"You finally understand, in my world, there's only you and me," these were the most profound words my beloved wife said to me that night. We shed tears together for the first time, and then held hands, kissed, and lingered there. That night will never be forgotten.
So perhaps we were a unique couple in the amusement park. There was no real interaction, no thrilling stories, but I'm still grateful for this place. It helped me understand many things I'd never known before, things that had always existed between Jing and me, things that had been overlooked. Now our lives have returned to normal, but the taste of first love and the beauty of holding hands have quietly returned to my wife and me.
