"It'll be ready soon."
Qin Qing responded, quickly put on her pants, and went out clutching her stomach.
Seeing her pale face, Gu Shaoming asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, my stomach just hurts a little," Qin Qing said weakly.
Gu Shaoming watched her movements and asked, "Is it...that thing?"
"Mm." Qin Qing nodded.
Gu Shaoming watched as she weakly returned to bed, then lay there for a moment. He thought for a moment and went out to have someone make her some brown sugar ginger water.
When Qin Qing saw Gu Shaoming bringing things up, it would be a lie to say she wasn't moved.
Qin Qing was not in good spirits the next day. Fortunately, it was Saturday and Gu Shaoming wanted her to rest at home. After resting at home for a whole day, she recovered a lot of energy. Sun Yue invited her to go shopping the next day, and she readily agreed.

Qin Qing was bored at home, so she took the cross-stitch pillow she bought online and curled up on the sofa in Gu Shaoming's study to embroider. It was a pretty couple's pillow. When Qin Qing saw the long grass and dumpling on it, her girlish heart couldn't help but flutter.
Hearing Gu Shaoming's words, she looked up.
"What's there to be afraid of? It happens every month, after all. Women always have to endure more."
Gu Shaoming was amused by her tone.
"Why don't you come shopping with me?"
Qin Qing asked casually. Gu Shaoming was so busy, how could he have time to go shopping with her? Sure enough, his next words were, "No time, I have to talk to a newly established business partner tomorrow."
"Oh." Qin Qing wasn't too disappointed and lowered her head to continue embroidering her own things.
She started embroidering the body, then the legs, and finally the head.

Gu Shaoming arranged to meet his business partner at the coffee shop in one of Gu's large shopping malls.

"My dad was supposed to come and talk to you, but something came up, so he asked me to come instead. It's also a good opportunity for him to get some experience."

"Mr. Meng and I have almost finalized the cooperation details. We still need you to conduct an on-site inspection so that we can reach an agreement on profit sharing. The new shopping mall is about the same size as this one. I'll take you on a tour in a bit."
