Different emotions in making friends

Many couples worry that making friends or engaging in casual conversations will cause their marriage to break down. They fear their husbands will fall in love with their partners' wives; they fear their wives will like their partners' husbands; they fear them going out alone together...
In reality, the emotions behind interactions between couples are varied:
sometimes it's to relieve the pressure within the marriage and release tension;
sometimes it's out of novelty and a desire to try something new;
sometimes it's because of a long-standing apathy and both partners want to change the current situation;
and so on...
In short, an occasional attempt often only brings physical or physiological pleasure, which can bring some happiness! Here, it doesn't necessarily mean developing feelings for the other couple.
However, sometimes long-term, consistent interaction with one or more couples can indeed develop feelings:
this feeling isn't selfish or possessive, but rather a broad sense of kinship between two couples, or with other couples, as if they were part of a large family. They trust and appreciate each other. They always want to be together often, singing, drinking tea, going on outings; they always want to admire each other's voices and smiles; they always like the scent and even the body odor of their partner's husband (wife); they always appreciate the charm of their partner's husband (wife) when expressing their boldness and passion. ...
To a certain extent, they are not trying to break up their original family structures. Rather, they are like close friends and family, relaxed and harmonious; they love and cherish each other like lovers.
However, what's even more different is that they both deeply love their married spouses, grateful for their generosity, tolerance, and encouragement! Grateful for their selfless giving of love and happiness! Through this friendship, they experience the deep affection of married couples even more, and are proud to have such partners!
I think: isn't this kind of emotional connection the true meaning of couples' friendship?
