The longer you chat, the fewer people you'll find you can truly connect with, and the fewer people will remain in your friend list, but the more people you'll find you can have fun with.

I met Y and his wife in a dating group, and we chatted for a while. By some twist of fate, we never managed to get together, but since it was the holidays, we arranged to have lunch together. Both our families are foodies and love to cook, which, in retrospect, is what makes us hang out together. We both live in Fengtai, but we met for lunch at Wuyuanqiao, where there's a good fish restaurant. While eating and chatting, we weren't quite done, so we decided to play mahjong at my place. I drove Y's wife, and Y drove my wife, and we drove to my house. Y's wife isn't very good at mahjong, and she made quite a few funny mistakes. After playing for a while, I suggested we do something fun: whoever loses has to take off their clothes. Soon, Y and his wife were both naked; they said it was their territory. Then we took turns showering, and then naturally swapped clothes. Everything felt so natural. In the middle of the night, everyone was hungry, so we drove straight to Jin Ding Xuan for a late-night snack. After eating, we decided to visit his place, so we went there. We had a few drinks together, slept until almost noon, had lunch together, and then went home to run some errands. We even made plans to have dinner together that evening. From now on, we'll cook at each other's homes and play mahjong. This is the kind of friendship I've always wanted. In October, we planned a crab-catching trip to Qinhuangdao. We're already regular friends.
