Almost every little girl has dreamed of marrying her father, especially around fourteen or fifteen when she first falls in love. Of course, these dreams all ultimately end in one thing: nothing comes of it. But mine had a different ending…
My mother passed away from cancer when I was twelve years old, leaving only my father and me to depend on each other. He even bought sanitary napkins for me when I had my first period and carefully taught me about puberty. My colleagues said that my father was more attentive than their mothers.
When my father was away working, I would take care of the housework. The house was small, but there was a lot of housework to do. I could cook and do laundry, just like a housewife. Of course, I didn't fully take on the role of a mother until I was eighteen.
Our whole family loves watching horror movies. When my mother was still pregnant, the three of us would hide in bed, turn off the lights, and watch horror movies. Sometimes we would get so scared that we would hug each other, cover our eyes with the blankets, and scream.
