Chapter One: The Legend of the Little Soldier.

My frequent falls into the water after arriving in the East China Sea seemed to be telling me something. If I took this as an ominous sign, I could prepare to run away and go home early. Ignoring this ominous premonition, we made ourselves at home in the cabin. Mao Yan'an asked for paper and pen and began writing on his own; Violet lay asleep in a corner of the cabin; Ah Xue dried herself off and lay between my legs, warming my chilled private parts with her full red lips and ample breasts.

Frankly, this method of killing time was quite effective; before we knew it, most of the day had passed, and we arrived at our destination, Lishada Port in the Honolulu Islands. In the past, when the resistance was weak, it often rotated its garrison on different islands to prevent the Black Dragon Society from discovering its main force. It wasn't until Li Huamei stormed the large prison on Bastille Island, liberating many soldiers and greatly strengthening its forces, that it established a stable base on the main island of Honolulu. Later, with successive victories in the war and the expansion of its sphere of influence, it moved its main force to Penglai Island.

Upon disembarking at Lishada Port, one immediately senses the East China Sea atmosphere described by Mao Yan'an. Although not as prosperous as Nalivia, the bustling crowds, diverse hair colors, and complex appearances display the vibrant energy of a metropolis.

Humans are the main inhabitants of the island, but on the docks, there were also crustaceans I'd never seen before. Their appearance was a combination of human and crustacean. It was truly pathetic that a strong, tall man in his prime was robbed by a group of children and was trembling with fear. I didn't want to say another word to him, but Xue took out my clothes from her bundle and gave them to the bearded man to change into, even offering to take him home. Because

of our size difference, I realized he was actually a head taller than me when he put on my clothes. He was tall and imposing, like an iron tower when he stood up. The clothes, which were too small for him, were torn and showed through his clothes, making him look quite ridiculous.

lazy to argue with this man any further and urged Ah Xue to hurry. After walking for about an hour, we finally arrived at the northwest corner of Honolulu. However, when we parted ways with Kato Taka at the fork in the road and arrived at the Geng San Army Camp on the map, we couldn't help but widen our eyes, checking the map in our hands while staring in astonishment at the buildings before us.

The buildings were dilapidated, but that wasn't a big deal. Interrupted by Ah Xue's opening of the door and her announcement, the three giants who were slaughtering pigs, chopping sheep, and cutting raw fish looked up at us with squinting eyes and crooked mouths. Their knives, forks, and axes were raised simultaneously, their ferocious and murderous appearance even more terrifying than the Black Dragon Society's bandits. If they walked down the street, they would surely scare every child on the road to tears.

The sound of the blows was so loud that I even thought all three of them had died.

The one who did it was a burly man standing in the very back corner of the kitchen. His dark skin was striking, and his slightly graying hair made him clearly older than the others. He stepped out from the corner, coldly surveying Ah Xue and me, and spoke loudly.

"Welcome to the Donghai Culinary Training School. I am the second-in-command here, Miyamoto Juzo. You have been assigned here; from now on, you are part of this place."

The golden hook hanging from his missing left arm added to his menacing aura. This black chef named Miyamoto Juzo possessed the bearing of a soldier.

"Upon entering the school, you must obey the orders of the headmaster… that is, the principal. The headmaster's orders are everything. If the headmaster orders a student to die, you will all die. Understand?"

It sounded like there was an even higher-ranking figure in this dreadful kitchen, someone even more imposing than Miyamoto Juzo. But just as I was about to ask who this boss was, a tall, seemingly timid figure appeared behind Miyamoto Juzo, greeting us apologetically.

"No, no, it's not that serious... I won't let anyone die, it's just that in a kitchen, sometimes things just happen..."

The man who had changed into a chef's outfit, wearing a white top hat and a chef's apron, and waved to me and Ayumi, was the head of this kitchen, the bearded man we'd met on the way, Kato Taka. Compared to the menacing Miyamoto Juzo beside him, it was quite a strange combination; it's worth mentioning that he had a blue dragon embroidered on his left sleeve, with a red "特" (Te) character coiled around its body, the meaning of which I had no idea.

With this sentence, our blood-and-tears days at the "East Sea Culinary Training School" began.
