The clock at home was already pointing to 4:35, but I wasn't sleepy at all. I don't know how I got through those two hours! My wife told me before she left that since it was her first time going to a hotel with this single man, she would come home as soon as she was done. She also said she would call me as soon as she got into a taxi. But why haven't I heard a single word? Could something have happened? Could my wife have forgotten our agreement? Could that single man be preventing her from leaving? Could it be...? All these thoughts rushed to my head like a torrent, and without thinking, I picked up the phone and dialed my wife's number.
The phone rang for a long time, but my wife didn't answer. Just as I was about to hang up, she picked up. Her calm voice came through the receiver: "Honey, don't rush, I'll be home when I'm done." Oh, she's not done yet? A wave of bitterness washed over me: "Could she be playing that much? How much longer?" My wife: "Two." "Two? What do you mean? 20 minutes?" Before I could finish my question, my wife had already hung up on me again.
Okay, 20 minutes it is, not too long! I comforted myself with wishful thinking, and then practically counted down the seconds until the longest 20 minutes in the world. However, my wife still didn't call! Sigh, she's not that punctual; she's having sex with someone else, not timing me! I continued to comfort myself. Give her a little more time; after all, my wife has never broken her promise to me.
But 5 minutes, 10 minutes, even the second 20 minutes passed, and I still hadn't received the call I was so eagerly waiting for. I couldn't wait any longer and picked up the phone again to dial my wife's number.
This time, my wife answered the phone surprisingly quickly. It rang less than three times before she picked it up. I habitually said "Hello," but to my surprise, she responded in an extremely agitated, even rude, tone, saying, "Hello what? What the hell are you talking about?!" Then, instead of speaking into the receiver, she adopted a seductive and flirtatious tone towards her new sexual partner, saying, "Come on, don't stop, thrust upwards harder! I'm sending a text message and then I'll turn off my phone!"
At this point, no matter how loudly I called out "hello," it was all in vain. All I could hear from the receiver was my wife pressing text buttons, her lewd moans, and the single man's heavy breathing! Before I could even react, the call was disconnected again! Then a text message from my wife arrived: "He's too effective. Don't bother him anymore. He'll come home naturally after this!"
When I dialed my wife's number again after reading the text message, I heard, "The number you dialed is currently switched off. Please try again later!"
