【Knights of Dawn: Plague City】(3)

El Cid sat on the steps of the city square, chewing on jerky. Soldiers around him, spears in hand, stared at him in disbelief , utterly unable to comprehend how this man could so readily savor jerky

in the stench of rotting, burning, and bloody corpses . The knights, however , were already used to their commander's antics. Although El Cid had only served as Grand Knight Commander for , everyone knew that trying to emulate this Grand Knight as a human being, someone to be looked up to, would only lead to exhaustion and death. It was far more appropriate to view him as some kind of humanoid being. The adjutant, distinguished by a white swan tail feather adorning his helmet, approached. His riding boots were stained with blood. " That fat man said the city lord's wife was his childhood sweetheart. They were engaged, but she ran off with the city lord. He 's held a grudge ever since, so in a moment of anger, he reported her." Xi De chewed on dried meat, looking up at the adjutant with disdain . The adjutant blushed. "We really couldn't get anything out of him. He even started confessing to bedwetting as a child. " Xi De spat out the dry meat he couldn't chew, and the adjutant shrank back, not wanting to provoke his superior any further. To everyone's dismay, a priestess, escorted by city guards, rode up to deliver the order: " The High Priest's order! The Knights of Judgment! Completely eradicate all zombies from the civilian district by sunset today! Grand Knight Cid, come and receive the order!" Cid dusted off his armor and stood up, his face grim as he approached the priestess on her white horse . The priestess appeared to be only seventeen or eighteen years old, with sky-blue hair and a pretty, round face, but her eyes held a contemptuous, aristocratic air. "Hey, what are you standing there for? Take the order." The young priestess puffed out her chest and snapped. The surrounding knights glanced at their leader's gloomy face, then at the girl's haughty head, and shook their heads inwardly. "Yes! We obey the High Priest's order," the adjutant, sweating profusely, stepped forward to take the document from the girl's hand, but the priestess casually tossed the document to the ground, snorted coldly, and turned her horse away. El Cid reached out and grabbed the white horse's tail, kicking its leg and breaking it instantly. The white horse neighed and collapsed, and the young priestess screamed as she fell to the ground. The two soldiers who had come to protect her stared dumbfounded at El Cid's grim face, then at the knights watching nearby , swallowing hard. El Cid snapped his fingers impatiently, "You... get out." The two soldiers immediately spurred their horses and fled. Before they even reached the gate, they were hurled off their horses by lances. One of them jerked back, enduring the bloody hole in his thigh as he somersaulted, while the other, a beat slower, was beheaded by a knight beside him and thrown into the sacred flames. "You! You insolent traitor!" the young priestess cursed through her tears. She tried to get up, but one of her legs was pinned down by the white horse, and she could only barely prop herself up. Her breasts bounced, and the watching knights swallowed hard . "Where's the order?" Xi De completely ignored her, stomping on the girl's back until she was knocked to the ground. He took the scroll from his adjutant, opened it, and narrowed his eyes. The fire seal was correct, sealed with the high priest's ring, but it was a blank troop deployment order. "Ugh...ugh...let me go...bastard...big bastard..." The girl, writhing in pain under his feet, probably didn't have the courage to change the order. This meant the high priest had only given verbal orders, but the mission was extremely important and arduous, and Xi De had to bear the responsibility. Xi De stroked his chin. A mere zombie extermination wouldn't warrant the high priest mobilizing an entire knightly brigade. Had she really seen something strange...? "Centurion." The adjutant and three knights gathered around Xi De, trying to ignore the girl being trampled under their commander's feet. "Divide the main force into six teams of fifty men each. Leave one team at the south gate and one at the main square, where they have already been cleared, and have them rest . You four will each lead one team, each taking one of the four routes: Queen's Road, Cherry Street, Church Gardens, and the Bar District, traversing the entire city. Meet at the north gate before nightfall, understand?" The adjutant and centurions A, B, and C expressed their confusion, "And after we meet up? Return the same way?" Except for the south gate, all the other gates were blocked with massive stones. "We'll see if we can meet up then. You can decide for yourselves. Alright, let's get going, the sun is about to rise. " El Cid waved for them to set off, then lifted his foot and stomped down hard, a crisp and the weeping and cursing ceased. His men, their scalps tingling, scattered to gather their teams. El Cid beckoned the surrounding soldiers to come and clean up the two bodies that had died from excessive blood loss and broken spines, then took a piece of dried meat from his waist, sat down on the steps of the city square facing the blazing holy fire, and continued chewing. The adjutant, watching Xi De's retreating figure, swallowed hard and turned to the three centurions, asking, "What do you all think? " None of them spoke, so he continued, "There's no way we two hundred men can clear out all the zombies in the city. However, of the four routes the commander mentioned, Queen's Avenue, though a sea of zombies, is a smooth road that fast horses can easily cut through. Cherry Street is a commercial area with many shops and complex terrain, but it was recently cleared , so it's relatively easy. Cathedral Gardens is woodland; heavy cavalry, both men and horses, can't get through, only on foot, but there shouldn't be many zombies there. The bar area is the worst affected, with narrow alleys and many houses, so riding horses is also impossible; it's practically a nine-out-of-ten chance of death. As for disobeying orders..." The others looked at Xi De's back again. "That's a certain death. Gentlemen, what's the choice?" "Let's draw lots. Whoever draws the dead end gets to choose first," Centurion A said through gritted teeth. The four men exchanged glances and nodded. Centurions A, B, and C then drew the dead end, while the lieutenant drew the bar area."Damn it! You guys planned this all along, didn't you..." The adjutant was on the verge of tears, but dared not resist. He had no choice but to grit his teeth and lead the leftover scraps, along with Centurions A, B, and C, off. Little did he know that just as he led his team into the bar district, the other three teams had already returned to the plaza. "Assemble the wedge formation, let's clear Queen's Promenade first!" El Cid led the charge, the knights in their crimson robes raising their lances, pouring down Queen's Promenade like a raging torrent. Although these zombies were indestructible, they were powerless against the crushing force of the iron cavalry. El Cid, with only 150 knights, plowed through the forest of corpses on Queen's Promenade, turning it into a sea of corpses stuck to the ground. Then the soldiers continued their work as scavengers, digging the zombies out of the cracks in the rocks and throwing them into the holy flames to be roasted into charcoal.

"Do you think the adjutant can handle it?" Centurion A gazed towards the bar district in the east of the city. That guy probably had no

idea he'd been betrayed.
"Most likely to fail," sighed B.
"Nine out of ten chances of survival," mourned C.
"A and B, go around to the left!" Eld, leading the charge and wielding two spears that sent zombies flying,

roared.
So A, B, and C forgot about the adjutant and roared as they charged into the sea of corpses. Even if it meant certain death,

they would fight their way to the end.
Meanwhile, the adjutant, completely bewildered by Eld's tactics, led his heavy infantry in a difficult advance.
"Block! Kill! Block! Kill! Don't break formation! Advance! Advance! Block! Kill!"

The adjutant's squad, initially in a square formation, was gradually forced

into a long, serpentine line by the horde of zombies, the narrow terrain of the civilian area, and the debris left behind by fleeing residents. Finally, they became

a disorganized mess of only three or four knights huddled together.
In human warfare, a broken formation meant certain death, but fortunately, their opponents were merely

a horde of slow-moving, monotonous zombies. Aside from being unkillable, they had no other particularly formidable abilities.

After all, zombies are still human. Even if they could exert five times their muscle strength due to the lack of pain until

their muscles broke, their nails and teeth alone couldn't penetrate the knights' fine plate armor. Moreover,

these were zombies from several days ago; their slow movements meant that individually, they posed less of a threat to the knights than ordinary

soldiers. However, the problem was their numbers.
Human physical strength is finite. Even a single zombie needs to be chopped into pieces to

escape their clutches, let alone hundreds or thousands. If you're unlucky, a single trip will result in being overwhelmed by the zombies,

not dismembered, but crushed to death. Therefore, the so-called zombie extermination mission doesn't rely on the knights

' swordsmanship. Their task is simply to lure the zombies to a designated location, then pour holy oil on the gathered zombies and

set them ablaze. While short-term burning won't completely destroy the zombies, it will damage their muscles.

Without muscles, a mere skeleton cannot move, let alone pose any threat to humans.

This is sufficient for these late-stage infected zombies. Of course, if these were the early-stage infected species from a few days ago

, this team would have been torn to shreds immediately.
"Lieutenant! The target warehouse door is locked!" The vanguard knight

roared, smashing the heads of the approaching zombies with his large shield. "These iron chains are thick! We can't cut them!" "They haven't eaten, damn it! They're all exhausted

!" The lieutenant, enraged, rushed to the warehouse door under the protection of the shield guards, grabbed a two-handed axe, and swung it

down... but it chipped.
"It seems to be locked from the inside..." A knight pried open the warehouse door and pushed it. "This place is no good

, let's find another spot." "Find another spot, find another spot..." The lieutenant gritted his teeth and looked around. This warehouse was in

the center of the bar area, and its structure was sturdy, easy to defend and difficult to attack. Holding out for two or three hours and gathering

most of wouldn't be a problem. More importantly, there was a cellar. As long as they sprinkled holy oil on the ground and set it on fire, they could hide

underground and wait for all the zombies to burn to death before coming out, and they would have completed half of the mission. This plan

was devised by Xide a few days ago when the refugee camp was established, intending to wait until the zombies' active period had passed before implementing it. Unexpectedly, now that

everything was ready, the door couldn't be opened? "Damn it! We can't worry about that now! Burn it!" "Burn it!?" The knights

exchanged bewildered glances. "How?" "We'll split into two teams, go around the warehouse, and sprinkle holy oil along the way. Once we meet on the other

side we'll immediately set it on fire. There should still be a lot of alcohol in the warehouse; burning it will stop the zombie horde behind us.

" "But without the priests' seal, the fire could spread throughout the entire city!" Someone immediately objected. The lieutenant was

furious ; they didn't dare utter a single word from the knight commander.
"We can't worry about that now! If it really gets out of control, the priests on the mountain won't stand idly by! Let's do it!

" With the lieutenant insisting, the knights could only grit their teeth and begin.
The fifty-man squad split into two again, as four men had fallen behind,

leaving only twenty-three in each squad. Ten led the way, ten brought up the rear, and three began sprinkling holy oil. Having finally

circled around to the back of the warehouse, the adjutant was stunned again. A dozen or so meat carts

lay overturned, teeming with countless zombies. Two squads of knights emerged almost simultaneously from the alleyways, immediately drawing their

attention . Among them were several early-stage infected with bluish-gray skin. It couldn't be worse.
"Meet at the north gate!" the adjutant roared, then ordered the fires lit.
The knights roared, forming a shield to clash with the surging zombies. Flames leaped into

the air , the holy flames gleaming with a pure white light, smoke billowing throughout the city.
The adjutant roared, slashing with his sword. He and two knights huddled back-to-back, shields protecting their flanks,

then hacked off the limbs of the zombies surging towards them, struggling to move towards the nearest alleyway.
At that moment, the adjutant in charge of covering the rear heard screams, and then he saw several people

crawling out from the warehouse roof, crying and begging for help. Among them were men, women, and several children. The adjutant realized

who had locked the warehouse; unfortunately, despite surviving this catastrophe, they still had nowhere to go.

For a moment, the adjutant wanted to rush over to save them, but then he saw an early-stage infected leap

more than , slap a knight across the face, the knight's head spinning a dozen times before

collapsing to the ground like a tin can.
"Adjutant!" "Go! Get the hell out of here!" The adjutant roared, kicking the knight beside him into the alley,

then erecting his giant shield to block the entrance, and then sprinted for his life. Behind him, in a flash of white light and a deafening roar,

the warehouse collapsed.
After running for an unknown amount of time, the adjutant realized he was alone. Holding his breath, he pulled back

the visor , drew the short knife from his boot and the sword from his waist, and kicked open a wooden door beside him, rushing inside.

He had already lost his two-handed sword and shield in the mad dash; if he encountered zombies, he would have no choice but to fight them in close combat. But the adjutant ...i=66> He wasn't afraid. Apart from the stain of being humiliated by Xi De in the championship match and reduced to an adjutant, he could be said to have no rivals in his life. A dozen or so zombies were no problem at all, but if it were dozens, he would still consider running away.

Then he kicked open the door beside him again, catching a glint of cold light out of the corner of his eye. His double blades flashed instantly, deflecting

the longsword aimed at his neck from behind with a clang. Of course, a counterattack would have been easy, but using a sword meant he wasn't

a zombie.
"Lieutenant-Lieutenant! I'm sorry! Are you alright?" The knight who had ambushed him frantically sheathed his sword, removed

his mask to reveal a young face barely over twenty. "I got separated from my teammates. How's the mission going?

" The lieutenant recognized the young knight; he was a commoner who had enlisted from the countryside, not a typical knight's

son or squire's apprentice. When Cid reorganized the battalion, he had weeded out many good-for-nothings, but this boy had

gritted his teeth and trained relentlessly—a qualified knight.
"Of course we must continue. We'll continue towards the North Gate. You take your weapon and guard behind me, understand?

" The lieutenant stared at him sternly.
"Yes, sir!" The young knight's morale soared, feeling trusted.
The two then began exploring the house, which seemed to be free of zombies. Their exploration involved cautiously

opening doors and cabinets to check for zombies or food.
"What's wrong with this place? All they have are towels!" the young knight complained.
"This isn't a house, it's a bathhouse," the lieutenant said, looking at the sign in the hall, then turning to the young knight and

pointing to the women's bathroom. "Want to go check it out?" "N-no, that's not a good idea," the young knight blushed. He hadn't even participated in the high priest's orgy

that night , just watching from the sidelines with his legs crossed; he was still a virgin
. "What does it matter? It's not worth dying without ever seeing one," the lieutenant said, kicking the door open and

whistling . "There are quite a few left, be careful." The young knight followed, his face still red. "I... I have to stay

behind the lieutenant." Upon entering the women's bathroom, the young knight was immediately struck by what he saw; it was the first time he'd seen zombies without feeling

terrified.
Inside the bathroom were eight female zombies with pale blue skin. Some were soaking in the pool, while others

wandered outside, their large breasts and pubic hair exposed. It was extremely stimulating for the young knight.
"Lieutenant, Lieutenant, Lieutenant, isn't this inappropriate?" The young knight stammered as he saw his lieutenant sheathe his sword and

strut over.
"It's alright, let me teach you a lesson. Female zombies and male zombies are different." The adjutant walked up

to a wandering, large-breasted mature woman, grabbed her hair, dragged her in front of the young knight, lifted one of her

legs, spread her legs, and thrust his hips up, exposing her entire vulva and full breasts

to the young knight. "See? It's alright. Male zombies hunt for meat, while female zombies hunt for men's

semen. It's just that these have been dead for several days, so they're very slow now." "Oh, oh." The young

knight stared intently at the mature female zombie's pale blue body, deep purple areolas and vulva, and swallowed hard.
"What a coward, take it and touch it yourself." The adjutant threw the female zombie over.
The young knight scrambled to catch it, grabbing the female zombie's large, soft breasts, causing her

to moan softly. "She...she can still moan? Wasn't she supposed to be numb?" "Who knows?

She should be swollen after soaking for so long. This isn't normal." The lieutenant parted the female zombie's buttocks to examine her.

There were no obvious wounds on her body; she was probably infected in the pool.
The lieutenant turned and walked to the poolside, staring at the zombies sitting in the water, one by one. Then he grabbed

a red-haired female zombie, dragged her out, and lifted

her legs upside down. He kissed her crotch, then clamped one thigh between her legs and inserted the other into her vagina, stimulating her. Then his expression changed.

He saw male semen stuck to his glove!
"What a joke!" The lieutenant threw the red-haired woman aside and grabbed two more from the pool to examine.

One had teeth marks and a warm, tingling substance on her nipple, and the other had what appeared to be male pubic hair in its mouth. The adjutant pulled out his dagger

and cut open their esophagus and lower abdomen, finding a large amount of semen inside their cavities.
No wonder the female zombies in this bathroom were all quite attractive; this was some man's harem! And this guy

was a pervert who mated with zombies! What a joke! Bodily fluid exchange would definitely lead to infection! So, was this a male

zombie ? Male zombies know how to have harems? Or was he the one who spread the plague?
"No! We have to report this to the Knight Commander! Let's go! Hey!" The adjutant turned his head, immediately

feeling helpless.
The young knight sat on the ground, laying the mature female zombie flat in his arms, sometimes peeking

inside , sometimes kneading her breasts, squeezing her all over, unwilling to let go at all; it looked like

he was about to personally mount her.
"Alright, if you make it back alive this time, I'll take you to a brothel. Damn it, you're so pathetic." The lieutenant

grabbed the young knight by the collar and pulled him away. Just as he stepped out of the bathroom, a dark shadow flashed past his eyes again.
Unfortunately, this time, the lieutenant didn't dodge it.
The High Priestess galloped away on her horse. When she entered the square, the hundred-man squad left behind hadn't had time to

throw the white horse and the young priestess's corpse into the holy flames to dispose of them. Because the soldiers burning corpses had been starving for days, they

had finally seen a woman's body that they would never be infected by having sex with, even if her spine was broken in two and her body was strangely

twisted, she was still a beauty. So they used their rations of meat to bribe the knights to take the female corpse for themselves.
And so, when the High Priestess glared at the naked body of the girl lying in the square and the large patches of semen all over her body,

none of the knights dared to step forward to explain. Finally, the High Priestess suppressed her murderous rage, closed her eyes, and coldly

said , "Where is the Grand Knight?" A knight rushed forward, took out the military order left by their leader, and handed it to the High

Priestess.
The High Priestess took the order with surprise, opened it, and her expression gradually changed from murderous intent to

shock. This man... had he seen through everything?! The legendary

man who rose from squire to Grand Knight through battle merits was indeed extraordinary!
The High Priestess narrowed her eyes and pondered for a moment, "How long has your lieutenant and his men been gone?"It's been

...half a day...but he should have already broken through the tavern area; the first mark of the Holy Flame has been lit. "

At this time, the hundred knights left behind had already assembled and were lined up in the square.
The High Priest remained silent for a long time, hesitating whether to cooperate with Cid's plan or do his own thing. He was in a desperate situation..."

The man's wisdom, strength, and ambition captivated many women at the highest levels of the Dawn Empire, while also posing

a significant threat to them. The High Priestess's superior was one of them. When she was assigned to assist Xide in eradicating the plague,

that man hinted to her that if given the opportunity, she could consider killing him. Now, in this

instant , the High Priestess felt a strong urge to do so.
"High Priestess," a knight standing nearby suddenly spoke, "The Grand Knight Commander's orders have already been conveyed

to us. Even without your order, our unit would proceed according to plan. However, I suddenly remembered a message

my superior requested I relay." "Speak," the High Priestess coldly stared at him.
The knight did not back down, but instead puffed out his chest, "I haven't had enough of that bitch yet!" The High Priestess froze,

her face instantly turning crimson, whether from humiliation or anger, it was unclear. But in the end, she bit her luscious lips and ordered, "

Move out!" "Lieutenant, Lieutenant, how are you?" The lieutenant opened his eyes and saw the young knight's face.
"Where's your helmet! Why aren't you wearing it! Do you want to die?!" The lieutenant's head was throbbing with pain. He struggled to

get up, but what he saw next horrified him so much that he forgot his headache. All
he could see was the young knight's face, and below the neck was some kind of monstrous organ formed from solidified flesh

. It was like a giant, fleshy slime, with a tentacle extending from its meat-paste-like body, and a face stuck to that

tentacle .
"Bastard! Bastard! Damn it!" the lieutenant roared, but his armor and weapons had been removed, and

his hands and feet were bound by something resembling the fleshy tentacles, rendering him powerless.
"Lieutenant, Lieutenant, how are you?" the young knight continued, "Damn it, where is this

place , you bastard! What is this thing! Lieutenant! Can you hear me! Get away! I'll hold him off! Die, you

disgusting thing! Ahh! Ahh! Lieutenant, run! Ahh! Ahh!..." Then the face began to

realistically mimic the sounds of chewing a human body and screaming.
"Bastard! Bastard! Bastard!" the lieutenant roared, his veins bulging.
"Alright, stop playing around with Raphael." A stunningly beautiful person emerged from the darkness, with full breasts on its

upper body and a more feminine face, but with a male phallus and a female vulva on its lower body—

in short, a futa.
Although the lieutenant was also a lecherous knight, at this moment he was filled with nothing but rage, "You bastard! I

'll bite you to death! I'll bite you to death!" "Lieutenant, Lieutenant, how are you?" The fleshy ball continued to play.
Futa seemed to sigh at the noise from the two of them, and said, "Excuse me, my name is Yin.

I am a bard. I invited you and your friend here because I need your help with something, but my brother is too hungry

. I apologize for that." Ignoring the adjutant's terrifyingly bulging muscles, Yin pressed closer,

reaching out to stroke his bronze skin, from his strong chest muscles all the way down to his genitals. "Fantastic, fantastic, your

life force, come, merge with me." "Ahhh! Ughhhh!" The adjutant roared like a wild beast

. The tentacles binding his hands and feet pierced his skin and bones, connecting his blood vessels. A large amount of foreign

pheromones injected, and the adjutant lost his ability to think. His whole body was convulsing, his muscles were taut to

the limit, almost bursting out from under his skin, and his penis swelled up like a literal cannon. Compared to Yin's slender

hands, it looked like a venomous dragon.
"This...this big, ooh, mmm, ah..." Silver gasped as she sat down on the adjutant's penis,

kneading her breasts while twisting her hips in the act. "Come on! Come on! Give it to me!

The essence !" "Adjutant, adjutant, how are you?" Raphael continued to play around, manipulating its face

to look at the adjutant and then at Silver, before extending a hand and inserting it into the adjutant's prostate.
"Roar!" The adjutant roared as he ejaculated.
"Ah! Raphael, you bastard! Ooh! Ah!" The adjutant's ejaculation felt like molten lava surging within him, lasting

a full three minutes. Silver's lower abdomen swelled visibly, almost like a pregnant woman's, and the semen from their

point of contact overflowed like spilled milk. Raphael immediately leaned in and caught it with its mouth.
Silver sat panting on his adjutant, ejaculating repeatedly. His fluids almost smeared the adjutant's face, whose

mouth was open and unresponsive. He was dead. Gradually, his muscular, bronze-like skin began to turn

a deep bluish-black.
"Adjutant, adjutant, what's wrong?" Raphael circled the adjutant's body.
"Heh, well done. This man is the first to successfully transform into a knight. Worthy of celebration."

Silver stood up, semen gushing from his lower body like a waterfall, each step accompanied by a lewd, splattering sound.
Raphael followed behind, licking up the dripping liquid, leaving the adjutant alone in the darkness
