[The Girls' School Teacher] (Episode 5, Chapter 6)

Chapter Six: The Value of a Doctor

Midori came from a wealthy and powerful family. Children like this generally have a significant psychological advantage and are usually able to remain calm in the face of

major events .

The alluring young woman immediately displayed the effects of her upbringing.

She forcefully pushed through the crowd and ran to Nagatsu Kagekatsu's side: "Uncle Nagatsu, I'm Midori Takahashi,

Shunsuke Takahashi's daughter, and Ayaka's good friend."

Nagatsu Kagekatsu completely ignored her, continuing to wail and vent his pain and

helplessness .

"I have a way to save Lingxin!"

The alluring beauty had barely uttered these words when Nagasuki Kagekatsu, with the agility of a master,

performed a difficult somersault on the ground, rising to his feet like a ghost. His hands flashed, grabbing

Midori's delicate shoulders. "What did you say? Say it again!"

Nagasuki Kagekatsu's grip was so tight it hurt the fragile beauty, but Midori understood his

feelings and didn't care about such trivial matters. "Uncle Nagasuki, I know a doctor. He's very skilled. Let

him save Lingxin!"

"A doctor you know?" Nagasuki Kagekatsu had already regained his senses. "Your family's

private doctor?"

"No, no, he's a very skilled surgeon. I guarantee him in the name of my family; he

's absolutely a true master." Midori Takahashi gritted her teeth. Guaranteeing with her family's name was no

small matter, but considering this was a helper her teacher had painstakingly found, the alluring beauty felt she should

do her part.

Sure enough, upon hearing Midori mention using the Takahashi family's name as collateral, Nagatsuka Kagekatsu's suspicion lessened considerably.

He hesitated for a moment before asking, "Where is this doctor? Can he come right away?"

"He's already here." Midori pointed to me, who was standing on the outermost edge.

While the two were talking, the surrounding noise had subsided, so everyone could hear clearly.

Now, with the pretty girl pointing, everyone quickly moved aside, revealing my figure.

Unbeknownst to others, the hospital director and Dr. Tominaga, standing at a distance awaiting news from the operating room, frowned.

"You're not a doctor from our hospital, so why are you wearing our hospital uniform?" The director's rebuke made

the agitated Nagatsuka Kagekatsu's heart sink, and he stopped in his tracks.

I walked up to the dean and said calmly, "Dean, what I wear isn't important. What's important is

whether I can save that critically ill girl." "

Insolence!" The dean's old face flushed red. "You can't even do it, Dr. Tominaga? What are you? Can't you even show your face?" "I'm not someone you know, but I can save the girl inside." I only said one sentence to him and then ignored him, turning instead to the truly skilled Dr. Tominaga: "If it's intracranial hemorrhage , in terms of vital signs, is the heart rate over 185? Is the pulse over 15 beats per second?" Dr. Tominaga was taken aback and subconsciously answered, "The heart rate is between 175 and 190, and the pulse is 12 beats per second." I frowned: "The bleeding is quite rapid; there should be at least two fractures in the skull." "Yes, two, one on the upper left side of the brain and one on the left temple." Dr. Tominaga's words became much more serious. "Have you done anything?" "No, I dared not proceed. I was afraid that a mishap could cost her her life." "Does your hospital have a cardiopulmonary stimulator and a helium-cooled operating room?" " We have a cardiopulmonary stimulator, the latest one, made by the Zurich Medical School in Switzerland, but we don't have a helium-cooled operating room." Dr. Tominaga said somewhat apologetically, "Our hospital never thought we'd need it, and the key is, no one knows how to use it." I fell into deep thought. A helium-cooled operating room is an important facility for dealing with massive bleeding in critical areas. This type of operating room maintains a certain temperature, slowing blood flow as much as possible without freezing the patient's organs and causing unnecessary new organ burden. Helium-cooled operating rooms are more commonly used in Europe and America, and of course, only some very large hospitals can afford them . Not to mention anything else, the maintenance cost of one million US dollars per month is beyond the reach of ordinary hospitals. The person next to me now understood that this mysterious person wearing a mask was indeed a talented doctor , who had left Dr. Tominaga speechless with just a few questions. Whether a doctor is competent or not can be judged by the attitude of his colleagues, and Dr. Tominaga was currently excited but also worried and apprehensive. "Sir, although our hospital doesn't have a helium-cooled operating room, we do have a cooling device made by the Munich Medical School in Germany , which can achieve 50% of the effect of a helium-cooled operating room," Dr. Tominaga said loudly. "And I, Tominaga Akira, can be your assistant. We can give it a try!" "Wow..." The hospital director gasped. He had tried many methods to get Tominaga Akira to Osaka Municipal Hospital. While the doctor's medical skills were undoubtedly excellent, he had a terrible temper and often harshly criticized other doctors. He had never seen him volunteer to be someone's assistant after just a few words. Not only the hospital director, but everyone else felt the same way, thinking that Dr. Tominaga was being a bit too frivolous . What they didn't know was that the questions I asked and my speculations about the injured person's injuries required profound medical expertise. Tominaga Akira was a meticulous medical expert; to ask questions that required further testing without even examining the injured person—what else could he be but a master? Most importantly, Tominaga Akira had a vague feeling that this doctor might be his idol . Although it seemed absurd, almost everyone in the medical community knew that the man had disappeared and no one could find him… This thought . "Doctor!" Nagatsuka Kagekatsu now understood that the doctor introduced by the Takahashi family's eldest daughter was indeed a master among masters; a few words had made the arrogant and aloof Tominaga Akira so respectful.

For his daughter's safety, Nagatoki Kagekatsu disregarded everything else. He knelt down abruptly, his voice

trembling and said, "Please try! If you can save Lingxin, you can take my life."

His shout snapped me out of my reverie. I smiled faintly and said to Fuminaga Akira, "

Excuse me , I was thinking about something. Let's go, let's solve this problem."

"Yes!" Fuminaga Akira led the way towards the operating room: the banging of the door opening and closing stirred

the hearts of many.

Midori watched the mysterious doctor's retreating figure, and for some reason, she thought of the teacher she both loved and hated,

a surge of confidence welling up in her heart.

"Uncle Nagatoki, don't worry, this doctor can definitely do it!" the little beauty exclaimed loudly.

"I hope he succeeds!" Nagatoki Kagekatsu murmured.

His legs buckled again, and he collapsed to the ground. Looking at his still unconscious wife, a

bitter smile appeared on his face. But when he looked at the obese man, his eyes were filled with murderous intent: "Rokkaku, I swear, if

anything happens , I will kill your son with my own hands. If I break this oath, may God strike me down with lightning!"

The obese man was already more nervous than him. He couldn't possibly resist Nagatsuki Kagekatsu's power. Hearing

such ruthless words, his heart pounded, and he opened his mouth but couldn't utter a word.

Thus, the obese man became second only to the Nagatsuki couple in hoping for Nagatsuki Ayaka's safety. He, who

had never really believed in gods, was also secretly praying.

In the operating room, Tominaga Akira and I stood by the operating table, surrounded by several doctors and nurses, their faces tense

yet expectant.

Before me stood a beautiful young woman of exquisite elegance and purity. Beneath her delicate, arched eyebrows, her eyes were naturally

closed, her eyelashes as captivating as thick, black fans. Her nose was firm yet natural, her cheeks fair and smooth,

her lips pink and slightly dry—her beauty was indescribable.

The girl wore a simple white dress, now tattered, revealing her pink

bra and snow-white thighs—clearly the result of a car accident.

Tominaga Akira was instructing people to fetch the cooling device, the cardiac and cerebral stimulator, and other necessary equipment. These were already in

the best operating room at Osaka Municipal Hospital, saving the trouble of fetching them.

Operating rooms require low temperatures, which are sufficient for general bleeding, but far from adequate

for delicate surgeries like intracranial surgery.

The anesthesia had already been administered, and the girl was in a deep sleep.

Taking advantage of this time, I personally and carefully shaved the beautiful girl's black hair. Those around me watched as

I shaved her hair perfectly clean, leaving it snow-white and without

any small cuts, in just one minute, which gave them more confidence in me.

I gently stroked the girl's head, my true energy gently penetrating deep into her skull, slowly healing

the bleeding areas. Although it couldn't completely seal them, it greatly slowed the bleeding.

The girl's injuries were deep; her left forehead and temple were covered in dark blood, clearly indicating not only trauma

but also necrosis of skin and brain tissue. The worst fear was that intracranial hemorrhage would simultaneously damage her brain structure

, potentially leading to intellectual and motor impairments.

Soon, the cooling device I requested arrived on the operating table. I placed it on

the side of and opened it.

"One of you will stand guard and adjust the temperature as instructed," I ordered. "Remember,

the highest temperature must not exceed -10 degrees Celsius, and the lowest must not exceed -30 degrees Celsius."

"Yes." A doctor stood next to the cooling device.

"The fluctuation of the cardiac and cerebral stimulator must not exceed 0.32 units. The stimulation rate must be slowed down and

continuously reduced as instructed."

"Understood." Another doctor stood opposite.

"Is the oxygen supply ready?"

"The equipment is normal and can be used immediately."

"Is the blood transfusion ready?"

"The first batch of 3,000 cc is ready, and the other 2,000 cc is ready at any time." "

Are the precision scalpels (sizes 16 to 18), ultra-fine sutures, miniature laser healing devices, and soft-

light X-ray irradiation devices ready?"

"Awaiting your instructions."

"Dr. Tominaga, I'll trouble you to be my assistant, responsible for the electrocardiogram and overall monitoring."

"Understood, sir." Tominaga nodded solemnly.

"Then, for the sake of the injured person's life, I entrust it to everyone!" I said, looking at each person.

"Thank you all!" Everyone quickly bowed in return.

"Begin!" I commanded. "Blood transfusion started, rate two milliliters per second; oxygen supply started, purity 68

% , ready to increase at any time; cooling device and cerebral stimulator activated as instructed!"

"Yes!" everyone answered in unison.

"Scalpel number sixteen!"

A nurse handed me a small, sharp scalpel. My hands were very steady as I gently

made a cut on the girl's forehead. Blood flowed out immediately, and Fuminaga Akira was there, constantly

absorbing the blood with medical cotton.

When the blood flow slowed down to a certain extent, my scalpel flashed again in the same spot. This time,

I used a little more force, piercing the skull and cutting it open.

The doctors and nurses present held their breath. One of the most dangerous parts of intracranial hemorrhage surgery is

here. The location and force of the incision are extremely precise; the slightest difference could lead to

surgical failure.

It was obvious that my technique was extremely skillful; I had not only opened the injured intracranial cavity but also significantly slowed the bleeding,

as evidenced by the new medical cotton in Fu Yongming's hand.

This was also the effect of my internal energy healing; this gentle healing method was

far more effective than using machines.

"Scalpel number seventeen, continue to lower the temperature, activate the laser healing device," I said coldly.

"Yes!" The doctors and nurses beside me had much more confidence in me, and even their voices became louder

.

I completely ignored their thoughts, my scalpel swung incessantly, and various intracranial surgeries...

The surgical instruments moved with incredible speed, keeping the surrounding doctors and nurses busy. If it weren't for my stern

instructions to bring them equipment and adjust the instruments, they wouldn't know how to cooperate.

Fu Yongming, the most composed of them all, was also

sweating reporting on the monitoring of the instruments while simultaneously preparing the tools for me.

Watching me skillfully remove the damaged surface of the skull without damaging its

structure , Fu Yongming's heart pounded!

In the simplest terms, this technique is like shaving a layer off a piece of paper; the remaining layer

is still usable for writing and drawing, and you can't even tell what's missing.

What surprised and amazed Fu Yongming most was that I removed fifty-two such damaged areas of the skull

surface in less than twenty minutes.

The fifty-two skull-shaving techniques were exactly the same, down to the last millimeter!

Such miraculous skill—how could a doctor on earth possess this? Even

Mr. Nach, North America's top surgeon, was probably only at this level!

At this moment, Tominaga Akira felt an urge to burst into tears. As a doctor, witnessing such divine

surgical skill was enough; even if he were to die immediately, his life would not have been in vain!

Everyone's nerves had never been so tense, but the more tense they were, the more

excited they became, their hands and feet moving several times more nimbly than usual.

Yet, even with their exceptional skill, they couldn't see how my hands moved. For a full thirty

minutes, my hands and voice never stopped.

Through the monitoring of the instruments, the girl's condition remained stable, without much fluctuation.

In fact, even without the help of the instruments, the doctors and nurses were already full of confidence just by looking at my extremely skilled technique and

calm voice.

"The suturing surgery is complete. Report the instrument monitoring results." After finishing the last stitch, I placed the needle and thread in the tray held up by the nurse

next to me and said to Tominaga Akira without looking up.

"Yes." Tominaga Akira mechanically turned his gaze: "Heartbeat normal! Blood vessel blockage completely gone

! Brain waves weak, but without any abnormalities! Breathing normal! Pulse normal... All vital

signs of the injured are normal, life condition is good!"

"Good, immediately transfer to the intensive care unit for observation for three days." I calmly raised my head: "The room temperature

must not exceed zero degrees; oxygen level reduced to 32%; blood transfusion stopped; the cardiac and cerebral stimulator continued to be used, 0.18

units, for one day; Semmeltone and Rodanchas fluids, along with anti-inflammatory and nutritional fluids,

administered at the minimum... If everything is normal, the patient can be transferred to the intensive care unit for observation for one week

... If everything is normal, the patient can be transferred to a private ward, and after half a month of recuperation, they can get out of bed and do rehabilitation

exercises ."

"Understood!" Several nurses quickly came over and cooperated with the doctor to

prepare .

"This surgery was a success, thanks to everyone's hard work, thank you all!" My voice remained stern, but

to the doctors and nurses, it was like a refreshing spring flowing into their hearts. The pressure they felt

vanished instantly, replaced by a surge of excitement and joy.

But even then, not one of them felt aches and pains, their bodies stiff. This short

half-hour surgery had proven more exhausting than four or five-hour surgeries—something they had

never imagined before.

"It's because of your exceptionally high medical skills, sir, that the patient was able to survive," said Tominaga Akira

respectfully . "In my fifteen years of medical practice, I've never seen a doctor with such miraculous surgical skills. You

are truly remarkable."

"Clap clap clap..."

Tominaga Akira could still speak, but the others were unable to express their excitement in words. They clapped their hands

lightly , their movements forming a powerful force.

"Well then, I'll leave the rest to you all." I nodded and said, "Dr. Tominaga, could you come here

for a moment?"

"Yes!"

Under the admiring gazes of the doctors and nurses, Tominaga Akira followed me to the outside of the operating room.

The operating room everyone talks about isn't actually where the surgery is performed. The real operating room includes a

large waiting area and a corridor—all sterile areas—before proceeding to individual small rooms inside . So, the area outside the operating room where Nagasuka Kagekatsu and the others were waiting was outside the operating area. Since were standing outside, they wouldn't see us. "If anything happens to her, call me at this number. Otherwise, don't bother me," I said , giving him a number. Tominaga Akira quickly repeated the number several times to memorize it, then said, "Sir…you are… that…" "It doesn't matter who you are," I interrupted him. "Some things are better left unsaid." "Yes! Tominaga understands!" Tominaga Akira was so excited he almost fainted. After I said that, he immediately understood who I was! My idol! Standing before him was none other than the most mysterious and legendary doctor in the entire medical world, Dr. Nak! What pleased Tominaga Akira most was that, judging from my eyes and words, this Dr. Nak , was very likely Japanese! If this news got out, it would drive countless people crazy! But Tominaga Akira was ultimately a man of great medical integrity; he wouldn't resort to sensationalism or sensationalism . For him, seeing his idol and assisting him in performing such a difficult surgery was already a very happy thing in his life. Taking in his reaction, I smiled faintly: "I'll leave the handling of the injured person's family to you. Where's the side door?" "The side door is over there." Tominaga Akira pointed, then suddenly realized: "Sir, are you leaving? Why? Your miraculous medical skills saved Miss Lingxin; it's time to receive her family's gratitude! You don't know , her parents are incredibly wealthy; they will thank you properly." "Just like your assessment of me earlier, if a doctor only treats and saves lives for money, then..."

"They really underestimated us." I chuckled softly, "The purpose of learning medicine is to heal the sick and save lives. What I love

is seeing the smiles on the faces of patients and the injured; nothing else matters. Dr. Tominaga, you're doing great. Keep it up!

Keep it up!"

"Yes, sir! You are the greatest doctor I have ever met!" Tominaga Akira bowed respectfully, "I

will definitely learn from you!"

When Tominaga Akira straightened up, there was no one in front of him. He was stunned for a moment, then burst

into laughter, which was particularly loud in the entire sterile area.
