[The Girls' School Teacher] (Episode 4, Chapter 8)

Chapter Eight: Successful Escape

We overheard every word of the conversation between Kobayashi Renryo and the Metropolitan Police Department Inspector, leaving Otomo Masao

completely drained of color. With me by his side, the three beauties were naturally not worried at all; they

knew I wasn't a bloodthirsty person, just trying to scare them.

It's no exaggeration to say that the Japanese are far behind the Americans in their use and monitoring of electronic equipment—

by more than a year or two.

Of the seventy-odd "bombs" and "landmines" scattered around, only

the few , and now this egg-sized, most powerful bomb in the world—"Heaven"—were the real deal.

The rest were just smoke bombs with some thermal devices, designed to make Japanese detection instruments think they were real, but in reality, they were practically

toys , utterly ineffective at killing.

After the violent explosion of "Heaven," no one dared to question the authenticity of the remaining bombs, and naturally

, no one dared to examine them. If the kidnappers detonated them all in a fit of rage, it would be disastrous.

Kobayashi Renryo, feigning composure, awaited orders from the Metropolitan Police Department. The "Guerrilla Special Security Unit"

had already retreated to a distance of at least thirty meters from the building, their guns poised for action, though even they themselves were unsure if they were

effective.

During this rare lull in the silence, television and radio broadcasts erupted into heated discussions and debates, with

everyone arguing enthusiastically about the kidnappers' three absurd demands. More reporters swarmed to

the vicinity of the building; though unable to cross the 100-meter cordon, they still aimed their cameras at every

visible target.

Reporters also randomly interviewed citizens in the streets and alleys who knew about the "Otomo Building kidnapping case."

To the authorities' surprise, while they all considered kidnapping a serious crime, over 80%

believed the three demands should be met—the undisputed correct course of action.

The cabinet ministers, also seated in the Prime Minister's official residence, were all utterly bewildered. At this sensitive time, the letter from

the Metropolitan Police Department was, of course, left on the table, temporarily withheld from distribution.

The three young women had finished writing the confessions that Masao Otomo had been making them read. They were now

earnestly deleting and revising them, and it was almost done.

"Young man!"

Masao Otomo knew that if he didn't make a move now, there would be no room for negotiation later. Ever since he saw

the huge hole in the ground, he had no more illusions. So, with a piercing scream, the heartless

businessman knelt down.

"Young man, a man has a reputation to uphold. I'm willing to give up all my wealth, please spare me! I

don't want to lose face in front of all of Japan!"

Masao Otomo's originally cold and hard face was now covered with tears, making him look somewhat pitiful.

I didn't look at him, but turned to my concubines: "What do you think?"

Eri rolled her big eyes: "Mr. Otomo, if you dare to do something, you should dare to take responsibility. You had the courage to do these despicable

things , so why don't you have the courage to take responsibility for your mistakes now?"

Chikage frowned and said: "Besides, you only feel ashamed, but those you harmed

didn't even have the chance to feel ashamed. How do you settle this score?"

"I'm willing to compensate them double, and several times more for those who died or were injured!"

Otomo Masao acted like a philanthropist at this moment: "In addition, I will hire them all so that

they can go back to work!"

"Hmm...you're right, it seems we didn't think as thoroughly as you." The doll-like beautiful girl

agreed and quickly added a few more words to the paper: "Okay...that's it..."

Otomo Masao looked at Koharu handing me the manuscript with tears in his eyes, his mind flashing with

the thought that he must take revenge after he escaped! Right now, this thought was the only pillar that kept him from falling.

I glanced at it and approvingly said, "Not bad, very well written. Let him read it aloud."

"Yay!"

The girls beamed with joy at my praise and tossed the manuscript to Masao Otomo.

"Read it carefully within one minute. If you dare to read it carelessly, there will be a high-flying acrobatic performance at the Otomo Building today

. We're really looking forward to a thrilling show."

It's easier to see the King of Hell than to deal with his underlings. Masao Otomo knew that although the one in charge was the boy, these three incredibly

beautiful and elegant girls were definitely not from ordinary families. He had even noticed

the unique family crests embroidered on their clothes. Such things couldn't be used casually in Japan; only traditional nobles

could possess them.

However, for someone who dared to cause trouble like this and provoke someone protected by the Sumiyoshi Association, the three girls couldn't be

very . He would still have a chance to retaliate later. But the prerequisite was that he needed to save his life, and to save

his life, he needed to do as these people demanded now.

Frowning as I read this utterly absurd declaration, I knew that simply reading

it would make Masao Otomo a laughingstock throughout Japan. But Otomo was a ruthless man; he

gritted his teeth and stood up.

"Wait a minute,"

I stopped him from grabbing the microphone. Just as he looked at me expectantly, my

next words sent his heart plummeting to the depths of hell: "Have him stand opposite the laptop and

press the 'S' key. The image will be transmitted directly to all the TV stations."

My wives were delighted, but this time, without their prompting, Otomo walked to the designated

spot with a resolute expression.

"'S' key... OK!"

Eri pressed the button, and instantly,

Otomo's face appeared on the NHK and TV Tokyo screens before our eyes.

"Oh, this is... this is the businessman who appeared on TV this afternoon, the one who's good at maliciously bankrupting businesses

!"

"Yes, that's him! I didn't realize he was Otomo Trading Company until now!"

Amidst the murmurs of discussion, Otomo Masao solemnly read aloud the confession the girls had written for him:

"Dear fellow countrymen, uncles, aunts, brothers, and sisters of Japan, I am Otomo

Masao, the sinner of the entire Japanese business world..."

The very first few words sent a chill down everyone's spine. Otomo Masao was over fifty; even if he wanted to apologize,

he didn't need to act so childish! But what followed was even more astonishing: "For so many years, in order to gain

a little money, I maliciously bankrupted twenty-one companies, causing incalculable losses to over 18,000 employees

. Those employees who committed suicide further demonstrated that I, Otomo Masao, am worse than a pig or a dog, a beast,

a bastard ."

"Through the guidance of the kind, intelligent, and courageous members of the 'Axiom Holy War Group,' I, Otomo Masao, have come to a strong

sense of my mistakes. Hereby, I solemnly and sacredly promise the people of Japan: All employees of the twenty-one companies I maliciously

bankrupted , including the families of deceased employees, please come to the 'Otomo Building' in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo. I will compensate you with five to ten times your normal retirement allowance and bow to apologize

to you ." "No amount of compensation can erase my sins. My meager compensation is only based on my fear of justice and righteousness, and my guilt for my social responsibility. From today onwards, I, Masao Otomo, promise everyone that I will never again maliciously bankrupt a company. Otherwise, may I be struck by lightning, die a horrible death, and be tormented by all evil spirits in the eighteenth level of hell. May justice prevail, may righteousness endure, and may there be eternal peace and love in the world. Amitabha!" Masao Otomo's righteous and solemn confession left everyone dumbfounded, unable to understand what he was up to. But the kidnappers did not give them any more chance to understand. After Masao Otomo finished reading "Amitabha," the video and audio signals were simultaneously cut off, and contact between the outside world and the building was once again interrupted. Kobayashi Renryo, a veteran detective with many years of experience, frowned after witnessing the scene. His mind raced suddenly ordered, "Everyone, be careful! This could be another trick by the criminals. Stay alert... Hasn't the blueprint arrived yet?" "It has." A detective, panting, handed over a blueprint from the outside. Kobayashi Renryo spread it on the roof of the vehicle and gathered his elite team to begin studying it. In truth, everyone's doubts were growing deeper. What were the criminals' intentions behind these almost childish tricks ? What was their true purpose? All of this troubled the veteran detectives of the Metropolitan Police Department, as well as the ministers of the Metropolitan Police Department, the Metropolitan Police Headquarters, and the Cabinet. After making such a huge fool of himself, Masao Otomo calmed down. He respectfully said, "Everyone, I've done what you asked me to do. Can you let me leave now?" "You want to leave?" "You said you wouldn't kill me if I confessed..." Masao Otomo said , "Besides, if you kill me, who will compensate the employees?" "What's the panic? I didn't say I was going to kill you, I was just asking." I smiled. "This seems to be your property, so we should be the ones leaving." "There are so many people outside, how are you going to get out?" Masao Otomo asked doubtfully. He wasn't asking this out of kindness, but because he was afraid we would take him hostage to cover our escape—we might just escape . "How you go is none of your business, but Mr. Otomo, you can say whatever you want, but next time I can't guarantee you'll be alive." I finished speaking with a smile, then nodded to my concubines: "My darlings, use the tranquilizer darts on Mr. Otomo, he's tired." "Giggle..." With the girls' giggles, before Otomo Masao could object, he was covered in dozens of silver needles and collapsed silently in front of the window. Five minutes later, the officer in charge of monitoring suddenly exclaimed: "Chief Kobayashi, the thermal detector has malfunctioned again , but this time it's not clear from the 30th floor, no, the 29th floor, the 28th floor... so fast!" Kobayashi Renliang's eyes flashed, and he snatched a communicator: "On your positions, on your positions, the kidnappers will be coming out with hostages soon, keep a close watch, don't let a single fly get away." "Yes, sir!" came the loud, unanimous reply. "Let's see where you run this time!" Kobayashi Renryo stared at the empty main entrance with hawk-like eyes, his voice so cold it could freeze on impact. "I want to see who you are, daring to challenge my dignity, Kobayashi Renryo!" "Fourth floor... third floor... second floor!" The thermal detector kept displaying numbers, but the moment the officer called out "second floor," a dramatic change occurred. A deafening roar suddenly filled the area around the Otomo Building, and thick plumes of black smoke billowed out like from hell, spreading rapidly in all directions. Within a minute, a radius of 100 meters around the building was completely shrouded in . Nothing could be seen beyond two meters. Screams and chaotic footsteps could be heard everywhere, but the black mist didn't cling tightly to the building; instead, it drifted outwards at an extremely fast speed. "Damn it! Everyone, don't move! Don't panic! Don't move!" Kobayashi Renryo shouted, but no one could hear him. Kobayashi Renryo immediately jumped onto the roof of the police car beside him. Looking out, the black smoke, like a tornado, rapidly drifted into the distance. He could see around the police car, but beyond a hundred meters, just like around the building , everything was shrouded in black fog, making visibility impossible. "Beasts! What kind of smoke bomb is this? Are they the American military? How can they have such advanced equipment? My God!" Kobayashi Renryo gritted his teeth, knowing perfectly well that the criminals were hiding in the black fog and were moving outwards with it. The supposed security perimeter was three hundred meters, but in reality, the police could only control an area within one hundred meters. Beyond one hundred meters, they could only monitor with satellites; beyond five hundred meters, there were dense crowds, and there was no way to disperse them. Once the criminals infiltrated, they were like dragons entering the sea, impossible to find again. "Bastards! I will never let you get away with this!" Kobayashi Renryo's loud shout carried far and wide…
