I drove two hours to get home and saw my wife had prepared a delicious meal. I immediately picked up the chopsticks and started eating. My wife called from the kitchen, "Go wash your hands! After saying that, we went to the supermarket. On the way, my wife saw a clothing store and went in to look at clothes. I was already distracted while shopping at the supermarket. When I got home, I told my wife, "We haven't paid the rent yet, we only paid the deposit. I smiled and turned around, pretending to walk towards the airport terminal.
I smoked a cigarette at the lobby entrance, watching my wife's car drive away. I hailed a taxi to go back to the company to get the things I had bought beforehand, then asked the driver to take me to my apartment complex. On the way, I called the real estate agency, saying I'd come to sign the rental contract today. The agency contacted the landlord, who called back saying the landlord lived a bit far and might not be able to make it in time, asking if tomorrow morning would be okay.
