I looked up at the doorway with suspicion, and saw a tall, pretty girl pulling a rolling suitcase emerge from behind Xiao Chen. She wore a white down coat over a gray cashmere sweater, a long ruby pendant necklace dangling from her chest, and long, shoulder-length brown hair casually draped over her shoulders. She wore black skinny jeans and black leather high boots.
She was wearing sunglasses. She took them off, revealing her arched eyebrows and a pair of beautiful, expressive eyes. She smiled at me silently; who else could it be but Tan Rui?
I was stunned by Tan Rui's sudden appearance, my mouth agape, speechless for a long time. Seeing my dazed look, Xiao Chen smiled and turned to let Tan Rui in, then closed my office door.
