In early December, one of my wife's friends worked as a hostess in a nightclub. A customer booked her room, but no one showed up until late, making him feel embarrassed. He asked my wife's friend to bring some of her friends over. My wife was his only friend, so he asked her to come. My wife went and stayed out very late. When she came back, she happily said it was great. She said the owner gave her and her friend a 500 yuan tip, which was very generous. She said the man was very nice; he spent the whole night singing and drinking with my wife. My wife and her friend felt sorry for him because he was embarrassed, so they tried to keep him company until closing time. Because my wife's friend had to clean up the room, my wife had to go out for a late-night snack with the owner alone. Afterwards, he wanted to have sex with her, but she politely declined. He then very gentlemanly took her home and left his phone number. My wife looked at the money and said men are such fools, saying that if you encounter a few customers like that a year, you're lucky. Haha.
