Seeing the embarrassed look on Lu Qiwen's face, Liu's father couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Seemingly hearing her father's laughter, Liu Suyan peeked out from the kitchen and looked towards the living room. She saw Lu Qiwen sitting there with an embarrassed expression, while her father was laughing heartily.
In the kitchen, Liu's mother had a big smile on her face, holding a jade bottle in her hand, which contained more than a dozen beauty pills.
Seeing the satisfied look on her mother's face as she looked at Lu Qiwen, Liu Suyan wondered whether her mother was satisfied with Lu Qiwen himself or with the pills he had given her, and a look of frustration appeared on her face.

Upon hearing this, Liu's mother chuckled and slapped Liu Suyan's pert bottom, saying, "You brat, what are you saying? Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
As she spoke, Liu's mother carefully put the jade bottle into her pocket. Her cautious manner made Liu Suyan and Shui Qingrou chuckle.
The five people sat around the table in the living room, on which were placed fragrant dishes. When Ye Daoxin was introducing her family, Lu Qiwen was stunned when he heard that Shui Qingrou was Liu Suyan's sister-in-law.
Although she was only stunned for a moment, Lu Qiwen's reaction did not escape Liu Suyan's eyes. Although she knew that her sister-in-law was no less than herself, Lu Qiwen was actually stunned by her sister-in-law. Liu Suyan couldn't help but feel a little jealous and reached out her small hand to pinch Lu Qiwen hard under the table.

After dinner, Liu Suyan saw that her parents were looking at Lu Qiwen with satisfaction, and her heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled down.
Sipping tea, Mr. Liu, the head of the family, sat to the side, while Mrs. Liu, who held the power of speech, looked at Liu Suyan and Lu Qiwen sitting together with a smile.

Liu's mother nodded and said, "That's good. Qiwen is too honest. I'm afraid you'll bully him." Liu Suyan felt like she was going to vomit blood. She never expected that in her mother's eyes, Lu Qiwen would be the most honest person imaginable.
Seeing Lu Qiwen lower his head slightly, putting on an honest and simple appearance, but the smile at the corner of his mouth could not be hidden from Liu Suyan's eyes.
Fearing that her mother might say something unbearable, Liu Suyan grabbed Lu Qiwen and ran towards her room.
Liu's mother called out to their retreating figures, "Qiwen, if Yan Yan bullies you, tell your aunt, and your aunt will stand up for you."
Liu Suyan stumbled and almost fell, while Lu Qiwen, looking like he had finally found his people, nodded heavily and said, "Don't worry, Auntie, I've got it."

Lu Qiwen laughed heartily, and only stopped after a while. The two of them lay flat on the bed.
Liu Suyan rolled her eyes at Lu Qiwen and said, "Have you laughed enough?"
Lu Qiwen chuckled, "I didn't expect Auntie to be so easy to talk to. If I had known, I should have come much earlier."
Liu Suyan said, "Don't be so smug. Tell me honestly why you were looking at my sister-in-law like that just now."
Lu Qiwen was stunned for a moment, then gave a wry smile and said, "My God, you're not even jealous of your sister-in-law, are you?"
Liu Suyan blushed slightly, turned over, and pressed her shapely body against Lu Qiwen, saying, "I'm just jealous, what can you do about it?"
