Sweat-drenched figures, intertwined groans, and unrestrained, tender passion.
Panting, Wang You opened her eyes and looked at the man diligently working in front of her. Unconsciously, she turned her head towards the window. The pink curtains swayed gently because the window was open.
She heard the man's rough roar in front of her, and finally she was free. She turned over, turning her back to Duan Yanqi, and stared blankly at the moving curtains.
"Wang'er..." Duan Yanqi sighed, then pulled Wang You into his arms.
The burning heat of his chest and the strong heartbeat behind her told her what they had just done.
"Duan Yanqi, what exactly do you want to do?" She wasn't completely numb.
Although she didn't want to see Mo Fantian and Mo Fanyu again, it didn't mean she had to remain imprisoned under Duan Yanqi's body indefinitely. His recent advances had become increasingly frequent, and she felt he seemed to be planning something.
"I don't understand what you mean." Duan Yanqi closed his eyes; how could he not know what she was asking?

She didn't tell Duan Yanqi at first, but kept suppressing her nausea.
"Wang'er, come, have some chicken soup." Duan Yanqi noticed that Wang You's complexion had been very poor these past few days, so he specially made ginseng chicken soup today.
As soon as Wang You smelled that odor, a feeling of nausea immediately welled up in her throat. She tried to hold it in, but her stomach felt like it was churning.
"How could you..."
Before Duan Yanqi could finish speaking, Wang You pushed him away and rushed to the bathroom. She leaned against the glass sink, repeatedly gagging. But she had vomited countless times; there was nothing left to vomit.

He picked Wangyou up and carried her into the room. He laid her on the bed and covered her with a blanket.
Duan Yanqi immediately called the doctor and asked them to come over right away.
Wang You was completely exhausted and genuinely felt unwell, so it would be good to see a doctor.
The doctor arrived and began to carefully examine Wangyou.

Wang You, however, looked at the doctor in a daze, as if she had received terrible news.
"You said... I'm pregnant?" Did she hear me wrong? How could that be... impossible!
"Nausea and vomiting are early symptoms of pregnancy. If you still can't believe it, a thorough examination can confirm it," the doctor reported dutifully.
The only thing Wang You could hear in her mind was that she was pregnant.
She had Duan Yanqi's child, and she had Ruofeng's father's child!
How could this be? How could this be? Is it because of their frenzied sexual activity these past few days? Is it because of Duan Yanqi's almost nightly demands these past few days?
She closed her eyes, and all she heard was Duan Yanqi instructing the doctor to move all the medical equipment into the next room. She also heard the doctor telling Duan Yanqi that she needed to be careful about something.
Finally, the doctor left. Finally, only she and Duan Yanqi remained in the room.
"Wang'er, you're pregnant. You're carrying my child."

Wang You stared blankly at the man in front of her who was overjoyed. He seemed not surprised at all, but rather looked forward to it.

Upon hearing his words, she forcefully pulled her hand back, and for a moment she even wanted to burst out laughing.
"Marry you? Have your children? Duan Yanqi! You're dreaming!" She would never marry him, much less have his children!
All she wanted was to marry someone she loved and have children with that person!
Wang You's words made Duan Yanqi's eyes darken slightly, but he eventually smiled again.
