I'd previously discussed exchanging partners with my wife, but she always seemed indifferent. Yesterday, a single man suggested we meet over the weekend for a meal, not necessarily a meal, just to get to know each other. Instead, she called me, asking where I was. I told her I was at the bus stop, and she said, "I'm home." I said, "Didn't you say you took the 321 bus, which goes directly from your workplace to our house?" She said, "I got off at the nearby supermarket, browsed around, and then took a taxi back." I asked her about it, and she said, "It's probably the smell of cooking oil." (Her workplace has a kitchen, but no cook; they take turns cooking lunch.)
She looked at me sideways and said, "Are you upset? Why are you looking for me? Are you crazy?" I said I was wrong, and that the food was ready. She said, "No." She went into the bedroom and ignored me.
While eating, it suddenly dawned on me that when I called her, she said she was on her way. I went to the station but couldn't pick her up. She said she'd get off at a nearby supermarket for a stroll, but calculating the time, she could only stroll for a maximum of 5 minutes. So, according to her, she should have been on a bus that went directly to my neighborhood, but she deliberately stopped halfway through, wandered around the supermarket for 5 minutes, then hurriedly and haphazardly hailed a taxi home to the neighborhood, and then got off within 10 meters of me and went inside. What kind of hide-and-seek is this?
The day before yesterday, she ate something for 5 minutes, said she was tired, took a shower, and lay down. Yesterday, she didn't eat, just took a shower, and went to sleep.
