Feelings after the first time swapping rooms

My first impression of the couple was very good, which led to a second meeting. The feeling was just as good, especially with the older woman; I really liked her. We mostly communicated on QQ. Women are emotional; they need some kind of connection to get involved in sex. Perhaps the younger man isn't very good at communicating, so there was a constant sense of unfamiliarity.
On our third meeting, after watching a movie, we naturally went to a hotel. But how should I put it? The older woman and her husband communicated very well, but me? I felt unprepared. The whole process was, frankly, terrible! I couldn't get involved, and the younger man was constantly distracted by the older woman. We finished quickly, and watching the older woman and her husband's engagement left me with mixed feelings.
On the way home, I inexplicably snapped at my husband, but I can't describe how I felt! However, I'm truly grateful for my husband's understanding and consideration. Communication is so important! The point of this is to experience different sensations and the excitement within the mundane, not just physical pleasure. We need to experience and explore this path slowly. At the same time, I feel my husband's love for me more and more deeply—that's wonderful!
Later, my husband added that the most important reason for doing this is that the four of us can communicate and connect emotionally. Over time, this allows us to achieve a deep and harmonious connection. If there's no genuine communication or heartfelt connection, and we just meet up during these activities, what's the difference between that and buying sex? Why bother with that?
In the future, I should be clearer about who I'm looking for. Perhaps not everyone is a suitable partner, but we must find the right one for ourselves! For our sexual happiness and well-being!
