Karen Donasi, a clinical psychologist and head of the "Sex and Marital Adjustment" research program at Northwestern University's School of Medicine, believes that sex is no

For women, "Regular sex can increase estrogen levels." Karen emphasizes that this

Physical exercise can provide mental rest, thereby relieving psychological stress. Karen says, "Sex
can also be an effective way to reduce nervous tension." She believes that sex can help couples
overcome apathy, experience joy, intimacy, and relaxation.

illness.
