You silly girl, stop teasing me. Come help me change, I'm starving!" Pei Xiaolei blushed, quickly putting away the letter in her hand. She glanced at the bright sun outside the window and changed the subject, asking, "What time is it now?"

Ruomei hadn't seen what was written in the letter, but she could clearly see the tiny pink marks all over her young mistress's body. Her eyes crinkled into a smile, growing even more suggestive. She cleared her throat with a "humph" before replying seriously, "It's already Shenshi (3 PM to 5 PM Beijing time)! By the way, the Fourth Young Master came by a few times earlier, but seeing you weren't awake, he didn't want to disturb you."

"Oh, Xingwen's here?" Pei Xiaolei was taken aback, finding it odd, and asked again, "Did he say what he wanted to see me about?"

Ruomei shook her head, saying, "The Fourth Young Master didn't say anything. He just sat outside by himself. Later, someone called for a meeting, and he left. After a while, he came back and sat there. It's been like this, back and forth. I've lost count of how many times he's come!"

Pei Xiaolei took the hot towel Ruomei offered, wiped her hands, and took the cup for rinsing her mouth, continuing, "Is he still outside?"

"No! He was just called away again!"

"Oh! Then if he comes again later, just let him in! This isn't a manor; let's skip the complicated rules!"

"Yes!" Ruomei replied, her hands busy at work. After a light application of makeup, a beautiful woman with delicate features and captivating eyes appeared before her. She smiled and handed the last hairpin to Pei Xiaolei. This small black iron hairpin was something her mistress had always insisted on fastening herself.

"Miss, you're so beautiful!" Ruomei exclaimed, looking at the woman before her. In just over a month, her mistress's appearance had surpassed even her former beauty, especially the unconsciously alluring sensuality emanating from her eyes, which even stunned Ruomei herself.

Pei Xiaolei smiled faintly, not refusing Ruomei's praise. To be honest, since the domineering martial arts she possessed had been removed and she now had internal energy protecting her, her health had indeed improved day by day, and her complexion had improved considerably.

Inside the room, a warm and harmonious atmosphere prevailed, but outside, a woman's scream suddenly rang out, followed by a cacophony of shouts.

"What's going on outside?" Pei Xiaolei asked in surprise, looking towards the door.

Ruomei suddenly slapped her forehead, her face immediately contorted with worry, as if the heavens were against her, and cried out in frustration, "Oh my god, that big black bear is causing trouble again!"

"A big black bear?" Upon hearing this, Pei Xiaolei's mind raced. She jumped up from her chair, lifted her skirt, and ran straight outside.

"Daxiong!" she shouted from the courtyard, addressing the black bear that

was confronting a group of servants not far away. The black bear, as large as two people and confronting the servants, seemed startled by the call, then slowly turned its head. Upon seeing Pei Xiaolei standing not far away, it immediately let out an excited cry, and with a "thump," leaped high over the heads of the servants surrounding it, running straight towards the woman.

"Miss, danger!" everyone cried out in panic, rushing towards her in a swarm.

"Awooo..." The big black bear leaped in front of her, landing on all fours. Amidst the gasps of the crowd, its pair of watery black eyes looked pitifully at Pei Xiaolei.

"Big bear! Long time no see!" Pei Xiaolei smiled at it, reaching out to stroke its large, fluffy black head.

"Awooo..." The bear let out a long howl, immediately bringing its head closer, lowering it further and lower, until it was slowly rubbing against Pei Xiaolei's feet.

"Hehehehe..." Pei Xiaolei giggled, amused by its憨憨 (simple and honest) and adorable appearance.

The surrounding servants were sweating profusely. This big black bear, when it first arrived that morning, had been impossible for more than twenty people to catch. Later, it alarmed the young master, who simply "humphed," and the black bear obediently lay down on the ground, letting them settle it. They had initially thought that no one but the young master could handle this beast, but now… watching the incredibly strong black bear suddenly act like a puppy, rolling around on its back in front of the young lady, looking all happy and smug, they were utterly speechless, completely stunned by reality. What was going on?!

“Da Xiong, do you want to eat this?” Pei Xiaolei asked, pointing to a trembling maidservant who was slumped on the ground holding two large food boxes.

“Awooo… Awooo!” Da Xiong blinked its big black eyes and nodded vigorously at the two large black food boxes.

“Xia Yu, what’s in here?” Pei Xiaolei asked the maidservant on the ground.

The maidservant, Xia Yu, sniffled and trembled as she knelt down, reporting, “These are pastries personally delivered to you, young lady, by the third young lady of Minister Chen’s family and the granddaughter of Grand Tutor Liu!”

“Oh? Personally delivered to me?” Pei Xiaolei raised an eyebrow, quite amused.

She took a few steps closer, took out a peach shortbread from the food box, held it in her hand, looked at it, and… The presentation looks quite nice! Those two young ladies must have put some thought into it, so she asked again, "Are the two young ladies still here?"

"The two young ladies have already been sent back by Steward Zhao! Steward Zhao said these pastries were a gift for the young ladies, so he asked me to bring them here for them to dispose of!"

Pei Xiaolei put the peach shortbread pastries in her hand into Da Xiong's mouth, and then asked it with a smile, "How does it taste?"

"Awooo..." Da Xiong nodded, seemingly enjoying it very much. One paw was in its mouth, and its big black eyes were fixed on the remaining pastries in the food box. Saliva dripped all over the ground, and it looked very greedy.

Pei Xiaolei was amused by its antics and picked up another pastry of a different flavor, feeding it to the bear. After a while, she looked at Xia Yu and asked casually, "What else did they say?"

Xia Yu stared blankly at the black bear that loved pastries for a long time. It wasn't until Pei Xiaolei asked her a second time that she snapped out of her shock and stammered, "They said, 'If Madam likes these pastries, we'll make some new ones for her to try!'"

Madam? Ha! It seems these young ladies from official families are not only well-informed but also quite clever!

"It seems these young ladies are really thoughtful. How about this, pick two of each kind and send them to my room. The rest are for our big bear!" After saying that, she picked up a small pastry and tossed it high into the air. The big bear opened its mouth, jumped up, and caught it perfectly. Then it licked its lips and retreated several feet away, staring at the pastry in her hand with expectant eyes.

"What's going on?" A familiar voice came from behind.

"Master!" The servants around them all knelt down, heads bowed, unsure who should speak on their behalf.

"It's just a small misunderstanding! This is a friend I met on the road, named Da Xiong!" Pei Xiaolei turned to Xingwen, pointing to the large bear that had run back to her. She

patted Da Xiong's black head and continued introducing him to Xingwen: "Da Xiong, this is my junior brother, Xingwen! He's very busy, so you can't bother him."

"Awoo... Awoo..." Da Xiong tilted its black head, looking at the man not far away, then at Pei Xiaolei, blinked, and nodded. But after a short while, its attention was drawn to the two boxes of snacks nearby.

"Ruomei, you feed Da Xiong first!" Pei Xiaolei handed one food box to Ruomei, while Xia Yu put the snacks she had chosen into the other box, hiding far away, not daring to approach Da Xiong again.

Pei Xiaolei, seeing Xia Yu's tearful face, so frightened she was about to cry, felt sorry for her and quickly had her take the pastries back to the house and arrange them.

Following behind Xingwen, Steward Zhao, seeing there was nothing more for him to do, led the surrounding servants to take their leave. The large courtyard was now left with only Pei Xiaolei, Xingwen, and Ruomei, who was holding a food box and watching Daxiong warily.

"Awooo..." Daxiong roared, taking a few steps back and assuming a martial arts stance.

Ruomei's brow twitched, and she coldly squeezed out a sentence through clenched teeth: "Black Bear, it seems you're not planning to cooperate?" With that, she tossed the food box aside, put one hand behind her back, and with the other, in a gesture that could be considered a tripping maneuver, beckoned to Daxiong.

"Awooo... Awooo..." Daxiong watched helplessly as his rations were thrown to the ground, and as two small, pink, peach-shaped pastries that looked quite delicious rolled out of the box, his expression one of anxious heartache!

...

And so, Pei Xiaolei finally got to witness the martial arts skills of this kung fu black bear firsthand.

As for the grudge between Ruomei and the bear, if we were to truly trace it back, it would have to start more than a month ago.

One day, in a certain month of a certain year, on a dark and windy night, Ruomei and the Black Cavalry, as always, diligently pursued Pei Xiaolei's whereabouts. While camping in the countryside, with ingredients and seasonings scarce, Ruomei painstakingly prepared a large pot of rare wild game soup, intending to reward the Black Cavalry who had taken such good care of her along the way.

However, just as it was about to be served, a large black bear suddenly burst out of the river, completely oblivious to its surroundings, and not only knocked Ruomei flat on her back but also crushed her precious red jade casserole, which she had treasured for over ten years, to pieces, leaving not a trace.

Then, of course, came a fierce fight, with neither gaining the upper hand in martial arts. During several chases through the forest, poor Ruomei tragically collapsed, succumbing to her terrible sense of direction. She wandered aimlessly through the dense jungle until utterly exhausted, finally being tragically rescued by the Black Riders who had gone out to find her. However

, no one could have imagined that this was only the beginning of her complicated relationship with Daxiong.

Ever since his encounter with Ruomei, Daxiong had become very interested in her martial arts style, clinging to her like a shadow. Ruomei couldn't defeat him, nor could she avoid him, and was constantly driven to distraction by this reckless black bear. The Black Riders, on the other hand, were no match for him in a one-on-one fight, and their traps failed to fool the clever bear, wasting a lot of bait in the process.

Fortunately, this strange black bear simply followed them along the way, seemingly without any malice. Sometimes it even inadvertently helped them, and it often caused quite a few amusing and silly incidents, much to the amusement of the Black Cavalrymen. Over time, a kind of revolutionary friendship developed between the men and the bear.

However, this friendship did not extend to Ruomei and the bear; more accurately, they were mutually repulsive. Whenever they met, it was either a case of man biting bear, or bear biting man, making their long and tedious search for the bear quite a spectacle. Later, after making contact with Shiwu, the Black Cavalrymen recounted the black bear's exploits to their superiors as amusing anecdotes. Who knew the reply they received was to take the black bear with them and take good care of it…

You don’t want me anymore.

Pei Xiaolei picked up a pork, glutinous rice, and pine nut pastry shaped like a dumpling from the plate and put it in her mouth. While the color, aroma, taste, and shape of these pastries were far inferior to her senior sister and Ruomei, and even compared to the chefs in the Prime Minister's residence, the cooking skills were still lacking. However, although the taste wasn't outstanding, it was still decent and not bad. Having slept all day, she was quite hungry. After trying a few pastries and drinking a cup of flower tea to cleanse her palate, she finally paid attention to her junior brother sitting silently across the table.

Ruomei and the bear had engaged in a fierce fight outside and then disappeared, no one knew where they were fighting now. Xia Yu had already been sent out early in the morning, leaving only the two of them sitting on either side of a small round mahogany table in the room.

"What's wrong?" Pei Xiaolei asked. Her junior brother had been frowning ever since he entered the room, his handsome face shifting between light and shadow, looking rather strange.

He shook his head, remaining silent, just staring intently at her.

"Ruomei said you've come to my place several times today?" she continued to remind him.

He still shook his head... biting his lip, looking quite pitiful.

Pei Xiaolei sighed inwardly at his appearance. This child, why is he still so awkward! Ignoring him, she picked up a book and began reading with relish. A slight smile played on her lips. Anyway, her junior brother never kept quiet in front of her.

"Xiaolei!" Sure enough, after a short while, the taciturn man finally spoke.

"Hmm?"

"Last night, you, you and Senior Brother he... you..." He asked hesitantly, his eyes fixed on her neck.

"Last night?" Pei Xiaolei followed his gaze, touching her neck. A sudden realization struck her, her face burning hot. Good heavens, she never imagined Xingwen would come all this way to ask about something like this.

"Uh..." She composed herself, suppressing her shyness and unease, and looked up at the somewhat anxious man before her. After a long pause, she nodded and said, "Yes, I've already slept with my senior brothers!"

Xingwen's eyes darkened slightly, a fleeting pang of pain rising from the depths of his gaze.

"And us? When...?" He leaned closer, suddenly grabbing Pei Xiaolei's hands, ignoring the question, and looked intently into her eyes, asking urgently.

Their eyes met, so close, yet their thoughts were worlds apart.

Pei Xiaolei silently withdrew her hand from Xingwen's grasp, her expression suddenly turning somewhat solemn. She slowly poured a cup of tea and placed it in front of Xingwen, then picked up a beautifully presented pastry from the plate in front of her and placed it before him, saying, "These pastries were personally delivered by the third young lady of Minister Chen's family and the granddaughter of Grand Tutor Liu. They taste quite good, and they were made with great care. Please try them!"

Xingwen ignored what was placed in front of him, maintaining his previous posture, his eyes fixed on Pei Xiaolei, without uttering a word.

Seeing his indifferent expression, Pei Xiaolei sighed inwardly, placed a few more pastries in front of him, and slowly said, "Junior Brother, in a couple of days, Ruomei and I will be returning to the manor. After this trip, I probably won't be coming out again for a long time! I'm relieved to see you're doing well in Chu."

Pei Xiaolei stood up, turned to look out the window, avoiding Xingwen's probing gaze, and continued, "My senior brothers and I have already consummated our marriages, and it's a done deal now, but it's different for you!" She turned back, her gaze clear as she looked at Xingwen, and said in neat, square characters, "You still..." "You have a choice. Our marriage was just a temporary measure for me back then. Now that I've recovered my health, those worries are gone! You don't need to trap yourself in such a meaningless marriage. Junior brother, you have many more, better choices. Look at the third young lady of Minister Chen's family, the granddaughter of Grand Tutor Liu… and so many other girls and ladies who admire you. They can all give you a normal family, a complete love."

Xingwen just stared at her, his face pale, listening silently, still speechless, sitting there like a wooden figure.

Pei Xiaolei couldn't bear it, walked back to him, looked at him, and whispered, "With one wife and four husbands, I can't give you a complete relationship, and I don't want to delay you any longer, do you understand?"

Another silence fell, the room so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

He continued to look at her, his lips pressed tightly together, his eyes unreadable except for the clear, tear-filled wells, a heart-wrenching sight.

"You...don't want me anymore?" After a long pause, a trembling, bitter, pleading, incredulous voice escaped his throat.

"I didn't abandon you!" Pei Xiaolei answered immediately, grabbing Xingwen's trembling hand, soothing him, "You'll always be my junior brother, my most important family member. I won't abandon you!"

Xingwen looked at her through teary eyes, something inside him crumbling, emotions burning fiercely. Anger and resentment seized control of his mind in an instant. With a sudden, forceful pull, he yanked Pei Xiaolei off the chair, pinning her to the armrests, his arms around her, looking down at her, leaving her nowhere to escape.

"I don't want a choice, and I don't want to be your junior brother forever!" he said, his eyes red. Then, a fierce kiss landed heavily on her lips. Unable to pry open her teeth, he sucked and bit her lips forcefully, forcing her to cry out in pain. He then forced his way into her mouth, their lips clashing against each other, drawing a few streaks of bright red blood.

"Xingwen!" she mumbled incoherently, trying with all her might to push away the man on top of her. But the strength of a man and a woman was ultimately vastly different; she struggled for a long time, but to no avail.

Only when they were both nearly breathless did Xingwen finally pull away from her mouth, his red eyes looking down at her. A tear slid from his eye and fell onto Pei Xiaolei's cheek. Her voice trembled slightly, a low plea tinged with a heavy nasal tone: "Xiaolei, please don't leave me alone, okay? I'll do anything you want except this! No matter how good other women are, they're not you!"

Not me after all? Pei Xiaolei looked at the man before her, sighed, and said, "Please let me go, okay?" Her soft voice also trembled slightly. She hadn't even recovered from the shock of Xingwen's wild and forceful kiss, and his words and the tears falling on his face had left her feeling weak.

Xingwen nodded, released his hands from hers, freeing her, and knelt down in front of her, meeting her gaze.

Pei Xiaolei looked at his long, slightly damp eyelashes still glistening with water droplets, and sighed inwardly. She took out a silk handkerchief from her bosom, dabbed it on his face, and gently wiped away the blood from his lips. Her movements were gentle and meticulous, but she suddenly felt puzzled. She thought to herself, "I was the one who was forcibly kissed and taken advantage of just now, so why does it seem like I'm the one who bullied him?

" "I don't want to abandon you. I hope you can think carefully about your future! I understand your feelings now, but as a woman, I can't give you a complete and focused love like other women do. The feelings I can give you are fragmented, and that's not fair to you!" Seeing his expression, Pei Xiaolei sighed and could only explain again, albeit in a tedious way.

"Is that fair to me? You won't even give me a quarter of your affection, is that fair? We got married together, we went through the wedding ceremony together, do you really think I was young and immature back then?" Xingwen grabbed Pei Xiaolei's shoulders, his eyes flashing with a white light. "Do you really think I was just playing along with your expedient scheme? Do you really think I don't understand what marriage is? Do you really think..." As he spoke, his throat tightened and he couldn't utter a sound.

"I'm sorry! Xingwen, I won't say anymore, I won't say anymore..." Pei Xiaolei looked at the man in front of her, her heart softened, her eyes stinging, and she opened her arms and hugged him tightly, gently patting his back, her heart filled with mixed emotions.

After a long while...

"You won't abandon me?" a muffled voice asked.

"Yes!" She nodded.

"You don't want me to choose anymore?" There was still a heavy nasal tone in her voice.

"Yes!" She nodded again.

"Then, when will we consummate our marriage?"

Bloodstained Ai

Tang felt a raging fire burning in his abdomen, his whole body gradually becoming numb and weak. He slightly opened his eyes, watching the young eunuch walk by and untie his hands, then respectfully retreat to the side, his face expressionless. After this night, these young eunuchs would be executed. Every few days, several would be killed. Over the years, how many young children like this had died?

He sighed inwardly, then found it amusing, and composed himself! Why think about these things now? Back when he was fighting for the throne, a conspiracy resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands. His own blood was no less than his.

His legs were spread apart, and he suddenly felt a chill in his lower body. A cold white ointment was inserted into his anus, followed by a finger that pushed the ointment deeper into his intestinal wall, slowly turning it. Tang Huo gave a soft "humph," his eyes half-closed. Chu Wenyin's movements were gentle, just as he had the first time Chu Wenyin applied medicine to him.

The effects of "Manqing" began to take hold, a strange sensation slowly rising from his lower body. His body trembled slightly, his genitals contracting and relaxing, like a thirsty male prostitute swaying his hips, eagerly inviting a customer to enter.

Tang Huo turned his face away, refusing to look at the man who kept staring at him. Yes, his body was indeed promiscuous, shaped by various men and various methods.

He could do anything Chu Wenyin asked, posing in any position, but he couldn't look into those watery eyes during sex. Every time he looked into those eyes, he thought of Tang Heng, his younger brother who loved him and idolized him, the little prince who had stolen all his happiness.

He still remembered that year, when a palace maid and eunuch came in the middle of the night, holding a newborn baby, standing in the Tang family's ancestral hall.
Tang Yiren, citing the family's long history of loyalty and valor, disregarded everyone's objections and took in the child. To protect this prince, he didn't hesitate to depose his principal wife and demote her to a concubine. The six-year-old eldest son, Tang Huo, was reduced to a mere concubine overnight. The newborn infant and the palace maid who brought him became his younger brother and, in his words, his mother.

At that time, he didn't understand the difference between "legitimate" and "concubine." He only knew that he and his mother were moved to a different room, and that his mother held him and cried for a long time.

He had a somewhat effeminate appearance. When he was twelve, he encountered the eldest prince and his entourage on the road and was immediately surrounded and harassed as a woman. Young and impetuous, he had never experienced anything like this before. Enraged, and relying on his years of martial arts training, he pounced on the one who had instigated the attack and punched him hard. Afterwards, the eldest prince, Chu Wenhao, lay unconscious in his residence for three days. The incident caused a great uproar, and his father, Tang Yiren, was demoted by one rank and had his salary deducted for a year. He knelt before the ancestors of the Tang family for ten days. On the eleventh day, he was bound with hemp ropes and sent to the First Prince's residence.

Only then did he understand that the legitimate son was a son, and if he made a mistake, the Tang family's generations of merits would protect him. The slave, the Tang family's servant, had to bear the consequences of his own mistakes...

He still remembered that half a month later, when he was thrown naked, covered in wounds, like trash in front of the Tang residence's gate, he lay numb on the snow, surrounded by countless whispers.

He had been lying in the residence for a month that time. His anus and intestinal walls were torn, and he bled intermittently for more than half a month. His penis and scrotum were riddled with holes. The doctor said he could never have children again. He turned to his side, looking at his mother who was crying incessantly beside him, and asked, "Mother, why is this happening?" His mother did not answer him, only saying that she was useless and sorry for him, and then she burst into tears. He had never seen his mother cry so miserably. Afterwards, she fell seriously ill and passed away after six months of protracted illness.

Tang Yiren kept vigil at her mourning hall all night. He coldly watched as his brother knelt before his mother's coffin, weeping uncontrollably.

What good was crying?

His second uncle, who had been guarding the border for years, returned for the funeral. Upon learning the reason for the incident, he beat Tang Yiren and picked up a large knife, ready to kill that beast, Chu Wenhao. Only when the palace maid, now a marquis, pulled Tang Heng to kneel before them did things calm down.

It was then that he learned that the baby was the fourth prince, who had been declared dead a few years earlier. He had never met him, and because he was said to have bad luck, the child of his fourth aunt, who had been raised by relatives since childhood. For so many years, his father and second uncle had felt guilty towards their youngest sister, whose fate had been so turbulent. Now, this sister, who had always been unassuming, had lost her life in this power struggle, and in the end, she had given her child to them. As her brother, as her uncle, as her subjects… how could they stand idly by?

However, although the Tang family had been known for its loyalty and valor for generations, and held considerable power in the Imperial Guard, over the years their real power had been largely diminished. Tang Yiren was an incompetent man, incapable of expanding the territory or maintaining it. The grand marquisate was now merely a facade. Yet, he clung to the ancestral precepts, remaining impartial and unyielding in court, thus failing to gain favor with anyone and becoming virtually powerless in the court. Furthermore, since the late emperor's deposition, the court had been in turmoil. At this time, if the young prince Tang Heng, hiding at home in an assumed name, were discovered, he would surely die, and the marquisate would not escape its fate.

In the six months following his mother's death, Tang Heng, the culprit, constantly hovered around him, tugging at his clothes and wanting a hug. He would violently shake him off, throwing him several feet away. Tang Heng would stumble to his feet, tears streaming down his face, and come back to pull him away again…

To make matters worse, before the mourning period for his mother was over, his second uncle, who had always doted on him and treated him like his own son, was killed in battle. A secret report from Tang family spies stated that his second uncle had clashed with a general under the First Prince. During the battle, other generals deliberately delayed sending troops to aid him, leading to his second uncle's tragic death.

The Tang family was thrown into chaos. Because his second uncle had never married or taken a concubine and remained single for many years, his funeral was held within the family. Before the seventh day after his second uncle's death, his father dragged him into the ancestral hall. In front of several Tang family elders, before his second uncle and the ancestral tablets of the Tang family, his father, according to his second uncle's last words, passed on to him the jade ring—the symbol of power as the head of the Tang clan.

He looked at the eight-character plaque hanging high in the ancestral hall, "The title is passed down through generations, the jade ring through the virtuous!", smiled coldly, and then knelt down, accepting the fate of this great family.

A few days later, the eldest prince suddenly sent someone to invite him. The pale red invitation card featured a large peach, and the strong smell of perfume was pungent. The father clenched his fists, trembling with anger, and turned his head to see his son's indifferent face.

He coldly accepted the invitation, changed out of his mourning clothes into a thin white robe, and boarded the eldest prince's sedan chair. That day, he returned impeccably dressed. From then on, he moved among the powerful and wealthy, sleeping in the beds of whoever was in power. But every time he returned, he was impeccably dressed.

Only once, he was left disheveled in front of a luxurious mansion—not as a gift, but as a complete abandonment.

On New Year's Eve, the eldest and second princes played a game. They stripped him naked, inserted all sorts of grotesque objects into his body, wrapped him in a tattered quilt, and left him in front of the residence of the third prince, Chu Wenyin, who had lost power due to his mother's demotion, on that rainy, snowy night. The two princes attempted to use him, a plaything of high status but low position, to reflect the crown prince's empty title and cowardice.

For the first time, he woke up quietly in bed, fully clothed. For the first time, someone looked at him with clean eyes, a faint smile on their lips, seemingly without a trace of impurity. At that moment, he knew he had found someone to rely on.

The fingers that had been twisting inside him were withdrawn, his legs were lifted and pressed forward against his stomach, the man's thick penis pressed against the entrance of his anus, slowly squeezing in, first with a few slow, deep thrusts, then pressing down with all his weight, moving quickly in and out.

Tang Huo, eyes closed, groaned softly, echoing the lewd sounds emanating from their joined bodies, seemingly experiencing both pain and pleasure.

"Wen Yin!" Just as Chu Wen Yin was about to change positions, Tang Huo suddenly arched his back, sat up, wrapped his arms around Chu's neck, and knelt on top of him, his body swaying up and down, rising and falling, deeper and faster than Chu Wen Yin's previous movements. The paleness on his face had faded considerably; whether from the antidote or the aphrodisiac, the dark purple of his lips slowly turned red.

Tang Huo held Chu Wen Yin tightly, as if trying to melt him into his own body, but his lower body movements didn't falter at all. He contracted the muscles of his intestinal walls, using every technique to please the enormous penis inserted inside him. His movements were so frenzied that a stream of bright red blood slid down Chu's penis, a shocking sight, yet Tang Huo's movements showed no sign of slowing down, each thrust higher and faster than the last.

He didn't have much time left. This antidote could cure his poison, but it couldn't save his life. So be it. Tang Huo secretly swallowed the churning, metallic taste in his throat. After he died, he would eventually forget him. Ye Yufu was a good woman, and so beautiful. He would eventually see her goodness, and they would eventually have more children.

After several rapid thrusts, Emperor Chu cupped Tang Huo's buttocks in his hands, pressed down on him, and breathed heavily, a stream of heat shooting into Tang Huo's body.

Tang Huo groaned, his body trembling slightly, and he hugged Emperor Chu even tighter.

After a while, Chu Wenyin laid Tang Huo flat on the ground. The two sweaty bodies, slightly panting, looked at each other. However, their expressions were vastly different. Emperor Chu's face showed satisfied pleasure, while Tang Huo's face showed mostly pain.

Chu Wenyin dipped his finger in the liquid that had slid from Tang Huo's body, put it in his mouth, and then pressed down, transferring the metallic taste, mixed with saliva, to the man beneath him.

"I love you!" Chu Wenyin buried his face in Tang Huo's hair, his voice suddenly turning cold. "If you dare to make another decision on your own, to leave me again, I will wipe out the Tang family! I'll make you do it yourself..."

"Chu Wenhao is already dead, there's no one to help you anymore. Tang Heng is a child of the Tang family, he won't pose the slightest threat to you. Let the Tang family go. I'll stay by your side, I'll never leave again."

After saying that, Tang Huo turned over, his back to Chu Wenyin, kneeling on the ground like a dog. His upper body slowly lay on the ground, his hands forcefully spreading his buttocks, sticking them high up. The still-wet milky white fluid clung to his anus, particularly glaring. It was a

very lewd posture, but when you saw the rows of flesh turned outwards on his back, their shapes grotesque, like old wounds from a wild beast's claws, you felt an indescribable sorrow.

"Don't do this!" Chu Wenyin pulled Tang Huo up from the ground, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind, holding him tightly. His voice was agitated as he said, "I just... I just hate that you kept this a secret for so many years. I don't necessarily want to kill Fourth Brother. As long as you stay by my side, I'll do anything you ask."

After a long while, Tang Huo felt a tremor run through him. His penis was grasped, a warm palm covering his swollen, dark purple shaft, gently moving up and down, the pressure and direction subtly controlled.

He knew very well that this high and mighty man was now using his utmost humility to please him.

Tang Huo sighed softly, letting Chu Wenyin lift him from behind, pressing him against him, his legs spread wide. Chu Wenyin's hand reached around Tang Huo's knees, lifting one leg slightly. The other hand continued to caress Tang Huo's penis, waves of intense pleasure washing over him with each touch of Chu Wenyin's fingers, but finding no outlet, it only wandered aimlessly within him.

"Mmm..." Tang Huo felt his body jerk as a hard, hot male object was suddenly inserted into his body. His already wounded intestinal walls were torn open again, and blood, with each thrust, spread little by little, staining the white cushions beneath them red.

Tang Huo tilted his head back, his entire center of gravity shifting backward, his eyes closed, his mouth open, breathing

intermittently, as if in extreme pleasure or pain. Chu Wenyin buried his face in Tang Huo's neck, his body tense, his movements becoming increasingly intense and wild, his heavy breathing growing more rapid with each breath.

"Huo!" At the peak of his movements, Chu Wenyin shouted, his body thrusting forward, and after a few violent spasms, his tense body went limp.

After a brief embrace, Tang Huo was laid flat on the ground again. His mouth was slightly open, his eyes half-closed, his whole body trembling, his entire body flushed red, completely devoid of its previous pallor.

Chu Wenyin rolled over and pressed down on Tang Huo, his hands beginning to wander again.

Again? Pei Xiaolei, who had been suppressing her shock and coldly watching the two men engaging in such incestuous intercourse in front of her, couldn't help but change her expression slightly. Tang Huo's expression was very strange. If the pearl chain binding his penis wasn't removed soon, he wouldn't last long; his semen would become blocked, and he would die from the unreleased pleasure. Unexpectedly

, Chu Wenyin was now kneeling on top of Tang Huo, his eyes closed, his hands spreading his buttocks, one hand inserting two fingers to open his anus.

A young eunuch crawled forward, kneeling to present a bottle of ointment. Seeing that the emperor hadn't moved for a long time, he guessed the emperor's intentions and scooped some out himself. Presumably, he dared not touch the emperor's body, so he set his sights on the lying Tang Huo. But before he could even touch him, Chu Wenyin slapped him, throwing him and the ointment off the platform, bleeding from his mouth and nose, in front of Pei Xiaolei and the others.

The young eunuch lay prostrate on the ground, opening his mouth as if to say something, but only a few soft "ee-yah-yah" sounds escaped his throat. Pei Xiaolei secretly glanced at him, noticing his mouth was empty, his tongue gone.

The lead eunuch reappeared like a ghost, deftly dragging the trembling young eunuch away. If one looked closely, it wasn't hard to spot the gleaming, blood-stained blade hidden in his sleeve.

No one was moved by this little incident—not the two on the stage, nor the respectfully kneeling eunuchs below.

Chu Wenyin lowered his head and continued what he had been doing. One hand grasped Tang Huo's now enormous penis, bound with a pearl necklace, while the other part spread his buttocks, aiming at the target, and slowly pressed down. He hadn't applied any medicine, leaving his body narrow and dry. Tang Huo's penis, bound with something, appeared even thicker, making it difficult to swallow.

Chu Wenyin's movements were swift, almost forceful, as he sat down. Visible blood flowed from his body, seeping like a stream along the rounded, uneven surface of the pearl. He didn't even flinch; his movements grew more intense with the increasing flow of crimson blood, each thrust so high and so deep, as if he wanted to swallow Tang Huo whole.

"Ugh... Enough! Stop!" Tang Huo, who had been silent, finally couldn't help but try to stop him as the blood flowed more and more. He tried to block Chu Wenyin's madness with his hands, but he was powerless. His whole body was limp; only the man inside his narrow body remained hard and erect. The narrow intestinal walls and the intense heat forced the pearl deeper into his swollen penis. The immense pleasure was like a giant python devouring his body; he was weak all over, yet his body trembled uncontrollably.

The sounds of flesh colliding, the man's painful groans, and the faint smell of blood permeated the room, which was filled with a strange fragrance…

With a soft “pop!”, Chu Wenyin suddenly raised his buttocks, withdrawing his body from Tang Huo's manhood, which was stained with his own blood. Then, he grasped Tang Huo's hot, purple, and large member with both hands, and pulled it down. With a sharp scream from Tang Huo, the blood-stained pearl spilled all over the floor, flashing an eerie light between the red and white.

Tang Huo's body trembled even more violently, all his passion surging to one point, about to erupt, when suddenly he felt a heat at the tip. Chu Wenyin had already taken his penis into his mouth, pressing his hands against his abdomen, his buttocks rising and falling rapidly, his body twisting and turning, his long, black hair sticking out against his flushed, sweat-drenched body, making him particularly striking.

"Mmm... Ah..." Tang Huo, who had been panting and moaning softly beneath him, suddenly wrapped his arms around Chu Wenyin's waist, pulled him up forcefully, and with a heavy roar, ejaculated his pent-up semen into Chu Wenyin's body. At the same time, he felt a cool sensation in his abdomen as a stream of white fluid splattered onto his lower belly.

Then, a long silence followed...

"Hahahaha..." Chu Wenyin suddenly laughed, his voice bold and unrestrained with joy, "You are mine, you will always be mine!"

Tang Huo closed his eyes, remaining silent.

Chu Wenyin, however, was unfazed by his indifference. He got up from Tang Huo's body, rolled over and lay down beside him, tightly holding Tang Huo's hand, and closed his eyes as well.

"Wenyin, you should go back!" About half an hour later, Tang Huo suddenly said softly.

"I'll stay and keep you company!" Chu Wenyin's voice was thick with hoarseness.

"I'm tired, I want to rest for a while, you should go back!" Tang Huo said in a low voice, continuing to shoo him away.

Chu Wenyin sat up, silently gazing at Tang Huo, who was resting with his eyes closed, for a while before getting up to change his clothes.

Before leaving, he paused, turned his back to Tang Huo, and said in a deep voice, "Tomorrow morning, I will pardon the Tang family!"

Only

after the emperor had gone far away did Tang Huo put on an outer robe and slowly sit up. He stared at the glaring spots of crimson on the cushion, his emotions complex and unreadable.

After a while, he glanced at the row of eunuchs kneeling below the platform, slowly raised his hand, pointed at Pei Xiaolei, and said, "You stay. Everyone else, leave!"

The crowd rose and retreated.

Once everyone had left, leaving only him and Pei Xiaolei, Tang Huo stood up and slowly lit an incense stick on the table. The faint sandalwood scent wafted out, slowly masking the strange fragrance in the room.

Pei Xiaolei felt a little lighter after smelling the fragrance, so she moved slightly, taking a deep breath, and found that her blood and energy flowed much more smoothly.

She slightly raised her head to look at the person in front of her again, and found that Tang Huo had slowly walked towards her, sitting down in front of her in a slightly awkward posture.

"Hey! We meet again, masked man!" Pei Xiaolei looked at him, smiled mischievously, and greeted him casually as if they were old acquaintances. Since she had already been exposed, pretending any longer wouldn't be convincing.

"Satisfied with the look?" Tang Huo also smiled faintly, his words carrying a hidden meaning, but the temperature in his voice was quite cold.

"Satisfied, very satisfied. I'll give you an Oscar for Best Actor sometime!" Pei Xiaolei replied with a beaming smile. Completely ignoring the dagger already at her neck, she continued to ramble on without restraint.

"Oh? So, tell me, what are you going to do after the show?" Tang Huo didn't know what the Oscars were, but he understood the word "actor." Looking at Pei Xiaolei's expression, he figured it wasn't anything nice, so he smiled even more brightly. The dagger in his hand pierced her flesh a little further. Although no blood was drawn, the cold touch against her neck was enough to instill the fear of death.

Pei Xiaolei's heart skipped a beat, but her face remained calm. She smiled carefree and said, "Going back, of course. The show's over, the audience should go home. The young master of the Tang family is waiting for me to go back and have breakfast with him."

"Tang Heng? Tang Heng is with you?" The pressure on his neck eased, and Tang Huo's expression softened. He stared at Pei Xiaolei for a moment, then sheathed the dagger. The murderous aura on his face dissipated considerably.

After a long silence, he asked again, "How is he now?"

Pei Xiaolei secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily, she had bet on the right thing. He composed himself and slowly suppressed the internal energy he had just gathered, then spread his hands and smiled, "He's doing very well. He's eating well, sleeping well, he's gotten stronger and fatter, and his martial arts are highly skilled. He's much better than that cowardly guy he used to be!"

"Oh?" Her voice rose a half-tone, then chuckled softly. "He's even gotten stronger and fatter! Looks like he's doing very well!"

"Of course!" She didn't mince words, continuing to boast.

Tang Huo smiled, his eyes narrowed, but asked no more questions.

Pei Xiaolei looked curiously at the man before her, a man even more beautiful than a woman. From the moment they met, his words had been filled with protectiveness and affection for Tang Heng, making it hard to believe that he was the same man who had recently been coldly and ruthlessly hunting Tang Heng down in the wasteland.

"Little girl, what brings you here? Just say it!" Tang Huo asked, propping his head up.

"The antidote! I've come to find Yan'er's antidote!" Pei Xiaolei's smile vanished as she looked at Tang Huo, stating her purpose directly.

"Yan'er?" Tang Huo was taken aback, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. He asked hesitantly, "Could it be that you're from the Number One Manor in the World?"

Pei Xiaolei nodded in agreement.

"There are two antidotes. You saw one; I already took it!"

"And the other one?" Seeing there was still hope, Pei Xiaolei pressed him for an answer before he could finish.

Tang Huo turned away, not looking at Pei Xiaolei, but gazing at the platform, silently observing the crimson bloodstains on the cushion. After a long pause, he said, "Chu Wenyin took the other one."

Pei Xiaolei was stunned, her surprise growing.

Tang Huo turned back, understanding her confusion, and added calmly, "His birth mother, the Empress Dowager Liao, personally poisoned him!"

Pei Xiaolei was stunned again, her heart sinking. It seemed the entire Chu royal family practiced feeding poison to their children as a tonic.

"What about Yan'er? Is he really beyond saving?"

"No! He still has a bottle of antidote, which was buried as a funerary offering in the late emperor's mausoleum!"

"Emperor Taizong's mausoleum?"

Tang Huo nodded, turned around, and took out a box from the room, handing it to Pei Xiaolei, saying, "If you're going, take this with you!"

Pei Xiaolei took the box, immediately opened it, and a strong, pungent animal odor hit her, making her nauseous. She glanced at it quickly and immediately closed it.

"You, do you want to come with me?" Even if she was stupid, she could tell that this magnificent palace was a prison where he was being held captive.

"Go? Where else can I go?" Tang Huo sat on the ground, smiling softly, without joy or sorrow. Such a handsome man, yet his eyes were clean and without a trace of impurity.

She paused for a moment, then took out a bottle of pills and tossed it to him, saying, "It won't save your life, but it might make you feel better!"

Tang Huo caught it steadily, glanced at it, and looked up at Pei Xiaolei as she walked away. Suddenly, he asked loudly, "What's your relationship with Doctor Pei?"

Pei Xiaolei didn't answer, only waved her hand behind her back as a thank you for his question. He probably knew that her second senior brother's medicine was worth a fortune; how could he possibly carry so many large and small bottles of various pills if he wasn't a close relative ?

"There's a blood-written letter in the imperial tomb. Take it back to the Number One Manor and give it to him; you'll benefit from it!"

Pei Xiaolei paused, turned around, looked at Tang Huo, and asked with narrowed eyes, "A blood-written letter?"

Tang Huo nodded and said, "A blood-written letter from the Pei family's ancestor to the current emperor!"

"Thank you!" Upon hearing this, Pei Xiaolei's expression remained unchanged, but her heart was churning. After nodding her thanks, she left the strange room as impatiently as the wind.

Tang ignored Pei Xiaolei, his eyes fixed on the medicine bottle in his hand, chuckling softly. Half an hour later, he suddenly raised the bottle as if offering a toast, saying to the air, "Pei Shanyi, I owe you a favor from many years ago, and today, I finally repay it!"

********************************

The night was dark and twilight heavy. The crescent moon hanging high in the sky cast a pale light, far from enough to guide the way.

Pei Xiaolei stepped onto the large tree she had used to enter the palace, jumped down, looked around to make sure no one was nearby, then stood up, dusted herself off, took out a small jade flute from her bosom, and gently blew it. With a "whoosh," the "Way-Knowing Bird" flew out from the forest, circled halfway in the air, shook its wings, and landed straight on Pei Xiaolei's wrist.

"Find the imperial tomb of Emperor Chu Taizong!" With Pei Xiaolei's command, the "Way-Knowing Bird" took flight again with a "whoosh," quickly disappearing into the night sky.

Pei Xiaolei had changed back into her original palace maid attire, looking like a lost little palace maid. She circled the high palace wall, looking around aimlessly, stopping and starting several times, but didn't see a single palace maid or eunuch passing by. This place was truly remote. Pei Xiaolei sighed, walked back to her original spot, and sat listlessly on a rock, playing with wildflowers she had picked by the roadside, waiting for the birds to return.

Suddenly, a cold wind blew by, rustling the surrounding leaves. The already dim crescent moon hid further behind the dark clouds, making the surroundings even darker. With the whistling wind in her ears and the swaying shadows around her, Pei Xiaolei began to feel a slight unease.

Just as she was lost in thought, scaring herself, suddenly, the night behind her grew even darker, and a hand gently rested on her shoulder.

Her body stiffened, her mind not yet processing the attack, but her body reflexively struck backward with a swift and ruthless palm.

The newcomer stumbled back a few steps, seemingly completely caught off guard by her sudden attack. He opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, Pei Xiaolei had already attacked again.

After narrowly dodging a few blows, the newcomer exchanged a few moves with her, becoming increasingly adept at fighting and retreating with each exchange, but showing no intention of retaliating.

Pei Xiaolei, however, after her initial shock, found the fight increasingly strange. She leaped up, took a few steps back, looked at the man in black, and asked uncertainly in a low voice, "Junior Brother?"

The man in black nodded, and just as he was catching his breath, he saw Pei Xiaolei's body sway and fall backward. Startled, he leaped over with lightning speed, grabbed Pei Xiaolei around the waist, and quickly flew away with her in his arms.

"You scared me to death!" Pei Xiaolei said, patting her chest, still shaken, as she returned to flat ground. Good heavens! She had just been standing on a pile of pebbles by the pond, and apart from the one she had initially stood on, the rest were covered in lush, green moss that could kill someone if they fell.

The man in black hugged her even tighter, as if trying to melt her into his body. His chest heaved violently, and after a long while, he said in a low voice, "You scared me to death! What are you doing here? Do you know where you are? What if something happened?"

Uh... Faced with this barrage of accusations, Pei Xiaolei was stunned for a moment before calming down from the double shock. She realized that she was being held too tightly, so she pushed Xingwen, who was dressed in black night clothes, and said, "Um... Xingwen, let go of me first, I can't breathe!" Being held so tightly, Pei Xiaolei felt not only uncomfortable, but also very uneasy.

Xingwen looked down at the woman in his arms, somewhat helplessly loosening his grip to give her some space. At the same time, he adjusted his position, expanding his embrace and holding her tightly.

Pei Xiaolei struggled for a moment, but seeing that Xingwen had no intention of letting her go, she gave up and nestled her head in his arms, letting him hold her and shield her from the night breeze.

During this time, she secretly glanced at him in the already bright moonlight. Hmm! His expression wasn't exactly bad, but his brows were furrowed, showing considerable worry. There was a faint smell of sweat around his nose, and his chest felt cool and slightly damp; he must have been frantically searching for her for a long time.

She calmed down and thought about it, and indeed, she had gone a little too far this time.

However…

“I found the blood-written letter!” Pei Xiaolei looked up at Xingwen, smiling as she shared this surprise with him, hoping to offset her mistakes.

“What? A blood-written letter?” Xingwen’s attention was successfully diverted, but his expression was one of disbelief.

The main reason he came to Chu to serve as an official was to find the blood-written letter—the only one in the world capable of restraining the number one manor—written by his grandmaster, Pei Xiaolei’s grandfather, in his youth. However, over the years, he had sent people everywhere—from the palace and court officials to commoners—to investigate and search, but to no avail. Just when he was beginning to doubt whether the blood-written letter even existed, Xiaolei suddenly gave him this surprise!

“Where is the blood-written letter?” Xingwen asked.

"In the late emperor's mausoleum!" Pei Xiaolei looked up at the "pathfinder bird" that had flown back and was now circling in the sky. She tugged at his hand, answering with obvious delight. She herself had never imagined that this unexpected gain would be so fruitful.

Infected by her joy, Xingwen also smiled, looking at the woman in his arms and thinking with emotion, "If only she could keep smiling like this forever."

"It's late, let's go back first! We can make plans another day!"

"We can't wait any longer, we have to go now!" Pei Xiaolei shook her head.

"Xiaolei, venturing into the imperial mausoleum requires caution. Let's go back and make some preparations!" Xingwen grabbed her hand, prepared to force her to return.

"The Chu Kingdom's grand ancestral sacrifice is in four days," Pei Xiaolei reminded him. According to Chu customs, three days before the grand sacrifice, to prepare in advance and ensure the safety of the royal family's descendants during the ancestral worship, the number of guards around the imperial mausoleum would be increased several times over, and the security would be much tighter. As the prime minister of Chu, Xingwen should naturally know this better than she did.

Of course, Xingwen was unexpectedly stubborn today, unmoved by anything she said. Pei Xiaolei then threw out her final reason: "Besides, Yan'er's antidote is also in the imperial mausoleum. Even if the matter of the blood letter can be postponed, what about Yan'er? He can't wait!"

Xingwen still shook his head, his brows furrowed, and pulled her hand tightly, assuring her, "Don't worry, I have a way!"

Pei Xiaolei remained silent, looking steadily into Xingwen's eyes. After a moment of silence, she pulled her hand away and said, "Your plan is to keep me from taking risks, to keep it from me for now, and then secretly go and try to escape after you've settled me in?"

"I!" Xingwen was stunned, opening his mouth, not expecting to be so directly hit where it hurts. Usually quick-witted and eloquent, he suddenly didn't know how to answer. In fact, he didn't know why, but for so many years, he had always felt like a transparent person in front of her. His mouth would become clumsy, and what he was thinking, he could hide from anyone but her.

Pei Xiaolei's face was cold at this moment. She looked at him and said, "I don't like this kind of protection! I must get the blood oath and the antidote today! If you want me to go back, knock me out now!"

"Xiaolei!" Xingwen felt anxious again, but he didn't know what she was suddenly angry about.

"I don't need you to risk your life for my safety, do you understand?" After saying that, she didn't wait for his reply, forcefully pushed his hand away, and left his embrace. Just as she took out the small jade flute from her sleeve, the "Pathfinder Bird" that had been perched on a nearby branch flapped its wings, circled half a circle above her head, and then flew off in a certain direction.

"Xiaolei!" Xingwen took a few steps forward and reached for her hand again, "If you're not happy, we'll go together!"

Pei Xiaolei turned around, looking at Xingwen's somewhat frightened appearance, and felt sorry for him. She also felt that she might have reacted a bit emotionally just now, so she patted him hard and smiled reassuringly, "Let's go!"

After saying that, she took the lead and followed the direction the "Pathfinder Bird" flew, using her light footwork to chase after it.

"Xiaolei, wait for me!" Xingwen saw this and hurriedly followed.

Royal Tomb Adventure (Part 1)

The "Pathfinder Bird" didn't lead them to the magnificent royal tombs of Chu as they had imagined. Instead, it bypassed the tombs and took Pei Xiaolei and Xingwen to another large mountain not far behind the tomb complex.

This independent royal tomb stood against the mountain, covering a vast area, yet it was remarkably simple in its construction, a world apart from the imposing royal tombs in front. The only thing that inspired awe was the two enormous stone sculptures placed on either side of the tomb entrance. Sculpted to the size of lions, with bared teeth and claws, their faces were ferocious. They didn't resemble lions, tigers, or auspicious creatures like unicorns; their fierce appearance was unlike anything they had ever seen before, resembling some kind of ferocious beast. The tomb of Emperor Taizong of Chu, Chu Wei, located in a remote area ,

was sparsely guarded. A few scattered guards, in small groups, strolled around lazily, showing no sign of vigilance despite being on duty.

Pei Xiaolei and Xingwen easily seized an opportunity and smoothly infiltrated the tomb, the process surprising even them.

The first level of the tomb was vast, with a huge portrait of the emperor hanging in the center of the main hall. On either side of the portrait, tens of thousands of characters, written in regular script, described the life and achievements of Emperor Taizong of Chu, Chu Wei, covering an entire wall.

Although Emperor Taizong's coffin was not placed here, the imposing presence before the portrait was undeniable. Two rows of life-sized bronze palace maids and eunuchs stood. These bronze figures, some standing and some walking, each with a different expression, were incredibly lifelike, as if they were still serving their emperor at that moment.

The main hall was neatly arranged with various items used by Emperor Chu Taizong during his lifetime: fine clothes, tools, utensils, books, paintings... everything imaginable.

Chu Wei was a lifelong martial arts enthusiast and a weapon fanatic, so naturally, the hall was filled with them. A large number of swords, knives, clubs, and other cold weapons were neatly arranged on the side of the palace. While the weapons weren't particularly valuable, their sheer quantity and variety were astonishing.

Xingwen walked among the weapons, choosing a light and sharp short sword for Pei Xiaolei to protect herself, while he himself selected a long sword.

Pei Xiaolei took the short sword, unsheathed it, stroked the sharp blade, weighed it in her hand, and lightly tested it a couple of times. Finding the feel satisfactory, she sheathed it.

"How is it?" Xingwen looked at her, his eyes burning like a child seeking praise.

Upon seeing this, Pei Xiaolei's playful nature was aroused. She smiled, lowered her voice, and feigned expertise, saying, "Hmm! This old man is quite satisfied." Xingwen

chuckled, amused by her words.

Their gentle laughter added a touch of warmth to the cold, solemn imperial tomb. The

"Pathfinder Bird," which had been circling above the palace, suddenly chirped. When Pei Xiaolei and Xingwen looked up and noticed it, it flapped its wings and darted like an arrow towards a painting depicting a hundred birds paying homage to the emperor on the left side of the hall. With a "pop," the painting was smashed open, creating a small hole, and the "Pathfinder Bird" disappeared behind it.

A tunnel? Pei Xiaolei and Xingwen exchanged a glance and quickly followed. Unveiling the two-meter-high scroll, they discovered a secret passage beneath, dark and its destination unknown.

Xingwen picked out two luminous pearls, each the size of a goose egg, from a pile of burial treasures. He and Pei Xiaolei each took one.

Pei Xiaolei looked at the priceless treasure in her hand, thought for a moment, and then looked up at Xingwen, asking, "Did you bring a tinderbox?"

“I brought it!” Xingwen replied, somewhat puzzled.

“Good.” After saying that, Pei Xiaolei put the luminous pearl into her sleeve, chopped down two stool handles with her sword, and then went to rummage through the luxurious clothes buried with her. She picked out a few pieces that looked thin and easily flammable and quickly tore them into strips.

Xingwen ran over to help, and when there were enough strips of cloth in front of him, he asked, “What’s wrong? Isn’t it better to use the luminous pearl for lighting?”

“I’m afraid there will be miasma!” Pei Xiaolei said, tossing him a stool handle and indicating that he should tie the strips of cloth onto it to make a torch.

Xingwen was taken aback, then understood. He had previously read records in some miscellaneous books about underground miasma killing people, but it was so long ago, and he didn’t need it in daily life, so he had forgotten it. He didn’t expect Xiaolei to remember it all this time. Watching her bustling about, so unlike her pampered self in the village, he pursed his lips, quickened his pace, and silently gave himself a slap, reminding himself to work harder in the future.

It wasn't that Pei Xiaolei's memory was exceptionally good; it was just that her half-soul in the 21st century had been reincarnated in Shanxi, a region prone to coal mine accidents. Every few days, the television would broadcast news of gas poisoning and mine collapses… Being constantly exposed to such environments inevitably instilled a sense of crisis.

Pei Xiaolei took out two sachets, emptied the dried flowers inside, and placed two luminous pearls inside each. They each wore one on their waists. She lit one of the torches, which was soaked in lamp oil, with a tinderbox. She first probed the entrance to the tunnel, and seeing no change in the flame, she reached out and pulled Xingwen down the next step, saying, "Let's go!"

Unexpectedly, Xingwen pulled her back, took the torch from her hand, stepped forward, and shielded her behind him, saying in a manly tone, "You stay behind me!"

"Huh?" Pei Xiaolei hadn't even recovered her senses before being left behind. Looking at the tall, slender figure ahead, and at the man's large hand tightly holding hers, she suddenly felt a strange sensation.

So, little Xingwen had really grown up.

The two descended the steps and walked along the circular path for about half an hour before reaching a fork in the road. There they found the "Pathfinder Bird," who seemed to have been circling for a long time, its movements becoming somewhat sluggish. Pei Xiaolei reached out and let it fly back into her arm, then placed it on her shoulder to rest. The "Pathfinder Bird" is an extremely intelligent and spirited little bird, and with training, it becomes a first-rate guide. Years ago, she gave this precious bird to Ye Yufu because Ye Yufu had written back saying that the mischievous Yan'er was always running around the palace alone, constantly causing them endless searches. Amused, she sent the bird to the Chu Palace. However, looking at the "Pathfinder Bird," which was now noticeably plumper than when it was first sent, Pei Xiaolei felt a pang of regret. This priceless bird was being kept as a pet in the harem; perhaps it was a waste of its talents.

"Which way should we go?" Pei Xiaolei tugged at Xingwen's sleeve.

Xingwen looked both ways, shook his head, and seemed hesitant.

"How about this way!" the two pointed to the right, saying in unison. Then they stared at each other, laughing, while the "Pathfinder Bird" on her shoulder trembled, startled, and almost fell off.

The two chose the right fork in the road and walked for another half an hour, but gradually felt the air becoming thin and stuffy. The "pathfinder bird" on Pei Xiaolei's shoulder also seemed increasingly restless, hopping around and chirping incessantly.

"Stop!" Pei Xiaolei wiped the fine sweat from her brow and grabbed Xingwen, stopping him from continuing.

"What's wrong?" Xingwen asked, turning around.

Pei Xiaolei pointed to the flickering torch in his hand and said, "Let's go back the way we came. The air feels off!"

Xingwen nodded, pulling her back. Although he didn't smell anything strange in the air, the more they walked

, the heavier his heart felt. But they had only taken a few steps when they heard a rustling sound behind them, growing closer and louder, as if it were rushing towards them.

Feeling the light wasn't enough, Pei Xiaolei lit the remaining spare torch and waved the flame towards the source of the sound.

Ahead lay a dark mass; before she could even make out what it was, Xingwen had already scooped her up and was quickly pulling away. She clung tightly to Xingwen's shoulders, the wind whistling past her ears. Xingwen ran incredibly fast, and the dark shadows behind them relentlessly pursued, growing ever closer.

Dark bodies, pointed heads, and flicking red tongues—snakes. Thousands upon thousands of snakes writhed and charged towards them.

Back at the fork in the road, with no other choice, they plunged into the other path. The snakes reached the fork but didn't follow them in; they lingered at their crossroads for a long time before slowly dispersing.

Pei Xiaolei, pale-faced, stepped down from Xingwen's arms, her legs buckling the moment they touched the ground.

Xingwen, quick as a flash, pulled her into his arms again, gently comforting her, "It's alright, it's alright, I'm here."

"Mmm!" Pei Xiaolei buried her head in his chest, responding softly, though she still felt a chill run down her spine. She was always afraid of reptiles, especially snakes. Now, after being chased by thousands of snakes of all sizes, she could still answer so clearly; she was even a little impressed with herself.

Xingwen didn't speak further, only holding her more gently. He rarely comforted people and didn't know how to soothe a frightened girl. So, he awkwardly patted her back gently, like someone comforting a child, until she calmed down.

After a long while, Pei Xiaolei calmed down, leaving Xingwen's embrace and instead taking his hand, saying, "I'm alright now! Let's keep going!"

Xingwen looked at his hand being held by her, his heart warming, and he gripped it tightly in return.

When they were dodging the snakes, they had run too fast and too fast, even losing their torches. The passageway was pitch black, illuminated only by the two luminous pearls hanging from her waist.

Pei Xiaolei poured the pearls out of her sachet; without the layer of cloth obscuring them, the two glowing pearls combined to illuminate the surroundings more brightly.

"Here, take these!" She handed both pearls to Xingwen, who was walking ahead, and then, fearing further danger, had the "Pathfinder Bird" fly ahead to scout the way.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine!" Xingwen squeezed her hand, as if giving her courage.

"Mm!" She nodded and smiled in response.

The two walked hand in hand for several hundred meters before stopping in front of a stone gate carved with animal totems.

"What's this?" Pei Xiaolei held the pearls closer to examine the totems; above the gate were carved dragons and phoenixes amidst clouds, and below were coiled snakes and a group of wild beasts.

"Someone's been here!" Xingwen, groping around beside her, discovered a bloody handprint. Touching the blackened blood, he asserted, "And someone went in!"

Pei Xiaolei, hearing this, also leaned closer to look. The bloodstain was clear, with tiny bloodstains still visible near the palm. Whoever left this handprint must have been seriously injured. Looking at the bloody handprint, a thought suddenly struck her: could the palm-sized bloodstain on the man's hand have been left by Tang Huo?

"There must be a mechanism to get in!" Pei Xiaolei asserted, placing her hands on the stone door and, like Xingwen, beginning to search around it. However, half an hour passed, and no matter how much they searched, there was still no movement.

Having been frightened and terrified by the swarm of snakes, Pei Xiaolei, already suppressing her anger, slowly grew furious. Looking at the snake-shaped totem below the stone door, she kicked it in frustration.

A crisp "bang!" rang out, unlike the heavy sounds around them.

Pei Xiaolei and Xingwen exchanged a glance, their eyes gleaming with surprise—they had finally found it.

Following the shape of the serpentine totem, a whole relief was lifted, revealing a fist-sized, round stone hidden inside.

Xingwen shielded Pei Xiaolei behind him, reaching in and pressing down hard.

With a "boom," the stone door lurched open, and as it swung open, a dozen or so sharp arrows suddenly shot out from both sides of the passage with lightning speed.

Xingwen, with Pei Xiaolei in tow, narrowly avoided them, retreating several meters before stopping. Pei Xiaolei, still shaken, stared at the two rows of arrows, each embedded three-tenths of an inch into the stone walls of the passage, a cold sweat breaking out on her brow.

Tomb raiding, indeed, was a skilled profession.
