Today, I accidentally downloaded the Lizhi FM app and subscribed to a channel called "Yesterday's You, Today's Future." I listened to a recent program that said life is a long and continuous process of accumulation. I took the postgraduate entrance exam once during my senior year of college and failed. Perhaps I should have gone to work, but I didn't want to give up on the exam, didn't want all my previous efforts to be wasted. My final compromise was to work while preparing for the exam. Most people might say that if you work, you won't have the focus to study for the exam, and failing the exam is simply because you're not smart enough—if your IQ isn't high enough, it's understandable. If you're smart enough but still fail, it's because there are things in life you can't let go of. Since you can't let go, why not let nature take its course? I'm 21 now. Perhaps I should strive, study hard, do many, many things… but I'm restless. I should calm down and wait another five years before coming back here. Because a 21-year-old single man really can't offer a couple anything, even if it's just physical intimacy, it's just a waste of my life, a waste of time.
Life is a long and continuous process; accumulate and refine yourself.
