How to be a qualified, high-quality single man?
Honestly, we've been in this circle for many years and have met quite a few single men, not to mention countless who have tried to add us. But the number of single men who actually hook up is actually quite small. I really want to write some guidance for single men; it can improve your success rate and save us time.
First and foremost, single men need to realize that communicating with married couples is like a job interview.
I often joke with my wife that meeting a single man is like a human resources recruitment process; a single man's first greeting to a married couple is like submitting a resume; the first meeting is like an interview; the first activity is like a probationary period; and a long-term partnership is like becoming a permanent employee. I've discussed this idea with several single men we've "hired and made permanent," and they all say it's very realistic.
In this circle, there are fewer couples and more single men, so single men have fewer choices while couples have more. Most couples receive hundreds of invitations from single men, but one spouse can't possibly communicate seriously with every single man. It's fair to say that the vast majority of single men only have one chance to greet a particular couple (like us). Basically, if we don't think a single man is suitable after the first greeting, we very rarely give him a second chance.
So, how do you start that first greeting? Think about how you submit your resume when you're looking for a job. First, you need to carefully read the "recruiting company's" "job requirements," which means please look at the requirements in my previous posts. I've said before that we prioritize appearance. Looks don't need to be exceptional, but they should at least be passable. If you think your appearance is unacceptable, or if you send photos with your face blurred, wearing a mask, or making strange expressions, you've essentially given up on the opportunity the moment you send the photo. Since we need you to treat this like an interview, please send a few photos that you think are suitable for the interview. Ideally, they should be front-facing with natural expressions, not photos from adult content sites; we'll skip those. The more photos, the better, showing your sincerity.
If you value your privacy and are unwilling to send photos showing your face, you can skip this step. We don't consider single men without photos. Frankly, just like HR reviews resumes, HR personnel review dozens, even hundreds, of resumes daily. They don't have time to thoroughly communicate with every candidate behind each resume. Often, a resume is rejected simply because the format doesn't look right. If you can't immediately highlight your strengths to HR, then being rejected is natural.
Secondly, how to introduce yourself. As I mentioned before, we've talked to far too many single men, so we're tired of every single man asking the same set of questions. Therefore, to pique our interest, a single man must clearly introduce himself. Those who only use short phrases like "Hello" or "Want to hook up?" can be skipped. We hope that introductions from single men will include at least: age, height, weight, place of origin, occupation, field of work, marital status, experience, and special skills. This should at least give us the desire to continue learning and create opportunities for further interaction.
Third, single men we've talked to and feel a desire for further communication will naturally be considered for an interview. Interviews usually take place over coffee or tea, and may also involve a meal. In this regard, single men are requested to be considerate and gentlemanly. Because I'm quite busy with work, interviews usually only have one round, with my wife conducting the interview; I'm usually just assisting and often not available. In this case, single men should be gentlemanly, first asking what the lady would like to drink or eat, and offering to pay the bill. Frankly, how can a single man who lacks even the emotional intelligence to offer to buy coffee possibly win the favor of a married couple?
