Go on.
The karaoke place was closer to my house than my buddy's. I wanted to take them to my place to sober up first. Once they were in the car, I asked, "Where to?" My buddy didn't answer; I guessed he was also conflicted. I just said, "Home." He hummed in the back. We got home in less than five minutes. Damn, no parking spaces again! The streets outside the complex were packed with cars. That's Beijing for you, nothing you can do. I spent 20 minutes just parking. I guess they got bored during that time, so the couple asked for the keys and went upstairs. I was renting at the time, and I usually kept it pretty tidy, which is why they liked coming over, haha. I don't like going to their place; the sofa is covered in clothes.
We talked about other things too much. After parking the car, I went upstairs. My buddy was watching TV, and I noticed he kept changing channels, so I knew he was distracted. Suddenly, I wanted to tease him, so I asked, "Want to watch a pornographic film?" He glanced at me sideways and scoffed. He casually mentioned that she had gone to sleep in the small room. I felt a little relieved, but also a sense of emptiness. I took a shower first, and when I came out, she came out too. She asked if I had anything to eat, and I said, "Let's make some noodles." She went back inside to shower. When I came out of the kitchen, my buddy wasn't in the room anymore. I heard what sounded like the two of them showering, and I could hear her laughing inside.
They came out and ate noodles together, making small talk. I blurted out, "Why don't you guys sleep in the big room? Nobody's ever slept there before." Actually, someone had slept there over a year ago, but I've been sleeping in the small room ever since she left. They glanced at each other and said okay. They didn't finish eating before going inside. They even asked me, "Do you have any cigarettes?" Seriously? None of us smoke, what's there to be nervous about? No! I was still eating by myself. I was really hungry, I don't know why, I just felt incredibly hungry.
A moment later, the door opened, and he called me. I turned around and saw him peeking out from the doorway. Without thinking, I went over.
He walked up to him and said, "Come in."
I went in. She was lying on the bed. She looked up at me, smiled—a smile that seemed both natural and awkward. I was completely stunned. I heard the door close. I turned around; my buddy was out, leaving just the two of us. "Come on up, it's not like we haven't met before." We used to hang out together, joked around, and even got a little physical. That was when we first met, before she was dating him. I didn't move. She got off, not naked, but quite properly dressed. I thought about it and realized I shouldn't be like this, so I smiled back. I pulled her to sit on the edge of the bed. She asked if we'd stayed here together before. I said yes, and then went on and on about my ex-girlfriend. We stopped talking, and she started hugging me. I didn't push her away; I picked her up and started kissing her. Then, I lay on top of her, kissing her while undressing her. I don't want to describe her body in detail; please forgive me, out of respect for her. When everyone was naked, I held her in my arms. She buried her head in my lap, holding her phone and texting. A moment later, the door opened, and my buddy came in.
I'll stop here for now. I need to go out for a bit; it wasn't intentional, I'm just being honest, I'm worried someone might use my computer. I'll finish writing when I get back this afternoon. That's all for now, thanks.
