Seeking guidance from older brothers and sisters.

I've been on 69 for a while now. I found this place by chance. I often read other people's blogs, experiences, and advice. But maybe because I'm a newbie... some people I've added and chatted with for a while... I introduced myself and even sent them my photos... when I asked them to look at the photos, they just said, "I'll decide whether to send them to you after my wife sees them." Maybe it's because we live a bit far apart and they felt it was inconvenient, so they used that excuse... It makes them feel like they have no sincerity at all... Even if we don't meet up, can't we at least exchange photos? Can't we chat a bit like friends in our free time?... Making people feel warm and sincere is the most basic thing, right? If it works out, it works out; if it doesn't, it doesn't... It doesn't really matter... Or is it that newbies aren't welcome?!?...
I'm from Guangzhou and just starting out in this circle. Could any experienced friends offer some guidance? Thank you so much, everyone!
