A while ago, my wife's best friend encouraged her to go work at a **business club** as a masseuse, saying the pay was high. Actually, her friend's family isn't short of money at all, and while we're not exactly rich, my parents' retirement pensions, plus the rent from our two shops and my salary, make for a comfortable life; my wife doesn't need to earn any money. Her friend probably saw that my wife hadn't worked for over half a year, so she kept urging her to go with her!
I hadn't looked into that club before, but after my wife said she wanted to go, I looked into it too. I heard there are lucrative jobs there, meaning working as a masseuse is basically equivalent to prostitution, and I discussed this with my wife. I don't mind my wife working as a prostitute, but the premise is that it doesn't affect the family, especially the child. Our son is getting older, and my wife has always attended parent-teacher conferences, so she knows some of his classmates' parents. After all, gossip is a serious matter. If his classmates find out his mother is a prostitute, or if it gets back to my parents, the consequences are unimaginable!
