Video game consoles are addictive all over the world. These devices are constantly evolving, with new features appearing every day.
But have you ever thought about what would happen if one day the situation were reversed, and video game consoles became the manipulators of humanity, enslaving humans?
This isn't too far in the future...
In Paris, there was a huge arcade called "Madman," where hundreds of people played every day. One day, for unknown reasons, a section of the building suddenly collapsed, killing dozens of people. The city government ordered it closed to investigate the cause. It was not allowed to reopen until the truth was clarified.
Next door to the "Madman Arcade" lived a young driver named Fu Qiang. He used to be a regular customer of the arcade, and every day after get off work he would go there with his girlfriend, Meimei, to play for an hour or two. After "Madman" closed, although he could go to another arcade, he never felt as comfortable as he used to be at "Madman." Even more strangely, after the collapse of "Madman," one night, Fu Qiang vaguely heard laughter and the sounds of people playing video games next door.
This greatly surprised him. He got up to listen, but the sound was gone. He went back to sleep, but the sound started again. This continued all night.
The next day, he told his girlfriend about the strange incident. Meimei, always eager to find something to do, suggested, "Tonight, let's go outside and eavesdrop. Maybe someone's breaking the rules and playing around inside." That night, when the streets were quiet, the two tiptoed to the collapsed part of the "Madman's" back seat and lay prone on the ground, listening intently. Sure enough, they heard the sounds of many people playing inside. They exchanged a glance, confirming that they had both heard the sounds; it wasn't either of them imagining things.
"Let's climb in and take a look," Fu Qiang said, pointing to a hole exposed in the collapsed section.
Meimei hesitated for a moment.
"Are you scared?" Fu Qiang asked. "With me here, what are you afraid of?" Fu Qiang was physically strong, something Mei Mei was always proud of. She glanced at his broad chest and said, "Okay, let's go." So Fu Qiang went first, Mei Mei followed, and they crawled over the "Danger" wooden sign and into the "Madman's Game Hall" through the hole.
When they entered the undisturbed part of the "Madman's Game Hall," they saw that all the game machines were lit up, waiting for people to play, just like when the hall was open for business on a normal day.
"I just heard voices, there must be people playing. Maybe they're on the next floor," Fu Qiang said, taking Mei Mei's hand and walking down to the ground floor.
The Madman's Game Hall has three floors. The top floor is the easiest, the middle floor is more difficult, and the underground floor is the most difficult. Fu Qiang usually likes to play on the underground floor.
As I descended the stone steps, I saw a similar situation: the screens on all the arcade machines were constantly changing, trying to attract people's attention. But I didn't see any customers playing them.

Meimei walked over, feigning annoyance, and pounded Fu Qiang's chest with her small fists. Fu Qiang's soul, still inside the video game console, groaned in agony. He cried out, "Meimei, don't be fooled! That's a devil, not me..."
But his voice is inaudible to the eyebrow; only the devil can hear him.
After a while, Meimei's temper subsided, and she said to the "Black Forest" game machine, "I haven't played this before, let me try it."
She threw a piece into the machine, and it immediately started moving. Fu Qiang felt himself sliding along with the machine involuntarily and shouted, "Meimei, don't mess around, don't start the machine..." But Meimei couldn't hear him; she was playing with great interest.
Fu Qiang began to enter a completely unfamiliar place, a large forest full of trees with distinct, man-made paths running through it.
Suddenly, a lion with its claws outstretched lunged at him. Fu Qiang was terrified and ran for his life. He turned into a crossroads on the left, but the lion ran off towards the straight road.
Fu Qiang breathed a sigh of relief, thinking to himself, "Thank goodness." Before he could finish speaking, a gorilla jumped down from the tree and landed in front of him. This gorilla was three or four times larger than him, and its face had a ferocious expression.
Fu Qiang was about to escape again when he looked up and saw Mei Mei playing the game machine with great enthusiasm and complete concentration. She smiled brightly at Fu Qiang's embarrassing escape.
Fu Qiang cursed inwardly. He wanted to tell Mei Mei to stop this deadly machine, but it was no use. If they hesitated even a moment longer, the gorilla would open its mouth and swallow him whole.
He kept running forward, turned a corner, and saw a river ahead. He jumped into the river. The gorilla stopped chasing him, but it startled the crocodiles in the river, and they emerged from the water in groups.
"My God!" Fu Qiang swam desperately and crossed to the other side. He was just a hair's breadth away from having his legs bitten off by the crocodile.
He heard Meimei giggling happily... that silver bell-like laughter that he usually found adorable.
Hearing Meimei's laughter now filled him with both anger and anxiety.

眼看他就要被斑豹捕食之際，忽然一條繩網自天而降，落在他的面前，傅強在危急之下，那管是什麼，一把抓住，那繩網向天飛起，剛剛躲過大班豹的血爪！
他落在遠遠一棵樹上，暗自慶幸，這繩網不知是誰拋下來搭救？轉念一想，不覺苦笑，原來這繩網本是遊戲機內的設備，在最危急時，一按掣鈕，就可使用這繩網打救，那麼自然是眉眉按掣救了他了。但她只能使用此法三次，三次之後，神仙也無能為力。
那遊戲仍在繼續，很快地，傅強被一種無形的力量從樹上推跌下來，又跑在路上。他感到一種深沈的悲哀，明知自己的前途是死路一條，但仍得拚命奔逃，他的命運不受自己的指揮，而是控制在別人手上。那玩遊戲的人如果拙劣，他死得更快；如果敏捷，他會死得慢一點．但最終還是要死的。
平日他自己玩電子遊戲機的時候，只覺得率性痛快，絕不想到一旦成為「當局者」，竟會如此痛苦。
眉眉正展露天真笑臉，按掣令他飛快地穿過森林地區的各處通道，又一次遭到獅子、老虎、鱷魚，猩猩的追襲，在千鈞一髮之際，又是靠飛來的繩網把他救起。
完了，傅強心想。還有一次機會。
第三次，他再在森林中飛奔，有一隻山豬追過來，突然，地面不動了，那山豬也停在「作勢欲撲」的位置上。
原來有人按停了遊戲機，是站在眉眉旁邊的那個魔鬼。
眉眉不知那是魔鬼，以為他是傅強，嗔道：「人家正玩得高興，你又來搗亂！」
魔鬼不答她的話，卻對被困在遊戲機內的傅強道：「我說過給你一次公平的機會，現在機會已來了……不是有人正在玩這電子遊戲機嗎？你比我幸運得多，我等了六七天，你只等了一二分鐘。」
眉眉望著魔鬼的嘴型，聽不見他說什麼，在他肩上拍了一下道：「喂，你在對誰說話？」
魔鬼不理她，仍然對傅強道：「一會兒我把全場燈光弄熄，你便可以擺脫遊戲機的束縛，向這女人的鼻孔跳進去，其他的事你就不必管了。這樣她就變成了你，你變成了她，懂嗎？」
傳強懂了一半，不懂另一半：「你要我借用眉眉的軀殼，那怎麼行？她是女人，我是男人！再說，眉眉的軀殼給我借用了，她又怎樣？」
「她會被困在遊戲機?，像妳現在一樣。」魔鬼慢條斯理地說。
「不行，絕對不行，我怎忍心讓眉眉永遠困在這?……除非她也可以跳在別人身上，取代那個人的身體。」
「那……也未嘗不可以。」魔鬼道：「但我對這女人沒有義務，我不會在這?白白等待廿四小時，最多半小時好了。在半小時內，等不到別人來做替身，我就要跑了。」
「半小時？也好，讓我出去想想辦法。」傅強的思緒十分混亂，但是他極力令自己冷靜下來，心道：「如果我不出去，眉眉永遠不知內情，那時絕沒有人來救我，眉眉也會落入魔鬼的掌握而不自知；假使我出去了，還有半小時的機會可把眉眉救出生天，然後我們再一同想辦法對付魔鬼。」
於是說道：「好，我答應了，讓我出去吧。」
魔鬼道：「好吧，你準備好！」
他話一說完，全場的燈光就熄了。傅強立刻覺得身上壓力消除，輕鬆不少。由於他只是一個靈魂，在黑暗?也能視物，一清二楚。他看準眉眉的鼻孔，使勁跳去，便進了她的軀殼。魔鬼早已做了手腳，把眉眉的靈魂拔出，傅強很順利便和她的軀殼合而為一
他變成了眉眉。
眉眉的靈魂則進入電子遊戲機中。
在這時候，傅強充分了解眉眉的心情，可惜他說話，眉眉聽不見；只能通過魔鬼向她表達，勸她暫時忍受，讓他到外面去找尋一個「替身」。
他匆匆走出遊戲廳，到了街上。由於他變成一個女人，連走路的方式也受生理影響，和以前不同，令他非常不習慣。
夜已深，街上行人甚少。過了一會，才有一男一女走過，大概是一對情侶，傅強遊說他們到下面遊戲廳去玩耍，但那對男女搖頭笑笑，走開了。
接著又有另兩個男子先後走過，傅強去拉他們，被誤會為妓女，反而被申斥了一頓。
時間很快度過二十分鐘，傅強急得要命。這時有一個大漢走來，似乎喝過酒，傅強料想叫人去玩遊戲機吸引不大，索性擺出女性的特點，向他飛個媚眼，伸手過去拉他。
那醉漢對「她」感興趣了，停下腳步。把她緊緊抱住，不問情由，便在她臉上狂吻。傅強討厭極了，卻不敢反抗。只拉著他向遊戲廳的洞口處走去。
那知醉漢見地方幽靜，忽然用起蠻來．把她推倒在地上，撕裂她的衣裳，要將她強姦。
要是傅強平時的氣力，那大漢休想近得她的身，然而，她現在變成了一個女人。
傅強已變為女兒身，連力氣也小了，竟無法擺脫那大漢的糾纏。本來她想說，只要大漢肯跟她進入那遊戲廳去，她便任他為所欲為。誰知那大漢多喝了酒，忽然用起蠻來，在她臉上打了一拳，把她打得昏了過去。
等到傅強悠悠醒轉時，赫然發現自己躺在一條黝黑的橫巷內，下裳被撕破，那大漢對她施了強暴。這令她啼笑皆非，想不到第一次做女人，就遇到這種橫逆的事情。
她頭上脹疼欲裂，猛然想起困在遊戲機內的眉眉，叫道：「糟糕，現在是什麼時候了？」一看腕表，已比需要趕回去的時間遲了十五分鐘。
她顧不得全身疼痛，爬起身來，一跛一拐的回到那遊戲廳的地下室去。心?祈禱那魔鬼不要走開。一眼望去，那魔鬼仍站在遊戲機前，傅強叫了一聲「謝天謝地」。
「你沒有找到替身？」魔鬼問。
「還沒有，我已g盡力而為，請再給我一點時間……」傅強道。
「不用了，你瞧。」魔鬼指著遊戲機上站立的一隻老鼠。這隻老鼠什麼時候站在那?的，傅強並沒留意。
「老鼠？」
「是的，這是剛才唯一在這?經過的生物，我見你不回來，已把那女人的靈魂放進這老鼠的身體內了……」
「什麼？」傅強驚叫起來：「你說眉眉的靈魂已進入這老鼠身上？」
「是的，不信你問問牠。」
傅強向那老鼠道：「妳是眉眉。」
那老鼠吱吱叫了雨聲，點點頭。
傅強心情激動，抓著那魔鬼道：「不行，你快把她變回一個人，否則我和你拚命！」
魔鬼臉孔木然，冷冷地道：「我所能幫你的已盡於此，你聽過世間上有魔鬼熱心助人的事嗎？我幫你兩次，已大大打破成規，對不起，我要走了。」
他把手一甩，便有一股巨大的力量把傅強震開，轉身向屋外緩步走出。
「你到哪?去？」傅強絕望地叫道。
「我已變成一個人，便要去好好享受一下。五百年前，我是個窮光蛋，受盡生活煎熬，鬱鬱而終，現在我要補償一番。」
「你把我也帶去！」傅張道。
「你要跟著我？」魔鬼十分奇異。
事實傅強心中盤算，要救出眉眉，總得依賴這魔鬼，解鈴還需繫鈴人，假使讓他跑掉，人海茫茫，將來到哪?去找他？再說，這魔鬼定會為禍人間，不如跟著他，看定機會把他毀滅。就算不能成功，賠上性命也是活該的，誰叫自己胡鬧，闖入這廢屋中把魔鬼引出來呢？現在眉眉變成一隻老鼠，他已萬念俱灰，也不想活了。
於是對魔鬼道：「我也想享受生活，讓我做你的跟班，也可沾點光。我知道你神通廣大，一定很有辦法的。」
俗語說，千穿萬穿，馬屁不穿。魔鬼也喜歡聽人奉承，臉上頓時露出微笑，道：「你真想做我的跟班……」
「是的，你離開人世五百年，很多事情已不熱悉，有我在你身邊，也會便利一點。」傅強接口說。
「好吧，就讓你跟著我幾天，先看你聽不聽話，料你也不敢反叛我。」
傅強連聲多謝，在牆角處拾起一個廢棄的紙盒，把那老鼠放進其中，低聲道：「眉眉，耐心點。」
眉眉能聽見他的話，但不能說話，只吱吱地回答一聲。
魔鬼走出大街，對面前的景色感到茫然。這個世界和他以前認識的世界相差太遠。
「你準備到哪?去？」傅強跟在他身邊問。
「我想知道，誰是這?最富有的人？」
「你的意思是……」
「不瞞你說，現在誰要一握我的手，我的靈魂可以立刻跳在他身上，取他的地位而代之。我想找一個真正的富翁，讓我活在他的身上，勝過做你這個窮小子。」
傅強吐吐舌：「難道你可以一再變下去，想變誰就是誰？」
「不，只在七七四十九天內有這個本領，過了四十九天，我就得安安分分的做人，不能再離開所附著的那個人的軀殼。所以這幾十天是我最重要的日子，必定要找一個適當的對象，作為我永久的身體。」
「那麼，將來請你把我的身體還給我。」傅強道。
「不可以，別人的靈魂我只能幫他進入另一個人的身體一次，你已做了這個女人，以後就是這個女人，永遠不能再變。」
傅強十分失望。
「告訴我，誰是這?最富有的人？」魔鬼又問。
「這……」傅強想，應當告訴他一個壞蛋富翁的名字，就算給他害死了，也不值得惋惜，便道：「雷三江是這?的俱樂部大王，我想他是最富有的人。」
「帶我去見他。」魔鬼道。
傅強其實毫無把握，不知道在什麼地方可以找到雷三江。只知道有一家彩虹俱樂部，豪華絕倫，專供富人享樂，他料想他也許在那?。
這時已深夜，他們等了很久，才等到一輛計程車經過，傅強招手截住，二人登車，吩咐開到彩虹俱樂部。
二十分鐘後，車子到了彩虹俱樂部。
守門人是一個高大的阿拉伯漢子。他不讓傅強和魔鬼進去，索看他們的會員證。
魔鬼走上兩步，一巴打在他的臉上，頓時現出一個青籃的印子。被打的部分像是受了燒炙一般，隱隱冒著煙。
阿拉伯人一手掩著臉，想是十分疼痛，用畏怯的眼光望著魔鬼。這時從魔鬼眼中同時射出一道青藍色的光，像電一般直射入他的心底，令他震撼，他退後兩步，不敢再出言攔阻了。
魔鬼和傅強走入屋內，?面陳設華麗，雖是深夜，仍然充滿熱鬧氣氛，一些富翁在玩樸克、玩輪盤，一些富翁在打桌球，另一些在飲酒聊天。不論任何一個場合，都少不了有穿著十分性感的女侍應陪伴著。魔鬼對這種場面，似乎甚感興趣，到處留神觀看。最後他和傅強在酒吧間坐下來。一個侍者上來招呼，魔鬼道：「我要找雷三江，請他見面。」
「這……」侍者遲疑道：「他沒有來。」
「我有很好的消息告訴他，可以令他發大大的財，比現在已有的多三倍。」
侍者猶自推搪，魔鬼兩眼注視著他，神色如冰。侍者莫名其妙地全身顫慄了一下，低頭說道：「雷先生已經來了，我去叫他去。」
片刻過後，他把一個矮矮胖胖、方臉大耳、蓄著小鬍子的男人帶來，指著魔鬼道：「就是這位先生要見你。」
雷三江向魔鬼打量了兩眼，世故地笑道：「我們並不認識。」
「你自然不認識我。我有一個發大財的消息要告訴雷三江先生，除了他之外，別的人我不會說。」
「我就是雷三江。」
魔鬼向他看了一眼，道：「不錯，不錯。」
雷三江不知這年輕人口中說的「不錯」是什麼意思，但見他的目光具有鑑賞和評定的味道。然後他伸出手來道：「幸會幸會。」
雷三江不喜歡這個人，但他處世一向圓滑，對任何人不願得罪，便也伸手過去和他握著。
想不到這一握鑄成大錯。
只覺對方的手像有一種磁力，使他不能分離。突然燈光熄滅，雷三江感到有股力量把「他」從自己身體內拉出來……他的靈魂出了竅。
一瞬間，雷三江的靈魂已和魔鬼的靈魂互相調換了一個位置。當燈光再亮時，雷三江變了那個年輕人，魔鬼卻變了雷三江。
雷三江起初尚以為這是個惡夢，及至定下神來，發覺事實並沒有改變，他自己竟然變成另一個人。
「這是怎麼回事？」他失聲叫道：「為什麼我會變成這樣子？」
那侍者更不明白，因為雷三江連聲音也變了。他只是呆呆地望著他。
雷三江暴跳如雷道：「拿鏡子給我，拿鏡子給我！」
侍者把一面鏡子遞給他，雷三江一照，嚇了一跳，大叫道：「這是妖術，快把這人擒牢，他騙了我的身體！」
可是那侍者呆立不動，他根本不知道雷三江說的話是什麼意思，覺得他像一個瘋子。他向那個冒牌的雷三江請示，應當怎樣對付這個瘋子。
雷三江氣得一腳踢在那侍者身上：「蠢材，我才是雷三江，這人是個術士，霸佔用了我的身體；你連這一點都看不出來？」
那侍者光火了，反手給他一拳道：「好小子，你居然敢打我，這是什麼地方，可容你胡言亂語！」
二人扭作一團廝打，你一拳，我一腳；魔鬼在旁邊竊笑。
不久，二人都打得面青唇腫，魔鬼叫道：「不要打了，把他趕出去！」
旁邊幾名看熱鬧的侍者，聞聲上前，合力把雷三江制服，把他一直推出大門之外。
可憐那雷三江仍聲聲大叫：「我才是真的雷三江，你們這批蠢材，怎可以把外人當作是我……」
可是有誰會聽他的？人人都把他當是瘋子，跑到彩虹俱樂部來撒賴。
侍者們把他驅逐後，又指著傅強向魔鬼道：「這個女人應當怎麼辦，要不要也……」
魔鬼道：「不用，這個女的很好，留下她在這?辦事。」
侍者們嘻嘻一笑，暗想：「把漂亮女人留下來，一向是這俱樂部的老闆雷三江的習慣，我們這一問顯得多餘了。」
於是魔鬼順理成章地成了俱樂部的老闆。但他前生是個粗人，大字識不了幾個，對做生意更是一竅不通，說話動不動就露馬腳，一切全賴傅強替他掩飾。
雷三江本是酒色之徒，魔鬼既代入他的身體，立即也受到他的生理條件所感應，對俱樂部內的女人都色迷迷地望著。
傅強對他道：「這?的美女都是知情識趣的，你是老闆，只要喜歡……」
魔鬼照他所說，挑選了三個漂亮娃兒，進入一個陳設華麗的客房中，不久便傳出一片嬉笑之聲。
傅強的目的是支開魔鬼，立即跑出門外，去追那真正的雷三江。見他正在和一個汽車司機吵鬧，原來他想乘坐他自己的車子回家，那司機也不肯載他，氣得他發抖。
傅強跑上前去，拍拍他的肩頭，把他拉到一旁，對他說：「你不用著急，要聽我的話。」於是把他怎樣被魔鬼變成女人的經過細細對他說明。雷三江聽說他的遭遇和自己的一樣，心?稍安。
傅強對雷三江道：「現在你必須耐心等待，七七四十九天過後，魔鬼就不能脫離他所附的軀殼。那時我們才合力把他弄死，永遠除去這禍害。」
雷三江對傅強連聲稱謝。在這世間上沒有人再認識雷三江的身分，只有傅強一人能證明他就是雷三江。他對傅強的感激真是難以言喻。
「如果你能助我把魔鬼除去，又恢復我原來身分，我願以一百萬法郎酬謝你。」雷三江道。
「你放心，我的女朋友也被他害得不生不死，我一定要報仇。」傅強道。
雷三江接受傅強的勸告，連家?也不回去，因為他的太太和女兒也決不認識他，以為他是「白撞」。
卻說魔鬼取代了雷三江的位置後，每日與富人為伍，吃喝的是美酒佳餚，晚晚有美女同眠，心滿意足。
他任命傅強為總經理，管理雷三江的一切財產。由於魔鬼對現代財務知識一竅不通，傅強大權在握，逐漸把雷三江原有的親信人物辭退，另外起用自己的心腹。
他模仿雷三江的簽名，逐漸把雷三江手上的財產轉移到他的私人戶口或一家「眉眉控股公司」手上。眉眉就是他現在的身分。
這一切，把魔鬼全蒙在鼓?。表面上，他對魔鬼千依百順，為了徹底取得他的信任，他甚至使出女性的手段，把「她」自己委身於他。
七七四十九天終於過去了，魔鬼的靈魂已經定型在雷三江的軀殼中。他的魔鬼的特質逐漸消失，而成為與一般人無異的人。
真正的雷三江常常打電話與傅強聯絡，問什麼時候可以下手把魔鬼毀滅，他已買了一柄手槍，只待時機下手。
一天晚上，傅強通知雷三江，已到行事的時候了。
深夜十一時許，傅強開了後門，讓雷三江進來。
雷三江一直闖進魔鬼的寢室，魔鬼正在與幾個美女尋歡作樂，一見雷三江為之愕然。
