It's been a long time since I've been in touch with friends from 69 Paradise. I often read their posts on the high-speed train during business trips, which brings back many memories. This time, I was driving from Putian to Wujiang, Suzhou. It was late at night, my friend was driving, and I was in the back playing on my phone. A WeChat notification popped up, inviting me to join. They didn't reply immediately, and I didn't ask any further questions.
As the car drove through the night, my thoughts seemed to ignite, but I quickly returned to normal. I closed my eyes, put on my headphones, and listened to Shinji Tanimura's songs.
My phone beeped again with a message. I opened it and saw a long message. The woman said her friend, who was also her childhood friend, had introduced me. We had met many years ago, and she said I was very outgoing. She was hesitant. Her husband had been arrested for three years for financial problems and suspected her of infidelity. In reality, she hadn't; she had only been raped several times by her boss. She was increasingly upset. Even after her husband's release, he often beat her while she showered, demanding details of her alleged infidelity. She couldn't bear it anymore. After a deep conversation with her childhood friend, the friend suggested she have a real one for her husband. Perhaps that would make him feel better.
She had thought it through carefully before adding me on WeChat. She had just been beaten by her husband and couldn't take it anymore. She finally revealed her idea, and her husband was very pleased. He added me, and I quickly accepted. She asked where I was. I said I was on my way to Suzhou. She asked if I could come to Changzhou. She said it wouldn't cost me anything, and they had a car. It was just the three of us driving to a forest park for half a day to experience it. She cautioned me that we might not actually have sex; it was just an experiment. If I hadn't agreed, that would have been fine. It might have disappointed me.
I agreed. I arrived in Suzhou. I stayed in Wujiang. Before going to sleep, I asked her to send me her location and confirm the time. I drove there. We agreed to meet at a parking lot in a national forest park. We drove there separately. When I arrived at the parking lot, I rolled down my window, lit a cigarette, and waited quietly. About an hour later, she texted me: "Arrived." License plate: Su uXXXXX
