[Wuxia] Long Hui's Male Concubine (Complete) - 11

After reading the brocade

pouch, the two women took a deep breath. Seeing that night was falling, Chu Wanbing took her leave. Cui Die escorted her to the door, when suddenly she saw Xiao Xiao dressed as a ghost, floating back and forth in the corridor.

Cui Die's face darkened, and Chu Wanbing inwardly cried out in alarm. Han Zhi's death was inextricably linked to Xiao Xiao, and the Han family's decline was also caused by Xiao Xiao's public defeat of Han Zhi. Cui Die's allowance of Xiao Xiao to stay on the ship was already the greatest tolerance; now this little girl was causing trouble again, wasn't she just provoking Cui Die's anger? Chu Wanbing hurriedly said, "Sister Die, you're so magnanimous, don't stoop to that silly girl's level."

Cui Die understood her unspoken meaning and thought to herself, "Bing'er is also caught in a dilemma regarding the Han family matter. If I push too hard, it will be difficult for everyone to save face. Besides, I've already crippled Zhao Hui and overthrown the Zhao family, which is enough to give the Han family an explanation... Sigh, that girl isn't thinking straight, and I don't need to argue with a crazy girl."

Thinking of this, Cui Die smiled and said, "Bing'er, you should handle your sister yourself. I'm going to sleep."

Chu Wanbing couldn't help but feel grateful for Cui Die's magnanimity, thinking to herself, "Sister Die is broad-minded and has a unique perspective. On the contrary, I sometimes throw tantrums and seem too petty."

Thinking of this, she gazed at the brocade pouch for a moment, sighed, lowered her charming eyes, and made up her mind... Inside the general's residence at Iron Wall Pass, Long Hui unfolded the map and looked around at the target to be captured.

The five major counties are arranged in a cross shape, with Tianshui, Zhongtong, Maxia, and Fengling on the outside and Jiuye in the middle. Each of the five counties is connected by a major road, and each road is guarded by a stronghold and communicates with each other through beacon towers. In addition, the terrain is very high, which creates an advantageous position that is easy to defend and difficult to attack.

Long Hui muttered to himself, "The location of these five prefectures is strategically intended to contain Iron Wall Pass. Each passage is guarded by soldiers, and every checkpoint is in a tactical blind spot, making it difficult to launch a direct assault or a surprise attack. Ugh... a headache!"

Just then, Lin Birou brought over a bowl of hot soup and said softly, "Lord Long, rest a bit and have some soup!"

Long Hui smiled, put down his work, took the bowl, and drank it. He found the taste delicious and praised, "Birou, your cooking is getting better and better!"

Lin Birou's pretty face flushed slightly, and she said, "This is a medicinal diet recipe that Her Majesty secretly gave me before she went into seclusion. She said it can refresh the mind and help Birou calm down." "I'll cook it for you to drink later."

Long Hui felt a warmth in his heart, thinking to himself, "Sister Luo still cares about me."

Lin Birou took out a letter with her body fragrance from her bosom and said, "Also, Her Majesty asked Birou to pass this letter on to the Dragon Lord."

Opening the envelope, a fragrance different from Lin Birou's wafted out, sweet and warm. Only this pair of phoenixes in the whole world had such a sweet body scent. Long Hui unfolded the letter with a puzzled look and saw that it read: "Thank you for clearing my name. On the day I leave the pass, I will present you with a grand gift."

The signature was two faint lip prints, which made people think of all sorts of things, as if they could still see the peerless beauty of this pair of phoenix enchantresses on the paper.

Another grand gift. Long Hui's mind was in a mess. These enchantresses and demonesses were really elusive, yet they were also irresistible.

Lin Birou asked timidly, "Dragon... Dragon Lord, there's something I'm not sure if I should ask?"

Long Hui already knew what she wanted to say and calmly replied, "Go ahead and ask, I'm listening."

Lin Birou stammered, "Dragon Lord, you, you and the Empress, are you...?"

Seeing that she couldn't finish her sentence, Long Hui spoke for her, "Are you having an affair, aren't you?"

The word "affair" was far too shocking to be associated with these two, and even the alluring Lin Birou blushed with embarrassment.

Long Hui answered himself, "That's right, Your Highness and I—or rather, Sister Luo—are indeed in love. It's nothing shameful, and we're not afraid of people finding out!"

Lin Birou asked, "Does Bing'er know about this?"

Long Hui smiled faintly, "That girl is intelligent enough to have already figured it out. I'll explain it to her personally when the time is right."

"Alright, enough of that!"

Long Hui put down the soup bowl, pulled Lin Birou into his arms, and let her plump, jade-like buttocks sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her slender waist and said, "Good Birou, what are your thoughts on these five prefectures?"

Lin Birou squinted, enjoying her lover's tenderness, and pondered before answering, "Your Highness, I don't understand matters of military campaigns, but didn't the Prince of Qi give you a jade pendant before his death? Perhaps it will be of some help!"

Long Hui slapped his forehead and laughed, "How could I forget that?"

He then took out the jade pendant from his robes, skillfully crushed it, and took out a crumpled piece of paper and a piece of glass crystal.

Long Hui carefully unfolded the crumpled paper, revealing a scroll about the thickness of a palm. The paper was made of a material thinner than a cicada's wing, transparent and crystalline yet resilient.

Long Hui flipped through it; there were hundreds of pages, each filled with tiny, rice-grain-sized characters.

Lin Birou frowned and said, "How can an ordinary person see such small characters and diagrams?"

"The secret must lie in the crystal!"

Long Hui picked up the glass crystal, held it to his eyes, and looked at the book again, seeing everything clearly.

He casually flipped through a couple of pages and discovered that it not only depicted mountains and rivers but also cultural landscapes, even some remote paths were clearly marked—truly a rare military map in the world.

Long Hui immediately flipped through the map and text about the five prefectures, including Jiuye. These five prefectures were drawn on a thin sheet of paper, and the first sentence at the beginning read: "Tianshui, Zhongtong, Maxia, Fengling, and Jiuye are located on high ground, shaped like a cross, with Jiuye in the center and the other four prefectures on the outside. They guard the Iron Wall Pass to the west and block Liaodong to the east, making them strategically important."

Long Hui continued reading. These five prefectures not only occupied advantageous terrain but also held a politically advantageous position. They could ally with the Northern Frontier to suppress Liaodong, or join forces with Liaodong to resist the Iron Wall Pass. Moreover, they were connected to Hedong, forming a three-way defensive posture. No matter which side, Liaodong or the Northern Frontier, rebelled, the five prefectures could control their throats. Even if the Northeast joined forces, they could receive timely support from Hedong. They were important pieces for the court to prevent these regional officials from rebelling.

Long Hui pondered, "The imperial court must have painstakingly cultivated such an important pawn. Taking it in a short time won't be easy. I must devise a sound and effective military strategy."

Continuing to scrutinize the maps, Long Hui's eyes lit up, and he laughed, "Excellent! I didn't expect there to be such a secret passage among the five prefectures!"

The so-called secret passage was actually a treacherous path called the Desolate Abyss Valley. It was sparsely populated, with a precipitous terrain, allowing only two people to pass at a time. Moreover, just three miles away was the outer military outpost of Zhongtong. A slight misstep would result in Zhongtong's garrison blocking the valley entrance and trapping them.

Long Hui immediately summoned Xu Hu and said, "Xu Hu, muster the troops and attack the five prefectures."

Xu Hu received the order and gathered the generals of each battalion at the drill ground.

Long Hui stepped onto the platform, and the ten thousand soldiers fell silent, a chilling atmosphere pervading the air.

"Linghu Da, Ma Yi, Liu Chang, Wu Feng, step forward!"

Two or four generals strode forward, their imposing appearances and robust physiques embodying the indomitable spirit of border guards. Linghu Da and Ma Yi were respectively subordinates of the Azure Dragon and Qilin armies, Liu Chang was a former subordinate of the King of Qi, and Wu Feng, though unassuming, was a man of considerable talent. Most importantly, he was promoted by Tie Rushan, and since Tie Rushan's retirement, he had remained neutral.

Long Hui said, "The four of you will each lead five thousand troops into battle. Linghu Da will be in charge of Tianshui, Ma Yi of Zhongtong, Liu Chang of Maxia, and Wu Feng of Fengling!"

After the four generals received the order, Long Hui selected eight more generals, instructing them to each lead three thousand troops to provide support from the rear, ensuring a show of force to attack the four prefectures.

This round of battle involves nearly 50,000 troops. At its peak, 50,000 would have been a drop in the ocean for Tiebi Pass, but due to Huangfu Wuji's consolidation of military power, the current strength of Tiebi Pass is only around 100,000. A major battle involving 50,000 is a significant undertaking. If the five prefectures cannot be captured, Long Hui's prestige will be greatly diminished, and the hard-won morale of the troops will crumble.

This battle must not only be won, but won decisively. Long Hui has given himself a strict order: capture the five prefectures within half a day. This isn't about being overly ambitious, but about racing against time with Cang Shitian to quickly and effectively establish connections between the three regions. Only in this way can an effective rebellion force be established before Cang Shitian has time to react.

The battles of Jinling, Yanzhou, and the five prefectures all emphasize speed—speed so fast that Cang Shitian has no time to react, capturing key locations as quickly as possible. Only in this way can he secure a sliver of hope for victory with his meager forces.

If Cang Shitian were to realize this, he would mobilize the entire nation's resources to completely suppress Long Hui's strategic intentions. In that case, Long Hui would no longer be facing the forces of a single city or region, but the colossal behemoth that is Da Heng. At that point, the only option would be to retreat to the desolate sea.

After assigning the tasks, Long Hui privately summoned Xu Hu and Sun De, saying, "Gentlemen, I have an important task to entrust to you!"

He then unfolded the map left behind by the King of Qi and pointed to the Desolate Valley, saying, "The roads in this valley are secluded, and there are few people around. I want you two to lead an elite force from here straight to Jiuye County! However, because the terrain is narrow, and there is an outer garrison three miles away, I can only take a large number of men. I can only allocate five hundred men to you!"

Xu Hu said, "General, please rest assured. The Azure Dragon and Qilin armies are both elite and fierce generals. Five hundred men can be used as many as fifty thousand men. I will definitely live up to your expectations and take Jiuye!"

Long Hui shook his head and said, "Jiuye is the central hub of the five counties. The city is well-fortified. Five hundred men are not enough to take the city. So I only want you to launch a feint attack!"

Sun De was older and more composed than Xu Hu. He asked, "General, are you trying to create an opportunity for the outer army?"

Long Hui nodded.

Sun De frowned and said, "But there are beacon towers between the cities to communicate with each other. We can know the true situation of the army by the number of beacon fires and the way they burn. The four outer prefectures don't need to pay any attention to our small force. They only need to deal with the main army on the outside, and then order the various passes to carefully defend. They can trap and kill our five hundred men inside." Long Hui laughed and said, "Who said you are a small force? You should treat yourselves as an army of fifty thousand."

Xu and Sun were immediately taken aback.

Long Hui continued, "After passing through the canyon, you will immediately attack Jiuye, then immediately divide your forces into ten routes. Each route will have its horses' tails tied with tree branches, dragging them along the ground as they run, creating the illusion of tens of thousands of troops!"

Xu Hu slapped his thigh and exclaimed, "General, you want the enemy to think that a force of tens of thousands of elite troops is besieging Jiuye, drawing the other four prefectures back to rescue it, thus creating an opportunity for the four outer armies!"

Long Hui said, "Not only are you creating an opportunity for the main force, but you are also disrupting the morale of the five prefectures. Imagine an army of tens of thousands of troops sneaking into the center without anyone noticing. The prefects of these five prefectures will be worried about the safety of Jiuye and also about the army turning around to attack them. How can they not panic?"

Xu Hu nodded and said, "General, what a brilliant plan! I will definitely scare these bastards to death for you!"

Long Hui laughed and said, "That's right, your mission is to scare them!"

Sun De was still somewhat worried and said, "General, the strategy of tying tree branches to horse tails has been used against Tie Lie before. In that battle, you won with fewer troops and have long been known in the military circles as a..." "Classic battle examples have been collected by the Martial Arts Hall and given to officers for study. How could the garrison commanders of the five prefectures not know about them?"

Long Hui laughed, "I'm not worried about that at all. First of all, the purpose of the beacon towers is to transmit information in a timely manner. The soldiers responsible for the beacon towers must light the fire immediately upon seeing the situation. Even if the commander-in-chief notices something amiss, it will be too late to stop them. Secondly, even you, Sun De, think this plan is risky. The enemy will never expect me to dare to repeat this trick on their territory and use this so-called classic battle example to fool them."

The two couldn't help but praise, "General, your methods are admirable."

Long Hui said, "Although you are using a feint attack to scare them, you are still facing an enemy force several times larger, which is equally dangerous."

Sun De laughed, "As long as the general keeps the four outer prefectures from catching their breath, we will not be in any danger at all, and we will complete the mission very easily."

Long Hui said, "Good, you two go and prepare. You can decide on the manpower as you see fit."

The two generals bowed and accepted the order, each going to check their troops and prepare to set off.

The Iron Wall Pass army split into two forces, one openly attacking the four prefectural cities from four directions, while the other secretly deployed five hundred elite troops to cross treacherous valleys. The

50,000-strong army advanced in succession, approaching the four outer prefectures. Long Hui, clad in full armor and riding a spirited steed, commanded a formidable army, his imposing presence and overwhelming force alarming the five prefectures, who lit beacon fires and locked their gates to repel the enemy.

"Attack the cities from four directions!"

Long Hui shouted, and the messengers behind him immediately beat the war drums. The drums signaled the order, and the four armies moved in unison, each attacking their respective prefectural cities.

Instantly, the war drums thundered, and battle cries filled the air. The elite troops of Iron Wall Pass launched a powerful assault, first bombarding the area with artillery fire. The relentless barrage of cannonballs shook the surrounding landscape, displaying their formidable power.

Long Hui knew that these five counties were intended by the imperial court to contain Liaodong and the Northern Frontier. Although the cities were small, their walls were no less sturdy than those of Iron Wall Pass. Furthermore, their high elevation meant that artillery bombardment was ineffective, causing little damage to the walls.

Seeing the ineffectiveness of the artillery, Linghu Da sounded the horn, signaling the start of a general offensive. The other three armies followed suit, launching their own attacks. However, the five counties were united, and the troops stationed on the outer perimeter were mobilized, engaging in fierce combat with the Iron Wall Pass forces. Even with their formidable fighting prowess, these four armies struggled to break through the siege. (Advertisement break: Still relying on your hands? How can that be satisfying? The fierce battle raged from morning till noon. The retreat was ordered, allowing the four armies to withdraw and rest, while the eight elite troops in the rear took over the fighting, launching repeated attacks on the four prefectures.

The four prefectures, relying on their high walls and strong fortifications, withstood the onslaught of the elite troops at Iron Wall Pass. They also used smoke signals to relay messages and strategically deployed their troops outside the cities to harass the attacking forces, effectively halting Long Hui's advance.

Seeing that the battle was protracted, Long Hui assessed the situation and set his sights on the lower-lying Zhongtong Prefecture, moving his rear forces towards it.

Long Hui's army was poised to strike Zhongtong Prefecture, only to be met by a garrison of about three hundred men. However, their formation was flexible and unpredictable, suggesting they were not the main fighting force and were likely only there for harassment and obstruction.

Long Hui had no time to deal with these rabble. He waved his hand and said, "Yue Biao, I'll give you a hundred axemen. You cut these scum to pieces!"

Yue Biao roared, wielding his broadsword and shouting, "Brothers, follow me!"

He led his hundred axemen out of the main force, splitting up to attack the three hundred scattered soldiers.

The guerrilla force, seeing only a hundred men, was immediately overjoyed. They abandoned their guerrilla tactics and transformed into a phalanx for siege warfare, attempting to swallow the hundred axemen and gain some merit.

Yue Biao took the lead, charging into the enemy ranks. He swung his broadsword left and right, hacking down more than ten enemy soldiers in one go, cursing, "Damn it, don't think you're so great just because you have more people. Today I'll show you what it means to take on ten men at once!"

As he spoke, his broadsword slashed repeatedly, and anyone who came close was splattered with blood.

Seeing their leader's bravery, the remaining axemen were invigorated and fought fiercely. The three hundred scattered soldiers were no match for these iron-willed soldiers with their soaring morale. They were routed by the hundred axemen, their ranks scattered, and their defeat was unstoppable.

Just as Yue Biao was preparing to wipe out the remaining troops in one fell swoop, the sound of hooves suddenly came from ahead. Looking up, he saw a cavalry force of over two hundred men, and behind them was Ma Gorge, presumably reinforcements from the garrison outside the gorge.

Yue Biao didn't linger in battle, using his axe to carve a bloody path through the enemy lines, shouting, "Brothers, retreat!"

Although they had achieved a small victory in this battle, they had also learned a thing or two about the strength of these five prefectures. When

one prefecture was in trouble, neighboring prefectures would come to its aid, and the presence of troops stationed along the routes between the prefectures greatly shortened the time it took to dispatch troops, making the assistance more timely.

Returning to his unit with his axemen, Yue Biao stuck out his tongue and said, "Damn it, these bastards are really fast. I had just cut half of them down when a cavalry unit appeared to come to the rescue."

Long Hui laughed, "That's the strength of the Five Counties. The roads between the counties are like iron chains, connecting these five counties into one, allowing them to coordinate their offense and defense and respond quickly."

Yue Biao asked, "Is there no way to break their connection?"

Long Hui laughed, "Not at all. While being closely connected is an advantage, it can also be turned into a disadvantage if the strategy is used properly!"

After saying that, Long Hui immediately ordered his soldiers to launch another fierce attack, increasing the defensive pressure on Zhongtong.

After fighting for most of the hour, dozens of smoke plumes suddenly rose from the direction of Jiuye. Long Hui was overjoyed, thinking to himself, "Brilliant! Xu Hu and Sun De have succeeded!"

Long Hui's gaze swept towards the walls of Zhongtong City. Seeing that the defenders' coordination was somewhat chaotic, he knew that the opportunity had arrived. He shouted, "Beat the drums! Charge! Take Zhongtong!"

The entire army moved in unison, swarming forward. Ladders and catapults were used in succession, and the battle was fierce, with blood staining the yellow sand and smoke filling the air.

Long Hui's eyes narrowed. He already knew that Xu Hu and Sun De's deception had succeeded. The four prefectures were not only worried about the safety of Jiuye, but also had to guard against attacks from the rear. Therefore, they had to divert some troops to guard the rear. Now, what Long Hui had to do was to amplify the enemy's panic to the extreme, causing them to destroy their own walls.

Long Hui roared and personally led the charge. He leaped through the air, landing before Zhongtong City, raising his sword to the sky and absorbing the thunderous energy of the heavens. Instantly, his true energy surged, unparalleled in its power, and a surge of purple lightning current arose – the Thunderclap Technique from the Thunderbolt Chapter – Thunder Shakes the Nine Heavens! He channeled this lightning energy into his sword and slashed down, unleashing a violent burst of lightning that killed and wounded countless soldiers on the city walls. Then, Long Hui reversed his stance, gripping the sword in his other hand and plunging it into the brick wall. A sharp, hissing sound rang out, and countless bolts of electricity shot from the ground – this was – Lightning Shocks the Ten Earths. The

combined use of the thunder and lightning techniques caused heavy casualties among the city wall soldiers. Long Hui's actions were perfectly timed, amplifying the enemy's fear and panic while simultaneously boosting morale – a double benefit. The soldiers of Iron Wall Pass, their morale soaring, surged up the ladders, attempting to seize the city walls.

Yue Biao charged forward, leaping onto the city wall. With a single axe stroke, he chopped down the Zhongtong army flag and planted the Tiebiguan flag atop the wall, shouting, "Brothers, Zhongtong has fallen!" With

the flag replaced, enemy soldiers stormed the city. The Zhongtong defenders lost all will to fight, and the prefect reluctantly raised a white flag.

With Zhongtong fallen, the morale of the remaining three prefectures plummeted. The strong army of Tiebiguan quickly advanced, breaching the gates one after another. Following Zhongtong, Tianshui, Maxia, and Fengling raised the Tiebiguan flag. Seeing this, Long Hui laughed, "Good! Yue Biao, you were the first to plant our flag, boosting morale. This battle is your greatest achievement!"

Yue Biao was overjoyed and quickly bowed in gratitude. Long Hui,

with his martial arts skills, could have easily moved freely, but he had refrained from attacking, waiting for the perfect opportunity.

As the saying goes, a wise man avoids dangerous situations. As the commander-in-chief, he cannot act rashly. If he does act, he must swiftly and decisively defeat the enemy to establish an invincible image and unshakeable authority in the eyes of his soldiers.

The enemy's attack and defense were well-organized; if Long Hui had rashly launched a strong attack, he would have failed, his authority would have been lost, and his army would have been unable to rally. Now

, Long Hui has captured Zhongtong, expanding his gains. With four prefectures breached, his 50,000 troops have successfully removed the outer strongholds and are now converging to directly attack the now isolated Jiuye Prefecture. After

capturing Zhongtong, Long Hui ordered that the people not be disturbed, only arresting the prefectural and county officials.

Looking at the officials before him, Long Hui said calmly, "My attack on the five prefectures is not a rebellion, but an attempt to save the nation!"

The prefect spat, "You traitorous villain, spouting nonsense without a shred of shame!"

Long Hui said, "The Emperor's murder was a conspiracy by the Haotian Sect. Now, the sect leader is impersonating the Xia King, preparing to take his place and seize the Great Heng Empire. My uprising was a last resort, and I hope you will all understand!"

The officials all looked disdainful. Knowing that further words were futile, Long Hui said, "As long as you behave yourselves, I will not harm you. As for your families and residences, I have not touched a single one. I only want control of the five prefectures, not to burn, kill, or plunder."

After saying this, he ordered the officials to be thrown into prison and posted notices that the Xia King was actually Cang Shitian in disguise. He added that as long as these prisoners stayed obediently in prison, they would be released after he had completely controlled the five prefectures. This move won the favor of many people.

At this moment, Yue Biao stepped forward and reported, "General, I have taken control of the armory. Please inspect it!"

Long Hui nodded and followed the army into the armory. He saw that the armory was very clean, and the weapons were well preserved. The iron blades showed no signs of rust, which was a characteristic of military towns.

Long Hui walked around inside and nodded, saying, "The armory is well preserved. Have the soldiers replace the damaged weapons."

The generals received the order and ordered the weapons to be carried out, and the soldiers were assembled to distribute the weapons.

Watching the weapons being carried out, Long Hui was very satisfied. He walked away leisurely, but suddenly his mind became restless. A familiar feeling came from a box next to him. Long Hui hurriedly shouted, "Put that box down."

The soldiers carefully put down the box.

Long Hui bent down and lifted the lid of the box. Inside were a batch of swords. Perhaps due to lack of care, many of them were rusty. One longsword was particularly rusty, even the hilt was covered in rust, and the blade was still in a scabbard.

The feeling in his heart grew stronger. Long Hui picked up the rusty sword and pulled it from its scabbard. He saw that the blade was also heavily corroded by rust and was almost stuck to the scabbard.

Examining the rusty sword carefully, he noticed the two ancient seal characters "陷仙" (Xianxian) faintly written on the spine. He was greatly surprised and secretly delighted, thinking, "I have now collected three of the Four Great Immortal Swords. It seems that Heaven is truly helping me!"

Long Hui said calmly, "Immediately summon the person guarding the storeroom."

His subordinates immediately went to do so and soon brought back an old man in his sixties.

The old man timidly bowed to Long Hui, saying, "This old man greets the General."

Long Hui said gently, "Old man, there's no need to be nervous. I mean no harm; I simply wish to ask you some questions."

The old man's mood eased considerably, and he said, "This old man is merely a minor steward of this storeroom. Your words, General, are truly unbelievable."

Long Hui pointed to the box containing rusty swords and broken knives and asked, "Why are these swords and knives packed in a box?"

The old man replied, "These are all rusty weapons; they're packed in a box because they're intended to be discarded."

Long Hui then raised the Immortal-Trapping Sword in his hand and asked, "Where did this sword come from?" "Where did you come from?"

The old man frowned and said, "Back then, besides myself, there was another warehouse manager. That lad was lazy and a gambler, accumulating a mountain of debt. He stole weapons from the warehouse to resell, then filled the gaps with inferior goods. Most of the weapons in this box were brought in by him. Later, he was punished by military law, and I was left to manage the warehouse alone. As for the sword in the general's hand, I really don't know its exact origin. It might have been brought in by that assassin, or it might have been here originally."

Long Hui smiled and nodded, saying, "Thank you, old man."

Seeing Long Hui's amiable demeanor, the old man was in high spirits and said, "I don't know the origin of the sword, but I do know a little about the scabbard."

Long Hui asked curiously, "I'd like to hear the details."

The old man said, "Ten years ago, a notorious bandit named Lu Zhongtong was discovered and captured by soldiers. The centurion, who was leading the group, noticed a sword on him that could cut through iron like mud, so he took the sword. But the scabbard was extremely ugly, so he casually threw it into the armory."

Long Hui took out a piece of silver from his pocket and smiled, "Old man, you've helped me a lot today. Take this silver and buy some wine!"

The old man was flattered and left, thanking him profusely.

Everyone was puzzled to see Long Hui so happy about getting a rusty sword.

Long Hui chuckled, scratched his wrist with his fingernail, and smeared the blood on the rusty sword.

The Immortal-Trapping Sword, imbued with the blood of a true dragon, awakened its inner sword spirit once more. Instantly, its dazzling light soared to the heavens, its sword radiance shaking all directions. It

no longer resembled a rusty sword; it was clearly a peerless divine blade. Long Hui twirled the sword, sheathed it, and laughed, "All troops, march forth! Before nightfall, I will reward the entire army in the Nine Fields!"

The army pressed forward, only to find a troop of about five hundred cavalry waiting ahead, their horses' tails tied with branches. Leading them were Xu Hu and Sun De.

Long Hui smiled, "Brothers, you've worked hard. The capture of these four counties, along with these five hundred warriors, has been invaluable. Upon returning to camp, I will reward you handsomely!"

Xu Hu and Sun De dismounted and thanked him.

The generals who had accompanied Long Hui were somewhat puzzled, wondering when these two had arrived in the Nine Fields. They seemed to have never fought a battle; how had they inexplicably gained merit? Seeing the generals' confusion, Long Hui smiled and explained the whole story. The generals immediately understood; the five hundred men had played a crucial role in capturing four prefectures in a single day.

Their tactics—crossing treacherous valleys in secret, launching a surprise attack on Jiuye, and then using a diversionary tactic within the enemy's stronghold to deceive the five prefectural garrisons—were all incredibly skillful. The generals marveled and were filled with admiration.

Xu Hu laughed, "General Long, the prefect of Jiuye was furious when he learned we only had five hundred men. Why don't you go see what that old codger looks like? He's standing on the city wall right now!"

Long Hui laughed, "Alright, I'll go and see the prefect of Jiuye!"

With that, he led his army towards Jiuye, fifty thousand troops garrisoning outside the city, watching intently.

Long Hui glanced at the city wall and saw a fifty-year-old man in official robes standing with a sword—it was Shen Zhiping, the prefect of Jiuye.

Long Hui had known this man's character well; he was an upright and incorruptible official. So he rode forward and said, "Prefect Shen, now that the four prefectures are in my hands, Jiuye is an isolated city. You'd better surrender quickly to avoid further casualties!"

Shen Zhiping angrily replied, "You usurper! Although I have no power to reverse the situation, I will never submit to you scoundrels. I will fight to the last man and never surrender!"

Long Hui said, "Prefect Shen, I am not a rebel. The real rebel is Cang Shitian in Yujing. This scoundrel impersonated the Xia King and murdered the Emperor... " "Your Excellency, our uprising is truly to rectify the state of our Great Heng. The soldiers of Iron Wall Pass are merely acting in accordance with our righteous cause. If we have offended the Prefect, please forgive us!"

Shen Zhiping sneered, "King Xia is Cang Shitian? How laughable! Your collusion with the demon race to murder the Emperor has spread throughout the land, yet you still have the audacity to frame the Emperor's younger brother in front of everyone. You are utterly shameless!"

Long Hui said, word by word, "Prefect Shen, I swear to Heaven, I absolutely did not collude with the demon race to murder the Emperor!"

Shen Zhiping snorted, "Easier said than done." "Listen!"

Long Hui pulled out the blood-written letter from the King of Qi and the secret edict from Huangfu Wuji, saying, "I have evidence here to prove my innocence. Prefect Shen, why don't

you take a look?" Shen Zhiping said, "Alright, then present the evidence. I will judge its authenticity!"

Long Hui shook his head and said, "Prefect Shen, please forgive me. This evidence is of great importance. I cannot hand it over hastily. I beg you to make the effort to come outside the city and take a look." Shen Zhiping sneered, "You, surnamed Long

, if you want to trick me into opening the city gates, at least come up with a better excuse. Do you think I'll fall for such a ridiculous scheme?"

He laughed and said, "Lord Shen, since I have the ability to use five hundred soldiers to wreak havoc on your five prefectures, why would I use such a lowly scheme? Besides, my army is now pressing in. If it weren't for the fact that you are an upright and incorruptible man, I would have already attacked the city. Why would I need to waste time talking to you like this?"

Shen Zhiping considered the matter carefully, gave a few instructions to his deputy general, and then agreed, "Very well, I will come and see this so-called ironclad evidence!"

He had someone carry him out of the city in a basket, never opening the city gates. Moreover, if he were captured, his deputy general would bear the heavy responsibility of defending the city, showing great caution.

When he reached him, Long Hui handed over the secret edict and the blood-written letter. Shen Zhiping's expression changed constantly after reading them, his mood shifting between light and dark. He took a deep breath and slowly exchanged the secret edict and the blood-written letter.

Long Hui said, "Since the Prefect has already seen it, he must have made a decision."

Shen Zhiping said, "A few pieces of paper are not enough to prove anything. Even if Cang Shitian is indeed the King of Xia, General Long, you are not necessarily clean either!"

Long Hui frowned and said, "Is the Prefect still concerned about my affair with the demon race?"

Shen Zhiping said, "As the saying goes, flies don't land on eggs without cracks. Since rumors are spreading, Lord Long, you must clear your name to gain my trust."

Long Hui said, "How can I clear my name? Please enlighten me!" Shen

Zhiping said, "I know that you are a man of your word, General. If you swear before the three armies that you are irreconcilably opposed to the three evil races of demons, monsters, and evil spirits, and that you will kill them one by one, I will open the city gates to welcome you!"

Long Hui was taken aback. The demon and evil races were fine, but the demon race was already allied with him. Killing them was like cutting flesh from his own body.

Although a few casual oaths might seem insignificant, and could be easily fabricated, Long Hui knew that uttering such words would be a betrayal of Chu Wanbing and Luo Qingyan, and a disservice to their good intentions. Therefore, he absolutely could not utter this oath.

Seeing Long Hui's hesitant expression, Shen Zhiping immediately sneered, "Is this oath so difficult? Why can't the general utter it?"

Long Hui sighed deeply, "Not all three races are evil. What difference is there between my oath and indiscriminate killing of innocents!"

Shen Zhiping roared, "What indiscriminate killing of innocents? You are nothing but a lackey of the demon race, which is why you dare not swear an oath, fearing your master's wrath and punishment. Is that it?!"

Long Hui's hesitant expression and feeble words, combined with Shen Zhiping's angry rebuke, stirred up a thousand waves. Some dissent arose in the hearts of the soldiers below, and the morale of the army began to waver.

Xu Hu spurred his horse to Long Hui's side, urgently calling out, "General, please say something! The brothers are all waiting for you!"

Long Hui remained silent, and Xu Hu's heart sank.

Just then, a messenger rushed in to report, "General, a force of over three hundred men has suddenly appeared to the east. Their movements are strange. Please make a decision!"

Long Hui immediately ordered, "All troops, be on alert!"

Before he could finish speaking, another scout reported, "General, that force is moving very fast, as if their feet don't touch the ground. They're already within three miles of our army!" "

Not touching the ground?" This was clearly superior lightness skill! Long Hui was greatly surprised. Where did these experts come from, and there were over three hundred of them? He hurriedly went to the east to investigate, and saw a strange procession rushing towards them amidst the billowing dust. The people were dressed in magnificent robes, adorned with gold and silver, and walked with a swift, powerful gait. In the center of the procession was a luxurious sedan chair carried by eight strong men, surrounded by beautiful maids who sang softly, played musical instruments, and scattered fragrant flowers.

Suddenly, a soldier shouted, "It's...it's the demon race!"

Upon hearing this, the entire army sprang into action. Xu Hu charged forward first, shouting, "General, let me kill these demons to prove your innocence!"

Just as he spurred his horse into gallop, Long Hui suddenly blocked his path, extending his arm and unleashing a gentle force that repelled Xu Hu and his horse.

Xu Hu cried out, "General, what are you doing!"

Long Hui roared, "No one is to move without my order!"

The entire army fell silent. Long Hui felt a surge of helplessness; though the soldiers said nothing, he felt countless distrustful gazes upon him.

The column marched for about thirty paces before stopping. The Iron Wall Pass soldiers gripped their weapons tightly, their palms drenched in cold sweat, like taut bows ready to be drawn at the slightest movement from the demon soldiers.

Three figures emerged from the column: a man and two women. The one in the middle was Xian Huo, flanked by two beautiful women, Teng Ji and Ming Xue.

In the sixth episode,

the three demons, Xianhuo, Tengji, and Mingxue, knelt before Long Hui simultaneously, followed by the hundred demons behind them. Seeing this bizarre scene, not only the army but even Long Hui himself was utterly bewildered.

Xianhuo held up a gold-inlaid scroll above his head and said, "Our clan's lord, the Demon Queen, greatly admired General Long's bravery and wisdom after witnessing his prowess. Later, she learned that the General was the reincarnation of the Xuan Tian True Dragon, who had saved our ancestor Di Hong during the Primordial Era. Filled with gratitude, she has specially ordered us to come today to present a surrender document to the Xuan Tian Dragon Lord, wishing to submit our entire clan and serve under his command!"

Long Hui was initially stunned, then understood. Sister Luo's so-called grand gesture was to entrust the entire clan to him. Since rumors were circulating that he had become a henchman of the demon race, then… Luo Qingyan, however, did the opposite, directly submitting to Long Hui in public. His original generals would be greatly impressed by Long Hui's ability to subdue these "demons," and their previous distrust and suspicion would vanish. The demon race would then become Long Hui's complete fighting force. With a little manipulation of public opinion, he would no longer be seen as a demonic villain, but as a saint who had educated evil demons—even these demons, feared and dreaded by the world, would sincerely submit to General Long. Long Hui's prestige would reach an unprecedented height, thus countering the usurper Cang Shitian.

Teng Ji added, "To show our sincerity, Her Majesty has specially ordered us to bring 100,000 taels of gold and silver, and ten cartloads of silk to present to the Dragon Lord as a reward for the soldiers!"

Long Hui laughed heartily.

He reached out and took the surrender document, then waved his hand and said, "Since it is a show of sincerity, then I will accept it without hesitation. Men, take the gold, silver, and silk. Keep half as military pay and distribute the other half to the soldiers!"

The soldiers were speechless. One hundred thousand taels of gold, even after dividing it in half, would still leave fifty thousand taels. There were only fifty thousand men in this battle, which was equivalent to one tael of gold per person. A centurion only earned ten taels of silver a year, and many of them had never even seen gold before. Add to that the silver and silk, and it was an unimaginable fortune. How could such a huge reward not drive people crazy?

Teng Ji continued, "Our clan has few men, and many women are of marriageable age but still unmarried. The Dragon Lord has many heroes under his command, and this time Your Majesty has specially ordered me to bring twenty beauties, hoping that the Dragon Lord can arrange a good man for them to entrust their lives to!"

After saying this, the slender-waisted beauty clapped her hands, and twenty alluring and graceful figures filed out, each with tender, fair skin. The soldiers stared in disbelief, swallowing hard. Everyone had the same thought—damn it, if I could find one to be my wife, I wouldn't care if she was human or demon, I would even die from exhaustion.

Long Hui frowned and asked, "Teng Ji, what does this mean?"

Teng Ji replied, "We are unwilling to commit acts of killing and harming others. We are wholeheartedly devoted to good and hope to live in harmony with the world. We beg the Dragon Lord to have mercy and grant us peace."

Xian Huo declared loudly, "We swear that from this day forward we will follow the Dragon Lord, be wholeheartedly devoted to good, and never harm anyone. If we break this oath, may we be struck by lightning and die a horrible death!"

Long Hui pretended to be serious and said, "Since you are all willing to do good, I will certainly help you wholeheartedly! If we want to integrate into the Divine Land, then intermarriage is the best way."

After saying this, he turned to his generals behind him and said, "All officers above the rank of captain of a thousand who are not yet married, step forward!"

In a flash, more than a dozen officers stepped forward, Xu Hu being one of them.

Long Hui smiled at the young women, "I only have nineteen officers here, so there are more monks than porridge. If any of you ladies take a fancy to one, come and stand beside him."

Twenty pairs of clear, bright eyes darted between the eighteen officers, their alluring gazes melting even the hardest steel. The officers blushed instantly, like virgins.

After admiring them enough, the young women approached their chosen men. A delicate fragrance wafted from their faces, and their fair skin bloomed like flowers. These seasoned generals, however, lowered their heads shyly.

Finally, each man had a beautiful woman by his side, but Xu Hu had two. The crowd laughed and said, "Xu Hu, you virgin, you dare to have one on each side? Be careful you won't be able to stand up tomorrow!"

Xu Hu shouted, "What are you yelling about? You bunch of idiots, be careful you die in bed tonight!"

At this moment, a girl with an oval face on his left timidly asked, "General, are you still a virgin?"

Xu Hu's face turned red instantly, and he coughed incessantly, unable to speak.

The girl with a round face on his right lowered her head and said shyly, "We sisters are all virgins... General, please be gentle with us."

Xu Hu nodded repeatedly like a chick pecking at rice, saying repeatedly, "I promise, I promise, don't worry, don't worry..." As the saying goes, even heroes can't resist the charms of a beautiful woman. First, there was gold and silver to pave the way, then beautiful women to accompany them. These soldiers were very honest people. Fighting and killing enemies was just about making a living. They didn't care about loyalty to the emperor or righteousness. As long as their leader treated them well, they would sell their lives.

Seeing Long Hui subdue the demon race, not only possessing wealth but also surrounded by beautiful women, their hearts swelled with excitement.

Teng Ji continued, "Her Majesty has also specially sent her only daughter, hoping she can serve the Dragon Lord!"

These words silenced the entire hall. Everyone vividly remembered the Demon Queen's arrival at Iron Wall Pass; her otherworldly allure and charm had rendered thousands of soldiers speechless. As the saying goes, like mother, like daughter; if the mother was so beautiful, how could the daughter be anything less?

Amidst the breathless silence, a corner of the sedan chair was lifted, and a graceful figure, supported by maids, slowly descended. Her jade-like feet lightly touched the dust, and instantly, soldiers on both sides gasped. Then came the clanging of weapons hitting the ground; everyone's expressions froze, their eyes unable to move.

The person inside the sedan chair was Chu Wanbing. Her beautiful hair cascaded down her shoulders, glossy and smooth like a black waterfall, her hair tied up in a jade bun. Her dress was predominantly white, but different from her usual attire. She wore a wide-sleeved robe over her upper body, the sleeves wide but tapering at the upper arms, accentuating her rounded, lotus-like arms. A plain white silk shawl draped over her elbows. Underneath, she wore a plain white robe, her ample breasts forming a rounded arc. Her slender waist was cinched with a gold-threaded sash and wrapped with a jade belt. A pink cord with several jade beads hung down in front of her knees, making her look charming and lovely. Her gait was alluring yet elegant, her lotus feet appearing and disappearing beneath her robe as she walked.

Her pretty face was half-veiled, revealing only a pair of bright, clear eyes. Her eyes held a hidden allure, captivating and mesmerizing. Everyone whose gaze fell upon her felt their hearts pound, their bodies heat up, and their faces flush.

Chu Wanbing gracefully walked to Long Hui, gave a delicate bow, and knelt down, saying, "This servant greets Lord Long!"

This young girl, usually so proud and arrogant, now knelt before him in front of thousands of people, ultimately to help him dispel the slanderous rumors and establish a supreme, saintly image. Long Hui was deeply moved by this profound affection.

"Please rise, young lady!"

Long Hui pretended not to recognize Chu Wanbing, helped her up, and suddenly embraced her slender waist, soaring into the air. Reaching a high point, he shouted, "Now even the demon race belongs to me! Who dares to speak nonsense! Tonight I will conquer Jiuye, and let my brothers enjoy fine wine and delicacies within the city!"

The soldiers cheered loudly, their scattered morale regrouping, becoming more united than ever before, and Long Hui's prestige surpassed all others.

Seeing her husband's imposing presence, Chu Wanbing felt a surge of joy. She leaned softly against him, feeling as if she were the happiest woman in the world.

Shen Zhiping roared, "You still dare to say you didn't collude with the demon race? Now the evidence is irrefutable, what else do you have to say!"

Long Hui sneered, "The demon race, under my jurisdiction, does good deeds and accumulates merit, which can help me cleanse the country and eliminate traitors. What's wrong with that!"

Shen Zhiping retorted angrily, "A demon is a demon, its evil nature is hard to change, and one day it will bring disaster to the world!"

Long Hui snorted, "Lord Shen, saying such things is tantamount to ignoring the teachings of the sages. The sages said that education should be for all, regardless of background. Since the demon race has the will to do good, why label them with evil? You say their demonic nature is hard to change, then tell me what exactly the weapons in the armory are." "Right or wrong!"

Shen Zhiping said, "Right and wrong depend on people's hearts. Using weapons to protect the country is righteous, while using weapons to burn, kill, and plunder is evil!"

Long Hui nodded and said, "Well said, but after all this talk, it still comes down to people's hearts. Although I, Long Hui, dare not say that I love the world, the soldiers I lead have never harassed the people. Just like these weapons that protect the country, the demon race under my jurisdiction will surely be able to restrain their evil habits, accumulate good deeds, and bring blessings to the region!"

At this moment, a vast expanse of Daoist splendor suddenly appeared in the sky, and Daoist robes fluttered amidst the light and shadow. It was Hongjun who had arrived.

The young Taoist beside Hongjun shouted, "Master Hongjun of the Taoist Sect has arrived!"

Shen Zhiping seemed to have seen a savior and hurriedly stepped forward to greet him, saying, "I, Shen, pay my respects to the Taoist Master. This man has colluded with demons and is utterly depraved, attempting to seize my Jiuye County.

I beg the Taoist Master to slay the demon!" Hongjun waved his whisk and sighed, "Prefect Shen, you are mistaken. As the saying goes, cultivate your mind and character, accumulate virtue, and all beings will attain enlightenment. Since the demon race has shown remorse, then they have entered the gate of immortality and will surely achieve enlightenment in the future."

Shen Zhiping never expected to receive such an answer from the Taoist Sect Master, and he was so angry that he couldn't even speak.

Hongjun shook his whisk and said, "This humble Taoist observed the celestial phenomena last night and, using Taoist artifacts, deduced that a sage will emerge in the north to subdue all demons, quell the flames of war, and spread benevolence throughout the land. It seems General Long is this unparalleled sage!"

Many Taoist believers in the army, upon hearing Hongjun's words, held Long Hui in even greater admiration, their eyes gleaming with fervor. They whispered amongst themselves

, discussing the matter. Long Hui found it amusing and secretly transmitted his voice to Hongjun, "Taoist Master Hongjun, is what you're saying true?"

Unexpectedly, Hongjun replied, "True or false, if no one believes it, it's false; but if someone believes it, it's true!"

Chu Wanbing leaned against Long Hui's chest, softly chuckling and cursing him as a charlatan.

"Looks like I'm a step too late, missing a good show!"

A familiar, hearty laugh, accompanied by a powerful stride, lightly treading across the vast expanse of war, revealed the reappearance of the God of War, Yang Ye, followed by Bai Lingyu, Eunuch Wang, and his former strategist, Lu Chengyan.

Upon seeing Yang Ye, the soldiers simultaneously saluted and shouted "Commander!"

Yang Ye walked up to Long Hui and smiled, "Since the demon race has come under your command, it's a blessing. You must seize this opportunity!"

Yang Ye's renewed support for Long Hui further enhanced his prestige, making him appear in the eyes of the crowd as a saint who had enlightened all demons. Much of the slander smeared by Cang Shitian had been washed away.

Yang Ye raised his voice and said, "Bai Yu, whose real name is Huangfu Lingyu, is the late Emperor's biological daughter. When Consort Bai was murdered, I discovered that the Haotian Sect was behind it. Therefore, I entered the capital to rescue the princess, hoping to restore order in the future! A few days ago, the princess, along with the eunuch Wang who serves the Emperor, went to the Southern Frontier and told him everything about the changes in the capital. The current King Xia is actually Cang Shitian in disguise. He has murdered several princes and is now poisoning the Emperor, all for his ambition to usurp the throne. This villain..." "Yang Ye will show no mercy!"

Long Hui presented Yang Ye with the blood-written letter from the Prince of Qi and the emperor's secret edict. Yang Ye took them, his face darkened, and he proclaimed, "Today, I, Yang Ye, will retake control of Iron Wall Pass, muster my troops, storm the capital, and annihilate the rebels!"

The entire army shouted in unison, "Storm the capital! Annihilate the rebels! Storm the capital! Annihilate the rebels!"

First, the hundred demons paid homage, then the Daoist master offered words of advice, and now the God of War had reappeared. The morale of the Iron Wall Pass army soared, while the morale of the Nine Fields County army was low, leaving them with no room for resistance.

Yang Ye personally led the charge, walking proudly to the city gate and shouting, "Open the gate immediately!"

His shout terrified the soldiers on the city wall, and the deputy general respectfully ran down to open the gate and welcome the army.

Long Hui couldn't help but smile bitterly, thinking to himself, "All my fighting, both direct assault and surprise attacks, a perfect combination of orthodox

and unorthodox methods, has been for naught. It would have been better if the commander had just shouted a command, scaring the enemy into surrendering obediently." The army had successfully occupied five prefectures, reopening the Liaodong supply route. By evening, more good news arrived—three days prior, the Liaodong army, in coordination with Tianjian Valley, had captured Yanzhou; the day before yesterday, they had again captured the undefended Lingzhou; and today they had entered Jinling.

With the Northern Frontier, Liaodong, and Jiangnan connected, Long Hui finally possessed the resources to compete with Cang Shitian.

That night, Yang Ye summoned Long Hui and Bai Lingyu into the room, with Lu Chengyan also present.

Yang Ye said, "Long Hui, Ling Yu has already explained your strategy to me. It's perfect and flawless. But you've only taken the first step. Seizing the counties in Jiangnan will still be a fierce battle. You must be careful!"

Long Hui replied, "With the Commander-in-Chief here, how can we allow the evil god to run rampant? I believe that within half a year, the Commander-in-Chief will definitely quell the rebellion and stop the disaster."

Yang Ye shook his head and said, "Don't be too optimistic. How could Cang Shitian not have left a way to guard against me? I estimate that the next year will be a difficult period. Jinling is crucial in this war. It is not only the core of Jiangnan, but also your foundation. If you can manage it well, you can control the Chu River and the Chishui River, blocking most of Cang Shitian's forces. But if you can't hold it, then Cang Shitian's army will go downstream, and you will face the vast army of Da Heng."

Long Hui bowed and accepted the advice.

Lu Chengyan then said, "After Qiu Baifei learns of the fall of Jinling, he will definitely rush back to Jiangnan to retake the lost territory. I'm worried that your generals are no match for him. You should hurry back to take charge!"

Long Hui responded with a "Yes." Yang Ye then said, "Lingyu, tomorrow you will take the Qilin Army and travel with Long Hui. We should be able to return to Jinling within ten days by passing through Liaodong."

Bai Lingyu accepted the order.

Yang Ye said, "I will be stationed at Tiebi Pass. You can rest assured. I will quickly reorganize the troops and cooperate with you in attacking Cang Shitian."

Long Hui thanked him and then took Bai Lingyu back with him.

Stepping out of the mansion, Long Hui found Hongjun already waiting outside. He bowed and said, "Many thanks for your great help today, Daoist Master." Hongjun smiled and said, "You are of the same ilk as us; helping you is helping ourselves.

" Long Hui teased, "Was what you said today true, Daoist Master?"

Hongjun replied with a half-smile, "Whether it was true or not, I don't know."

Long Hui chuckled inwardly, "Bing'er was right after all;

this old Taoist is a complete charlatan, his ability to deceive people is impeccable." "Daoist Master, monks don't lie; you've broken a precept!"

Long Hui joked.

Hongjun, however, said with a serious face, "That precept belongs to Buddhism; our Daoist sect has no such precept." Long Hui asked, "Daoist Master Hongjun, how is Daoist Master Jingchen doing now?"

Hongjun shook his head and said, "The imperial court is pressuring the Daoist sect under the pretext of pursuing the murderer of the emperor, demanding that Uncle-Master Jingchen be bound and sent to the Ministry of Justice to confess his crimes, or else they will eradicate all Daoist temples in the land."

Long Hui's heart tightened, and he asked, "What is the situation now?"

Hongjun sighed, "Uncle-Master Jingchen is a giant of the Daoist sect. If I hand him over, it would be tantamount to admitting to the crime of regicide, and the entire Daoist sect would be implicated, possibly even wiped out!"

Long Hui said, "Does the Daoist master intend to fight to the end?"

Hongjun nodded and said, "That's right. I have already issued a Heavenly Venerable's decree, ordering all Daoists in the land to move to Jiangnan, preparing to form an alliance with Benefactor Long to jointly resist the Haotian Sect."

Long Hui smiled bitterly, "Although I have seized several temples..." "The city is fortified, but its strength is ultimately limited, which may disappoint the Daoist."

Hongjun said, "Benefactor, do not underestimate yourself. You now have the mighty army of Iron Wall Pass, the elite troops of Liaodong, plus the supplies of Jinling and the experts of the demon race. It is not difficult to contend with Cang Shitian. As for the so-called public opinion and righteousness, the Confucian school will take care of that. Benefactor, please rest assured."

After bidding farewell to Hongjun, Long Hui walked to his residence. He saw a group of demon race experts waiting outside. Upon seeing Long Hui, they bowed in unison and said, "Greetings, Dragon Lord!"

Long Hui nodded with a smile and walked in with Bai Lingyu. He saw Chu Wanbing waiting expectantly, with Lin Birou by her side. The two were truly beautiful and a sight to behold.

Long Hui smiled and picked up Chu Wanbing, kissing her several times. He said gratefully, "Good Bing'er, we really owe you a lot today!"

Chu Wanbing nestled her head in the crook of his neck and said sweetly, "We only led our people to support you after seeing Mother's brocade pouch."

Long Hui asked curiously, "What happened?"

Chu Wanbing smiled and said, "Silly brother, this is the gift Mother gave you. The relationship between our clan and you has always been a source of instability, so Mother simply gave you the entire clan, making you the Demon Emperor. After all, if you lead the demon race, your subordinates won't object, and this is how the demon race's fighting power can be fully utilized." "And it will also quell those rumors that are unfavorable to you."

Long Hui said, "Since that's the case, why not do it sooner?"

Chu Wanbing sighed, "Mother also has to consider the overall situation and think about the clan. You had no foundation at the time, and if you acted rashly, I'm afraid it would only cause dissatisfaction among others. Only after you take Jinling will Mother have a reason to persuade the demons and make the clan willingly submit to you as their master!"

So that's how it is. Bing'er and Sister Luo have really gone to great lengths for me... I could never repay them even with my whole life's blood. Long Hui felt a surge of gratitude and hugged the soft, fragrant body in his arms tightly.

After hugging for a while, Chu Wanbing giggled, "Alright, if you hug any longer, Xiao Yu'er and Bi Rou will get jealous."

Long Hui quickly let go.

Chu Wanbing asked again, "Little thief, do you know the outcome of Mother's duel with Lu Mingluan? I'm so worried about her..."

Long Hui laughed, "Bing'er, don't be afraid, they've made up. From now on, the demon race will no longer have internal strife and can unite against external forces!"

Chu Wanbing asked curiously, "They've made up? How did that happen?"

Long Hui coughed and said, "You'll have to ask Mother about the details yourself later. I can't explain it clearly."

The details were both erotic and helpless, so Long Hui gave a vague and evasive answer.

Unexpectedly, Chu Wanbing became extremely jealous, punching him several times and questioning, "Lu Mingluan is now one of us, are you happy now? Are you waiting to be all lovey-dovey with her and fly away together, are you?!"

Knowing that explaining things would only make matters worse, Long Hui dared not argue with her and immediately changed the subject, laughing, "Bing'er, Xiaoyu'er, Birou, come and see what treasure your husband has acquired today!"

He then took out the Immortal-Trapping Sword, drawing it from its sheath. Instantly, the sword's light shone brightly, astonishing the women who marveled at it.

Chu Wanbing gently stroked the blade with her jade-like fingers, praising, "The cold light is restrained, the essence is concentrated, the sword embodies the soul; it is truly a fine sword."

Long Hui smiled and asked, "Bing'er, do you know where I obtained this sword?"

Chu Wanbing and the two women, Bai and Lin, all shook their heads.

Long Hui then recounted the whole story in detail, and Lin Birou and Bai Lingyu listened, sighing at the unpredictability of life.

Chu Wanbing frowned slightly and said, "Little thief, don't you find it strange?"

Long Hui asked, "Strange about what? The process of how I obtained this Immortal-Trapping Sword?"

Chu Wanbing shook her head and said, "Oh, I'm not talking about that. It's the scabbard. I heard from that old soldier that the scabbard originally held a precious sword that could cut through iron like mud, but how could someone who truly cherishes a precious sword use such a tattered scabbard?"

Hearing her say this, Long Hui also found it strange.

Chu Wanbing took the scabbard, gently stroked the outer shell with her jade-like hand, and tapped it with her jade-like fingers. Suddenly, she raised her eyebrows and said with delight, "Just as I expected, there is a secret hidden inside the scabbard!"

She clenched her five fingers, exerted force with her fair wrist, and used her soft and skillful strength to penetrate along the patterns on the scabbard, instantly peeling off the outer shell of the scabbard. A sheepskin scroll floated out from inside.

Chu Wanbing chuckled and picked up the sheepskin scroll, handing it to Long Hui. "Little thief, quickly look what's written inside."

Long Hui flicked her nose and laughed, "You're such a clever little devil."

He then pulled the other two women over to look at the scroll together.

The scroll began with "Fang Xing Ling Gong" (房星灵功), leading the four to believe it was some kind of martial arts manual. However, what followed were various bedroom techniques, primarily geared towards men, teaching them how to tame a woman's body and soul. The scroll contained a plethora of erotic techniques, including stimulating acupoints with true qi to arouse a woman's desire, making her obediently seek pleasure from the man. The final move was particularly powerful, called "Panlong Fufeng" (盘龙伏凤). This technique required a pure yang body to cultivate, refining the pure yang qi into Fufeng true qi, which was then introduced into the woman's body. From then on, the woman would become his possession, her body unable to resist the Fufeng true qi. Moreover, each person's true qi was different; once one received a particular type of true qi, they would be forever subservient, with no second thoughts, and would always belong to that man.

Long Hui's eyes lit up at the sight of the sheepskin, and he was about to read it carefully when Chu Wanbing, blushing, snatched it away and scolded, "Don't look at this kind of evil magic!"

Long Hui chuckled, darted behind her like lightning, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, pressed his lower body against her full buttocks, and gently kissed her crystal earlobe, saying, "Bing'er, be good, quickly give the sheepskin to your husband!"

Chu Wanbing's sensitive spots had long been thoroughly explored by this little thief, and a few thrusts had made her panting and dazed, her body weak, but she still wouldn't let go.

The characteristic of the Xuan Yin Seductive Body is that it is not easily aroused, but if a man explores its core, the body will involuntarily remember the other person, and only the slightest provocation will cause a surge of passion.

Chu Wanbing's body had already been explored countless times by this nemesis, leaving her with virtually no resistance. If it weren't for her group of sisters, this little girl would have been completely dominated by Long Hui long ago. If this nemesis were to master this so-called "Dragon and Phoenix" technique, she would truly be devoured by him, leaving not even bones behind.

"I absolutely cannot give him the sheepskin..."

Chu Wanbing narrowed her alluring eyes, guarding her last shred of clarity, and silently made up her mind, "If he masters this evil art, how will I ever be able to hold my head high again!"

Thinking of this, she tightly gripped the sheepskin in her small hands, adopting a posture of resistance to the end.

Seeing her flushed face, Long Hui found it truly adorable, and his lust flared up. His hands slid over her delicate body, and his ten fingers, like playing a pipa, instantly peeled off the girl's bra, revealing two round and full breasts.

Long Hui's fingers moved in unison, sliding across the little girl's plump breasts. The smooth flesh bounced and changed shape, and the two nipples stood erect and firm, like plum blossoms in the cold wind and snow, bright and lovely.

Chu Wanbing let out a soft moan, her body trembling. Lin Birou and Bai Lingyu blushed, but it wasn't the first time they'd witnessed this young man's debauchery, so they didn't flee. Lin Birou even obediently went behind the door to check if the doors and windows were locked.

Long Hui's lower body was burning hot, constantly rubbing the little phoenix's round, upturned buttocks, making the plump flesh tremble uncontrollably. Long Hui seized the opportunity, aiming his penis at Bing'er's smooth, warm buttocks, and forcefully thrusting it in, hitting the tender chrysanthemum bud perfectly. Chu Wanbing cried out in unbearable pain, her body convulsing first, then going limp and almost collapsing to the ground.

Long Hui took the opportunity to pry open her fingers and snatch back the sheepskin.

Chu Wanbing cried out in alarm, hurriedly calling to the two women, "Birou, Lingyu, quickly snatch back the sheepskin! If this brat learns the evil magic on it, we'll never have a good life again!"

Hearing the Empress's words, the two women immediately pounced on the sheepskin. Long Hui, furious, cursed them under his breath for their rebellion. He immediately used a Dragon Step to flash behind them, swiftly sealing their qi channels, and then subdued Little Phoenix.

He sat alone to ponder the "Coiled Dragon Subduing Phoenix" technique. It turned out that to execute this move, one must first have intercourse with a woman, constantly probing her clitoris. When the woman released her yin essence and her clitoris softened, one must tightly guard the gate of essence, and make the woman release her yin essence three times in a row before injecting the Subduing Phoenix True Qi.

This method might work on ordinary women, but if one encountered a woman with a Xuan Yin Seductive Body or a Mi Xian Yin, even a strong and skilled practitioner might not be able to withstand it, let alone make the woman release her yin essence three times in a row. He would be lucky to survive.

Long Hui glanced at it a few times, having already figured out the method for condensing the Phoenix Subduing True Qi. He couldn't resist testing the power of this secret technique, so he first aimed his gaze at Chu Wanbing and smiled, "Bing'er, let's try this Phoenix Subduing True Qi on you first, and see if it can tame this little phoenix."

Chu Wanbing shivered involuntarily, looking at Long Hui pitifully with a pleading look in her eyes.

Seeing her tearful appearance, Long Hui's heart softened. He thought to himself, "If I use this Phoenix Subduing True Qi on Bing'er, the little girl will definitely be obedient to me, but will Bing'er still be Bing'er then?" Long Hui thought to himself, Bing'er used to be extremely gentle and compliant towards him, only occasionally getting a little jealous and throwing a tantrum. At times, she would use some little tricks to tease him. All of this made her full of spirit. If Bing'er was no longer mischievous, would she still be the same Bing'er? Similarly, Xiaoyu'er's beauty lies in her heroic spirit and unwavering strength; Birou's charm lies in her delicate and fiery nature, her flirtatious and bold personality; and Sister Die's advantage lies in her maturity and intellect... Thinking of this, Long Hui used his fiery true energy to burn the sheepskin, releasing the three women's pressure points, and laughed, "I was just teasing you. How could I possibly use such methods on you!"

Chu Wanbing hurriedly covered her chest and pinched him hard a few times to vent her anger.

Bai Lingyu also denounced this scoundrel.

After muttering a few words, Chu Wanbing turned her eyes to him, took his arm and sat down, breathing softly in his ear, "Little thief, this so-called Phoenix Subduing True Energy isn't entirely unusable. Do you still remember that damned Holy Mother Haotian?"

Long Hui nodded slightly.

Chu Wanbing giggled, "If you have the chance in the future, give that bitch a taste of her own medicine and make her obediently become your sex slave. Wouldn't that be extremely satisfying?"

Long Hui pinched her delicate chin and said affectionately, "You really are a little vixen who brings trouble to all directions."

Chu Wanbing pouted and said, "I am a vixen who brings trouble to people. You little thief, do you have a problem with that?"

Long Hui said, "How dare I have a problem with that, my little vixen queen!"

Chu Wanbing giggled and said, "Oh, then let this servant serve His Majesty the Demon Emperor!"

After saying that, she reached out and untied Long Hui's belt, released her raging dragon, her cherry lips swallowing and her fragrant tongue licking and sucking. The beauty made Long Hui gasp. He then pulled Bai Lingyu and Lin Birou over and embraced them on the left and right, touching them all over.

His left hand slipped inside her collar, grasping one of Lin Birou's round, plump breasts. His right hand slid open her clothes, cupping one of Bai Lingyu's firm, peach-like breasts. Comparing them, Lin Birou's breasts were soft and full, while Bai Lingyu's were firm and perky—each with its own unique style. And with Little Phoenix providing attentive oral service, Long Hui breathed heavily with pleasure.

He unbuttoned Bai Lingyu's clothes, cupped one of her peach-like breasts, and put it in his mouth. The flesh was plump and bouncy, and he ate with great relish. Bai Lingyu felt weak all over, her legs warm and moist, moaning softly, her face burning red. She wrapped her arms around Long Hui's neck, wanting nothing more than to pull him into her cleavage.

While eating her breasts, Long Hui stroked Lin Birou's large breasts with one hand, and patted Chu Wanbing's cheek with the other, signaling her to proceed to the next step.

Chu Wanbing chuckled seductively, unbuttoning her elaborate clothes to reveal her voluptuous, translucent body. She turned away from him, parting her pink legs and gently lifting her plump buttocks. Her jade-like hand reached under her crotch to guide his erect penis, rubbing it against the tender flesh of his vulva.

A trickle of vaginal fluid moistened the glans. Chu Wanbing bit her lip, hummed in response, and lowered herself to sit down. His penis parted her flesh, grinding the clear love fluid into a thick, sticky mass, sweet and alluring, inducing ejaculation.

Chu Wanbing let out a satisfied moan, her body trembling, her breasts swaying in waves of soft white flesh: "So full…you little thief…"

Her seductive charm was fully revealed as she actively twisted her waist and hips, her voluptuous, fair body swaying gracefully, fragrant sweat flowing down her back. Her two rosy nipples, steamed by desire, gradually hardened and stood erect, like swollen nutmegs and grapes, so beautiful that one dared not look directly at them.

Lin Birou, unable to resist the urge, walked up to Chu Wanbing and kissed her. The two were close, and Chu Wanbing, seeing Lin Birou approach, proactively extended her tender tongue. Their two smooth tongues intertwined and swirled, exchanging saliva.

While a woman's scent wasn't as aphrodisiac as a man's, it possessed a gentle, watery quality. The two kissed passionately, their eyes glazed over, lost in their own world.

Having been apart for many days, Long Hui didn't tease her further. His penis plunged into Chu Wanbing's clitoris, driving her to repeated orgasms, until she ejaculated. The hot, wet fluids made Long Hui's glans go numb; a tingling sensation traveled from his urethra, vibrating his tailbone, causing him to ejaculate deeply, thoroughly filling the snow-white, alluring phoenix.

After dealing with the troublesome little phoenix, Long Hui grinned as he looked at Lin Birou and Bai Lingyu. The two women felt as if their bodies were being melted by his fiery gaze, their fair faces flushed, and their eyes filled with spring...
