[Wuxia] I Have a Harem in Tianlong (Complete) - 3

Chapter 20

Hearing Zhong Ling's words, Chu Bawang was speechless.

Chu Bawang knew she had never left Wanjie Valley, and even this time she had secretly run away. Gan Baobao and Zhong Wanchou naturally wouldn't constantly tell their daughter, "Ling'er, you're so beautiful!" and similar phrases. Zhong Ling hadn't seen many people; she just knew how she looked and had never known whether she was beautiful or not.

Chu Bawang solemnly said, "Ling'er is even more beautiful than a fairy! How could no one say Ling'er is beautiful? Those people must be blind!"

Hearing Chu Bawang praise her like this, Zhong Ling chuckled. At this moment, she suddenly thought of Duan Yu, and the two of them kept appearing in her mind, annoying her to no end. After a while, she couldn't help but sigh, "It's a pity we're trapped here. Why isn't that idiot here yet!"

She stomped her feet angrily.

Chu Bawang knew she was referring to Duan Yu. Duan Yu was indeed impressive; he had won Zhong Ling's favor so quickly. However, he had already sent Duan Yu away, at least two days later. Now was his chance. Chu Bawang asked, "Ling'er, do you want to go out?"

Hearing this, Zhong Ling was overjoyed. She already thought Chu Bawang was a very capable person. She excitedly asked, "Brother Chu, do you have a way?" "It's no use. They're very fierce. When my father comes, I'll make him feed them all the poisonous creatures in the world." She giggled wistfully, her words sounding fierce, but coming from her mouth, they had a mischievous quality.

Chu Bawang said, "Beautiful little fairy, will you thank Brother Chu?"

Chu Bawang bent down, making a carrying motion. Without hesitation, Zhong Ling climbed onto Chu Bawang's back in a flash. Then Chu Bawang used his Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique) to leave. It wasn't until dawn that the Shennong Gang realized Zhong Ling was missing!

When Chu Bawang found Zhong Ling, dusk had already fallen, and now twilight had descended.

Chu Bawang carried Zhong Ling through the woods. A cool evening breeze blew, and Zhong Ling felt a chill. Combined with the absolute darkness of the forest, she felt a sudden chill run down her spine and was instantly startled. Her heart pounded, and her delicate little mouth murmured softly, "Zhong Ling isn't afraid, Zhong Ling isn't afraid. With Brother Chu here, Zhong Ling isn't afraid of anything." Her eyes were tightly closed, her little ears were perked up, and she dared not move, her little hands instinctively clinging tightly to Chu Bawang.

*Gurgle!* Suddenly a voice rang out. Chu Bawang put Zhong Ling down, and saw her looking both shy and pitiful as she said, "Brother Chu, I'm hungry!"

She had secretly run away a few days ago, intending to have some fun and see the world, otherwise her father would catch her and she wouldn't be able to play anymore. So she hadn't eaten anything, and had just happily skipped and hopped her way up Wuliang Mountain, only to be trapped by the Shennong Gang before she'd had enough fun. Today, seeing that Duan Yu hadn't brought the antidote, the Shennong Gang wouldn't give her any food—she was starving!

Chu Bawang could more or less understand her situation and said indulgently, "Brother Chu will find you something to eat right away." Zhong Ling smiled and said, "Brother Chu, you're so kind!"

At this moment, Chu Bawang had finally successfully banished Duan Xiaoqiang from her memory!

Chu Bawang quickly hunted a large pheasant, gathered some firewood, lit a campfire, cleaned it, and roasted it over the fire.

Soon, the fragrant aroma of roasted meat filled Zhong Ling's nostrils. Hungry and ravenous, her appetite was instantly whetted, and she

stared intently at the roasted chicken in Chu Bawang's hands. Seeing Zhong Ling's expression, a warm feeling welled up in Chu Bawang's heart. After the pheasant was cooked, Chu Bawang tore off half for Zhong Ling. He estimated that half weighed at least two pounds. Watching Zhong Ling happily eating the pheasant he had roasted, her joy seemed to infect Chu Bawang for a moment, filling him with warmth. He even felt that seeing her like this, even roasting chicken for her every day would be worthwhile!

Zhong Ling felt embarrassed by Chu Bawang's gaze, because in just a short while she had devoured the half-eaten chicken in her hand, while Chu Bawang's half-eaten chicken remained unopened. She blushed and said, "Brother Chu, why haven't you eaten yet?"

Chu Bawang laughed, "It's not that I haven't eaten, it's just that by the time I started eating, you had already finished!"

Zhong Ling blushed even more, lowering her pretty head shyly, "Ling'er is just hungry!"

She quickly began stealing glances at the half-eaten chicken in Chu Bawang's hand, her drooling eyes making him laugh, but more than anything, he found her adorable. He couldn't help but slip his half-eaten chicken into Zhong Ling's hand as well.

Zhong Ling got the chicken she wanted most, but quickly pushed it back to Chu Bawang, saying, "Brother Chu, you eat it, Ling'er isn't hungry!"

Chu Bawang laughed, "Your mouth is practically watering, and you still say you're not hungry?"

Zhong Ling said shyly, "Really?"

She quickly wiped her mouth with her small hand and said, "No!"

Seeing Chu Bawang's mocking smile, she immediately knew he was lying to her, and said angrily, "Brother Chu, you're lying to Ling'er, you're a bad person!"

Chu Bawang chuckled helplessly. He was a good person just now, and now he's a bad person again. He didn't say anything, and stuffed the roast chicken into Zhong Ling's hands again.

Zhong Ling tore the chicken in half, gave the larger half to Chu Bawang, and ate the smaller half herself.

Seeing her like this, Chu Bawang quickly switched them back, laughing, "Ling'er, eat more, Brother Chu isn't hungry!"

Zhong Ling was immediately moved to tears, and said softly, "Brother Chu, why are you so good to Ling'er?" "

King Chu laughed, "Because Ling'er is also good to Brother Chu!"

Zhong Ling silently finished the half chicken, then nestled happily against King Chu's chest. She felt his chest was warm and safe, and her heart was filled with sweetness. She found herself longing for Brother Chu's embrace. Duan Yu was completely absent from her mind, and King Chu had successfully taken Duan Yu's first woman. Now, Zhong Ling's eyes were filled with nothing but King Chu.

Zhong Ling felt King Chu's heartbeat, and both of them remained silent, sensing each other's feelings. Gradually, a sweet and happy smile appeared on their faces.

Zhong Ling suddenly broke the silence and said, "King Chu, can you tell me a story?" "

The King of Chu doted on her, saying, 'Ling'er, what kind of stories do you like? Your brother Chu will tell you any!'

Zhong Ling perked up at the thought of her brother Chu telling her stories, grinning, 'Brother Chu, I'll listen to any story you tell!'

Chapter 021: Kissing Equals Having a Baby?

So the King of Chu began telling Zhong Ling the story of Snow White from his past life. As she listened, Zhong Ling gradually fell asleep, drool still dripping from her lips, murmuring, 'Prince, princess, hehe!' Perhaps she was imagining herself as Snow White." "It's a dream!" Chu Bawang chuckled softly. Being with Zhong Ling always brought him a sense of comfort, and he gradually began to pamper her like a little sister, never daring to raise his voice for fear of startling her. Chu Bawang looked down at Zhong Ling, her little head resting on his shoulder, her face flushed like a ripe cherry. A delicate fragrance, like orchids and musk, wafted into his nostrils. He shook his head and smiled, suppressing his excitement. Zhong Ling, nestled comfortably on his shoulder, was gently snoring, fast asleep.

Chu Bawang shook his head and smiled. This Zhong Ling was indeed a lively character. If it were anyone else, he would definitely be wary, but Zhong Ling was so innocent and guileless that there was no need for that. Chu Bawang didn't know that Zhong Ling already considered him the best person in the world! He found a rock, sat down cross-legged, and began to meditate and regulate his breathing. His mind was divided in two: one to be alert to the surrounding situation, and the other to examine his body. He felt his meridians throbbing, tingling, and heating up, and his internal energy was abundant in his dantian, far exceeding what it had been before. After running around all night, his skill had greatly improved. He secretly pondered that his improved skill was due to two factors: firstly, the Lingbo Weibu (Lingbo Steps), and secondly, the fact that a significant portion of his golden core had been absorbed by the Beiming Divine Art. The Lingbo Weibu was originally meant to restore internal energy, but Chu Bawang hadn't expected it to also accelerate the absorption of the golden core's true energy. As she pondered, her body was filled with warm, comforting true energy. Absorbing the inner strength gained from the Golden Core, she swiftly transformed it into pure Northern Darkness True Energy

after using the Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique). *** The first rays of morning sunlight shone on Zhong Ling's face, and she slowly awoke. She yawned, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and stretched a few times—utterly adorable!

The first thing she did upon opening her eyes was to check if her Brother Chu was still there; she was afraid she was dreaming! Thinking back to yesterday when she was starving in the Shennong Gang, and today she felt like "Snow White," and last night she even dreamed of living happily ever after with Brother Chu. "If Brother Chu could always be this good to me, I'd be willing to die," she thought, her heart just beginning to stir with first love. Seeing Chu Bawang smiling at her, she thought her secret had been seen through, and shyly lowered her cute little head, her cheeks flushed, her hands unsure where to go, her eyes darting around as if trying to find a hole to disappear into—utterly adorable!

Chu Bawang softly called, "Ling'er!"

Hearing Chu Bawang's call, Zhong Ling slightly raised her pretty head, but looking into Chu Bawang's deep eyes, her heart pounded. She was agitated by his affectionate gaze, her face growing even redder. Chu Bawang looked at her lovely face and luscious lips, growing more and more delighted, and couldn't resist kissing her lips. Zhong Ling's cheeks flushed even more. She felt herself about to completely succumb. The tingling, numbing sensation of skin-to-skin contact was full of stimulation and allure. Could this be the pleasure between a man and a woman? What a wonderful feeling! Would Ling'er have a child? Was Ling'er about to give birth to a lovely little baby for Brother Chu? Was Snow White's dream coming true? Did Brother Chu want to have a baby with Ling'er right now? How nervous she was! Lost in her thoughts, she felt that last night's dream had come true. With her heart set on Chu Ba Wang, she didn't resist, but nervously closed her eyes. However, because of her nervousness, her little mouth was also tightly closed, unintentionally rejecting Chu Ba Wang's intrusion.

"Ling'er, open your mouth, okay?"

Hearing Chu Bawang's question, she subconsciously obeyed, obediently opening her small mouth. But upon discovering that Chu Bawang's disgusting tongue had invaded her mouth, she couldn't help but struggle slightly, twisting her delicate body. When her little tongue touched Chu Bawang's tongue, her body trembled, as if she had been electrocuted.

Zhong Ling felt as if she were in a dream as Chu Bawang's hot lips attacked her. When Chu Bawang's lips intertwined with her fragrant tongue, her mouth secreted saliva, which Chu Bawang sucked.

Chu Bawang's tongue moved freely in her mouth, sometimes entwining with her little tongue, sometimes wandering along her smooth teeth, their mouths pressed tightly together.

The feeling of kissing was so wonderful that Zhong Ling felt as if a hundred flowers were blooming. She was like a happy butterfly, flying freely among the flowers, light and infinitely graceful. Their tongues intertwined, sucking each other, unwilling to separate.

Zhong Ling's beautiful, delicate cheeks flushed crimson, and her exquisite body felt a wave of indescribable, unprecedented pleasure washing over her. A short, shy moan escaped her pretty nose: "Mmm!"

Then, she collapsed limply into Chu Bawang's arms.

Chu Bawang pulled away from her cherry lips, gazing into her lovely eyes, and chuckled, "Was that good?"

Zhong Ling replied shyly, "Mmm, I want more!"

With such a beauty's request, Chu Bawang, of course, readily obliged! Jian Wuhen embraced her slender, jade-like neck, and kissed her red, moaning lips. A soft "Eek" escaped her lips, a shy, instinctive reaction from a pure virgin.

Chu Bawang suddenly attacked again, his thick lips sealing her moist, soft lips, his rough tongue probing her mouth.

Mmm! She let out another soft gasp, her face flushed with embarrassment. Her beautiful eyes were tightly closed as she smelled the man's strong scent of sweat, and her heart trembled slightly.

Jian Wuhen sucked on the sweet, fragrant tongue of the young beauty, greedily absorbing her saliva. Her tongue was so tender, so delicate, and so sweet and fragrant. He passionately entwined his tongue with hers. Zhong Ling greedily kissed Chu Bawang passionately, unwilling to part even for a moment. Her delicate nose kept emitting soft moans, and even though she seemed to be almost out of breath, she didn't want to be separated from Chu Bawang.

She nestled breathlessly in Chu Bawang's arms, asking expectantly and nervously, "Brother Chu, do you like having babies?"

It turned out that her passionate kiss was because she thought she was going to have a baby with Chu Bawang! That's why she was nervous. What would she do if she had a child and her Brother Chu didn't like it?

Hearing Zhong Ling's shocking words, Chu Bawang was speechless!

Seeing that Chu Bawang remained silent, she said anxiously and shyly, "Brother Chu, please tell Ling'er!"

Chu Bawang smiled helplessly, "Having a child isn't that easy."

She was so young and already thinking about having a child for her Brother Chu; he really didn't know what was going on in her head.

Chu Bawang didn't answer her, but instead smiled, "Why do you ask that?"

Zhong Ling was so shy that she couldn't speak. She knew that although she had only known Brother Chu for a day, she simply loved being with him. She didn't understand what love was; she only knew that she wanted to be with Brother Chu forever, and she felt happy when she was with him. She didn't know anything else; she just had a vague, unclear idea: if she had a baby for Brother Chu, she could be with him forever. Although she didn't know why she thought this way, she believed it completely. This was her deepest, most shameful thought, and how could she dare to say it aloud? So after stammering for a long time, she finally managed to say, "Ah, the weather is so nice today!"

Chu Bawang was speechless!

Chapter 22 Lingbo Weibu

Zhong Ling suddenly cried out, "I'm dead! I forgot about Brother Duan! He's been poisoned by that goatee's poison, and it's about to take effect!"

Chu Bawang said, "Ling'er, don't worry, he'll be fine!"

Chu Bawang wasn't worried at all about Duan Yu's safety. Judging by the time, he should have eaten the Manggu Toad by now. In the original story, he was immune to all poisons after eating the Manggu Toad, so how could he be harmed by a common poison? Besides, Duan Yu was once the protagonist of Tianlong, possessing the tenacious vitality of a cockroach; he definitely wouldn't die! Otherwise, how could he be called Xiaoqiang? Zhong Ling said, "Brother Chu, my legs are so tired, can you carry me?"

Although Zhong Ling had only known Chu Bawang for a day, she trusted her Brother Chu very much. If Brother Chu said that Duan Yu was alright, then he must be alright. So she put aside her concern for Duan Yu.

Of course, King Chu wouldn't refuse the adorable Ling'er. Carrying Zhong Ling on his back was easy; she weighed only thirty or forty kilograms, her soft, delicate body felt comfortable to carry, without any pain. Moreover, the sweet scent of Zhong Ling's breath occasionally reached his ears, stirring King Chu's heart. However, he didn't dwell on it. Earlier, to be considerate of Zhong Ling, King Chu had walked slowly, but now, carrying her, he naturally used the Lingbo Weibu (Light Steps on Water), moving as light as a swallow, shimmering with light, his clothes fluttering, flowing gracefully, like a fairy treading on water, drifting in, riding the clouds and chasing the wind, so free and unrestrained. Seeing this movement, Zhong Ling immediately liked it and couldn't help but ask: "Brother Chu, what kind of lightness skill is this? It's so beautiful! Are you still using your hands? How can that be enjoyable?" Forum reputation guaranteed! High-quality silicone video of Fan Bingbing's genitals, molded to a realistic state, highly lifelike vulva shape, soft and delicate skin! King Xiang Yu knew the allure of the Lingbo Weibu (Lingbo Steps) to women; it could be said that Lingbo Weibu was the most suitable light-body skill for women, not only profoundly mysterious and effective, but also ethereal and graceful, like a fairy strolling. However, King Xiang Yu also intended for Zhong Ling to learn this Lingbo Weibu, which would make her safer and prevent her from being captured by third-rate characters like the Shennong Gang. To capture someone who knew Lingbo Weibu, one would need at least a top-tier master! If someone knew Lingbo Weibu and also possessed deep internal energy, its power would be even greater! Therefore, Lingbo Weibu was definitely the number one skill for escaping death. Chu Bawang laughed, "Ling'er, do you want to learn? Brother Chu will teach you!"

Zhong Ling nodded vigorously like a chick pecking at rice, "Yes, yes! Can I really learn this beautiful light-body skill?"

Chu Bawang laughed, "Of course! As long as Brother Chu knows it, Ling'er can learn it!"

Zhong Ling said happily, "Brother Chu, you're so good!"

Brother Chu's tone changed, and he laughed, "Brother Chu has conditions, though!"

Zhong Ling asked, "What conditions does Brother Chu have? Ling'er will agree to anything!"

She wasn't worried at all that her beloved Brother Chu might have ulterior motives!

Brother Chu pointed to her small mouth, then to his own face, tilting his head slightly upward with a wicked smile. Zhong Ling's face instantly turned rosy. Of course, she knew what Brother Chu wanted her to do, but she never expected that Brother Chu wanted to "have a baby" with her right here! She was extremely shy, and seeing Chu Bawang's teasing smile made her heart pound even harder. Finally, she mustered up her courage and kissed Chu Bawang.

Chu Bawang had only intended for her to lightly kiss his cheek, but unexpectedly, she kissed his lips. His heart stirred, and his hands instinctively wrapped around her slender waist, their surfaces soft and smooth to the touch! Their lips met, and both felt a jolt. A soft moan escaped Zhong Ling's lips—her instinctive shyness. She let out another soft gasp, her face flushed, her beautiful eyes closed, sensing the man's strong scent of sweat, her heart trembling slightly. Having had experience before, she didn't resist Chu Bawang's intrusion, obediently opening her small mouth. She had already grown to enjoy the shameful act of "giving birth," especially since after the baby was born, she could be with Brother Chu forever! Jian Wuhen sucked on the beautiful woman's sweet, fragrant tongue, greedily absorbing her saliva. Her tongue was so tender, so delicate, its taste so sweet and fragrant. He passionately entwined his tongue with hers.

Her delicate nose emitted soft moans, her arms tightly wrapped around Chu Bawang's neck, her little tongue actively darting with his until she was breathless. Only then did she release him, panting heavily. Throughout the entire process, she was very proactive, prompting Chu Bawang to exclaim, "I never imagined that little girls in ancient times could be so proactive!" Although Zhong Ling also enjoyed the feeling of kissing, Chu Bawang was unaware that Zhong Ling was already planning to spend her life with him and wanted to bear him a baby, which was why she was so proactive.

Seeing her adorable expression, her lips slightly upturned, Chu Bawang smiled and asked, "Comfortable, wasn't it?" Zhong Ling

blushed deeply and said in a sweet voice, "It's a strange feeling!"

She thought to herself: Is giving birth this comfortable? Why did my mother say that she suffered a lot when she gave birth to me? Do I already have a baby now? Just thinking about it made her feel incredibly happy. As long as she bore a baby for her Chu Bawang, he would stay with her for life. In a good mood, looking into Chu Bawang's eyes, she suddenly remembered that beautiful footwork and said expectantly, "Brother Chu, I want to learn that beautiful footwork now."

Chu Bawang laughed, "Alright, Brother Chu will teach you right away!" Chu Bawang cleared his throat and said, "This footwork is called Lingbo Weibu, based on the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching. Its mystery lies in the ability to soar through the air and control one's qi. Those with extremely high skill can fly over rivers, valleys, and even farther distances, and during their flight, they can..." "Without moving the body, one can fly by manipulating qi, or walk on air as if on flat ground, with an elegant and graceful demeanor, as if walking on thin ice, detached from the world, ascending to immortality. When a woman walks with this gait, her light gauze moves with the wind, like a fairy among flowers, a spirit of the night, like a fairy walking on water, hence the name 'Lingbo Weibu' (Lingbo Steps)."

As Zhong Ling listened, her eyes shone with increasing delight. Her lovely big eyes were fixed on Chu Bawang, and she said, "It's so amazing, Brother Chu, are you really going to pass on such a powerful and beautiful gait to me?" Chu Bawang said affectionately, "This gait is most suitable for Ling'er. If Brother Chu doesn't pass it on to you, who else would I pass it on to?"

Hearing Chu Bawang's words, Zhong Ling felt incredibly sweet. Brother Chu is the best person in the world, she thought. In the martial arts world, many people would turn against each other for martial arts manuals, and Chu Bawang would actually pass on such a powerful gait to her. Of course, she felt happy and sweet. Although she didn't know many things in the martial arts world, she knew the value of martial arts manuals.

The King of Chu, unaware of her inner thoughts, said, "The Lingbo Weibu (Lingbo Steps) is truly a high-level cultivation technique, encompassing both internal and external skills. It allows one to perceive the nature of the spiritual energy at any given time and place, thereby emitting external energy of the same nature. Since like elements repel each other, the body can levitate and float. It involves the directions of the sixty-four hexagrams, and the footwork is quite strange. Beginners often cannot connect the next step after taking one step, usually needing to turn around in mid-air to connect skillfully and naturally; and sometimes, it requires leaping forward and backward, dodging left and right." "The movement must be in accordance with the footwork. Furthermore, one must be familiar with acupoints such as Shaoshang, Tanzhong, Guanyuan, and Zhongji, as well as the Yi Jing hexagrams like Tongren, Dayou, Guimei, and Weiji."

Chu Bawang, having said this, asked, "Ling'er, do you understand what your elder brother Chu is saying?"

Zhong Ling replied, "Ling'er understands! What elder brother Chu is saying is very simple!" Chu

Bawang was startled and asked, "You really understand?"

Zhong Ling replied matter-of-factly, "I understand everything elder brother Chu is saying. My father forced me to read since I was little, so I have a basic understanding of the Yi Jing and the Eight Trigrams! What elder brother Chu is saying is almost exactly what I've learned!" Chu Bawang, upon hearing this, felt ashamed. He didn't really understand the Yi Jing and the Eight Trigrams; he only had some understanding of the footwork based on his intelligence. Only after mastering it did he fully grasp the mysteries of the Lingbo Weibu (Lingbo Steps). Therefore, what he was saying was all based on his personal experience.

Seeing Zhong Ling's quick wit and mastery of the I Ching and Bagua, Jian Wuhen decided against sharing his own insights, as they wouldn't suit her. Instead, he decided to directly reveal the secrets of the Lingbo Weibu technique. With that thought, Jian Wuhen said, "I will now tell you the key points of the Lingbo Weibu. Listen carefully!"

Zhong Ling nodded her cute head happily and said, "Yes!"

Chu Bawang solemnly said: "Her form is like a startled swan, graceful as a swimming dragon, radiant as autumn chrysanthemums, and flourishing as spring pines. She appears as if light clouds veil the moon, drifting like swirling snow in the wind. From afar, she shines like the rising sun at dawn. Up close, she glows like a lotus emerging from clear water. Her figure is perfectly proportioned, neither too slender nor too plump. Her shoulders are like those of a sculpted figure, her waist as slender as a silken thread. Her neck is long and elegant, her skin fair and radiant, needing no adornment or makeup. Her hair is piled high like clouds, her eyebrows are delicate and arched, her lips are bright red, and her teeth are pearly white." Bright eyes, charming smile, dimpled cheeks, exquisite beauty, serene demeanor. Gentle grace, captivating words. Unique attire, her features perfectly complementing the portrait. She wears a shimmering silk robe, adorned with jade and precious stones. Her headdress is embellished with gold and kingfisher feathers, pearls adorning her body. She wears embroidered shoes for distant journeys, her light, misty skirt trailing behind. A faint fragrance of orchids wafts around her as she strolls leisurely in the mountain corner. Suddenly, she leaps into the air, frolicking and playing. To her left, a colorful banner hangs; to her right, a cassia flag provides shade. She sweeps her fair wrists along the sacred riverbank, gathering dark fungus from the rushing rapids.

I am captivated by her beauty and grace, yet my heart is stirred with unease. Lacking a proper matchmaker to convey my affections, I entrust my words to the gentle waves of the river. I wish my sincere wishes to reach her first, and offer my jade pendant as a token. Alas, this fair maiden is truly virtuous, well-versed in etiquette and poetry. She raises her jade pendant to me, pointing to the deep abyss as our appointed time. Holding fast to my earnest affection, I fear this spirit might deceive me. Grieving the broken promise of Jiao Fu, I am filled with hesitation and doubt. I composed myself, calming my mind, and uphold propriety to maintain self-control.

At this point, Zhong Ling seems to sense something and begins to walk. At first, her steps are somewhat unnatural, but she quickly corrects her mistakes, becoming increasingly agile and skilled. Her movements are light and graceful, like a startled wild goose taking flight; her body is strong and supple, like a dragon playing in the air.

The King of Chu, seeing Zhong Ling's remarkable talent, is delighted for her and continues: "Thus, the spirit of Luo Shen is moved, pacing back and forth in bewilderment. Her divine light flickers, sometimes bright, sometimes dim." She stood tall and slender like a crane, as if about to take flight but not yet soaring. Her treads were lush and fragrant with pepper, her steps trailing behind the sweet scent of fragrant herbs. She uttered a long, mournful sigh, her voice sharp and lingering. Then, a multitude of spirits mingled, calling to their companions. Some played in the clear streams, some soared over the divine islets. Some gathered bright pearls, some collected emerald feathers. They followed the two consorts of the Xiang River, and accompanied the maidens of the Han River. They lamented the gourd's lack of a mate, and sang of the lonely Cowherd. They raised their light robes, their flowing sleeves fluttering as they lingered. Her body was swift as a flying duck, elusive as a spirit. She glided lightly across the water, her silk stockings stirring up dust. Her movements were unpredictable, sometimes precarious, sometimes at ease. Her advances and retreats were uncertain, sometimes going, sometimes returning. Her eyes sparkled with brilliance, her jade-like face radiant. Before she uttered a word, her breath was like a fragrant orchid. Her graceful beauty made me forget to eat.

Then, the wind ceased, and the river calmed its waves. Feng Yi beat the drum, Nuwa sang a clear song. Flying fish warned the chariot, jade phoenixes sang as they departed. Six dragons stood in unison, carrying the magnificent cloud chariot. Whales and sea monsters leaped alongside the wheels, water birds flew as guards. Then they crossed the northern islet, passed the southern hill, their white collars flowing, returning to the clear sun, their red lips moving slowly to speak, outlining the principles of their union. They lamented the difference between the ways of humans and gods, and grieved that their prime years could not be fulfilled. They raised their silk sleeves to wipe their tears, which flowed in torrents down their robes. They mourned the eternal end of their beautiful meeting, and grieved that she had departed for a foreign land. Having no small token of affection to offer as a token of love, they presented the bright earrings of Jiangnan. Though she dwelled in the darkness, her heart remained with the king. Suddenly, she realized where she had gone, and her spirit was shrouded in darkness.

So she turned her back on the lowlands and climbed the highlands, her feet moving while her spirit lingered. She left behind her feelings and imagination, gazing back with sorrow. She hoped her spirit would return to form, and ride a light boat upstream. Floating on the long river, she forgot to return, her thoughts endless and her longing ever increasing. The night was long and I could not sleep, until dawn broke amidst the heavy frost. I ordered my servants to prepare the carriage, for I was to return to the eastern road. I grasped the reins and raised the whip, but hesitated, unable to depart.

Zhong Ling possessed a remarkable understanding of the Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique), a fact that even Xiang Yu, the King of Chu, had to acknowledge!

(Note: If you are proficient in this article, then congratulations! You must have mastered the Lingbo Weibu!

Chapter 23 Encounter with Mu Wan)

After the Overlord finished speaking, she saw that Zhong Ling had already grasped its essence. Her light upper garment fluttered in the breeze. She moved as lightly as a bird, ethereal and unfathomable; she walked lightly on the water, raising a misty fog beneath her feet; her whereabouts were unpredictable, her joy and sorrow unclear; her advance and retreat were uncertain, she seemed to want to leave but also linger. It seems that the Lingbo Weibu is most suitable for women. Although she was more skilled than Zhong Ling, she was far less graceful than Zhong Ling. Moreover, when Zhong Ling walked, her eyes were filled with tenderness, her gaze was bright and spirited, and the joy of love radiated from her beautiful face; it seemed as if she had many words on her lips, and her breath exuded a faint fragrance of orchids; her beautiful face... The moon's shy and gentle beauty captivated Chu Bawang, making him lose all sense of place.

Zhong Ling, walking along, stumbled and nearly tripped. Luckily, Chu Bawang caught her quickly. Zhong Ling asked shyly, "Brother Chu, is it because I'm not walking well?"

Uh! If this is walking poorly, then what is considered good? However, her skill wasn't enough. Although she had grasped the profound essence, she still couldn't quite capture the spirit of the Lingbo Weibu (Lingbo Steps). She walked with graceful posture, while Chu Bawang focused on speed and conserving internal energy.

Chu Bawang said, "Ling'er walks better than Brother Chu! Aren't you satisfied?"

Zhong Ling said, "But I almost fell just now!"

Chu Bawang said, "That's because your skill..." "It's still too shallow, you can't go any further!"

Zhong Ling laughed, "Then I must cultivate my internal energy diligently from now on!" I never expected that Zhong Ling, who never wanted to practice martial arts, would be so determined to practice diligently because of the Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique)!

Suddenly, the sound of clashing weapons came from ahead; it must be a fight.

Chu Bawang, holding Zhong Ling's small hand, used the Lingbo Weibu to fly towards the direction of the sound. He saw a woman in black in the distance, and Chu Bawang's first thought was: He'd encountered Mu Wanqing!

When Chu Bawang looked over, he saw a group of people surrounding a woman in black. She was facing away from him, so he couldn't see her face, but he could see that her back was slender, with beautiful curves, a golden ratio figure, and a tuft of jet-black hair, dressed like a young girl.

The woman in black moved among the group... Feeling a dull ache in the wound on her leg, she suddenly changed her swordplay, her sword flashes as unpredictable as lightning. Suddenly, the old man cried out; he had been stabbed in the ribs. The woman in black swiftly unleashed three more sword strikes, forcing the old woman and the swordsman to leap out of the circle to avoid her. Her sword flashed back, engulfing the old woman in black in the sword light. In an instant, the old woman in black had suffered three small sword wounds. Ignoring her wounds, she lunged at the woman in black like a madwoman. The remaining three also turned to fight the woman in black again. The old woman in black quietly rolled closer to the woman in black, her right hand slashing at her calf with a short knife. The woman in black kicked her, sending her tumbling. Just then, the old woman in black's iron crutch touched her forehead. The woman in black swiftly swung her longsword, parrying Granny Jia's iron crutch, and thrust it at her enemy. Granny Jia quickly dodged the woman in black's sword, using her crutch to defend herself. Mu Wanqing breathed a sigh of relief, preparing to attack again, when suddenly, with a "thud," she felt a sharp pain in her left shoulder. It turned out that after being injured, the old man no longer used his shovel, but instead pulled out a steel awl and lunged at the woman in black. Taking advantage of the woman's momentary lapse in attention, he stabbed her in the shoulder. The woman in black, enduring the excruciating pain, retaliated with a palm strike, leaving the old man's face a bloody mess, instantly killing him. The woman in black, unable to remove the steel awl from her left shoulder, endured the pain and launched two rapid sword attacks at Granny Jia, then thrust her sword at the swordsman. These three sword strikes were of unpredictable and masterful speed. Granny Jia's right cheek was immediately slashed, and the swordsman's neck was grazed by the blade. Although their injuries were minor, the wounds were to vital areas. Startled, they both jumped aside, reaching for their wounds. Granny Jia and the others then attacked from the side. Granny Yi shouted, "The little slut is wounded! No need to take her alive, just kill her!"

When Chu Bawang arrived at the fighting area, he saw the two old women fighting the woman in black with their bare hands, while more than ten men and women, armed with weapons, formed a circle, seemingly to prevent the woman in black from escaping. A person lay dead on the ground, blood still gushing from his neck.

Mu Wanqing was already exhausted and gradually falling into a disadvantageous position, only able to turn the tide by occasionally launching hidden weapons from her sleeves. She managed to regain a slight advantage, but by then her hidden weapons were almost exhausted. Having just blocked an attack from the short, white-haired old woman, she was about to turn to deal with another old woman when she saw the old woman's hand already upon her. Startled, she resignedly closed her eyes. Just as she awaited her fate, she found herself enveloped in a warm embrace. Opening her beautiful eyes, she saw a tall, slender man with a gentle aura, radiating a comforting and safe aura. His hands were like unpolished jade, much larger than a woman's, yet their texture and color were no less exquisite than her own. The newcomer was none other than the Hegemon-

King of Chu . Zhong Ling was still behind, but Chu Bawang, fearing for Mu Wanqing's safety, abandoned Zhong Ling and used his Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique) to arrive first. Fortunately, he arrived; otherwise, Mu Wanqing would have disappeared from the Tianlong world. It seems his arrival has changed the Tianlong world. In the original book, Mu Wanqing wasn't forced to this point. But it doesn't matter; a beauty is still a beauty, and Mu Wanqing remains a stunning beauty. For Chu Bawang, that's enough!

Ignoring everyone's gaze, Chu Bawang gently addressed the still bewildered Mu Wanqing: "Do you know that without me, you would already be dead? How could you be so careless? You had a horse; you could have escaped on horseback. Why did you have to fight them to the death?"

Upon hearing Chu Bawang's words, Mu Wanqing's expression flickered with a strange light. She clearly didn't know this man, so why was he so worried about her? However, it was always good to be cared for, and a sweet feeling welled up inside her

. But she said aloud, "Let me go, you stinky man! No man is any good!" As soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted them slightly. This man was so concerned for her; she shouldn't have said that. But how could she let him hold her like that? So she struggled and twisted her body, trying to break free from Chu Bawang's embrace. But Chu Bawang didn't grant her wish. His grip not only didn't loosen, but tightened considerably. Mu Wanqing's body was indeed soft; he was reluctant to let go, so he planned to hold her a little longer. Her voice was clear and melodious, but her tone was icy and devoid of warmth, making one feel inexplicably uncomfortable. It seemed she was indifferent to everything in the world, yet also harbored immense hostility towards everyone, wishing she could wipe out the entire world. Chu Bawang knew that her personality was cultivated by Qin Hongmian. After being abandoned by Duan Zhengchun, Qin Hongmian became biased and believed that there was no good man in the world. Qin Hongmian had raised her with this belief since childhood, and over time, she naturally accepted this "truth." At this moment, Zhong Ling arrived and heard Mu Wanqing say this. She was puzzled: Brother Chu doesn't smell bad, and he's a very good person. No, no, Brother Chu is a very good person! Why does Sister Mu say that? She couldn't understand it no matter how she thought about it!

The old woman had a full head of white hair, a short body, and a hoarse voice, shouting: "Hey, boy! Don't meddle in other people's business, or you'll get yourself into trouble." The old woman was very fat, with a protruding belly, as if she were seven or eight months pregnant. Her hair was gray, her face was full of fat, and her voice was even deeper than that of an ordinary man. She had two broad-bladed short knives stuck in her waist.

The King of Chu said, "I haven't even blamed you for almost injuring my wife, yet you're already pursuing the matter? Not only that, you even dare to threaten me? What kind of person are you?" The King of Chu was indeed shameless, having already decided on Mu Wanqing so quickly. However, in this situation, Mu Wanqing didn't reveal anything, and for some reason, she shyly lowered her head.

Another old woman nearby shouted, "You brat, how ungrateful! Granny Rui is speaking to you personally, which is already showing you respect! Do you even know who this old woman is? You truly have eyes but don't recognize a great person!"

Her face was broad and short, covered in wrinkles, with drooping white eyebrows. Her small, narrow eyes flashed with a fierce, murderous light as she scrutinized Chu Bawang, trying to figure out who he was. She had been terrified when Chu Bawang rescued Mu Wanqing. Just when she thought she had Mu Wanqing dead, she discovered her target had vanished, only to find her rescued by Chu Bawang. She had no idea what had happened, and her companions looked on in complete bewilderment. Seeing their reactions, Chu Bawang secretly chuckled to himself: "How could you extras possibly see through my Lingbo Weibu (a martial arts technique)?"

However, upon hearing the old woman's self-righteousness, he couldn't help but chuckle inwardly: She spoke as if he were some great person, when in reality he was just one of Madam Wang's incompetent henchmen, old as they were, but with second-rate martial arts skills.

Chu Bawang said, "I saved my beloved wife, which is ungrateful, but if you kill my wife, you're a first-rate good person, right?"

Hearing Chu Bawang's twisted logic, Zhong Ling couldn't help but chuckle, while Mu Wanqing initially smiled slightly, but then, remembering how he repeatedly called her "beloved wife" and "madam," she felt a little shy. However, recalling her master's words, she put on a cold expression. But at this point, she no longer struggled, instead quietly watching how things unfolded. Mu Wanqing quieted down, and Chu Bawang slightly loosened his arms, gently embracing her slender waist, feeling its soft, boneless touch, unwilling to let go.

Hearing Chu Bawang's words, the old woman immediately knew this matter couldn't be left unresolved. Seeing Chu Bawang's confident demeanor, she couldn't help but mutter to herself, "His lightness skill just now was far beyond my reach. Not only that, even that self-important Murong Fu probably couldn't compare. In that case, my martial arts aren't much worse than Murong Fu's, and I certainly can't defeat him." She had been ordered to lead her men from Jiangnan to Dali to capture this woman in black, but unexpectedly, this person appeared, and even addressed her target as "Madam Black-Clad," making her feel truly guilty. But she couldn't defeat him, and her reasoning was flawed; for a moment, she was at a loss!

Chapter 24

Chu Bawang knew what they were afraid of, and immediately said, "You are from Mantuo Manor, aren't you? Go back and tell Madam Wang that I will go to Mantuo Manor and give her an explanation!"

Hehe, Madam Wang was his intended wife, and these people were her most capable subordinates. Chu Bawang didn't want to kill them, otherwise it would add a little resistance to his pursuit of Madam Wang. Chu Bawang didn't want to add any obstacles to his grand plan to woo Madam Wang, nor did he want to fight. Fighting was too tiring. It was better to solve things with words, after all, it was much more comfortable that way! As the saying goes, a gentleman uses words, not fists. It seems that I am a gentleman too!

The old woman was startled: this person could see through their identities with just a few words. He was obviously not a simple person. Moreover, judging from his tone, it seemed that he knew Madam Wang and they had a close relationship. Anyway, they couldn't beat him, so this was the only way for them to do so.

The two old women exchanged a glance, then the fat old woman said arrogantly, "You brat, don't think we're afraid of you. You dared to kill our lady! I think you're courting death. But for the sake of this young master, we'll let you go today. However, please tell us your name so we can have an explanation when we get back! Otherwise, we will never let this go."

"What a face-saving person! If she doesn't dare to fight, she doesn't dare to fight. She makes it sound so high and mighty, like she's so magnanimous," Zhong Ling muttered to herself. Then, her eyes fixed on Chu Bawang, sparkling with admiration. "Hmph! Master said that vile woman deserves to die, so she deserves to die. I didn't kill her this time, but I will kill her again in the future!"

Mu Wanqing said stubbornly. Mu Wanqing was indeed just as described in the original book—stubborn and beautiful! This was inseparable from the teachings of Qin Hongmian, the Asura Blade!

The Overlord of Chu said, "My name is Overlord of Chu, but please don't address my wife like that. Otherwise, even if A'Luo herself came, I wouldn't give her any face. If any ordinary person insulted my wife, she would only have one fate: death. I'm sparing your life now for A'Luo's sake, but if it happens again, the consequences will be severe, you understand." The

Overlord of Chu's domineering presence made the old woman dare not meet his gaze. She had originally intended to say a few harsh words, but she didn't even dare reply to Mu Wanqing's words. She hurriedly led her men away in a sorry state, lacking even the courage to fight the Overlord of Chu. This shows the inherent weakness of human nature: bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

"Don't leave! I'm going to kill them!"

Mu Wanqing suddenly exclaimed.

The Overlord of Chu said, "Don't be stubborn. Who do you think you are? If I hadn't arrived in time, you would have fallen forever, do you understand?"

Mu Wanqing retorted defiantly, "Who will fall is still uncertain."

Knowing her temperament, Chu Bawang didn't say much. After

the old woman left with her men, Mu Wanqing began to struggle in Chu Bawang's arms again, coldly saying, "You stinking man, you can let me go now!"

Feeling the beauty's presence in his arms, feeling the softness and smoothness of her body, how could he bear to let go? So Chu Bawang not only didn't release her but held her even tighter. He knew that Mu Wanqing had a strong aversion to men, her feelings towards them almost completely assimilated by Qin Hongmian. After being abandoned by Duan Zhengchun, Qin Hongmian generalized, believing all men in the world were heartless and without good qualities. She had raised Mu Wanqing this way since childhood, resulting in Mu Wanqing's stubborn and passionate personality, a trait many people admired. If Duan Yu hadn't been lucky, he wouldn't have won Mu Wanqing's heart. But now, Duan Yu was even less likely to win her heart; with him around, he wouldn't have a wife! Hehe!

Chu Bawang, recalling the near-death experience Mu Wanqing had just had, felt a lingering fear and angrily said, "It's not that I'm criticizing you, but you were too impulsive! Knowing you couldn't beat them, why didn't you hurry up and ride away on your Black Rose!"

Mu Wanqing was naturally touched by Chu Bawang's many words of concern, but she already believed that no man in the world was good, so she didn't appreciate it and said indifferently, "What I do is none of your business."

After a pause, she asked, "Eh, how did you know my horse is called Black Rose?"

Chu Bawang really didn't know how to answer, so he avoided the question and said, "Your affairs are my affairs. You are my wife, and as your husband, don't I even have the right to care about you?"

Chu Bawang really thought he was her husband!

Mu Wanqing roared angrily, "You lecherous rogue, let me go! Who's your wife?!"

Hearing the word "husband," Mu Wanqing remembered her earlier tacit acceptance of his self-proclaimed title, and looking at Chu Bawang's handsome face, tall stature, and resolute demeanor, her heart pounded involuntarily, and she felt a pang of shame. But seeing her cool yet alluring face flush slightly, she shouted again, "You're a scoundrel! You lecherous rogue! Let me go! You pervert! You scoundrel!"

Chu Bawang remained unfazed, saying, "Wan'er, how can you insult your husband like that? If you do, I'll spank you!"

Mu Wanqing struggled frantically, crying, "You filthy rogue! Let me go! I don't have a husband!"

Hearing the threat of a spanking, she was both frightened and ashamed. What a lecherous scoundrel! He was actually going to spank her there! How shameful! Thinking this, she struggled even harder.

Chu Bawang laughed, "Didn't you just tacitly agree?"

Mu Wanqing replied, "Who agreed?"

She recalled that when Chu Bawang addressed her as "Madam" or "Wife," she hadn't objected. However, it was a temporary measure, and she could only remain silent. She hadn't expected Chu Bawang to take it seriously and emphasize it repeatedly. If she had known he was such a shameless person, she would have preferred to fight those people to the death rather than be tricked by him.

Chu Bawang continued teasingly, "Anyway, you tacitly agreed then, and I've already considered you my wife, someone I'll never leave for life. But I still don't know what you look like. If you're horribly ugly, I can only lament my bad luck. Seeing you covering your face, afraid to show yourself, you must not be very good-looking, right? You must be very ugly, right? Don't be afraid, your husband won't abandon you. Even if you're ugly, your husband won't dislike you. After all, I am your husband!"

Hearing this despicable man say she was ugly, she was instantly furious and retorted, "Who are you calling ugly?" Her master had said she was incredibly beautiful, and she believed her master Qin Hongmian's words without question. She had always been proud of her beauty, so she never expected someone to say she was ugly! However, when she heard Chu Bawang say that he wouldn't dislike her even if she was ugly, a sweet feeling rose deep in her heart. He might be a good man! This thought suddenly occurred to her!

Chu Bawang said matter-of-factly, "If you weren't so ugly, why would you cover your face? So you're not only ugly, you're extremely ugly. You're afraid of scaring everyone, that's why you don't dare show your true face. Am I right? But don't worry, no matter how ugly you are, I won't dislike you, because in my heart you are already my wife."

Mu Wanqing was furious upon hearing Chu Bawang's words, but could only struggle in his arms, powerless to do anything! Although she had never shown her face to anyone, her master said she was beautiful, so she was the most beautiful person. As for her appearance, it could be said that only her master, Qin Hongmian, had seen it. Therefore, she had absolutely no idea what she looked like. As she said, she might be... She was an ugly woman, yet this man claimed he wouldn't mind her looks and would treat her as his wife. Therefore, she couldn't help but doubt her master's words. Although he was a man, he might be a good one! For the first time, Mu Wanqing doubted her master's words. Not all men in the world were bad! Besides, he had just saved her. Although he was a lecherous rogue, he wasn't entirely without integrity. His open and aboveboard assault was far better than those lewd men!

Little did Mu Wanqing know that Chu Bawang was already certain she was an unparalleled beauty. In his mind, besides the jade statue, she was the most beautiful person in Tianlong Babu. Moreover, in the new version of Tianlong Babu, Mu Wanqing was the number one beauty. Speaking of the jade statue, the most similar figures were undoubtedly Wang Yuyan and Li Qiushui, and the jade statue itself was Li... The vast ocean. Li Qiushui and Wu Xingyun, the Heavenly Child Granny of Tianshan, both loved Wu Yazi. Later, Li Qiushui took advantage of Wu Yazi's meditation and shouted loudly behind her, causing Wu Yazi to suffer a qi deviation and become a short, beautiful woman who would never grow tall. Only then could Li Qiushui fulfill her wish and fall in love with her senior brother Wu Yazi, living in seclusion in a stone cave in Wuliang Mountain to study the world's martial arts. However, Li Qiushui did not expect that although she had borne a daughter for Wu Yazi, he was always indifferent to her, neither warm nor cold. She thought that Wu Yazi had changed his mind and also thought that her senior sister Wu Xingyun was the cause of the trouble, so she hated Wu Xingyun. After Wu Yazi changed his mind, Li Qiushui found countless handsome men to provoke him. When Wu Yazi was unmoved, she took her anger out on her male lovers and killed them one by one. Later, she even seduced Wu Yazi's second disciple, Ding Chunqiu. The two of them joined forces to kill Wu Yazi in order to save their lives. Ya Zi fell off the cliff. Later, Li Qiushui grew tired of Ding Chunqiu and ran away to Xixia alone, becoming the queen of the Xixia emperor with her beauty and seductive arts. Only then did she realize that she and her senior sister Wu Xingyun were wrong; the person Wu Ya Zi had always loved was actually her eleven-year-old sister, Li Canghai!

This secret was only discovered by Wu Xingyun and Li Qiushui before their deaths. So, before dying, Wu Xingyun laughed loudly, "It's not her, it's not her!" And before dying, Li Qiushui smiled bitterly, "It is her, it is her!" As the saying goes, "The same laugh, but in the end, all is in vain." The two had been jealous and vying for each other's affections their entire lives, only to find themselves both losers in love. They were originally like sisters, but for Wu Ya Zi, they became enemies, ultimately ending up with nothing. This unexpected ending is extremely ironic.

Chapter 25: First Love

"Having seen the vast ocean, other waters are insignificant; having beheld the clouds of Wushan, other clouds are not worth seeing." "

The names Li Qiushui, Li Canghai, and Jing Wuxingyun all originate from this phrase. Judging from this poem, Wuyazi truly admired Li Canghai. In fact, Xiang Yu, the King of Chu, also greatly admired Mr. Jin Yong; the intention behind his choice of names was quite profound!"

Jin Yong never revealed Li Canghai's whereabouts, and she never appeared in the story. Our understanding of her comes from the conversations of Li Qiushui and Wu Xingyun, and from Wuya Zi's memories. Although we cannot find out Li Canghai's whereabouts from the book, one person provides a clue: the Sweeper Monk. First, the Sweeper Monk is about the same age as Li Canghai. Second, the Sweeper Monk immediately recognized that Kumārajīva was using the Lesser Formless Skill of the Free and Unfettered Sect. The Free and Unfettered Sect is so obscure that if he wasn't proficient in the Lesser Formless Skill, or at least familiar with it, how could he know its origin from a single move? Third, the Sweeping Monk was a master of medicine, possessing profound medical knowledge and the ability to see the essence behind phenomena, clearly superior to Su Xinghe. Su Xinghe was the teacher of the Eight Friends of Hangu Pass and was known as the Sage of Medicine in the martial arts world. Those with superior medical skills to Su Xinghe, aside from his elders, were all dead except for Li Canghai. Therefore, the Nameless Monk must be related to Li Canghai. Chu Bawang speculated that the Nameless Monk was Li Canghai in disguise. She may have known that Wu Yazi's true love was her, but he was already married to her sister and had children. For her sister Li Qiushui's happiness, she had no choice but to go to Shaolin Temple to spend the rest of her life. As for how she knew this, it's possible that Wu Yazi had confessed his feelings to her, but she didn't want to steal her sister Li Qiushui's man, so she let Li Qiushui have her way, but Wu Yazi neglected Li Qiushui because of this. The book states that after Li Qiushui had her own child, Wang Yuyan's mother, Lady Wang, Wu Yazi never looked at Li Qiushui again, instead focusing on the jade statue of Li Canghai he had carved day and night. This may have been the time when Li Canghai departed. Wu Yazi's marriage to Li Qiushui might have been a prelude to seeing Li Canghai. After Wu Yazi confessed his love to Li Canghai, she unexpectedly left without warning. Knowing that Li Canghai had left because of him, Wu Yazi could only entrust his love to her jade statue, leading to a series of tragedies. Li Canghai never imagined that her good intentions would lead to such a tragedy. At Shaolin Temple, she didn't expect her sister Li Qiushui to be happy because of her departure; instead, she fought fiercely with her senior sister Wu Xingyun. In the end, Wu Yazi, Li Qiushui, and Wu Xingyun all died, and Li Canghai, staying at Shaolin Temple, probably didn't even know it.

************************************************************************ Mu Wanqing's face flushed red with anger at Chu Bawang's matter-of-fact words. She couldn't help but retort, "I'm not ugly at all! My master says I'm the most beautiful!"

As she said this, her face turned even redder. Who would say they were beautiful, especially with such confidence! But to be honest, she was indeed very beautiful. Like a crescent moon, like snow-covered blossoms, she was exquisitely beautiful, vibrant, and charming—far more adorable than a jade statue. Her chin was pointed, her complexion fair and smooth, her cherry-like mouth delicate and well-proportioned, her lips thin and radiant. Even with only half her beauty, she was already a rare beauty in the world. Even if Chu Bawang hadn't known beforehand that she was a peerless beauty, he wouldn't have thought her ugly. Moreover, she exuded a fragrance, neither quite orchid nor quite musk, a subtle yet lingering scent that stirred Chu Bawang's heart. He longed to savor it, and thus, he didn't want to let Mu Wanqing go.

"I don't believe you. You don't look like a beauty at all. You look like a complete freak. Unless you remove your veil and show me,"

Chu Bawang finally revealed his wolfish ambition. He knew Mu Wanqing very well; he knew she had sworn a poisonous oath before her master, Qin Hongmian, that whoever saw her face would become her husband, and if she didn't like him, she would have to kill the man who saw her face, as her master had instructed. Therefore, the first person to see Mu Wanqing's face would either be killed by her or experience her utmost tenderness. King Chu knew that Mu Wanqing was actually an innocent, pure, and passionate woman, like unpolished gold, completely unaware of worldly affairs. She was outwardly strong but inwardly gentle, always using a cold exterior to conceal her simple and kind heart. She was intelligent, quick-witted, cheerful, and straightforward. All of this was largely due to her upbringing, but the most significant influence was Qin Hongmian's distorted education. However, now that she had met King Chu, Mu Wanqing's fate was about to change!

Hearing King Chu's words, Mu Wanqing's mind went blank. She was so angry she was confused. Without thinking,

she impulsively untied her veil, blurting out, "Ugly man, look closely! How am I an ugly monster?" After she dazedly removed her veil, a woman of unparalleled beauty immediately attracted King Chu's gaze. Although King Chu was prepared, knowing Mu Wanqing was a stunning beauty, he couldn't help but be amazed when he truly saw her beauty; she was so incredibly beautiful! Her chin was pointed, her complexion fair and smooth, just like her back, without a single freckle—pristine and flawless, her face radiating a soft, jade-like glow. Her cherry-like mouth was delicate and perfectly proportioned, her lips thin, revealing two rows of fine teeth like shattered jade; her face was exquisitely beautiful, like the halo of a crescent moon, like snow piled on a flowering tree.

Chu Bawang couldn't help but exclaim, "My wife is truly beautiful! I've struck gold this time; Heaven has been kind to me!" Having witnessed Mu Wanqing's true beauty, Chu Bawang knew she couldn't escape his grasp. He knew she wouldn't kill him now; otherwise, everything he had done would have been for nothing!

When Mu Wanqing removed her veil, she was stunned, dumbfounded! Completely bewildered! She was so enraged by him that in a moment of impulsiveness she had ripped off her veil. She had sworn a solemn oath that whoever saw her face first would be her husband. But he was a lecherous rogue. Was she supposed to marry him? He had been incredibly good to her, and had even saved her life. Her master said that a drop of kindness should be repaid with a spring of gratitude, let alone a life-saving grace. She absolutely could not kill him, especially since he hadn't done anything to her. So, she was going to marry him? Thinking this, a blush crept onto her cheeks, and she felt a sweet warmth flowing through her heart. Her face, slightly pale from the fight, became even more radiant, indescribably beautiful.

Mu Wanqing was tall and slender, with willow-leaf eyebrows, a straight and beautiful nose that seemed to flutter slightly. Below her delicate nose was a cherry-like mouth, full and red, like ripe cherries ready to be picked. Anyone who saw her would feel an urge to kiss her. Below her snow-white neck stood two firm, jade-like breasts, and below that were round, fragrant buttocks. Her whole body exuded a captivating fragrance. Chu Bawang had seen many beauties in the 21st century, but he had never been as shocked as he was today. Mu Wanqing truly deserved to be called a peerless beauty in Jin Yong's novels. As mentioned before, in fact, in the new version of Tian Long Ba Bu, Mu Wanqing was the number one beauty in Tian Long Ba Bu.

Looking at Mu Wanqing's shy expression and her delicate, luscious face, he couldn't help but tighten his arms around her slender waist. He felt her soft, boneless touch, and on a whim, he lowered his head and kissed her lips. She froze, stunned to find her lips violated. Her lips were incredibly sensitive; they hadn't been touched by a man in nineteen years. Now, with the invasion of the Northern and Southern Chu Overlord, her body trembled as if electrocuted. This man was indeed a lecherous rogue. She instinctively closed her mouth tightly, trying to prevent him from entering. But then she thought of him as her future husband. Would he blame her if she did this? Her cheeks flushed crimson, and she shyly parted her teeth. As the Chu Overlord's tongue broke through her soft, fragrant lips, a stream of sweet saliva immediately filled his mouth. Although Mu Wanqing had opened her lips to allow the Chu Overlord to enter in a daze, she was now both nervous and shy. Her smooth tongue timidly dodged the Chu Overlord's nimble tongue's search. Her head began to sway, her thick, black hair cascading down, tickling the Chu Overlord's cheeks. The Chu Overlord couldn't resist holding her head and kissing her deeply.

Just then, King Bawang of Chu suddenly heard a soft sobbing sound. Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw Zhong Ling gazing at him with a sorrowful expression, her eyes filled with reluctance and a sense of sacrifice. Her pitiful look melted King Bawang's heart, and he was deeply moved. She had already felt a pang of jealousy when she heard her elder brother, King Bawang, call Mu Wanqing his wife, even though she had done so to save Mu Wanqing. Now that Mu Wanqing was safe, King Bawang actually wanted to take her as his wife. Seeing Mu Wanqing's beauty, she knew she was far inferior and felt incredibly inferior. And then she heard King Bawang say, "My wife is truly beautiful!"

Her heart began to ache, but then she saw her beloved Brother Chu having sex with her, and her heart ached even more. She didn't know why she felt this way, but the thought of Brother Chu and Mu Wanqing having sex made her incredibly sad. Why was Brother Chu having sex with Mu Wanqing? Did Brother Chu not want Ling'er anymore? She had always thought Brother Chu didn't want her anymore. Just now, Brother Chu had agreed to marry Mu Wanqing, and he still wouldn't mind her appearance. And now he was having sex with her. Was Ling'er going to leave Brother Chu? Ling'er's heart ached so much. Ling'er didn't want to leave Brother Chu. Ling'er had also had sex with Brother Chu! Was it because Ling'er hadn't done something right? Why was Brother Chu having sex with someone else instead of Ling'er? Thinking of this, she couldn't help but cry. She was just beginning to experience love and didn't know what this feeling was like; she only knew that her heart suddenly ached so much, and she didn't want Brother Chu to leave her. But if Brother Chu wanted to marry Mu Wanqing, she wouldn't stop him, because she didn't want him to be unhappy or blame her.

Chapter 26:

Seeing Zhong Ling's eyes, Chu Bawang immediately understood what was going on. Her eyes held sadness, reluctance, acceptance, and fear. She looked pitiful, evoking pity. This little girl was a bit dazed; seeing him so intimate with Mu Wanqing, he wondered what terrible things she was thinking. Chu Bawang released the breathless Mu Wanqing from the kiss, went over, and took her hand, asking, "Ling'er, what's wrong?"

Chu Bawang never imagined Zhong Ling's thoughts were so bizarre—she actually thought kissing meant "having a baby"! Zhong Ling truly deserves to be called the most mischievous and innocent character in Jin Yong's works. If pregnancy were as simple as she thought, then there would be at least hundreds of billions of people in the 21st century, perhaps far more. After all, how many people in the world kiss? How frequently? So, it seems a woman's entire life is spent giving birth. If one woman can have dozens of children, how many women are there in the world? And how many humans have been reproduced over such a long period? But this is good, because she can enjoy paid maternity leave for an extended period!

Mu Wanqing then remembered that there was a beautiful little girl next to Chu Bawang. Looking over, she saw that the little girl was Zhong Ling, the daughter of her martial uncle Gan Baobao. She felt incredibly shy, lying in her future husband's arms and kissing him under the gaze of others. She felt it was a shameful thing, especially in front of familiar people. Thinking of this, she lowered her head shyly, even though no one was around.

Hearing Chu Bawang's caring words as before, Ling'er knew that her brother Chu hadn't abandoned her and was still treating her well. Overjoyed and heartbroken, she burst into tears and lay in Chu Bawang's arms, crying, "Brother Chu, please don't leave Ling'er!" Ling'er loves being with Brother Chu. She loves listening to him tell the story of Snow White, and she loves eating his roasted pheasant... Ling'er can't bear to leave Brother Chu!

"

Don't cry, Ling'er," Chu Bawang said softly. "Brother Chu promises you, I'll never leave you, okay?"

Ling'er's sobs gradually subsided, like the changing weather. Her shoulders were still heaving, her eyes were red, but her lovely face showed a happy expression as she asked wistfully, "Will Brother Chu really stay with Ling'er forever?"

Chu Bawang gently tapped Ling'er's cute nose with his index finger and smiled, "Ling'er is so adorable, she's like Brother Chu's source of joy. Brother Chu doesn't want to leave Ling'er either!"

Now, Ling'er truly experienced the bittersweetness of love. Hearing Chu Bawang's affirmation, she nestled happily in his arms.

Zhong Ling's problem was solved, but Mu Wanqing's new problem arose. Seeing the man who had just been affectionately calling her "wife" now standing right in front of her, whispering sweet nothings, how could she bear it? For a moment, she heard the sound of her own heart breaking. There is no greater sorrow than a broken heart. She finally understood what her master meant when he said that no man in the world was good; she now deeply agreed. Men were indeed no good.

She looked at Chu Bawang in despair, her eyes revealing sadness, regret, grief, and despair. She hadn't expected that the husband she had just decided to marry would be such a philanderer and a liar. He clearly already had someone he loved; why did he treat her like that? Did he think she was such a shameless woman? She remembered the oath her master had made her swear before she left the mountain: if anyone saw her face, she must either kill him or marry him. If that person refused to marry her, or abandoned her after marriage, then she would personally kill that heartless and unfaithful man. Her master had once said: if she disobeyed this order, he would immediately commit suicide upon learning of it. Her master was a man of his word, and she was at a loss for what to do. She had removed the veil herself; Xiang Yu hadn't forced her. She had brought this suffering upon herself. And since he already had someone he loved, why did he still violate her? She couldn't understand this at all, and only felt that he was a heartless man. Now, she felt that only her master had ever treated her well; everyone else was no good.

Heartbroken, she cried out, "Why did you do this to me?"

Chu Bawang was momentarily speechless. He knew Mu Wanqing's personality; this was the kind of thing she found hardest to accept. He remembered in the original book, when she first accompanied Duan Yu home and saw his wealthy family, she thought to herself, "I thought he was just a down-on-his-luck scholar from the martial world, so I could marry him without hesitation. Look at this kid's impressive entourage! If he were some kind of royal relative or high-ranking official, he might look down on a country girl like me. My master said that the richer a man is, the less righteous he is; one should be mindful of social standing when choosing a wife. Hmph, if he marries me properly, fine. But if he's fickle and makes excuses, I'll definitely slash him a few times! I don't care how powerful he is!"

Mu Wanqing's personality was strong-willed. This was absolutely Qin Hongmian's doing. Her relationship with Duan Zhengchun began with a lot of tension. It started with fighting and eventually blossomed into love. In the end, she was captivated by Duan Zhengchun's words, "To die under the Asura's blade is to die a romantic death," and fell under his spell, giving birth to their daughter, Mu Wanqing. She was deeply in love with Duan Zhengchun, but because he couldn't be with her, she angrily took her daughter and went into seclusion in a secluded valley, calling herself the Valley Hermit. From then on, resentment and hatred filled her heart. She addressed her daughter as master and disciple, never revealing her true identity, raising her to adulthood. To prevent her daughter from being deceived by unfaithful men, she threatened with her own life, forcing Mu Wanqing to make a solemn vow: the first man to see her face, if he didn't kill her, must marry her. Of all Duan Zhengchun's women, Qin Hongmian was the most straightforward. Duan Zhengchun seduced her and then abandoned her, leading her to hate all men in the world. She also taught her daughter to hate all men, even instructing her to conceal her stunning beauty with a veil for years. Any man who saw her face should either marry her or be killed by her to avoid repeating her own fate. At the same time, she trained her daughter in martial arts, hoping she could one day kill her rival. However, Qin Hongmian wasn't truly ruthless; when it came to actually doing it, she softened and gave up, ultimately rekindling her old feelings for Duan Zhengchun. Eighteen years of gritting her teeth and preparing for love turned into a farce.

Betting one's entire life on such unwavering love is rare and precious, yet often also terrifying.

Qin Hongmian is an example; her profound love for Duan Zhengchun not only ruined her but also nearly destroyed her daughter.

Mu Wanqing is bold and passionate, forthright and straightforward, completely unaware of social niceties. She is outwardly tough but inwardly soft, always appearing as an icy beauty, unapproachable to strangers, but in reality, she is pure and kind-hearted. Once that "veil" is torn away, the iceberg melts. She is rather stubborn; once she makes up her mind, she won't change it. Just now, Chu Bawang inadvertently made her lift her veil, causing her to gradually develop feelings for him. His impulsive kiss further solidified her love, making her determined to marry him. Now that the veil was lifted, marriage was the only option. But unexpectedly, just as her heart was opening to Chu Bawang, she discovered he had deceived her, leaving her heartbroken and devastated. There is no greater sorrow than a broken heart! She was in agony, torn between two conflicting emotions. If she didn't kill Chu Bawang, her master, who had raised her for nineteen years, would commit suicide, something she didn't want to see. But killing him also stirred a pang of reluctance within her, a sentiment shared by both her and her mother, Qin Hongmian. For years, they had wanted to kill Duan Zhengchun and his lover to vent their hatred, yet their hearts softened when they met, and they ultimately couldn't bring themselves to do it. Mu Wanqing was deeply conflicted. Although Chu Bawang had deceived her feelings, she ultimately didn't want to kill him, yet she couldn't break the vow she had made.

Seeing Chu Bawang approach her, she hardened her heart, suppressed her grief, and thrust her hands forward to strike him. In the end, she decided to consider her master Qin Hongmian's life. After all, Chu Bawang was someone she had just met; it wasn't worth sacrificing her master's life for him! After weighing the pros and cons, she finally made her decision! He was, after all, a heartless man. Her master was right; it wasn't worth it for her master to die for a heartless man. But she felt a deep, excruciating pain in her heart. However, she still resolutely delivered the palm strike.

Chu Bawang sensed the threat of Mu Wanqing's palm strike and subconsciously circulated his inner energy to protect his body. However, Chu Bawang was afraid that his true energy would injure her, so he dispersed his inner energy to dodge the vital point. He was then struck on the shoulder by her palm strike. Mu Wanqing's palm strike was intended to kill, and she knew that Chu Bawang's martial arts were unfathomable, so she used all her strength to strike. The Chu Overlord, struck by the palm, was immediately sent flying three zhang (approximately 10 meters) backward, crashing to the ground. He felt his blood and qi boiling, a surge of heat rising to his chest, which he couldn't suppress, and he

spat out a mouthful of blood. Zhong Ling, seeing this, was stunned and quickly helped him up, asking worriedly, "Brother Chu, how are you?" At this moment, the Chu Overlord spat out another mouthful of blood. Zhong Ling held back her tears, and the Chu Overlord quickly comforted her, "Ling'er, don't cry, I'm alright!"

He then coughed a few times, managing to calm his surging blood and qi. His golden core continuously emitted internal energy, slowly healing his injuries. Fortunately, the Chu Overlord possessed Xiang Yu's golden core; otherwise, being struck by Mu Wanqing's palm would have left him half-dead, if not dead.

Mu Wanqing, who had landed the blow, was also stunned. She hadn't expected the Chu Overlord to not retaliate and allow her to strike with all his might. Although she didn't know the extent of his injuries... But she knew that an ordinary person would definitely die from her palm strike. She never expected that Chu Bawang would rather risk his life than accept this blow. She was very confused and asked painfully, "Why didn't you fight back? You could have fought back! Don't you know you'll die if you do this!"

She shouted loudly, as if she had used all her strength to shout.

Chu Bawang smiled bitterly, "I was afraid I would hurt you!"

Boom! Mu Wanqing's mind went blank. Chu Bawang's reckless actions were because he was afraid of hurting her. Was she wrong? Although she didn't regret it, she still felt a heart-wrenching pain. She cried out weakly, "I hate you so much!"

After saying that, she turned around, mounted her beloved horse Black Rose, and rode away in tears. Chu Bawang could see her tears falling to the ground in the wind. The broken teardrops were like her heart wound, which could not be healed.
