Wu Ge messaged me privately on his QQ account saying he couldn't add me on QQ and needed to answer some questions. I replied a day later, because I wasn't a member, so I could only leave a message on his profile: "Please send this to my email." Wu Ge actually saw it and sent me an email. I opened the email and added Wu Ge. Because Wu Ge was using my sister-in-law's QQ account, I initially thought he was a woman. I'm rather introverted, so Wu Ge usually initiated contact to learn about my basic information. We chatted for about two weeks. Wu Ge asked for a photo, and I sent him a selfie. Because I was preparing for exams at the beginning of the semester, I was under a lot of pressure and had a lot of acne. I lacked confidence, and Wu Ge didn't say anything—just "Oh," and commented that I was a bit thin… Actually, I was working out at the time. We chatted for a few more weeks but didn't mention meeting up. Then we lost contact for about three months, and I thought I'd been filtered out. Until July of this year, when I started my internship, Wu Ge said he wanted to come visit and asked me to book a room in advance. I was lucky; Wu Ge remembered me. They drove to the city where I was interning, and I found them a quiet restaurant near my workplace. The Angkor family was very sincere, including the older brother, sister-in-law, and their elementary school-aged child. I contacted Angkor on QQ and we agreed that I would work during the day while they visited nearby attractions, and we would have activities in the evenings.
After work that day, I went to the restaurant where Angkor was staying to pick them up for dinner. We went to a small restaurant that served dishes, similar to a home-style eatery. When ordering, Angkor's family was very considerate of me, ordering inexpensive dishes. The total bill for the four of us was less than 200 baht. After dinner, we went shopping together.
