My wife turned off her phone (Part 2)

As the city lights began to twinkle, I was in the kitchen preparing my wife's favorite shrimp pizza for her date with a single man that evening. The rich aroma of cheese seemed to be stimulating my senses as well.
This afternoon, after returning to Shanghai from Hangzhou, we arranged to have afternoon tea with a client. We smoothly reached an initial business agreement. The client offered to treat us to dinner, but I politely declined, as I didn't want to waste too much time on dinner. Another reason was that the single man had been texting his wife all afternoon, including on our way back to Shanghai. Plus, his wife said she was a bit tired and wanted to have dinner early, rest a bit, and then go on her date with the single man.
My wife has finished the pizza I made and is now fast asleep in our big, comfortable bed. Before long, she's drifting off to sleep. Just then, her phone received another message from that single guy: "10 PM, XXX bar, I've got some drinks and I'll be waiting for you!" I casually replied, "OK, but don't drink too much, I'm worried you might drink too much and then..." To my surprise, the single guy immediately replied, "I'm the more I drink, the better!"
Even though it was 11 pm in Shanghai, the traffic was still heavy, and the crowds in Xintiandi were no less than during the day! My wife had slept so soundly that I hadn't woken her, even though the single man had been texting her constantly after 10 pm to ask if she had left. Around 10:40 pm, he probably lost his patience and called her cell phone, finally waking her. Seeing how late it was, she could only tell him she was already out and hurriedly got dressed. Since she had done her makeup before bed, she only needed a little touch-up, and then I drove her to the bar in Xintiandi.
After my wife got out of the car, she urged me to go home quickly. She then took out her phone and dialed the number of that single man. I pretended to leave, and as soon as the car turned a corner, I immediately parked it on the side of the road, got out, and walked back. Because the weather had gotten cooler, and my wife's clothing was excessively thin and sexy, she was probably a little cold. So, when I passed the corner, I saw that single man with his arm around my wife's waist as they walked out of a convenience store and even jogged towards a bar!
