First date

Two days ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a couple. The husband added me on QQ and we arranged to meet at 5 PM on Yanyangtian Road. I asked him if I should meet with my wife or just the couple. He said his wife wasn't ready for a swap and they only wanted to meet single men. I arrived early, but by 5:30 PM, they still hadn't shown up, and I started to suspect they were scamming me. I contacted them, and they said they were "parking when they arrived." Since this was my first time participating in such an event, I was both excited and worried, wondering if they were scammers. I cautiously observed my surroundings and found nothing unusual except for the man and woman. Then the man texted me, "What do you mean? Are you trying to scam us?" To be honest, I felt very ashamed. I rushed in to meet them. The man was very friendly, and we greeted each other. The woman was very pretty, but expressionless. I guessed she might be upset that I was late. I saw her whisper something in the man's ear, and he got up to leave. They refused to eat when I invited them to stay. I knew I had wronged them and felt very embarrassed and disappointed. After they left, I asked my brother on QQ, "Is your wife annoyed with me?" She replied, "You're disrespectful. You tricked us into going around in circles to the meeting place, and then you weren't there." I said, "You can't blame me for going to the wrong place. Besides, I'm a bit worldly-wise and always on guard. I observed you for a while and I know you're sincere. You should be more vigilant in the future; there are still many bad people." My sister-in-law said, "Our kind of contact needs at least some trust. If there's no trust, what's the point of contacting each other?" My brother also said, "If your sister-in-law doesn't have a good impression of you, then we shouldn't meet." Sigh! Good things come to those who wait. I hope someone understands me. When I got home, I told my wife about it. She curiously asked if my brother was handsome, how tall he was, if his wife was pretty, and why he didn't invite me... I said his wife wasn't ready for a swap, so he didn't invite me. I hope a suitable couple will join us.
