战局打开后，孟轲、鸿钧、靳紫衣率两千精兵趁乱绕开敌军主力，直扑煞域腹地。
厉帝虽对冥海的保密有十足信心，但也不敢大意，于是便派夜游神，以及十大冥帅之首的鬼王马上掉头去拦截。
鬼王模样极为凶狞，卷发鲐背，鼻孔撩天，血唇外倾，利齿獠牙，狞恶若山精，身负浑厚冥力。
他们各领五千阴军去追赶，他们有阴气加持，行军速度甚捷，很快便追上孟轲等人。
「穷酸给我站住！」
夜游神尖叫一声，一口阴气化出六大分身杀来。
靳紫衣祭起紫阳真火，迎了上去：「孽障，给我儒门弟子偿命来！」
靳紫衣因张旭东之死，见了夜游神怒气杀意涌上双眼，厉掌悍然打出，内气如山洪倾泻。
六个夜游神一字排开，紧接着分散到四周，携手勾肩，瞬间结成阵势，阴气在六鬼间流转，毫无走漏，随着流转运行，更造成了一个阴气漩涡，靳紫衣的紫阳掌力刚吐出便被气旋荡散，形成阴盛阳衰的局势。
夜游神得意地道：「这儿地脉完好，你的功体不足往日五成，如何能赢我！」说话间，六个小人迅速围了过来，六面围杀，其中一个小人在行招式暗含书法笔画。
眼见张旭东武功被奸人使用，靳紫衣怒不可遏，功力倏提，紫阳火球凝于掌心，纯阳小霹雳赫然出手，小霹雳的爆发力极为可怕，一个照面便粉碎了夜游神三个化身。
孟轲和鸿钧携手迎战鬼王，两名年轻教主因为阴气结界的影响，难以全功施展，反观鬼王阴气加持，越战越勇，竟有力压儒道之势。
鸿钧以震卦为主，步走形意，起招运式间隐露雄狮之威，使出寰宇八极中的震雷狮吼，雷鸣夹杂着狮形之力，猛不可挡，鬼王也被这招逼退数步。
孟轲见状，立即补上一掌，儒道双式合璧，杀出了一条血路。

靳紫衣以小霹雳重创夜游神后，立即带着部下杀出重围。
夜游神虽然损了两个分身，但可以吸纳阴气补足元功，倒也无甚大碍，鬼王沉声道：「他们越是深入，对我们越是有利！传令下去，全军继续追击，务必将这支孤军歼灭！」
孟轲等人配合着龙辉的计划，且战且退，即便孤军深入也无妨，他们在东边打一战，立即窜到西边，将战火燃至多处，闹得煞域后方难以安生，鬼王和夜游神虽然居于优势，但对手有意保命，他们一时半会也无可奈何。
就这样你进我退，你追我走，短短一天时间，便在煞域多个地区打了好几仗。
也让厉帝感觉到多处产生了阴阳碰撞，进一步掩盖真实战略意图，而孟轲他们是屡战屡败，越打人越少，这倒也让鬼王和夜游神给厉帝屡传捷报，令得厉帝对于后方也安心了不少，没再继续增兵，专心一意地与朝廷军主力对峙。
又一次的突围，士兵已经只剩八百人，阴军却依旧保持着绝对优势，靳紫衣道：「我们兵力越来越少，再这样下去，势必全军覆没！」
孟轲抬头望了望前方，咬牙道：「咱们去煞域王城！」
鸿钧道：「现在就去了吗？」
孟轲道：「按照时间他们也该到了，现在也只能搏一把了！」
众人一路深入，往王宫方向奔去。
夜游神也瞧出了他们的意图，说道：「鬼王，他们似乎要去王宫！」
鬼王哼道：「王宫禁地凡人难入，他们敢去就只有死路一条。」
水师战舰破开在忘川河阴寒的水花，逆流而上，面对战舰强大的炮火以及护航蛟龙，水中阴兽根本毫无抵抗之力，就这么一路杀入忘川河中央。
登上主舰的瞭望台，仇白飞望向河岸对面，一座巍峨又阴沉的宫阙隐约可见，这座王宫三面环山，唯独东面临近忘川河，这一面因为要进行水运，反倒是一片平地。
仇白飞心情一阵澎湃，呢喃自语道：「这便是煞域的王宫吗？」
风望尘淡然笑道：「破敌千里，奇袭异都，这项功劳几乎到手了！」
「全军准备登陆作战！」
仇白飞毅然下令，舰队也开始散开，成登陆驾驶阵势。
就在此时，水里开始卷起一道巨大漩涡，哗啦一声，一头巨兽猛地从水中蹿升而出，磅礴巨硕，身形长达百余丈，正是众海蛇之首——冥蟠王！这阴兽甫一现身，巨尾横扫水面，击碎了五艘烈涛战舰、十五艘定水战船，锐魛舟不计其数。
仇白飞的主舰也被水波震得不断摇摆，他好不容易稳住身形，骂道：「好狡猾的畜生！」
风望尘道：「这孽畜定是有备而来！」
他们两人都大致推测出冥蟠王的意图，原先舰队一直都保持严密的阵型，所以它没有妄动，当战舰开始靠岸，阵型出现零散，它才现身施以雷霆一击。
子孙被屠灭，冥蟠王早就憋了一口火，如今得以宣泄那会客气，借着阴河加持开始兴风作浪。
水上作战，阵型最为重要，往往阵型一乱败势就很难止住，冥蟠疯狂地作孽撒野，舰队就被毁去三成。
仇白飞命人开火反击，但那条冥蟠除了鳞甲厚实外，还有一层绵密的阴气护身，炮弹打在它身上都被弹开，构不成伤害。
护航的蛟龙立即扑上去，爪牙却也难撕开冥蟠护体，反倒是激起冥蟠凶性，甩尾便将几条近身的蛟龙拦腰打断，血染阴河。
风望尘感到手臂一紧，袖袍内金光大盛，龙吟震天。
子孙被杀，缠在他手臂上的五爪金龙再也按耐不住，猛地窜出，百丈龙身，金甲龙鳞，威武龙角，将阴暗的忘川河映照出一片绚丽光华。
金龙飞舞于阴河之上，每次摇动龙身便有惊雷落下，披在冥蟠身上。
雷劲正大阳刚，正是阴气克星，将冥蟠的阴气护甲打得千疮百孔。
冥蟠大怒，腾起身子便要咬金龙，然而龙鳞不但坚硬，而且还蕴含雷劲，冥蟠啃之不下，反被崩碎几个牙齿。
金龙利爪一摁，将冥蟠一拍入水里。
冥蟠在水里挣扎了几下，稳住身形，又窜了上来，它一冒头便朝金龙吐出一股灰暗的阴火。
金龙张口也喷出一股赤火，属性走阳，威力更大，直接冲散阴火。
冥蟠躲避不及，被龙火烧了个正着，鳞甲剥脱，哀嚎挣扎地钻入水里，借着至阴冥水才扑灭火焰，没被烧成灰炭。
五爪金龙一鼓作气，盘舞半空，吞云吐雾，凝雷聚电，道道金雷连环打下，冥蟠那是对手，被金雷轰得尸骨无存。
冥蟠被诛一幕恰好落入往这边赶来的孟轲等人眼中，孟轲拍手赞道：「金龙灭鬼虫，妙哉！」
风望尘哈哈笑道：「孟教主，鸿钧教主，我们可是来迟了？」
鸿钧笑道：「不迟不早，时辰刚好！」
鬼王和夜游神也是无比惊愕。
鬼王惊道：「这还有一支敌军，糟糕——我们都中计了，快禀告陛下！」
说罢便要以神念沟通厉帝。
风望尘御风而去，施展烈风刃，化风为刀，朝着河岸边上的阴军劈去。
五爪金龙也放出黄金雷电。
烈风、金雷同时落下，杀得阴军哀嚎不断，魂飞魄散者不在少数。
鬼王大怒，现出狰狞恶相，催动浑厚邪霸之气，双手扬起，筑起一道气墙，替阴军尸兵挡住这股风雷合击。
挡虽挡住，但金雷乃天谴之雷，鬼王即便有阴气加持也感到颇为吃力。
风望尘看出对方稍有支拙，立即传音：「大帅，就是趁现在！」
仇白飞下令道：「所有火炮强弩给我对准那群鬼怪，恨恨地打！」
士兵闻言，操炮控弩，给岸上阴军好一番招呼，阴气结界虽有强我弱敌之效，却无法削弱这由巧器推动的炮火弩箭，鬼王的护罩也不能全部兼顾，不少尸兵被炮弹和弩箭中的阳火咒符炸得粉碎。
孟轲借着炮火掩护朝鬼王杀来，奔走间纯阳小霹雳已在掌心凝聚，当他窜至鬼王身前时，顺势推掌，紫阳火劲朝鬼王檀中涌去。
鬼王怒喝道：「休想得逞！」
双手十字交叠护在胸口，全力防御。
虽然被阴气结界影响，但纯阳霹雳掌的威力便在于刹那间的爆发和杀伤，哪怕出招者只有三分残力，只要能成功将掌力打中目标，就不会空手而归。
轰隆一声，紫阳烈火猛然爆开，鬼王的双臂被炸得粉碎，惨叫连连。
夜游神大怒，化出五个小人杀向孟轲，经过一段时间吸阴补元，他也重新生出了一个分身，气力也恢复了不少。
就在他扑上来的刹那，靳紫衣也闪到了孟轲跟前，双手各自燃起一个小霹雳火球，看准敌踪，同时打出两团霹雳火球。
夜游神这一扑也正好迎上了火球，霹雳阳劲何其迅猛，夜游神豁出浑身解数才保全一命，但也被炸毁了三个分身。
「不惜一切代价，干掉他们两个！」
风望尘大吼道，五爪金龙腾空盘旋，吞雷吐电，天谴金雷连环落下，受伤的两大阴帅再陷窘境。
鬼王吸纳阴气疗伤，断臂伤口已经开始逐渐长肉，有恢复的迹象，但经不住神龙金雷的轰击，周身已是伤痕累累。
鬼王喘着粗气道：「夜游神，这里由我挡着，你快去找冷澜来支援！」
夜游神连忙突围，风望尘乘风来截，将功体推至极限，双手一缠，使出风之卷最上式——天盘神风！风之卷最强一招，也是最耗内元的一招，风望尘奋然使出，已经非气流转动形成的风，而是先将空间崩碎，再控制这股空间乱流来杀敌。
夜游神被靳紫衣打得只剩下一个肉身，正是虚弱之刻，一下子就被天盘神风给卷入，肉身和魂魄被风刃绞碎，当场死亡，唯独一缕魂气带着本源修为涌向鬼王。
「休想！」
鸿钧窥准机会，捻指结印，凌空一点，寰宇八极化为困阵，牢牢锁住夜游神的那一道魂气。
他迅速掏出一枚晶莹的珠子，默念口诀，将珠子朝困在阵中的夜游神丢去，大喝一声收，立即将魂气封入舍利子之中。
鸿钧哼道：「为了铲除你们这帮孽鬼，本座亲自上佛门讨来了数颗舍利子！」要灭煞域魂气，唯有大贤大德高僧以自焚为代价生出的圣火，诸如天佛、璃楼菩萨、白莲等，可这个层次的高僧每一代也没几个。
单纯的舍利子虽不能所燃起圣火，但要封住魂气仍是绰绰有余，可一旦封入煞域魂气，这枚舍利子也算是报废了。
这次为了灭煞，无力参战的佛门也是将老底都掏出来了，将历代高僧所凝成的上乘舍利子都借给鸿钧。

击溃了这支追兵，仇白飞命令一半船舰靠岸，一半继续在水中游弋支援，登岸的士兵迅速同孟轲等人会师。
仇白飞也亲自登上河岸，同众人打过招呼后，仇白飞问道：「诸位，这个噬魂妖云的阵法要在何处摆设，是否要攻入王宫？」
靳紫衣开口头道：「王宫乃煞域最高中枢，就算没有强兵猛将把守，里边的凶险也非外人可揣度，反正这儿也已是煞域中央之地域，干脆便在这附近摆阵吧。毕竟这附近水域也已经被咱们占据，正好可以水陆呼应！」
风望尘愣了愣，凝眉细想片刻，道：「靳院主所言甚是，这儿地势平坦，一眼便可以看见四周动静，就算是王宫里的鬼卒出来，也可以用船舰上的火炮对付！」
商议妥当后，仇白飞命令士兵在四周排开防线，鸿钧也让白云率领道众又布下一道八极阵法。
风望尘则开始排设噬魂妖云阵。
他布阵的同时，孟轲、鸿钧、靳紫衣都凑了上去，他们对于妖族这个千古绝阵极为好奇，想当初双方仍是仇敌时，三教不少精英都折损在妖云之下，如今有机会都忍不住瞧上一眼。

风望尘将各种珍贵法器拿出，按照阵图罗列开始排布，期间王宫内的阴军不断杀来，仇白飞等人冒死相护，死守防线不退，给风望尘争取了三个时辰，阵法终于布下，一朵赤红得近乎妖异的绛云凝聚于忘川河上空。
