I met her in a WeChat group. She's 39, a middle school Chinese teacher. We chatted online for a while, showcasing my writing skills and personal manners. I could sense she wasn't averse to me, and might even have some feelings for me. Over time, she seemed to accept some of my subtle flirting, at most sending a shy emoji. Recently, I suggested we meet for dinner. After much hesitation, she finally agreed, saying she was very nervous… Actually, I was quite nervous too, since it was my first time formally meeting a respectable woman with whom something might happen.
