I only found out my wife had a lover two years later.
Spending too much time online and watching too many pornographic films started having strange thoughts during sex with my wife. According to her, her lover was a card-playing friend she often played with; their relationship started with flirting at the card table and gradually developed into something more intimate.
After I promised not to blame my wife, she recounted in detail how they had been together—in their bed, in our bed, and even outdoors in the summer. She kept emphasizing that I shouldn't blame her, and I again assured her I wouldn't.
I was baffled; my wife had been seeing someone else for over two years, and I hadn't noticed at all. My wife said, "I was too careless. If I had been more observant, I would have found out long ago."
