On the evening of September 13th, I was working the night shift when my wife went on a date with her lover. My wife said she wanted congee, so they went to the same restaurant. My wife says the food there is very good and of high quality, so they've always gone there since they met. If you have time, you should try it; according to my wife's description, it should be the Green Garden Western Restaurant on Hong Kong Middle Road.
His wife doesn't really like steak. He ordered steak, and she ordered fried rice. They also ordered a pizza, the kind of pizza she likes. After dinner, he said, "Should I take you home?" His wife didn't answer. Actually, he wanted her to stay, but she said he always asks questions like this, never directly asking, and never forcing her.
So the wife is quite relieved about this. In the past, those requests were all direct demands, which made her feel they were driven by ulterior motives and repulsed her. She said that those methods made her feel like a man's outlet for his frustrations, and that she felt worthless. Although this man also had the same goal, he gave the impression that he cared about her.
As they were about to part ways, the wife thought that since they were already out, she would be alone at home anyway, so she said to him, "Let's walk around a bit more. If we find a suitable place, we won't go back; if not, we'll go home." After walking for a while, they came across a hotel with only standard rooms left, with two single beds. The wife said, "Since they're single beds, let's sleep separately!" He didn't say anything, and the wife went to take a shower first. Today is September 21st. My wife said she was bored at home, and since I was working the night shift, I made plans with him. My wife went out around 2 PM, and a little while later she called me to say that they had just checked into a hotel and he had gone to buy water, so he called me.
