69 Four People (Original Work by a Young Woman) Part 1

A few years ago, I was invited to a small-scale guzheng performance at a private club. My performance was scheduled for the first segment. While my income isn't comparable to his, my salary is enough to cover our daily expenses, and occasionally there's a surplus, which I save as my secret stash. One day after get off work, I showered and changed, and was preparing dinner in the kitchen when my husband called. He said he was in Guangzhou for a meeting and I should eat dinner by myself. I was used to this kind of thing. Then he chuckled and said a friend was coming over later and he needed me to give him some cash. If we didn't have any at home, I could go to the bank. I playfully said, "Where would I get the money?" My husband mischievously replied, "Don't think I don't know you're secretly saving money on your own." ...It turns out that Du Zhong is my husband's classmate and colleague, a close friend at his company, practically a buddy coop, with a strong sense of camaraderie... Du Zhong is currently preparing for his wedding and bought an apartment in Overseas Chinese Town (Shenzhen property prices). He's short on cash and asked my husband for some time...
