We didn't go far, just met at a Western restaurant next to the hotel. It seemed to be part of the hotel's business, as the ambiance was decent.
They arrived shortly after we got there. Just like in the video, the couple were older than us, around 40, and both were in good shape. The man seemed refined, and the woman was very poised. We chatted about work and daily life, much like online – both were quite talkative and knew how to maintain appropriate boundaries. They even recommended the crispy pork from Zhongshan, which we tried the next day; it was definitely better than the Guangzhou version. We
wanted to order a bottle of wine, but my wife said she didn't want any, as she had plans for the evening. We just chatted and ate happily. My wife didn't know, so there was no pressure. The other person and I both knew, but we didn't know how to steer the conversation to the next level. It was clear they were experienced and had been around a lot. His wife started complimenting my wife on her figure, height, and looks, and the two women chatted and ate, gradually becoming acquainted.
As we were finishing our meal, the man started introducing the nearby night markets and karaoke bars, saying some were quite nice and he hoped to treat us to some relaxing karaoke and a weekend break. I was worried because my wife had mentioned having something to do earlier, but she readily agreed, probably because she enjoyed the experience and was tired from two weeks of business trips and wanted to unwind.
We went to a karaoke bar in their car; it was very lively. They were very hospitable, ordering drinks and fruit platters. Two women went to choose songs and sing, while we drank and watched them sing. The man asked if I wanted to try having sex without changing partners that night. I said I'd see if my wife drank anything; she gets all hot and it wouldn't be difficult. She doesn't drink much, and she's more uninhibited in bed after drinking.
The man understood what I meant. I saw him go to his wife and say a few words, probably asking her to drink some more.
