【Boat Boy】

(I)

The boatman lost his mother at a young age and has been living on the boat with him since he can remember, for more than ten years now.

The Xiaoqing River is a small river that separates Feng Town from the provincial capital, and Fengjia Ferry is the only passage connecting Feng Town and the provincial capital.

渐渐的，乡亲们不再像躲避瘟神一样躲避彩儿，反而更愿意与她同船共渡，听她讲那些从没听过的新鲜事和新鲜的道理。

第二天一早，彩儿的两个哥哥过了河这边，不久便硬拖着彩儿回来，后边一个二十岁上下的年轻漂亮的女教师紧追不舍。

省立女子师范学院就在渡口的对面，从渡口走上去不过百步。

四个人来到岸边，彩儿的两个哥哥要把彩儿往船上拉，彩儿打着坠，脸憋得通红，抵死不肯，女教师也在后面抓着彩儿的手，一边怒斥着彩儿的两个哥哥，原来冯三公说彩儿是因为上学才中了cp的毒，所以不让她上学了。

船伢子知道，彩儿回到冯镇决没有好果子吃，他十分不愿意彩儿被拖回去，於是趁着那四个人争执的当口，故意装作不小心，把已经解开的缆绳松了手，让船顺着水向下游漂去。

然后他急匆匆下了水，游向已经跑远了的船。

等船伢子游到船边的时候，回头看去，渡口边上已经站满了人，吵吵嚷嚷闹作一团.

船伢子远远看着，见彩儿已经被那女教师抢了回去，这才把船向回撑。

回到渡口，见那女教师的身后已经站了几十个女学生，彩儿也站在她们的中间，女教师正在当着成群看热闹的人的面怒斥着冯家人的作为，女学生们则在后面喊着口号：【打倒封建主义！坚决支持与封建家庭决裂！】

把彩儿两个哥哥说得哑口无言，满脸通红，两个人见船回来了，一边跳上船，一边气急败坏地道：【彩儿，我再问你一遍，你到底回不回去？】

【我不回去！】

【好！来的时候，爹已经说了，如果你不回去，从此以后，你的吃的，穿的，用的，一切一切，冯家都不再供应，任你自生自灭！】

在庆幸彩儿终於摆脱了让她痛恨的冯家的同时，船伢子格外高兴的是，每到往常彩儿该回家的日子，她便常常到船伢子的船上来，不是为了渡河，只是坐在船上闲谈，自然是彩儿说的多，船伢子说的少，因为船伢子永远都不会有上了学的彩儿知道的多。

由於离学校的校门很近，彩儿偶而出校去的时候，船伢子也都能看见，没人过渡的时候，他就坐在船上，呆呆地向着学校的门口看，只要看见彩儿的身影，无论她向哪里走，船伢子的心里都会十分高兴与满足。

经常与彩儿同行的便是那个漂亮的女教师，还有另一个与彩儿差不多大的女学生。

有一次船伢子偶然问起，彩儿告诉他，那个女教师姓王，是教国文的，她叫她小王老师，那个女学生则与她同班，是小王老师的妹妹，还告诉他，小王老师就快结婚了。

船伢子不知道什么叫结婚，不过彩儿告诉他，结婚就是成亲，船伢子这才明白，他很替小王老师高兴，那么漂亮的一个女人，新郎倌儿一定会好好待她的，接着他便想，如果彩儿嫁给自己，自己也一定要好好待她。

想着，脸上便泛起笑意，彩儿问他笑什么，船伢子忙说没笑什么，脸却胀得通红.

船伢子的大则时常提醒他，彩儿虽然与冯家闹翻了，但毕竟是冯三公的女儿，富家的小姐，一时使起小性子也不奇怪，等她知道了过日子的艰难，早晚还是要回去的，对此，船伢子一点儿也不以为然。

过了几个月，听人们说，彩儿所说的那个什么cp已经在邻近的几个县领着农户闹起来了，成立了农协，不久就要过来了，镇子上也有人悄悄去了邻县同cp联络，估计不久这把火就能烧到这里了，船伢子听了十分高兴.

船伢子的心里十分消沉，那几天彩儿的心情也不好，她悲愤地对船伢子说cp 不会被消灭，他们只是转入暗中继续同官府斗，早晚还会再次起来革命的时候，船伢子的心里才好受了些。

自那以后的很长时间，船伢子经常看到当兵的押着些农户打扮的人从渡口边的路上走向城里，也经常看到用破芦席卷着的尸体被用破板车拉着向南走，他知道南边有一个乱坟岗，这些被砍了头的cp是被抛尸荒郊了，听说乱葬岗上有许多野狗，一具尸体放在那里，用不了一顿饭的功夫就会被咬得只剩下骨头.

彩儿现在不怎么同小王老师姐妹在一起了，也不再到船上同过渡的乡亲说话了，又过了些时候，她竟然拿着自己的小包袱回镇上去了一趟。

看着彩儿从镇中回来，下了渡船走向学校，船伢子的大歎了口气说：【唉！咱们就是天生的穷命，斗不过人家富人的。

那一天，一群当兵的闯进了学校，船伢子听到学校里又是警笛，又是女学生们的尖叫声，不久彩儿忽然拿着个小包袱来到渡口上了船，船伢子刚刚把船撑进河里，岸上便响起一阵喊叫：【站住，把船撑回来！】

船伢子回头一看，见是一群十几个兵，端着枪在向他喊。

船伢子看到彩儿的脸上现出焦急的神色，心里一动，原想不去理那些兵，先把彩儿送过河再说，彩儿忽然又道：【撑回去，不然他们会开枪的。】

接着又说：【下船的时候扶我一把，我怕摔到。】

船伢子只得向回撑，到岸边的时候，彩儿站起来下船，突然船身一晃，差一点儿掉下船去，船伢子手疾眼快，一把抓住她的手，只感到她的手里有什么东西，并用力握了他一下。

船伢子会意，把东西攥在手心里，看着彩儿上了岸，被那群兵围着回了学校。

船伢子看了一眼手心里，原来是一个小纸卷，他知道那东西一定很重要，怕当兵的再回来搜，便把纸卷塞进岸边大柳树的树洞里.

果然，那群当兵的不久便回来了，先搜船伢子的身上，又在船上上上下下搜了个遍，没有找到什么，这才骂骂咧咧地回去。

当兵的走了，船伢子看四周无人，又把那纸卷掏出来，塞进竹船槁尾部的空心里.

又过了一阵儿，当兵的从学校里出来，押着四、五个女学生向城里走，后面跟着一群学生，在小王老师的带领下喊着叫着，内容也就是不许胡乱抓人。

那十几个刚才出来追赶彩儿的兵则把彩儿送上船，不住地作着揖向彩儿陪不是，彷彿是怕冯三公同他们算帐。

彩儿一脸怒气地上了船，当兵的一直在岸边作着揖，直到彩儿上了岸，完全从视线中消失。

彩儿第二天一脸委屈地回来的时候，是由冯三公带着两个长工亲自送过河的，而且上岸后并没有进学校，直接进了城，一直到下午才回来，彩儿脸上的委屈不见了，笑吟吟地又把冯三公送过河，站在岸上看着他们走了，这才重新回到船上。

船伢子看看四周并没有人，这才把东西拿出来递到彩儿手里.

彩儿道：【昨天真谢谢你了，这东西比我的命还金贵呢！】

【那是什么？】

【没什么，只是一张借据，他们连长的，藉着搜cp，想把这东西抢了去赖帐。】

【啊，是这样，那可得收好了。】

【那当然！】彩儿不说，船伢子便装作不知，但心里忽然间明白了什么.

他没有看过那东西，看过也没用，因为他根本不识字，但知道那东西决不是什么借据，他忽然间有些明白了，彩儿也许还是原来的彩儿，她现在正在干什么大事儿呢！

一想到那用板车拉到坟场去的尸体，船伢子不由又替她担心起来。

转眼间又过了两个年头，彩儿还在学校里上学，不过上的已经是大学了。

在这两年里，学生们越来越不安份了，经常排着队，举着旗，喊着口号向城里走，每次回来的时候，又都要搀着几个头破血流的。

但彩儿却从来都不会出现在队伍中，而且看上去她也与其他学生疏远了许多，总是孤零零地一个人，不过回家的次数却多了起来，有时候每天下午都过河回家，第二天早晨再返校，反正这里离冯镇也不过只有七、八里路。

彩儿被捕的时候正是船伢子他大在摆渡，船伢子在家作饭，所以没有看见，只听见他大说，学校里去了许多兵，一共带走了五个人，一个老师，四个学生，彩儿便是其中之一。

船伢子以为又是象每次一样，不过是抓几天就把人放了，谁知这一次半个月过去了，抓进去的人却没有放出来。

彩儿被抓的事也成了过渡的乡亲们议论的内容，船伢子这才知道这回的事情大了。

听说这一次官家是因为一个被抓住的cp联络员受不住刑而招了供，结果一举抓住了cp省委的一个首要人物，又进一步通过这个人的变节而把整个省委和一些下属机构都破坏了。

被捕的人有五、六十，女子师范学院被抓进去的人中有三个是cp，其中就包括作为省委学运分部联络员的彩儿。

船伢子的心揪了起来，他知道，当cp是要杀头的，当上cp的骨干更是性命堪忧.

他敬佩cp，敬佩彩儿，但更为她的命运担心。

从人们的议论中，船伢子还知道，在彩儿被抓去的当天，冯三公就被省警察局请了去，劝说彩儿悔过，揭发同党，但彩儿拒绝了，并再一次同冯三公吵翻了，气急败坏的冯三公后来对警察局长说，彩儿已经不是冯家的人，要杀要剐，任由所为，均与冯家无相干。

此后，彩儿同其他被捕的人一样，都受了很重的刑，但一直都没有服软。

在人们怜惜与佩服彩儿的同时，乡亲们也骂冯三公不是人。

虎独还不食子呢，他竟然把自己的亲生女儿推在火炕里不闻不问。

听到这些，船伢子对彩儿的命运更加担心了，连他大都不管她的生死，她又那样硬碰硬地同官家干，这让他怎么能不担心呢？

又过了一阵子，人们不再议论这件事，一切彷彿都没发生过一样，但船伢子却越来心里越不安。

终於有一天，人们再次谈起了彩儿，这次是说，法院已经判下来了，被抓的人中有二十几个判了死罪，彩儿也在其中，不日就要杀头了。

还说，宣判之前，冯三公带着他的五姨太，也就是彩儿的亲生母亲去了监狱，想最后一次劝说彩儿回心转意，但彩儿去意已决，再无二念。

冯三公也再次当着警察局长的面宣称，彩儿已经不是冯家的人，任由国法制裁，死后不得葬入冯家祖坟，冯家任何人也不许替她收尸。

船伢子的嘴上起了成片的大燎泡，他大看着他，只顾唉声歎气。

（四）

三天之后，船伢子一大早来到渡口，便感到气氛不对，女子师院的门前来了许多兵，还有成群的人挤在街上纷纷议论，一打听，原来今天要在南城外和女师操场两地处死cp的要犯。

船伢子只感到自己的脑袋轰轰直响，也顾不得许多人等在对岸摆渡，自己跑上岸去便向人群中挤，他要看他的彩儿最后一眼。

船伢子年轻力大，拚命挤到人群的最里面，见当兵的荷枪实弹地站成两排，把人群拦在校门和大路两边。

人们纷纷议论着，语气中充满複杂的情感。

船伢子顾不得听别人说什么，心里只希望被杀的人中没有彩儿。

等了有近半个时辰，才从城里方向开来了三辆这里极少见的汽车，每辆车上都站着七八个带枪的警察，每辆车的最前面还站着一个年轻的女犯。

远远看去，在警察的黄狗皮当中，三个女犯的身体白得耀眼。

随着车子开近，船伢子渐渐看出来，原来三个女犯瘦瘦的上半身果然都光着，细嫩的双臂被五花大绑地捆在身后，脑后插着高高的亡命牌，每人有两个警察左右搀着，紧靠在驾驶楼后面。

由於有驾驶楼和车槽帮挡着，看不见她们的下半身，只看见三个姑娘都昂着头，高高地挺着一对雪白的奶，红红的奶头随着汽车的颠颇瑟瑟地抖动着。

三个姑娘的头发都是短短的，并不时用力甩着头，把掉下来遮住脸的乱发甩到脑后去。

车子越来越近，船伢子认出来，最前面那个高高个子的女人便是小王老师，第二辆车上那个与她一样高但要消瘦些的是她的妹妹，而最后一辆车上那个生得小巧玲珑的正是彩儿。

人群开始向前挤，船伢子他就像一叶小舟一样被挤得摇过来，晃过去，他几乎没有了意识，像被雷打了一样，只是呆呆地看着车上那个熟悉的美丽面孔。

彩儿也看见了他，忽然笑了笑，笑得很甜，也很从容，把船伢子笑醒了，他在心里暗骂着，骂官府，骂冯三公和那些富人，也骂自己，骂自己没本事去把她救出来。

车停在了校门前，中间的车正停在船伢子的面前。

当兵的把车子三面的槽帮都打开放下来，上面的警察纷纷跳下车，只剩下三个女犯和每辆车上三个警察。

船伢子这才看见，小王老师和她妹妹连下身也没有穿衣服，露着修长的大腿和圆圆的屁股，搀着她们的兵不仅仅搀着她们，而且每人还用一只手放在她们的屁股蛋上，不时捏上一下，每当此时，被捏住的臀肉分开，便露出里面深深凹陷的肛门.

人群又开始骚动，有的人在低声骂官府无耻，另一些人则大声地用下流的语言对三个女犯进行人格上的污辱和谩骂.

船伢子长这么大，还是第一次看见女人的身体，虽然他暗中骂着自己，并极力控制着自己，但还是感到了身体的反应，。

从第一辆车开始，每辆车上的第三个警察开始大声宣读女犯的死刑令，每念到一个人的死刑令，搀人的两个警察便把女犯的头按着，强行让她深深地弯下腰去，高高地撅起屁股，背后那个警察在读完死刑令后，便先从后面摸那女犯的腿裆一把，才让她们重新站起来，却又被强行分开两脚，终於露出了两腿间的那条肉缝.

只有彩儿没有被那样羞辱，只是被按低了头，然后又站起来完事。

船伢子看到，小王老师姐妹的脸胀得通红，眼睛里的泪光闪了一瞬又消失了。

三个姑娘的脸上都带着无畏的微笑，用力梗着脖子，不甘屈服。

姑娘们被从车上拎起来，交给车下的警察，同样是两个人一个把她们架着，脚不点地地向学校大门里走去。

彩儿走在最后，在即将走入校门的一瞬，她用力扭回头来，向着船伢子发出了令他终生难忘的灿烂的一笑。

听着学校里传来女学生们的口号声和尖叫声，船伢子紧攥着拳头，不知做什么才好。

不久，墙里又传来一片尖声和惊呼，然后便是女人们的哭声，船伢子知道，三个姑娘都完了，他的彩儿也完了。

三个姑娘都面朝下，身子的中间因为自重而向下垂落，整个儿身子形成一个弯弯的弧形，年轻女人好看的奶软软地垂挂在胸前，不住地左右摆动着。

她们的脑袋都没了，只剩下血淋淋的脖腔，血还在一股一股地流出来。

女尸先被脚朝外放在蓆子上，然后翻过身去，仰面朝天地躺着，船伢子看到她们的膝盖上、肚皮上和奶上都是黄土，胸前还有很多血，想来是死后扑倒在地上时弄髒的。

抬人警察又进了一趟学校，出来时每人拿了一块湿抹布，蹲在那里把三个女尸身上的血和土都擦乾净了，露出女人本来的白嫩肌肤，接着又把女尸的腿分开，由於两脚捆着，所以只是膝盖处尽量向外展，好像是三只仰倒着的死青蛙一般，女人的一切都暴露无遗.
