Happiness is what you gave me.

The National Day holiday is a great time to travel, but due to family matters, I couldn't go out. On the evening of the 1st, I was drinking tea and watching the news when my sister called, asking what I was doing and if I had time to go see a movie. Having nothing else to do, I readily agreed. So I booked three movie tickets. When I got to the cinema, I thought the movie wouldn't be very good, and I thought it wouldn't be crowded. But it was surprisingly packed. The movie's title seemed to be "Silent Witness." There was a scene where the protagonist cheated on someone else's wife, and the other person retaliated. When that scene played, I didn't say anything. My brother was still looking down at his phone, and I held my sister's hand; she was still staring straight ahead. I didn't know what they were thinking. I felt like crying. My fingers were secretly twirling in my sister's hand. It wasn't until the end that I learned it wasn't a cheating scene, but rather a fabrication by the protagonist to protect his daughter. After leaving the cinema, my brother went to get the car, and I asked my sister why she hadn't reacted to that scene. She countered with, "What kind of reaction did you expect?" I was speechless. After getting in the car, I timidly asked my older brother what he wanted to eat, and he said anything was fine. So I suggested a place. We went to eat together. After we sat down, I let my brother and sister order while I went to the restroom. My brother followed behind, and suddenly he tapped my head, asking why I was being so well-behaved today. I said, "I was afraid you'd get angry over that movie." My brother said, "Do I look like someone who's angry? Even if the movie is all about being cuckolded, so what? I don't care. What are you afraid of? As long as the three of us are happy, why bother about other people's thoughts and opinions? The three of us are happy and joyful together, aren't we?" I thought about it and realized he was right. I chuckled. After we finished eating, my brother suggested we find a room since the kids were home, and I nodded. But to my dismay, after searching for over an hour, we still couldn't find one. My brother and sister knew my place wasn't convenient, so they didn't say anything. Since it was still early, my brother suggested we go check out the World Horticultural Exposition. I nodded. Walking on the quiet grass, my sister held onto someone's arm with each hand, while my older brother and I smoked. The night was quiet, the moonlight beautiful. A cool breeze blew, and I put my coat on my sister. She glanced at me occasionally, then at my brother. We walked for about half an hour. Back in the car, my sister sat in the back, hugging me tightly, saying, "Honey, I'm cold." I hugged her, my hands becoming restless, and kissed her. My hands moved up and down... (To be continued)
