A Fish's Dream (Part Two)

In the evening, with a glass of red wine in hand, I sat lazily by the window, gazing at the city lights, having just emerged from the bathroom. My husband and I, while enjoying intimacy and adept at exploring each other's bodies, are not inclined to be unrestrained indulgences. Therefore, two or three days a week, we'll either enjoy a light drink or embrace and caress each other, relaxing our bodies and minds and harmonizing our yin and yang in preparation for the next intimate encounter.

A thorough soak in the bathtub, coupled with the half-finished glass of red liquid, made every pore of my body exude the aroma of wine. My husband, holding a plate of sliced fruit, stopped in front of me, gazing at me as I lay half-naked by the window, a half-full glass of red wine swirling in my hand. "You're so beautiful, so beautiful it's almost unbearable to approach," he said. "And who was keeping me up all night yesterday?" I laughed, extending my index finger and lightly touching his erect member. The warmth from my fingertip made me inexplicably shy. I got up and ran to open the screen door to the balcony, pushing my naked body into the sticky summer night air, completely oblivious to the eager gaze behind me. I wondered what he thought of my clumsy running.

"What's it like to be spied on?"
"Hmm...it's complicated."
"Hmm?"
"It reminds me of that time you were unreasonable.
" "When was I unreasonable?"
"That time!"

My husband laughed, finishing the rest of my wine. We embraced tightly. That night, there was no sex, only love.
