I believe that a man who's having affairs wouldn't let his family know; otherwise, he'd definitely give up! I understand my wife's personality, and I think any man would say the same thing to her!
I could also foresee what would happen next: my wife would be disappointed, and he would never let her know! My wife is stubborn and would put him in an awkward position. A man in this situation will pay the price for all the lies he told! He would be caught in a dilemma! My wife is single, which would only make him rationally try to appease her first!
But then, a phone call from my wife made me feel like my life was ending. She said she was taking my wife to meet his wife. I thought this man was crazy; he actually did something so insane.
Everything was happening, and regardless of the outcome, I felt that this man at least loved my wife; he was willing to take her to meet his wife.
The result was that his wife didn't agree to them being together, and he didn't want to give up his family. He even told his wife that he regretted what he did.
After meeting his wife, my wife came out alone. His wife is willful and unreasonable; I don't think she'll let him off the hook. That night, she insisted he come out and resolve the issue, or she threatened to jump off the building.
