I glanced at myself instinctively and immediately felt incredibly embarrassed. I quickly said, "Excuse me, let me change my clothes first. Our bathroom is over there!"
After I finished speaking, I quickly slipped into my bedroom, grabbed a set of my pajamas, put them on, and then threw on a coat before coming out of the bedroom.
When I came out, I was a little surprised to see the security guard still standing there, and asked him with some confusion, "What's wrong?"
When the security guard saw me, he gave an embarrassed smile and said, "Hello, I don't dare to wander around if you're not here. Could you take me there and I'll go check it out for you?"
I smiled inwardly, thinking to myself, "What a professional security guard! He looks very handsome, but he seems a bit silly at heart." I smiled and said, "Come on, come with me!"
After I finished speaking, I walked towards the bathroom, and the security guard followed me with his tools. When I reached the bathroom door, I turned back to him and said, "Oh, take a look!"
The security guard followed over, then gave a slightly embarrassed smile and said, "Hello, it seems like your water pipe has burst. Let me check it for you, but I don't know if I can fix it!"
Hearing the security guard's words, I was immediately puzzled and asked, "Can't even your professionals fix it?"
Seeing my somewhat angry expression, the young security guard immediately said nervously, "No, no, I already told you on the phone that the maintenance workers have already gone home. I'm just a security guard!"
Seeing how nervous the security guard was, and considering what he said, I could tell he was a very kind young man. So, the expression on my face immediately relaxed a lot. I looked at him and said, "Can you fix it for me?"
The security guard smiled faintly and said, "Hello, don't worry, I should have no problem with this. I'll go fix it for you right now!"
After finishing speaking, the security guard put down his bag, then tiptoed over there. He looked around for a moment and said, "I'll go turn off the water valve first!"
"Water valve?"
I was a little confused when I heard that.
He looked at me and said, "Do you know where he is?"
I shook my head, because I really wasn't sure where it was, but I roughly knew what he meant by the water valve. So I took it to the small balcony outside the kitchen, and the security guard looked at it and said, "Hmm, this is it!"
The security guard turned off the water valve and came to the bathroom. After checking the leaking pipe, he looked at me and said, "Hello, it turns out the connector was cracked. I'll replace it with a new one for you!"
After saying that, the security guard quickly took out a hose fitting from his toolbox and started working on it. I stood behind him, watching him change the fitting with curiosity.
