"Mother, what are we doing in this cold palace?" Shun Yuan tugged at Ming Ruo's hand, looked up at her, his little face full of confusion, but he still obediently stayed with Ming Ruo.
Mingruo, of course, wouldn't tell him the reason, but forced a smile: "Mother just wanted to come and see. This palace is so big, and Mother hasn't been able to see it all yet."

Mingruo couldn't withstand such an impact and lay on the ground for a long time, feeling dizzy and seeing stars.
The man stood up and quickly came to help her. Mingruo looked closely and realized it was a woman—a very tall and athletic woman with dozens of small braids, dressed in heavy, patterned clothing, looking like a Wuhuan person. Mingruo took a deep breath. She saw that the woman seemed very excited to see her awake; she even put down the basin of water she was carrying, grasped her hand, and mumbled something incomprehensible. Mingruo couldn't understand it, nor did she want to. She only wanted to see Duanmu Yun, only wanted to ask him: Where was her Shun Yuan?!

Duanmu Yun patted her head, signaling the woman to leave, then pressed Mingruo's shoulder to calm her down: "Shunyuan is taking a nap next door. You're weak, Shunyuan woke up a long time ago, but you've been sleeping for three days and three nights."
Three days and three nights... She actually slept for three days and three nights! Mingruo waved away Duanmu Yun's hand: "I want to see Shunyuan."
"I will let you see me. Come, change your clothes first." Duanmu Yun chuckled, and Mingruo noticed that he was holding a set of exquisite clothes in his hands, still in the attire of the Wuhuan. She shook her head: "I won't change."
